The Undertaker comes out and he gets on the mic. He gets a HUUUUUUGE pop and says he's glad people appreciate the man who FINALLY shut The Rock's mouth. This turns the crowd on him, so he shits on them for being backwoods. He says the beatings will continue until Rock respects him, and Ric Flair comes down to the ring. He says Taker was one of the most respected of all time until he tried to end Rock's career on Smackdown, and Taker yells at Ric asking who the hell he is to not respect him. He says he's Ric Flair and he owns half the WWF. Taker then says when the real owner gets here and Vince gives him the word to “I'm gonna bust yo assâ€￾. But tonight, Flair makes Taker vs. Austin.

We get a looks at Jericho who is wearing the badass attire is walking down the corridors looking like a BOSS. We get NWO hype video for No Way Out.

raw1b.gif

Chris Jericho vs. Edge
Really fun back-and-forth match here with Jericho working on Edge's injured taped ribs. Edge sold it tremendously, throughout. The finish happens when. Jericho bulldogs him but misses the Lionsault. Jericho dodges the Spear and Jericho gets the Walls, but that is reversed into a cradle for two. Jericho drops him on the top rope to hurt the ribs further, then grabs his belt…and walks right into a spear for a two. Jericho nails him in the ribs with the belt right in front of the ref and then he hits the Breakdown for the 3 count. **1/2 - **3/4

Vince lets us know that this is the last RAW before the NWO arrives.

Triple H is in his tux and sees the replay. Stephanie says the baby is fine, and to calm down. She says he promised not to fight, and he says he has to go take care of something, and promises he won't fight anyone tonight.

Goldust vs. Rikishi
Ended before it even got going, RVD runs down and hits Goldust with a Flying Sidekick off the top for a DQ. Post-Match: They brawl for a bit then Rikishi kicks Goldust in the jaw then RVD does the same so he leaves. DUD!

In the back, Arn finds Triple H walking the hallway and says a package showed up for him at Flair's office, and gives him it. ARN! Is wearing WWF polo and not Ralph Lauren polo, DA FUCK.

Austin cuts a promo about how this is a dry county and he's all pissed off about that, but never the fear Austin went to the liquor store and bought all of their Vodka and beer but now he's going to beat up Taker and show him NO RESPECT! Tonight.

Kurt Angle vs. The Godfather (w/ working Laddies)
SQUASH, SQUASH, SQUASH Post-match, Kurt gets on the mic. He says that while Stephanie can do way better, tonight is supposed to be Triple H's big night. However, he has a vow of his own, to beat Triple Hat No Way Out and take his Mania title shot. DUD!

Triple H comes back in the room and drops the folder on the couch. He says he had to go get something, and gives Stephanie a big diamond ring, and says he's been meaning to give her that for a while. She starts crying AHHHHHHHHH!

Undertaker comes down to the ring with no bike, then Austin comes out for his match, but Jericho jumps him on the ramp, and puts on the Walls of Jericho on the ramp until referees pull him to the back. Taker goes and pulls Austin to ringside for the match.

Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. The Undertaker
This was slow with not much happening, the finish happens when the Tombstone is reversed, into a STUNNER! and Jericho runs in AGAIN for the DQ. Post-Match: Jericho hits Austin with the title and brought in Austin's cooler. He hit him with open beer cans and swung the cooler into Austin's face before he poured Austin's beer on him. AWESOME! *1/2

raw1c.gif
raw1d.gif

NWO hype video.

Booker T (w/ Test) vs. Tazz (w/ Spike Dudley)
Another boring shot match that really did nothing for me, the finish happens when Booker gets the axe kicks in then the SPINAROONI, the Bookend is reversed to the Tazzmission, but Spike interferes and gets thrown out, which doesn't make any sense why would Spike get involved when he partner is gonna win? any way this allowing Test to boot Tazz for the pin. Booker needing help to beat Tazz :lmao *

MORE NWO hype.

Bikini Match: Torrie Wilson vs. Stacy Keibler

raw1e.gif
raw1f.gif

HHH & Stephanie share more love moment as Hunter prepares to check out his Mystery Parcel. Elsewhere Mr. Perfect plays chess with a national champion. And cheats to win. AWESOME/AMAZING/PHENOMENAL! I wish he got more TV time :(

Rob Van Dam vs. Christian
Fun 6 minute match but RVD botched like 3 moves which was frustrating. The finish happens when RVD hits a Spinkick which sets up Rolling Thunder, which misses and allows Christian a cradle for two. Reversal sequence leads to an inverted DDT from Christian for two. Christian throws a tantrum and gets frog splashed for the pin. :lmao Post-Match: As RVD walked to the back, Goldust showed up on the Tron. He said RVD should fear the featured attraction at No Way Out, as he goes face to face with Goldust. **3/4

raw1g.gif

In the back, ARN! informs HHH that Linda is looking for him. Triple H gets a phone call from Linda, She says there's a tape in the FedEx she sent, and someone sent it to her and she forwarded it right to him. He puts it in the VCR, and it's the "doctor" from SD doing a travel agency commercial, and Linda says he's just an actor. OH SHIT! Linda says she's sorry, and Stephanie is not pregnant. Triple H says he's sorry too and hangs up. OH SHIT!

raw1h.gif

In the back, Vince finds Stephanie and says he hasn't forgotten all she's done...but dammit, she's his daughter and a McMahon, and he's going to walk her down the aisle.

The renewing of the vows ceremony. As with all formal things of this nature, Triple H makes his way up to the platform as Motorhead plays. Vince and Stephanie come down and Lawler says it's like deja vu. :hm: The crowd also chants WHAT at the minister, as with all weddings. They give their vows, etc. and Triple H says he sees her now as what she really is ... A NO GOOD LYING BITCH! Triple H yells at her for playing with his emotions like that and says even he wouldn't do that, and this has always been about her and their marriage is over. He decks Vince when he tries to attack and Triple H wrecks the ring-chapel. Hunter then hits Vince with the Pedigree, and Stephanie yells at him. He pie-faces her down, throws off his wedding ring and walks out. OH SHIT!

WWF Undisputed Champion: Chris Jericho
WWF Intercontinental Champion: William Regal
WWF Tag Team Champions: Spike Dudley & Tazz
WWF European Champion: Diamond Dallas Page
WWF Hardcore Champion: Maven
WWF Cruiserweight Champion: Tajiri
WWF Women's Champion: Jazz

Vince and Stephanie come out to open the show, and Vince says at a time of crisis like this he always stands by family. Stephanie cuts a promo about how H made her lie by not showing her the proper attention and respect, and says she tore up the family pictures. She brags about destroying his video tape collection of his matches and classic ones he studied. :lmao Vince then books Taker/Angle vs. Maven/Triple H tonight. She says by the end of the night, she'll give Triple H a special Valentine's Day surprise.

Booker and Test pretend to be worried about Spike tonight, and say at No Way Out, the titles are pretty much theirs. Booker tells him this is gonna be easy and to take tonight off.

Booker T vs. Spike Dudley
Tazz is away promoting Tough Enough 2. SQUASH, SQUASH, SQUASH. DUD!

Flair summons Jericho into his office, and says he's giving him a chance tonight to leave the building before Austin gets here so as to not jeopardize his PPV main event. Jericho says Austin isn't here yet because he fears Jericho as a larger than life living legend Undisputed Champion. Jericho then realizes Arkansas sucks so he'll take it, but Flair says Jericho's convinced him he should be on the show since he's so good, and he books Jericho vs. Kane.

Elsewhere, Chuck & Billy exchange Valentine’s Day gifts (same box of chocolates) The APA look on in disgust.

Billy & Chuck vs. The APA
OH SHIT! It's the debut of "YOU LOOK SOOOOO GOOD TO ME!" They feed each other chocolate on the way in, :lmao 2 minutes of garbage. The finish happens when Chuck hits Faarooq in the head with the box of chocolates but we would then discover that the box had a weight in it Billy would then cover for the 3,

Steve Austin comes down to the ring, and he is PISSED. He says he's Stunned a lot of people, drank a lot of beer, and raised a lot of hell in this ring, but he's got to say something and admit something tonight. He struggles with it and says "my name is Stone Cold Steve Austin and I am a drug addict." He then says that his drug of choice is the WWF Championship. He needs it, cannot live without it, and doesn’t want to live without it. He says he'll do anything to himself or whoever holds the title, and this Sunday, bloody Sunday, at No Way Out, Chris Jericho has No Way Out.

Val Venis is in the ring and has a female fan PLANT! Come into the ring. He then removes the towel himself, and says he has a special heart on under there for her. He then asks the PLANT! To take something off and she goes along with it and takes her top off and begins to make out with Val.

William Regal vs. Val Venis
SQUASH, SQUASH, SQUASH Post-Match: Coach questions Regal about the Brass Knucks on A Pole Match vs. Edge at No Way Out, and Regal knocks him out with the knucks. Edge runs out and Spears Regal on the stage before getting pulled off by referees.

