WWE Undisputed Champion: Hulk Hogan
WWE Women's Champion: Trish Stratus
WWE Tag Team Champions: Billy & Chuck
WWE Cruiserweight Champion: Tajiri

Triple H comes down and talks about getting revenge on Vince McMahon and on Jericho; he then calls Jericho out but gets Edge instead. He says he didn't like being hit with a sledgehammer He says they are both good guys, and good guys don t have problem with each other but he didn’t t care. He says HHH may take out Jericho and he will shave angle but he feels very competitive, like he might want to play the game. HHH explains he is a lot of things, but he is not a good guy. HHH says that if Edge wants to play the game so Edge hits him and the two go at it in the ring and Angle and Jericho run down to attack, Angle spears Edge Angle & Jericho throw HHH into the ring steps! Jericho holds Edge down while Angle snips a lock of Edge's hair! HHH gets a chair and Jericho and Angle leave.

Vince says he knows Stacy will win the Swimsuit competition. Vince asks Stacy for a sneak peak and she flashes him Vince asks Stacey if he can nuzzle her breasts. Angle and Jericho barge in and rejoice in beating down Edge and HHH. Vince makes a tag team match between HHH and Edge vs. Angle and Jericho.

Randy Orton & Big Valbowski vs. Hardcore Holly & Lance Storm
Seems like the "Big Valbowski" is his LEGIT ring name now. The Orton/Lance exchanges were cool. The match ends when Lance Storm hits Orton with a superkick! And goes for the cocky pin but Orton reverses it into the crucifix pin while holding the tights. *3/4

Torrie Wilson is going down some steps and Maven wishes Torrie luck in the swimsuit competition. He said he saw what happened with Tajiri. Then he asks her out to a couple of drinks, she accepts. D-von comes around the corner and preaches about Maven's lustful thoughts! Al Snow breaks up the preaching of D-Von but not before D-Von promises Maven salvation by him.

Gregory Helms Funaki. He asks Funaki about the word "Evil" written on his shirt. Funaki says he is busy, and turns away. Helms sees a note addressed to the Hurricane attached to Funaki's back and grabs it and reads it. "Hurricane, congrates on your title shot tonight, but take head on your win, because then you're pain, will surely begin!"

During the interview with Jericho, Jericho says his message of the night was to HHH that he will pull back the curtain and unveil the competitor that he is at Judgment Day. Jericho brings up that he put HHH in the Walls of Jericho after HHH tore his quad. On Sunday he said that HHH would face the real Jericho when he is locked in the cage.

Maven vs. Reverend D-Von (w/ Deacon Batista)
Solid little match nothing memorable happens *1/2

Torrie and Stacy come down for the bikini contest. Torrie is about to take off her robe, but Tajiri runs down and throws a robe over her and pulls her to the back. Stacy says she's the winner then and refuses to undress. Trish Stratus comes out and says she thinks the people came to see a competition. She asks if Stacey if afraid of competition. Trish says she forgot her bikini but reveals bedroom cloths. Stacey tries to attack Trish with a shoe but she is thrown out of the ring.

sd1o.gif

Vince Congratulates D-Von on his recent success, and says that Batista is very impressive. Stacey comes in and complains about what just transpired. Vince promises to make it up to her. Stacey wants a championship match. Vince gives the ok but the match would be at Judgment day with service protection by D-Von. D-Von misunderstands protection for condoms. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Vince explains to D-Von that he knows Bubba Ray will be there. D-Von says he will help.

Rikishi vs. Rico
FUCK THIS MATCH!

Vince tells Stacey he has no doubt she would have won the swimsuit competition if it wasn’t t for Trish. Billy, Chuck and Rico barge in. Vince gets upset with the Tag Champs for letting Rikishi beat them. So Vince says that they will defend their titles at Judgment Day against Rikishi and a mystery partner of Vince's choosing.

In the back, Triple H cuts a promo about how in HIAC, Jericho won't have 5 guys or Vince; He says it will be Triple H alone with Jericho. He said if Jericho is wondering what he will do at Hell in the Cell, he should consult Mick Foley, because Mick Foley s career was ended by Triple H in a Hell in a Cell match. Edge comes over and says they still have unfinished business. Triple H's tells him to go win a few World Titles before getting in his face, OH SHIT! And Edge say maybe he'll take H's route and marry the boss' daughter and sleep his way to some world titles and the top spot. OH SHI! Triple H says to do it any way he wants, but start after tonight when they have a match to win.

WCW Cruiserweight Championship: The Hurricane vs. Billy Kidman vs. Tajiri
Man this needed more time, it was just starting to get good then it just ended. Hurricane pins Tajiri with the Hurri-Chokeslam. **

Hulk Hogan comes down limping to the ring, and he gets on the mic and milks the crowd reaction. He paces around the ring in disbelief of the crowd’s reaction to him. He then LEGIT starts crying. He throws the microphone over his shoulder to soak in the moment for even longer. He told the crowd they were overwhelming. He said he had one goal, to get to Wrestlemania. After that he came out to that arena to say thanks but then couldn't leave. The crowd started cheering again He says he hoped his dreams would never end, and then says he knows Hulkamania will live forever. With all that said, Hogan asks what is Undertaker gonna do when... then he is interrupted by Vince. Vince says reality doesn't suck, in his opinion Hulkamania sucks. He says he admits he enjoyed Raw when Undertaker dragged him behind his own motorcycle. Vince says that at one time Hogan was immortal but now Vince sees it as empty shell of what Hogan used to be. He says that Hulkamania has a terminal illness, it has cancer. Vince says that is why Sunday, the Undertaker will bury Hogan. He says the red stands for the blood Taker will spill at Judgment Day, and the yellow stands for the big yellow streak down his back. Vince slaps him, so Hogan punches him and hits the Legdrop.

Triple H & Edge vs. Chris Jericho & Kurt Angle
Fun tag match that could have used a little more time. The Edge/Kurt interactions was what made this watchable. The match ends when HHH hits a pedigree on Angle but Jericho breaks up the count. HHH chases Jericho to the outside the ring and the ref tried to get them back in, but is knocked down. HHH and Jericho make it into the crowd and beyond. Edge throws Angle in the ring but Angle hits him with a chair. The ref gets in the ring. Angle slams Edge and pins Edge for the three counts. Angle pulls out the piece of Edge s hair and stands over him holding it. **3/4

WWE Judgment Day 2002
May 19th, 2002 OH SHIT!
Nashville, Tennessee

WWE Undisputed Champion: Hulk Hogan
WWE Intercontinental Champion: Eddie Guerrero
WWE Tag Team Champions: Billy & Chuck
WWE European Champion: William Regal
WWE Hardcore Champion: Steven Richards
WWE Cruiserweight Champion: The Hurricane
WWE Women's Champion: Trish Stratus

Intercontinental Championship: Eddie Guerrero vs. Rob Van Dam
The match was not only back and forth but featured some great psychology by Eddie. It was never slow, and always fast with counters and reversals among near falls and high impressive impact moves. The only bad thing I can say about this match is the somewhat anticlimactic ending. They got over ten-minutes, but the match felt like it was just starting to get going until Eddie counters a heel kick into a backslide and uses the ropes for the three-count. ***1/4

In the back, Reverend D-Von leads Batista, Vince, and Stacy in a prayer for the safety of Stacy Keibler. Vince uses this time to check out Stacy.

WWE Women's Championship: Trish Stratus (w/Bubba Dudley) vs. Stacy Keibler (w/Rev. D-Von & Deacon Batista)
Useless match here and was basically just here to get the Stacy looks like she at least tries, but it’s Trish who mostly carries this match. Post-Match: Bubba offers to make nice with D-Von, but Batista attacks him from behind, and they put Bubba through a table. 1/4*

jd1l.gif
jd2.gif

In the back, Vince McMahon barges in on a meeting between Ric Flair and Arn Anderson. Vince goes to Flair and shakes his hand. They laugh about Austin, and hug. Vince has a hateful face when Flair isn't looking, and then when Vince leaves, Flair's asks like he hates his guys, WHAT A BUNCH OF 2 FACE BITCHES!." :lmao

The Hardy Boyz vs. Brock Lesnar & Paul Heyman
BROCK! SQUASH! Sort of Hardyz got some offense in but Lesnar basically mauled both Hardyz and picked up the win by himself, proving yet again what a beast he was. The match ends when eff gets two off a crossbody, but Brock knocks him into Matt and finishes with the F5 oh and Heyman was the one that got the pin. **

The NWO's newest member, Booker T Wearing an NWO shirt and saying he's fine with it. He then sees some black woman so he starts hitting on her. She gives him her hotel key.

Handicap Match: The Big Show & Ric Flair vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin
Really 15 minutes, this was 15 minutes long. GOD! WAY too long for a handicap match, especially one where they spend five minutes working on the leg only to finish with an X-Pac run in and for Austin to No-Sell it. Plus Show was on the out-side for most of the match while Flair did the work WHY? Now I love Flair but the guy is shell of his former self and this isn't even EVOLUTION Flair when he finally got the confidence back. *1/2

Hair vs. Hair Match: Edge vs. Kurt Angle
Really good match here, almost on the "Backlash" level. And the finish was incredible with Angle goes for the Anklelock, but Edge enzuigiris him. Angle stays with it and reapplies the hold. But Edge spins over, kicks Angle into the ropes, and catches him with the small packages him on the rebound. This is actually probably the best match of the night, it never really gets boring, and Edge takes a massive bump over the top rope. Post-Match: Kurt tries to attack Edge, but he hits the Edgacution. He drags Kurt up to the barber's chair, but Kurt shoves him away and runs to the back. ***1/2 - ***3/4

Goldust & Booker do it again.

Hell in a Cell: Triple H vs. Chris Jericho
The video package for this was actually pretty awesome. I have to admit the chemistry with the switched face/heel alignment is just not working. This didn't feel like a "HIAC" type feud it just didn't have that HATE and I'M GOING TO FUCKING KILL YOU LIKE previous Cell matches had, While this match was bloody and violent, even getting a ladder involved, it just never seemed to take off and the fans were just not all that into it. And you know the match is pretty average when the ref takes the most memorable bump of the match when he goes flying into the side of the cell and does a sweet job on his blade job. The match ends when both Triple H and Jericho climbed up the cage and hit Pedigree onto for the 3. ***

jd4.gif
jd5.gif

In the back, Angle tries to hide from Edge by hiding in the make-up chair.

At WWF New York - Maven and Torrie are on their date. UGH!

Billy & Chuck vs. Rikishi & A Mystery Partner
The Fink said Rikishi`s mystery tag team partner was RICO! Rico was Billy & Chuck's manager, so Rikishi is totally getting screwed over on PPV in what amounts to a handicap match. Way it goes Vince. Rikishi fights off both men for a while until Rico missed a kick and hit Chuck, and Rikishi Superkicked Rico. He then pinned Chuck to win the titles. WHAT!

Backstage, Kurt jumps Edge. He drags him out by the hair and says he's getting a haircut. Edge suddenly reverses and puts Angle out with the sleeper and shaves him mostly bald. Edge tells the crowd to chant “You’re Bald†from now on and puts a bunch of shaving cream on his bald head. He wakes Kurt up and leaves, and Kurt is upset.

WWE Undisputed Championship: Hulk Hogan vs. The Undertaker
This match really wasn’t as bad as it is made out to be, it was much worse. Both guys are slow sloppy. Hogan attempts an awkward and poorly executed superplex and no sells most of Taker’s moves. He also fails to jump during the Undertaker’s chokeslam, making it one funniest chokeslams ever, it looks like Hogan was only got 3 inches off the ring. The match ends when Taker kicked out of the legdrop and Vince came down. Taker got a chair in the ring, but Hogan kicked it into his face and hit another legdrop. Vince got in and Hogan hit him with the legdrop, but Taker killed Hogan with a chair and hit the Chokeslam to win. The only high points of the match are that JR's started calling him Big Evil now and he’s also debuting the wordless "YOUR GONNA PAY" song :mark: FUCK THIS MATCH! Post-match: Taker hits Hogan with the larynx throat chair move to further kill Hogan. *

RIP David Boy Smith

Rob Van Dam comes out for his match, but Taker runs down behind him and attacks, running him headfirst into the barrier and the ringpost and throwing the steps into RVD's head. Officials attend to RVD on the outside of the ring as Taker paces inside the ropes. Taker steps out and punches RVD some more as RVD is busted open above his right eye. Taker grabs the steel steps and lays out RVD once more. Undertaker gets on the mic he says he doesn't know who RVD thinks he is, but he is the NEW Undisputed Champion and as that champion, he has the right to come down the ramp first and start Monday Night RAW. Taker then says that there are going to be some changes and he will do whatever he wants, he is going to come down and say it, and if there is someone already there, they can either step aside or stay and get their ass kicked. Fair enough. Taker says RVD got re-acquainted with the #1 rule of this company, which is "You will respect and fear the Undertaker." If anyone has a different opinion, they should go to a bus station and ask Hollywood Hogan what happens when you disrespect the Undertaker. RVD tries to crawl back into the ring but Taker kicks him down again, Taker says he said he was going to beat Hogan and take his title, and he did. He beat the man up, took his pride, and most importantly, he claims, he killed Hulkamania. Saying that Hogan isn't going to show up tonight, and that Hogan will announce his retirement Thursday on Smackdown. Taker expects a thank you from Hogan for allowing him to walk down to the ring to make that announcement, because Hogan was that close from never walking again. RVD struggles back into the ring and Taker says some people just don't learn, Taker tells RVD he asked for it, goes for a clothesline but misses, and RVD hits a heel kick and starts punching the Undertaker on the mat. Officials step in and separate the two, RVD charges back in and Taker whips him into the corner but RVD kicks him as he charges in. RVD goes up top and lands the Five-Star Frog Splash on the fallen Undertaker! AWESOME WAY TO BOOK RVD!

In the back, Taker bursts into Flair's office. He says RVD disrespected him just like Austin disrespected Flair. Taker demands a match with RVD for tonight. Flair does him one better, making the match for the WWE Undisputed Title. Undertaker agrees but says "Damn!" "Damn!" "Damn!" "Damn!" Taker leaves and Flair says he's going to throw Austin a curveball tonight!

