I don't really see the benefit of not allowing the service as a provider, assuming it's their choice bc it usually is and they're historically dumb when it comes to being scared of streaming and shooting themselves in the foot.

Flashbacks to when the Network first came out and providers temporarily took the regular PPVs off out of protest bc they said everyone would pay the $10 instead....which just pushed the consumers that didn't want to try streaming to trying it bc they had no choice lol but they have to pay for those PPV rights and they aren't cheap even nowadays when everyone streams so that's their logic

If this isn't providers excluding themselves bc they're dumb then I would bet the politics would be the providers included are friendly with Disney where the others aren't lol

Who is this tgqchampion guy aside form a random social media inflencer? I went to his profile and it's literally just an inflencer. He's not a person with any sources or anything. Just a guy. Why is his word being taken as gospel just because he pays Elon Musk to have a blue checkmark next to his name.

Since there continue to be confusion over WWE events that will stream on ESPN's streaming service once they migrate there in 2026, PWInsider.com reached out to ESPN this afternoon asking for clarification. Here is what we were told:

"Fans can subscribe to ESPN’s direct to consumer product for 29.99 per month and get all the PLEs.

Or, if fans have ESPN through the following, they also have access to the PLEs:

-Hulu Live.

-DirecTV.

-Charter.

-FuboTV.

-Verizon Fios."

PWInsider.com is also told that YouTubeTV is not one of the platforms that will allow access, currently. If we learn that changes, we will update accordingly.

Possibly but like I said, the logic never made much sense to me. When providers first did the WWE network protest it was bc they didn't want the PPVs included bc no one would pay $60 if they were, so they stopped carrying the PPVs at all.

I think in this situation it probably isn't PPV related tho bc again this is a massive sports streaming service that just happens to include WWE so it's probably for reasons completely unrelated

The providers could simply be scared that if people can stream ESPN proper with their provider they'll realize they only want to pay $30 for that and they don't really want to keep paying $100+, they had just never thought about it prior bc sports made cable a necessity for them

And again, might not be the providers deciding either lol
