It is good that they are holding steady again against the NFL but hitting 1.0 ratings after consistently hitting 1.2's and above before they went live isn't good at all. Would like to see them delay the start by an hour for a month to see what happens with the ratings.

- Thursday’s episode of TNA Impact Wrestling scored a 0.99 cable rating, rounded up to a 1.0, with 1.265 million viewers. This is the fourth straight week that the Impact rating has rounded to a 1.0.

- Thursday night's episode of iMPACT! Wrestling drew an average of 1,265,000 viewers. That is down slightly from 1,340,000 last week. In terms of the 18 – 49 demographic, the show was even with last week's, both sitting at a 0.4 which is about average for the show.

Still staying steady at that 1.0 rating.

With their biggest PPV of the year coming up it will be interesting if they can increase the rating building up to that PPV. This should be their best work so it should appeal to more people but they can't see to get away from that 1.0 rating.

Heard TNA was improving and was checking it out, and boy did it turn to shit real fast.

Aces & 8s are killing the shows and they don't build up anything anymore. Isn't their biggest PPV on the way? This is where they should be doing their best work and it looks like people in creative are saying "fuck it".

TNA Impact Wrestling drew a 0.84 rating, down from a 0.99 rating. Impact averaged 1.058 million viewers.

Absolutely fucking terrible, this is the worst rating of the year, .05 lower than one of the ones during the DirecTV/Viacom dispute that was the previous lowest.

Hopefully this is a way of saying "were sick of tired of Hogan being in the main event slot, so were not watching live".

I don't think so, and besides, I've actually been okay with Hogan as GM so far, he's putting over talent like Aries and Roode real nice, don't think he's doing as good as Sting was, but I don't really have much of a problem as long as he's not wrestling any.

The problem I see is that Hogan's segments are always the cheesiest and the ones that make the least amount of sense. Rather than focussing on the wrestling they involve terrible storylines. Surely at BFG the Aces and Eights storyline will come to fruition so that they can move forward rather than having this silly kidnapping angle again. It is a terrible rating.

- In what has to be disappointing news going into the biggest event of the year, Thursday’s episode of Impact Wrestling drew 1,118,000 viewers for a 0.86 rating. In comparison, the Vice Presidential debate drew 51.4 million viewers and the Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Tennessee Titans NFL game drew around 5.6 million viewers.

Another poor rating. BFG's buyrate will probably be one of the lowest in the last few years,it's been built up so horribly.

They have done a poor effort considering they actually did put more time into building this PPV and it should be huge considering it is a milestone show. Weak rating but I am stunned at the VP debate rating.

Last night's (Oct. 18, 2012) episode of Impact Wrestling scored just a 1.0 rating and an average of 1.25 million viewers for the two-hour show on Spike TV. That's the lowest for a post-Bound for Glory (BFG) episode in the last five years.

In fact, last year's post-BFG show did a record 2.02 million viewers.

There are obvious differences to consider when factoring in this year's rating. The MLB playoffs on FOX did six million viewers for the San Francisco Giants vs. St. Louis Cardinals game. Plus, the NFL Network had a Thursday Night Football game pitting the San Francisco 49ers against the Seattle Seahawks, which won the entire night on cable with seven million viewers.

Last year, TNA faced no competition from the NFL at this time.

Guess you could say at least it wasn't as low as last week's.

This week’s episode of iMPACT Wrestling scored a final cable rating of 0.97 which represented about 1,187,000 viewers over the course of the show’s two hours.

There were against some pretty big competition and remained stready. Still losing out quite a bit on what they were getting the same time last year and that was without the extra cost and pressure of going live.

Shocked the rating didn't take a bigger hit with the competition. Looks like TNA has their little niche who will watch no matter what, they just need to find a way to get some casual viewers tuning in weekly.

Rating stays the same, still can't break through that 1.0 mark. Surely someone in the TNA head office realises that their fans prefer the 9pm start.

-- Thursday night's episode of iMPACT! Wrestling scored a 1.03 (1.0) cable rating, with 1.27 million viewers. Those numbers are up 7% and basically even, respectively, with the 0.95 and 1.25 million viewers the previous week did. The show ranked #39 among cable shows in overall viewers, #21 among males 18 - 34 and #19 among males 18 - 49. The show was up slightly in the male 18 - 49 and adult 18 - 49 ratings but down among males 12 - 17.

Right at the 1.0 mark, still not good ratings, just don't see them improving any time soon.
