WWE Surveys Fans on Potential DVD Releases

- WWE sent out a survey on Friday to gauge fan interest in potential DVD and Blu-ray projects for 2014. The list looks like this:

* Macho Man Randy Savage – Documentary plus matches
* Chris Jericho – Best Matches
* Shawn Michaels – Best Matches
* John Cena – Documentary plus matches
* Rhodes Family (Dusty, Dustin/Goldust, Cody) – Documentary plus matches
* Rob Van Dam - Best Matches
* Class of 96 (Rock & Stone Cold) – Documentary plus matches
* Batista – Best Matches
* Stone Cold Steve Austin – Austin picks his favorite WWE matches
* Daniel Bryan – Best Matches
* Best of WCW Pay-Per-Views – Best Matches
* Rey Mysterio – Best Matches

Don't get me wrong, while a bunch of those 'Best Matches' only DVD's could be pretty outstanding, i'm a sucker for documentaries so would much rather see those style of DVD's get made first. On the whole though, all of them on paper could be very good.

Some of those have potential, only one one I wish got a doc' was the RVD's one.

I would love to see a Shield matches DVD

I personally think it's too soon for a Daniel Bryan one as he's only been with the company for a few years. Hardly enough time for such a DVD. I would love to see a Rhodes doc. though.

Fuck, I really think I'd enjoy all these. Rhodes family one would be fun but like what the fuck has Cody done yet, hopefully it'd be mainly Dusty and Goldy.

Class Of 96 & The Macho man DVD set are the first two that really stand out to me. Also kind of a sucker for documentaries so yeah would be very interested in them.

I didn't add this in my earlier post but now that I think about it I hope those superstars DVD's is not some bullshit matches we've seen on DVD's hundreds of times. Hopefully it's like the Bret DVD with unseen and unreleased matches.

Out of all these I think we def got to get a Macho Man DVD. Maybe we could finally find out what really was the deal with Savage and Vince's relationship and why it soured so bad to the point it did beyond just the obvious in him leaving for WCW.

I like the sound of the Rhodes DVD. I've always been a fan of the Rhodes family and see much potential in Cody.

They make a John Cena every year it seems. I brought one once and it was terrible, probably why it cost so little.

Rhodes Family, Macho and Best of WCW Pay Per Views are the ones which really stand out here.

Most of them ideas are of guys who already have had enough time spent on them, and best of matches would just repeat many featured on DVD's from the past.

Some of those potential DVD's can easily have a documentary to go with it. I'd be happy to see a Macho Man DVD released next year.

The potential WCW one can be hosted by DDP again, like he does with the best of Nitro. There hasn't been a Rey one in years, so that'd be good. RVD having a DVD, again WWE could easily put a documentary together about his time in WCW, ECW & WWE. Then introduce his best matches.
