JR: Welcome everyone to the global phenomenon known as Wrestlemania! I am Jim Ross joined here by my fellow Hall of Fame announcer Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler! King, what a show is planned for tonight here at Wrestlemania 24!!

King: I cannot wait JR! Wrestlemania is finally here! A triple threat match for the ages between three of the greatest wrestlers in the business, Triple H, Randy Orton, and of course, the WWE Champion, John Cena!

JR: Also tonight, Ric Flair’s career could be over by the end of the night when he faces off against the Chairman of the Board himself, Vince McMahon!

King: The legendary career of the Nature Boy could be over by the end of the night! And also, don’t forget the HUGE inter-promotional Money in the Bank ladder match, where the winner gets a title match at his choosing, whenever he wants it!

JR: It will be a huge night to say the least. It is now my pleasure to introduce Smackdown announcers Michael Cole and Tazz!

Michael Cole: Thank you JR and welcome to the biggest day in sports entertainment history, WRESTLEMANIA 24!!! I am Michael Cole introducing my partner Tazz and Tazz, perhaps the biggest main event in sports entertainment history is on the Smackdown side of things!

Tazz: No doubt Cole. It’s Streak vs. Streak. Edge vs. The Undertaker. The World Heavyweight Championship! It is sure to be a rocketbuster!

Cole: What about the rest of Edge’s Army, The Edge Heads, defending against the men who have been teaming up with the Undertaker the past couple of weeks, and former Tag Team Champions themselves, Batista and Rey Mysterio!

Tazz: Plus, Matt Hardy making his in-ring return against MVP in an I Quit match for the United States Championship. Tonight is going to be a rocketbuster!!!

Lillian Garcia: The opening contest is the Money In The Bank Ladder Match, where the only way to win is by retrieving the briefcase which is above the ring. The winner gets the privilege of having a championship opportunity whenever they wish up until Wrestlemania 25!

‘Sexy Boy’ hits as ‘Mr. Wrestlemania’ himself Shawn Michaels makes his way to the ring, in his black and red attire. While making his way down the ramp, he stares at the ladders, and then runs inside the ring, waiting for his other 5 opponents. The commentators talk about HBK’s experience in ladder matches, with HBK competing in the first ever Ladder match.

‘Samoa’ hits to heat as ‘The Samoan Bulldozer’ Umaga makes his way to the ring, pounding his chest and screaming Samoa.

‘Slow Chemical’ hits as The Big Red Machine Kane makes his way down to the ring, as the announcers talk about how Kane has experience in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

‘This Fire Burns’ hits as CM Punk comes down to the ring to a big pop and he too has had experience in this type of matchup.

‘Turn up the Treble’ hits to a pop as the recently turned face and last year’s winner of the MITB Match Mr. Kennedy makes his way down to the ring, but not before doing his famous entrance on the entrance ramp.

‘Loaded’ hits to a great pop as fan favourite, the Daredevil Jeff Hardy makes his way down to the ring, as one of the favourites in this match due to his experience with ladders. As Hardy is going down the entrance ramp, he stops at the ladders, but unlike Shawn Michaels, Hardy grabs the ladder and slides it into the ring.

MONEY IN THE BANK LADDER MATCH

HBK VS. JEFF HARDY VS. CM PUNK VS. KANE VS. UMAGA VS. MR KENNEDY

The match starts off with an electric crowd as each competitor pairs off with another, with Mr. Kennedy and former rival HBK battling it out, Punk and Hardy trading blows, and Kane and Umaga were having an all out war, with no one getting the better. Finally, when Punk held on to Hardy’s leg when he went for a kick, Hardy connected with a mule kick, and then Hardy was in control. He picked up the ladder that he had brought into the ring and smashed Umaga in the back of the head with it, which sent him into Kane then they both flew out of the ring near the entrance ramp. Kennedy saw this and approached his former rival, but Hardy nailed him in the gut with the ladder, and then made Kennedy hold the ladder, Van Daminator style. Hardy then bounced off the second rope and delivered a Springboard Dropkick TO THE LADDER THAT KENNEDY WAS HOLDING! Kennedy rolled to the outside of the ring where Kane and Umaga were still, slowly getting up. Hardy placed the ladder in the corner and then HBK, Hardy and CM Punk were now the ones standing in the ring, and they all looked at each other, but Punk and Hardy went after HBK, which then lead to them throwing HBK onto where the other three competitors were, sending them back down again. Punk went to the offensive once again, sending Hardy into the ladder that was set up in the corner. Punk suplexed Hardy onto the ladder, and then placed him under the ladder, giving the ladder extra support. Punk then gave a HOT SHOT OFF THE LADDER ONTO THE OTHER FOUR COMPETITORS THAT WERE OUTSIDE OF THE RING!!!! Punk then got up and did his arm pose, which got another big pop from the crowd.

Punk then went to the entrance ramp and got the big 20 foot ladder and made his way back to the ring, but Hardy was up, and delivered a baseball slide while Punk was holding the ladder, which sent both Punk and the ladder flying! Hardy then waited for everyone to get up, and tried to deliver a cross-body to the other competitors, but Kane got the ladder that was on the floor and SMASHED IT IN HARDY’S FACE WHILE HE WAS AIRBORNE! ‘Holy Shit’ chants ring out as Kane makes his way into the ring. He sets up the ladder and starts to climb up.

Umaga comes into the ring and pushes down the ladder, but Kane lands on his feet, and then he charges at Umaga, but Umaga catches him with a Samoan Drop onto the Ladder!! ‘Holy Shit’ chants ring out again as Umaga starts posing to heat. Meanwhile on the outside, HBK had gotten up and searched under the ring, and threw out a ladder, but it obviously wasn’t what he was looking for, as he went back searching under the ring and he got a TABLE! The crowd popped huge for this as HBK went inside the ring and while Umaga had his back turned, smashed Umaga in the back of the leg with the table. HBK set up the table and got the ladder that he got out before and slid it into the ring. HBK was then about to climb the ladder but Kennedy came back in and DELIVERED A MIC CHECK TO HBK ONTO THE LADDER THAT WAS ON THE FLOOR! He then rested HBK on the ladder, and then climbed onto the rope, but Punk had gotten up and delivered a ladder shot to the head of Kennedy, which sent him to the outside of the ring! Punk then went up top, and was perhaps looking for a moonsault to Michaels while he was on the ladder, but Hardy had gotten up, and NAILED A SPRINGBOARD SUNSET FLIP POWERBOMB TO PUNK WHICH SENT HIM ONTO HBK WHO WAS ON THE LADDER!!!!! ‘Holy Shit’ rings out once again, but even louder this time.

Everyone is down as the crowd is giving them a standing ovation, but then KANE SITS UP!! Kane gets up, and Umaga is the next up, but Kane delivers and a Chokeslam! Hardy gets up, but he is Chokeslammed as well! Kennedy gets up and slides in the ring, but Kane goes for a Chokeslam again, but Kennedy reverses into a SPIKE DDT ONTO THE LADDER! Kennedy looks to see that everyone is down and then starts climbing the ladder, and he may become Mr. MITB for the second year in a row.

