The opening contest saw Cesaro and Sheamus aka The Bar, taking on the duo of Enzo Amore and Big Cass. Which came to its conclusion after Sheamus laid waste to Amore with the Brogue Kick.

A split screen showed the trio of Becky Lynch, Emma and Naomi. Preparing for their N1C triple threat match later on tonight.

Number One Contender – WWE US Championship
Braun Strowman VS Jinder Mahal VS Sami Zayn
Next up the “Monster Among Men” Braun Strowman faced of with both Jinder Mahal and Sami Zayn. In the first of two Number One Contender triple threat matches. This time around the winner of the match whoever that ended up being, would be next in line for a shot at the United States Championship. Strowman dominated his two opponents in the early goings of the match however this wouldn’t work out in the long term.
As Mahal and Zayn worked together to get him out of the ring, and then fight amongst themselves. With Zayn coming out top by grabbing Mahal and throwing him into one of the corners and then backed up. However, Strowman made his presence known by getting back in the ring, only for Zayn to grab him and send him into Mahal. Zayn then hit a Helluva Kick on Strowman for pin as Mahal fell to the mat.

Goldberg was walking backstage when he was set upon by both Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens. Y2KO ended the assault by beating their target down and then placing a steel chair around his right ankle and stamping on it. They cleared out of the scene while refs and security checked on Goldberg.

Becky Lynch VS Emma VS Naomi
In the third match the second of two triple threat matches to take place. This time around to determine the next woman to challenge for the WWE RAW Women’s Championship. It featured three women who were looking to make a name for themselves.
After each of the three of them were drafted to Monday Night RAW. When it was all said and done, only one woman could walk out victorious. It would be Lynch who trapped Emma in the Dis-Arm-Her for the submission.

Goldberg was being checked out by a doctor, who revealed that he would be out. For at the very least a couple of weeks just to play it safe.

After that the “Samoan Submission Machine” Samoa Joe© put the WWE United States Championship. On the line against a huge opponent in the form of Luke Harper. It was quite clear that the defending champion had a long night ahead for him. If he wanted to walk away with the gold. In the end Joe managed to get Harper up for and successfully hit the Muscle Buster for the pin.

A video package hyped up the co-branded Money in the Bank pay per view event. Which would take place on the 18th of June in St Louis Missouri.

The defending champion aka Flair who had appeared as overconfident as possible on her way to the ring. Changed after the appearance of the woman who was answering the open challenge. The challenger aka Banks put up a decent effort so much so that it sent Flair running for the hills.

In the penultimate match the Hardy Boyz© retained the WWE RAW Tag Team Championship. Against the former champions, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows aka the Good Brothers. Despite a good showing from the duo of Anderson and Gallows they failed to reclaim the gold. After Matt Hardy grabbed Gallows then tagged in his brother as Jeff climbs up to the top rope.
He attempted and hit the Side Effect flooring the big man then knocked Anderson off the apron. From here Jeff launched himself off the top rope with the Swanton Bomb for the pin.

SETH ROLLINS + ROMAN REIGNS HISTORY VIDEO
Just prior to the main event a video package recapped the history between Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns.

Finally, the show closed out with a one-on-one men’s division match for the WWE Universal Championship. Featuring two men who have a very complex history, first being as close as brothers, then turned to enemies. In the forms of the current reigning and defending champion Seth Rollins© and the number one contender Roman Reigns.
As can be expected as a direct result of the talents of both men involved. The main event was an instant classic from start to the middle to the conclusion. It concluded with Reigns attempting a Spear only for Rollins to move out of the way which resulted in the former crashing into one of the corners of the ring.
Then Rollins dragged him out of the corner and then sends him right back into it with a Buckle Bomb. Finally, Rollins attempted and hit back-to-back Curb Stomps for the win.

POST-MATCH
As Rollins was celebrating, he was blindsided by both members of Y2KO. Who proceeded to beat him down and did the same to Reigns after he tried to even the odds.
The ppv went off the air with Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens putting Rollins through the announce table. With a move that the fallen champion knew all too well a two man variation of the Shield Powerbomb.
