Daniel Bryan doesn't need the streak rub, maybe Rusev. Not yet. He not ready. Dude still can't talk and he doesn't have the presence of Brock(who has Paul talking for him).
I wouldn't mind someone like Bryan getting it at Summer Slam...or hell even Rusev.

I figured they were coming out to say Wyatt was not going to compete tonight

Because he wasn't ready to end the streak last year and the decision was made to do it last year. Plus, Brock Lesnar was a more sure thing at the time. Either way, I've been saying it for a year and it came to pass when Roman Reigns won the Royal Rumble. Defeating the Beast gives him the immediate push he needs. Why wouldn't you just keep the streak intact and have Reigns end it himself this year then?

Not to make him the next "John Cena" or top draw. John Cena already lost to Brock Lesnar, the kid needs to be the one to beat the one in twenty-one and one.
No offence, but I really don't think Reigns is at a point in his career where he should be that guy. I'm willing to give him a chance, but there's so much crash and burn potential I just can't fully invest in him. His promos are meh most of the time and I just haven't seen enough from his in-ring to think he's at the level where he can make his opponents look great, which is kind of the point of being the top champion.

I don't know if he's the next John Cena or not either, but WWE already sent that train to station. Losing now says that's not the kid. There's only one way to know for sure if he's ready and that's to see if he sinks or swims. No offence, but I really don't think Reigns is at a point in his career where he should be that guy.
