Well this fucking blows, The Ascension were amazing and it was probably just a matter of time before they were put on the main roster. Hopefully they can find a find another partner to put with O'brien so they can keep this gimmick going.

No sympathy for Latimer. With two arrests over the past two years he deserves to be fired.
Hopefully they sort something out for O'Brien though. I don't necessarily like that tag team, but it'd be a shame if he didn't make it to the main roster because of Latimer's actions. They could easily just find a replacement and keep the same gimmick. Not a whole lot of people watch NXT so if they were to make it to the main roster no one would take any notice.

O'Brian(Roughouse O'Riely when I used to watch him) was my favorite part of The Ascention anyways, its easy enough to replace Cameron, and Kreuger would be a good sub.

They both seemed to work so well with each other. Real shame. But when you do stupid shit, expect consequences. I read the first couple of lines and instantly knew he'd be future endeavoured.

The other guy was the only decent one anyway. Connor OBrian? Man he had some great squashes in FCW. The gimmick is shit, though.

Damn thats a shame, the Ascension is one of the best things going in WWE. Its a shame the full stable never made it to the WWE/NXT roster and now its seemingly over unless Epico rejoins him seeing as Primo/Epico have been relegated to jobber tag team status.

Doesn't look good for him, the battery charge on an officer is probably going to mean he is part of the next group of releases. No sympathy since he is a repeat offender.
Hopefully they can just give O'Brian another guy to team with to keep the team alive. Would suck if he has to go back to square one because of what his tag team partner did.

I think Corey Graves could be a good fit. He kinda has that dark look to him.

What other options are there? The Ascention gimmick was kinda lost on me, they looked like a couple of goth posers that watched The Matrix one too many times.
Kreuger can fit in if they are a goth gimmick, alot of those people have mental issues.
Otherwise the only option I can see is to make O'Brian one of Bray Wyatts goons, or to just forget about him altogether.

I was getting a "Dark Knight" ripoff type of gimmick. They stood on rooftops and had this poor-man's version of The Dark Knight soundtrack as their theme music. Jim Johnston failing like an idiot, as usual.
With that said, we need another "dark" or "psychological" character or characters to make their way onto the roster. Kane's busy being a screwball with Team Hell No to go back to his summer-2010 "Devil's Favorite Demon" and the Undertaker is a one-off match guy from now on.
Give us another 1996 Goldust or 1996 Mankind.