In the back, Austin finds Jericho and yells at him to drink beer with him as he talks since Jericho has no problem wasting Stone Cold's beer. He says Jericho and his titles are his at No Way Out. Elsewhere The Dudleyz demand Flair give them a tag title shot, but Christian and Lance Storm come in and also want one. Flair says NO! So Christian throws a tantrum so Flair books a Tag Turmoil match at No Way Out with them, APA, Billy & Chuck, Scotty & Albert, and the Hardyz, UGH!

sd1a.gif

Goldust vs. (Tajiri w/ Torrie Wilson)
Hey guess what more 2 minute SQUASH! matches. Goldust wins with a Neckbreaker, Post-Match: Goldust stalks Torrie in the ring until RVD runs down to hit him with a heel kick and the Frog Splash. 1/2*

sd1b.gif

Jericho is walking to the ring and Austin opens a beer from the side. STALKIN' JERICHO:mark:

Chris Jericho vs. Kane
Jericho bumps around for a bit. Jericho hits Kane on the floor with the title belt for a cheap DQ. At least Jericho was wearing the same "BADASS" red attire again. *1/2 - *3/4

Taker and Kurt talk to Vince and Stephanie. Taker says it was wrong what Triple H did on Raw, but more importantly, he likes the quiet this week with Rock gone, and he's gonna make it permanent soon. Kurt says they'll break every bone in Triple H's body, and Stephanie wants them to rip out his heart.

The Undertaker & Kurt Angle vs. Triple H & Maven
Really fun main event to end what has been an "AWFUL" show, this has to be the best Hunter has looked since his return. Maven played the role of "the young rookie" who was fighting his hardest. The finish happens when a Face buster sets up the PEDIGREE!, but Taker saves with the big boot. Maven missile dropkicks Angle, but Taker gets tosses Maven over the top rope. Taker hit Maven with the Last Ride through the table on the floor. While Angle suplexes HHH in the ring. Taker accidentally puts Angle on the floor, but meets with a face buster and sets up for another PEDGIREE! before Angle uses a chair for the 3rd or 4th DQ of the night, man go home-shows SUCK! Post-Match: In the ring, Kurt hits Triple H with the edge of the chair a lot and Taker hits him with the Chokeslam. He sets him up for the larynx explosion but RIC FLAIR RUNS OUT. Taker and Flair have words and Kurt tries to calm it, but Taker hits Ric with the Big Boot. He sets him for the Last Ride, but Vince and Stephanie come out, and Vince tells him not now. Taker holds Flair up and Vince says he wants Flair to make it to No Way Out and see the NWO debut so it's on his conscience. Taker and Kurt then hold up Hunter and Stephanie says "at No Way Out, SHE'S GONNA BE THE GUEST REFEREE!!!!" **1/2

Hogan, Hall, and Nash walk out in NWO shirts to open the show. Nash says he can't believe all the heat that they have with the boys in the back. Nash then says all this stuff about poison and cancer is ridiculous, and asks what they did that was so bad, and says to give them a chance. Hall gets on the mic and HEY YO! :mark: He says they're here as fans to watch and maybe get some pictures. Hall says if they're lucky, they might even get to drink a few beers with the boys, but Nash puts his hand on Hall's chest and shakes his head no, and Hogan wags his finger. :lmao Hogan says they deserve a chance, and one man who gave them a chance was Vince McMahon, and he asks God to bless Vince McMahon.

Tag Team Turmoil Contender's Match

Scottie II Hottie & Albert vs. Christian & Lance Storm
This was during the time when the WWF pushed Lance Storm as a charisma-deficient automaton. Hard to believe that didn't get over. Why would you accentuate his failings? I mean, every wrestler has some weaknesses. That would be like trying to get Hogan over by highlighting his technical skills. Anyway, Scottie hits the facebuster and goes for the Worm, but Storm breaks it up. That distraction allows Christian to hit the Unprettier and gets the 3.

Christian & Lance Storm vs. The Hardy Boyz (w/Lita)
The Hardyz double-team Christian but Storm cheap shots Matt and legdrops him for two. Dropkick gets two. Matt stun guns Christian, tags abound. Jeff forearms Christian and legdrops Storm for two. Storm gets the half-crab, but heel miss-communication sets up the Swanton for the pin.

The Hardy Boyz (w/Lita) vs. The Dudley Boyz (w/Stacy Keibler)
brawl to start, won by the Dudz. D-Von powerslams Jeff for two. Bubba does a weird submission move, and D-Von pounds away. Twisty elbow gets two. Jeff comes back as Bubba misses a senton, hot tag Matt. DDT for Bubba, and the yodeling legdrop gets two. Goofy double-team leg sweep gets two on Bubba. Stacy & Lita have a catfight to waste time, allowing Bubba to Bubbabomb Matt. Lita cheats as usual, hitting her one move on Bubba and Matt cradles D-Von for the pin Post-Match: The Dudleyz hit the 3D on Jeff on the floor after the match. These teams need a double-turn in the worst way.

The Hardy Boyz (w/Lita) vs. Billy & Chuck
The Hardyz are out of it, so Billy hits the Fameasser.

Billy & Chuck vs. The APA
Brawl to start, and Faarooq shoulder blocks Chuck for two. Bradshaw hammers him, but Chuck gets the discus punch. What’s with the pigtails on Chuck? I mean, REALLY. Chuck walks into a blockbuster slam and the APA double-teams him for two. Billy & Chuck respond with double-teaming of their own on Faarooq. Billy hits the chinlock, but gets spinebusted. Hot tag to Bradshaw, who tosses Chuck and finishes Billy with the Clothesline from HELL.

I hated the whole thing it was just a big time waste I would have much preferred them to do a big tag tournament on TV and let the two final teams go at it here. Plus the APA winning was a terrible idea. **

nwo1b.gif

In the back, Ric Flair says nobody's buying what the NWO said, and there's a locker room full of guys who'd love to teach them about respect as soon as they get out of line. The Undertaker comes over and asks if Ric's supposed to be some kind of authority on respect now. He says he should be less worried about watching the NWO, and more worried about who's watching him.

Rob Van Dam vs. Goldust
Okay stuff here, although that rest hold spot in the middle was really boring me. Goldust was pretty motivated here and bumped well for RVD signature moves. The finish happens when although that rest hold spot in the middle really annoyed me. Goldust seemed to be in pretty good shape for someone who hadn't had a meaningful singles match in a long time, and RVD’s varied offense is always fun to watch. **1/4 - **1/2

Backstage Austin runs into the NWO. Hall gives him a gift of some beer, but Austin throws it behind him and walks away, Hogan tells Nash and Hall to let Austin through, and they stare at him menacingly as he walks away.

nwo1c.gif

WWF Tag Team Championships: Tazz & Spike Dudley vs. Booker T & Test
The very definition of average, it just felt like an extended RAW match. At least the match had the "underdog" formula of having Spike gets beaten on, then Tazz comes in for the hot tag and the win. The finish happens when Test blocks a charge from Tazz and gets a 2 count with his feet on the ropes. Test isn't happy and shoves the referee, who shoves him straight back into a Tazzmission! Test taps out almost immediately. *1/2

Brass Knuckles on a Pole Match for the WWF Intercontinental Championship: William Regal vs. Edge
hey didn't really sell the stipulations, which is deadly in match where the fans don't automatically buy into them. Plus the action was sloppy in parts. The finish happens when Edge gets two off the Edgeomatic and spears Regal. Instead of going for the cover, Edge goes out and picks up the brass knuckles. Regal sneaks a second pair out of his tights and nails Edge with them and there’s the three count! **

nwo1d.gif

Kurt Angle says he's not confident because of Stephanie being the ref, but because he's better than Triple Hat everything. He says the baby might have been fake, but tonight, he's going to make Triple H call him daddy.

The Rock vs. The Undertaker
Too long, horrible overbooked finish. More of the match was full of rest holds, including a ridiculously long bearhug. Oh real structure and it was just filled with punches and rest holds with the occasional bursts of energy. Undertaker was pretty terrible at this point in time. Thankfully he picked it up during 2003 and reinvented himself during 2005-present. The finish happens when Taker finds his pipe and heads to the ring, but Ric Flair runs down to try and intervene, but Taker big boots him in the skull! Taker heads back into the ring and aims to hit Rock with the pipe, but Rock takes him down and locks in the Sharpshooter! The referee is back in, but here comes Vince McMahon to distract The Rock, who releases the hold and heads over to bring Vince into the ring. Spit punch to Vince! Taker attacks Rock from behind and sets up for the Tombstone, but Flair comes in and nails Taker with the pipe! into the ROCK BOTTOM! and the Rock covers for 3. ** - **1/4 I wonder has Rock/Taker ever had a good match together?