***6 RUNGS TO GO***

Punk nails a Springboard Dropkick to the ladder, which sends Kennedy outside the ring and Kennedy smashes his head on the barricade! Punk then looks down at Kennedy, and he got revenge for last year when Kennedy cost Punk the briefcase. Punk then looks up, but HBK has gotten up, and delivers a little Sweet Chin Music to Punk!! HBK starts climbing the ladder, but Umaga climbs up the other side. The two trade blows until Umaga gains the advantage, and delivers a SAMOAN SPIKE TO HBK FROM THE TOP OF THE LADDER!!!!! HBK is unconscious as Umaga stares at him. While Umaga is staring at Shawn, Hardy climbs the other side of the ladder. Hardy goes up and starts punching away at Umaga, but Umaga gains control again, and goes FOR A SAMOAN SPIKE OFF THE TOP OF THE LADDER AGAIN, but Hardy dodges under and locks him in a front face lock! He then NAILS A TWIST OF FATE OFF THE TOP OF THE LADDER THROUGH THE TABLE TO UMAGA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ‘Holy F*CK!N Shit!!!’ chants ring out, as Umaga looks dead, as the EMT’s come out and put Umaga on a stretcher, but when they try and put Hardy on a stretcher, he shrugs them off and he will continue on in the match to a MASSIVE POP!!!
Punk gets up after the Sweet Chin Music, but Kane is also up. Kane climbs one ladder while Punk sets up another and climbs that one. The two start punching away and Punk looks like falling, Kane misses a right hand, and Punk connects with a right hand to the sternum, and gets him in a Pedigree position, and NAILS A PEPSI PLUNGE OFF THE TOP OFF THE LADDER!!! Kane is out of it and now the two monsters are out of this match up! Kennedy is the first up after he was thrown off the ladder and onto the outside. For the second time in the match, Kennedy attempts to retrieve the briefcase as he starts climbing the ladder.

Jeff Hardy gets up seemingly out of nowhere and starts clubbing Kennedy in the back with right hands. Hardy then POWERBOMBS KENNEDY OFF THE LADDER! Hardy looks to climb up the ladder, but he sees the ladder in the corner and climbs up that. Hardy does his brother’s V1 signal, and hits KENNEDY WITH A SWANTON BOMB OFF THE TOP OF THE LADDER!!!!! Kennedy is out cold! As HBK finally gets up after that Samoan Spike, Punk gets up as well, and drags a ladder that was lying on the ground and then gets Michaels in a suplex position. He goes to suplex HBK onto a ladder, but Michaels trips him up which smashes Punk’s neck and back onto the ladder. Then he opens the ladder and rolls Punk into the ladder, so that he is face up. HBK THEN LOCKS IN HIS HEARTBREAKER SUBMISSION HOLD ON PUNK WHILE HE IS TRAPPED IN THE LADDER, SO HE CAN’T GET UP! Hardy has recovered and HBK releases the hold, but it is too late as Hardy drop toe holds him onto the ladder that Punk was in, sandwiching Punk! Hardy then looks up, and climbs one of the ladders that are directly under the briefcase, and if he wins this, it will give him a prime opportunity to win his first ever World Title in the next year!

Hardy is touching the briefcase, but he sees HBK and stops climbing. He looks down at Mr Wrestlemania and starts shaking his head, begging HBK off. HBK gets off, but he then SUPERKICKS THE LADDER DOWN WHILE HARDY WAS UP THE TOP, WHICH SENDS HARDY FLYING AND HE CROTCHES HIMSELF ON THE TOP ROPE!!! Crowd starts chanting ‘Holy Shit’ once again, and HBK looks around and immediately starts climbing the ladder.

HBK starts to touch the briefcase, but sees Punk getting up on the other side of the ladder, and he eventually reaches the top off the ladder as HBK starts punching away at Punk, but Punk catches him onto his shoulders, looking perhaps for a GTS off the top of the ladder, but HBK reverses INTO A SUNSET FLIP POWERBOMB OFF THE TOP OF THE LADDER!!! HBK manages to get up straight away, but he sees Kennedy charging at him with the ladder, but he SUPERKICKS THE LADDER INTO THE FACE OF KENNEDY!! HBK once again checks if everyone is down, as Kane has been taken to the back and Hardy is still unconscious on the outside. HBK starts climbing the ladder once again, this time having a clear path!

JR: BY GAWD! THAT WAS ABSOLUTELY BRUTAL! HBK IS NOW MR. MONEY IN THE BANK!!

The commentators talk about how brutal the match was, while they replayed the main spots in the match, while praising Hardy’s daredevil antics.

*A video package starts, hyping the Tag Team Championship match between the Edge Heads and Batista and Rey Mysterio. It dates back to Armageddon when The Major became the Edge Heads.*

WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS

BATISTA AND REY MYSTERIO VS. THE EDGE HEADS

This match went on for 10 or so minutes, with the Edge Heads using dirty tactics, while Batista and Rey Mysterio use their strength and speed to wear them down. Batista had hit a huge spear during the match onto Hawkins, but Ryder broke it up, so Mysterio went and attacked Ryder, delivering a cross body which sent them both onto the outside of the ring. Hawkins who saw his partner being taken out, turns around, but Batista goes for a Spinebuster, but Hawkins rolls through into a Sunset Flip pin and hooks the tights! 1...........2........THE REF SEES! Hawkins tells him it is his last warning, but he goes outside and picks up one of the title belts. As Ryder smashes Mysterio into the steel steps, the ref goes outside to try and stop the men fighting, so while the ref is distracted, Hawkins nails Batista with the title belt! Ryder tells the ref to look in the ring, as the ref quickly goes in the ring as Curt covers. 1......2.....NO! Batista somehow manages to kick out! Curt and Zack get frustrated, so Curt tags in Ryder, as Ryder goes up top. Ryder attempts a cross body onto Batista but Batista reverses into a HUGE spinebuster! Cover by Batista! 1...2...Broken up by Hawkins. Hawkins charges at Big Dave, but he ducks and Curt hits the referee. Batista then spears Hawkins as Mysterio has made his way back up to the apron, cheering his partner on, as he finally makes it to Mysterio, as Mysterio explodes!

Mysterio nails a springboard cross body to Hawkins, and then hits hurricanrana onto Ryder, and starts pounding away at Ryder, and then dropkicks Hawkins back out of the ring, and now the two legal men are now the only ones left in the ring. Rey heads over to Ryder and the ref gets up, as the ref looks to see if Hawkins is alright on the outside, Ryder low blows Mysterio, and as Batista heads back into the ring, he gets blasted in the eyes with the title belt. Ryder then picks Mysterio up and goes behind him. Ryder then nails his Lifting Reverse DDT, and covers Mysterio. 1.....2....3!!

WINNERS: THE EDGE HEADS!

The Smackdown! Commentators talk about the cheating tactics of the Edgeheads, saying how despicable it was, with Cole saying they must have learnt it from Edge.

*The Intercontinental Title Match Package starts, with Lashley beating Elijah Burke in the Number 1 Contender’s match on Raw, with Carlito assaulting Bobby Lashley after the match with a Backstabber*

INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP

CARLITO VS. BOBBY LASHLEY

This was a very exciting match between these two future superstars of the WWE, with these two having great chemistry with each other, although they haven’t been in the ring with each other many times. Surprisingly, Carlito uses clean tactics, as Lashley uses his combination of speed and power to dominate Carlito. Lashley managed to kick out of a huge superplex from Carlito, and also a Spike DDT. Carlito did not know how to win, as whenever he went for a Backstabber or one other of his signature moves, Lashley easily overpowered Carlito, as he had obviously done his homework. After an impressive showing that had only disappointingly gone for 7 minutes, it looked as though we would crown a new champion, as Lashley hit one of his signature moves, a one arm Delayed Vertical Suplex. Lashley had then gone for a Spear, but Carlito moved and Lashley smashed the metal ring post! Carlito quickly seized the opportunity, and nailed a Shoulder Breaker, and it looked as though he would get the win! 1...2..KICKOUT! Carlito started to get frustrated, as he was using everything in his arsenal, but it wasn’t enough to finish off Lashley!

