The Smackdown intro plays with highlights off last Sunday’s Wrestlemania 24, as Teddy Long makes his way down to the ring, talking about how Smackdown has no Number 1 contender. He then goes on to introduce the new draft pick for Smackdown, and it is none other than John Cena!! Cena says how great it is be back home to Smackdown, as Long goes on to say he will compete tonight, in the tournament to crown the next Number 1 Contender! He points to the titantron, which shows the brackets.

John Cena
Kane

CM Punk
Rey Mysterio

???
Big Show

RVD
Sabu

Teddy says that Punk vs. Mysterio and Cena vs. Kane will take place tonight! Teddy leaves the ring, as the lights turn to red inside the arena, as Kane appears in the ring! Cena and Kane stare each other down, as we go to a break.

WWE Tag Team Championships
Tommy Dreamer and Sandman vs. the Edge Heads

After what was a surprisingly long match that went for about 10 minutes, The Edge Heads work over Dreamer, as he desperately tries to get to his corner. When Zack tags in Curt, they go for a double hip toss, but Dreamer ducks under the attempt and nails a double clothesline. With everything he has left, Dreamer manages to tag in his partner Sandman! The Sandman explodes with rights and left onto both men, as he then flapjacks the illegal man Zack into the ropes. Sandman then lifts up Curt and sticks him in between his legs, and nails an unorthodox power bomb to Curt! Sandman then climbs over for the cover. 1…2…Zack breaks up the count! Dreamer then comes charging inside the ring, and he helps Sandman throw him threw the middle rope, as he crashes to the outside, leaving a clear path for the Originals! Dreamer then tells Sandman to head up top, as Dreamer hits a Dreamer DDT to Curt! Sandman then quickly follows that up with the Rolling Rock from off the top turnbuckle! Sandman covers, as Dreamer restrains Zack from coming back into the ring! 1…2…3!!! We have new WWE Tag Team Champions!

Winners and NEW WWE Tag Team Champions: ECW Originals Tommy Dreamer and The Sandman!

RVD, Sabu and Paul Heyman come down to the ring to celebrate, with RVD with his Hardcore Championship. The ECWians then celebrate in the ring, as Zack helps Curt up. Curt looks very upset, and starts screaming at his partner for not helping. Zack gets frustrated and slaps Curt in the face! Zack leaves to a pretty good pop as Curt looks like he is going to cry as we go to a commercial.

When we come back, we see The Great Khali and his translator Runjin Singh, who talk about tonight’s handicap Belfast Brawl match against Finlay and Hornswoggle. He says that they have just been to the office of Hornswoggle’s dad Vincent McMahon, and that he has made the match a Loser Leaves WWE match. Khali speaks in his Khali language, as Singh translates it into that tonight, the Great Khali will finish the careers of both Finlay and Hornswoggle.

Tournament Match
CM Punk vs. Rey Mysterio

This was an early Match of the Year candidate, with these two highly talented superstars putting on a half an hour clinic, with both men kicking out of the other man’s signature maneuvers. After 31 minutes of high paced, high flying, outstanding action between these two men, Punk manages to hit Mysterio with a Springboard Clothesline. Punk then lifts up Mysterio and places him in between his legs, and nails a Welcome to Chicago, Motherfucker!!! Punk then goes for the cover, but Mysterio manages to kick out at the count of two! Punk gets frustrated, but then he lifts up Mysterio into a standing Fireman’s carry, perhaps looking for his patented GTS, or Go 2 Sleep! When Punk goes for the knee, Mysterio rolls through, into a Victory Roll cover! Punk manages to roll his shoulder up at two, as he charges at Rey, but Rey trips him up into the second and third ropes! Mysterio then nails a 619 for the second time in the match, but this time Punk groggily gets up. Mysterio then goes for his West Coast Pop, but when he gets up onto Punk’s shoulders; The Straight Edge Superstar power bombs him down, and then flips over into a jackknife cover! 1…2…NO! Punk can’t believe it, but instead of doing something stupid, he goes straight back to Rey, and goes for a Urinagi, but Mysterio repeatedly elbows Punk in the back of the head, and then connects with a Tornado DDT! Mysterio then heads up top, perhaps looking for a Frog Splash. Mysterio then points up to the sky in homage of the Hall of Famer, and leaps off for the Frog Splash, but Punk moves and Mysterio hits the mat with extreme force! Punk then crawls over the top of Mysterio, but he once again manages to kick out at two! Punk then heads up top with his back facing Mysterio, looking for a Moonsault, but Mysterio was playing possum and starts to elbow the back of his friend Punk, and then goes out onto the apron, and heads up to the turnbuckle now facing Punk. Mysterio then leaps over the top of Punk, and he connects with a huge Sunset Flip Power Bomb from off the top rope! The crowd starts to chant ‘Holy Shit’ as Mysterio then quickly follows that up with a huge Split Legged Moonsault, which he must have learnt from his former partner RVD! Mysterio then quickly gets over Punk for the cover and he hooks the leg. 1…2…NO! This time Punk kicks out! Mysterio then lifts Punk up, and hits a suplex, but he holds on, going for the Three Amigos, but on the third attempt of the last suplex, Punk quickly gets Mysterio into a Small Package! 1…2…Mysterio rolls through into a pinning predicament of his own! 1…2 Punk manages to get out, as Mysterio goes for a kick but Punk manages to hold on, but for his troubles, Mysterio connects with an enziguiri straight to the side of Punk’s head! While Punk stands groggily, Mysterio goes for a Springboard Cross Body, but Punk holds on and lifts Mysterio up, and manages to hit the GTS!!! Punk goes for the cover, this time hooking both legs. 1…2…3!!!

Winner and advancing: CM Punk!

The two take a while to get up, as the crowd gives them a standing ovation for the phenomenal display. When Punk gets up, he goes straight back over to Mysterio, and he helps him up. The two then embrace and “man†hug each other, showing they have the utmost respect for each other. Punk poses, as Mysterio applauds Punk as he heads up the entrance ramp, as we go to another break.

When we come back, we see Vickie Guerrero, her nephew Chavo Guerrero and Curt Hawkins in the back, looking very distraught after they have lost 2 members in the space of 2 shows. Vickie then goes on to say that although they don’t have Edge, they can still rule over Smackdown, and that will start tonight, as Vickie mentions that Theodore Long is going to bring back the Cruiserweight Championship tonight! She goes on to say that Chavo will be in the match. Chavo looks delighted and he says that he is issuing an Open Cruiserweight Challenge for tonight!

Handicap Loser Leaves WWE Belfast Brawl
Finlay and Hornswoggle vs. the Great Khali

This match was an actually OK match, with there being a hardcore side to the match. All 3 men used chairs, garbage cans, the shillelagh (of course), and a ladder!!! The match had gone for about 7 minutes, with ‘We Want Tables’ chants starting up. Finlay, instead, got out a ladder from under the ring, which got a very big pop. Hornswoggle had tried to stay out of Khali’s way at all times, but he sometimes helped Finlay whenever he was in trouble, such as low blowing Khali when it looked like he would be locked into the Vice Grip, before disappearing once again under the ring. Finlay then seized a steel chair while Khali was down after the low blow, and smashed Khali in the side of the head with the steel chair, which got an almighty thud. Khali didn’t go down immediately; he instead wobbled while still standing up. Finlay then poked Khali in the back of the legs with the chair, and then nailed the other leg, which made Khali kneel. Finlay then quickly got his shillelagh and smashed Khali in the head with it, snapping it in 2! Finlay looked at the broken weapon, before going for the pin on Khali! 1…2…Singh pulls the referee out of the ring! Singh may have perhaps single handedly saved The Great Khali’s job! Finlay then stares at Singh, as Khali starts to get up. Finlay tries to bring Singh into the ring, but Khali gets up and chops Finlay in the back of the head! Khali then wraps Finlay across the throat perhaps looking for the chokebomb, but Hornswoggle comes out, which changes Khali’s attention. Khali heads over to little Hornswoggle, but Finlay gets up and low blows Khali from behind! Finlay then grabs a chair while Hornswoggle gets another one, and at the same time, Hornswoggle smashes Khali in the legs while Finlay smashes Khali’s head! Finlay then sets up the ladder for little Hornswoggle (who looks very uneasy), as Finlay then gets the trash can lid that was in the ring and places it near Khali’s head. When Hornswoggle finally reaches the top of the ladder, Finlay lifts Khali up and pile drives him onto the lid! Finlay then places the actual can over his head, and then Hornswoggle leaps off and nails the Tadpole Splash from off the top of the ladder!!!! Hornswoggle somehow seems unharmed, and he gets the cover onto Khali! 1…2…3! The Great Khali is now out of a job, as he is now fired!

Winners: Finlay and Hornswoggle! The Great Khali is forced to retire, and Runjin Singh is fired!

Finlay and Hornswoggle do their little dance in the ring, as Singh looks like he is going to cry, as Khali is still unconscious. The crowd starts ‘Na Na Na Na!’, as Finlay and Hornswoggle wave goodbye.

When we come back from the commercial, we see footage from Wrestlemania where former World Heavyweight Champion and Raw’s newest draft pick Edge lost his World Title to the Undertaker. The announcers then hype the TLC match between Triple H vs. Edge for the WWE Championship at Backlash, as well as the Tag Team Championships match between the Rock N’ Sock Connection and MNM. They start to hype the tournament made by Teddy Long with the winner of the tourney becoming No. 1 Contender at Backlash for the Undertaker’s World Title. They show a recap of Cena returning at the start of the show, and him facing Kane in the main event.

They then hype the return of the Cruiserweight Championship, after it was vacated on an episode of Smackdown for ‘Hornswoggle’s wellbeing’. They talk about who the challenger could possibly be.