Mr. Perfect is drunk at WWF New York and then shows us his back :lmao

#1 Contenders Match: Triple H vs. Kurt Angle
Stephanie enters first in a TIGHT! referee’s shirt. She demands Howard Finkel announce her as “Stephanie McMahon†instead of “Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley†The match was fine, but it also showed that Angle was just some scrub and that the *real* feud that the WWF cared about was between Hunter and Stephanie. Plus I still find it hilarious that Angle would lose the rematch just 24 hours later. Oh and the 5 ref bumps didn't help. **1/2 Angle/HHH really don't have in ring chemistry like they do on the mic or during promos.

nwo1e.gif
nwo1f.gif

Angle heads backstage and gets straight in his car and leaves the arena.

clearly the highlight of the PPV

WWF Undisputed World Championship: Chris Jericho vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin
The main event is pretty much like the whole show, just one big let-down. Austin's clearly not putting much effort into any of his moves here mainly his chops. Also, he doesn't really bother selling anything, I guess he was REALLY PISSED He wasn't facing Hogan @ Mania. This was also ruined by the REF BUMPS & Outside interference's. The finish happens when Jericho counters the Thesz Press to the Walls of Jericho. Austin makes the ropes, so Jericho grabs the belt. The ref gets bumped as he tries to take it away from him. Austin spinebusters Jericho on the belt for two, and Jericho hits the Breakdown on the belt for two of his own. The ref gets bumped again, this time off a missed Jericho clothesline. Austin applies the Walls of Jericho, but there's no ref. Stunner, but there's no ref. The NWO runs in and gets their asses kicked by Austin. But the numbers just become too much for Austin which Jericho counters the Thesz Press to the Walls of Jericho. The NWO head backstage, and the show goes off the air! ***

Austin comes down to open the show with a steel chair and JR yells that his soul was R@PED by the NWO. He calls out the NWO, and they come onto the stage. He yells to take about 30 more steps, and they leave. He sets up his chair and gets his coolers of beer from ringside, and says he's not getting out of this ring until the NWO gets down here. As we go to a commercial. Steve Austin is still sitting, back from break, and Kurt Angle comes out to the stage with a ton of security. He says he's actually in the main event of WrestleMania, so Austin throws empty beer cans at him. Angle walks down to the ring with the off-duty cops. He says he's officially going to WrestleMania in the main event, and Austin tackles him. The cops pull Austin off and cuff him, and Angle talks shit and add "WHAT?" after he then mentions about how he's going to Mania, and Austin is going to jail.

raw1a.gif

In the parking lot, Austin is put into the back of the cop car as the NWO mocks him.

Christian & Lance Storm vs. The Hardy Boyz (w/ Lita)
Good energetic tag match when Jeff was being his usual sloppy silly self. The finish happens when Christian threw a temper tantrum allowing them to win with the Twist of Fate and Swanton Bomb for the 3 count. JR & King spent the whole match talking about Austin’s arrest and the NWO. **

raw1b.gif

Backstage, Kurt and Stephanie talk about the match last night they also share an awesome double 5 moments until Ric Flair walks in. He says it was such a brilliant booking move, that he's booking a rematch tonight for the #1 Contender's spot, and if Stephanie gets involved, Hunter wins automatically.

raw1c.gif

Taker barges into Flair's office, and Flair stands up with his fists balled. Taker asks what the hell that was last night with the pipe, and Flair says he was just being a man. Taker says he thought about jumping Flair right now or in the back, but he wants him at WrestleMania. Flair says Taker is the flagship, and 10 years ago, he might have, but he's not a wrestler now, he's the owner. Taker says he'll have to see what he can do to change his mind.

In the back, the NWO is about to leave, but Hogan says for them to go, and he has some personal business to take care of. :hm:

Kane vs. Mr. Perfect
Before the match Perfect cuts a promo on Brian Urlacher choking in the playoffs before KANE came out. 3 Minute SQUASH but fuck Mr. Perfect’s bumping was great in this but the real highlight was when JR says and Perfect pulls the straps down and King reply’s that's stupid, how's that going to help him? **

Hulk Hogan comes down to the ring, and says the WWF made him a legend, and says they took on a Russians and the 700-pound Andre. JR thinks he’s prone to exaggeration. He said something happened, and then the people turned on him. He says he never wanted to leave the WWF, but they took him for granted. The crowd goes "WHAT", and he yells back "CHA' GONNA DO" He says now that he's back, he has something to say to them: "KISS MY ASS!" He says he's responsible for all this, and says nobody is as big an icon as him, until Rock interrupts. Rock asks if he actually thinks the people drove him out, but it turns out, it does not matter what he thinks. Rock says the people loved and believed in him, and The Rock believed in him. Rock says after years of the same stuff, it got to the point where any time Hogan spoke, people went to go take a shit. Rock says Hogan talked about headlining Mania after Mania after Mania, and asks how he feels about headlining another WrestleMania with THE ROCK! ! Hogan says Rock is a flavor of the month and not even in his league, and Rock stops him and says YES OR NO. Hogan stalls again as everyone goes nuts. They shake on it and Hogan says good luck, because Rock will need it. Rock pulls him back and says, "Not as much as you...BROTHER!" ROCK BOTTOM ON HOGAN. HOLY SHIT!

raw1d.gif

But wait as Rock walks up to the stage, Hall and Nash jump him. They beat him down to the ring, and Hogan whips the shit out of him with the weightlifting belt. Hall hits the Outsider's Edge, and Nash hits the Jacknife. Hogan brings a hammer in, they hold Rock up and Hogan hits him in the back of the head with the hammer. Hogan hits the Atomic Legdrop and spray-paints "NWO 2 SWEET" on Rock's back. HOLY SHIT!

ack28O0e.gif

But wait there’s more Rock is being loaded into an ambulance and it tries to drive out, but a semi-truck drives in front of its path in the parking lot, and a car blocks it from backing up. Hogan's in the semi, and Hall and Nash throw out all the ambulance drivers and people. Hogan backs up the truck, and rams it into the ambulance with Rock inside it. WHY RUIN A PERFECT SEGMENT WITH MURDER?

raw1f.gif

Booker T vs. The Godfather (w/ Lady Workers)
This fucking match :lmao the camera sees a lot of audience members just standing up and leaving, must be going to see if Rock can sign photos when he's in hospital 8D The finish happens when The girls on the floor aren't into the match and seem to be too worried about what just happen to the Rock, so Godfather yells at them and Book hits a Harlem Sidekick to win. DUD!

In the parking lot, fire-fighters and cops are on the scene. Does anyone else find it weird that we never actually see Rock? :hm:

Edge & Rob Van Dam vs. William Regal & Goldust
This was fun, not much to talk about here. I wish it got more time. Anyway the finish happens when Edge makes Regal tap to the Edgucator. *3/4

In the parking lot, a new ambulance has arrived and drives off with Rock inside to the hospital. King suspects a setup. :lmao

Kurt Angle then make fun of the “tragic” incidents going on, pointing out that “at least Rock didn't have a title shot at Wrestlemania!” :lmao

#1 Contender's Match - Triple H vs. Kurt Angle
This was a million times better than that PPV match just 24 hours prior. Triple H was really good here, he was really in the grove here with offense and Selling. Angle was really good here too as he made Triple H's offense look much better than it really was. The finish happens when Angle hits a series if Germans to set up the Anglelock, but Triple H makes the ropes. Pedigree attempt is reversed to the Anglelock, which is reversed again into the PEDIGREE! And it's over. ***

Vince did a pretape. He said what the NWO was reprehensible and they deserve proper punishment. He feels that the fans, The Rock, will be satisfied by their punishment. He says that the NWO should do community service and publicly apologize to The Rock. :lmao

Kurt Angle vs. Kane
Kurt Angle isn't in the mood to be mocked tonight. HE WAS SCREWED! He issues an open challenge to anyone stupid enough to face him in the match. Kane answers and Angle attacks him. Kane tries the tombstone, but gets suplexed. Angle grabs a chair hits him for the DQ. Post-Match: Kurt keeps it up, but Kane tackles him through the ropes to the floor. Kane tries to Chokeslam Kurt through the table, but he gets a low blow and hits a Back Suplex through the table. He pulls him up and hits a German on the floor. He throws the timekeeper down and hits him with a Belly to Belly on the floor, before grabbing the chair and going nuts on Kane's ankle. He then puts him in the Ankle Lock for well over a minute, and referees pull him off. AWESOME! Start to this feud.

sd1a.gif

Flair and Arn (who is wearing a jacket and not polo :() He again challenges Flair, and he says no. Taker says that's the last time he's asking; because he's got a feeling Flair will say yes on Raw. He then looks at Arn, and Taker says that it looks like Arn really was the only Horseman with any guts. OH SHIT!

They re-show highlights of the of the Rock/Hulk segment and beatdown and also include the 18 wheeler bit, this whole thing takes up 10 minutes.

The NWO comes down to the ring now. They get on the mic and read a prepared apology statement; Hogan says he's not sorry, however, for what he'll do to Rock at Mania. In which gets Michael Cole all hot and bothered. Steve Austin interrupts by driving his pickup truck down to the ring He hits Hall with a tire iron and he's out. Austin tries to back the truck into him, but Nash and Hogan pull him away and Austin drives the truck after them to the back. :lmao

In the back, the NWO tries to get to the limo, but all the tires are flat. They see "WHAT?" has been spray-painted on it, and Austin runs after them with the tire iron.

Edge vs. Christian
Christian’s having pyro issues this week. UGH! This was solid for the 3 minutes it got. The finish happens when the Unprettier is blocked and the spear sets up the Edgelock for the win. Post-match: Christian gets on the mic and said he quits. **

In the back, Hogan and Nash run into a room and lock the door. Hall isn't there, and they refuse to leave, and Nash says Hall's resourceful and he'll be fine.

Austin is in the kitchen and opens the freezer room to reveal Hall duct taped to a chair. He talks very slowly and asks if he's supposed to be impressed by the NWO, and says he's gone drink a beer if that's alright. Hall's mouth is also taped shut, and Austin keeps telling him to say something. Austin asks if he wants a beer, and of course, Hall nods his head. So Austin puts one right by his arm taped to the chair. :lmao He says he's gonna learn real fast not to screw with Steve Austin, and says he'll be back. Austin then leaves Hall there.

