I should be annoyed WWE cut two of my boys but they will be far better off in AEW tbh. How can you not push Andrade and Black to the top I don't know?

Another match has been added to the Super Showdown pre-show. The Iiconics have issued an open challenge to any tag team in WWE and will face them in their home country of Australia in a tag team match. Who will take up the challenge remains to be seen but The Iiconics will be desperate to win in their home country this Sunday.

After the usual pre-show panel stuff and hype videos happen, we cut to the New Day's locker room. We can see both Big E and Kofi Kingston sat down on the bench looking serious before looking at each other and smiling.

Kofi Kingston: A big night for you E

Big E: And for you.

Kofi nods.

Kofi Kingston: Both of us could walk out of tonight as two-time champions.

Big E shakes his head.

Big E: No we will walk out as two-time champions tonight.

Xavier Woods walks into the shot smiling as he approaches his two best friends.

Xavier Woods: He's right. Tonight, you will become a two-time W W E Champion.

Woods does the full hip-swaying motion which pops Kofi whilst Woods turns to Big E.

Xavier Woods: And Big E will become a two-time In-ter-cont-in-ental Champion.

Big E: I don't think it works quite as well Woods.

Xavier Woods: You're right. I think I need to go on TikTok and work on my twerking.

Big E and Kofi smile as Woods sits next to them.

Xavier Woods: But guys, tonight is the night the New Day show the world that we aren't just tag team specialists. No, we remind everyone that you are two of the best wrestlers in the business as you walk out tonight holding the gold high.

Kofi and Big E nod agreeing with Woods as Big E gets to his feet.

Big E: Six years. It's been just over six years since I held the Intercontinental title.

Big E smiles as reminisces on his days as Intercontinental Champion.

Big E: And I ain't waiting another six years to get my hands on the title again. I'm going to walk into that ladder match and I'm going to lay everyone out in my path. I'm going put them through ladders, I'm going to power my way to the top and I will be Intercontinental Champion once again.

Kofi now gets up as he shares a hug with one of his best friends before he looks to speak to his closest allies.

Kofi Kingston: Thanks to you two. I'm still here. Without you, there would be no Kofimania. I wouldn't be WWE Champion. And I wouldn't be here right now with the chance to win it back.

Woods smiles and Big E nods as Kofi carries on.

Kofi Kingston: And tonight, will be Kofimania night two!

Xavier Woods: Everyone knows the sequel is better than the original.

Big E: He's right man.

Kofi smiles.

Kofi Kingston: Exactly and tonight I will be WWE Champion one more time.

All three members of the New Day share a hug before we cut elsewhere for a few more segments on the pre-show.

We then cut to the ring for the first match of the show as the crowd let out a massive pop as the Aussie duo The Iiconics make their way out to the ring. The crowd goes wild as the popular duo make their way out. Both have microphones in their hands as they walk to the ring and climb inside. They get ready to speak but the live crowd let out a massive “You're Iconic” chant which brings massive smiles to their faces before they finally speak.

Peyton Royce: I just want to say, being able to appear in front of the most iconic fans in the world, it is a dream come true.

Cheap pop but Peyton means it as she smiles and lets Billie speak for a moment.

Billie Kay: Australia is the most iconic country in the whole world!

Another massive cheap pop as the pair lay praise upon their home country.

Peyton Royce: Which produced the most iconic tag team in WWE history.

Billie Kay: The Iiconics!

They are really feeling themselves tonight and who can blame them.

Peyton Royce: However before we beat whichever team makes the mistake of challenging us, we have a huge announcement.

Billie Kay: The biggest announcement.

Peyton Royce: An announcement for the ages.

Billie Kay: A truly iconic announcement!

Peyton Royce: We... no you say it Billie.

Billie Kay: We... no Peyton we need to say it together.

The crowd are still into the goofy antics from the pair as they carry on to tease us.

Both: We are entering the Royal Rumble!

A loud pop from the crowd as two more women make their intentions for the Rumble clear. Both women look to carry on until...

Loud boos from the crowd as The Iiconics are interrupted and we soon see who it is for the people who are unfamiliar with NXT in this universe: CHELSEA GREEN AND ALIYAH joined by their manager Robert Stone of the famous Robert Stone brand. Robert Stone has a microphone in hand as he looks to speak as they walk to the ring.

Robert Stone: OK that's quite enough of that. I know the morons in the crowd here love you...

Loud boos for the dig but Stone ignores them.

Robert Stone: These two women are truly an iconic brand and when they beat you tonight, not only will they be one step closer to a shot at the Women's tag team titles. The commissioner of the Raw and Smackdown will so desperate to sign my clients they will also get spots in the Royal Rumble!

Robert drops the microphone as the two members of the brand climb into the ring. Peyton Royce starts for the Iiconics and Chelsea Green starts for the Robert Stone brand.

