But the WrestleMania appeal

Um, not sure if you heard, but Rock already won the WWE Championship last year and had his WrestleMania WWE Championship Main Event.

I don't think Brock will be the champ all the way to Mania.

He might be in a rematch at WM but I don't think he's still holding the title. Too long for a part time guy. I wonder how much well actually see of him over the next 6-8 months.

I can't say for sure he will, but the biggest payoff they can get from this is to have someone defeat him at the show he conquered the streak.

Also, there's nothing saying Brock can't or won't work more dates now that he's the champion. He worked a full schedule once.

In a perfect world yes. But won't happen. And either way it'll be just as big for someone to beat Brock at WM with or without the title being on the line.

I'm not sure why you're saying WON'T like you know the future.

Brock putting over anyone will be big, we all know this. However, the real rub comes from whoever beats him NEXT. And that would best if it also happens to be WM.

Not saying it happenong at Royal Rumble wouldn't be still be awesome, though. It just wouldn't have the magic of the challenger being the winner.

I just want to point out that Bryan will not be back in the ring by the end of the year and I doubt Roman is going over on a B-PPV.

So Royal Rumble is the earliest I see Lesnar dropping the belt.

Doesn't mean the match won't draw

Of course it would, but why give the Rock another WWE Championship? Especially when Bryan and Reigns are much better choices.

Considering they already advertized SummerSlam 2015 and it's in the same place that WrestleMania 29 took place, I think it's the safer bet.

Just watched the rest of the show.

Orton was absolutely incredible in his match against Reigns, he carried him completely. The spear into powerslam and RKO were fantastic. Orton really showed how great he is, maybe it will finally shut the doubters up.

I'm pumped Lesnar won the WWE Championship, he looked like an absolute monster while doing so too.

The only problem with Orton is consistency. Sure he looked great last night and definitely carried Reigns a bit, but will he do it again tonight? How about at the next PPV?

Again, not knocking him here, just hoping I see more of that Orton and less of the idgaf one.

Orton performs at such a high standard every single week that he doesn't stand out, even Ric Flair said he's the best wrestler in WWE.

Oh quit blowing the guy, he half-asses it from time to time. Didn't you see his match with Cena at the Royal Rumble?