The Hardy Boyz vs. Big Show & X-Pac (w/ Booker T)
This was really enjoyable, I liked that they had X-Pac control the majority of the match and whenever the Hardyz tried to speed it up Pac would tag show in to beat them down. The match ends when Show comes in and lays out Jeff. Show misses Matt, and Booker T comes in and accidentally hits Big Show. An Elvis impersonator comes in as Pac covers Jeff, after the X-Factor but the ref is distracted by Elvis. Jeff rolls up X-Pac for 3. **1/4

In the back, Trish is working out before her match and the GOAT Paul Heyman approaches he says he can't get the image of Trish out of his mind from Smackdown and from Judgement Day. He then says he and Trish should get together later tonight, FUCK YEAH! She says she has a match and leaves. Heyman celebrates that it wasn't a "NO!"

raw2d.gif

X-Pac yells at Booker T about Goldust's interference. Booker says that Goldust is NOT his friend! Big Show says he's sick of this and proclaims himself the leader of the NWO! X-Pac says he's been in the group longer than both of them so he should be leader, Goldust says that if they let him into the NWO HE might be leader! :lmao Booker T says he will prove he's the leader by beating the Hardyz tonight, with the Gold Freak as his partner.

WWE Women's Championship: Trish Stratus vs. Jaqueline
So it looks like Jaqueline failed her referee course cause she’s back to wrestling, what a shame. I have to admit this match really showed the amount of progress Trish has made since November both girls was hitting moves cleanly. Trish hits a bulldog for the win. Post-Match: Trish and Jackie shake hands after the match. Heyman and Lesnar come down and Heyman asks Trish for an answer, because Brock doesn't like it when people don't give Heyman answers. Trish can either say Yes! and go with Paul, or take the rough way, which Brock likes, Trish emphatically says no and Heyman sends Brock in after Trish, and Bubba Ray Dudley comes out and stares down Lesnar. Heyman holds Brock back while Trish escapes. The staredown continues with Heyman in the middle. Bubba has that look in his eyes, but Lesnar steps back and exits the ring.

a Day in the Life of Tommy Dreamer

The Training suggests RVD not go back out there. RVD getting treated by the medic, and RVD says there's nothing that will keep him from going out and kicking the Undertaker's ass tonight.

WWE European Championship: William Regal vs. Bubba Ray Dudley
They did some stuff it was alright, The match ends when Bubba goes to the outside and Lesnar runs down and attacks Bubba from behind. The bell rings for the DQ as Lesnar comes in and hits his TKO-type finisher on Bubba inside the ring. Lesnar celebrates as Molly hands the brass knuckles to Regal. Regal hits Bubba in the back of the head with the Power of the Punch. *1/2

Ric Flair and Arn Anderson make their way to the ring, and Flair gets on the mic. Flair knows Austin is in the back listening. At Judgement Day, Austin didn't beat Flair. Flair wasn't even the legal man. So, as the owner, he has taken it upon himself to correct the record book. But that is the end of Plan A. Plan B starts tonight. If Austin has the guts to come down, Flair will explain to him just what it entails. Austin comes to the ring, Arn steps between Flair and Austin and reminds him that Flair will always have Anderson to back him up. Ric says that his plan to put Austin up against the odds obviously didn't work. But Plan B says that Austin, as property of Raw, is property of Ric Flair. As such, he's taking Austin out of action. He's going to take away what keeps Austin going, what makes him tick. As of tonight, Austin is "BENCHED!" :lmao until further notice. He tells Austin to get out of here, so Austin Stuns them both, pours beer on them, and leaves.

Raven comes out to do commentary, he says that JR has forgotten anything about actual wrestling, while King is only interested in women. "if King knew women, his WIFE wouldn't have left him!" :lmao

Booker T & Goldust vs. Hardy Boyz
Booker and Matt start off, with Booker clubbing Matt down. Jumping calf kick by Booker. Tag to Goldust, who thumps Matt down. Matt boots Goldust back and then chokes Booker on the ropes. Big Show and X-Pac come down while Booker is down and X-Pac kicks Goldust in the back of the head. Matt cradles pins him for 3 Post-Match: X-Pac and Show pick up Booker and tell him that Goldust just lost them the match, causing Booker to question his relationship with Goldust. DUD!

At a local bar, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Debra enter. Austin orders a couple beers and he and Debra take a seat at the bar.

In the ring, the NWO and Goldust are arguing amongst themselves. Booker tells X-Pac that just because they lost at Judgement Day doesn't mean they have to mess up his team with Goldust. X-Pac says that it's payback for Booker's spending Judgement Day in a hotel room and not having their back. Big Show says that if Booker wants out, he has no problem taking him out personally. Booker says he's ready to go, but Kevin Nash comes down. Nash stares down Goldust and he bails Nash says Flair put Booker in and Flair owns Raw, but NASH runs the NWO. He turns to Show and X-Pac and tells them that their losses have made the black-and-white look pathetic. This was the most feared group the sport had ever seen. Now, it may never be that again. Nash and Show are the two biggest guys in the company. No one can stop them. They can turn this around tonight. He, Pac, and Show raise hands in agreement. Nash says that he didn't invite Booker to the party, but there's always room for a 5-time WCW Champion. Booker T joins in, this fucking stable :lmao

Back at the bar, the bartender gives Debra a small bear, saying it's from the gentleman at the far table. The camera pans over and we see it is Eddie Guerrero. YES! Steve questions Debra why Eddie is sending her drinks and teddy bears? Debra calms Austin down and convinces him to sing.

Raven stands up from the table and goes to the ring. He says Lawler doesn't know anything about wrestling anymore. He challenges Lawler to a match, Lawler stands on his chair and tells Raven that the last time he saw something like Raven, he flushed it. If Raven wants to challenge him to fight in his hometown, then he better hurry to the back, because when Raven gets back to the ring, the King will be ready for him.

In the bar, Debra convinces Austin to go to the karaoke machine and sing her a song. As he gets to the microphone, Eddie jumps in front of him and tells Austin that he's 'got this one' They get into a scuffle :lmao Austin stares Guerrero down but Debra holds Austin back. Eddie takes the mic and says he's going to show Austin how it's done, Latino-style. He begins singing, but gets drowned out by a chorus of boos, but he keeps on singing. Oh Eddie!

Jerry Lawler vs. Raven
It was stable.

Back at the bar, Austin gets his chance at karaoke and he starts singing "WASTED AWAY IN MARGARITAVILLE!" Austin then goes to the operator and asks for a new song and sings, but notices the two women at Eddie's table not singing along. He goes over and asks why they're not having a good time, but Eddie won't answer. Austin says he's going to sing more songs just to bother Eddie. Austin goes back to the stage, allowing Eddie to jump up and smash a beer bottle over Austin's head.

raw3.gif

WWE Undisputed Championship: Rob Van Dam vs. The Undertaker
They've done better, it really needed more time. The match ends when RVD whips Taker into the exposed turnbuckle and takes him down with a spinning heel kick. Rolling Thunder to Taker 1-2-3! OH SHIT! but Taker had his foot on the ropes, but Hebner didn't see it! Van Dam wins! As Hebner calls for the bell, Ric Flair runs down and forces them to restart the match. RVD grabs Flair and punches him down, but this allows Taker to recover and hit Van Dam with the Last Ride 3. **1/2

Triple H vs. Lance Storm
Really solid back-and-forth match here, it was nice of Triple H to allow Lance to get some offense in, I guess it only took a HIAC injury for him to do so. I should add Triple H was really selling the HIAC match too. The match ends when Storm gets on the top rope but HHH throws the ref into the ropes to knock Storm off. Triple H hits the Pedigree on Storm and covers him for the win. **1/2

In the back, Christian and Angle are talking P.S. Kurt's head is off-screen :lmao Kurt says that going out to the ring would be the most courageous thing he's ever done. Christian starts singing "You’re BALD!"

Stacey explains that Vince is jealous Randy Orton because he is so young. Stacey tells Tests she wants him to take care of Orton. Test agrees. Test the grabs Stacey and kisses her. Test leaves and Stacey looks perplexed. EWWWW!

Kurt comes to the ring and the crowd is chanting you’re Bald! You're Bald! You're Bald! Kurt is wearing a wrestling headgear on with a wig underneath :lmao Kurt brags about growing a full head of hair in less than a week. Angle says that even more amazing than winning a gold medal with a broken neck is how fast his hair grew back with new hair supplements. He apologizes to the crowd for disappointing them by not being bald, but if they want a big bald loser, Hogan's here. Maven comes out and says its nice being bald, says it’s not that bad and it might actually make Angle look better. Maven says Angle should do himself a favour and take of the Elton John wig and that his fans will not laugh at him. Kurt tells Maven come down and takes the wig off him! Maven runs down. Kurt stomps the crap out of him and hits the Angle Slam. Kurt leaves, but Edge attacks him on the ramp. He tries to pull off the wig, but Christian runs and throws Edge off. He helps Kurt up to the back.

sd1a.gif

Stacy comes to the ring and dances on the Announce table. YES!

sd2d.gif

Test vs. Randy Orton
Test must have known Randy was gonna be a huge star because he tried in this match. He had a couple of really impressive moves and bumped for all or Orton's shit too. Test debuted the Test Drive for the win, it basically the Hero's welcome. **

Taker reminds that he said he would be judge, jury and executioner of Hulkamania. Mark Lloyd then shows Footage of RVD/Taker from RAW. Taker says that Ric Flair ruled that the match would continue and says he came here to watch Hogan's retirement.

Rico is shown polishing his Tag Title Belt until Billy & Chuck enter and tell Rico not to get conformable with that title. Rico says he knows his belt is just a fluke and it kills him to wear it because it doesn’t t go with any of his clothes. He says Billy and Chuck deserve to be the champions, Rico says he will make it up to them.

In the back, Jericho finds Faarooq and says he doesn't want to fight tonight after HIAC and he wants to buy protection from him. Faarooq laughs and walks off. Jericho demands to know who his opponent is, Mark Henry comes out and says it’s a shame that Jericho s face will have to be busted up by him.

Edge & Maven vs. Christian & Kurt Angle
This was fun but I didn't like Maven being the main focus of the match. This also needed more time. The match ends when Christian attempts the Unprettier but Maven rolls him up while Angle and Edge are out of the ring. **

Rikishi vs. Reverend D-Von (w/ Deacon Batista)
NO! NO! NO!

Chavo is watching what Eddie did to Austin on Raw and cheering him on. Reporter Gregory Helms enters and talks to Chavo about the notes that Hurricane has been finding. Chavo says he doesn’t t need to leave any notes, that he is going to beat Hurricane in their match and take the title. Helms smells something and opens a locker. He finds another note saying "I'm not tall, and I'm not fat, but I left you a clue." It's beef jerky. "What is up with that?"

In the back, Triple H tells Marc Lloyd that there are no winners in a Hell in the Cell, just survivors. HHH says Lance Storm found out that HHH is the Game. He says his focus is not Storm or Jericho, but on becoming the Undisputed Champion again. Storm says that Triple H got lucky, but the lucks running out. Test comes up and kicks HHH in the face.

WWE Cruiserweight Championship: Chavo Guerrero Jr. vs. The Hurricane
No idea why Chavo is getting a title shot, seriously. Don't get me wrong it was fun with the short time, it lacked crowd heat and believable near-falls at the end. Hurricane wins after the "Overcast" *3/4

Stacy assure Vince that she was just "having a little fun" with Test earlier, Vince says that nothing can make him angry tonight. Jericho enters and complains about having a match tonight. Vince says that this is Jericho's opportunity to beat the World's Strongest Man!

Chris Jericho vs. Mark Henry
Mark without the Three Six Mafia song is just weird, even back then when Mark is in full on jobber mode. It just doesn't feel right. This was pretty decent with Mark using his strength to pound away on Jericho until Mark got cocky which allows Jericho to get a few shots in before Mark's strength kicked in. The match ends when Henry tosses him back in the ring and gets a chair. the ref takes the chair. Jericho takes his chair and whacks Henry in the back with it. He throws it out of the ring and Jericho picks up the pin. **

Hulk Hogan comes out for his farewell address and gets a huge ovation like usual. (Just ashamed he didn't get those huge ratings too 8D) He poses a bunch of times, rips of his shirt and takes off his sunglasses. Hogan says there is no doubt that he loves the crowd. He says he was born Terry Bollea in Augusta, Georgia but was raised in Tampa, Florida. He was a son of working class people, then one day 20 years ago he got into this business. Hogan says he had the honor and the privilege to perform in front of Hulkamaniacs. He says he had a blast the last 20 years-the time of his life. He says at Christmastime, his dad suffered his 6th stroke and died, and during 4 months of lying in a hospital bed, he showed no emotion except for when Raw and Smackdown were on. He said one day his dad tore the tube out of his throat and with his dying breath, he told Hogan to go back to wrestling and make his career right and to go back home to the WWF and the Hulkamaniacs. :hm: Hogan says that he is here and he couldn’t t have done it without all of the fans. And once again he thanks them. He thanks them for believing in him and thanks them for making him what he is today. Hogan says there is something else, he must also thank them for helping him take the biggest step on his professional career. He says there comes a time in every man’s life when he has to step down but Vince comes out. He says Hogan doesn't get to retire on his terms, and says he signed a contract and he's going to milk Hulkamania until Hogan dies. Hogan says one day he will retire, but not before he kicks Vince's ass. He punches at Vince, but Taker runs out and attacks him. Hogan battles back and knocks Taker over the top rope. Hogan celebrates in the ring by posing from the crowd. Vince shouts from the ramp that Hulkamania will die on his terms.

WWE RAW 05/27/2002
Edmonton, Alberta Canada

WWE Undisputed Champion: The Undertaker
WWE Women's Champion: Trish Stratus
WWE Intercontinental Champion: Eddie Guerrero
WWE European Champion: William Regal
WWE Hardcore Champion: Steven Richards

CHRIS FUCKIN' BENOIT makes a surprise appearance and gets the gigantic hometown reaction. He says "It sure as hell feels good to be back. A few months ago, he was drafted by Vince to be on Smackdown. But there's no way that they're going to pass through Edmonton without the Wolverine showing up. He's a few weeks from coming back, and proving that he is still the best damn technical wrestler in the world today. There's a good reason he's out here tonight." Suddenly Eddie Guerrero's music hits and Latino Heat comes to the ring, It's great to see you, says Eddie. He missed his homie. But mostly, he missed Benoit's jealousy. Benoit was always jealous of Eddie Guerrero, because he knew that, out of all the Radicalz, he's the one with the talent and charisma. But most of all, he's the only one with Latino Heat. Benoit's jealousy has always blinded him. He's always tried to hold Eddie back. But since Benoit left, Eddie is the Intercontinental Champion. He beat RVD, and then last week, he did what Benoit never could: laying out Stone Cold. Benoit congratulates Eddie on being the IC Champ. Benoit can't change that, but tonight, RVD can. As far as being a better wrestler than Benoit, tonight we'll find out if he can have a better ladder match than Benoit could. And as far as what he did to Austin, it takes a real tough guy to hit someone from behind and then run. Eddie says he'd like to hit Benoit right now. Flair's music hits and he comes down instead and says he let Benoit come out to hype up the crowd, and like a typical Canadian, he tries to start a fight. :lmao He says Austin isn't here According to JR, Debra had a family emergency, and Austin is not here. And even if he did come, Flair has a special welcoming committee just in case. But Benoit isn't benched like Stone Cold. But if he thinks Flair is going to let a Smackdown guy get it on with his Raw guys, much less the Intercontinental Champion, he's wrong. Unless Benoit has a ticket, he better get out of here. Benoit shoves Guerrero to the mat and forces him into a corner, while Flair screams for security. Benoit fakes a punch, stares at Flair and leaves on his own.

