Weird that Cena is losing viewers lately, maybe WWE need to realize that people are getting sick of him and have been for years. He's stale, isn't entertaining most the time and isn't a good wrestler.

When Kane is back on tv = RATINGS.

Amazed that Cena lost viewers yet again and he didn't lose a small amount either. His promos the past two weeks have been some of the best promos he has cut in years yet it seems like fans aren't giving him a chance. They want to see The Rock and once Cena appears they tune out.

They are missing out though because the Cena we have seen cutting these promos is a different guy that has been all over television the past few years.

HBK and Rock are on the show next week so we will see what feud wins the ratings battle, looks like HHH/Taker/HBK will take the cake.

you say that but it was the exactly the same cena at elimation chamber, and every raw ive watched he is similar, embracing the hate was just to fill the gap before wrestlemania with is unfortunate because it could of been a better fued! i think the ratings for the next show will be up easily

Don't you think that his last two promos have been a lot different to what he did against Kane? For me they were a lot more serious and he didn't rely on so many catchphrases.

I keep thinking that the rating will increase after two good shows in a row but now I have no idea. It should go up next week, as it should continue to rise the closer we get to WM, plus The Rock and HBK are on and should draw in more viewers.

ok i will admit the last two promos have been different, but 2 promos doesn't account for 6-7 years of being pushed on us, tbh im not as offended i am by cena as i was a year ago but i prefer to see the rock hbk etc, i think after this wrestlemania cena needs to rediscover something and not have a title reign for a while!

Like I mentioned above, it's quite a weird situation for me. I'm really enjoying the buildup for HHH/Taker but pretty much don't care about the actual match, whereas i'm not caring for or enjoying the buildup for Rock/Cena but can't wait to see the actual match.

Final 3/2 SD! Rating: Number Increases From Previous Week
The Friday, March 2, 2012 edition of WWE Smackdown scored a final broadcast rating of 1.97, according to Nielsen Media Research.

The 1.97 number marks an increase from the 1.95 final draw the show drew the previous week.

Smackdown on 3/2 averaged 2.9 million viewers.

Okay rating but they should be back in the 2.0 range. Kane = Ratings

I found another rating that said; The 3/2 edition of Smackdown did a 2.01 rating with 2,905,000 viewers.

It is a 2 rating either way which is good news for Smackdown. Leading into WM the goal would be to try to beat the 2.2 rating that they can't seem to beat.

I bet they will be able to hit that goal, with Kane back, that should be a simple task.

Final 3/5 Raw Rating: Slight Increase From Last Week's Number
The Monday, March 5, 2012 edition of WWE Raw scored a final cable rating of 3.25 (which rounds up to a 3.3), according to Nielsen Media Research.

Raw on 3/5 averaged 4.646 million viewers, which is a slight decrease from last week.

The 3.2 final draw marks an increase from last week's 3.1 final number.

I don't know why the ratings aren't going up much, especially during Mania season. What have WWE got to do to get people to tune in..

At least it went up this week even if it was only by 0.1. WWE do have a lot of work to do to get regular 4.0 ratings again, in the end it boils down to WWE creating new stars. They need to have a mainevent of a dozen big names rather than a small handful.

Wrestling Observer Newsletter said:
Breakdown Of Ratings For 3/5 Episode Of WWE RAW

The March 5th WWE RAW Supershow from Boston scored a 3.23 cable rating with 4.61 million viewers. The Rock and John Cena closing the show but this week saw the same second hour drop that has been going on.

The show opened with a 3.45 quarter rating with the promo between Shawn Michaels and Triple H.

Santino Marella vs. Jack Swagger lost 443,000 viewers.

The Rock's first history lesson and Alicia Fox vs. Eve Torres gained 338,000 viewers.

John Cena's empty arena segment lost 382,000 viewers.

CM Punk and Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan and Chris Jericho gained 205,000 viewers for a 3.25 quarter rating, which is another weak number for the transition into the second hour

The Rock's next history lesson and The Miz vs. Big Show lost 121,000 viewers, which is less of a drop than usual for that timeslot.

The Rock's third history lesson and R-Truth vs. Kane lost 187,000 viewers.

The closing segment with John Cena and The Rock gained 763,000 viewers for a 3.57 overrun - which is just slightly above the normal numbers. That segment saw the rating with Male Teens go from 2.5 to 2.8, Males 18-49 go from 2.9 to 3.6, Female Teens go from 1.1 to 1.2 and Women 18-49 go from 1.1 to 1.4.

Fans are getting sick of Cena every week, and how the hell did The Rock' history lessons 2 and 3 lose viewers? They were very entertaining. Good sign that the tag match gained viewers also.

Ratings don't really matter tbh, it is just to keep the sponsors happy.