We then have an update on Matt Hardy and MVP. They show us a recap of what happened at Wrestlemania with the aftermath of the I Quit match, with Hardy doing a 40 foot leg drop from off the top of the set. They said that fortunately that both men will be back for next week, and that both men will be in action, with Hardy defending his title for the first ever time against ‘The World’s Strongest Man’ Mark Henry, and MVP taking on Matt’s brother Jeff in a US Title Number 1 Contender’s match for the US Title, with the winner facing whoever the US Champ is at the time at Backlash!

Cruiserweight Championship
Chavo Guerrero vs. GREGORY HELMS!!!

While Chavo is waiting for his opponent, no one comes out, which he goes on to say that no one is going to face him, so just award him the belt right now. When the referee is about to give him the belt, Gregory Helms comes out to surprisingly, a huge pop! He says that his back, and that the only reason he lost his title was because Chavo stole it from him. The two have a very good, fast paced match, with the two having great chemistry, as Chavo uses dirty tactics to attempt to steal the victory, whereas Helms uses high flying moves to wear down Chavo. Helms nails a huge springboard head scissors onto Chavo, and while Chavo is getting up, he attempts the Shining Wizard, but Chavo reverses and grabs onto Helms’ knee, and gets him into a suplex position, perhaps looking for the brain buster of perhaps the Three Amigos, but Helms slides over the top of Guerrero’s shoulders and gets him into a school boy roll up! 1…2…Chavo gets out of the pinning predicament! Chavo quickly charges back at the former superhero, only to be met with a super kick to the face, quickly followed by a very impressive DDT! Helms gets the cover. 1…2…Chavo gets his foot on the ropes! Helms then lifts Chavo up, and hits a bodyslam, quickly followed by a standing senton to Chavo’s sternum. Helms lifts up Chavo, and goes for a swinging neck breaker to Chavo, but Chavo pushes off Helms, and he collides with the turnbuckle, chest first! Chavo then quickly puts Gregory into a crucifix powerbomb position, locking in the Gory Special! Helms starts to struggle, as Chavo applies more pressure. Helms looks like he is fading, but while Chavo gets off guard for a second as he thinks Gregory is gone, Helms seizes the opportunity by quickly rolling through into a sunset flip cover, but Chavo uses his momentum to roll through and nail a huge dropkick to the face of Helms while he was in a seated position! Chavo smirks, as he thinks he has this one in the bag, but he goes up top, perhaps looking for a Frog Splash. Chavo leaps, but much what like happened to Mysterio earlier, Helms moves as Chavo smashes the mat. Helms quickly takes advantage of the opportunity, as he bounces off the ropes and connects with a Shining Wizard! 1…2…3!

Winner and UNDISPUTED Cruiserweight Champion: Gregory Helms!

Helms is handed the belt, as he kisses it as Chavo begins to get up in the centre of the ring. Helms leaves smirking with his new belt, as Chavo starts to slam the mat out of frustration. They show the rest of Edge’s Army, who aren’t looking too pleased. The commentators speak about the shock return of Gregory Helms, and how he won the title in his first night back. They also talk about Edge’s Army, who don’t look very good tonight.

When we come back from the commercial, Teddy Long is backstage with Anastasia, who talks about how in the brackets, we don’t know who is facing the Big Show. Well, there answer to that question is that that The Big Show match will take place next week, and he will face off against the next draft pick, so he doesn’t know who he is facing next week! Big Show is shown backstage, looking furious at what happened.

A video package plays, showing many places of Australia for some reason. The narrator says that in June 2008, for 3 weeks, WWE will be in Australia, broadcasting both Smackdown and Raw! The announcer’s hype this, saying it would be the first time ever that the WWE will be going to Australia for the first time ever to broadcast shows.

Main Event
Tourney Match
John Cena vs. Kane

The match was a very good main event for Smackdown, with Kane using his power moves to wear Cena down, as he looked to be struggling in the match, due to Kane’s size advantage. Kane almost had the match won after hitting his flying clothesline from off the top rope, but Cena managed to kick out at two. Kane had then gone for the chokeslam to Cena, but Cena repeatedly striked Kane’s head, and then followed that up with a massive bulldog. Cena then connected with the Five Knuckle Shuffle onto Kane! He went for the cover. 1…2...Kane throws Cena off! Cena can’t believe the strength of Kane, as he goes back over to Kane, but he sits up and wraps his hand across his throat once again looking for the chokeslam, but Cena kicks him in the gut, and tries to hit the FU, but Kane is too heavy for Cena, so Cena collapses under the weight of Kane. Kane then goes on to hit a sidewalk slam, and then he goes for the cover. 1…2…NO! Cena manages to kick out, as Kane starts to get frustrated with Cena. Kane then whips Cena into the corner, and charges at him, looking for a splash in the corner, but Cena dodges it so Kane smashes the turnbuckle. Cena quickly capitalizes, getting Kane in a school boy roll up! 1…2…Kane grabs on to the bottom rope! Cena doesn’t know what to do, as he heads up to the top rope, but the crowd, the announcers and not even Cena knows what he is going to do. Cena then leaps off the top rope, looking for a diving cross body, but Kane catches him, and puts him into a Tombstone Pile Driver position, but Cena manages to roll through and he locks in the STF-U!! He has it locked in perfectly, as Kane thrashes around on the mat, but he is helpless as he is in the centre of the ring! Kane quickly overturns Cena, putting him onto his back, now in a pinning predicament! 1…2…Cena breaks the hold so now Kane lets go! The two then get up, but not for long as Cena nails Kane with a flying shoulder block, then followed by two clotheslines. Kane then goes for a clothesline, but instead of Cena going for a Spin-out Powerbomb, he kicks Kane in the gut and nails a huge DDT, sending Kane’s head straight into the canvas! Cena then pumps up his shoes, as Kane begins to get up. Cena then for the second time in the match goes for the FU, and this time he lifts Kane up, and he manages to lift up Kane and complete his finishing move the FU!!! Cena then goes for the cover, in pain after using all his strength to get Kane up. 1…2…3!

Winner and advancing: John Cena

Cena starts to celebrate in the ring, as he will be facing CM Punk in 2 weeks, as he is now one step closer to main eventing Backlash against The Undertaker for the World Heavyweight Championship. All of a sudden, the lights go completely black, as The Undertaker is standing in the centre of the ring, staring down Cena. The show ends with these two staring each other down, Undertaker doing his rolling eye thingy and Cena doing the You Can’t See Me wave.

*End of Show*

Okay I have some very bad news. So I completed this show on my dad’s computer, and I may need to trade my laptop in, which means this thread may need to go on a hiatus. Sorry about this guys, but I need to get it fixed, as the stupid thing won’t even load. Leave some comments on SD!

It would be great to get some comments for Smackdown. I have some great news though. I am up to the main event of RAW!!! I have been working on it flat out for the past 2 days, and it should be up today!

Raw Preview

Last week on Raw, Triple H successfully defended his WWE Title against now Smackdown Superstar John Cena, only for Edge to spear both HHH and Shawn Michaels, saying that he was the first draft pick for Raw and that he would face Triple H at Backlash for the WWE Title, but it would be a TLC match! We know that Edge will have the advantage leading up to the match, due to his experience. What will either man have to say on Raw?

This week is also the second week of the Draft Lottery. Ric Flair will open the show, to announce who the next draft pick is. Who could it be? The only way to find out is by tuning in to Raw.

Chris Jericho may have the biggest match of his career in two weeks time, as he faces off against JBL. If Jericho wins, he will be the No. 1 Contender for the Intercontinental Championship, but if he loses, JBL will be included in the Backlash main event to make it a triple threat TLC match, but also if Jericho loses is that he would never get a shot at any championship again! In what was announced on wwe.com this week, Vince McMahon will announce the stipulation!

Speaking of Vince McMahon, he will return this week after he was embarrassed at Wrestlemania from Ric Flair, Bret Hart and Stone Cold Steve Austin! In what was a truly embarrassing moment for Vince, Bret locked him in the Sharpshooter, getting revenge for what happened in Survivor Series 1997. Vince will talk about this on Raw, and no one has any idea of what he is going to say.

Randy Orton has been on a losing streak as of late, ever since No Way Out when he lost his WWE Championship. Randy will be in action tonight, hoping to end his streak of losses. Will Randy put an end to his string of losses, or will Randy lose once again?

To find out all the answers to these questions, tune in to Monday Night Raw, only on the USA Network.

Great preview, haven't checked before and this show seems nice. I want to see HHH/Edge interaction, and their encounter at Backlash will be unique. The Vince reaction might also be good.

I don't like the Y2J/JBL match. I mean, JBL has everything to win, a WWE Title Match, instead, even if winning, all Jericho gets is an IC Title #1 Contendership.

I will be reviewing. Check out BTW, CyberSlam has been posted. On WWE vs ECW, NWO and the preview for next WWE Show have been posted

Monday Night Raw

Raw starts off with footage of last week, when Edge returned to Raw and speared the WWE Champion Triple H. They show the announcement of the TLC match, as Edge has a demonic look in his eye. They then play the opening Raw video package, as JR and Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler welcome us to the show.

Ric Flair makes his way out to a monstrous ovation, as he talks about Wrestlemania, Vince McMahon and why he is out here tonight, which is f course because he will be announcing the new draft pick for Raw. He talks about how Vince has been trying to screw him time and time again, but he has failed. He talks about how Vince is now out of the way, and how it is time to introduce the new draft pick. It is none other than Flair’s very good friend, HULK HOGAN!!!

