Nice cover with a good color but it seems a tad basic but that's good for an old school DVD. The image used looks weird as it looks like Sting isn't even applying any pressure. (assuming it is Sting)

WWEDVDNews.com can exclusively reveal that WWE have changed their plans for the new ECW DVD, set for release on June 5th. The theme of the release will no longer be the 25 greatest matches in ECW History, but instead focused on unreleased matches from the ECW archive.
We have also learned that as was the case with the Very Best of WCW Nitro DVD, the new ECW DVD and Blu-ray is planned to be the first volume in an ongoing series. Of course, that will depend on how well the first title performs in sales.

This news is fully confirmed. Stayed tune for another update.

Not sure how I feel about this change. It will be missing some big matches but then again it won't double up matches that have previously been on other DVD releases.

Was looking forward to the 25 match countdown. Unreleased doesn't mean much to me because I've probably seen them anyway, having 25 great matches on one disc would have been better.

Why are those match from The Night the Line was Crossed only on Blu Ray? That's pretty weak considering it was only one of the most important nights in ECW history. Guess I'll have to buy the friggin Blu Ray now.

It would be WWE's way to get more people to spend the extra few dollars to get Bluray. They need to save some extra matches to make the extra cost worthwhile but it is a bit of a shame that these were the matches that were chosen since as you said they are important matches.

We can now confirm and release the WWE WrestleMania 28 DVD and Blu-ray cover artwork.

As you can see, WWE are sticking with the design revealed in the event program, though some elements such as the spine’s artwork have been updated.

Also noteworthy, this years release will not be referred to as “Collector’s Edition”.

Pretty nice.
