Actually, I've been in that position before, and trust me, I was being selfish. The only way you can live life to the fullest, is the way you choose it. And people always see the EASY way out. Key word, easy. They never think beyond that and that's where the problem begins.
But why shouldn't people take the easy way? Why always the hard? If you're thinking about suicide, hasn't life been already hard enough? And technically, theres nothing bad about suicide if no-one will miss you.

Even if there are people who will miss you, are those people "happier" knowing a loved one is miserable and wants to kill themselves but only refraining because they worry how it might depress others? Wouldn't your loved ones want what was best for you, and be happier for you knowing you got what you want instead of doing what you don't want just to appease them?

People need to think before they act. Even when it seems everyone might hate you, it's not entirely true. And if you did take the easy way out, you're gaining nothing. As I said in the OP, it just shows how we are getting weaker morally and mentally. This is you're a teen or young by the way.

Totally true. If my friend would want to kill him/herself (actually I do have a couple of that kind of friends) I would definitely try to give them reasons why not to, but in the end if its better for him/her, I would never force them to live. I would be a bad friend. But then again, aren't I a bad friend, if im not able to talk my friend out of suicide? I've had this dilemma for a while now, I'd be interested to hear peoples opinions about it.

To be honest, I am kinda fine with that, but young people who are getting bullied that are going around and drinking bleach and hanging them selves is stupid.

And what if they had genuine psychological disorders that caused them not to be able to react correctly to the circumstances? That's a factor for a lot of young suicides, if not most.

Yes suicide could be looked at the "easy way out", but think about what the person is thinking whilst contemplating it. They don't know what else to do, they aren't thinking right. Sadly there may be in some cases a solution to their problems, but they may not be able to think straight to consider it. Look at it from the person in questions point of view before ruling it an "easy way out".

Yeah, don't really buy this "easy way out" or "you're just weak" excuse.

Am sure most people are just too big of pussies to actually follow through with it, lol. Think it's easier to cry and moan, than it is to actually go out and end your life.
