I'd take Smoky Mountain Wrestling over ECW most days.

Smoky Mountain had more crackheads on their roster than ECW in their prime.

Cornette is far from balanced.....he makes a living out of burying everyone in the business he is asked about.

Not what I meant by balance, what I meant is that without someone to stir the pot then this might come across as just another love letter. There are two sides to every stories. I like Heyman as a perfomer, but for I know he might be a complete tosspot. Thats a British term BTW lol.

How is bringing in someone fair and balanced if his whole reason for being there is to stir shit up? Yeah, there are two sides to every story, but if that other story is just prefabricated or just there for negativity, what use is that other story? Would be like having a climate scientist debate a climate change skeptic. It's not exactly fair and balanced when one side just doesn't know what it's talking about.

Well its your opinion that Cornette is unbalanced. I agree that he goes over the top sometimes, but then that is part of his charm. He still gives people credit when he feels its due. He has never said that Paul E. is not talented, just that he is a crooked business man, who explictes people unfairly, and that he does not care for the brand of wrestling he promoted in ECW, and frankly he is not the only one to say that. They could always have edited his secton on the DVD to keep it within context. Cornette is one of the most engaging talking heads you can have.

It's not just an opinion on Cornette being unbalanced and two-faced when you have literally hours of shoot videos and his podcast to back up that statement.

Also is hypocritical of him to call anyone a crooked businessman when he himself was as shifty as anyone in the business....that's what promoters are. Let's not pretend that Cornette didn't do anything that Heyman did when he ran Smoky Mountain....he bailed on his crew to work for WWF also, left a bunch of people in the dark and still owes them money.

And editing out most of his shit would leave what? like thirty seconds of him? No point and a terrible argument to even make on Heymans documentary.....It's fine without him and never needed his opinion, because what new would Cornette even say? ECW killed the business....Heyman was a liar....Paul would rather stand on a tree and lie than look you in the face and tell you the truth.............Already said them on shoot interviews.

You guys need to be jumping on that Heyman DVD if you haven't seen it already. Thought it was a great watch although unless i'm totally having a brainfart moment, it isn't anywhere near as controversial or w/e the way it's sort of marketed in the trailers.