Regal and Molly are walking to the ring. Regal asks why Molly looks worried, and she explains that this will be her first time in the ring with Spike since they broke up. He was such a pervert. He tried to get to second base with her, but she wouldn't let him.

WWE European Championship or WWE Women's Championship: Trish Stratus & Spike Dudley vs. Molly Holly & William Regal
The rules are simple, it Molly Pins Trish she wins the title and if Spike pins Regal he wins the title. UGH! this needed more time , the match ends when Molly chokes Trish on the ropes, then slams her face-first. Two falling elbows by Molly. Molly yells at the fans, allowing Trish to hit the backslide for the win. Post-Match: Regal gives Molly a set of Brass Knucks, so she knocks Trish out with the power of the punch! *1/2

In the parking lot, Coach is standing by waiting for Austin.

In the back, Terri asks Steven Richards how Jazz is doing. He says that she has had a very serious knee operation, but is doing great. He's happy of how close they have become. Jazz is so cute and cuddly. Jacqueline comes up and questions his description of Jazz. She stomps on his feet and hits him with a microphone Jacky covers Richards as Charles Robinson runs in to make the count. Shawn Stasiak picks Jacky up and throws her off to the side and he tries to pin Richards but The Bossman comes in and pulls Stasiak off, Stasiak and Bossman brawl out of the area. Terri looks around and decides to cover Richards and win the WWE Hardcore Title! Richards immediately rolls Terri up to regain his championship! this fucking title :lmao

raw2.gif

Nash talks to the NWO. He says it's Show vs. Bradshaw and Hardyz vs. Booker/X-Pac, with no help from each other. If they win, they stay, if You lose your match, Nash kicks your ass. Booker complains about the lack of bass in his music. Nash tells him that if he wins, they'll make a remix for him. They all walk out, and we see Goldust was hiding and listening in a tub in the NWO bathroom.

raw3.gif

Booker T & X-Pac vs. The Hardy Boyz
X-Pac comes to the ring wearing Kane's mask. This was acceptable they did some stuff that was alright by nothing good really happens, Booker hits a scissors kick. then knocks Matt from the ring, while X-Pac hits the X-Factor and pins Jeff. Post-Match: Booker shoves Pac away and grabs a mic. He came here to give the people what they want to see. He tells them to play his music, and he hits the Spinaroonie. *1/2

In the back, Paul Heyman asks how Trish is doing. He sneaks into her room, only to find Bubba standing there waiting for him. He slammed Heyman back and forth into doors and says he's waited 8 years to say this. Shut the hell up. You talk too much. He tells Heyman to stay away from Trish and to tell Brock that he is the true Next Big Thing.

In the ring, Tommy Dreamer says he's just a normal guy. There's nothing different between him and us. Tommy spots a guy eating hotdogs. He goes to grab it, but they all fall on the floor. Tommy picks up the hotdog from the floor, wipes it on the floor to pick up the fallen mustard and starts to eat it. He gets back in the ring to talk about how normal he is, Suddenly The Undertaker comes to the ring. stares at Dreamer, who likes his fingers. Taker wonders about Dreamer being a normal, average guy. Taker is the WWE Undisputed Champion, and now Dreamer is on his time. He suggests that Tommy go to the back. Tommy starts to explain, but Taker cuts him off. Even Hulk Hogan didn't take up his time. RVD didn't take up Taker's time. So what makes this sideshow freak think he can take up the Undertaker's time? He tells Tommy to get the hell out. Tommy starts to leave, but Taker calls him back in. Taker says that, since he's here and Tommy's here, why not have an Undisputed Title match? Tommy jumps back in and says that he wants a shot. Taker says that he's not going to get a shot, because he's not worthy. There's a dressing room full of wrestlers in the back, and not a single one of them poses a challenge to him. But because he's a nice guy and since Tommy loves to entertain the people by doing disgusting things, here's one. Taker reaches out and grabs his tobacco spitting glass. He tells Tommy to drink it. Tommy says he can't do it. Taker says that he's not asking for him to do it, he's telling him. Dreamer says that it's too gross. Taker tells Dreamer to either drink the spit, or he'll be forever eating through a tube. Tommy takes the glass and as he's about to drink it , but Taker takes it back. Taker spits a huge wad of tobacco into the cup and hands it back to Dreamer. Tommy drinks it down and says that it's pretty good. Taker turns around in disgust and then punches Dreamer in the face. He pulls Tommy up and tosses him out of the ring. On the outside, Taker gets a chair, puts it around Tommy's head, and rams it into the steel post. Taker gets a mic and says that that is disgusting.

raw5.gif

In the back, Heyman pumps up Brock by saying when Bubba attacked him earlier, he was attacking Brock and he thinks Brock isn't man enough to take him out.

Brock Lesnar (w/ Paul Heyman) vs. Bubba Ray Dudley
This was fun, BROCK! power offence was on full here and he just threw Bubba around like a lightweight, it was just beautiful. As for Bubba he was good in this too with his brief flurry of offense which stunned Brock at times. The match ends when Lesnar leaps at Bubba, who ducks and Lesnar smashes into Heyman! Bubba gets the Bubba-Bomb on Lesnar for a 2 count but Heyman trips Bubba up, allowing Lesnar to hit the F-5 for the win. **1/2

Coach is waiting for Stone Cold, but finds Raven instead. Raven says that it's not Debra's family that is having the emergency, but Austin himself. No matter how he sneaks up to the mirror, his tortured, tormented soul still reflects. This is his destiny, and Raven feels his pain.

The Big Show vs. Bradshaw
Short and to the point, kinda like a squash match.

In the back, X-Pac is celebrating the NWO's victories. Booker says that even a ratty little sucka like X-Pac can win tonight. Goldust comes in sporting an NWO shirt and black-and-white face paint. X-Pac yells at him for disrespecting the colours. Booker T says he looks like a weird Oreo, and X-Pac says he's gonna go tell Kev' Booker calls him a stooge.

RVD Congratulates Terri for winning the Hardcore title. Terri asks if Rob has any trepidation about tonight's ladder match. Rob wonders what that big word means. He says that ladder matches are fun. When it comes to climbing the ladder of success, nobody gets higher than R-V-D.

Goldust vs. Crash Holly
SQUASH! Post-Match: Kevin Nash's music hits and Nash struts slowly to the ring :lmao Goldust slides out of the ring. Nash beats up Crash and gives the NWO hand sign, Goldust gives the NWO hand sign back to Nash. Nash is not impressed.

In the back, Guerrero expresses his worry about getting hurt in the ladder match, he also says he's worried about Austin showing up! Flair reassures Eddie that if Austin comes tonight or tries to interfere, he has the welcoming committee in place.

Ladder Match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship: Rob Van Dam vs. Eddie Guerrero
This match was FUCKIN' AWESOME! This match is definitely one of the best in Raw's history. Eddie and RVD were having great matches at this time and this was probably their best. This match saw both men take an insane amount of high risks and bruising moves including a sunset flip powerbomb from the top of the ladder. And seeing how I got the original TV one I got to see when that fan comes into the ring and Eddie beat him up. This was clearly one of the very few highlight minus the Booker/Goldust stuff that Raw had during 2002. This would have had a higher rating if RVD didn't fall off the ladder during the frogsplah and if that fan didn't push Eddie off a ladder too, I hope that fucker got RAPED in jail. ****1/4

raw6.gif
raw6a.gif
raw7.gif

Post-Match: Eddie hits him with the ladder and knocks him to the outside. The glass breaks and Austin runs down to the ring, beating the hell out of Eddie. Flair and Arn run down, only to get beat down. Back bodydrop to Flair. Benoit jumps the barrier and gets in the ring to force Eddie out, but then clocks Austin from behind! Benoit is beating up Austin! :mark: Snap mare by Benoit as Eddie goes up top for the Frog Splash! As Benoit and Eddie stomp on Austin, Flair and Anderson laugh from the ramp.

WWE Undisputed Champion: The Undertaker
WWE Women's Champion: Trish Stratus
WWE Tag Team Champions: Rikishi & Rico
WWE Cruiserweight Champion: The Hurricane

WWE Tag Team Championship: Rikishi & Rico vs. Billy & Chuck
So terrible that it hurts, Rikishi is basically beating them single-handedly but Rico keeps running in and kicking Rikishi0, so he ends up superkicks Rico, who falls on top of Chuck for the win. Post-Match: Billy and Chuck confront Rico in the ring. Rikishi celebrates outside the ring with his little dance.

Backstage Hogan enters the arena. Elsewhere Torrie gave Maven a good luck kiss, and the two leave the area and Tajiri pops out from behind a window :lmao

sd1r.gif
sd2t.gif

Christian vs. Maven
This was too short to mean anything, and just seemed like an angle advancement for a potential Tajiri feud. The match ends when Maven climbs the ropes but Tajiri runs down and kicks Maven in the head! Christian capitalizes on the situation by using the Unprettier on Maven and picked up the pin. *1/4

In the back, Vince is on the phone He talks about Chris Benoit on Raw. Vince said since Benoit was inactive he could be on any show he wants even though he was drafted by Smackdown. In the middle of the conversation Dawn Marie comes in. Vince asks who she is. She says she is a paralegal from law firm and has some papers she wants him to look over. She says she was sorry for bothering but had to because Stacey wasn't there. Vince begins to slobber over her in the absence of Stacy, but Chris Jericho enters the room and complains about having a match tonight. He says he is still hurt from the hell in a cell match. Vince says he knows Jericho is tougher than Triple H and can beat Faarooq tonight since Triple H has a match as well.

Chris Jericho vs. Faarooq
Jericho in the GOAT Pink/Black attire :mark: and apparently the Video is fast forwarded so I miss the whole match. AHHHHHHHH!

D-Von is approached by Lance Strom. They go into a shower room so Storm can use it as a confessional room. Storm says he has sinned. He says his sin is worse than adultery and worse than being American. He says his terrible sin is being western-Canadian. :lmao D-Von exclaims that this is horrible. He forgives him, and says that the D-Von Building Fund needs a donation. So Lance pays up.

In the back, Hogan says it was a turning point in his life. He said as he poured his heart out he didn't know how the fans would react. He said he wanted to bow out gracefully. Bu then Vince came out and thought he owned Hogan because he had a contract. Hogan says Vince can stick the contract where the sun doesn’t t shine. Hogan says he will retire but not yet. He says he has new priorities set now because he wants a one on one confrontation with Vince in the ring. He says it means more to him than the Undisputed Title. Vince comes up and asks what Hogan is going to do. Angle comes from nowhere and assaults Hogan from behind with a pipe and Hogan sells like only he can.

WWE Undisputed Championship: Randy Orton vs. The Undertaker
Taker gets on the mic to explain why he is giving Orton a chance at the title. He says as the champ it’s his duty to show how the WWE is the land of opportunity. He says tonight a 3rd generation wrestler, a hell of an athlete, and nice guy will get a shot at the title. He says he couldn't think of a better place full of history and tradition. He calls Calgary the Championship City of the world. He asks what better place to defend the title than Calgary. Randy Orton comes out. The match begins with Taker extending his hand. He and Orton shake. :hm: I must admit this was good even a green Orton and a "average" Taker have chemistry I like that they stuck with the basic story of cocky veteran vs. Young and hungry up and comer. Orton had some nice flurry of moves and sweet counter which really frustrated Taker and made him lose his cool and finally resort to cheap tactics like remove the corner turnbuckle. The match ends when Taker hits a sweet choke slam, post-match: Taker grabs a chair and wraps it around Orton's head but Triple H runs down and attacks Taker he slams his face into the announce table and then into the ring steps and back in the ring. Undertaker fought back, but Triple H threw Taker over the tope rope and grabs the misc. He says He wants the opportunity for the Championship. He says he guarantees that if Taker gave him the chance, Taker wouldn't leave with the title. He then threw the belt at him. **1/2

The Hurricane & Billy Kidman vs. Tajiri & Chavo Guerrero
Match had a nice structure with some crazy spots. Kidman used the SSP to the outside :mark: the match ends when Hurricane was about to go for Huttri-chokeslam on Tajiri. Hurricane s music sounds and on the screen is a message for him which said "You're wondering who I am, well this is just a peek, the mystery will be over, when I reveal myself next week." Also was a photo of Hurricane with some woman. The woman s head and body was ripped off in the photo. Hurricane was distracted long enough for Tajiri to kick him in the face and cover him for the pin-fall. **1/2 - **3/4

sd3.gif
sd4.gif

Triple H vs. Test
Man these two really don't have chemistry together at all, the first part of the match was just Triple H beating the shit out of Test like he's been doing since 1999 Lance Storm comes out to the stage and distracts HHH for a moment which allows Test to takes over with his shitty offense, the match continues and Lance keeps getting involved trying to help Test but Triple H kept fighting them off. The match ends when Test goes for the BIG BOOT but hits Lance Storm instead! and Triple H goes for the pedigree AGAIN but Undertaker runs down so Hunter breaks the hold and goes after the Undertaker but he jumps off the apron Triple H turns around and is hit with test's BIG BOOT in the face and covers for the win. HOLY SHIT! It's nice to see Triple H putting another guy over for a second week, even if it did take 3 guys again. Post-Match: Taker enters the ring and beats the crap out him and hits the chokeslam. Taker goes to the outside and gets a steel chair and smashes Triple H in the head with the chair and continues the assaults until Johnny Ace, Fit Finlay and other officials run down to help.

Val asks Edge to take that wig off of Kurt Angle, Edge says he thinks everybody in Calgary wants to see Angle's bald head. Val says "I'd wish ya luck, but luck is for losers..."