Hulk makes his way down, as Flair smirks. The two men embrace once Hogan gets in the ring. Hogan says how great it is to be on Raw, on the same show as the Nature Boy Ric Flair, brother! Hogan says that unfortunately, however, he will have to retire soon. The crowd boos this statement, as they don’t want Hulk to retire. Hulk says that although that retirement is coming, but he isn’t ready for it yet, which gets a huge pop from the crowd. He brings up how the next time Ric loses, he has to retire, and he says that he would be honored to face Ric Flair at Backlash! Flair then smirks at the idea, but before he even says yes, Hulk brings something up. He says that whoever loses has to retire! Flair looks a little hasty, but ends up accepting the proposition, as the crowd gives a massive pop for the statement! The two then shake hands, but they can’t keep their eyes off of each other. Ric Flair vs. Hulk Hogan, Retirement Match for both men, at Backlash!

When we come back from the commercial, they show a recap of what happened before the break with the announcement of the Retirement Match. They have Randy backstage, as he says that he has been to the office of Vince McMahon, and that tonight, he would kill the career of Hulk Hogan! He goes on to say that Hogan won’t even make it to Backlash!

Chris Jericho vs. Local Jobber (CBF thinking of a name :p)

This was just a match to get Jericho on the card, and to hype his match for next week. Jericho uses all of his basic moves, such as the bulldog and his springboard dropkick sending his opponent on to the outside. Jericho then rolls his opponent into the ring, and then knocks him down with a charging forearm to the face. Jericho then heads up top, and connects with a flying spinning clothesline. Jericho then does his arm pose, as he lifts up his opponent. Jericho then nails the Code Breaker onto his opponent! Jericho then quickly runs across the ring, bounces off the second rope and hits a Lionsault! Jericho then goes over to the poor jobber and locks in the Walls of Jericho!!! The young kid taps out immediately!

Winner: ‘Y2J’ Chris Jericho

Y2J then poses on the ropes, having just gotten a very impressive victory right before his match with JBL. The announcers then say that Vince McMahon will be here after the break.

When we come back, Vince is already in the ring, as he starts to talk about Wrestlemania. He says that at the event that he had created, he had the most embarrassing feeling of his life, when Bret Hart got him in the Sharpshooter, and when Steve Austin screwed me. ‘Bret’ chants start up, as Vince tells the fans to shut up. He says that since Bret has gone, he promises to make Stone Cold’s life a living hell, as the crowd boos heavily. VKM challenges SCSA to show up at Backlash. He then talks about next week; it will be JBL vs. Chris Jericho, in a 15 foot high STEEL CAGE! As Vince is about to leave, Finlay’s music hits, as he and Hornswoggle come out.

Vince asks what the hell they are doing here, as Finlay goes on to say that, well this is hard to out, that HORNSWOGGLE IS NOT VINCE’S SON!!! The crowd gives a thunderous reaction, as Finlay says that since Hornswoggle is too good to be his son, they did some blood tests and they cam back negative! Vince is shocked but happy at the same time, but when Finlay goes on to say that he still has son out there, Finlay says that he should ask his family. (Yeah this is from real life, but I sort of like the storyline that Hornswoggle isn’t his son) Vince is pissed as Finlay and Hornswoggle leave the ring together.

When we come back from the break, we see the shocking revelation that Hornswoggle ISN’T VKM’s son. They say that Vince McMahon’s son is still on the WWE Roster, but who could it be.

No Holds Barred
Intercontinental Championship
Wrestlemania Rematch
Bobby Lashley vs. Carlito

These two competitors put on a great Wrestlemania Title Rematch, as these two have great chemistry with each other. The only weapon that had been brought into the match so far was a steel chair, which Carlito brought in, only for Lashley to take it off him and start to smash Carlito with it. Lashley had attempted a Running Powerslam earlier on in the match, only for Carlito to slide off the back of Lashley and deliver a Reverse DDT straight onto the steel chair! 1…2…NO! Lashley somehow managed to kick out! Carlito is furious as he lifts up the chair, and slams it down onto Lashley’s back. Carlito then goes outside to get another weapon, and when he looks under the ring, he finds a BASEBALL BAT! The crowd pops, as Carlito then slides the weapon into the ring, ready to smash Lashley’s face. Carlito charges at Bobby with the weapon, only for Lashley to see it and smash the chair in Carlito’s face! While Carlito stands groggily, Lashley quickly bounces off of the ropes and connects with a massive Spear! The crowd pops as they know this is the beginning of the end. Lashley then looks to hoist Carlito up, looking for his old finisher the Dominator (Inverted Front Powerslam), but when he looks to lift him up, Carlito lo blows Lashley, and quickly follows it up with a huge baseball shot to the head, shattering the bat! Lashley crumples to the floor, only for Carlito to lift Lashley up and nail the Back Stabber onto the steel chair! 1…2…3!

Winner and STILL Intercontinental Champion: Carlito!

Carlito celebrates at ringside, as Lashley gets up and shakes his head out of frustration. Carlito then smirks, as he makes his way to the back.

We come back with Shane McMahon in the ring. He starts talking about earlier tonight, with the announcement that Vince’s bastard son isn’t Hornswoggle. He then starts to talk about Backlash. He says that Vince had been to his office earlier on in the show, demanding to know who his son is. Shane goes on to say that his sister Stephanie and his mother Linda have talked about it, and have decided to punish Vince, and wait until Backlash! The announcers talk about this, and say how Backlash is really starting to shape up, with WWE Title TLC Match, the Tag Team Title match and the huge Retirement Match, as well as SCSA appearing and the World Heavyweight Title match on Smackdown, with the No. 1 Contender being announced after the tournament. This is the time to start the Smackdown Rebound, showing the two tournament matches and the Tag Title match, which ended up having new champion, and also the Cruiserweight Title returning, with the also returning Gregory Helms winning the title.

The Rock vs. Johnny Nitro

This match was a great match, after there two respective partners had a great match last week. The match goes for basically the same amount of time as last weeks match, going for 15 minutes. The Rock almost had the match won, after he hit the Rock Bottom, but when he went for the People’s Elbow, Melina held on to his leg, getting Nitro enough time to recover and roll up The Rock, although he only got a two count. Nitro then went on to the offensive, smashing The Rock’s head onto the turnbuckle multiple times, before whipping him across the ropes and nailing a huge standing dropkick to the Rock. Nitro then lifted up the 3rd Generation Superstar, and nailed a huge DDT to the future Hall of Famer, sending The Rock straight back down. Nitro then nails a Break-dance Leg Drop, and goes for the cover. 1…2…NO! The Rock kicks out once again! Nitro begins to get frustrated, as he starts to stomp away at Rocky. He then heads up top, with his back facing one half of the tag champions, but The Rock quickly gets up, and hits the ropes, so Nitro crotches himself on the top rope! The Rock then climbs up to the second rope, and nails a huge Super Back Suplex to Nitro, sending his back straight down to the canvas! 1…2…NO! Melina puts his foot on the rope, so the match will continue! The Rock looks furious in the ring, as that what happened last week. The Rock then sets up for the second Rock Bottom off the match, but Nitro begins to elbow the back of the head of The Rock. Nitro then kicks The Rock in the gut, looking for a Corkscrew Neckbreaker, but The Rock, sensing danger, holds on to the ropes nearby, so when Nitro flips, The Rock stays up and Nitro’s back smashes the canvas! The Rock quickly bounces off the ropes and hits the People’s Elbow! 1…2…Mercury comes in the ring and breaks it up!

Winner by DQ: The Rock

Mercury goes to ambush the Rock, but Foley gets in the ring immediately and gives him a Double Arm DDT! The Rock then bounces off the ropes and gives him a People’s Elbow as well, as The Rock N’ Sock Connection stand tall here tonight.

When we come back, Edge is backstage with Todd Grisham. He talks about last week in his return to Raw, and the announcement of TLC. He says at Backlash, he will destroy Triple H and will reclaim ‘his’ WWE Championship, but tonight in the main event, he will destroy the other member of DX, that being Shawn Michaels. The announcers talk about the main event, with the history between HBK and Edge, with their singles bouts, and the tag team feud between DX and Rated RKO.

Randy Orton vs. Hulk Hogan

This was a better bout than there SummerSlam 2006 bout, with these two men sharing the same amount of offence. This was easily Hulk’s best match since he came back. Randy kicked out of perfectly placed bodyslam from Hogan, and Randy also managed to avoid the leg drop. Hulk also managed to kick out of one of Randy’s signature moves, the Second Rope DDT. Randy had given Hogan repeated head shots, trying to concuss the legend. Randy had gone for the Punt Kick to the head of Hogan, but luckily for Hogan he managed to avoid it, and Randy kicked the ropes. From that point on, Hogan started to ‘Hulk Up’, and started punching away at Orton, and using all the moves in his arsenal to wear down the ‘Legend Killer’. Hogan hit a delayed vertical suplex to Orton, and quickly gets on top of Orton for the cover. 1…2…NO! Orton kicks out, so the match will continue. Hogan whipped Orton into the corner, and nailed Orton with a clothesline, and then followed it up with a big boot. He lifted Orton back up, whipped him across the ropes and tried to hit a huge back body drop, but Orton quickly seized the opportunity and nailed a huge RKO! 1…2…HULK PUTS HIS FOOT ON THE ROPES!!! Hogan put his foot on the ropes, so he broke up the count! Randy shakes his head out of frustration, as he can’t break his losing streak, since there may be no possible way to win! Randy then smacks his fist on the ground; perhaps looking for a second RKO, but Hogan pushes him against the ropes and nails a spinebuster! The announcers talk about that is a very rare move for Hogan to use, but Hogan plays to the crowd, before hitting a huge Leg Drop! 1…2…3!

Winner: Hulk Hogan

Hogan plays to the crowd once more, as Flair makes his way to the ring. The two then do the ear thing, as Randy begins to get up, fuming. Randy then attacks the two men from behind! Randy nails the Inverted Backbreaker to his former mentor Ric Flair, and then nails a huge RKO to Hogan! Randy then goes outside and gets a steel chair, as the ref tells him to stop. Randy takes none of it and instead smashes the chair across the skull of the referee! Randy then nails Ric with a chair shot to the head when he gets up, and then he nails Hogan with an RKO onto the chair!!! Randy is pissed as the crowd gives phenomenal heat!

