Variety reports that WWE and Yahoo have announced a new partnership that will see a 30-minute RAW pre-show begin airing on Yahoo's website soon.

Yahoo also will have exclusive access to WWE's archives, TV shows, highlights and other events, as well as pre-show pay-per-view previews.
Three hours is hard enough to watch as it is, damn sure won't be watching this on a regular basis. Might catch the first one just to see how they do with it.

I find it hard to imagine this being anything more than the playground for Santino, Hornswoggle, etc.

But Jeez, 3 and a half hours is going to be hard to fill every week. Running the writers into the ground.

Won't have a problem with it if its just the announcers talking in a semi studio like setting

Don't have DVR? After fast forwarding commercials, it's about 2 hours 15 min. That makes it a bit easier. Plus, I can pause for breaks and everything.

Watching it on DVR is so much easier, but I like watching it live so I can be in the thread, so I get through it...barely.

Didn't realize this was 2002 and Yahoo was s still a thing. WWE always late to the parties, probably start up a WWE podcast network in a few months too.

Don't get why WWE didn't just stick this on youtube like they do their PPV preshows.

Money? They got YouTube deals honored already, same with Hulu, so why not Yahoo? Just more money and a fallback for if YouTube and them ever get Ina pissing match

I always get a 15-minute pre-show because I watch Raw on The Score in Quebec. And it sucks because it delays Raw 15 minutes from the rest of the world and it actually starts at 8:15pm here instead of 8:00pm. That's why I can't participate in the Live Discussion most of the time because you guys are all 15 minutes ahead of me. It sucks. There's also a short post-show afterwards, which is kind of cool sometimes, but that pre-show needs to go.

Beginning this summer, Yahoo will become the premier global video distribution partner for WWE. Yahoo's website will feature a dedicated WWE hub for all their content that will be available globally:

* A 30-minute RAW pre-show every Monday night

* Two weekly series of original programming, 50 episodes per year

* Exclusive access to WWE archives of historic full matches, shows, highlights and other events

* Additional pre-show content for WWE pay-per-views

* Clips from current WWE TV shows
I might check some of these stuff out although I hope there's not as many restrictions on them like there is on the YT channel because it's fucking annoying seeing something you want to watch and it not being able to watch in the UK.

Usually, I'm an advocate for more wrestling but I can't even condone this. You don't need a pre-show for a weekly 3 hour show.

Bad idea, already more than enough hours a week of WWE programming.

It seriously baffles the fuck out of me, when people think they are obligated to watch every bit of wrestling out there. Unless you are getting paid to cover it, there is just no reason outside of being a loser with no life or just plain crazy to watch every bit of wrestling. Go outside, smell the fresh air, talk to a girl.

There is no obligation to watch everything. There just isn't enough hours in the day, especially if you are not getting paid for it.
