At least this makes up for PTP eliminating Cesaro and Kidd at Elimination Chamber...What the shit? PTP won the titles?

More than likely KO will be dropping the NXT Championship to Finn Balor on July 4th, so do you see KO winning the US title at Battleground? With the possible rematch at SummerSlam? A no contest could work as well, but would KO receive two title shots? And in a street fight? Depending on the booking it could get real interesting. Hopefully, KO comes up permanently and works a few non-Cena matches to establish his character outside of Cena.
My money is on Rollins. He doesn't need the Authority to retain the WWE World Hwt. Championship. Bank on it.
First of all, I'm not even completely sold on him losing the NXT Title to Balor unless he's legit not going to be on NXT any longer. With their schedule, it's totally feasible for him to remain champ down there and feud with Joe while feuding with Cena on the main roster as well. If they do the no decision at Battleground then a street fight makes sense for the blow off and would allow them to go outside of the ring, where their obvious chemistry will get even better. They can make the BG match for the title, but their feud isn't about that in the first place anyways. Owens doesn't value the U.S. Title at all and the only reason he took it tonight was to be a dick.

With how tonight has gone, it's entirely possible and now you've made me picture it.There's no way they have Ambrose win and Sheamus cash in on him, right?

I can't forsee Owens remaining in NXT past July. Cena clearly said Owens belongs in the WWE ring. I believe that was the WWE way of saying get used to this face.
I know it didn't start out that way, but if Owens can take it from Cena, he wants it. Plus, he does in fact lose the NXT title, it'll be a fantastic transition to see him actually take the US title from Cena. Think about juxtaposition of Cena doing the open challenges for months, only to lose the belt to the first guy who turned down the challenge in the first place.
Yeah, chemistry was a little off tonight, but damn if a no dq match couldn't up the ante in every way. Interestingly enough, they both thrive in that environment. I'm drooling.
I think we're all a little selfish there. We'll get some Joe on KO before he goes. Plus, Joe isn't staying in NXT long either. If Owens leaves NXT then that's fine as well and the transition would make sense. I just want Owens/Joe for awhile so I'm being selfish.

I love how he made it his own to boot. The elbow into clothesline is a fantastic twist on it.Nice tribute to Dusty by Ambrose there.
