WWE NXT TakeOver: Unstoppable Preview & Live Discussion - May 20th, 2015

It’s official! The next generation of Superstars and Divas are set to hijack the WWE Network with their high-octane brand of sports-entertainment on Wednesday, May 20, when NXT TakeOver: Unstoppable airs live at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT!


The last NXT live special, February’s TakeOver: Rival, featured a show-stealing epic between Neville and the enigmatic Finn Bálor, Sasha Banks capturing the NXT Women’s Championship, and Kevin Owens’ shocking NXT Title victory over Sami Zayn.

Kevin Owens (c) vs. Sami Zayn - NXT Championship Match

Tyler Breeze vs. Finn Balor vs. ???

Sasha Banks (c) vs. Becky Lynch - NXT Women's Championship Match

Blake & Murphy (c) vs. Enzo Amore & Big Cass - NXT Tag Team Championship Match

Baron Corbin vs. Rhyno

Bayley & Charlotte vs. Dana Brooke & Emma

Pretty big card so far, though I have to say I'm only really interested in the main event and the Breeze/Balor/??? match. In case you're wondering, Hideo Itami is out and there hasn't been an announced replacement so I'm not sure what's going to happen there. Regardless, Breeze is great and I'm sure he won't disappoint. Sucks for Itami though, I feel like this was going to be a big moment for him. Corbin vs. Rhyno has the hoss factor so that could be interesting and I'll never complain about watching good women's wrestling, so those two matches could both work out well.

I dunno what's weirder to me. Samoa f'n Joe turning up on WWE TV, or Samoa Joe turning up on WWE TV with HIS ACTUAL NAME. WITH ANNOUNCERS SELLING AS IF THE AUDIENCE KNOWS WHO THIS GUY IS ALREADY. DESPITE NEVER BEING A PART OF THE "UNIVERSE" BEFORE.

seeing Samoa Joe in wwe after 10 years in TNA is mind boggling but apparently he's signed a contract where he's allowed to take Indy bookings which I can't believe Vince agreed to since he seems to think wwe is the only company that exists. But SAMOA FREAKIN JOE IS IN WWE. AHHHHHHHH