We come back with a replay of what happened, with Randy attacking the two legends and the helpless referee. They show during the commercial break, with Flair managing to get up and help Hogan up, while the ref is put on a stretcher. Hogan is bleeding from the forehead, as Flair manages to get Hogan backstage.

The announcers talk about what type of sick human being Orton is, after he is trying to become the career killer, trying to end HBK, Dusty Rhodes, Sgt. Slaughter and RVD’s careers last year, and trying to end the careers of Hulk Hogan and even his former mentor Ric Flair.

They show DX backstage, getting ready for HBK’s match against Edge, which is next. Trips says that he will accompany Shawn to the ring, and that he will be on the lookout. HBK says he should be on the lookout, before HBK looks at his Money in the Bank Briefcase. Triple H stares at disbelief at Shawn, before Shawn smirks, laughing at what just happened. HHH smiles as well, albeit half heartedly. HBK leaves first, with HHH having a cautious look on his face. Edge is shown looking on a TV monitor.

Main Event
Mr. MITB HBK vs. No 1. Contender Edge

This was a fantastic main event for Raw, for the second week in a row. Edge and Shawn Michaels put on a fantastic display, with these two having great chemistry in the ring after they have battled it out over the past couple of years. Shawn had attempted Sweet Chin Music earlier on in the match, but Edge ducked and Shawn crotched himself up on the top rope. The match had gone for about 19 minutes, when Shawn hit his flying forearm, and then kipped up. He then proceeded to hit the atomic drop and slam him. When he went up top looking for his elbow, Edge quickly got up and climbed up to the second rope and started trading punches with Shawn. Edge went for a superplex, and he connected from the top rope! 1…2…NO! HBK kicks out! Edge got angry, and then he lifted HBK up, and went for a suplex, but HBK reversed and he went for a suplex, but Edge landed on his feet and nailed an Edge O Matic! Edge lifts up HBK’s leg, and this is counted as a pinning predicament! 1…2…HBK rolls through! 1…2…Edge grabs the bottom rope! The fans are cheering for this great main event, as both men get up. The two trade punches, until HBK begins to chop the chest of Edge, making it a very bright red, as the crowd screams ‘Wooo!’ HBK begins to take control once again, and nails a perfectly placed back suplex! He quickly heads up top but instead of going for the flying elbow, he goes for a diving splash but Edge moves out of the way and Michaels crashes and burns, as Edge climbs over for the cover. 1…2…NO! Edge gets angry, before going into the corner, looking for the Spear. Edge charges, but Shawn leapfrogs and Edge smashes the turnbuckle! HBK goes for the SCM for the second time in the match, but Edge holds on and kicks him in the gut, now looking for the Edgecution, but HBK trips him up looking for the Heartbreaker submission hold, but Edge reverses that by rolling through and locks in the Edgecator! HBK tries to fight it, but after one minute in the Inverted Sharpshooter, he finally taps out! Edge manages to win cleanly!

Winner by submission: Edge!

Edge celebrates and then gets his arm raised by the referee, only for Triple H to be right behind Edge! Edge has no idea, and when he turns around, HHH kicks him in the gut and nails the Pedigree! HHH stands tall at the end of the show.

Okay, since my comp is stuffed, I have decided to recap EVERYTHING up until Survivor Series, starting with Backlash.

Last Man Standing
Mysterio vs. CM Punk

Mysterio turned heel on an episode of Smackdown, turning on Punk, before being traded to Raw. Punk challenged Rey to a Last Man Standing match, which Rey accepted. Rey debuted a new finisher which he called the Behind The Mask. It was putting someone into a neckbreaker position, before twisting around and slamming their face face-first into the mat. In what was a great contest, Punk went for a GTS off the stage, but Mysterio slid over and nailed Punk with a steel chair. Mysterio then nailed the BTM off the stage! Punk was down for 10, and somehow Mysterio managed to get up, so he won the truly brutal match.

WWE Tag Titles
RVD/ Sabu vs. Dreamer and Sandman

After turning on RVD and Sabu in their tourney match, Dreamer and Sandman defended their titles against their former partners in an ECW Rules match. After a great match with huge spots, RVD headed up top to deliver a Five Star Frog Splash, but Sabu then turned on long time friend RVD! Dreamer, Sandman and Sabu then triple teamed RVD, and then Dreamer hit a DVD through a table for the win.

Intercontinental Championship Tag Team Match
WGTT vs. Carlito/ JBL

When Jericho was sent to Smackdown after being saved by new Raw draftee Shelton Benjamin in his match against Bradshaw, the WGTT returned to face JBL and Carlito. The winner of the fall would win the Intercontinental Title. Shelton nailed Carlito with the T Bone Suplex, but JBL broke up the count. Haas then entered the ring and dove at Bradshaw, sending them through the ropes and to the outside! Shelton went for a clothesline, only for Carlito to duck, go for the Backstabber, but Shelton held his ground. When Carlito got up, Benji nailed the inverted running bulldog! We have a new champ!

MITB Briefcase
HBK vs. MVP

Next up was HBK vs. The new Raw man MVP. MVP managed to defeat Michaels six days ago, so now this match is for the MITB Briefcase. These two men put on a classic match, with no one getting the better. After a very long match, Porter went for the Playmaker, only for Michaels to trip him up and locks in the Heartbreaker!! After in the hold for 1 minute, Porter finally taps out.

United States Championship
Matt Hardy vs. Jeff Hardy

After defeating his brother’s former rival in a number 1 contender match, it was a Brother vs. Brother Match for the US Title, Matt Hardy vs. Jeff Hardy. These two had great chemistry, but Matt’s determination proved too much for Jeff. After attempting for one whole year to try and win the US Title, Matt wasn’t going to give up so easy after finally winning it, after delivering a huge Leg Drop from off the top rope. The two then embraced after the match.

Stone Cold Steve Austin appeared after being invited by Vince. While these two were bickering, Shane McMahon and the rest of his family came out. Vince didn’t take this appearance too kindly, as he knew that his family had plotted against him. Shane told Vince that he did indeed have an illegitimate son, and he was in this very ring right now. STONE COLD WAS VINCE’S SON! Vince looked like he was going to cry, as Stone Cold just stared at Shane in disbelief. Stone Cold then surprisingly went up to Shane, and offered a handshake, which he accepted. Austin then turned around and gave his daddy a Stone Cold Stunner!

Tag Team Championships
Rock N’ Sock Connection vs. MNM

The Rock N’ Sock Connection defended their tag titles against MNM. After weeks of getting the better of their legendary opponents, MNM couldn’t capitalize after their weeks of domination, after Mankind/ Mick Foley locked in the Mandible Claw after a People’ s Elbow.

World Heavyweight Championship
Undertaker vs. John Cena

Undertaker faced off against the winner of the tournament, John Cena. Cena defeated Bobby Lashley in the final match after Big Show distracted Lashley after losing to him in the first round. These two put on a good match, with both men kicking out of each other’s finishers, as well as fighting out of each other’s finishing submission manoeuvres. Undertaker lifted up Cena for the Tombstone Piledriver, but Cena tripped him going for the STF-U for the 2nd time in the match, but Taker somehow reversed into the Triangle Choke! Taker wins after Cena passed out!

Retirement Match
Hogan vs. Flair

In the End of an Era Retirement match, Flair and Hogan put on a classic match of theirs, going for about half an hour in a great technical match. Randy Orton, who had recently been drafted to Smackdown, was the Special Guest Referee, after being involved with the two men over the past weeks. Orton surprisingly kept a low profile during the match, not getting involved between the two. After a half hour match after both men were busted open, Hogan went for a Leg Drop, but Orton quickly came charging in and nailed an RKO! The crowd boo immensely, as Flair, who didn’t know what happened, climbed over for the cover, as Orton counts to three! Hogan gets up and realizes what just happened. Hogan decks Orton with a right hand, and then Flair locks in the Figure Four! While in the Figure Four, Hogan hits Orton with a Leg Drop! The two legends then embrace, as Hogan leaves to a standing ovation.

WWE Championship TLC Match
HHH vs. Edge

Triple H and Edge put on a great, hellacious Tables, Ladders and Chairs match for the WWE Championship. Both men had their chance to win the match, as Edge was the favourite to take the title after his experience in this type of match. Edge nailed a Spear into a table, but somehow Triple H managed to get up to prevent Edge from winning the title after knocking the ladder down. Triple H nailed a Pedigree from one table through the other, but from the fatigue from the Spear, he couldn’t capitalize. At the end of the match, Edge went for a diving Spear off one ladder while HHH was on the other, but Triple H reversed by a AA Spinebuster off the ladder through a table! HHH managed to climb the ladder and retrieve the title!

It would be great to get some comments for Backlash, perhaps just even some comments on the results.

News and Notes heading into Judgement Day

Raw

On the Raw side of things, JBL moved up to the main event scene, after attacking Triple H in an interview the night after Backlash, earning him a match for the title at Backlash for the WWE Championship. 6 nights before Judgement Day, JBL got the better of Triple H after the WWE Champ defeated MVP in a non-title match. JBL stood over Triple H, holding the WWE Title. During those weeks, HHH converted the spinner title belt to the classic WWE Championship.

The WWE Champ’s opponent for Vengeance will also be determined, as HBK and Ric Flair will battle it out in a Career Threatening Number 1 Contender match. The two men remain friends however, as they defeated Elijah Burke and Carlito, 1/2 of the Intercontinental Title Ladder match for Judgement Day.

After Backlash where Shelton won the Intercontinental Title, Carlito decided not to cash in his rematch clause straight away, but instead waited for Judgement Day, where he also wanted a piece of Charlie Haas. Shane O Mac granted him to have his own friend to be in the match, and it turned out to be Elijah Burke! McMahon then made the match a Fatal Four Way Ladder Match!

