I don't know if he's the next John Cena or not either, but WWE already sent that train to station. Losing now says that's not the kid. There's only one way to know for sure if he's ready and that's to see if he sinks or swims.

Let me make it perfectly clear I'm still a huge Brock Lesnar fan and certainly won't be crying if he retains.

I just feel losing to Lesnar but putting up a beyond valiant effort may be better for him in the long run. Kind of like, "I was almost there but my inexperience bit me in the ass" and then he develops a huge chip on his shoulder, runs through the roster, wins the Rumble again next year and finally dethrones Lesnar in Dallas.

Hard to argue that wouldn't make him THE guy and by that point he'd be more than ready provided he makes some improvements.

In this EXACT scenario I find no faults. I could even prefer it --

However, what are the chances Brock Lesnar is still the champion by 32? I mean is that possible in 2016?