Carlito had had enough, and started reverting to his dirty tactics, as he exposed the second turnbuckle. He went over to Lashley and started pounding away at his head, BUSTING LASHLEY OPEN! Carlito started to smirk, as he lifted Lashley up and Irish whipped him into the ropes, and he went for a back body drop, only for Lashley to boot him in the face, and delivered a charging Shoulder Tackle, which flipped Carlito over. Lashley then scooped up Carlito and delivered his old finisher the Dominator (Inverted front Power slam)! Cover by Lashley! 1...2...FOOT ON THE ROPE! Carlito got his foot on the rope, so this match will continue! Lashley then goes into a Three Point Stance and goes for the Spear once again, but Carlito moves and sends Lashley into the exposed turnbuckle, but the ref didn’t see! Carlito then hits the Backstabber finally! Cover by Carlito! 1....2....3!!! Carlito has produced an upset win!

WINNER: CARLITO

The announcers say how Carlito has pulled off an upset victory, as JR says how Carlito used illegal tactics, but King says it’s not illegal if the ref doesn’t see it.

HBK cuts a promo on how he is Mr Money in the Bank, and that in the next year, the Showstopper will go back on his throne!

*A video package hyping the Submission Match between JBL and Chris Jericho. They show the matches between these two, with their Royal Rumble match and how they cost each other a shot at the WWE Championship in the Elimination Chamber. They show how JBL adopted the Texas Cloverleaf (as he is a Texan). They show the challenge by JBL for a Submission Match at Wrestlemania, with Y2J accepting*

SUBMISSION MATCH

Y2J VS. JBL

This match went on for quite a while, with 20 minutes of solid, exciting wrestling from these two veterans of the ring. The match had a hardcore side as well as a Submission match has no DQ, and the only way to win is by making your opponent tap out. The two used a trash can, a chair and the television chord that they have been using so often in the past couple of weeks. They eventually made their way onto the outside, with JBL clearing the announce table, while Jericho recovered after being smashed into the steel steps. Jericho had attempted a Walls of Jericho earlier on in the match, but JBL kicked him off. JBL locked in the Texas Cloverleaf, but Jericho picked up the steel chair that was near-by and smashed JBL in the back of his head, which forced him to get off.

Jericho had gotten up, and charged at JBL with a clothesline, but Bradshaw locked him in with his trademark Sleeper Hold. Jericho’s arm goes down twice, but when the ref goes for the third time, Jericho managed to keep his arm up! The crowd starts chanting for Jericho, and he finds enough momentum to throw Bradshaw over his shoulders and onto the exposed mat! They both collapsed to the floor as the crowd is giving them a standing ovation for this display. Jericho gets the ring bell from ringside and charges at Bradshaw, but JBL boots the ring bell straight into his face, AND NOW JERICHO IS BLEEDING!

JBL then tucks The Saviour under his legs, and goes for his signature Powerbomb through the announce table, but Jericho slides over him when he is in the Powerbomb position. He gets the ring bell that was near-by, and smashes JBL in the head with it! JBL doesn’t go down straight away, and is now leaning up against the announce table. Jericho then goes over to JBL, and NAILS THE CODEBREAKER THROUGH THE ANNOUNCE TABLE!! “Holy Shit†chants ring out once again, as Jericho proceeds to lock in the Walls of Jericho, but it is Submissions Count Anywhere, and JBL can’t get to the ropes because there are no ropes!! JBL eventually taps out, and Chris Jericho has managed to defeat JBL!

WINNER: Y2J CHRIS JERICHO!

*The announcers put over the match, showing the destroyed Spanish announced table, and Jericho and Bradshaw getting help and being taken to the back after such a brutal contest. When a bloody Jericho is being helped by the referees, he shrugs them off and does his signature arm pose, and then walks to the back on his own to a huge pop from the crowd*

We go to a backstage segment, with Todd Grisham talking to The Nature Boy Ric Flair! When Flair comes on the screen he gets a godly pop from the crowd, with lots of “WOOO’S!†Grisham asks Flair how he is feeling tonight, as he may have the last match of his career. After Flair says that it would be an honour to retire in front of these fans, but a disgrace to lose to Vince McMahon. Ric then says to Vince “Good Luck, and WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!â€

*They show a video package of the Rock and Mick Foley’s greatest matches, matches against each other and with each other. It shows The Rock N’ Sock Connection’s return on the Raw after No Way Out, and winning the Tag Team Titles. Lastly, it shows Mick coming up with the idea of the Rock vs. Sock match, and The Rock accepting the proposal, with the two best friends and tag team champions shaking hands.*

ROCK VS. SOCK

THE ROCK VS. MICK FOLEY

This match was greatly appreciated by the fans, as these two friends and legends do battle for the entertainment and enjoyment of the fans. Earlier in the match, The Rock somehow kicked out of a vicious Double Arm DDT, and managed to get out of the Mandible Claw. Also, Mick managed to kick out of a Spinebuster from the Rock, and manage to avoid a People’s Elbow from the Rock. It was obvious that these two former foes and now friends and Tag Team Champions have done their homework, as they keep reversing the others finishing manoeuvre. The match had gone for about 15 minutes, and there was not the slightest of ideas of who would win this contest, as it was so evenly matched!

Mick put The Rock onto the top rope, perhaps looking for a superplex. The two partners traded blows while they were up top, but the Rock manages to punch Foley off, but instead off The Rock hopping off, he waits for Foley to get up, and The Rock may do something very unorthodox here! The Rock leaps off for a flying clothesline, but Mick Foley catches him, into the Mandible Claw!!!! MICK HAS GOT THE MANDIBLE CLAW LOCKED IN ON HIS BEST FRIEND THE ROCK! The Rock is fading, and it looks as though Mick has won this contest, but as it looks like Rocky has faded, he springs back to life, and NAILS A ROCK BOTTOM ONTO MICK FOLEY! Cover by The Rock, and this one could be over! 1.....2.....3!!!

WINNER: THE ROCK

After the match, it looks as though The Rock is going to leave the ring, but he stops at the ropes. He goes back to over to Mick, and helps him up. The Rock stretches out his hand, and Foley accepts, and then hugs The People’s Champ. The two men raise each other’s arms, as the crowd is screaming their lungs out, giving their respect for these two legends and most certainly two future Hall of Famers.

They go backstage with Hulk Hogan, talking about his match later on tonight against the Big Show, in what they call 21 years on. Hulk talks about how the Big Show used to compare himself with Andre, and that they are very similar, as what happened to Andre 21 years ago, will happen to the Big Show later tonight. “Big Show. Take your vitamins and say your prayers, because you are going down, brother!â€

HARDCORE CHAMPIONSHIP

RVD VS. SHELTON BENJAMIN

While RVD is making his entrance, he brings the trolley cart full of weapons to the ring. Some of the weapons was a trash can full of street signs, a kendo stick, a barbed wire steel chair and a barbed wire board. Shelton didn’t come to the ring empty handed either, with a bag of thumbtacks and some lighter fluid. It was sure to be a hellacious and bloody match, and it didn’t take long for the match to get ugly, as in the first 5 minutes of the match, Shelton gave the Hardcore Champion RVD a vicious Spike DDT, straight onto the barbed wire chair. RVD somehow managed to kick out of the devastating move, but that didn’t stop him from wearing the proverbial crimson mask. Shelton also shed some blood though, after he was superplexed off the top rope and onto the barbed wire board, which made a deep gash in Shelton’s back. Shelton somehow managed to kick out of that, and after only 7 minutes into this match up, the blood stained the mat, and these two could barely stand.

Later on in the match, RVD went outside of the ring and got a TABLE. He slid it into the ring, but Shelton had gotten up, and smashed RVD in the head with the street sign. The Golden Standard dragged over a trash can that was lying in the ring towards him and RVD, and then he went to suplex Rob onto the trash can, but RVD ducked behind Benjamin and nails a German Suplex onto the trash can as the crowd start chanting “Benoitâ€. RVD completes the German Suplex with a Bridge, and this one may be over! 1.....2....KICKOUT! RVD cannot believe it. He goes over and gets the Barbed wire steel chair, and charges at Benjamin, but Benjamin ducks and RVD smashes the chair into the ropes and it rebounds and smashes him in the head! Benjamin quickly capitalises and nails an EXPLODER SUPLEX!! 1....2....KICKOUT FROM RVD!

