You're not going to get far in life acting like a condescending know-it-all twat, Vips. I'm glad that once again you managed to ignore the point that, at a time, all wrestlers reflected an image far from what they turned into. Think about the rough true born Dustin Rhodes turning into Goldust, or the cocky bleach blonde Stunning Steve turning into Stone Cold, or of course the French aristocrat Jean Paul Levesque becoming the Cerebral Assassin, Triple H. None of them could have been pictured in the roles they grew into until it happened, so you can't tell me Owen Hart couldn't have been effective as "The Game". He was already used to outgrappling all of his opponents and could be one of the cockiest guys around at times, so if they put a weapon in his hand and one or two associates at his side, I think they could have turned him into a threatening entity. I actually thought his whole Nation of Domination attire and attitude were pretty effective in making him look more dangerous than usual, and that was without really trying to make him look especially mean.
If you ask me, it would have been effective. Obviously Triple H IS the better fit. That I won't deny. But I don't think the idea would have been a bust by any means.