Rob Van Dam & The Hardy Boyz (w/ Lita) vs. Lance Storm & The Dudley Boyz (w/ Stacy Keibler)
This was pretty fun when Storm and the Dudleyz were on heat segment. The finish happens when Matt makes the tag to RVD. Leg lariat for Storm, spinkick for D-Von. Stacy comes in to crotch Rob, which brings Lita in for the catfight, but Matt goes for the Twist of Fate on D-Von, which gets reversed into 3D, that is broken up with a Swanton. Storm kick on Jeff, but a Litaranas knocks out Storm and the frog splash ends it. **1/2

Hogan and Nash leave the room to go find Scott. Elsewhere Stephanie complains to Flair about Raw, and the toilet flushes. She asks if that's Arn, and says she'll slap him too. Instead, Triple H comes out, and says life's a bitch and then you marry one.

Austin is wheeling Hall around and stops to drink again. He says he'll have to make Hall his designated driver, He says never mind that, and wheels him off to the backstage area, out of the kitchen. :lmao Elsewhere Hogan and Nash with a shovel and pipe, walk into the kitchen and see that Austin and Hall are no longer there, and leave.

WWF Tag Team Championship: Spike Dudley & Tazz vs. Billy & Chuck
Terrible match here, it's pretty hilarious when Tazz is the best wrestler in the match. The finish happens when Gunn hits Spike with the Fame Asser to win the titles. AHHHHHHH! *

Austin wheels Hall around and brings him into the maintenance cage. There's a spotlight there and Austin puts Hall under it and says look at him, he's a big star like he wanted. He pulls out Hall's hair tie and says ponytails are stupid. He says he's going to keep him here as bait.

In the back, Billy & Chuck complement each other's bodies and Gunn says Chuck is the best partner he's ever had. The APA comes up and Bradshaw tells them to get real close and celebrate, because at WrestleMania, they can kiss each other's asses and the titles goodbye.

Hogan and Nash find Hall, but Austin hits them with the crowbar. He wheels Hall away, and locks them in the cage.

Stephanie comes out, and is about to talk, but Chris Jericho comes out. Jericho says he used to call her a lot of names, but he never meant it, and it was all trying to get a rise out of the people. He realizes now that she's the only reason Triple H has been so successful is because of her, and she agrees. She offers to be his business partner to help him prepare for Mania, and he says yes and they shake hands. Jericho and Stephanie then sit ringside. Triple H comes down and Stephanie talks shit. So Hunter spits water at them, so Jericho attacks. Triple H beats the shit out of him around ringside. Hunter then goes after poor Steph after she slaps him but Jericho saves Stephanie from the Pedigree, and then gets beat up some more. He throws Jericho into the crowd, but now Taker comes out for the match. Hunter punches him off the apron, so Taker just leaves. :lmao

abxnR70C.gif

Elsewhere, Austin keeps assaulting Hall and tosses him in the back of the pickup truck.

Austin drives it down to the ring and pulls Hall in the ring. Austin offers to kick Hall every time the crowd says “What?â€￾ This means Austin pretty much beat the shit out of him for 7/8 minutes. He finally hits the Stunner and spray-paints "3:16" on Hall's back.

WWF Undisputed Champion: Chris Jericho
WWF Intercontinental Champion: William Regal
WWF Tag Team Champions: Billy & Chuck
WWF European Champion: Diamond Dallas Page
WWF Hardcore Champion: Maven
WWF Cruiserweight Champion: Tajiri
WWF Women's Champion: Jazz

The NWO comes out to open the show and Hall has a wheelbarrow full of something with a cloth over it with him. Hogan says he's not going to hurt The Rock until Mania, so he can beat his candy ass in front of everyone. Hall then challenges Austin for Mania and says he wants to call trues until Mania too. They leave, and Hall takes the wheelbarrow with him.

WWF Tag Team Championship: Billy & Chuck vs. The Hardy Boyz (w/ Lita)
This actually wasn't bad once you get past B&C on offense and controlling the pacing of the match. Hardyz bumped well for them too. The finish happens when Chuck sneaks in a Superkick and Gunn covers Jeff. **1/4

Jericho and Stephanie arrive in a limo. Jericho hands a tape to the driver and says to deliver that to the truck. They walk into the building arm in arm.

raw1a.gif

In Flair's office, Arn is holding down in Flair's office because Flair is stuck in traffic. Oh and ARN is wearing a white WWF polo this week. Christian comes in and wants to sign resignation papers, but DDP comes in and says he's only losing because he's so negative, and he can help him be positive. He asks Christian to smile, and ARN FUCKING DOES THE DDP SMILE :lmao DDP leaves with Christian and says he's going to show him that being positive isn't a bad thing. IT'S A GOOD THING!

raw2g.gif

Stone Cold Steve Austin accepts Hall’s challenge for WrestleMania and says he doesn't want to call trues.

#1 Contender's Match for the Intercontinental Champion: Rob Van Dam vs. Lance Storm vs. The Big Show
Really fun 3 minute match with Show pretty much throwing both guys around like they weigh nothing, Lance brings a chair in, but Show punches it into his face. Show tosses the ref aside to grab the chair, and RVD hits a Flying Sidekick into the chair in Show's face, and hits the Frog Splash to win. **1/4

Booker is learning Japanese for a shampoo commercial audition. :lmao Test comes in and the show some moves.

raw3.gif

In the APA office, Faarooq sits, and JBL knocks on the door. He says it's locked and Faarooq reminds him of the key, so he reaches around and grabs it to let himself in. Bradshaw says The Friendly Tap invited them back, but they need to hit up the nudie bar and have some practice beers.

Booker T vs. Rikishi
pretty much a SQUASH! for Booker here. The finish happens when booker gets the axe kick. Sidekick misses, and he falls into the corner for the Stink face, but dodges it and finishes with the Harlem Sidekick. 3/4*

A video package show Mark Henry winning the 2002 Arnold Schwarzenegger. WORLDS STRONGEST MAN!

Chris Jericho & Stephanie come down to the ring and get on the mic. Jericho says he might not have ever BEATEN Triple H, but he did MUCH worse, and shows the clips from the end of the Two-Man Power Trip vs. Chris Benoit & Chris Jericho match. where H tore his quad and Jericho put on the Walls of Jericho on the announce table. Jericho says if not for that, H's marriage might not have fallen apart and he might have been man enough to actually get his wife pregnant. Stephanie then says that that's probably not true, since The Game always came up a little short in the bedroom and holds her fingers up to say he has a small PENIS! :lmao Triple H comes down to the ring now and gets on the mic. He says it wasn't The Game that was short, but the playing field was too damn big. OH SHIT! Triple H then remembers Jericho is who he's actually feuding with, and challenges him to a non-title match tonight. Kurt Angle comes out onto the stage and says Vince has made it up to him for what happened last week on Raw, and it's Jericho vs. Angle for the title tonight! Angle says after he wins, Stephanie can be in his corner at Mania. Triple H then attacks Jericho.

raw4.gif

Mr. Perfect cuts one of the most botched promos of 2002, call I could catch from it was Austin had no business throwing him out of the Rumble and that's the reason he challenged him tonight.

WWF Women's Championship: Jazz vs. Mighty Molly
SQUASH! SQUASH! SQUASH! DUD! Post-match: Jazz puts Molly in the STF until ARN! along with other agents and refs pull her off. But wait more happens The Undertaker walks out AND HE ATTACKS ARN ANDERSON! ARN! does a sweet blade job and he also sells the beating like a BOSS. JR puts this over like a champ.

raw5.gif
raw6.gif

Video package telling us WrestleMania 18 is only 3 weeks away.

WWF Undisputed Championship: Chris Jericho (w/ Stephanie McMahon) vs. Kurt Angle
Kurt is wearing the "BADASS" Half American flag and half red ripped attire here. For a heel/heel match this was damn good but I'm not surprised seeing how it was an Angle/Jericho match. This was a damn good back and forth with a slowly building to an awesome finishing run of reversals. The hilarious moment in the match was when Angle called a spot. He yells "GRAB THE ROPES" into the camera as he grabs Jericho for a German Suplex try. Of course, Jericho grabs the ropes. :lmao The finish happens when Angle is thrown out, and Kane comes from the crowd to toss him back in. Jericho hits Kurt with the Breakdown to win. Post-match: Kane beats Angle to the floor but Kurt manages to runs away through the crowd. ***

Meanwhile, Ric Flair arrives in his limo, finds out about Arn, and then leaves again.

Hogan chats with a cardboard cutout of the Rock.

raw7.gif

Meanwhile, we reach the peak of culture for the night, as the APA arrive at the Friendly Tap but discover that it’s “Men’s Nightâ€￾ :lmao Bradshaw & Faarooq both act all horrified and play up their southern roots as though everyone south of the Mason-Dixon line was straight, and Billy & Chuck take the opportunity to jump them.

Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Mr. Perfect
This is just depressing to watch, it only goes like 5 minutes and the whole match was pretty much Austin beating up Perfect. I don't want to talk about it anymore :( Post-Match: Scott Hall and his mystery wheelbarrow are back, and we then discover it's a cinderblocks. The NWO beats Austin down, and Hall breaks a suspiciously fragile cinderblock over Austin’s knee to end the show.

