apparently Wheldon had to cut a good 30 minutes out of this. One of the scenes involving Capt. America & an older Peggy was referred to by Wheldon as "the best scene in the movie" but was cut due to not really adding to the plot. All 30 minutes are planned for the DVD release.

I saw it the other night, was fucking in credible, and the after/midcredit scene sets up the second one perfectly

Seen it Saturday. It is a 2 and a half hour hard on. And as much as I hate 3D, I saw it in 3D and it worked well for it.

I saw it with some friends this past Sunday afternoon, and I must say that it was fantastic. Perfect mix of action, and humor.

RDJ always delivers as Stark/Iron Man, but I thought Mark Ruffalo as Banner/Hulk stole the show.

Absolutely fantastic film. Whedon is a genius. Not that I didn't know this already. The way he beautifully crafted each character equal story time and focus. Incredible. I didn't think I'd like the film as much as I did, but I enjoyed the shit out of that film.

Also I've joined LB in repping a character from Avengers.

I got it on bootleg a couple days ago. Loved it. I'm a bit dissapointed that Wasp and Giant Man weren't even mentioned but eh. Banner/Hulk scenes were great.

This is going to be an amazing year for movies but The Avengers is definitely a candidate for MOTY. I truly just loved it. I'm glad to see HEEL supporting Black Widow, she was honestly one of my favorite characters in it. First came Iron Man of course, Loki was magnificent in his role, then Widow and Hawkeye just out of nowhere stole the movie! Everyone else was amazing in there roles too, especially Mark Ruffalo as Banner. I was sad to hear Norton wasn't reprising the role at first but out of the 3 recent Hulk's we've had Ruffalo has been the best.

Something that I really enjoyed about this movie as apposed to a superhero movie like The Dark Knight which I absolutely loved, is how many times I actually laughed! The movie was pretty damn funny. Especially Hulk punching Thor!

I don't know if this would've been as great if Whedon weren't involved, how can you not love that mans work?

I am definitely picking up the DVD! 30 more minutes? I'm down for that. Also, I searched everywhere for a sig like yours, that scene was just made to be a sig!

If you stuck around past the credits then you should know that there most certainly will be. Even if they never had that little hint towards it, the movie is doing amazing so I'm sure they would cash in on that.

Apparently that was Thanos, I imagine big Marvel fans that know of him marked out. I wish I could've but I'm more of a DC guy... Lol