After Stone Cold was revealed as Vince’s new son, the Chairman of the Board had a change of heart, and decided to reconcile with his former nemesis Stone Cold. During the weeks after Backlash, it turned out Hornswoggle was Finlay’s son, and Finlay was Vince’s cousin! SCSA and Finlay then formed a partnership, and became Number 1 contenders for the Tag Titles, meaning Rock and Sock verses Austin and Finlay for the titles!

Smackdown!

John Cena turned heel five nights after Backlash, after brutalizing the World Heavyweight Champion The Undertaker with a steel chair. It was then decided by GM Theodore Long that John Cena would get his final shot for the World Title, in a No Holds Barred 30 minute Ironman match!

CM Punk and Chris Jericho formed a tag team during the weeks, and found themselves partnering up with Hardcore Champ RVD, against Tommy Dreamer, Sandman and Sabu. All 6 men were at each other’s throats, which led to a 6 man tag team match, where if Punk, Jericho and RVD won, Punk and Jericho would win the Tag Titles, but if Dreamer, Sandman and Sabu won, Sabu would be the new Hardcore Champ! Also, this match was Extreme Rules!

In the Cruiserweight Title, all cruiserweights felt as if they deserved a shot at the Cruiserweight Title, and that is exactly what they got! There would be a Cruiserweight over the top rope battle royal! The match will feature Champion Helms, Chavo Guerrero, Jamie Noble, Jimmy Wang Yang, Shannon Moore, Kenny Dykstra, Brian Kendrick, Paul London, Funaki, Super Crazy, Scotty 2 Hotty and The Miz.

Deuce N’ Domino returned to Smackdown, but as they looked to rise up the ranks, they were stopped in their tracks by Backlash opponents and also brothers, The Hardyz. Deuce N’ Domino were constantly disrespecting the veteran team of The Hardyz, which led to a tag match between the two teams.

Okay, so I said that I would be recapping u until Survivor Series, but I say stuff it! After Vengeance (whch is Night of Champions, and is the PPV after Judgement Day), I will right the weekly shows in recap, similar to how I have been doing them. The main reason being is that I really want to do the Australia shows, which most likely will be in full.

What is there to comment on. I really can't review it, because it is just a recap. And it would be nice if you could just do some promos. Makes it interesting

Judgement Day

The Hardyz defeated Deuce N’ Domino at 11:52.
In what was a great opening contest, The Hardyz managed to defeat the very talented team of Deuce N’ Domino. Deuce N’ Domino kept the very high flying Jeff Hardy grounded, working on his lower back, which meant that he wasn’t able to use his signature aerial techniques. When Domino went for his flying heel kick, Jeff Hardy ducked, causing Domino to hit Deuce and send him flying off the apron and hit his head on the barricade. Jeff then quickly capitalized by nailing him with a Twist of Fate, and then he tagged his brother Matt, who connected with a top rope flying leg drop , which was enough to get the three.

Tommy Dreamer, Sandman and Sabu defeated CM Punk, Chris Jericho and RVD in ECW Rules in 16:19. Sabu is the new Hardcore Champ.

This match was extremely brutal to say the least. Jericho had been busted open after being hit with a baseball bat wrapped with barbed wire on fire by Dreamer, but he soon got his revenge on his opponents after he nailed a Code Breaker to Sandman sending him into a barbed wire board. Sabu hit an amazing Arabian Facebuster with a steel chair off the top rope onto the outside onto RVD, but that was even topped by a massive Pepsi Plunge off a 20 foot ladder to Dreamer, sending them all the way through the announce table!! Jericho was then put down after an attempted Van Daminator to Sabu, but Sabu ducked and Jericho was hit with the ladder. RVD and Sabu were the last men standing and they had a great battle. RVD set a table alight, and the two former partners and also former best friends starting trading punches on top of the ladder. Sandman then started to stir, as Sabu started to fall. Sandman had gotten up, and RVD nailed an amazing kick to the sternum, sending Sabu down. When RVD thought he was in the clear, Sandman quickly came up and powerbombed him through the flaming table! 1...2...3!

Stone Cold Steve Austin and Finlay became the new tag team champions after defeating The Rock N’ Sock Connection in 9: 50.
This was a great technical bout between 4 great wrestlers. There was miscommunication by all 4 competitors in the match, which led to the opposing team gaining the advantage in this ever so important match up. Austin had almost lost the match for his team after a Rock Bottom by his former rival The Rock, only to be saved by a very desperate Finlay. Foley went up to the top rope very uncharacteristically, only to crash and burn, creating an opening for the Number 1 Contenders. Finlay then started to brawl with Foley, as the two men made their way outside of the ring, leaving in the ring the legal men. The two men traded blow for blow, until the Rock came back with a huge Spinebuster! The Rock then takes off his arm band, looking for his People’s Elbow, but he doesn’t see SCSA has gotten up and walks right into the Stone Cold Stunner! Finlay, who has beaten Foley on the outside, then nails a groggy Rock with the Celtic Cross! Stone Cold then climbs over for the pin, and we have new champs!

Shelton Benjamin defeats Charlie Haas, Elijah Burke and Carlito in a Ladder Match to retain his title @ 21:53.
This match was a show stealer. This match could have gone either way, and it was full of amazing ladder spots. The opening spot was a huge double suplex by Haas and Benjamin off two ladders onto their opponents, sending al 4 men crashing down on the canvas 15 feet below. Burke then got a ladder and leaned it up against the other ladder which Carlito was climbing, ala Shelton Benjamin at Wrestlemania 22. Shelton then quickly ran up but instead off clotheslining him down, he nailed his Reverse STO off the top of the ladder! Holy Shit rang out through the crowd, but the spots kept on coming, including a Haas of Pain on Burke while he was in the ladder, although Elijah soon got his revenge after an Elijah Express into a ladder to Haas, as well as an Elijah Experience onto the ladder to his friend Carlito. There was a lot of friendly fire, some intentional and some accidental, such as when Shelton went to smash Burke with a ladder only for Elijah to duck and Shelton hit Haas! Chairs were also brought into the match by Elijah Burke, although it back fired after he was given a T Bone Exploder onto it by Haas off the top of the ladder! Carlito had been busted open after the Reverse STO from Benjamin, as well was Haas after the Elijah Express. Burke had a busted lip, and Shelton was also busted open after a Reverse Swinging Neck Breaker by Carlito onto a ladder with two chairs inside. The end of the match saw two of the gigantic ladders brought in, and all 4 competitors in the match climb up either side. Benjamin and Burke were on one side of the ladders, and Carlito and Charlie were on the other. Carlito and Charlie were fiercely battling it out, and Shelton saw his opportunity where he nailed a Release T Bone onto Elijah, making him collide with both men, leaving the champ the only one on the ladder!

HBK and Ric Flair went to a no contest at 10:55 after Rey Mysterio and MVP interfered. Flair is not forced to retire.
These two legends of pro wrestling battled it out in a classic, showing us what could have happened at Wrestlemania if Vince didn’t get his way. Both men wore each other out with various suplexes, and Michaels used his high flying tactics to wear down the Nature Boy. Michaels had gone for the Sweet Chin Music, only for Flair to duck under and then give him a chop block to the knee from behind. Flair then headed up top, only for HBK to move and Flair to smash down to the canvas. HBK then took control, and it almost looked like he had the win after a diving splash, but it wasn’t enough to retire the Nature Boy and keep him from being Number 1 Contender. HBK went for another Sweet Chin Music, but Flair moved and HBK crotched himself on the top rope! Flair then rolled him up from behind, but HBK kicked out. Flair then took control, only for HBK to body slam him down, and then he headed up top. Flair was playing possum however and quickly threw him off the top rope! Flair then locked in the Figure Four Lock! Just as it looked as though Michaels would tap out, Mysterio came in and dropped the dime across the throat of Flair, as MVP attacked HBK, leading to a no contest. The two youngsters then finished off the legends with their respective finishers, and stood tall.

John Cena and The Undertaker went to a 2-2 draw in their 30 minute No Holds Barred Ironman match, so Undertaker is still the World Heavyweight Champion.
1st Fall: The match had gone on for 15 minutes, and both men were already busted open. Cena had been tornado DDT’ed onto a cookie sheet, and The Undertaker had been leg dropped by Cena while a barbed wire steel chair was on his face. Somehow, both men had kicked out of these moves. Cena had got a table and set it up in the ring, but when he turned around Taker was waiting for him, and chokeslammed him through the table for the three!
2nd Fall: Cena soon got his revenge however, when Taker went for the Old School from off the top rope, Cena reversed into a massive FU, but that still wasn’t enough, so Cena got the barbed wire steel chair once again and gave him an FU onto that, and then locked in the STFU, which Taker tapped out to!
3rd Fall: Cena went up 2-1 with 2 minutes left. When Taker looked like he was going to get back into the match, Cena would just take him back down with either one his signature moves, or a foreign object shot. Cena got a Singapore Cane out from under the ring, and quickly worked on the injured ribs of Undertaker, after the FU onto the Barbed Wire Steel Chair. Cena then picked up a trash can, put it over the champions head, and gave him an FU while his head was in the trash can!
4th Fall: It looked as though Cena was going to become the new World Heavyweight Champ, as he went outside to get the title belt, showing how cocky he really was. He placed the belt near the corner turnbuckle, and then lifted the hurt Undertaker onto the turnbuckle. Cena then went for a superplex with 30 seconds to go, but after 20 seconds of battling on the top rope, Taker got his challenger in a Tombstone position!!! He then nailed Cena with a Tombstone off the top rope onto the title belt! Taker did the Darkness cover with 5 seconds left. 1...2...3!!!

