Sure Benoit earned it, I never said he didn't. It was a great feel good story about someone who has busted his ass for a long time and finally get recognized for it.

Did he deserve it? Yes. Was he a great champion? No.

his Match with umaga at NYR 2007 was shit, the RR2007 was about 7/10 not the greatest LMS match i have seen.

his Matches with Khali are pretty crap as Khali matches are. Plus they don't even go the world championship matches length that they should go for..

benoit was a great champion because A... all the matches he defended it on PPV was excellent or Really Great and can wrestle without needing No dq rules in the matches.

Atl;east benoit was a great Champion while Cena is a paper champion...

if he wasn't getting chicks to cheer or lil Kids cheering... he wouldnt be in the position he's at right now with he so called wrestling skills.....

He probaably be jobbing to snitsky or the miz......