It's supposed to be Hardyz/Lita vs. Dudleyz/Stacy, but Stacy has her ankle taped up. Bubba gets on the mic and says she was injured in a photoshoot today, so their new partner is Jazz! SWERVE!

The Hardy Boyz & Lita vs. The Dudley Boyz & Jazz (w/ Stacy Keibler)
Pretty solid opener, Jazz was her usual garbage self but Lita covered up for her, Dudleyz/Hardyz did their usual formula and moves so nothing new here. Lita gets a bad tilt-a-whirl for two. Twist of Fate, but Stacy spinkicks her and Jazz gets the pin. STACY FAKING An INJURY :lmao **1/4

In the back, Taker is watching the tape from Raw of him killing Arn, and flair walks in. He calls him a cold hearted bastard, and Taker says all he wants is a yes. Flair pulls out the tape and throws it against the wall and says he'll get an answer tonight.

Austin comes out to the ring with his knee taped up and a chair, but before he speaks, the NWO comes onto the stage. Austin says the first one on the ring is getting hit in the face with a chair. Hogan says Austin is in no condition to fight, and since Rock isn't here, he's showing who the true icon is. Hogan leaves, and says the other two have Austin well under control. They say Hall should go down there now, but Austin says he'll come to them, without a weapon. He limps up the ramp, but pulls out a FUCKIN' GUN and fires a shoot of net onto Nash, trapping him. Austin punches at Hall, but he kicks Austin in the bad knee, and they leave.

William Regal vs. The Big Show
Regal bumps around for show until and Big Show NO-SELLS stuff, the finish happens when Regal KO’s him with the Knucks but Show falls on Regal for the 3 count. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! *1/2

sd1.gif

In the back, Booker T asks Tajiri and Torrie for advice on his new version of the commercial script YO JAPANESE PEOPLE! WHAT'S THE DEAL WIT' YO NASTY HAIR? JUST BECAUSE YOU KNOW KUNG-FU DOESN'T MEAN YOU KNOW SHAMPOO! Tajiri lets Torrie know, that it is offensive to insult his people's hair when his looks like Buckwheat on crack, and Booker storms off. :lmao

Jericho shines his belt up, but Stephanie thinks it’s beneath him to shine his own belt. She then bitches at him cause she needs him to get along with Kurt then she also throws a BITCH fit because he didn't get the right hand cream. DA FUCK!

WWF Hardcore Championship: Maven vs. Goldust
This was average and the weapons covered up Maven lack of exp, Goldust was good though. Post-match: The Undertaker came down and beat on Maven. This drew out Al Snow to save. *

The Undertaker vs. Al Snow
SQUASH! SQUASH! SQUASH! Taker wins with a Dragon Sleeper. Post-Match: Ric Flair ran down with a pipe and hit Taker repeatedly in the ribs. He got on the mic and said as far as WrestleMania goes, the answer is still no, but if he ever attacks a friend of his again, he'll find him and show him why he is the dirtiest player in the game.

WWF Tag Team Championship: Billy & Chuck vs. The APA
Thankfully we are getting this match now instead of at WrestleMania 18. Anyway this sucked and it's 2 minutes that I’m never going to get back. The finish happens when Billy hits the Fame asser on Faarooq for 3. DUD!

Maven is out and getting worked on. Goldust asks the trainer how he is, and has a ref with him. He says Maven is barely conscious, so Goldust beats on him and pins Maven to win the title. AWESOME!

A video package of Hogan's career is shown, EPIC!

Booker T vs. Scotty 2 Hotty
More Booker SQUASH! matches. Post-Match: As Book celebrates, on the Tron, the shampoo people, Tajiri, and Torrie congratulate Edge on being their new spokesperson, and Booker is displeased.

DDP tells Christian he needs a positive relationship with the fans, so he brings in a little boy and a little girl. He calls Christian ugly, and DDP holds him back from punching the kid. Christian fake laughs it off, and the girl asks why he's such a loser. He says he's a winner, and says if they want a loser, go see their dead. The boy says they don't have a daddy because he left them, kicks Christian, and walks away with his sister. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Stephanie finds Triple H and they discuss the divorce. She says she deserves more, and he says 50% is way too much as it is, given that she squandered her fortune on that piece of crap ECW :lmao. She says she made him, so she deserves not only that but 50% of all he does until he dies.

Triple H & Kane vs. Chris Jericho & Kurt Angle (w/ Stephanie McMahon)
Angle is in “BADASSâ€￾ attire again, YES! IDK what is was but I just couldn't get into this for some reason, maybe it was because KANE was the one getting the heat segment on and Hunter made the hot tag. But at least KANE was selling his ankle injury while it was being worked on but that was completely forgotten when the finish happens. When Stephanie brings a chair into the ring and hits Kane with it, but Kane no-sells it and takes it away and nailed Kurt, then Triple H hit him with the Pedigree to win. **1/2

Have to pick you up on that one Jazz was a great women's wrestler, very rarely put in a bad performance.

Maybe it's because all her matches have been kinda squash matches, so she isn't showing me much. Aside from punch, kick, throw & Fisherman buster.

Going back NWO 2002 was a poor b-level event it was built too much around the return of the NWO featured a number of overbooked or recycled matches.

It was basically the "Backlash" PPV come early.

RVD VS. Goldust feud was a bit poor TBF.

It was one month of Goldust talking about mystery guy which we finish out is RVD he attacks him, RVD attacks the next week then they have the blow off match and that's it

They could have done so much with the Steph/Jericho partneship but boy it was such a waste.

They are making Jericho look like Steph;s BITCH by making him go to stores and collect the right lotion for her. It's AWFUL.

Still things do get better fairly soon.

At this point the only things that are making stll watch it BROCK! debuting soon, the returns of Eddie and Benoit then the SMACKDOWN SIX :mark:

Vince cuts a pre-taped promo say Flair will not be here tonight, so Vince calls this fan appreciation night and he books Angle/Triple H inside a steel cage.

Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Booker T
Austin still has his knee heavily bandaged up after the cinderblock shot to it. This wasn't bad but it wasn't good either, it was an exhibition of Austin’s new chopfeast offense. Half way through the match the NWO come down and they attack Austin but he fights back until Nash pulls him off, but Hall going under the ring and pulls out a monkey wrench and hits Austin right in the head and of course Austin does a blade job. Austin tries to pull himself up but each member takes shots at the open wound. As the NOW are leaving Austin tries to crawls to the ropes but Hall comes back in and punches him in the head then chokes him, and finally ends it with a “Scott Hall Stunnerâ€

Back from a commercial break and Austin is still a bloody mess and doesn't want to get on the stretcher. So he attempts to walk to the back with the help of ref and the ramp way.

Scotty II Hotty & Albert vs. “Perfect Test†Test & Mr Perfect
Before the match Test gets on the MIC and says since it fan appreciation night and he appreciates them and laughs, he said Booker is his usually partner but he’s busy so he picked a “PERFECT†partner and out comes Mr Perfect. Hell this wasn’t that bad really Perfect and Test worked well the finish happens when Scotty hit the worm on Test but Perfect comes in and gives him the Perfectplex for the 3. Post-Match: Perfect continues to beat on Scotty until Albert comes in and attacks both Test and Perfect until Test gives him a big boot but Rikishi comes down and superkicks Test then gives perfect the stinkface. This finally ends with Scotty and Rikishi hugging. *1/2

Coachman interviews Kurt Angle, Angles says he appreciates watching Austin getting beaten the shit out of him. He also appreciates Vince for making this match. He then says Triple H never beat him on Smackdown and tonight he has nothing to lose so he’s in for a lot of trouble.

Goldust is in the ring and cuts a promo calling Maven a simpleton and the 24 hour rule was not forgotten but people was not stupid enough to attack the Undertaker, and people will not be stupid enough to attack him too. But then Tazz’s music hits and he comes out with Miss Jacques the ref.

WWF Hardcore Championship: Goldust vs. Tazz
Standard hardcore match here with only one weapon used the finish happens when Tazz had Goldust in the choke but gets hit in the head with the trash can lid for the 3. 1/2*

In the back the NOW have Austin’s beer cooler and they drinking his beer. Well Nash and Hogan are, Nash said they don’t have any beer left and he’s feeling bored so let’s take a walk and Hall says he isn’t afraid so the leave Austin’s locker room.

Coachman interviews Rob Van Dam; he shows footage of RVD’s 3-way win that gets him his IC title match at Wrestlemania. RVD say he is gonna hit the 5 star and will become the IC Champ, Storm comes in and says he is taking this very serious and RVD says he needs to lighten up so Strom slaps the shit out of him and RVD say that’s cool and walks away.

We then get footage of DDP trying to get Christian life back on track. Then we go backstage and we see Christian doing the DDP smile. DDP says we skipping stage 1 and going to stage 2. Christian then gets a phone call and he says “PULL THE PLUG, THE FASTER SHE DIES THE FASTER I CAN CASH IN CHA-CHING†DDP says pull the plug? Then Christian says “YEAH IT’S GRANMA EDNA THE FASTER SHE ABOUT TO BITE IT (MEANING SHE’S ABOUT TO DIE) DDP gives him the awesome look.

