Re: WWE Surveys Fans on 12 Potential DVD and Blu-ray Titles To Be Released In 2014

I would buy the velocity dvd.

I would also buy a BoD one as we haven't seen one before. Give me one Taker dvd hosted by Kane, one Kane dvd hosted by taker, and one dvd of them team together and narrating it together

Who comes up with this trash? Also no "Main Even" and I know it's only been around for one year but a "Best of first year Main Event" is wanted, I would pick up the Velocity set for dem Vanilla Midget matches. Brothers of Destruction is another but that will prob just be a matches DVD so it can wait.

Why? Besides looking back at the jobbers of the day and the cheesy communatry I don't see the value in it. Heat as a show had far more to it.

Velocity had a lot of great cw matches. It basically was the CW division. There's a lot of classic Chavo, Noble, Moore, Kidman, Ultimo, Matt, and the like.

Yeah but I was not a big fan of WWE's CW Division, sure there was good talent there but it was very watered down. Also I don't remember that many great matches on Velocity and besides you don't buy this sort of DVD just for the matches but for depth and the history of the show.

Yeah, Velocity was actually a pretty awesome show, even when Smackdown was sucking ass in 2004 and 2005.

Iirc Cena worked a number of pre rapper matches there and Bryan worked on tv there too once before. They also had their share of divas and Dudley tags. Don't get me wrong, heat has more to offer since it came before so and was held at times square

As for as match quality though, I'd say Velocity was better than Heat. Definitely when they were going on at the same time, but Heat did have some real good ones at first whenever it was the second biggest show before Smackdown took over it.

Heat was only fun when Stevie took over.

Each to their own I guess apart from the amusing annonucing I don't remember it being up to much.

And in the early years featured some important matches/storylines before SD it was very much the number two show.

I know it was the B show, but I think they would break down Heat in a 3 DVD set like d1 pre sd, d2 mtv and Times Square, and d3 Raws secondary brand show (raven ftw)

Re: WWE Surveys Fans on 12 Potential DVD and Blu-ray Titles To Be Released In 2014

WWE issued a survey out to fans on their mailing list today, asking for feedback on the following potential new dvd titles:

* Paul Heyman documentary.

* Where Are They Now.

* Best of World Class match compilation hosted by Michael Hayes.

* Bruno Sammartino documentary.

* The Nexus compilation.

* Best of Sting matches.

* Best of Matches from around the world.

* OMG! Top 50 WCW Moments.

* Best of Ultimate Warrior Matches.

* John Cena match compilation.

* Best Wrestlemania matches.

* Best of Big Men starring Andre the Giant and Big John Studd.

* Best of WWE PPV Matches.

* Behind the Scene DVD with "dark matches" and "moments, including Vince McMahon doing Spinaroonies."
Heyman Documentary for sure and I wouldn't even mind a Behind The Scenes one either. Where Are They Now could be interesting, but they run that series already on wwe.com

They're bringing the Floppy Disk back from the dead especially for this.
