It doesn't matter. He isn't really the boss and the win/loss thing is an angle. They could keep him losing for months without him going, Most of the fans wouldn't remember.
It does matter. If watching the show and the GM who is SUPPOSED to be in charge emphatically states a wrestler will be fired if they lose and then they don't get fired, the show loses all credibility. Wrestling is built on the predication that it's to bought at face value. Kayfabe if you will. I mean you can blow it off a week later but at least pretend for one week you're going to uphold your stipulations.