Shelton and the fans can’t believe it, but he goes over and gets the table that RVD had brought into the ring earlier. He was about to go back to RVD, before he saw the lighter fluid bottle he had brought to the ring. He got a lighter, and then he LIT THE TABLE ON FIRE! Shelton gave an evil smirk and then went back to RVD. He threw RVD near the table, but not onto it. Shelton then picked up the barbed wire steel chair and ran at RVD, trying to smash him in the head with the chair, but RVD dodged, but Shelton managed to stop before he ran into the table. He turned around, with the chair raised, but RVD CAUGHT HIM WITH A VAN DAMINATOR WITH THE BARBED WIRE STEEL CHAIR WHICH SENT SHELTON THROUGH THE FLAMING TABLE!!!!! The fire extinguished as the crowd started to scream, as RVD then went back over to Benjamin, and draped an arm over him. 1...2...3!!!

WINNER: RVD

The two extremely talented men lay in the ring, as the crowd gave them a standing ovation, while chanting “E-C-DUB!†RVD had gotten up gingerly, while Shelton started to stir. It took a matter of time before both men got up, but when they had gotten up, Benjamin extended his hand to RVD, and RVD accepted, with Shelton officially turning face. The two left the ring, RVD a little later, as he posed to the crowd.

They go to an Undertaker Wrestlemania moment, with him defeating the legendary Ric Flair at Wrestlemania X-8.

*They show Hulk Hogan against Andre the Giant from Wrestlemania 3, with the infamous slam from Hulk. They go forward 21 years, with Hulk Hogan and The Big Show returning and Hulk challenging Show to a match, which he accepted. They show the Smackdown from two nights ago with the segment between Show and Hulk, which culminated in Show giving Hulk a Chokeslam*

21 YEARS ON

HULK HOGAN VS. THE BIG SHOW

This match was horrible, with an old washed up wrestler and a man who can hardly run these days, and I’m just talking about Hulk Hogan. This match was absolutely dreadful, with Big Show dominating, but then Hulk started to ‘Hulk up’, but the Big Show started taking charge again. The Big Show had hit a Chokeslam during the match, but Hulk kicked out. The match, fortunately to all those seeing it, only went on for about 5 minutes, before the ever so predictable ending came. The Big Show had gotten frustrated, after Hulk kicked out of his signature Chokeslam. Surprisingly, when Hulk kicked out, he got major boos from the crowd, as they thought the match was over. That’s how bad it was, with a face Hall of Famer being booed, and we are talking about someone who is as popular as Hulk Hogan!

After 5 whole minutes of “solid†action, The Big Show lifted up Hogan, and whipped him into the corner. He started bouncing his head onto the turnbuckle, but Hulk starting Hulking up once again, and hopefully for the last time in this atrocious match, and did the “YOU!†which got a huge pop from the crowd, because that normally means the match is near finishing!

Big Show bounces off the ropes, but Hogan catches him with a right, and another right, and another, and another, and another, and another and one more, and now Big Show is standing groggily, and Hulk NAILS A HUGE SLAM ONTO SHOW, MANAGING TO LIFT HIM UP! The crowd actually pops the spot, although there are still chants of “BORING!†Hulk bounces off the ropes and hits THE LEG DROP! 1....2....3!!

WINNER: HULK HOGAN

Hogan does his usual stuff after the match, playing to the crowd.

We go to another Undertaker moment, with him defeating Batista last year for the World Heavyweight Championship.

We go backstage with the United States Champion MVP! Montel gets big heat from the crowd, but he doesn’t care. He starts talking trash about Matt Hardy, before ending with his signature saying “I am Half-Man and Half-Amazing, and Matt, tonight I will prove dat’ I am better than you!â€

“WOOOOOOOOOO!†hits to an immense pop as The Nature Boy Ric Flair comes out to the ring!! The crowd start bowing, and start a “Flair†chant, as Ric starts screaming out “WOOO!â€

“No Chance†hits to huge heat as Vince come down to the ring, and for some reason he has Hornswoggle with him.

RIC FLAIR VS. MR VINCE MCMAHON

The match starts off with the two men approaching each other and bad mouthing each other, until Vince slaps Ric across the face. Flair, wipes his cheek, and then slaps Vince, before screaming out “WOOOOOO!â€, which gets a huge pop from the crowd. Vince then pokes Ric in the eye, and starts pounding away at Flair, and then starts stomping him, which gets HUGE heat from the crowd. He then mounts Flair, and starts delivering punches straight to Flair’s head. Vince then goes outside the ring and gets not one, but two steel chairs. He throws them into the ring and then looks under the ring apron, where he finds a kendo stick, and he brings that into the ring as well. Flair is getting up, but Vince smashes him in the back with the kendo stick, and starts posing with it, to an ungodly amount of heat! Vince then gets one of the chairs that were in the ring, and smashes Flair in the face with it!

Vince was dominating the match already , and the match had only gone for about a minute. Vince then gets the chair again, and places it in between the second and third turnbuckles. Vince goes back over to Flair, but Ric had recovered and gotten the other steel chair that was in the ring and smashes Vince in the face with it! Flair then goes outside the ring and gets the steel steps from ringside and slides it into the ring. Flair then goes over to the Smackdown announce table, where he takes it apart and gets a television monitor from the table and throws that into the ring as well. Flair goes into the ring, and clotheslines Vince down again. Flair gets the television monitor that he brought into the ring, and SMASHES VINCE IN THE FACE WITH IT!!! Flair gets a huge pop as he does the Flair Strut around the ring.

Flair then gets the ring steps that he put into the ring earlier and drags them over to where Vince is unconscious. He puts Vince’s motionless head onto the steps, similar to a con chair to position. Flair then bounces off the ropes, and NAILS A SICK KNEE DROP ONTO VINCE’S HEAD WHICH IS ON THE STEEL STEPS! The crowd start cheering for Flair once again, as he picks up a chair and drags it over to where Vince is. Flair picks Vince up, and nails a SUPLEX ONTO THE CHAIR! Flair goes for a cover on McMahon, and this one can be over early! 1....2....NO! McMahon somehow managed to kick out, but Flair goes straight back to the offensive. Flair goes and hits a body suplex onto Vince, and then goes back outside the ring, perhaps looking for another weapon.

Flair takes off the steel steps that he didn’t take off last time, and he found a LEAD PIPE! Flair puts that into the ring, and then looks under the ring once again, and for some strange reason, Ric has taken out a ladder!? Flair slides that into the ring, and sets that up into the corner, while Vince is getting up. When Flair turns around, Vince nails him with a LOW BLOW! Vince smirks and then takes off his leather belt, and starts whipping Flair, as he grimaces in pain. Vince whips Flair about 15 times, and Flair’s back is now a very bright red. Vince then stops whipping him, but then gets his other favourite foreign object, the lead pipe that Flair had brought into the ring.

Vince waited for the Sixteen Time World Heavyweight Champion to get to his feet, and then BUSTS HIM IN THE FACE WITH THE LEAD PIPE! Vince smirks and does his signature strut, which gets massive heat! Vince then picks up his leather belt once again, and picks Flair up. Vince puts the leather belt around Ric’s neck and goes behind Ric, and NAILS A RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP WITH LEATHER BELT! Vince then covers Ric, and Flair’s career could be over right now!! 1....2...3NO!!! Flair kicks out at 2.99, and Vince is furious!! Vince then goes outside the ring, and searches under the apron once again. The crowd wondered what Vince was going to get, as they had used everything but the kitchen sink, but that is exactly what he got, the KITCHEN SINK! Mr. McMahon slides it into the ring, and picks it up, and when Ric gets up, Vince smashes Flair in the head with it, and The Nature Boy fell like a ton of bricks! Vince isn’t done, as he beckons someone from the back, and it’s Earl Hebner! The original referee from the Montreal Screwjob from Survivor Series 1997 is making his way to the ring, perhaps going to screw another legendary career! The crowd gives deafening heat, as they don’t want the legendary Ric Flair’s career to end this way. After looking around the arena, VINCE LOCKS IN THE SHARPSHOOTER TO RIC TO EAR SPLITTING HEAT!! RIC’S CAREER WILL BE OVER! Just as Earl is about to call for the bell, music that has not been heard in a very long time plays, but it gets a raucous, ear-splitting, godly ovation. It is the music... OF BRET HART!