The Hart Family is shown sitting in the front row

Steel Cage Match: Kurt Angle vs. Edge
So fuckin' good it's probably their best together. I love the great blade job by Edge, and they did a ton of great spots with the cage as a weapon, with each spot being more brutal than the last. The only real thing that puts me off is Kurt winning cleanly with the ref down, only for Hogan to run down, attack him, and roll him back in. It just seemed like a face move E.G. it worked with the HHH/Kurt cage match when Steph did it. Anyways, they fought for a bit more with some real good near falls and the crowd got super-hot for it. The match ends when Edge hits a spear from the top rope on Angle and covers him for the pin. Post-Match: Hogan then gets into cage with Angle. Hogan motions that he is going to pull of the wig. But Angle gets out of the Cage. Edge and Hogan pose in the cage as Smackdown ends. ****

WWE Hardcore Champion: Steven Richards

Backstage, we see Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, Eddie Guerrero, and Chris Benoit talking backstage. Flair tells Arn that if Austin shows up, to tell him they are in the ring. Flair, Eddie, and Benoit walk off with at least 20 security guards following them.

Flair, Benoit, Guerrero with Security come to the ring.
Flair says he loves it when a plan comes together, and Benoit says he paid Austin a visit last week because Austin is why he can't wrestle, and he's waited almost a year to get payback. Benoit had a whole year sitting at home with a whole lot of time and patience, and now he has run out of both. Last week was the beginning of a long and painful payback for Steve Austin. Guerrero takes the mic and starts speaking Spanglish but then says he felt like less of a man for losing the title, but Frog Splashing Austin made the Latino Heat come back. Flair says that Austin probably wants to wrestle tonight in Texas, but that isn't going to happen because Austin's STILL benched! Suddenly Stone Cold comes on the big screen and is holding up a beaten Arn Anderson. He doesn't care who he gets, but he wants Benoit or Guerrero, or else he will do to Flair what he did to Arn Anderson. Flair says that Austin's not going to bully him into making decisions. He says Guerrero is already in a match, and Benoit is not medically cleared yet, and besides, Benoit is still property of Smackdown. Austin wonders if he should listen to everything Flair says because he is Ric Flair. Austin says if Flair won't give him Guerrero or Benoit, he should make in Ric Flair vs. Stone Cold, right here in Texas. Austin says if he wins the match, he gets to be off the bench, competing full-time, and if he loses, Austin is back on the bench. Flair asks if Austin wants to wrestle the 16-time world champion. Flair says ok, he can wrestle The Man, less than one condition: it's going to be an old-time wrestling match, not a saloon bar fight. If Flair beats him by a 3-count, makes him submit, or if Austin gets DQ'ed, Austin is on the bench for the rest of his life. Austin asks Flair what exactly is the Nature Boy. Does he like Nature? Does he like Boys? Austin inexplicably stomps Arn a few more times. Austin has been drinking beer all day, and he'll be damned if nature isn't calling right now. It appears as if Austin urinates on Arn Anderson and says it's better to be pissed off than pissed on. UGH!

WWE Hardcore Championship: Steven Richards vs. Bradshaw
Jacky is the referee so it looks like she's going to give this ref school another shot, good for her. Bradshaw pretty much beat him up Hardcore squash style, midway through the match Bradshaw brings a cowbell into the ring and nails Richards in the head with it, he also finds some bull rope, a saddle, and a set of bullhorns under the ring! Spike Dudley comes down to the ring and heads to the top, but Bradshaw kicks him off. Bradshaw then lands a Clothesline from Hell and wins the Hardcore title! Justin Credible comes down, but Bradshaw boots him down and then places a trash can over his head and starts beating him. Crash comes down as Bradshaw's music plays, but he hits Crash with a big boot on the outside of the ring. *1/4

Booker T & X-Pac are bickering but Kevin Nash tells them to shut up! he's got a very important announcement to make tonight. Kevin Nash says X-Pac & Booker T both have KOTR qualifying matches tonight but Goldust enters impersonating The Coach :lmao Goldust asks Kevin Nash if he's going to announce that Goldust is in the NWO? Booker T suggest that if Goldust beats X-Pac tonight, he's in, and X-Pac is out. Nash says ok, and everyone leaves X-Pac there pissed.

KOTR Qualifying Match: Goldust vs. X-Pac
Pac is still wearing Kane's mask. Goldust was great in this and made all of Pac's half ass'ed shitty offense somewhat look good the match goes back-and-forth for a couple of minutes until Goldust hits some punches in the corner, then a foot choke on X-Pac. Goldust hits the Bronco Buster instead, enjoying it quite a bit. He goes for it again, but X-Pac kicks him in the groin and then hits the X-Factor for the win. **

We see clips of the awesome ladder match from last week between RVD and. Coach congratulates RVD on his title victory last week. RVD says he would go through it all again for the belt. RVD says last week was the start of something good, and the start of the Summer of RVD. Heyman and Brock walk up, and RVD makes fun of Paul. He tells Brock its okay, because RVD knows that Paul Heyman made RVD, and tonight in Brock/Eddie vs. RVD/Bubba :mark:, he's going to show him all about the Next Big Thing.

Matt finds Jeff strumming on the guitar, Jeff says they don't live for the moment, and they're definitely not extreme. They're hypocrites. Matt says he doesn't understand. Jeff says Matt will see, and walks off. I play guitar too, and I'm not extreme either. :lmao

Flair is backstage with Arn Anderson, the security guards, and a lawyer, saying he wants more stipulations added to the match tonight. Flair says if he wins tonight, Austin becomes his personal assistant. "Wash his car, mow his lawn, wear a dress, Austin has to do it all" Flair says it has to be a 'wrestling' match and that if Austin throws ONE punch, he's DQ'ed. Austin walks in the room asking if Flair has the contract. Austin signs the contract without reading it, saying all he needs to know is if he wins, he's off the bench. He watches as Flair signs the contract too. Austin asks if the lawyer is proud of himself and his contract. Austin gets handed a copy of the contract, as Flair smiles. Austin wonders why, and Flair tells him he'll find out soon enough.

We see Trish Stratus on her way to the ring for her lingerie match tonight.

Lingerie Match: Trish Stratus vs. Terri
Trish Stratus makes her way out in a bra, panties and her coat. Terri comes out next wearing a bra and panties as well. Good times. They do some stuff I wasn't really watching the match Trish hits the Stratusfaction to end a match. Post-Match: Molly comes in to attack Trish with the brass knuckles, but Trish turns around and hits her with the Women's title belt and stripped out of her panties into a thong beneath, and threw her panties onto Molly.

ARN is pissed expresses his anger for Austin humiliating him by urinating on him, he tells Benoit that he's gonna enjoy watching Flair beat Austin. Austin will pay Arn says that Flair has a bunch of toilets at his house and he hopes that he's there to watch Austin clean it. Benoit says that the irony of the situation is that Austin is about to flush his whole career down the toilet.

Eddie Guerrero & Brock Lesnar vs. Rob Van Dam & Bubba Ray Dudley
FUCK YEAH! this was good, Eddie and Brock controlled the majority of the match beating the shit out of RVD, Brock delivered a bunch of awesome power moves to RVD, and he even took a great German Suplex from Bubba but I'm not gonna lie Brock did look lost when all hell broke loose towards the end. The match ends when RVD goes for the Five Star Splash, but Heyman knocks him over allowing Brock to hit the F-5 on RVD. Bubba comes running in and takes Brock out of the mix but this allows Eddie Guerrero to hit his frog splash for the win. ***

In the back, Regal cuts a promo saying he represents WWE better and he's royalty but Booker interrupts him and says that if anyone is gonna be king, it's him. Regal says that Booker T can't even spell king. Booker T then talks about George Washington and how he outdueled the King of England. Booker leaves and Regal says that apparently Booker didn't read the full history but Booker comes back and says sucka and then leaves again.

KOTR Qualifying Match: Booker T vs. William Regal
too short for me to get into, they did some nice back-and-forth stuff but it ended as it started getting interesting. I should mention during the match JR says What's wrong with King Booker? so Lawler reply’s That sounds stupid, that does not roll off the tongue. :lmao The match ends when Booker gets hung up on the top rope, so Regal heads to the outside and throws in his belt and grabs a chair but the referee stops him, allowing Booker to grab the belt and hit him with it for the 3. Post-Match: Booker T grabs a mic and says that he came here to give the people what they want. spinaroonie! *1/2

In the back, Coach asks Tommy how he's feeling about his match with Taker tonight, Dreamer says that he's not feeling well ever since he found out that he has to wrestle Taker tonight. He says that he hasn't been able to keep any food down and ends up showing Coach a bucket full of vomit. Coach says that he'll be feeling a lot worse once he sees footage of what Taker did to Triple H on Smackdown! Coach asks for Dreamers reaction to that so Dreamer pukes in the bucket :lmao

WWE Undisputed Championship: The Undertaker vs. Tommy Dreamer
Dreamer brings his bucket to the ring and throws up once more at ringside. He takes a handful of the vomit and puts it in his mouth! DA FUCK! Dreamer attacks Taker with a mouthful of puke. That doesn't last long as Taker sends Dreamer back into the ring where he proceeds to destroy Dreamer in one of the corners. Not too long after that, Undertaker hits a chokeslam followed by three elbow drops. Cover, but Taker pulls Dreamer up at two. Dragon sleeper by Taker results in a submission victory. Post-Match: Taker throws Dreamer to outside, then grabs the bucket of vomit and pours it all over Dreamer's face. As Taker stands over watching, Jeff Hardy sneaks up from behind and dropkicks Taker right into Dreamer and the puke. DUD!

raw4.gif
raw5.gif

Matt Hardy is on the phone and Taker comes in. He asks for Jeff, and Matt said he just left. Taker says to give him a message and he kicks Matt in the face. He throws him into the wall and punches him a ton, before throwing him into a bunch of pipes.

Kevin Nash makes his way down to the ring and takes the mic and says that a lot of times in this business, surprises never live up the hype. Tonight he promised to deliver something that would rock WWE's foundation. There's a new member in the NWO and without further ado he introduces him: Shawn Michaels! The Heartbreak Kid makes his way out to his old music sporting an NWO t-shirt. Shawn & Kevin perform their famous high five in the middle of the ring and hug.

raw6.gif

In the back, Austin is getting ready and Debra is looking over the contract. She says it must have been done in a hurry, as it states that the loser of the match must become the winner's assistant. When Austin realizes this, a smile comes across his face and he leaves.

Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Ric Flair
This was better than I expected. Austin replaced his punches with chops, and they teased the punching rule several times. Flair also got a lot of cheap stuff in. Benoit distracted the ref as Eddie ran down to hit Austin with a Frog Splash before the break, anyway Flair, Benoit and Eddie's heel tactics was great in this they do a lot of cool reversals that I haven't seen in a while, man even if Flair was in lack of confidence mode here he didn't show it at all. The match ends when Flair does another thumb to the eye and an inside cradle but Austin kicks out. Austin then throws in a backslide but Flair kicks out. They chop away and another thumb to the eye sends Austin back. Irish whip by Austin, kick and then the Stone Cold Stunner which gets the 3. Flair is now Austin's personal assistant. See, now if Flair & Austin can go 15 minutes without a single punch, I wonder if other can do it too. ***1/4

Christian, Val Venis, Randy Orton, Hardcore Holly, Hurricane, Albert, Lance Storm, Test, Mark Henry, Rev D-Von, Deacon Batista, Farooq, Godfather, Billy Kidman, Al Snow, Chavo Guerrero, Hugh Morrus are already in the ring as Smackdown comes on the air then Triple H, Chris Jericho, Kurt Angle, and Hulk Hogan come out with their own entrances. Vince says there's a battle royal right now with the winner facing the WWE Champion at KOTR.

#1 Contenders Match: Battle Royal
It's a battle royal so it was full of punches, kicks and holding each other up against the ropes. A bunch of jobbers get eliminated and the final 6 guys in the ring were HHH, Angle, Hardcore Holly, Hogan, Test, and Jericho. Holly soon knocked Angle out of the ring. Test hit a big boot to Hardcore, knocking Holly out of the ring. Hogan eliminated Jericho and HHH eliminated Test. This left Hogan and HHH to battle it out. HHH went for a clothesline to knock Hogan out of the ring but HHH went over the rope with him. The officials couldn’t t decided whose feet touched the ground first. Both men claimed that they had won the match.

Vince says that he called the Undertaker during the break and asked him who he would like to face. He said that the Undertaker didn’t t care who he would face. Vince said the two men would fight again tonight to decide who will face the Undertaker. Hogan and HHH went after each other in the ring.

In the back, Angle says that a WWE Legend was screwed and an icon just got screwed. He is then asked who he thought won, HHH or Hogan. Angle responds by saying he was talking about himself then asks if its screw Angle month? Angle says just like being screwed in the cage match that he had with edge when Hogan put him back in the cage, Hardcore Holly screwed him in the ring tonight. Hardcore comes over and tells him to shut up, and says that if he stresses out too much he might "lose his hair" Angle says that remark was funny, Angle said it wouldn't be funny for Holly to face him in a match. Hardcore accepts.

Rico finds Billy & Chuck and they're mad at him. He says their complexion is awful, and Chuck's robe is stained. He asks about Billy's zit, and pulls down the back of Billy's trunks to show his ass, and they argue about Billy Gunn's ass zit. Billy says they have one more title shot in an Elimination Match next, and if they don't win, they'll hire a new stylist.

Elimination Match for the WWE Tag Team Championship: Billy & Chuck vs. Rico and Rikishi
Rico and Rikishi argue over who should start. Chuck drop toeholds Rico and gets him in some sort of submission and Rico taps out. Rico is eliminated like 10 seconds into the match, they do some awful shit and Rikishi hits the Pop-Up Cutter to eliminate Billy. Rico keeps running interference and hits Rikishi with a Spinning Heel Kick. Chuck hits the Superkick then and Rico pushes Rikishi's foot off the ropes during the count, allowing Billy & Chuck to regain the titles. 3/4*

Backstage Hurricane finds another note: "You think I'm a witch? I flew in on my broom. If you're looking to find me, I'm in your locker room." Hurricane says of course, where else would she be.

Hurricane goes into his locker room and finds Nidia! Nidia mocks him by saying "stand back there’s a hurricane coming through." Hurricane says that she is the last person he needs to see. Nidia says that that is no way to greet her. She asks what about first ever Tough Enough Champion or the best sex ever? Hurricane says it has been over between him and her. He says she is a "hurri-bitch." Nidia says Hurricane is done being the Cruiserweight Champion. She says her boyfriend will take care of him. Jamie Knoble comes in and kicks Hurricane down and pummels him in the corner. Knoble says that Hurricane better not forget him. KNOBLE RULES!

