Man if Rock never went Hollywood I love his movies and I'm super happy for him but I just wonder what it woulda been like in WWE

Would have eclipsed Cena’s push by miles and who knows what Cena would have become. Probably upper midcard we with a few world titles to his name, but if Rick was around in 2005, he’s still the Ace.

While not officially, WrestleMania 21 is my separating point for them with Batista/Cena winning belts. 04 with Eddie/Benoit didn't really feel like as big of a change to me, show's got way different after that, belts switched brands and all

Same. I’m glad I’m not the only only one who thinks 21 starts a new mini era.

I sometimes refer to this as the Brand Extension Era. To separate it from the Cena and Batista Ruthless.

Same it's like WWE forgot them, squashes are fine but they get boring after so long when there's guys in between midcard and enhancement talent that could benefit from them like Tajiri did that match

Agreed. You can even get a midcard guy over if they look good with a more established act.