NOW are walking down the Hall way and the see some guy wearing a Austin t-shirt so Hall decides to slap him around. Hogan and Nash pull him off but then lie to him and say the kid flipped him off but he didn’t so Hall beats him up and Nash throws this metal/steel cage on him.

raw2.gif

The Godfather with Ladies are at WWF New York partying.

WWF Woman’s Championship: Trish Stratus vs. Jazz
This is the best I’ve ever seen Jazz looking the ring, everything was brutally AWESOME! And Trish sold everything well including the nasty punch that made Trish just crumble it reminded me of when Foley fell after the first punch during the HIAC match. I loved Trish’s comeback too which was full of energy and the finish of the match was happen when Jazz pulled Trish’s top off reviling this HAWT black bra but she then got her in the STFU but Jazz reaches the ropes but Trish refuses to break the ropes, and gets DQ’ed. *3/4

raw3u.gif

Stephanie is pissed off that Jericho is lost it’s not the Bermuda triangle. She then bitches at him for not being able to find the lotion she wants. Triple H walks in and listens to her moans about he needs her. Anyway Triple has a box in his hands and makes a joke about the size of the box is like her vagina and then tips all the stuff on the floor. He then watches her put lotion on with a “cunning†smile on.

The Undertaker arrives.

The Undertaker comes to the ring, and we get footage of Flair’s pipe attach on him. JR says the reason Flair is not here is because of some big family emergency. And he wonders why the Undertaker is here. Taker gets on the MIC and says he challenged Flair twice and he said NO! Twice so he had to find out what makes Flair tick and that’s why he took out ARN! We even get footage of it. He then says to ensure that Flair was gonna except his challenge he had to push the envelope too far and show the footage of him BEATING THE SHIT OUT OF FLAIR’S OLDEST SON! The best part was when Flair son says “What are you doing?†Taker says “Kicking your ass, what do you think I’m doing†:lmao or when David say let me go and Taker tells him to shut up and punches him in the head. AWESOME! FUCKING SEGMENT

raw4l.gif

Rob Van Dam vs. Lance Storm
Apparently this is a rematch from Sunday Night Heat. This was quite fun when RVD was getting his shit in and when Storm was working the leg, in which RVD sold throughout. I also loved Strom mocking the RVD taut twice. Man RVD’s selling was so on here to the point that he went for the rolling thunder but couldn't do the front flip so he did the leg drop instead. The finish happens when RVD hit the vandaminator just without the steel chair and hits the 5 start for the 3 count. *** - ***1/4

The NWO are backstage and Nash is now drinking coffee and Hall says he’s gonna continue to treat Austin like an animal, Hogan says he showed all the NWO fans appreciation cause the Rock is not here tonight but they have more important things to worry about like who’s gonna wrestle tonight and just as they are about to play ROCK/PAPER/SISORS the coffee guy comes and interrupts. He goes to check the coffee Hall throws his head in the BURNING HOT COFFEE and they start the game with the kid screaming on the floor. Hogan is out first, Nash is out second which means Hall wins and he’s wrestling tonight. :lmao

raw5.gif
adhShYtH.gif

We now get this EPIC ROCK Desire, to the POD “Alive†song.

Hogan is doing his pose and cuts a promo that Rock will be here on Smackdown this week and they need to give him a NWO welcoming. The draw a ball and Hall acts nervous on who it could be.

Scott Hall vs. Spike Dudley
SQUASH! SQUASH! SQUASH! I loved during the match JR was making fun of Hall being drunk for the match and King kept pretending that this was Austin in the ring.

Mark Henry comes out with corn rows, gets a loud pop and leaves. AWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Backstage Steph is crying because Triple H spiked her lotion and Kurt pretends he cannot see it until she tries to touch him and he backs away. Anyway she wants him to “MAKE HIM PAY!â€

adcRWpb2.gif

Steel Cage Match: Kurt Angle vs. Triple H
Angle is in “BADASS†attire again YES! This was quite fun due to Angle bumping like hero for Hunter here. The only think that really hurt this was the lack of direction here it was just two guys doing a bunch of moves with no really story to them or much selling. The finish happens when Hunter hit the pedigree and is about to crawl out but Steph comes out but Teddy long tells her to go back but Teddy turns around and Steph rams his head right into the cage. Then as Hunter is about to get out of the cage she slams the cage door right into his head and Angle starts to take over with violent punches and throwing him, head first into the cage. Anyway as Kurt is about to leave he sees Hunter moving so he goes back in to finishes him off but gets caught with a slingshot into the cage Steph sees this and grabs a chair and slides it into the ring. Double clothesline and Angle goes to pick up the chair but Hunter DDT’s him on it. He then decides to climb over the cage buy Steph gets in and hits him in the kid knees with the chair he falls crotch first on the ropes and she delivers another chair shot to his arms and he falls with the ankle trapped in between the ropes and she drags angle out of the ring for the win. ***

WWF Women's Champion: Jazz

In the back, Flair pounds on Taker's door to come out. But Taker won't let him in cause he's too busy watching to footage of him beating the shit out of Flairs goon, highlighted by the line "Flair your boys a hell of a bleeder, just like ARN! ANDERSON!" Flair screams that this isn't over and says he's going to the ring.

Ric Flair comes down and cuts an amazing promo about how his dream had come true and he was an owner, but Taker pushed him. He said after Arn, he almost said yes, but Arn said not to let Taker get to him because he's too good, and Arn said it because he's his best friend and loves him. He says tonight is David's 23rd birthday, but because of Taker, he's laid up in a bed and can't celebrate. He says Taker's trophy case isn't big enough to hold Ric Flair, the wrestler. He says GODDAMNIT I'M A WRESTLER AGAIN AND AT WRESTLEMANIA, TWO OF US WILL WALK THAT AISLE! YOU LIKE BLOOD? I'LL BLEED I'LL BLEED. He stars punching and slapping himself. "HOLY FUCKING SHIT!" Taker comes out onto the stage. He says Flair's taking all the fun out of this, and he's been thinking since Raw, and he's not sure if he still wants to fight Ric at Mania. He says he's willing to let bygones be bygones and forgive Flair for all he's done to him. Taker says it's like Flair said, he needs to think about it, and he'll give his answers later tonight.

sd1a.gif

Triple H and Stephanie bump into each other again. Hunter then says he's having her stupid Corvette brought here tonight, but he wants his dog Lucy back. Stephanie refuses, since they bought it together, but Triple H says that's bullshit and Lucy hates Stephanie.

WWF Hardcore Championship: Goldust vs. Rob Van Dam
William Regal is on commentary for this match. For 3 minutes this was a hell of a lot better than their PPV match, Goldust debuts the gold trash cans and steel chairs. :lmao the finish happened when Regal punches RVD in the head with the GOLD knuckles which allows Goldust to get the roll-up and the 3. **

Jericho is upset that Steph has him doing all her shit. So Stephanie gives Jericho a gift of Triple H's first ever entrance robe given to him by Killer Kowalski, and they HUG! AHHHHHHH!

sd2.gif

Booker T vs. Tajiri (w/ Torrie Wilson)
This actually wasn't that bad Tajiri sold all of Booker's offense well, his comeback was pretty great too with stiff sounding kicks. The match ends when Booker hits the axe kick for the 3 count. Post-Match: Booker keeps beating on Tajiri, but Edge runs down for the save, and he Spears Booker T. *3/4

THIS JUST AIRED!

The Rock comes out to the ring and he gets on the MIC. He says he was so obsessed with getting his match at Mania, and obsessed with what Hogan was, that he forgot what Hulk Hogan IS. He is a "bitter, self-centred, jaded son of a bitch, and that was his mistake". He says Hogan knows The Rock is better than him, and Hogan's mistake was not finishing The Rock when he had the chance. He calls out Hogan to finish him off TONIGHT! The NWO comes onto the stage and Hogan says he wants Rock to have no excuses at Mania, and he's too nice of a guy to take advantage of a crippled Rock. The NWO has a huddle, and Hall says he's not too nice to do it, Rock vs. Hall YONIGHT!