KOTR Qualifying Match: Val Venis vs. Christian
Short and to the point, but I have no idea why Val went over he's been irrelevant since the RTC angle and tbf not a single fuck was given about him since '99 so that upset me. But as much as I dislike Val's reverse Figure Four was pretty sweet. Christian tries for the unprettier but Val counters with a swing out power bomb for the win. **1/4

Vince is on the phone talking about Hogan and HHH to Undertaker. Jackie and Linda from Tough enough enter the office. They introduce themselves. Ivory comes in and yells at them for bothering Vince. Ivory yells at them some more. Ivory says that they are lucky that tough enough is over. Linda gets in Ivory s face and says Tough enough is over. Linda then apologizes to Vince. Vince says that WWE is full of opportunity and on Velocity, Ivory and Linda will face each other in a match.

Kurt Angle vs. Hardcore Holly
I don't understand the booking of this for the past 2/3 weeks Orton has pinned him and Holly hasn't really done anything against him so why would you book Holly to look super competitive against one of you better main eventers? So Holly can come close to beating one of your top guys but not a rookie. Anyway the match wasn't bad at all due to Kurt's bumping, the match ends when Holly tries to kick him, but Angle rolls him up for a pin-fall by using the ropes. Post-Match: Holly goes after Angle and gets him with the Alabama slam. Holly went to rip off Angle's wig but he gets out of the ring and gets the ring bell. Holly hits Angle with the ring bell. **1/2

Edge comes down to the ring with his arm in a sling. He gets on the mic, and says in his 9 years in the business, up until now he's been lucky about injuries, until now. Oh man you have no idea. Edge says that finally the company put the ball in his hands and he can’t hold onto it he also says that he would perform that SPEAR off the top rope again if he could. It also kills him that he cannot defend his King of the Ring crown. Edge says he has to forfeit his King of the Ring qualifying match tonight vs. Y2J. Suddenly Y2J's music hits and out comes Chris Jericho; he says Edge makes him sick! And so do all the jackasses in the arena. He mocks Edge's injury, and not being able to defend his King of the Ring title. Jericho says he is mad that he can’t beat the living hell out of Edge tonight. Jericho says since he is the King of the World, he can be the King of the Ring as well. Jericho says he wants Edge to raise his hand in victory. Jericho says that the forfeit makes Jericho the winner and Edge the loser. Edge punches him in the face. Jericho gets up and hits Edges injured shoulder. Jericho whips edge into an exposed steel barricade. Jericho uses edge sling to choke edge. Then Jericho takes off the sling. Jericho mocks Edge, asking if his shoulder hurts, Jericho whips Edge into the steel steps. Jericho gets a chair and whacks Edge s shoulder with it. Jericho stands up and exclaims that he is the king of the World. Val Venis runs down and attacks Jericho throwing him out of the ring.

Backstage, Dawn Marie goes up to Stacey. Stacey says that if Dawn Marie has papers for Mr. McMahon then they need to go through her. Dawn Marie said that Vince said she could bring them. Stacey says that the rules have changed. Stacey tells Dawn Marie she needs to button up her blouse. Dawn Marie tells Stacey that she is just jealous and Stacy takes the forms and goes into the office.

Backstage Lance Storm tells Billy Kidman that he is boring and dull. Kidman says that he appreciates hearing that from Storm because Storm is so exciting in the ring. Kidman says that Storm has the best haircut in all of the WWE. :lmao

Lance Storm vs. Billy Kidman
This didn't have must of a story two it, is was just 2 going out and have a great 3 minute match doing a bunch of cool shit. **3/3

Mark Lloyd asks Triple H about his match with Hogan tonight, they replay when Undertaker beat up on HHH with a chair last week. The interviewer says that the doctor says that HHH only has 30% range of motion in his arm. He says that a great icon Triple H must go up against the icon Hogan. Triple H walks away.

#1 Contender's Match: Triple H vs. Hulk Hogan
This was better than the Backlash match but let’s be honest anything they do would be better than that match. This was pretty much just here to give Triple H his win back, thankfully this only lasted 6 minutes Triple H win after hitting the pedigree. Post-Match: Triple H tries to help Hogan up but Hogan shrugs him off so he leaves the ring and walks up the ramp. Hulk gets on the microphone and tells Triple H to get his ass back here, Hulk says that he doesn’t mind shaking the hand of the better man so they shake hands and hug. Hulk goes to leave but Triple H pulls him back into the ring and says that he and Hulk still have some unfinished business. Triple H and Hulk Hogan pose for the Smackdown! Crowd. Suddenly Kurt Angle's music hits and the Undertaker sneak up attacks Triple H, Kurt Angle runs down and attacks Hulk Hogan. Taker chokeslams Triple H while Angle hits an AngleSlam on Hulk Hogan. Taker decides he's not done so he hits a Last Ride on Triple H **1/2

WWE Intercontinental Champion: Rob Van Dam
WWE European Champion: William Regal
WWE Hardcore Champion: Bradshaw

Ric Flair comes out to open the show and admits he lost last week and has to become Austin's assistant. He says he's not happy about it, but came here to take it like a man, and was willing to do whatever Austin wanted, but Austin never showed up. Suddenly Vince McMahon's music hits comes down and gets on the mic. He says he knows that he's not supposed to be on RAW, but he created this show 10 years ago and Flair is the sorriest thing he's seen in his life. "Quite frankly, what you've done is taken this show Raw, a show that I created, and driven it right into the toilet." The crowd chanted "asshole" at Vince, who told Flair he "sucks" as an owner. Ric apologizes and asks Vince what he proposes they do about it, so Vince says that he does what he does for his own ego and he can't go another day with Flair owning 1/2 of what he created. Vince then proposes that he and Flair have a match tonight, No Holds Barred, for 100% ownership! Flair's response was "Well, let me tell you, you 'Nature Boy' Ric Flair wannabe, you got it, tonight." :lmao

Well things got better

NWO (X-Pac & Big Show & Booker T) vs. Spike Dudley, Shawn Stasiak & Tommy Dreamer
This was basically a squash match for the NWO. A shot aired of Chris "Harvard" Nowinski sitting in the crowd at ringside. He wore a Harvard sweater, but the announcers referred to him by his real last name. During the match, a backstage shot aired of Michaels and Nash watching the match from inside their locker room. Nash spotted the camera, stood up, and closed the locker room door. Post-match: Booker does the Spinarooni to a big pop.

Booker T is celebrating his win backstage, but Goldust ambushes him dressed as "Undercover Brother" Booker says he tried to get him in the NWO, but Goldust lost. Goldust says he wants Booker to leave the NWO, and Booker refuses and says he's in. Goldust says if Shawn is the same as he was, his days in the NWO are numbered because Shawn Michaels doesn't like 'their kind'.

Molly says that she now has a problem with Terri and has a problem with Terri's WWE Diva layout. Trish enters and tells Molly that she has a "FAT ASS" Molly challenged Trish to a non-title match for later in the show. Trish set the stipulation that Molly would get a title match if she won the match, but said Molly would have to pose in a thong if she lost, Molly walks away covering her butt.

raw1.gif

Backstage, Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit questioned Flair's decision. But Flair says he's been trying for weeks to strike a deal with Vince to get Benoit on RAW, Flair says Eddie needs to focus on his KOTR match vs. RVD. And says that everything will be all right.

WWE European Championship: William Regal vs. Bradshaw
Chris Nowinski is show sitting at ringside again, Bradshaw is now in the short trunks and cowboy boots but still has the APA theme. That did some stuff but it was more holds based than stiff striking like I was hoping. Late in the match, Chris Nowinski jumps the rail but Security tries to hold him back, as he tosses a set of brass knucks to Regal and he knocks Bradshaw out and picks up the win! Regal celebrated up the ramp with Nowinski, and they left together. *1/2

Trish Stratus vs. Molly Holly
Lawler spent the entire match making jokes about Molly ASS! As for the match I was acceptable but they've done better in the past. The match ends when hits the Molly Go Round off the tope rope for the win, Post-match: Molly pulls Trish's panties from last week out of her boot and chokes Trish with them. NICE!

Backstage, Arn Anderson who has his "RALPH SWAG" back enters Vince's dressing room. Arn conceded that Vince is a better businessman than Flair, but said Vince was making a mistake by gambling it all on Flair. Vince shoves ARN!! So ARN says he's going to go get ready for Vince's early retirement.

KOTR Qualifying Match: Rob Van Dam vs. Eddie Guerrero
Really good match here. Both men traded some real good moves in the opening minutes, but for some reason RVD wasn't selling like he would normally and his bumping was a bit off too. Guerrero took control of the match and worked over Van Dam for a few minutes, a sweet spot in this match was RVD hits Guerrero with a frog splash outside the ring. The crowd was flat until Van Dam made a comeback and hit a second rope moonsault. Moments later, Van Dam rolled through Guerrero's pin attempt and scored the win. A reply shows a controversial 1-2-3 count by the referee. **3/4

raw2r.gif

Coach tries to get a word with Shawn Michaels, Nash comes out and says they'll talk later.

The Undertaker comes down and gets on the mic, he makes a WWE Crew member hold the undisputed title up in the air. :lmao He says he is the WWE Champion and he deserves to be treated with respect, and even the stupid people of Atlanta should know that. Highlights aired from Smackdown of Taker attacking Triple H. Undertaker say that Triple H has to realize that there is blood in the water now and he is the great white shark. He says he's gonna kick Triple H's head off his body at KOTR, but other people need to learn about respect. Like Jeff Hardy. Footage of Hardy kicking Taker into a puddle of vomit shows, He says he knows Jeff is extreme and lives for the moment, and asks Jeff if he's also ready to die in that same moment. He says they can do this the easy where Jeff comes out and gets slapped around like the little bitch he is, Jeff shows him proper respect, and he allows Jeff to walk away. However, if h has to hunt Jeff down in the back, he will show Jeff a new meaning of pain. Matt Hardy comes to the stage with a ladder in his hands and says that last week Undertaker disrespected Matt Hardy. Taker says if he comes down, it'll happen again. Matt walks down with the ladder, but Jeff comes from the crowd and tries to attack Taker. But Taker hits a chokeslam on Jeff Hardy! Matt runs down and get involved, so Taker beats the living shit out of him too he sets Matt up for a last ride but Jeff clips Undertakers knee. The Hardy’s picked up the ladder Matt brought out and slammed it into Taker. Jeff eventually climbed the ladder and hit the Leapfrog Legdrop.

raw3.gif

In the parking lot, Regal and Nowinski are leaving. Terri asks about their alliance and Regal puts over Nowinski as the only Harvard grad in the WWE. He says he was in the top 5 in his class, football captain, Jeff Hardy runs in and looks into the camera, "Plank remains unfilled -- Jeff Hardy". He jumps into a vehicle and drives off. Chris says that "it's just like Harvard in the summertime, NO CLASS!"

KOTR Qualifying Match: Bubba Ray Dudley vs. Brock Lesnar (w/ Paul Heyman)
BROCK! Debuts the GOAT theme :mark: This was short and to the point it was just like their match from 2 weeks ago. Early in the match, Bubba chased Heyman at ringside. Heyman ran away and dove behind the announcers' table, causing Ross to ask, "What are you doing, you idiot?" :lmoa Brock got the F5 to win. **1/4

raw4.gif

Vince McMahon is getting ready for his match, but Paul Heyman enters and says he hopes Vince wins back 100% ownership. Paul Heyman tells Vince to stop thinking about Steve Austin and think about the "NEXT BIG THING", afterwards.

Highlights aired from Confidential of The Rock saying, "The Rock is coming back to the WWE"

Shawn Michaels comes out, and he gets on the mic. Michaels posed as his old pyro exploded behind him. Michaels said wrestling is a funny business. He said when he was around, "The WWF... oops, WWE," they had a variety of comedy gimmicks. Michaels said he was the one real thing in the company. He starts talking about Wrestlemania 14, when the WWE passed the ball to Steve Austin. HBK says that Stone Cold has no problem stealing his spotlight and he has no problem with Stone Cold Steve Austin. Michaels then blamed the fans for turning their backs on him in favour of Austin. Michaels said he will never make the mistake of wrestling for the fans again. He says that he is not here to wrestle and "HBK" is dead, because all the fans killed him, there was one man who stood by him through every bit of it when everyone else hated him, and he brings out Kevin Nash and the NWO. Michaels said he couldn't be prouder of Nash. He recalled Nash debuting in WWE as his bodyguard and put him over for going on to become one of the biggest names in the business. Michaels said he sat at home watching Raw and felt that something was missing. Michaels says that the Big Show stands out, but that is what he loves about him! And that X-Pac is the most talented performer in the business today! :lmao :lmao :lmao :lmao :lmao :lmao Michaels and X-Pac Hug! Suddenly HBK SUPERKICK Booker T with the microphone. He says Booker tried to steal the spotlight from the NWO like Austin did from him and Rock did from Hunter and is the problem and nobody will ever steal the spotlight of the NWO again!

Winner Is 100% Sole Owner: Ric Flair vs. Vince McMahon
Did this really need 10 minutes? I'm guessing Flair is the babyface by default here due to it being in ATL and that Vince is an evil bastard and no one out boo’s him. Shitty brawling, Flair blading in a throwaway match (god bless that guy) this had no real big spots to make up for it. Vince is horrible on offense and controlled the match again, UGH! Vince threw a pair of the weakest clotheslines in wrestling history, and poor Flair sold both as if he'd been shot. Flair hit Vince with a pair of low-blows and locked him in the Figure Four. Arn entered the ring and got in Vince's face. Brock Lesnar entered the ring and ran off Arn Anderson. Lesnar dropped an elbow onto Flair, which broke the Figure Four. Lesnar left the ring as Vince covered Flair for the win. *

WWE Undisputed Champion: The Undertaker
WWE Women's Champion: Trish Stratus
WWE Tag Team Champions: Billy & Chuck
WWE Cruiserweight Champion: The Hurricane

As Smackdown comes on air we see 10+ security guards and a table set up in the ring, Vince came out and stands on the table. Vince says he put his life on the line on RAW, and he won! He said the winner would have 100% ownership of all WWE properties, he owns Smackdown, he owns raw, he owns it all. He says it’s only natural that he is so success, powerful individuals only become more powerful, rich people only become more rich, he says people like him understand their responsibilities to people like the less fortunate. Vince says we will start entertaining with the official contract signing for WWE Undisputed championship for the KOTR. Vince introduces the Undertake and he comes to the ring as Vince welcomes him with open arms. Triple H then comes out, Vince tells Triple H to cool his jets and behave like a gentlemen for once. The crowd begins a HHH chant. Undertaker sits down at the table and signs the contract, Vince tells Triple H to sit down and sign the document. But Triple H takes the chair and throws it out of the ring then looks at Undertaker and signs the document. Vince announce that it is official, Vince leaves the ring with half the security as Taker and the Game stare at each other than Taker attacks Triple H. the security guards hold Triple H back as undertaker pummels him. Taker boots Triple H out of the ring. But Triple H battles back by knocking down some security guards. He gets the sledge and gets in the ring but Taker runs away. Triple H gets on the mic and demands that Taker get back to the ring. He says that if Undertaker doesn't come back it's going to be a long night; he then throws one of the security guards into the ring and nails a pedigree on him.