Triple H defeated JBL to retain his WWE Title @ 12:15.
These two put on a good match for the main event for the PPV. The two men had kicked out of each other’s finishers, as well as signature maneuvers such as Triple H’s spinebuster and JBL’s powerbomb. The two men then went up to the top rope, but JBL quickly caught HHH and nailed him with a huge punch, sending him to the outside. JBL then went on to the apron, and as soon as HHH got, he leapt off, only for the WWE Champion to catch him and spinebuster him onto the barricade! He quickly slides JBL into the ring, but he only gets a 2 count from referee Mickey Henson! Triple H the quickly lifted up JBL and put him in a Pedigree position, but JBL managed to trip him up and catapult him into the ropes! He quickly bounced off the opposite side looking for a Clothesline from Hell, but HHH kicks him in the gut and nails a second Pedigree! 1...2...3!

The show closes with Triple H once again holding his WWE Title.

Vengeance: Night of Champions Matches

Vengeance will of course be the last thing in recap, as I will get my laptop back soon and be able to right the shows. The Australia show will be in full.

Raw

Shane O Mac came out the night after Judgement Day, talking about the Number 1 Contender status, only to be interrupted by HBK, Ric Flair, MVP, Rey Mysterio and the challenger for the WWE Title at Judgement Day, JBL. All 5 men stated their points to why they should be the WWE Champion, until it turned out into a 3 on 2 brawl with the heels attacking the faces, until HHH came storming to the ring. Shane O Mac, who was still in the ring, had had enough, and made an Elimination Chamber between all 6 men for the WWE Title! Also, if Flair is eliminated, he must retire!

Shelton Benjamin found himself with no contender, but that was all solved after a Battle Royal, which was won by the former Smackdown Superstar, Batista! The two traded blows for weeks, and 6 nights before Vengeance, Benjamin got the better of Batista after a Reverse STO.

The Rock N Sock Connection was upset about their loss, but Vinnie Mac was furious after his son and cousin winning the titles, after it looked they had gotten their differences aside. The Rock N Sock Connection decided to cash in their rematch clause at Vengeance, and Vince McMahon and his illegitimate son Stone Cold Steve Austin were seen talking backstage several times, with Finlay having no idea.

Victoria also would finally get a shot at Mickie James for the Women’s Championship. After months of bickering Shane McMahon for a shot at Mickie, she finally defeated Mickie in a tag team match which also involved Candice Michelle, who partnered with Mickie, and Melina, who partnered with Victoria.

Smackdown

John Cena was still Number 1 Contender for the WWE Title, since he didn’t technically lose at Judgement Day in the 30 Minute No Holds Barred Ironman Match, but someone was unhappy, and that was Randy Orton (who had been injured at a house show following Backlash). Teddy Long had told Randy that he would have to prove himself, and he did just that when he destroyed Undertaker’s brother Kane after delivering a football kick to him off the stage. Long reluctantly added him to the match. Kane really had been suspended for 30 days, and was supposed to be in the world title picture.

Mr. Kennedy returned on an edition of Smackdown after he was sidelined with an ankle injury, and immediately found himself in the US Title picture after defeating Jeff Hardy, Deuce and Domino in a fatal four way match to face Matt at Vengeance for his US Title. Kennedy still remained face, as did Matt, so it would be a face vs. face mid card title match on both brands.

Jericho ad Punk were still gunning for the Tag Team Titles, and after Punk defeated Dreamer one week and Jericho defeated Sandman the next week, they were given one last shot at the WWE Tag Titles, and it would be in a 2 out of 3 Falls Hardcore Match! RVD also had a rematch clause, and he decided he would face Sabu at Vengeance, in a Tables match! The two put each other through tables for weeks, and the 6 man feud between Jericho/Punk/RVD and the ECW Originals continued, with all 6 men facing off in matches during the weeks. Paul Heyman was also brought back, on RVD’s side!

The last match at Vengeance to be announced was the Cruiserweight Title match, which would be a Lumberjack match between former champion Gregory Helms, who had turned heel against the champion AJ Styles. Helms turned heel after Styles’ first title defense against Chavo Guerrero.

Vengeance: Night of Champions Results

Sabu defeated RVD in 12:00 to retain the Hardcore Title in a Tables Match.
Sabu and RVD fought in another classic brutal match after Sabu drove Rob through a table after a leg drop off the top rope with the aid of a steel chair. RVD could have won the match earlier, only for Sabu to have knocked down the referee earlier, so the ref wasn’t able to make the call of RVD becoming the new champion. RVD then brought in a steel chair after the ref was knocked down, and delivered a Van Daminator to Sabu, busting his former partner wide open. RVD was about to set Sabu up on top of the table, only for Paul Heyman, who came out with RVD, to low blow him from behind and nail him in the back with the chair, sending him on top of the table! The referee revived and Sabu quickly went up top and Paul gave him the chair, and then Sabu retained his Hardcore Championship!

Mickie James defeated Victoria in 7:25 to retain her Women’s Championship.
Victoria dominated nearly the whole match, but the resilient Mickie James kept kicking out of Victoria’s signature moves. Victoria nailed a very nice inverted suplex, only for Mickie to kick out. Victoria started to get frustrated, but she kept on the offensive, starting to stomp away at Mickie’s body. Victoria was then stopped by the referee, but when she turned around, Mickie was waiting for her and she nailed an enziguiri straight to the side of the head! Victoria didn’t go down straight away so while she was groggy, James bounced off the ropes and nailed her with a crossbody! Mickie then quickly bounces Victoria off the ropes and looks for a back drop, and it connects! She quickly lifts Victoria up but she is met with a right hand to the gut by Victoria, who then puts her in a powerbomb position looking for the Widow’s Peak, but when she lifted the champ up, Mickie nailed a Mickie DDT, which got her the 3 count!

The Rock N Sock Connection defeated Finlay and SCSA in 10:50 after a Stone Cold Steve Austin heel turn to become the new champs.
Finlay and Stone Cold Steve Austin looked set to retain their titles after Finlay nailed Mick Foley with his old finisher the Tombstone Piledriver, only for his cousin Vince McMahon to come out and distract him. The Rock helps his partner up, and Foley manages to get up groggily. Vince starts screaming at Finlay, and Finlay starts to ask him what he is doing here. McMahon tells him to turn around, and Stone Cold nails his partner with a Stone Cold Stunner as the crowd gets pissed off! Foley then nails him with a Double Arm DDT, and The Rock hits him with a People’s Elbow to get the three count. Foley, Rock and Austin raise each other’s hands, as he says this is the new Corporation! The new Corporation begin to beat down Finlay, and he is then taken down on a stretcher after getting his throat crushed with a People’s Elbow with a steel chair wrapped around his neck. Vince then comes into the ring and raises his Corporation’s hands.

Matt Hardy defeated Mr Kennedy to retain his United States Title.
Kennedy and Hardy put on a great match for the US Title, with Hardy coming out victorious after a Twist of Fate after a series of counters. Matt had hit his patented top rope leg drop during the match, but Mr Kennedy showed great ring presence (in the words of JR) to save the match. Kennedy hit a standing Green Bay Plunge, but Hardy managed to kick out of that. Kennedy the bounced Hardy off the ropes and looked for a back body drop, but Hardy managed to reverse that into a great DDT, sending Kennedy’s face straight down into the canvas! Hardy then heads up top looking for a diving elbow, but when he goes down, Kennedy gets his knees up and Hardy’s elbow clashes with Kennedy’s knees! Kennedy then climbs over for the cover, but that wasn’t enough! Kennedy then lifts Hardy back up and goes for a neck breaker but Hardy pushes him off and Kennedy nails the turnbuckle with his chest! Hardy then gets Kennedy in a school boy roll up, but Kennedy manages to get out of the pin! Hardy then charges at Kennedy, but he lifts him up into a Standing Green Bay Plunge position, but Hardy ducks over and goes for a Reverse Twist of Fate only for Kennedy to turn around and get him in a Northern Lights Suplex, but Hardy rolls over going for a Sunset Flip Powerbomb, but Kennedy stays vertical, only for Hardy to get up and run at Kennedy, going for a clothesline, but Kennedy traps him in a Mic Check position, only for Hardy to reverse that and get him in a front face lock and nail the Twist of Fate and that gets the 3 count!

Shelton Benjamin retained his Intercontinental Title after defeating Batista.
Shelton and Batista put on a great match with Shelton ended up prevailing in a very exciting, action packed match. Batista had hit a Spear in the first minute and it looked like Batista would get the easy victory and the championship, but Shelton managed to kick out much to Batista’s frustration. After the spear, Shelton managed to get back into the match, nailing Batista with a massive dragon whip, followed by a picture perfect super kick, but Batista also managed to kick out of that. Shelton then headed up top to go for a high risk manoeuvre, only for Batista to catch him, put him in his shoulders and nail a huge running powerslam! He covers, but he only gets a 2 count! Batista then lifts Shelton up and bounces off the ropes, but he is met with a swinging neck breaker from Shelton, followed with a leg drop across the throat! Shelton then waits for Batista to get up and he charges at him looking for the Reverse STO, but Batista reverses into a Spinebuster! Batista then goes over to the ropes nearby and starts shaking them, and goes back over to Benjamin. He then lifts up Benjamin looking for the Batista Bomb, but Shelton holds on to the ropes, flips down into a hurricanrana and hooks the legs in a move much similar to the West Coast Pop! 1...2...3! After the match when Batista gets up, Shelton extends his hand, and Batista accepts, only to pull him in and nail a Spinebuster, turning heel!