The Undertaker vs. Al Snow/Maven
SQUASH! SQUASH! SQUASH! The match ends while Taker is beating the shit out of Maven he hits him with the Snake Eyes and the big boot which gets two, chokeslam gets another two after Taker picks him up to stop the count, so Taker ends it with a dragon sleeper. Post-Match: Taker gets on the mic and says his answer to Flair is yes, but he wants Flair to come out and beg him for the match. Flair runs out and attacks him, and Taker goes into the crowd so Flair goes after him as Flair swings at Taker, but he ducks and Flair punches out a fan. Security holds him back, and Taker leaves smiling. DUD!

sd3.gif

Kane vs. Chris Jericho (w/ Stephanie McMahon)
For 3 maybe 3 and a half minutes this was solid thanks to Jericho bumping on KANE's power moves. The finish happens when Angle sneaks down to hit an Angle Slam on Kane, and Jericho hits the Lionsault to win. Post-Match: Kane fights Kurt off to the back, and Stephanie gives Chris the belts and the robe. Triple H runs down and Jericho gets in a few punches before Triple H throws him out. He then tries to Pedigree Stephanie, but Jericho pulls her to safety. **

In the back, the cops show up with the fan that Flair hit, and he says he's pressing charges. THAT ASSHOLE. So they have to put Flair under arrest (WHAT KINDA COP HAS TO READ THE RITES AND DOESN'T KNOW THEM OFF BY HEART) :hm:. Taker steps out from the shadows, watching and laughing. Elsewhere Angle and KANE are still fighting backstage and Kurt gets the upper hand and slams the metal door on his midsection or kid knees, Kurt continues the stomp him out then finally grabs a chair and hits KANE in the back of the head.

sd4v.gif

Lita vs. Stacy Keibler
Stacy is using the EPIC “Legsâ€￾ song by Kid Rock here. Just a shame the match was a Meh! Stacy looked HAWT though! And she hit the badass spin kick, anyway Lita wins with and backdrop Post-match: Lita says she's coming for the Women's Title, Stacey attacks her and hits the moonsault on her so Jazz runs down and lays her out. Best moment of this was Cole saying “that dirty woman’s championâ€￾ :lmao

Triple H shows Stephanie to her Corvette, but it's been sawed in half. She throws a fit, and he says it was 50/50 like everything else, so he's not sure which half she wanted. :lmao

The Rock vs. Scott Hall
3/4 Minutes not doing much, it's like they just didn't want to do anything cause and just waited for the DQ-Run in to happen. They attack Rock's ribs in a 3 on 1, before Austin runs down with a chair to clear the ring. The NWO back up the ramp, and Vince McMahon comes out and books Rock/Austin vs. NWO on Raw. HOLY SHIT! THAT'S A PPV LEVEL MATCH. Rock and Austin then drink to end the show. DUD!

Re: WWF/E's Raw, Smackdown & PPV's 2002

Keith

Maybe it's because all her matches have been kinda squash matches, so she isn't showing me much. Aside from punch, kick, throw & Fisherman buster.

It was basically the "Backlash" PPV come early.

It was one month of Goldust talking about mystery guy which we finish out is RVD he attacks him, RVD attacks the next week then they have the blow off match and that's itThey are making Jericho look like Steph;s BITCH by making him go to stores and collect the right lotion for her. It's AWFUL.

At this point the only things that are making stll watch it BROCK! debuting soon, the returns of Eddie and Benoit then the SMACKDOWN SIX :mark:

Also think she played the killer heel gimmick to perfection, simple but effective.

Just commented on the Goldust/RVD feud because at the time it seemed like quite a good idea, but so little thought was put into it like you say.

P.S. Before I review the show I should add I have the "EPIC" WWE 24/7 high quality one.

Rob Van Dam & The Hardy Boyz vs. William Regal & The Dudley Boyz
Really good 4 minute opener here with an extremely hot finish. Jeff takes 3D, but Matt gets the Twist of Fate on D-Von, Bubba gets a Bubbabomb on Matt, Rob missile dropkicks him, and then finishes Regal with the frog splash. **1/2

The Board of Directors has called an emergency meeting. Vince and Flair glare at each other across the table in the emergency meeting. Vince says this ship cannot have two captains, and one of them has to lead and only one. He says tonight, he'll prove Flair is in the wrong state of mind to run this company, and it should be him alone in charge.

Kurt Angle comes out and gets on the mic. and says Kane committed a robbery two weeks ago, and Kurt showed him what happens when you rob him of a title shot. He calls himself the big red, white, and blue machine, and says he'll fight Kane at WrestleMania. Kurt then calls the people stupid, and Booker T comes down to the ring and says the people are beyond stupid, and cost him his endorsement deal. He complains about having no Mania match, and Edge comes out and says for a man with Book in his name, it's astonishing that Booker T has never read one. Edge challenges Booker to a match at Mania, and they challenge Edge to find a partner for later, with Kane gone. (I must add Kurt was a BOSS! during he did his own spin-a-roni & he also did some rhyming skill)

raw2.gif

Stephanie has Hunter's dog Lucy with her. Steph seems to hate her, Triple H comes in all happy and picks up the dog and talks in baby talk to it. Stephanie says it's her dog officially now, since she told the judge how H beat Lucy and didn't feed her, so she got a court order. H then shoves Lucy back at Stephanie, and says "you were right, she does smell, doesn't she, Lucy?" He says if she ever messes with his dog, there will be hell to pay. :lmao

Rikishi vs. Test
Rikishi slugs away and gets a pair of clotheslines, but misses the boot and gets superkicked. Samoan drop and butt splash set up Cheeks of Fire, but Perfect runs in and allows the Big Boot to finish. UGH! DUD!

Jericho arrives and he and Steph talk about how much Lucy smells, they find out Lucy took a SHIT on the carpet. So Steph makes Jericho walk Triple H's dog.

Jericho takes Lucy for a walk, while carrying his belts with him, HAHAHAHA! he then ties her to a limo and just walks off. Meanwhile, DDP & Christian work on smiling. Billy & Chuck come up and imply that DDP & Christian are "THOSE KIND OF PEOPLE". :lmao Christian challenges Billy to a match tonight to snap this losing streak.

raw3.gif

At WWE HQ, Vince shows the board the footage from SD of the Flair/Taker fight, with Flair accidentally punching a fan.

WWF Hardcore Championship: Goldust vs. Al Snow
This was like a minute long. Al Snow won the title with a Snow Plow on the gold trash can. DUD!

In the parking lot, Jericho watches as Lucy is stuck to the door handle still. Stephanie is on the phone and orders him to go get air freshener. He gets in the limo and the limo drives off but squeaking and barking is heard and it is implied that the limo driver ran over the dog. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

In the parking lot, Triple H runs over as Jericho has fled, and the dog is stuck under the car but still alive. He tells Lucy to hold on as help is coming, and it cuts away. :lmao

Edge & The Big Show vs. Kurt Angle & Booker T
This was alright nothing special. The finish happens when Angle dumps Edge on the floor, but Show tries to chokeslam him, only to get Booker’s sidekick in the face and put in the ankle locked, so he taps. *1/2

In the back, Steph freaks out at Jericho about how much Hunter loves that dog, and Jericho says he has a plan.

Christian (w/ Diamond Dallas Page)vs. Billy Gunn (w/ Chuck)
This was pretty bad thanks to Billy being alive, god that guy sucks. Anyway Christian wins after DDP sneaks in with a Diamond Cutter and Christian covers. Post-Match: They celebrate, but Christian turns on him by hitting DDP with a Reverse Falling DDT from behind and beat him down with punches then finishes it with the unprettier. *

At WWE HQ, Vince again pleads his case, and Linda says the board needs to go and deliberate.

Trish Stratus & Lita vs. Jazz & Stacy Keibler
WEAK~! Match Jazz rolls-up Lita for the win. Stacy looked ridiculously hawt. Oh and during the match we are told via JR that Lucy the dog only suffered a broken FREAKIN' leg.

Stephanie comes down to the ring and says she and Jericho meant no harm to Lucy, and it was an accident, and Triple H comes out PISSED! He tries to Pedigree her, BUT JERICHO HITS H IN THE QUAD WITH A SLEDGEHAMMER! Hunter tries to gets up slowly but Jericho runs out hit him in the quad again, trying to take it out again for good. Triple H clutches his quad muscle in pain, worried that it may be detached again. HOLY SHIT! that was good IDK why it took them that long to make Jericho look like a play, hell why did it take those 3 months for someone to go after Triple H's quad?

raw4.gif
raw5.gif

During the break, Triple H is helped up the ramp. He gets on the stage, and Jericho runs and clips the knee again. AWESOME!

At WWE HQ, Linda asks Flair if he's going through with the Mania match, and he says yes. Therefore, the board is suspending him of his powers until after Mania, when they will then review this decision. Flair gets up to make a speech and says he could not stand by and allow what Taker did to his friend and his family to stand, and his first duty is to protect his family, no matter what, and nobody in this room will ever strip him of his pride.

raw1.gif

The Rock & Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. The NWO
Standard tag formula here, Nash looked horrible every punch he threw was way off. Hulk looked below average. and the amazing thing is Hall was the only one that looked respectable. Austin wasn't motivated like he should have been but thankfully Rock's bumping and selling with energetic comeback kind of saved this. The Rock tries to throw punches and Hogan won’t sell, and he finally finishes with the big boot and legdrop. SWERVE! **1/4

We get a video recap to show what happen to poor Lucy's leg and to what happen to Triple H's quad on Raw.

Kurt Angle vs. Rob Van Dam
A really fun back-and-forth match here, with neither guy being able to stay in control. For long periods of time. RVD went up top for the Five-Star Frog Splash, but William Regal ran to ringside to distract him. This allowed Angle to run the top rope and deliver the belly-to-belly suplex. Angle then applied the ankle lock, and Van Dam tapped out! Post-Match: Kurt and Regal stomped away at Van Dam but Kane comes down for the save but is met on the ramp by Angle and Kane, they slugged it out into the ring, where Kane knocked Angle to the outside. Regal tried to attack Kane but he gets chokeslammed instead. **1/2

Mr. McMahon spoke on his cell phone, saying he couldn't wait for WrestleMania. Ric Flair then entered his locker room, and asked why Vince wanted to see him. Vince said he wanted Flair to see the man who had complete authority in the Federation. He then makes the match against Taker at WrestleMania a NoDq man. Before leaving, Flair called Vince a piece of SHIT!