As Smackdown returns Rico, Billy and Chuck are at the top of the ramp with steel chairs. Rico says that he has a match tonight. Chuck says that Rico has a match against Rikishi. Billy says what part of leave the Game doesn’t understand. Triple H says that he is glad Billy and his partner has found a new meaning to the phrase "suck it" :lmao but if they come to the ring they'll be suckin' on sledgehammer. Billy goes down to the ring but Triple H nails Billy with the sledgehammer, Chuck & Rico help Billy up and away from the ring. Triple H says that if Vince wants a show tonight, to send Taker to the ring, he says that if he doesn't get Taker, that he'll make sure there is no more Smackdown! Triple H says that you can't have a show without an announce table so he goes outside the ring and destroys the announce table with his sledgehammer. He breaks the hammer but picks up another one and continues the destruction. :lmao He gets on the mic and says you can’t have a show without monitors. So he destroys those too. A triple H point out that this is starting to cost Vince a lot of money, so he kicks the camera man and steals the $50,000 camera. As he is about to destroy the camera and Vince comes out. Vince announces Triple H & Hulk Hogan vs. Undertaker & Kurt Angle, Game says its fine but he has a message for Vince and Undertaker, he looks into the camera and says "See ya in hell deadman!". He breaks the camera with the sledge hammer and throws the pieces out of the ring.

That was 30 minutes long :lmao

Hurricane runs into Nidia backstage. Hurricane says why doesn't Nidia put those famous oral skills to test and tell him where her boyfriend is? Nidia says that Hurricane will soon meet her boyfriend, Jamie Knoble. Hurricane says to bring it on, Nidia then says that confrontation turns her on then LICKS Hurricane's face! Hurricane walks away disgusted.

KOTR Qualifying Match: Test vs. The Hurricane
This was a solid big-man vs. little-man match but nothing special. Test the finisher "test-drive" for the win. Post-Match: Jamie Knoble & Nidia come to the ring Knoble says that he bagged himself a real life super hero, he starts to slap Hurricane. Knoble holds Hurricane then Nidia unmasks Hurricane. Knoble puts Hurricanes cape on Nidia, then they kiss. *

KOTR Qualifying Match: Tajiri vs. Hardcore Holly
Holly wins, I don't wanna talk about it because he sucks.

Backstage Jericho is watching a video of himself beating on Edge. He says he is the king of the World. Val comes in and tells Jericho that he should feel good, he should be proud of himself, he should feel like the king of the world, larger than life. Val says that he's going to stick his foot in Y2Js ass!

Chris Jericho and Lance Storm vs. Val Venis and Billy Kidman
The Thrill Seekers are BACK! :mark: I really wish this would of gotten more time cause it was really enjoyable well except for when Val was attempting to do stuff. The match ends when Kidman hits the shooting star press on Storm but Jericho pulls the referee out of the ring. Jericho breaks it up. Kidman rolls up Storm for the three counts. But both wrestlers have their shoulders to the mat! Kidman lifts his arm at the last second to win the match! The replay shows that Storm also had his shoulder up but the decision stands. (How it is for the past 2 months refs have been missing calls, man this company is a mess) **1/2

Hogan says he couldn't be happier, about the main event tonight. But first things first, after the match with HHH, Hogan says he knows HHH will win the Undisputed title. Hogan says Angle handed him a whipping last week, but he did attack him from behind because Angle isn't man enough to face him in the ring. Hulk says that he and Kurt Angle have a lot in common, that are both American icons, both love red white and blue, both are former champions, both are bald. Hulk says that he lost his hair match to Mother Nature while Kurt lost his hair to Edge. Hogan says he wants a match with Angle at King of the Ring and he's gonna rip Angle's wig off tonight!

During the break Storm confronts the referee about the finish of his match (I think it was Brian Hebner) Hebner says he called what he saw. Storm asks how hard his job is. Storm asks if Brian Hebner is Earl Hebne' s son. Storm says his family had a habit of "Screwing Great Canadians". He says American see what they want to see. :lmao

Vince McMahon is on the phone complaining about the $50,000 camera Triple H broke. Angle comes in. Vince says Angle is looking good. Angle says he won’t be very soon if Hogan does what he says he is going to do. Angle says Hogan will pull the roots of his real hair out of his head. Vince stares at him. Angle asks if Vince if he believes it’s real. Angle offers to let Vince pull it. Undertaker enters the room and asks what is going on. Taker says he doesn't know about facing HHH in match because of the state of mind that the Game is in. Vince says it’s all about taking risks, saying he took the biggest one on Raw. Vince says tonight he thinks the Undertaker and Angle are a sure thing.

masturbation is a sin and you will go to hell for it.

Ivory & Jackie vs. Trish Stratus & Linda
This was solid but uneventful, Trish was bumping for all of Ivory & Jackie's moves though.

Vince is eating when Stacey comes in. Vince tells Stacy there is a side of him that she's never seen before and from now on she always refer to him as "Mr. McMahon" There is a knock at the door. Stacey offers to answer it. (Outside we see that it is Dawn Marie) Vince tells her not to Instead Vince kisses Stacey but clearly she doesn't like it.

Backstage, the Game is getting his elbow tapped up. Hogan is walking in a hall making his way to the ring, when he runs into The Undertaker. Undertaker says something but the audio on the tape is shit so I can't hear what he says. Thankfully we get a replay and we hear that Taker says "looks like you're in the wrong part of town!" :lmao Suddenly Kurt Angle runs up behind Hogan and attacks him! The two beat on Hogan and leave him lying on the floor.

Triple H vs. The Undertaker and Kurt Angle
I really enjoyed this for some reason, I guess I like Kurt and Taker just beating up on HHH and Triple H had small flurries of comebacks. The match ends when Triple H gets his sledgehammer and gets into the ring. He hits Taker with the hammer. The ref calls for the bell. Taker tosses Triple H out of the ring. But Triple H gets the sledgehammer again and continually hits taker with it. Angle comes up from behind and throws Triple H back into the ring and hits the Angle Slam on Triple H. Angle tries to leave by Hulk Hogan sneaks up behind throws Angle back into the ring! And Hogan & Triple H use Kurt’s head as a pinball, Hunter goes for the pedigree but Angle counters. So Triple H grabs Angle's tights and pulls them down, while Hogan rips off Angle's wig, revealing his bald head! Triple H pedigrees Kurt Angle and the show ends with Triple H & Hulk Hogan posing for the crowd. **1/4 - **1/2

WWE Undisputed Champion: The Undertaker
WWE Women's Champion: Trish Stratus
WWE Intercontinental Champion: Rob Van Dam
WWE European Champion: William Regal
WWE Hardcore Champion: Bradshaw

TONIGHT: Lesnar/Booker T and RVD/X-Pac in KOTR Quarterfinals, AND THE REAL STORY OF WHY AUSTIN LEFT THE WWE OH SHIT!

KOTR Quarterfinals Match: Rob Van Dam vs. X-Pac
RVD's foot was on here as he was kicking Pac from all different angles. X-Pac’s kicks were pathetic and he just seemed to be going through the motions here. The match ends when X-Pac dropkicks him off the turnbuckle and onto the barrier outside. As the ref checks on Van Dam, Booker T runs down and gives X-Pac the BookEnd! Van Dam regains himself and hits the Five Star for the win. **

We cut to a clip of Jim Ross' interview on Confidential, saying he never saw Stone Cold's leaving coming, and he still can't quite believe it, but Steve Austin won't be on the WWE anymore. JR saying Austin bailing was, to him, like John Wayne becoming a coward in a fight, and you'd never see it coming.

X-Pac is PISSED! About Booker's interference. HBK tells him that the night is young, but X-Pac wants to get Booker now. Nash says he has a plan, but X-Pac needs to calm down right now.

Vince McMahon comes down, and he gets on the mic. Vince confirms that Austin is done with the WWE, and Austin has a lot of explaining to do if he wants to come back. He says it happened the day after WrestleMania as well, but they were lenient. He stayed home for two weeks, claiming he was burned out. Vince says that in his mind, Austin owes an apology to every superstar in the locker room; Austin owes an apology to the company and to each and every fans. Vince doesn't know if Austin will ever come back to action. Last Monday, a number of officials attempted to speak to Austin, but he refused to talk to anyone. Eventually, he took a single phone call, from his good friend Jim Ross. JR pleaded with Stone Cold, telling him to simply come to the arena so they could discuss the matter. Austin disregarded these comments and never showed face. Vince says that Austin's actions are uncharacteristic and will never be forgotten. Now, the company must move on without Austin. They will develop new stars, new matches, and new attitude. For instance, this Sunday's King of the Ring winner will get an Undisputed Title shot at SummerSlam. Vince says that he's sure Austin wishes the WWE well. He also says thank you to Steve Austin for helping to build the WWE. "Thank you for the memories" Vince trades his microphone for a beer can, takes a sip, and leaves it in the middle of the ring. FUCKING AWESOME! If this was an angle I swear it would be the greatest thing ever.

Jeff Hardy vs. Raven
The Undertaker comes out and watches from the stage, they do some stuff for 3 minutes which was solid and surprisingly they didn't botch. Jeff Hardy wins after the Swanton bomb. *1/2

In the back, Goldust is dressed at the Duke of Gold and says that wishes to serve in his 'royal court' Booker says he wants King of the Ring, but nothing of Goldust. Goldust reminds Booker that he warned him about Shawn Michaels. Booker says that he WILL upstage the NWO. Goldust says that if the NWO get involved in his match, it will cause Brock Lesnar to be DQ'ed, and bring him one step closer to being King Booker. Now can thoust digest that?

Coach walks in on Molly using the thigh master, YES! Molly throws the thigh master away :lmao Coach asks Molly about Trish's comments about her "FAT ASS" Molly said she was offended, just like Trish was offended when she beat her last week. Molly says she's going to beat Trish tonight too! Coach suggests that maybe Molly wouldn’t be the "butt" of any more jokes. Molly slaps Coach!

Elsewhere Show was watching it on the TV and laughing when X-Pac complains some more about losing his match to RVD, Paul Heyman enters and says he is very sorry that X-Pac lost tonight, but it had nothing to do with Brock Lesnar. And with Vince's speech on the Undisputed Title shot, he hopes the NWO will not interfere in Brock's match. X-Pac says that sounds like a threat. Heyman says that it wasn't before, but now he's telling them to stay out of the match. Michaels gets in Heyman's face, but Brock moves Heyman out of the way and towers over Michaels. Nash moves Michaels and towers over Brock, but Brock does not stop staring so Heyman pulls him away.

Spike Dudley vs. Chris Nowinski (w/ William Regal)
SQUASH!

Ric Flair comes down and he got on the mic. He says last week sucked and admitted he let ownership go to his head, he became an asshole, and he made some bad decisions. Does he wish he still was an Owner? Yes. Is his life over? No. Flair looked at Hulk Hogan, and how he came back to win the Undisputed Title and now going on to face Kurt Angle. Does Flair want to have his last match as a loss to Vince McMahon? Hell no. Flair may have lost a half a step, but he's still two steps ahead of everyone in the back. So he signed a contract, and is now a Raw wrestler. He's going to prove that he has at least one more good run ahead of him. They used to say that he was the dirtiest player in the game, and before he hangs it up, he'll show Brock Lesnar how true that is. Suddenly the glass breaks and Austin's music hits, only to be replaced with Latino Heat's music, YES! Eddie makes his way out. Eddie tells everyone that they just heard that music for the last time. At King of the Ring, he was going to kick Stone Cold's ass. But no, no, no, that ain't gonna happen now. Does Flair realize what that match was? How hard he worked to get that match? And now Flair has the audacity to come out and claim he found himself and is coming back. Eddie doesn't think so. Austin left on Flair's watch. Eddie holds Flair responsible for not having the match of his life. As far as Eddie is concerned, Flair is a worthless piece of crap. Benoit's music hits, and he comes to the ring. Benoit asks who the hell Eddie thinks he's talking to. Flair has beaten the best wrestling has to offer. Benoit holds up the famous Four Fingers and asks if Eddie knows what it means. This man is 16-time World Champion, dedicating his life to the business. Eddie says that his whole family dedicated their lives to this business. Eddie dedicated his life to this business. No matter how many championships he won, he's still a loser. Flair claims to have one last run, but that run will be worse than his run as Owner. Flair says that if Eddie feels that way, how about he takes Austin's spot at King of the Ring? Eddie says that what he was going to do to Austin at King of the Ring, he'll do to Flair three times over. Benoit says that Flair is a legend, but more importantly, he took away Benoit's opportunity. Benoit was out for a year because of Austin. For one year, all he thought about was getting back at Austin. Like Eddie said, Austin left under Flair's watch. Flair punches Benoit back, but Eddie takes him down from behind. They stomp him down, and Eddie applies the Figure Four as Benoit screams at Flair and spits on him.

In the back, Nowinski introduces himself to Vince McMahon, but he has to take a quick phone call. Vince says his lookout at the airport, Tony Garea, is calling and "he" is on his way, Vince says he can only assume that he meant Steve Austin so he gathers arena security and warns them of Austin's arrival. Vince says to allow Austin into the building.

D'Lo Brown & Trish Stratus vs. Crash Holly & Molly Holly
This actually wasn't that bad, due to the short time it was given. The match ends when Trish spears Molly and they battle outside, while inside, D'Lo catches a leaping Crash in the Sky High for the win. Post-Match: Trish gets onto the apron, Molly pulls her off and smashes her into the announce table. *1/4

In the back, Vince is getting a camera crew ready to film Austin if he comes to apologize, and he flirts with Jackie Gayda.

Over at The World, Lita finds herself in a neckbrace but hosting the Raw party. Lita says that she wishes her boyfriend Matt good luck against the Undertaker, but she's learned that sometimes, it's not worth the risk.

