I was never a fan of Steph post-2000 anyway, she really sucked during that inaugural Smackdown GM run.

I don't really agree with that. She grew up so much from Test's GF to being such a dominant force it should be be recgonized especially when it wasn't really bad until that whole McMahon/A-Train garbage. Which I wouldn't really blame her for.

I think she did okay and there have been certain segments where she did impress me, but I just think after awhile she got a bit boring and her time has passed as an onscreen character.

And your point is? Who says she has to be? Fans are more interested in WWE legends who have been there and done it on major ppvs than they are a non-wrestler who just happens to have family ties.

No one says she has to be. Is it just me or do you seem hostile over something rather trivial? My point is it's something fresh and it has potential to be interesting depending on what way they took her character's direction. There isn't much more to it really.

^I hope that was sarcasm :p

I would also love to see someone who hasn't been guessed here. Surprise always makes for good tv.

The whole GM shtick is kind of old.. am I the only who really isn't that interested in the whole "GM" gimmick anymore?

I've said that a couple times in this thread. Seriously, they talk about how much power the Board of Directors have, just have them make the matches. Show the graphics at the beginning of the show, no need for segments with the GM.

Thats the option I would be most happy with with. Just clear, cut, and too the point.

And honestly, the Anonymous GM kinda' did that. I've always said that it was the concept of the computer GM, not the execution that was bad. Think about how many segments we actually had involving the GM that weren't just Cole reading out a decision. Very little, it was mainly to the point.

Yeah, I think the GM idea was decent when they first initiated the brand split but for the past few years its really kind of been mundane and trivial.
