There are currently no plans for WWE to bring RAW back to two hours each week. WWE officials like the extra money they're making each week and they are looking at more hours of TV and more rights fees each week. That's where WWE is focused on growing their business right now - not live events or pay-per-views but TV and rights fees.

Not huge news but thought it was worth a mention. RAW has been a three hour show since the 23rd of July 2012 which was the 1000th episode of RAW so it is closing in on one year with the new format.

When it was initially launched I had hoped that with the extra hour that WWE would spend more time promoting the midcard divisions to strengthen the show from top to bottom. That hasn't happened as the main focus has still been on the maineventers and for the most part the midcarders are an after thought.

Do you still enjoy RAW three hours each week or would you like to see WWE drop back to two?

Going back to two hours is probably the stupidest move they can do imo, especially if they still decide to keep Smackdown Superstars on RAW. I agree that they're not focusing on the midcard enough as they should, but honestly by knocking back the extra hour they would STILL focus on the main event, which would basically have the midcard become almost obsolete on RAW.

Now that being said, if they went back to two hours and had RAW only feature the RAW Superstars, then that would be a whole different story.

It's starting to become too much for me nowadays, which is why i'm never in the Live thread anymore. These days I just tend to watch the first hour Live then record the last two hours and skip over a bunch of it.

Why would usa ever give up such a high rated extra hour to sell sponsors and push their shows?

I'm used to the 3 hours by now, they're especially easy to watch on DVR if I miss them live.

As of late most of the 3 hour Raws have been pretty good. I'm not sure about the booking aspect of it but they have been giving matches more time throughout the shows to people that have earned it like Daniel Bryan and The Shield. Cutting it back would take away from these guys and they would probably have less chances to shine and be overshadowed by Cena and Punk with whoever they are feuding with at the moment.

The fact that anyone ever thought this was in question is pretty silly. I'm ok with it as long as its used properly past month and a half honestly didn't realize it was the third hour half the time. It's all a matter of use. And there was never a question of them reverting.

I get that people hate spoilers and love the 'live' aspect of it but I don't know how you guys bear watching 3 consecutive hrs of that shit.

I just read the report and catch bits that sound good on Youtube, I can watch Raw in like 15 mins that way. So I guess what I'm trying to say, is "big who cares".

I still remember when Raw was only an hour, before the War Zone.

I would still prefer that it was only an hour long, as that is one of the reasons I watch ROH & NXT more often than any other broadcast. But I still use Raw as background noise when playing a computer game, and 3 hours without having to interrupt my games and change the channel is pretty good.

Wasn't War Zone just the second half of Raw? It was still two hours, just the second hour was called War Zone.

He meant before War Zone was a thing and there was no second hour at all.

Ah, then I don't remember when Raw was 1 hour haha. The earliest my memory goes to is when Raw was two hours with the second hour being the War Zone.

Here recently though, I don't mind the 3 hours. Its been pretty watchable.

Raw was 1 hour for it's first four years. C'mon.
