I've been intrigued going through the 2002 episodes. I'm not sure what it was referencing, but I read online that these matches were "punishments" from the company. A divas match would have a couple good spots or actually wrestle, and the next time they're on TV, they're doing something degrading.

Credit to Fit Finlay. He was huge in the women's revolution we've come to know today.

The girls have said that they would always be yelled at for "punching like men" and then when they told Fit he'd laugh and say "you just punch like people, keep doing it" lol

The WWE 24 on WM38 is out and it’s really good. One of the better 24 specials in awhile, the features on Becky, KO, Sami, and Pat are especially good.

A documentary on Kurt Angle is set to premiere September 2 on Peacock.

During Raw on Monday, it was announced that a documentary centered on Angle will premiere one week from Saturday the same day as WWE’s Payback premium live event.

The documentary, which was produced independently by Angle and director Alex Perry, was acquired by WWE last year. Originally set to focus on Kurt Angle’s amateur wrestling career, WWE has since made changes that also focuses on Angle’s WWE career. The commercial that aired during Raw also touched on Angle’s personal issues.

“The WWE bought the show from us, the documentary," Angle said on an episode of The Kurt Angle Show last summer. "They changed it up a little bit and made it a little more pro-wrestling oriented but we made a deal with them that this will air on Peacock.”

Angle has made sporadic appearances on WWE television since retiring in 2019, most recently appearing on Raw is XXX back in January.

In honor of Halloween WWE now has a new Best Of collection titled Horror Icons. While there are some good matches and segments including Undertaker defeating Hulk Hogan for the WWF Championship at Survivor Series, the Undertaker vs Mankind Buried Alive Match, and Bray Wyatt's in-ring debut against Kane in a Ring of Fire Match, there's plenty of awful shit in this collection. There's the Chamber of Horrors Match from WCW, the one where Abdullah the Butcher gets "electrocuted" in the torture chair, The Ultimate Warrior vs Brian Knobbs in a match from Superstars where Papa Shango comes out afterwards and "curses" Warrior, Piper's Pit with JBL in which The Boogeyman comes out and ends up eating the mole on Jillian Hall's face, The Miz vs Damien Priest in a Zombie Lumberjack Match and the WrestleMania 36 Firefly Funhouse segment with Bray Wyatt and John Cena. I'd say this is the worst "Best Of" collection there is.
