I wouldn't be made at that. It’s a good way to sell tickets. I wouldn’t keep him as the last announced member; I’d advertise him and let LA Knight be the final member on the go home Smackdown

Wouldn't be upset by it but nah they'll probably pick teams. Hope that they put a stipulation to the winning team (winning brand gets #30 in the Rumble or something).

The cool thing about Aldis is this is the first time since Bryan where there’s been an authority figure that can go in the ring.

I know Pearce is a wrestler but I don’t think he has an inkling or desire to get back in the ring. Aldis probably does.

So he can be the babyface authority that gets into it with someone like KO(should they decide to turn him heel again) and it’s like you know what “I’ll deal with you myself.”

Because he can brag that he’s been World Champion pretty much everywhere he’s been before coming to WWE.

I'm confused here. Why is Survivor Series considered a "Big 4" PPV? Just cause it's old doesn't mean it's a Big 4 anymore. Even when it launched it wasn't like there was a big title defense. Hogan would be in one of the 5v5 matches.

The "Big" shows are Mania, SummerSlam, Royal Rumble, SaudiManias, and MAYBE Money In The Bank. 25 years ago Survivor Series was a big deal but it hasn't been for at least 15 years.

its always historically been rumble, mania, summerslam and survivors for a very, very long time. I don't think people's perception are ever going to change on that, certainly not for Saudi shows of all things.

you can call it their franchise shows if you want but I don't think there is much more to ppl saying that

Additionally I think a lot of the Big 4 perception comes from the fact that whenever there have been periods of brand exclusive PPVs, Survivor Series has always been one of the dual-branded ones.

also Survivors was one of their best shows last year and HHH hyped it up massively bringing back war games last year so I would disagree that it has been unimportant recently

I agree with you that's what fans think, because those were the first 4 PPV/PLEs. What I'm saying is that the show has revolved around the meaningless 5v5 matches and as such Survivor Series as a whole has never really been important. Rumble had Mania implications. Mania's Mania. SummerSlam was feud-enders and pretty much a Mania during the Summer. Survivor Series was always just.... there. When there were 2 PPVs it was #2. When there were 3 it was #3. When there were 4 it was #4. King Or the Ring past it when that was a thing.

And the "Big" shows I'm referencing all were stadium shows (aside form MitB which they tried and failed to put in a stadium). If they can't put it in a stadium it shouldn't be considered a big show. Don't think they'd be able to put Survivor Series in a Stadium. Even with War Games.

Survivors is probably their fourth on the list of the big four so some years they forget to make it feel important, but I would agree that there’s never been any consistent lengthy period of time where it wasn’t considered a big four.