‘HITMAN’ HITS AND BRET HART LOOKS AROUND, SOAKING IN THIS PHENOMENAL VIEW AND OVATION, BEFORE SPRINTING DOWN TO THE RING AS VINCE’S JAW DROPS, AND HE BREAKS THE HOLD! Vince and Bret have an intense stare down, until Bret decks Vince with a right hand, which knocks him down! Bret then went over to Hebner, and knocked him down as well. Hart helps Flair up, and then they double clothesline Hebner over the top rope, which send him crashing over the top rope! Bret then gets the ladder that was in the ring, and then BRET AND RIC NAIL A HART ATTACK ONTO THE LADDER! Bret then tells Ric to go for it, but then tells him to stop. He points to the entrance ramp, when................

‘GLASS SHATTERS’ AND STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN MAKES HIS WAY TO THE RING, IN A REFEREE’S SHIRT!!! Ric has a smirk on his face, and then gives out a ‘WOOOOOOOOOO!’ RIC THEN LOCKS IN A FIGURE 4 LEG LOCK ONTO VINCE MCMAHON, AS STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN RINGS THE BELL STRAIGHT AWAY WITHOUT VINCE EVEN TAPPING OUT, CREATING A SCREWJOB VICTORY FOR RIC FLAIR!!!

WINNER: RIC FLAIR!!

The crowd are absolutely screaming their lungs out, absolutely loving this segment between these three legendary men, as Hornswoggle is excited, as it looks like he is going to piss his pants of excitement. Vince looks like he is going to cry, as Bret, Ric and Steve all share a beer, but when they start drinking, Bret stops and looks at Vince. Vince looks like the shit left his pants at that very moment, as Bret starts shaking his head, and then BRET LOCKS IN THE SHARPSHOOTER ONTO VINCE!!!! The crowd are screaming their lungs out as Vince grimaces in pain!

We go backstage to John Cena, who is cutting a promo, saying that he will do anything to keep the thing he desires the most in this business, the WWE Championship. He looks like he is going to cry during the promo, and at the end he literally screams’ THE CHAMP IS HERE!!!!!’

I QUIT MATCH

UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP

MVP VS. MATT HARDY

This was an absolutely brutal match between these two fierce foes that have been feuding since the Great American Bash. These two had been WWE Tag Champions with each other during 2007, although reluctantly. These two had actually gone into the parking lot, where Matt nailed a Twist of Fate onto a hood of a car, but he still didn’t win as MVP couldn’t say I Quit, since he was unconscious. The match also involved ladders, Matt’s favourite weapon, but it didn’t turn out too good for Matt, after MVP gave him a Playmaker onto the ladder. The match had gone about 25 minutes, with solid, brilliant action throughout. This match was considered Match of the Night, and when you saw the whole match, it would be hard to disagree. These two had gone up to the Wrestlemania set, where they fought 35 feet in the air.

MVP had brought Matt up there; while the ref reluctantly followed. It looked as though Matt was finished, as MVP repeatedly smashed Matt’s head into the Wrestlemania 24 logo, which bloodied the sign. It looked as though Matt was going to fall, but he regained his composure, and regained his balance. MVP looked to clothesline Hardy off the set, but Matt pulled something out of his pocket, and smashed MVP in the jaw, with a STEEL CHAIN! MVP stumbled and he looks like he is going to fall off!

Matt quickly seizes the opportunity, and starts to work on MVP. He picks MVP up, and gets him in a front face lock, but MVP screams out something, as the ref puts the microphone he had to Porter’s mouth. “No Matt, DON’T. I QUIT!!!†Matt Hardy is the new United States Champion in his return night!

WINNER AND NEW CHAMPION: MATT HARDY

Matt has a smile over his face, after finding out he won the US Title, but then fire comes in his eyes, remembering what MVP did to him. HARDY THEN GIVES MVP A TWIST OF FATE OFF THE WRESTLEMANIA SET!!! Matt then looks down at the motionless MVP, before screaming “VEEEEEEE ONE AHHHHHHHHHH!†BEFORE NAILING A LEG DROP OFF THE SET! The crowd start screaming “Holy Shit†and they start up a Hardy chant. The EMT’s come out and starts attending to the two men, as they put the title around Matt’s waist. Ehen they wheel the two men out, Matt does his V1 symbol, similar to Jeff did in January. The crowd gives a huge pop to Matt as he leaves.

JR:
OH MY GOD! WHAT A NIGHT! And King, we still haven’t finished with the two main events still to come!

King: I know JR, and what a main event it is, a Triple Threat match between Triple H, Randy Orton and John Cena for the WWE CHAMPIONSHIP!

JR: Absolutely King. This all started in October, when Randy Orton put John Cena out of action, but then Cena returned at the Royal Rumble and last month at No Way Out, John Cena regained the WWE Title from Randy Orton, and Triple H won a Number 1 Contender Elimination Chamber match, which sent him right here, at Wrestlemania.

King: But let’s not forget that Randy Orton was furious about his loss, so he cashed in his rematch clause, and it became a Triple Threat match at the Grandest Stage of them All, Wrestlemania 24.

*Video Package highlighting the key events that happened in the main event scene on Raw surrounding the WWE Championship. It starts from No Way Out with HHH winning the Chamber, Cena winning and the stare down at the end. It shows Randy cashing in his rematch clause for Wrestlemania, and at the contract signing with Randy nailing an RKO onto both of his opponents, and standing tall doing his destiny pose while posing with the WWE Championship.*

“Burn in my Light†hits as Randy Orton makes his way to the ring to very big heat, as he does his Destiny pose on the entrance ramp.

‘Time to Play the Game’ hits to a massive pop, one of the biggest of the night. The King of Kings walks onto the entrance ramp and spits the water out of his mouth.

‘My Time is Now’ hits to a very strong mixed reaction, about 70/30 positive, as the WWE Champion John Cena makes his way down to the ring, holding his title up high before looking at his two challengers
.

Howard Finkel:
The following contest is for the WWE CHAMPIONSHIP! The only way to win this match is by pinfall or submission, as there are no count-outs or disqualifications. Introducing the competitors. Firstly, weighing in at 273 pounds, from St Louis Missouri, he is a 2 time WWE Champion, a former World Heavyweight Champion, he is the Legend Killer, Randy Orton!

(Crowd boos heavily)

Fink:
Introducing next, he is an 11 time World Champion, weighing in at 264 pounds, from Greenwich, Connecticut, he is the Cerebral Assassin, the King of Kings, TRIPLE H!

(Crowd gives a great cheer for HHH)

Fink:
Introducing lastly, he is the WWE Champion, weighing in at 254 pounds, from West Newbury Massachusetts, he is The Doctor of Thuganomics, The Champ, John CENA!!

(HUGE mixed reaction for Cena, but 70/30 positive once again)

DING! DING! DING!

RAW MAIN EVENT

WWE CHAMPIONSHIP

TRIPLE THREAT

JOHN CENA VS. RANDY ORTON VS. TRIPLE H

The Fink gets out of the ring as each of them stare each other, before John and Trips look at each other, before they look at Orton, but Randy quickly rolls out of the ring. John and Trips walk into the centre of the ring and lock up, as Trips backs Cena to the corner. Trips starts trading blows with Cena, but Cena throws H into the corner and starts pounding away at him, as Randy looks on from the outside. Cena then picks up Trips and nails him with a signature Fisherman Buster Suplex, and goes for a quick cover on H. Cena barely gets a one count as Randy looked as though he was going to intervene, but then he had other ideas.

