Yeah, I really love the cast for DMD. Not so big on Halle's movie from the looks of it, and mainly becauase the concept just seems like it won't be very good.

Do you not remember 2003! Austin just came back from saying fuck the bookers and Rock was having his last run until the 2004 with the one-off with evolution. Plus i fully expect Rock to be on every Raw until Mania.

But they actually had a whole lot of history leading into the first two and they went for the last one because as you said both guys were pretty much leaving. This was Austin's last ever match so who else was he going to face? Completely different situations.