Billy Gunn (w/ Chuck) vs. Jeff Hardy (w/ Matt Hardy & Lita) vs. Bubba (w/ D-Von Dudley & Stacy Keibler) vs. Bradshaw (w/ Faarooq)
This was an average match, nothing special. I really couldn't get into it mainly because I'm not a fan of any of these guys, individually. The ending happen when as all hell breaks loose and everyone is brawling on the outside, Billy hit the "One and only" on Jeff and picked up the pitfall with his feet on the ropes. Post-Match: Lita hit Billy with a top-rope Litacanrana, and Stacy then attacked Lita which left everyone else still brawling while Billy & Chuck escaped. *

Lillian asked why Christian had turned on Diamond Dallas Page after DDP had helped Christian end his losing streak and had helped him win his match on RAW. Christian said he had won the match on RAW on his own. He said yes, DDP had helped him get back on the winning track, but after he started winning again, he didn't need DDP anymore. Christian said that DDP had used him too he also never forgot DDP took his European Championship. DDP snuck up behind him, and said that Christian should have just asked for a rematch for the European Title. DDP suggested that the two meet this Sunday at WrestleMania, and Christian agreed.

Lita was in her locker room when she was approached by Trish Stratus, who apologized for accidentally kicking her on RAW. Lita said it was no problem, but there would be no accidents at WrestleMania when she walked out as Women's Champion. Trish then says that she would be the one winning the Women's Championship, and the two then got into a slapping match, which turned into an all-out brawl in the locker room!

Vince McMahon was again talking on the cell phone in his office when there was a knock at door, and this time, it was Ric Flair's oldest son, David! Vince said David looked better than the last time he saw him, when Undertaker beat the hell out of him on last week's episode of RAW. :lmao Vince says he called David because he was giving David the opportunity of a lifetime. Vince said that on SmackDown!, David Flair would be taking on the Undertaker! He thanked Vince for the opportunity, but said he would pass. Vince told David that this was his chance to become a bona fide superstar and to follow in his dad's footsteps. Vince celebrated the making of the match, and moments later, the Undertaker entered Vince's locker room with a huge smile on his face!

Hardcore Championship: Al Snow vs. Big Show
Kind of a mess here, I did enjoy the spot when Snow rolled a bowling ball between Show's legs. The match ends when Show hits Snow with a huge chokeslam, but was attacked by Goldust when he went for the pin! Maven then ran to the ring as Goldust clocked Snow with a trashcan lid! Show knocked Goldust to the outside, and Maven dropkicked Show to the outside, which allows Maven to cover Snow and win the Hardcore Championship! DUD!

sd1a.gif

Hogan comes down to the ring and says. He said he'd seen every "next big thing" step through the ring and say they would kill Hulkamania. He says Roddy Piper, the Ultimate Warrior and Andre the Giant as men who failed to kill Hulkamania, they all fell victim to the same thing that Rock fell victim to on RAW. Hogan said the only thing that ever came close to killing Hulkamania was the Hulkamaniacs. He said that when the people decided to leave him, they almost killed it. But he said that he realized one thing "that he didn't need the fans". Hogan then says that when he beats Rock at WrestleMania, a terrifying thought would enter Rock's mind, he would realize that he was ordinary and common, just like the fans Hogan said that Rock was just like the millions and millions of Rock's fans who thought they could put Hogan out, only to fall victim to Hollywood! He then asks to see the footage of him beating Rock on Raw for a 3rd time but instead The Rock comes out instead. He said Hogan could beat him in a tag or run him down in a semi, but there was no way Hogan would win at WrestleMania. He said Rock would be getting in the ring with him, who had beaten him for the 1-2-3. Hogan admitted that Rock was better than the rest, and that the two of them were responsible for the biggest match in the history of wrestling. Hogan said there was just one question that he had asked of every opponent "Whatcha gonna do when Hulkamania runs wild on you? “Rock stared down Hollywood, and said he would tell him what he was going to do. Rock then walked to the ring and stood nose-to-nose with Hogan. Rock said that this Sunday at WrestleMania, he would put an end to Hogan's legend, and would go down in history as being the best ever. Rock said if he were Hogan, he would say his prayers, if ya smell what The Rock is cookin'! Then they had an EPIC faceoff until Hogan decides to leave. AWESOME FUCKIN' SEGMENT!

sd2.gif

Booker T & Test vest Edge & Tajiri (w/Torrie Wilson)
Really short and forgettable match, could have been so much more. The finish happens when Edge hit the Edge-e-cution on Test, but Booker caught Edge with a scissors kick and picked up the pinfall! Post-Match: Test held up Edge and forced him to watch Booker do the spinerooni! Booker then hit a kick to the back of Edge's head. *1/2

Coach asked Austin about his match with Scott Hall at WrestleMania. Austin said he wasn't nervous because it wasn't his first WrestleMania. He says Scott Hall had pissed him off, and now he would go into Toronto and open a can of whoopass on the sumbitch. Scott Hall headed to the stage, interrupting the Rattlesnake. Hall says Stone Cold didn't have to hide in the back. He said Austin was telling the whole world what he was going to do to Scott Hall. Hall also tells him maybe he should show the whole world just what Scott Hall did to him on Monday's RAW. We then get footage of it. Hall said he heard from Austin that he was the toughest S.O.B. in the Federation. He challenged Austin to prove it. He said that if Austin had something to say to him, he should say it to his face. He said he wasn't going anywhere until Austin came out, well Hall gets his wish and Austin comes out. But a referee briefly ran out to the stage, and Kevin Nash was apparently waiting next to the stage with a steel chair, because Nash thought the ref was Austin and went after him with the chair. He then realizes it wasn't Stone Cold, so he decides to run from the stage, and Stone Cold then attacked Hall from behind in the ring and hits him with a Stunner and flipped him off, before Nash chased Austin away with the steel chair! Really good segment here.

Steph asked Jericho, what he thought Triple H's announcement on SmackDown! Would be. Jericho says The Game would probably announce his retirement. Stephanie said it was like music to her ears. Jericho then says that the sound of the sledgehammer hitting Triple H's leg and The Game's screams were like music to his ears. Jericho says when Triple H did announce his retirement later in the night, he wanted he and Stephanie to be there up close and personal.

The Undertaker vs. David Flair
SQUASH! SQUASH! SQUASH! Ric Flair runs to the ring and attacked Taker, ending the bout in a DQ! Taker met Ric Flair with a boot and knocked him to the outside, and as David went after Taker, Taker knocked him down with a punch. Taker then went to give David the Last Ride, but Ric hit Taker with a steel chair to save his son.

Triple H headed to the ring with a limp. He said that Y2J did not get the job done. He said 10 months ago, Y2J had put him in the Walls of Jericho on the announce table after he tore his quad trying to take him out of the business, but Jericho had failed. Jericho had tried again on Monday night, and again had failed. Triple H he says he was 100 present, and there was something Jericho didn't realize that "pain is temporary, but The Game is forever". OH SHIT! He said this Sunday, he would go to WrestleMania's main event, and he would kick Jericho's ass and become the Undisputed World Champion. But Jericho mockingly clapped for Triple H, saying it was a great performance. But he asked Triple H if he was actually certain that he was ready to face the living legend in the main event of WrestleMania for the most prestigious title in history. Jericho says maybe Triple H was lying to himself and to the fans. He said Stephanie and he thought Triple H wasn't being completely honest. Stephanie took the microphone, and said that Hunter never was a very good liar. She said she had called Dr. Jim Andrews on Tuesday morning aka the same doctor who repaired Triple H's torn quad last May. She said the doctor was sad to hear about their marital problems, and was even sorrier to give Stephanie the prognosis. Dr Andrews told her he had gotten a call from the orthopedic surgeon in Detroit who had checked on Triple H after RAW. Dr. Andrews told her that Triple H's quad was barely held together by wires, and the sledgehammer shot had put The Game's leg in such bad shape that one false move, and the wires could snap. Stephanie said that one miscalculation by The Game at WrestleMania could end his career forever. Jericho says he took credit for all the hell that Triple H went through, and said all the rehab was for nothing, since he said he would end Triple H's career at WrestleMania. The Game admitted that he wasn't 100 present, and that the doctors had said that his quad was hanging on by a thread, and that one mistake and his career was over. But Triple H then added that this Sunday, he didn't care if it was his last step or his last match or his last damn breath he would be at WrestleMania to stand across the ring from Chris Jericho.

Jericho comes running down and he and Triple H start going punch-for-punch with each other. Triple H then gets the upper hand and knocked Y2J to the outside, but as he did so, they continue to fight on the outside, and then Triple H pulled the top off the announce table. But Stephanie sneaks up from behind and kicked his injured leg. Triple H no sells it as Stephanie tried to run away, but The Game caught her and tossed her on the announce table. He was about to Pedigree her through the table when Jericho smacked The Game in the leg with the WWF title. Which allows Stephanie to get away to safety as Jericho climbed onto the announce table and locked Triple H in the Walls of Jericho SHADES of what he did 10 months ago, when Hunter first tore his quad! HOLY SHIT! Triple H begins to tap out as Stephanie talked talks shit and Jericho stands on the table as Triple H sells. HOLY FUCKING SHIT! The great/amazing segment to sell a PPV.