Randy goes over to ringside and grabs a STEEL CHAIR, as Cena continues to work on HHH. Randy enters the ring with the chair, but Cena sees him and punches the chair into his face!! Cena goes back over to Orton and tries to lock in the STF-U, but Triple H ran over and broke it up before it was even locked in. Randy got up and H went to clothesline Orton, but he ducked and hit his sick inverted backbreaker! Cena gets up and charges at Orton, but Randy responds with a European Uppercut and a sickening chair shot to the forehead of John Cena!

Orton goes back over to Trips, and sends him shoulder first into the steel ring post! He places HHH on the second rope and hits a Second Rope Elevated DDT! Randy goes for the cover! 1....2...CENA BREAKS IT UP! Randy is furious and goes back to Cena, but is granted with a right hand from the WWE Champ, and then Randy turns around only to be met with a right from H, and then a right from Cena, and then from H again, and Randy is trapped as the crowd is loving this moment! Cena and Trips then sandwich the Legend Killer with a double clothesline!

Cena then quickly runs at Trips, but HHH hits his signature Arn Anderson Spinebuster, sending Cena crashing to the mat below! Cover by HHHJ, and this one may be over!

CENA KICKS OUT!

Triple H is furious, but he goes outside the ring and searches under the ring apron near the steel steps, as the crowd pops, as they know what Triple H is going to take out. THE SLEDGEHAMMER! H throws the sledgehammer into the ring, but when he goes into the ring, he is met with a huge chair shot from Randy Orton, who recovered from the double team earlier. Cena then gets up, and looks at Orton, who looks straight back at Cena, as they go over to H, who is getting up groggily from the chair shot. Cena and Orton go over to HHH, and deliver a double spike DDT! Cena is then hit with a huge clothesline from Orton, as Orton now goes to pick up the scraps, covering the motionless Triple H.

......1.....

........

....

......2......

CENA GETS UP AND HE BREAKS UP THE PINFALL!

Cena and Orton start duking it out, until Cena used his Superman strength to fend off Orton and nail a huge shoulder block, and then Cena started the 6 Moves of Doom. Another shoulder block, hip toss, Spin out powerbomb and the Five Knuckle Shuffle, and now getting ready for the deadly F-U! Cena gets Orton up for his signature finisher, but before he can drop Orton down, Triple H comes from seemingly out of nowhere and smashes the sledgehammer into the back of Cena’s knee!! Trips for some reason helps up his former protégé and former Evolution teammate Randy Orton, and then they pick up Cena and connect with a huge double flapjack to Cena, sending him crashing down to the mat face first with extreme force! Trips and Orton battle it out, but then Triple H connects with a huge face buster to Orton, knocking him down.

HHH then goes over to his sledgehammer, and looks at the two men that are down as they are both getting up gingerly. Randy gets up to his knees, but HHH CRACKS THE SLEDGEHAMMER ACROSS HIS BACK! Randy rolls around on the floor in pain, as Cena starts getting up. Trips charges at Cena with his sledgehammer, looking to smash his head in, but Cena drop toe holds him, and LOCKS IN THE STF-U IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RING!!!

Cena has locked in the STF-U tight, and Triple H has no chance what so ever of breaking it, as he is in the centre of the ring. Randy is still down on the mat, so he has no chance of breaking the submission either, and it looks like John Cena is going to retain his WWE Title for the third Wrestlemania in a row. When it looks like all hope is lost, Triple H has a sudden burst of energy, crawling his way to the ropes, in what looks like a repeat of Wrestlemania 22. HHH is now a metre away from the ropes, but it doesn’t look as though Triple H will make it to the ropes, as Cena applies extra pressure. The crowd start booing as Randy gets up, and has the demonic look in his eye. Randy THEN CONNECTS WITH HIS FOOTBALL KICK ONTO BOTH MEN WHILE THE STF-U WAS APPLIED!! Randy then gives his evil smirk, as he knows this one is over. Cover onto John Cena, and we have a new WWE Champion.

CENA’S FOOT IS UNDER THE ROPE!!!!! CENA SOMEHOW MANAGED TO PUT HIS FOOT UNDER THE ROPE! THIS MATCH WILL CONTINUE!!

Randy is absolutely mental, smashing everything in sight, and exposing one of the top turnbuckles. He stares at the referee, before getting one of the steel chairs he brought into the ring and set it up in the middle of the ring, so someone could sit on it. He gets Cena, and GOES FOR AN RKO ONTO THE SET UP CHAIR, but Cena reverses by pushing Orton into the exposed turnbuckle!!! Cena then lifts Orton up, and FU’S HIM OVER THE TOP ROPE!!!

Cena then goes over to Triple H, but HE IS UP AND SMASHES HIS SLEDGEHAMMER INTO CENA’S FACE, BUSTING THE WWE CHAMPION WIDE OPEN! Triple H then hits the Pedigree on John Cena, and goes for the cover!

WINNER AND NEW WWE CHAMPION: TRIPLE H!!!
The crowd are giving a godly pop, as Triple H has become a 12 time World Champion! Triple H is getting emotional in the ring, as HBK AND RIC FLAIR WALK DOWN TO THE RING, APPLAUDING TRIPLE H! The three men embrace, as HBK and HHH let off their D-Generation-X pyro, HHH with the World Championship, and HBK with the Money in the Bank Briefcase.

We go backstage with Bret Hart, who gets a god like cheer, as he is backstage with Anastasia, who says it’s an honour to be interviewing Bret. Bret then says it’s great to return and screw Vince, just like he did to him in 1997. He says unfortunately it was only a onetime thing, and that he wouldn’t be returning to the WWE again, as it would be a disgrace to work with Vince McMahon. Bret leaves the screen, as the crowd start up a ‘Bret’ chant, as he was on the WWE camera for the very last time.

‘Metalingus’ hits to massive heat, as Edge and his Army make their way down to the ring, with the Edgeheads with their Tag Team titles, and Chavo wheeling the former Smackdown General Manager Vickie Guerrero to the ring.

Cole:
Here comes the World Heavyweight Champion Edge and Tazz, it doesn’t look as though he has come alone, with the love of his life Vickie Guerrero, her nephew Chavo Guerrero, and the WWE Tag Team Champions making their way down to the ring accompanying Edge to the biggest match of his career!

Tazz:Of course he brought back up Cole. What did you expect the ‘Ultimate Opportunist’ to do? Heading into the biggest match of his career. Remember, he isn’t only defending his World Heavyweight Championship, he is defending his Wrestlemania streak, and also trying to end Undertaker’s Wrestlemania streak of 15 wins and 0 losses.

‘Graveyard Symphony’ plays around the arena to the second biggest pop of the night, only trailing to the pop of the one night only return of Bret Hart. Undertaker makes his usual very SLOW entrance, as the announcers praise The Undertaker.

Cole: There he is Tazz; arguably the greatest wrestler today is making his way to the ring, in The Undertaker!

Tazz: Absolutely Cole. Undertaker is the best wrestler in Wrestlemania history, and perhaps the best wrestler in WWE history. He is undefeated at Wrestlemania, and a multi time World Heavyweight and WWE champion. Anyway, stop the talking Cole the match is going to start!

Tony Chimmel: This match is scheduled for one fall and it is for the World Heavyweight Championship! Introducing first, from Death Valley, he is the Deadman, undefeated at Wrestlemania, and a multi time World Heavyweight Champion, The Undertaker!!!!