AJ Styles defeated Gregory Helms to retain his Cruiserweight Title.
This match took the MOTN honours, due to it's high flying action and daredvil antics. Helms looked to have the match won after he nailed AJ with a Nightmare on Helms Street, but Styles managed to kick out at 2. Styles hit the former super hero with a Sunset Flip Powerbomb from off the top rope, but that wasn't enough to make him retain his Cruiserweight Title. The action eventually spilled onto the outside, where Styles nailed an amazing springboard Shooting Star Press onto Helms, who was on the outside after a Pele Kick. Styles then got on the apron, looking for a hurricanrana to Helms off the apron, but Helms saw him coming and nailed him with an Alley Oop, sending him face first into the mats! Helms then lifted the champ up onto his shoulders, looking to give him a battering ram into the ring post but Styles managed to reverse by nailing a headscissors, smashing Helms' head into the ring post! Styles then sent him into the ring, and he followed him into the ring. Styles then whipped Helms into the corner and then went for a running splash, only for Helms to move! Styles was then lifted up onto the turnbuckle, and Helms then went for a Super Hurricanrana, but it turned out to be a huge mistake! When Helms went to release, Styles held on to him and stayed on the ropes, and Helms found himself in a Super Styles Clash Position! Styles then nailed him with the Super Styles Clash, and it was enough to keep his undefeated streak in the WWE alive!

The ECW Originals defeated Punk and Jericho with 2-1 to retain their Tag Team Championships.
(I will just do a brief description of the pinfalls)
1st Fall:
The match had gone for 7 minutes, and Punk had a steel chair in hand, waiting to smash Dreamer in the head. What Punk didn't know was that Sandman was getting up from behind him, and gave Punk a low blow, causing him to drop the chair! Dreamer was then helped up by his partner, and they nailed a Double DDT into a batch of thumbtacks while Jericho was down on the outside, getting the Tag Champs the first pinfall.
2nd Fall: Just when it looked like the challengers were down and out, they managed to get the second pinfall. As it looked Sandman would deliver the finishing blow to Punk with a Rolling Rock off the top of a ladder, Jericho appeared with Sandman's can and smashed him in the head, causing him to be sent to the outside. Punk then manages to get up, and he nails Dreamer with a GTS, quickly followed by a Jericho Codebreaker through a set up table which was in the corner, making it an even playing field!
3rd Fall: The match went on for a further 5 minutes after the second fall, sending the match beyond 20 minutes. Punk and Sandman were fighting on the top rope, where a table lay on the outside. Sandman and Punk continued to fight on the turnbuckle, Dreamer pushed both his opponent and his partner off, sending them threw the table! Jericho looks on as his partner crashes threw the table, so while he is distracted, Dreamer quickly lifts up Jericho and nails him with a Dreamer Driver onto Barby! The Originals retain their titles!

Randy Orton defeated John Cena and The Undertaker to become the NEW World Heavyweight Champion.
The match was evenly contested with Randy Orton eventually pulling out the shocking victory after a John Cena FU to the Undertaker, before throwing Cena out of the ring and pinning Taker to become the new World Champ. Cena and Orton were often double teaming The Undertaker, wearing him down, before quickly double crossing each other and going for the pin. Randy nailed Cena with a RKO, only for The Undertaker to break up the pin just before the referee counted to 3. Taker had locked in his submission hold on Orton, but Cena broke it up, and quickly went for the cover on Orton, but he managed to kick out, denying Cena a reign as the World Heavyweight Champ. Cena then went on the offensive from there dominating both The Undertaker and Randy. Cena nailed Randy with a Throwback, and then hit a Fishermen's Suplex on Orton, which enabled him to wotk on The Undertaker. Cena then started to hit Taker with all of his signature moves, but when it came to the Five Knuckle Shuffle, Taker sat up and wrapped his hand around the throat of Cena. When Taker stood up looking to Chokeslam him, Cena kicked him straight in the nuts, and then hoisted him up and nailed the FU! When he was about to go for the pin, Randy threw John out of thering and pinned Taker, becoming the World Champion once again!

Ric Flair defeated 5 other men to become the World Champ for the 17th time! WOOOO!
Entry Order:

1: MVP
2: HBK
3: JBL
4: Ric Flair
5: HHH
6: Rey Mysterio

Eliminations:
1: MVP via Sweet Chin Music[ from Shawn Michaels.

3: JBL via a low blow from Flair after an attempted Clothesline From Hell, followed by a Small Package and hook of the tights.
4: Rey Mysterio after an attempted BTM was reversed into a Pedigree from Triple H.
5. Triple H was eliminated by Ric Flair after he attempted a Pedigree. When Triple H went to drop Flair with his patented finisher, Flair reversed it into a Shin Breaker, quickly followed b a Figure Four Leg Lock right in the centre of the ring.

After the match, HBK came back down to the ring and HHH handed Ric his new title, showing he had heaps of respect for the Nature Boy!

Is this the PPV or did you not have the time to type up a real show, I'll give a semi-review later, because it's just results and recaps.

Raw Preview
One night after a huge Night of Champions PPV, RAW will come to you for the first ever time from Brisbane, Australia! And what a night it is shaped up to be!

Ric Flair pulled off the impossible, becoming the WWE Champion for the 17TH TIME! Flair won the title after locking in the Figure 4 Leg Lock on his friend and the former WWE Champion HHH to make the final elimination in the Elimination Chamber to become the new WWE Champion! We have learnt that HHH will start off the show. What will the former 12 time World Champ have to say? The only way to find out is by tuning into RAW!

There were also new champions crowned, thanks to the help of one Vincent Kennedy McMahon. The Rock N Sock Connection became the new World Tag Team Champions after it turned out that Stone Cold Steve Austin-McMahon was actually working with his father and plotting a turn against the Chairman's cousin and supposed tag team partner Finlay! Finlay will be out indefinitely, as VKM announced that The Rock N Sock Connection and SCSA were Vince's Coporation! What will the new Corporation have to say?

Also at Vengeance, another unexpected turn took place, with Batista turning a post match handshake into a huge Spinebuster to Shelton Benjamin after losing to the Intercontinental Champion! Shane McMahon has booked a rematch for the Intercontinental Title, except it will be in a fifteen foot high Steel Cage!

Rey Mysterio and MVP, have been having there differences lately, and hopefully they can settle them when they face a mystery tag team on RAW! Will they be able to put their differences aside, or will the fuse blow?

The only way to find out the answers to all these questions is by tuning in to this historic Australian episode of Monday Night RAW!

Monday Night Raw!

Raw starts off with it's usual pyro, and showing the Australian fans going wild. We then cut to Jim Ross and Jerry 'The King' Lawler.

JR: Hello and welcome to a very historic edition of Monday Night Raw! I'm Jim Ross joined by Jerry 'The King' Lawler, here in Brisbane, Australia!

King: It is great to be here JR! We have a historic Raw tonight, after a huge Vengeance which saw Ric Flair become a 17 time World Champion!

JR: It was a huge night last night, with Steve Austin, The Rock and Mick Foley joining Vince McMahon in the new Corporation.

King: It truly was shocking JR, but...

The King is cut off by 'Break it Down' which gets a big ovation from the crowd, as the former WWE Champion HHH and Mr. Money in the Bank Shawn Michaels make their way to the ring, slapping hands with the fans.

HHH: Are you ready?

Huge response from the crowd.

HHH: No, Brisbane, I said ARE YOU READYYYY!

Even bigger response.

HHH:
Now, for the thousands in attendance, the millions watching at home for the first time from Australia...

Cheap pop.

HHH: That's all I got this week. Seriously, do you know how hard it is to come up with something funny every damn week.

Crowd laugh, as HBK pats him on the back.

HHH: Anyway, LET'S GET READY TO SUCK IT!!!!!

Huge pop from the crowd.

HBK: And if you're not down with that, we just got 2 words for ya!!!!!

'SUCK IT!'.

HHH: Now let's get down to business. Last night, I lost my WWE Title.

There is a mixed reaction, due to Ric Flair winning the title.

HHH: However, I lost the title to a man I respect. So, Ric Flair, come down to the ring!

Massive response from the Brisbane crowd, as 'Space Odyssey 3000' hits to "WOOO'S" as the Nature Boy struts down to the ring, as DX get on their knees in the ring and start bowing and praising Flair. Flair gets in the ring and embraces both HHH and HBK, his best friends.

Flair: WOOOOO!

The crowd WOO! back.

Flair: Ric Flair is at the top of The Space Mountain once more, WOO!

The crowd cheer once again.

Flair: Last night, I defeated 5 men, 2 of the men my best friends, to become the WWE Champion for the 17th time!

Flair: The Nature Boy denied retirement once again. I will never retire, meaning I will never lose this title! WOOO!

The crowd cheer once again.

HHH: Sorry Ric to spoil the party, but I since that this night is a very historic night, I thought, why not have a historic main event!

The crowd like the idea.

HHH: Ric, I love you man, but nothing can stop me from becoming the WWE Champion, and tonight, I am cashing in my rematch clause!

The crowd pop big.

HHH: Tonight, The King of Kings goes back on his throne for the 13th time! With, Shawn Michaels as the Special Guest Referee!

HBK looks taken aback as the crowd pop massively, only for HBK to smirk, take a referee shirt out of his pocket which has DX spray painted on the front!

Ric: Triple H, it would be an honour to retire by losing to you, it would be an honour to retire in front of these fans, but The Nature Boy WILL NEVER RETIRE DAMN IT, WOOOO!

'Space Odyssey 3000' hits once again to a big ovation, as HHH and Ric approach each other, before hugging in the ring, as we cut back to JR and The King.

JR: Oh my god, did you hear that King. Not only with there be a Steel Cage Vengeance Rematch for the Intercontinental Title, we will have a Special Referee match between HHH and Ric Flair for the WWE Title with HBK as the Referee!

King: JR, this really is a historic night, and we have just started!

