Cena was over for maybe six months before he was booed by half the crowd. That's not long at all. There's no reason they couldn't have let the gimmick that got him over to run as long as it could and THEN change it when it needs to be changed.


If half the crowd if a small portion.

Being over is driving ticket sales and making money....cheers don't equate to dollars or Fandango would've been headlining WrestleMania.

In Cena's case the boos was the crowd getting behind him. It was "haha you have a superman gimmick " boos, not "we legit hate you" boos.