The Undertaker vs. Matt Hardy
Undertaker makes his way out. Matt Hardy pumps himself up and runs to the ring. Low blow by Hardy to start, then a big boot. Taker clotheslines Matt down and legdrops on his neck. Taker looks for the Last Ride, but Matt fights out and DDTs for a 2 count. Taker drops Matt on the turnbuckle and slams him down for a 2 count but that is broken up by Jeff Hardy. Jeff pulls the ref out and attacks Taker. Matt pulls Taker down and Jeff goes up top, but Raven pulls Jeff off the turnbuckle. Big Boot to Matt, followed with the Last Ride and the win. Post-match: Raven tosses Jeff into the ring. He pulls out some handcuffs and cuffs Jeff to the ropes. Raven leaves, and Undertaker starts stomping away. Matt begins to get up, so Raven pulls him down and holds him, forcing him to watch Taker beating his brother up. GOOD SHIT!

Taker tells Terri that this was a lesson to anyone who thinks they can show him disrespect. The Undisputed Title means he is the best, so if anyone is watching, especially Triple H, they can bring it. Triple H can break all the tables and monitors he wants, but they don't fight back. He does fight back, and he hurts people.

Vince gets another call from Tony Garea, who says 'he is almost at the arena'

In the back, Paul Heyman compliments Earl Hebner and talks about how he respects all Hebner stands for. He tries to get Hebner to refuse to DQ Lesnar, but Hebner says not to tell him how to do his job. Hebner walks off and Heyman turns around and walks into Booker T. Booker tells him not to worry about Lesnar getting DQ'ed, but to worry about him getting his rookie ass whooped.

KOTR Quarterfinals Match: Booker T vs. Brock Lesnar (w/ Paul Heyman)
This was only like 3 minutes long :( Before the match starts, the NWO comes to ringside, Nash & Michaels join the announce team. Like 2 minutes in, Goldust comes down to ringside. Heyman yells at Goldust to leave the area so he knocks Heyman down to the ground. X-Pac tries to interfere but Booker knocks him off the apron! Big Show tries to interfere but Heyman holds his leg. This allows Lesnar to get the upperhand and hits Booker T with the F-5 for the win. Post-Match: Goldust enters and tries to help Booker, but the NWO enters the ring so Heyman & Lesnar leave. Big Show choke slams Goldust and then does the same to Booker T. *3/4

In the back, Slaughter comes in and tells Vince that his man Tony has just arrived. Vince says that that means Austin is coming very soon. Vince tells Slaughter to go to the parking lot and persuade Austin to come to the ring, because that's where he will be.

Vince has already entered the ring, and he waits for Austin to show up. He asks for a beer. He says that it's not for him, but for someone else. He's been told that Stone Cold is in the building. He will give Austin the opportunity to say whatever it is he wants to say to both Vince and the audience. Tony Garea runs down to the ring and whispers something to Vince. Vince asks Garea why he kept saying "he" if he didn't mean Austin? If it's not Austin, who is it? THE ROCK RETURNS~! huge ovation. Rock takes a mic and tells us that finally he has come back to Oakland. Vince looks a little surprised. Vince was expecting Steve Austin? Did he really think Austin would come here? It doesn't matter what Vince thinks! It was not Stone Cold. No it was the People's Champion, the Rock. The Rock is here to address the People, and only the People. The Rock forces Vince to leave the ring, and hurls the beer can at him. We all know The Rock is supposed to be on Smackdown. We all know The Rock isn't supposed to be back for another month. But because of what happened last week, The Rock is here now live. The Rock came into this business, wanting to be the best this industry has ever seen, and he will forever work for that goal. He sees that fire in every single Superstar’s eyes. Every guy gets out here and busts their asses. The fans love them for it, and they love to do it. "If there is anyone who does not want to be here, they can get the F out" If Vince is serious about making this company great, then Rock is ready to help him out. Rock is scheduled to be back July 11, but if Vince wants to move up, Rock wants to move up to this Sunday at King of the Ring. When the Rock is 80 years old, he'll still put in the People's Dentures and walk down the ramp, because he has this business in his blood. From his grandfather to his father to himself, this is his life. "Austin can take his ball and go home, but as far as the Rock is concerned, this is home. If ya smell what the Rock is cooking!"

WWE Undisputed Champion: The Undertaker
WWE Women's Champion: Trish Stratus
WWE Tag Team Champions: Billy & Chuck
WWE Cruiserweight Champion: The Hurricane

Kurt Angle comes out to open the show and gets on the mic. He says he knows everybody has been laughing at him, knows the guys in the back laugh at him, pointing every time he walks by. But this is no laughing matter; it's serious. What he has to say tonight is extremely difficult: he's bald. Not only that, he's been wearing a wig to cover it up. Ever since Edge shaved his head, he's been waiting for his hair to grow back. He's tried Rogaine, hair tonic, even fertilizer, but none of it works. Triple H and Hulk Hogan tried to make a joke out of him by exposing his naked head last week. The video plays Hogan's work, but it seems Angle had them censor out his head. :lmao But this is no joke. The real joke is Hulk Hogan. He's like a hundred years old, can't wrestle, and he wears red and yellow feathered boas! Angle's going to embarrass Hogan far more than Hogan did to him. And This Sunday, he's gonna make Hogan cry in the AngleLock. Not only that, Hogan will tap, tap, and tap out in the middle of the ring. And he won't stop there. Angle will keep going until he breaks Hogan's ankle. He'll break Hogan's ankle and his spirit. In front of all the fans, they'll see who gets the last laugh. It's true, it's damn true. Hogan's music hits and he comes down to the ring. Hogan says that this "100 year old man" will punk Angle out at King of the Ring and takes Angle's wig off again. Kurt begs Hogan to try to take the wig, so Hogan starts punching Angle. Big Boot by Hogan, who shows off his own bald head before pulling on Angle's wig. Angle low blows Hogan and runs up the ramp.

Dawn Marie tells Stacy that Vince McMahon entered her in the Lingerie contact, They overhear Torrie Wilson thanking the seamstress and she shows them her bra and panties, causing Dawn and Stacy to forget their own problems and complain about Torrie.

Rikishi vs. Christian
So this was given one and a half minutes and needed a dusty finish WHY? Seriously. Rikishi gets the Bubba Cutter for the pin but Christian’s leg was on the ropes. 5 straight TV shows in a row and they have Dusty finishes in mean-less match, let’s be honest we all know this is not gonna be a long term feud. AHHHHHH!

As we come back, Lance Storm and Christian are still in the ring. Lance says that the poor officiating we just saw was not a single act of incompetence. The same thing happened to him last week. This is a pattern of inherent prejudice towards Canadians. It's not just the officials: all the American wrestlers in the back are prejudiced too. This company has a history of Canadian prejudice. They've been screwing Canadians every chance they get. But it's not limited to the company, it's the fans too. America itself is prejudiced towards Canada and every other country in this world. Americans think they're better than Canadians, looking down their noses at Canadians. Americans think that, just because they're the most powerful nation in the world, they have the right to throw their weight around any way they see fit, never thinking of the consequences. Who in the hell do Americans think they are? There is a reason the rest of the world hates America. America deserves it. On behalf of the millions of non-Americans around the world: America sucks! (I take back some of what I said now, lol)

Mark Lloyd tries to ask Triple H a question, but Hunter cuts him off and says that he win back the Undisputed Title. Because he lives for the Undisputed Title. He talks about he and Billy Gunn being part of DX when Billy was known as Badass Billy Gunn, Mr. Ass. Actually, now that he thinks about it, maybe he's still Mr. Ass. But last week, he told Billy not to come, lest he get beaten with a sledgehammer. This week, he tells Billy not to come, lest he get his ass kicked. Triple H is ready if Chuck and Rico come to help out. He is going to King of the Ring; he will become the Undisputed Champion; he is the Game, and he is that damn good.

In the back, Nidia tells Jamie that she knows her man is going to win tonight, and then at King of the Ring. That makes her happy, and when she's happy, she makes him happy. Jamie wonders if Hurricane will even show up on Sunday, since he doesn't have his mask. Nidia says she's been keeping the mask in a nice warm place, pulling up her skirt to reveal her rather creative panties. :lmao

Jamie Noble vs. Billy Kidman
Noble is AWESOME here, I love that little midget Noble but the offense was mostly Kidman. The match ends when Kidman drags Noble to the corner and goes up top, but Nidia 'buckles him. Jamie picks Kidman up and DDTs him from the top rope for 3. Post-match: Nidia takes her mask panties off and straps the mask on Jamie's head. The lights go out, and Hurricane's music hits. A helm appears from behind Noble and chokeslams him down! Helms takes his mask back and storms up the ramp in victory. **1/4

sd1b.gif

Billy vs. Triple H
This fucking sucked, I don't wanna speak about it. Post-match: Rico comes in and yells at Triple H. The Game sets him for a Pedigree, but is attacked by Kurt Angle. Trips clotheslines Angle over the top, only to be attacked by The Undertaker himself. The Game comes back with a knee and he looks for the Pedigree. Kurt runs in with a chair and swings, but Triple H backs away and Angle nails the Undertaker. Angle runs away from the ring as Taker is pissed off!

Stacy says that she can't wait for King of the Ring because the Rock is gonna be there! Taker walks in PISSED OFF! and demands a match with Kurt Angle. Vince initially says no to protect the double main event at KOTR, Undertaker says he wasn't asking Vince he was telling him Vince says that no one tells him what to do, so it is his own decision that Taker can have the match.

KOTR Quarterfinals Match: Chris Jericho vs. Val Venis
Jericho carried the shit out of this match and made Val's offense look good. They even had a couple of awesome false finishes. The match ends as the ref is selling due to ref bump and Val goes to wake the ref, Jericho gets a chair. Val kicks it out of his hands and hits an awesome powerbomb but Jericho kicks out after 2, Jericho low blows Val and locks in the Walls, causing Val to tap out. **1/4

They play the entire Rock promo from Monday's Raw.

In the back, Angle complains to Vince about having to face Undertaker tonight when he has Hogan to fight in three days. Vince says that Undertaker demanded it. Vince gives Kurt Angle a bit of a pep-talk; reminding him of his accomplishments Stacy asks if Kurt is afraid of the Undertaker. And he says "Heck No!" In fact, all he's going to see is that hundred year old man in red and yellow. He's going to do to Taker what he's going to do to Hogan "break his ankle", Angle storms off.

KOTR Quarterfinals Match: Test vs. Hardcore Holly
NO! NO! NO! Post-match: Test cuts a promo saying the Next Big Thing is going to eat his next Big Boot, and he's going to be King and the new big thing here.

In the back, Vince had Taker and Kurt together and said he wanted a good clean match. They had words, and Kurt said Taker had a bad attitude. Taker said Kurt had a bad wig, and called him cue ball. Kurt dove at Taker with Vince in the way, and they had to be pulled apart.

The Undertaker vs. Kurt Angle
YEAH! this was good but not great, don't worry one year and one month from now they will arguable have the greatest Smackdown match of all time. They do, do some sweet counters to each others moves. The match ends when Taker looks for the chokeslam, but Angle shifts in the air and pulls Taker down, applying the AngleLock in the process! Angle holds the lock in the middle of the ring, causing Taker to scream in pain. Taker crawls to an elevated position, allowing him to pull Angle down. Chokeslam to Angle! Triple H runs down and distracts Taker, allowing the hobbled Angle to roll Taker up for the win. Post-Match: Taker and H brawl on the floor, and Hogan runs down. He puts a terrible looking Ankle Lock on Kurt, but thankfully, Taker comes into the ring and chokeslams a celebrating Hogan, but Triple H comes back in and Pedigrees Taker. **3/4

WWE Tag Team Champions: Billy & Chuck
WWE European Champion: William Regal
WWE Hardcore Champion: Bradshaw
WWE Cruiserweight Champion: The Hurricane

Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler are doing commentary for the whole PPV again, lol Tazz & Cole.

King of the Ring Semi-Finals: Rob Van Dam vs. Chris Jericho
Jericho has on these "BADASS" shiny silver and black tights on. This was good, but not great. They worked a really slow style and seemed like they was holding back. But don't get me wrong it was still really enjoyable, the match ends when both men are fighting on the top turnbuckle, but RVD kicks Jericho back into the ring and finishes him with Five Star Frog splash. Post-Match: Jerry Lawler interviews RVD, but the interview was cut short when Jericho attacks RVD and puts him in the Walls. ***

In the back, Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar are talking and Heyman puts BROCK over! And tells him that it's time to prove his worth.

King of the Ring Semi-finals: Brock Lesnar (w/Paul Heyman) vs. Test
I think the majority of the people watching at the time KNEW! This was Brock's time just by looking at him but I do give credit to both men cause they did some sweet near falls at the end that had me believing Test could pull out the win. Most of the match was spent with both men trading "Power moves" and was quite impressive. Paul losing his mind at ringside during nearfalls on Brock was awesome. The match ends when Heyman distracts Test to break up another Big Boot. That allows Lesnar to finish with the F-5 for the win. **
In the back, Coach asks Bubba who's winning between RVD and Brock. Bubba says as much as he'd like to see RVD win, he says nobody's stopping Brock right now. Bubba says as much as he'd like to be the winner and get the SummerSlam title match, he'll find another way to make an impact.

Lance Storm and Christian are disgusted by the lack of Canadians in the finals. Storm says America is biased against Canadians.

Cruiserweight Championship: The Hurricane vs. Jamie Noble (w/Nidia)
The build for this has been hilarious so Nidia use to date Helms before he became the "Hurricane" I guess it was before she was on tough enough too? Anyway he dumped her because he liked SEX too much so she got a new BF Mr. Trailer Trash Jamie Noble. And on one night on SD Noble attacked Hurricane which allowed Nidia to steal his cape and mask, she wore the cape and used the mask as UNDERWEAR! Last week on SD Hurricane got some revenge and Hurri-slammed Knoble and took the mask back. As for the match it was very damn good both men brought their respected gimmicks and used that in the match, the only thing that hurt the match was that it was slow in the middle. The match ends when Hurricane hits a super neck breaker off the top rope, Nidia has the ref distracted, though. Noble tries to capitalize, but Hurricane catches him with HURRI-SLAM which only gets a 2 count. Helms goes up, but Noble crotches him and hits the Powerbomb to win after Nidia shoved Hurricane's foot off the rope. **1/2 - **3/4

kotr1a.gif

Eddie Guerrero vs. Ric Flair
WWE was building this as Eddie/Steve Austin, but when Austin walked out on the company, they booked this angle that Flair was sorry for the way he's been acting so He officially turned face again. Anyway Eddie and Benoit were aligned with Flair at the time but once this "Austin" thing went down they blamed Flair and turned on him, leading to this match. Eddie was in WCW sleazebag/scumbag mode here. Before the match Eddie cuts a promo, where he goes over his entire family including some kid they picked up in the street the other night :lmao Eddie was in "Best Wrestler in the World" mode here as he was out wrestling and out cheating Flair here. I would go on and actually say this was a straight carry job. The match ends when He goes for the figure-four, and here comes Chris Benoit. But Eddie makes the ropes and rolls Flair up for two. A Tornado DDT gets two, but Flair gets his foot on the bottom rope. Eddie distracts the ref while Benoit drags Flair to the floor and applies the Crippler Crossface. The ref tosses Benoit because he knows he was doing something. That allows Bubba Dudley to sneak in and hit Eddie with the Bubba Bomb. Flair covers and gets the win. **3/4

William Regal and Chris Nowinkski are at WWF New York.

