Attitude Era was "adult oriented" technically, but the same way I thought Family Guy was an adult show when I was like 12 and then stopped thinking it was that funny by the time I was 16 or 17

Just gonna ignore you two now on this topic. Attitude era is pretty much better than this era, otherwise WWE wouldn't feel like they have to use the clutch of it to save their asses from the shit quality they been producing for years. I guess if you don't like it go watch TNA or something. But, you guys have no legs to stand on.

I won't really talk shit about much to do with the Attitude Era tho bc I still think 98-2000 (especially 2000) was the most entertaining product by WWE even if a lot of the matches sucked and it was Austin/Rock carrying a lot of it with other guys playing decent parts as well. The PPVs were pretty shitty up until 2000, but Raw was awesome and I think those ratings are very deserving, but I just don't really rate ratings too high personally when compared to my own entertainment so I kinda treat this thread as two questions:

Should they bring back the Attitude Era (or just edgier programming) from a business stand point?
Do I want them to?

And the answer both are a solid...maybe lmao I mean I'm gonna watch no matter what and I won't say I haven't been entertained a ton by the product since they went PG bc that would be a lie. Business seems to be down because of ratings though (think overall revenues is a better gauge nowadays tho bc ratings are down across the board everywhere...at least compare it to other things on TV and Raw and SmackDown are usually in the same rankings for their respective nights as they've been for years). So yeah I'm just like whatever, go for it if they want and I'll judge if I'm entertained and then someone else can tell me on here if ratings are up or not bc I've never really cared about them

If you hate the attitude era so much then why did you watch wrestling? If you think that cursing up a storm and talking about sex isn't adult oriented then idk what is. Wrestling will never be realistic because it's wrestling but the wrestlers of that era acted more along the lines of how people actually act. Men are gonna curse and be violent and be horn dogs. That's the way they are.

Like do you know how hard it is to make me think something I think was the best is overrated? and somehow wrestling fans do that
