2015 World War 3 60% of population dead?

John Titor is a time traveler from the year 2036, he was sent on a mission to time travel to 1975 to get some time of IBM Computer.

He was stopped at the year 2000 for personal issues he said. Hes been on radio, newspapers and many other things.

Hes told people many things that were gonna happen in 2004, 2005, etc in the future.

And you know what, they all pretty much happened like hed said.

He said World War III was going to start in the year 2015, with Russia attacking US. USA he says will lose. And Washington and many important cities destroyed.

By the end of the war, 3 billion were dead. Which is About 60% the world's population because it WAS a NUCLEAR WAR. Russia did drop Nuclear Bombs on the USA. And Russia has the most powerful nuclear bombs followed by China and USA.

China is to invade and conquer Japan, Both Koreas and some other country.

I mean he came in 2000, and his predictions were for 2003+.. And the years have passed, we are in 2007, and his predictions were actually true. Why not the world war 3 prediction?

Any thoughts? Do you belieave this?

This is garbage for two reasons. The first being his wiki article containing his predictions? Welll I read the first half up until 2004 and realised that none of that had actually happened. So bullshit.

The second reason, and I am going to attempt to keep the science in this down to a minimum is that time travel is impossible because time does not exist. If you want to learn more I suggest you read up on some quantum physics and quantum mechanics. I don't really feel like writing what will amount to a 10 page post.

Yes that is true, but. You have to realise that they wouldn't fire them at anyone else aside from each other really. That would devastate a great deal of the world's population, but it would not destroy everyone.

Also regarding Russia. They have enough problems right now that a war even in the next 10 years is not in their best interests. Ever since the fall of communism and the break up of the USSR, Russia has been a shadow of its former self and is really no longer a world power. I mean they couldn't even handle the uprisings in their own satellite countries after it was all said and done. Their army is next to useless and very old. Basically the point here is Russia while still powerful compared to most other countries has a lot more to worry about than the US on another continent. Like China, whom I'm sure is rather disappointed still that their communist brothers have fallen by the way side.

Yeah that's pretty much the gist of it. Anybody can predict anything if the make it vague enough.

Odds are there will be a World War 3, but I personally have a very difficult time believing that nuclear weapons will be used again. They are used to be deterrants and they are effective for that purpose but I have a very difficult time believing that someone would be insane enough to fire the missles themselves. They would be condemning their entire country to death pretty much.

That's not even mentioning the safet precautions they take with nukes already. Hell the President of the US can't just decide to fire nukes arbitrarily, he has this little card with an 8 digit number on it which he has to read to give the order which would then need to be confirmed by I think its a cabinet member who would also read the 8 digit number from the card in order for a strike to actually be launched.

The idea of one insane genocidal fool is plausible, but the likelyhood of there being two of them is a very long shot.