Match 1
Hardcore Holly w/ Cody Rhodes vs. Carlito

The match starts off with Holly and Carlito locking up in the centre of the ring, but the veteran Holly easily overpowers 'The Caribbean Superstar' Carlito, sending him to the corner and starts chopping the life out of him, turning Carlito's chest a very bright red. Holly then whips Carlito off the ropes, and nails a back body drop, quickly followed by an elbow to the chest. Holly then lifts up Carlito, and puts him up for a Delayed Vertical Suplex, only for Carlito to slide over the top, rake Holly in the eyes, before sending him shoulder first into the ring post! Carlito smirks, as Holly gets off the ring post, only for Carlito to give Holly a big clothesline, quickly followed by a knee drop to the face, as he climbs over for the cover! 1...2.Kickout by Holly, giving Carlito a quick 2 count. Carlito stays on the offensive however, repeatedly pounding away at Holly's head, as Cody is getting frustrated on the outside. Carlito then whips Holly into the corner with extreme force, sending Holly back down once again. He then whips Holly off the ropes, looking for a clothesline once more, only for Holly to duck under and nail a half nelson suplex, with both men collapsing to the mat. Cody starts to get behind his partner, and both Carlito and Holly get up at the same time, with Carlito beginning to punch Holly, only for Hardcore to retaliate with chops. The chops turned out to be too much for Carlito, as Holly took advantage, as he nailed Carlito with chop after chop after chop, eventually knocking the former US and Intercontinental Champion down. Holly begins to take control once again, nailing Carlito with an Atomic Drop, quickly followed by a picture perfect standing dropkick, causing Carlito to go against the ropes with his back to Holly, but that was a big mistake. Holly saw an opportunity, by seizing Carlito legs, causing his head and his shoulders to be resting on the ropes. Holly then nailed Carlito with his signature kick to the midsection while Carlito was resting on the ropes! Holly then waited for Carlito to get up, as he nailed him with a kick to the gut, and quickly got him in another suplex position. Instead of going for a suplex once again, he nailed Carlito with his signature Hollycaust (Sitout Suplex Slam)! Holly then climbs over for the cover, but he only gets a 2 count as Cody put Carlito's foot on the rope?! Holly nor the referee saw that Cody put Carlito's foot on the ropes, so the match continued. Cody smirked, as Holly had no idea. Holly then lifted Carlito up looking for The Alabama Slam, but Rhodes got up on the ring apron, as the crowd, the commentators and Hardcore were all confused to what he was doing. As the referee was checking on Carlito, who Holly had dropped, Cody quickly nailed Holy with a thumb to the eye! Holly stumbled backwards, straight into a Back Stabber by Carlito! 1...2...3!

Winner by pinfall: Carlito.

The referee raised Carlito's hand, as Rhodes slid into the ring and Carlito and Rhodes embraced! It was all a set up! The Australian crowd booed, but the two youngsters and what seemed to be a new tag team didn't care, as Rhodes lifted up his former partner, and nailed a Snap DDT, sending Holly's head straight into the mat! The youngsters posed, as we see Elijah Burke watching from the back.

JR: What the hell is this King? Cody Rhodes has turned against Hardcore Holly, and sided with Carlito?!

King: And what about Elijah Burke, is this the New Breed all over again?!

When we come back, we have Mike Adamle backstage.

Mike: Hello, I'm Mike Adamle, and joining me here is none other than the man who will defend his Intercontinental Title in a Steel Cage match against Batista, the Intercontinental Champion Shelton Benjamin!

Shelton walks into screen shot to a very big pop.

Mike: First off Shelton, congratulations on your huge win last night at Vengeance.

Shelton: Thank you, Mike.

Mike: But Shelton, the real question on everyone's mind, is do you know why 'The Animal' Batista...

Batista's name gets big heat from the crowd.

Mike: Do you know exactly why Batista would attack you like that?

Shelton: Mike, how about we roll the footage of what happened last night at Vengeance.

We are shown a replay of the aftermath of the Intercontintental Title match, where a Shelton Benjamin handshake was turned into a huge Batista Spinebuster.

The crowd boo when the video package finished.

Shelton: Batista, you made the biggest mistake of your life last night. Last night, I offered you a show of respect, and what you did was wrong. Batista, you really did unleash an animal, and you will see that animal tonight. Batista, you will see THAT THERE AIN'T NO STOPPIN ME NAAA!

Shelton leaves the set to a big pop, as Mike is just standing there with the microphone.

JR: Shelton doesn't seem to happy, King. I guess we will find out how angry Shelton really is in that Steel Cage match.

King: And not only is the Steel Cage match on tonight, we have a huge main event.

JR: King, this may be the biggest main event in RAW history. With Shawn Michaels as Guest Referee, HHH and Ric Flair will fight it out for Flair's new WWE Title. That is sure to be a slobber knocker!!

King: And when we come back from the break, Rey Mysterio and MVP will look to settle their differences against a mystery tag team.

JR: This is a match that you sure don't wanna miss!

Match 2
Tag Team Match
Rey Mysterio and MVP vs. AMW!

Rey Mysterio and MVP are waiting in the ring, when music that used to be heard in TNA hits, as the Australian fans rise to their feet! As 'Guilty' continues to play, Gail Kim comes out, quickly followed by James Storm and Chris Harris, America's Most Wanted!! Rey and MVP looked shocked, as well are the fans. The match starts off with Harris and Rey in the ring. With Harris ducking behind Rey and getting him in a waist lock. Rey then quickly switches around, and manages to get Chris in a headlock. Chris is easily about to counter, attempting to give Rey a back suplex, only for Mysterio to land on his feet. Mysterio then bounces off the middle rope and goes for his unique bulldog, but Harris catches Mysterio, only for Rey to roll through in a Victory Roll cover, but Harris rolled through into a cover of his own! 1...2...Mysterio gets out! Rey then quickly runs back at Chris, only for Harris to nail a huge back body drop! Harris then quickly lifts up Rey, and whips Mysterio into AMW's corner, where we see Storm waiting, ready for the tag. Harris then tags in Storm, as AMW nail Mysterio with a huge double suplex! Storm quickly goes for the first cover of the match.1...2...MVP comes into the ring and breaks up the count! Harris quickly intervenes as MVP begins to stomp away at Storm, as Harris and MVP begin to brawl on the outside. In the ring, Storm whips Rey across the ropes, only for when Rey comes back, Storm is hit with a huge head scissor takedown! Mysterio and Storm are down as we get to a commercial.

When we come back, we see MVP man handling Storm. MVP quickly nail James with an elbow to the back, and then starts to drag the former NWA Tag Team Champion across the ring, to where Mysterio is waiting for the tag. Mysterio is then tagged in by MVP, where MV continues to hold Storm face down. Mysterio then bounces off the top rope and nails a huge flip senton to the back of James Storm, who looks like he is out of it. Mysterio then flips over Storm, and goes for the pin. 1...2...3NO! Storm managed to get his foot on the rope! Rey and MVP are furious, although they continue to control Storm in their corner. Rey then lifts up Storm, and brings him to Rey’s corner. Rey then quickly tags in MVP, and exposes the body of James. MVP then lifts up Storm and whips him across the ropes, and when he returns, he wraps his hands around the sternum, looking for an overhead belly to belly suplex. Storm however, begins to elbow the back of MVP’s head, causing MVP to release the waist lock. Storm sees an opening, by quickly following with a kick to the sternum and a massive DDT! Both men are down in the centre of the ring, as both men try to get to their corners, as the Brisbane crowd and Harris get behind Storm to get to his partner. Storm is about a metre away from Harris, only for Rey to come barging in and pull Storm away by the ankle, causing Storm to be in the middle of the ring once again and most importantly, a very long way away from his partner! Rey then goes back on the apron, where MVP is already waiting for Mysterio to go back. Once Mysterio grabs hold of the tag rope, MVP tags in his partner. Mysterio then quickly goes back to Storm, and nails a leg drop across the back of the neck of Storm, who is trying to get to Harris very badly. Mysterio then drags Storm by the head towards the corner, where Mysterio then gets Storm in a front face lock. Mysterio then leaps off, going for a Tornado DDT, only for Storm to push Mysterio off, but Rey lands on his feet. Mysterio then charges back at James, only to be met with a huge jumping knee strike by Storm, smashing Mysterio straight in the jaw, knocking Rey out! Storm begins to crawl back to his partner, as we cut to another commercial.

*Commercial*

When we come back from the break, we have Harris now in the ring, exploding away at MVP. MVP, however, reverses an attempted Delayed Vertical Suplex, as when he was on top of Harris’ shoulders, he began to rake his eyes, causing Harris to be blinded, as MVP easily slid down. MVP then got behind Harris, turned him around, and whipped him into Rey and MVP’s corner. MVP then quickly went for the Playa’s Boot, only for Harris to move, and MVP smash Rey in the face inadvertently! MVP turns around, straight into a Cat Attack spear from Harris!! Harris, however, doesn’t go for the cover, but tags in his partner Storm, as Rey Mysterio enters the ring. He has a crazed look in his eyes, as he looks at AMW, then points to MVP and then the ropes. The crowd cheer, as AMW nod, before giving MVP a double superkick to the back of MVP’s head, causing him to rest his head between the second and third ropes! Harris climbs up to the top rope, as Mysterio smirks, and nails MVP with a 619!! MVP stumbles back, as Storm gets him in a bear hug hold, and Harris leaps off with a leg drop, creating a Death Sentence for MVP! Rey looks on as the crowd cheer the once again turned face Rey, as AMW pick up the three count, giving them their first WWE win in their first ever match!

Winners: America’s Most Wanted!

Gail Kim comes into the ring via the bottom rope, as Mysterio just looks at MVP with a smirk, as MVP is motionless on the mat, with his face down. Rey, within a split second, quickly bounced off the ropes, and nailed a picture perfect Springboard Moonsault Leg Drop! The crowd pop the move, as AMW leave. Rey stands on the top rope and poses, as the Brisbane crowd give Rey a standing ovation.

First part is pretty solid, the tag match was good, and I really liked the HHH/HBK and Flair interaction. HHH saying that he couldn't be funny every week was hilarious. I'll probably post a review when part 2 is up.