(Crowd pop massively for the Undertaker, who is staring down Edge)

Chimmel: Introducing lastly, the champion, from Toronto, Ontario Canada, he is the World Heavyweight Champion, the Ultimate Opportunist, the Rated R Superstar, Edge!!!!

(Crowd gives deafening heat for Edge, who does his pointer and pinkie finger pose)

DING DING!!!

WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

EDGE VS. THE UNDERTAKER

The match starts off with champion and his challenger locking up, with Edge bailing. They lock up again, with Edge whipping ‘Taker against the ropes, and Hawkins grabbing onto his leg, but the ref sees and starts telling them off, but Hawkins says he didn’t do anything, as Edge looks on from the inside. The ref then starts telling them off once again, and TELLS ALL OF EDGE’S ARMY TO LEAVE RINGSIDE TO THE DELIGHT OF THE CROWD! Edge runs his hands through his hair, as he has Undertaker all to himself, as Undertaker gives out a rare smirk.

Edge tries to run out of the ring, but Taker stops him and delivers a hard punch to Edge, followed by another three or four. Taker then connects with a clothesline to the Rated R Superstar, which knocks him down. Taker then bounces off the ropes when Edge gets up, and nails his running Tornado DDT onto Edge, as the crowd pop as Edge has gotten little to no offence in this match.

Taker then lifts Edge up, but Edge rakes Taker’s eyes, and starts pounding away at The Deadman. Edge then clotheslines Undertaker to the mat. Edge whips Undertaker into the corner and charges at Taker, and connects with a shoulder to the gut. Edge then mounts on the Undertaker, and does the ten punches, but at 7 punches, Taker hooks Edge’s legs and LOOKS FOR THE LAST RIDE EARLY, but Edge pounds at Taker’s head out of desperation, and leans forward and drops Taker down, like a seated senton, Rey Mysterio style.

Edge then gets Taker in a Single Leg Boston Crab, focusing on Taker’s lower back and his leg. Taker screams in agony, but after a good thirty seconds in the hold with the crowd egging the Deadman on, he managed to get to the ropes, as Edge released the hold and starts kicking away at the back of the Undertaker.

The ref tells Edge to stop, which he reluctantly does. Edge goes back over to Undertaker, and drops a knee across the spine of the Deadman. He then drags Taker back into the middle of the ring, and gets him in a Surfboard, stretching his back once again. Edge then let’s go, and picks Taker up and connects with a beautiful, picture perfect snap suplex. Edge goes for the first cover of the match.

......1......

........

....

......2......

Taker kicks out! Edge wasn’t too surprised, so he went straight back to Taker, mounting him and delivering 5 punches straight to the skull of the Undertaker. Edge gets off and starts posing to the crowd to huge heat, but Undertaker sits up, and the boos turn into cheers, as Edge looks confused, as he still had his back turned, it seemed that the crowd had had a change of heart. Edge turns around, and Taker puts his hand around his throat, and he stands up, but when he looks to hit the Chokeslam, Edge kicks him in the gut and grabs his pants and his shoulder and he shoves him into the steel post in the corner, shoulder first!

Edge then smirks once again, as he is once again in control of this match. He gets Taker up once again and whips him against the ropes, and hits a Northern Lights Suplex, and completes it with a bridge, which is counted as a pin as the Undertaker’s shoulders are down!

......1......

........

....

......2......

Taker rolls his shoulders off the mat! Edge then goes straight back over to the Undertaker, and looks TO HIT HIS OLD FINISHER THE DOWNWARD SPIRAL, but Taker keeps elbowing away at the head of Edge, so he breaks the hold. Edge charges right back at Taker, but Taker connects with a boot to the face of Edge, knocking both of them down!

Edge and Taker get up groggily, and trade punches, with whenever Edge punching, he got heat, but when the Undertaker punched Edge, he got a very loud pop. The end of the punching happened when Undertaker started using his brawling style, punching away at any part of the body of Edge that he could hit. He then forced the World Heavyweight Champion into the corner, but when it looked as though the Undertaker was about to take control of Edge, The Ultimate Opportunist raked the eyes of the Deadman, and then Edge connects with a huge spinning heel kick straight to the face of the Deadman.

Edge then LOCKS IN THE EDGECATOR ON THE UNDERTAKER, GOING FOR THE SUBMISSION VICTORY! Undertaker grimaces in pain, but when it looks as though Edge would be forced to break the hold by getting to the ropes, EDGE BRINGS UNDERTAKER BACK INTO THE MIDDLE OF THE RING AND LOCKS IN THE EDGECATOR ONCE AGAIN!!! Taker looks to be out of it, but he won’t tap as he doesn’t want his Wrestlemania streak to end like this.

Taker’s face is going red, but he doesn’t even contemplate tapping out, to the admiration of the WWE fans. After about 45 seconds in the hold, UNDERTAKER PASSES OUT! UNDERTAKER PASSES OUT FROM THE PAIN OF THE EDGECATOR!!! The ref sees this and runs over, and lifts the arm up of the Undertaker, and it falls down. The ref does it for the second time, and exactly the same thing happens. Edge applies extra pressure to the Undertaker, as this may finish the Undertaker, as the crowd is giving deafening heat!

The ref goes for one more time, but THE HAND OF THE UNDERTAKER STAYS UP!!! Edge is absolutely furious, as the Undertaker has some life left and he manages to crawl to the ropes, which forces Edge to break the hold!!! Edge is going ballistic, but he goes into the corner, and does the three point stance! SPEAR! NO! Taker has his hand around Edge’s throat for the second time in the match! CHOKESLAM FROM THE UNDERTAKER! WE HAVE A NEW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!!!

......1......

........

....

......2......

........

...EDGE KICKS OUT OF THE CHOKESLAM!

Taker doesn’t know what to do, as he Irish whips Edge into the corner. He then goes up to the second rope, and then goes up top. OLD SCHOOL FROM THE UNDERTAKER!!! Taker hit the old school on Edge, and now signals for the end, as he gets Edge in a Powerbomb position, perhaps going for the Last Ride for the second time in this match up! He gets Edge up, but he keeps pounding away at the head of the Undertaker like he did earlier in the match, and he hops down and toe kicks the Undertaker in the gut, and gets him in a front face lock! EDGE HITS THE EDGECUTION ONTO THE UNDERTAKER! UNDERTAKER IS BUSTED WIDE OPEN AND HE IS UNCONSCIOUS!!!

......1......

........

....

......2......

........

....

UNDERTAKER GETS HIS HAND ON THE ROPE! EDGE IS GOING BALLISTIC!

The crowd is popping huge for one of the greatest matches in recent memory. Edge then signals for the end, as he once again goes in the corner, as he waits for the Undertaker to get up. Taker gets up, albeit groggily, as Edge hits the Spear! SPEAR! SPEAR! SPEAR BY EDGE! THE STREAK IS OVER!!!

......1......

......

....

......2......

......

....

......3NO! TAKER KICKS OUT OF EDGE’S FINSIHING MANEUVER!!

Edge is infuriated, as the Undertaker has kicked out of the Spear. Edge doesn’t know what to do. He goes for the third time lucky, going for a Spear for the third time. Edge charges at the Undertaker, but TAKER MOVES AS EDGE HITS THE RING POST, AS THE UNDERTAKER GETS REVENGE FOR WHAT HAPPENED EARLIER ON IN THE MATCH UP! Undertaker then does his cut throat taunt, and rolls his eyes. Edge turns around, but he is scooped up immediately by the Undertaker! UNDERTAKER HITS THE TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER ONTO THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!!!

Undertaker does the Darkness cover, as it is almost impossible for Edge to kick out now!!

......1......

......3......!!

WE HAVE A NEW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION AS THE UNDERTAKER GOES TO 16-0 AT WRESTLEMANIA 24!!!!!!

WINNER AND NEW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION: THE UNDERTAKER!!!!