WWF Women's Championship: Trish Stratus vs. Molly Holly
So, Lawler is upset because the crowd wasn't chanting "SHE'S A FAT ASS" This was a fine women’s match that lasted 5 minutes. The match ends when Molly misses the Molly-Go-Round, but she reverses Trish's rollup and grabs a handful of tights to win the title. *1/2

Angle is upset because the match with Hogan got billed as “the match of the real American heroes.â€￾ Kurt asks what Hogan ever did to become a hero on the level of his gold medal win. He says Hogan only became a hero because Vince told him and the people Hogan would be a hero, and if Vince wanted Hogan to be a zookeeper, he would have been a zookeeper. He says tonight, he's going to make Hogan tap faster than Mr. Bojangles on speed.

Hulk Hogan vs. Kurt Angle
Jesus Christ this fucking sucked, Angle was doing his best to make Hogan's offense look above average but Hogan is beyond washed up to this point. The finish of the match happens when Hogan has his (Punch, punch, punch, boot) comeback but instead of using the legdrop. He instead chooses to go after the wig, and Angle is so discombobulated that he bails and takes a walk. We’re all thinking count out win for Hogan, but Angle returns with a chair, takes a swing, and hits himself instead. :lmao Hogan hits the big boot, but the legdrop misses and Angle slaps on the anklelock! Hogan almost makes the ropes, but Kurt keeps pulling him back and reapplying, and Hogan even tries the roll though kick but Kurt still has the ankle lock applied and Hogan TAPS! HOLY SHIT! **

Clearly the best part of the show

King of the Ring Finals: Brock Lesnar (w/Paul Heyman) vs. Rob Van Dam
Well, this was just a squash to put Lesnar over as the "NEXT BIG THING!."

In the back, Triple H runs into the NWO, and hugs Shawn and Nash jumps in for a group hug. He then shakes Pac’s hand and nods at Show. They wish him luck, and say if he needs them, throw it up and there be there. :hm:

Paul Heyman is still at ringside to do commentary! :mark:

Undisputed Championship: The Undertaker vs. Triple H
This was bad, really fuckin' bad. It started slow and sluggish and was quite boring. But thankfully things kinda picked up in the middle/end portion but then got ruined once the over booking kicked in. LOOK! Ref BUMP!, twice. As both men lay on the floor, Undertaker manages to get up, grabs a chair, but they continue to brawl on the outside and Taker’s nails The Rock with the chair instead of Triple H. Rock goes after Taker, but nails Triple H with a chair. Hebner is down, as Undertaker hits the Last Ride on Triple H, only gets a two count. Nick Patrick comes down, but the Undertaker nails him. Rock jumps back in, he nails Undertaker with a Rock Bottom, Triple H gets a two count. Undertaker manages to roll Triple H up for the pin count, and he comes away with the win and the title. HAHAHAHAHAHA! This was pretty much weak brawling and rest holds for 20 minutes then overbooking for the final 7. UGH! *1/2

FUCK THIS PPV! I can see why they dumped it.

I forgot to add Post-Match: Taker talk shit to Rock while he's on the entrance way so Rock runs down and gives him the People's elbow, while this allows Triple H to recover and he gets up and Pedigrees Rock. Taker himself makes a recovery and chokeslams Triple H and that's how the show ends HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

WWE Undisputed Champion: The Undertaker
WWE Women's Champion: Molly Holly
WWE Intercontinental Champion: Rob Van Dam
WWE European Champion: William Regal
WWE Hardcore Champion: Bradshaw

The show opens and we see most of the RAW Wrestlers surrounding the ring. Vince McMahon comes out and cuts a promo that everybody knows he is a success, and that he is going to tell everyone what makes him successful. The answer is plain and simple: "RUTHLESS AGGRESSION" Years ago, he kicked every wrestling promotions' asses because of his "RUTHLESS AGGRESSION" He took on WCW, and managed to kick their ass and take over the company because of "RUTHLESS AGGRESSION" Tonight, we will find out which of these Superstars possesses this feature. There is one Raw Superstar who is not here, because he already showed his "RUTHLESS AGGRESSION" Brock Lesnar. The new King of the Ring didn't care who he had to beat or how; he just used his aggression to take the Title. Vince singles out Bubba for helping Ric Flair last night, well tonight Bubba will take on Eddie Guerrero tonight and will get to show his "RUTHLESS AGGRESSION" Vince looks over at Jeff Hardy and says he'll get to show his aggression in a non-title match against the Undertaker. As Jeff shows his happiness, Vince tells Matt Hardy that he will be barred from ringside. Vince walks around the ring, shouting at his Superstars that they had better show that they have the aggression needed to become Champions, because if they don't have it, he doesn't want them. Suddenly the NWO music hits and come to the stage. Michaels apologizes for being late, he then offers the services of the NWO to take out some of the "trash" down there. Nash says that if anybody has a problem with it "to headline a few Wrestlemania's and come back and talk about it" :lmao Booker T steps into the ring, and grabs the mic from Vince McMahon and says that the NWO has got to go, the NOW blows. Goldust joins him, saying that no one in the WWE are tighter than Booker and Goldust. They're boys, homies; hell, they're practically married! Booker yells at Goldust, Booker challenges any NWO member to a match tonight. Vince says that it won't be Booker T vs. Shawn Michaels because Shawn Michaels in an ICON, and it won't be Kevin Nash, because he's not cleared to wrestle. Vince then drops the epic line says that "if Kevin Nash doesn't live up to his expectations, he could be joining Scott Hall in the unemployment line" OH SHIT!

raw1.gif

Vince says if you want it, you have to take it. So Booker takes the mic from Vince, but Vince takes it right back. Vince says that X-Pac and Big Show will face Booker and his close friend Goldust. Booker takes the mic, but against Vince takes it right back, saying that Michaels and Nash are barred from ringside. Booker snatches the mic back and says that he can DIG THAT.. SUCKA!!!! Booker's music hits and Booker does a spinerooni for the crowd.

Spike Dudley & Bradshaw vs. Christopher Nowinski & William Regal
Nowinski's Theme is hilariously generic, this was average action nothing special. Nowinski quickly rolls Bradshaw up and uses the tights for the win. *1/2

In the back, Vince tells Sgt. Slaughter that he is going to get rid of people week by week and says he doesn't like Raven or Tommy Dreamer. Since they used to be stars in ECW, which he put out of business. So tonight, they'll go at it, with the loser never appearing on Raw again. Vince enters his office, to find Jackie from Tough Enough, wrapped up in a trench coat. She says she's going to show how aggressive she can be. Vince says that he wants to see her aggression up close in his office, and in the ring. How about she and Molly team up against Trish and Linda from Tough Enough. Jackie says she has no problem with the match, but she came to show that she's ready for Divas Undressed. She takes off her trench coat to reveal a black bra and matching thong. Undertaker comes in, causing Jackie to run off. Taker says that he's upset. If he wasn't the Baddest Man on the Planet, he might have lost his Title. Rock can come and give all the speeches he wants, but it's a different story when the Title is at hands. Rock nearly cost him his Title last night. Taker says that he wants The Rock tonight. Vince says that Rock's appearance was a one-time thing, but knowing that, Vince made Taker a match with Jeff Hardy. Taker can just pretend that Jeff is the Rock. Vince wants new stars, because he's going to make Jeff Hardy famous.

Eddie Guerrero vs. Bubba Ray Dudley
JR tells us that Triple H’s elbow is in such bad shape that he’s gonna have surgery on it tomorrow and is gonna be out of action for at least one month. Bubba comes out and immediately gets a table from under the ring, before the match Eddie is interviewed By Terri backstage. This was fun for 2 minutes but again nothing special, Bubba goes for the BubbaBomb but Eddie counters it into a Victory Roll and uses the tights for the win. 2 matches in a row with the same finish, C'MON. Post-Match: Eddie takes him out from behind and goes outside to get the table and brings it into the ring, but in the time it takes to set it up which allows Bubba to recover and Powerbombs Eddie through the table. Chris Benoit runs to the ring and takes him down with the Crippler Crossface. *1/2

Seriously The best thing RAW has going.

Jeff says that he's going to take care of business tonight. Matt says that since the Tag Titles are on the other show, they have to become stars themselves. Jeff says he'll become a star, or die trying.

Loser Leaves Raw: Raven vs. Tommy Dreamer
So let me get this right Tommy gets the jobber entrance and Raven gets the full entrance but Raven it the one that losses, :lmao This was LAME it lacked that "hate" we got from the old school ECW feud but I guess they didn't need that type of hate for a "Loser Leaves Raw forever" match. This was also like 2 minutes long to it was over before it even started. *

Security forces Raven to leave the building right away. As soon as Raven gets outside, Matt Hardy spears him into the wall and then slams him onto a car. And tells Raven to "Have a nice trip!"

In the back, Heyman says that he has set up a proper ceremony for his winning of the King of the Ring.

Paul Heyman is in the ring with Jim Ross and the red carpet. JR says that this year's King of the Ring gets something much more prestigious than a trophy or crown: a Title shot at SummerSlam for the Undisputed Title. Paul Heyman says that it was all his idea to give the winner a Title shot. Last night, his plan came to fruition. And now, the man who will challenge for the Undisputed Title at SummerSlam, the King of the Ring and Next Big Thing: Brock Lesnar! Brock comes down and shakes hands with his agent Heyman. Paul says that the people now realize that, as the King of the Ring and SummerSlam Main Event, is the answer to all of Vince's questions. Vince asked who wants it, and no one wants it more than Brock Lesnar. No man has more desire to succeed, nor more hunger for competition, the craving to advance than Brock Lesnar. And no one has the need to be a Champion than the Next Big Thing. Heyman tells the fans to put aside their envy and jealousy and to stand up and applaud the 2002 King of the Ring, Brock Lesnar. Rob Van Dam runs into the ring and hits Lesnar with two spinning heel kicks. He goes up top and hits a flying spin kick that sends Lesnar to the floor, Heyman holds back Brock from coming in and RVD celebrates.

In the back, Heyman and Brock go to Vince and Heyman says RVD ruined it all. Vince asks what he's supposed to do and Heyman demands he book Brock vs. RVD tonight for RVD's Intercontinental Title. He asks Brock if he's going to take it, and Brock is about to talk for the first time, but Heyman cuts him off and says YES! and they leave.

The Undertaker vs. Jeff Hardy
This was short and to the point, Taker works best when he's killing some lightweight or trying to take down a giant. The match ends when Taker catches him and chokeslams him to the floor. Taker rolls Jeff into the ring and hit the Last Ride for the win. Post-Match: Taker rides up to the stage, but Jeff gets on the mic and yells to hold on. He says Taker keeps beating his ass, but he keeps getting up. He challenges Taker to a title match next week, but in his way, "A LADDER MATCH!" Taker briefly thinks about it, but accepts. *3/4

Trish Stratus & Linda vs. Molly Holly Jackie Gayda
Molly gets on the mic and says that she's proud to bring integrity back to the Women's championship, she EARNED it!, whereas Trish slept her way to the top! Trish points out that Molly had to cheat to beat her at KOTR. She also felt bad about making fun of Molly recently, but after hearing her comments, Trish says that she will be happy to kick Molly's FAT ASS! So the divas get 5 minutes of the some of the other guys who can work get 2/3 minutes, JESUS!

In the back, Coach asks RVD if he will be able to keep up the intensity against Lesnar tonight. RVD says he doesn't need Mr. McMahon's motivation, and he knows who he is. Paul Heyman & Brock Lesnar interrupt, Heyman cuts a great promo about how everything in RVD's life, he has because of him. He keeps it up, AND BROCK YELLS "SHUT UP PAUL!" Paul is in shock, and Brock gets in RVD's face, and says tonight, he's going to show RVD the meaning of "RUTHLESS AGGRESSION"

Kevin Nash tells Big Show and X-Pac if they don't beat Booker T & Goldust, that he will kick their asses when they come back from the ring!

Booker T Goldust vs. The Big Show X-Pac
This was given time and was actually really good, Goldust is so AWESOME when he's on its unbelievable. His bumping and selling was making Show and Pac's offense look great, oh I should also mention Goldust throws the second best punches in the company first is Taker obviously. Booker's brief hot tag could have been better it just seemed to lack that "Booker energy swag", but Goldust tags in again and saves this. The match ends when Booker clotheslines X-Pac over the top, while Goldust sets Show in the corner and calls for the end. He runs for Shattered Dreams, but Show stops him with one hand and hits the Showslam for the win. **1/2

WWE Intercontinental Championship: Rob Van Dam vs. Brock Lesnar (w/ Paul Heyman)
This should of happen at the PPV because it was AWESOME! Brock is starting to come into his own with great power moves to which RVD was back in RVD mode and sold it beautifully even his comeback was done well with Brock (who some people don't understand how much of an AWESOME seller is) starts selling and even took some bumps. The match ends when RVD hits the Split-legged moonsault but Heyman breaks up the pin, which gives RVD the DQ win. Post-Match: RVD grabs Heyman and beats the hell out of him, but Lesnar grabs RVD from behind and punches him in the back Heyman throws a steel chair into the ring but RVD hits Lesnar with the Vandaminator and goes out to chases Heyman around the ring, and back into the ring! RVD hits Spinning heel kick to Heyman, and delivers the five-star-frog-splash on Paul Heyman. RVD starts celebrating but Lesnar attacks again, pulling RVD out of the ring, Lesnar clears the monitors from the announce table and brutally Powerbombs RVD through the announce table to end the show. *** - ***1/4
