Boy you must be outside your damn mind if you think STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN would come back to wrestle a match and lose. At WRESTLEMANIA.
I have no dog in this race, but ya, lol, at people saying Punk should beat Austin. That's fucking laughable

young 45 year old upstart Phil Brooks could really use the rub though, maybe they right

Hmm perhaps a finish where Punk realizes he's going to lose and lets himself get counted out then? I just feel like the best way to do this is including KO somehow.

I mean there's no need for the match at all. And win or lose it's still giving Punk a rub just by allowing the match to happen.

I just think the inclusion of KO would be best. He's using the stunner now, he was the last to face Austin. So his inclusion somehow way shape or form wouldn't minimize what they did last year. Perhaps a tag match

Austin and KO
vs
Punk and.... HHH who never tags in and bites punks arm before leaving I dunno

You want Punk and Austin to face off and have Punk get himself counted out :hhh4:

As much as I’d like to see it I don’t think Punk should win either. It’s Stone Cold at the biggest show of the year, he should win. I think even Punk himself knows that’s the case if the match were to happen.

I imagine it would just be like the KO situation where winning isn't important just because of who he's up against.

Meltzer Full quote:

As soon as that story came out, I heard from a bunch of people who were pretty close in, and they basically said that ‘we probably shouldn’t be worried about them doing that one,’ because it basically, you know it’s not anything that anyone’s talked about to any degree. I mean, it could happen, and it makes sense, but maybe you know.
As of right now, Austin hasn’t been approached. He’s not in. I’m not saying he won’t be and that is not their direction. I’m not saying that’s like some people thought the same thing you did. ‘Hey, maybe we could do it’…..I would just say it’s premature. I wouldn’t say it’s never going to happen (either).
A lot of the usual, maybe / maybe nots & not happening but could happen, ramble.
