It will be announced on tonight's Friday Night Smackdown, that next week's Monday Night Raw will be "The Ultimate Warrior Tribute Show".

Eager to see what the WWE has planned.

3 hours of wallowing in despair seems like overkill tbh, kind of kill the momentum that was started the week before.

I'm not expecting an Eddie Guerrero or Beniot like tribute show but probably just like an appreciation night where they show a few of his best clips after commercials and that's all.

They'll probably have Hogan say a few words about the guy since they reconciled recently. Probably a lot of the legends that were shaking their heads at him at the HOF might record some clips talking about how great he was.

Have no issue with that, not sure what the significance of Florida is, if it was Arizona, I'd get it.

I'm thinking the RAW tribute will be a deal where certain guys can wear facepaint or tassels... maybe have Batista come out in the whole get-up and shake the ropes like crazy. Big E already does the splash so I'm sure they'll let him get a clean pin off of that. I don't think it will hurt anything they've done...

I'm expecting them to show short highlights going in and out of commercial breaks through the night, maybe a couple full segments at the open and close to honor the man. I'd be good seeing them make the night one of career highlights and matches, but I get the feeling that would be more for the special being produced for the WWE Network.

I can't see them doing one of those shows where they have people speak about him. Not many are left, even amongst road agents, that ever interacted with him much.

Seriously, I disliked his promo on Raw. The end is rivetin' but whole leather jacket with a suit thing was just a terrible lookin'. However lookin' back now I feel his words were quite ominous though. I feel bad for how I was reactin' durin' the segment now. I've had several conversations with people this last week about his career and I guess it's a theme to pretend he didn't suck now. Statin' actual opinions and thoughts that weren't positive were really looked down upon. Oh well, they can pretend, I'll stay in the real.

Still RIP nonetheless.

I thought it was a pretty good promo myself. The guy was basically out there saying how no matter what anyone does, it's the fans that decide who they like and what they want. Fans' reactions are part of what makes a special moment legendary, make them seem even bigger by the stories they tell about those big spots or some promo from their childhood.

I get there being some resentment at the fans seemingly wanting to be part of the show, but the thing is they are. The WWE did a perfect commercial spot on what the "Yes" movement would be like without a rabid crowd embracing that. The message I got from that was him asking the fans to engage the show vocally and for the wrestlers to remember they are there to make those fans happy.

Who really gives a shit about a duster or a suit if the guy's just out there to talk?

WWE sent two senior officials to Arizona to help The Ultimate Warrior’s wife Dana following Warrior’s unexpected death this past week.

According to a report by TMZ, the company sent the employees “almost immediately” after Warrior’s death with the task of helping Dana with the little things such as grocery shopping and informing family members so she can focus on her daughters.

Classy and unprecedented gesture on WWE's part. Pretty weird how they are doing this with Warrior's family considering how they handled Pillman and Owens death,....Vince either getting soft in his old age, or Trips and Steph are taking the reigns on this one.

I would imagine it's more of a Trips thing as the guy whether you hate him or love him seems to be taking steps into trying to resolve old grudges like Bruno, Warrior and to some extent Hogan.

Either way, it's still a great gesture

His death deeply saddens me because we had just seem him inducted into the WWE of Hal of Fame and he then appeared on Raw. I can't get over his speech because it pretty much foreshadowed his death. It's unfortunate that so many wrestlers from my childhood are dying. :(

RIP Ultimate Warrior