The crimson faced Deadman is handed his new World Heavyweight Championship, as Edge is still unconscious.

Cole: OH MY GOSH! WE HAVE A NEW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION! THE UNDERTAKER IS THE NEW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!!!

Tazz: What a night Cole! I can’t believe it! The Undertaker has gone to 16-0 right here!!!

They show the Undertaker strapping the World Heavyweight Championship around his waist, as he raises one arm up, with his other arm holding his ribs after the Spear from Edge earlier on during the match. Undertaker then goes onto one knee and does the eye thing while the World Title is strapped on his waist, similar to last year when he won the World Title against Batista, except he is crimson faced now. Edge starts to slowly move in the ring, as the ref helps him out.

Cole: THE UNDERTAKER IS THE NEW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!! WHAT A MATCH!! WHAT A MOMENT!! WHAT A NIGHT! WHAT A WRESTLEMANIA!

Thanks so far for the reviews, they are greatly appreciated. Anyways, here is the Raw Preview.

Raw Preview

Last night was Wrestlemania 24, and by God what a night it was, with new World Champions, champs retaining their beloved titles, and many more classic matches that will live for the ages. Tonight on Raw starts the Road to Wrestlemania 25!

Last night in the epic RAW Triple Threat Main Event, Triple H was crowned the new WWE Champion after he defeated Randy Orton and John Cena, after he pinned the FORMER WWE Champion John Cena after his patented Pedigree. Triple H will certainly talk about his win during the night, but what will he have to say?

Also last night, the Money in the Bank briefcase was brought back to Raw after Shawn Michaels won a gruelling Six Man Ladder Match, which also included Jeff Hardy, Umaga, Kane, CM Punk and Wrestlemania 23 winner, Mr. Kennedy (Kennedy!). HBK will be in action tonight against the loudmouth Elijah Burke.

What a scene it was last night, when BRET HART made his one night only return, as he cost Vince a victory to end Ric Flair’s career. It all seemed over as Vince locked Ric in the Sharpshooter and Earl Hebner came running to the ring, until Bret made the save, and called out Stone Cold Steve Austin to screw Vince out of the victory as Stone Cold rang the bell as soon as Ric locked in the Figure 4 Leg Lock, giving Flair a Screwjob victory. Bret then proceeded to lock in the Sharpshooter to Vince after the match, getting revenge for what happened in 1997. Tonight, Ric Flair will face off against his former protege Randy Orton, with his career once again on the line.

Also tonight, the Draft Lottery will return!!! RAW will gain its first pick from Smackdown, but no one has any idea of who it is.

All this and much more will happen on Monday Night Raw, so tune in on the USA Network to watch this historic episode of RAW!!

OK, so I haven't gotten much work on RAW so far, so hopefully be up by the end of next week at the very latest. This Raw will be in full, but from after this Raw, all my weekly shows will be in recap.

DAMN! I was up to the main event of RAW, until my comp stuffed up, everything was normal, except that RAW was missing! So I'll just go ahead and quickpost Raw right now, and all the Smackdown's and Raw's will now be in recap.

Monday Night Raw

DX come out, and say that they are back. They go on to talk about last night's Wrestlemania, until none other than John Cena came out, saying that he was going to cash in his rematch clause tonight!

Shawn Michaels defeated Elijah Burke in pretty much a squash match, although Burke did get in some offence. DX then celebrated in the ring, as Cena watched on from the back.

Joey Mercury of MNM defeats one half of the Tag Team Champions Mick Foley due to some dirty tactics from him and the rest of MNM. While the ref was distracted while Nitro was attacking The Rock on the outside and with Melina distracting the ref, Mercury nailed a low blow on Foley and hit the Hangman's Neckbreaker for the win in a long match, that went for about 15 minutes surprisingly. MNM now get a shot at the Tag Champs at Backlash.

Jericho cuts a promo on how he would be the next WWE Champion since JBL was out of the way, but it turned out that Bradshaw was just getting started. JBL then stated taht he was in cahoots with VKM, and that he had booked a Number 1 Contenders match for two weeks. But, there is a catch. It will be the number 1 contenders match for JBL for the WWE Championship, but for Jericho, it was for the Intercontinental Championship. JBL then says that if Jericho loses, he will never be any champion, again (stealing Jericho's catchphrase).

The next match was between Randy Orton and The Nature Boy Ric Flair, with Flair's career on the line. In what was a good match, with Flair kicking out of the RKO, the Nature Boy tripped Orton up when he was going for the Punt Kick, and locked in the Figure Four. Randy tapped out immediately. Flair then cut a promo after the match, saying how he will never retire. WOOOOOOOO!

Mickie James then competes in a non-title match against Victoria. After a good match, it looks as Victoria is going to hits the Widow's Peak, but Mickie slides over and gets her into a backslide pin for the three. Victoria is furious and starts to attack Mickie, until Candice Michelle runs down to the ring to save her friend. Beth Phoenix then joins Victoria up the ramp and smirk, when Victoria says that she was this close.

They show Shane McMahon in his office, until there is a knock on the door. He states for them to come in, and it must be the draft pick, but the camera doesn't show who it is. Shane's face lights up, as we cut back to he ring.

In what was a truly fantastic main event that went for about 20 minutes, Triple H prevailed against John Cena with a Pedigree off the top rope. During the match, Cena had kicked out of a Pedigree, and so did HHH when John Cena had hit the F-U. When the match was over, a masked man speared Shawn Michaels, and when HHH sawwhat had happened, the man went to the timekeepers table and picked up a steel chair. He smashed Triple H in the face with it, and it turns out to be Edge! Edge states that he is back on Raw, and he will face Triple H at Backlash, in TLC!!!!!

Friday Night Smackdown Preview

Last Sunday was Wrestlemania 24, and what a night it was, as Smackdown crowned new champions, champions retained, and Smackdown put on one hell of a show!!

The Undertaker is now the new World Heavyweight Champion, after defeating the new Raw superstar and former World Heavyweight Champion, Edge with his Tombstone Piledriver. What will happen next for Edge’s Army, since there leader has now gone over to Raw? But most importantly, what will happen for Smackdown, with The Undertaker as the Ruler of the Smackdown Kingdom once more???

Also last night, Matt Hardy won the United States Championship in his return match against his long time foe MVP in what was a hellacious, show-stealing I Quit match. The two had made their way up to the Wrestlemania 24 logo, where they fight, but when it looked as though Hardy would give MVP a Twist of Fate of the top, MVP quit! But Matt wasn’t done, as he remembered what MVP had done to him so he gave him a Twist of Fate off the top, and then nailing a 40 foot leg drop! We will have an update on the conditions of both men on Smackdown.

After using dirty tactics which they must have learned from their leader Edge, the Edgeheads successfully managed to retain their WWE Tag Team Titles against Rey Mysterio and Batista. Zack Ryder hit Batista with his title belt while the ref was distracted, and then nailed his Reverse DDT, which got his team the win.

Also, in what was a truly brutal hardcore match for the Hardcore Title, RVD managed to defeat ‘The Gold Standard’ Shelton Benjamin, after he delivered a brutal Van Daminator with a Barbed Wire Steel Chair which sent Benjamin through a flaming table. After the match, Benjamin offered a handshake, which Rob accepted, in a show of respect.

Lastly, Smackdown will gain its first draft pick from Raw. After Edge was traded to Raw, Smackdown may need a big superstar to cover the huge loss. Who will it be? We will find out on Smackdown!

Due to lack of time, I will now do my shows in a form very much similar to KF4E’s, who has given me his permission. Weekly shows will continue in this format, however PPV’s will be in full.

Plus, comments for Raw would be great, although it is in recap.

Okay. My comp is stuffed, so I am commenting on an other computer. Smackdown won't be up for a while, and hopefully I will be able to fix it soonish, so I can get back to work on SD, which fortunately I am half way through.