Open challenge: The Iiconics vs Chelsea Green and Aliyah w/Robert Stone​

Match summary: The Robert Stone brand stays in control and works over Peyton Royce most of the match as they build to the hot tag. Eventually, Peyton Royce fights the Robert Stone brand off and makes her way to the corner as she tags in Billie Kay! The Iiconics go wild and take down the Robert Stone Brand members to the delight of the crowd and in the end, hits Aliyah with the SICK KNEE FROM SYDNEY (Running one-handed bulldog from Peyton onto Kay's kneeling knee. Billie Kay makes the cover as Peyton takes care of Chelsea Green and The Iiconics pick up the win.

Winners via pinfall: The Iiconics (6:28)​

After the match finishes The Iiconics pose for the live crowd and soak in the cheers from the fans whilst The Robert Stone Brand retreat up the ramp looking furious that they have come up short tonight.

We then cut to the backstage area after a few more pre-show segments and we see Kayla Braxton is stood by the entrance to the building. We see the door open and the crowd loudly boo as ROMAN REIGNS walks into the arena with some carrying his bags for him.

Kayla Braxton: Roman can I get a few wor...

Roman completely ignores her and heads off elsewhere backstage leaving Kayla looking annoyed and confused.

Kayla Braxton: I guess not.

We then get a few more pre-show panel segments before cutting to the final match on the pre-show.

Otis Dozovic vs Erick Rowan​

Match summary: This match ends up being a hoss fight. Commentary mentions that with Daniel Bryan competing in the opening match for the Intercontinental title he is backstage getting ready for that match. In this match however, Rowan tries to show he doesn't need Bryan and takes control, pummelling Otis with several hard strikes and a few big boots. Otis though fights back and shows off some of his power as he tosses the fairly large Erick Rowan around the ring. Rowan clearly is annoyed by this but there is not much he can do as Otis starts to take control of the match and looks like he might be about to win until ROWAN RAKES THE EYES!

Erick gets a warning from the referee about his actions but he doesn't care as he uses the opening he created with the eye rake to start beating down on Otis and even locks the larger man in a bearhug as he grinds Otis down and tries to force a tap out. Otis though starts to elbow Rowan in the head sending him backward. Rowan and Otis then both turn around and charge into each other knocking each other down with a DOUBLE CLOTHESLINE!

Both men stay down for a little while on the floor selling the impact but they rise to their feet at the same time and exchange strikes as they battle for control. In the end, Rowan grabs Otis as looks for the FULL NELSON SLAM! Otis once again fights back and gets free before taking him down with an EXPLODER SUPLEX! Otis then signals to the crowd and hits the CATERPILLAR ELBOW DROP! Otis gets back to his feet as he roars to the delight of the crowd. Erick Rowan struggles to his feet as Otis hoists him up and plants him with THE EXCAVATOR! Otis makes the cover and picks up a big win!

Winner via pinfall: Otis Dozovic (9:08)​

A pretty decent pop from the live crowd as Otis gets to his feet and celebrates a big singles win tonight. The crowd gets even louder as Otis even does a little dance to the delight of the crowd before we cut elsewhere for other segments on the pre-show.

The final segment of the pre-show sees Wade Barrett stood in the ring with a microphone. In his other hand, he holds the Intercontinental title to the delight of the live crowd. We see a few backstage personnel stood behind Wade Barrett as the Smackdown commissioner gets ready to address the live crowd.

Wade Barrett: Tonight, we will see six men take part in a match that I took part in a few years ago at Wrestlemania thirty-one. They will look to climb the ladder to win this title.

He lifts it into the air showing it off to the live crowd before he passes it to the backstage personnel.

Wade Barrett: And as a five-time Intercontinental Champion in my day, I know how much winning that title means. So I want to make sure the best man wins.

Cheers from the crowd as in the background we see the Intercontinental title raised into the air high above the ring.

Wade Barrett: So to make sure we find out the best man out of the six men fighting for this title, anyone not in the match who gets involved I'm afraid I've got some bad news.

The catchphrase gets a cheap pop from the live crowd.

Wade Barrett: Anyone who gets involved in the match who is not in the match will be fired on the spot!

A massive pop from the live crowd as we then cut to Daniel Bryan and Shelton Benjamin watching backstage who both look furious with this announcement.

Wade Barrett: Tonight we will crown a new Intercontinental Champion and that match will kick off the main card!

A massive pop as Barrett leaves the ring and the commentary team hype up the fact the Intercontinental title ladder match will be starting off the show. The pre-show comes to an end with the pre-show panel hyping up the main show and lastly the Intercontinental title ladder match.

Byron Saxton: It's Sunday night and you know what that means. Welcome to Super Showdown taking place in Melbourne, Australia!

Corey Graves: And for anyone who missed the pre-show, we will be starting off tonight with a bang as we crown a new Intercontinental Champion!

A decent pop from the live crowd as the One and Only Ricochet starts to make his way out. He poses for the live crowd at the top of the entrance ramp as he points towards the sky before sprinting down the entrance ramp.

Byron Saxton: No one on the planet can do what Ricochet can between those ropes. The heights he can soar to are insane.

Corey Graves: And imagine what he can do from the top of a ladder Byron. We saw a taste of it in the Money in the Bank ladder match earlier this year.

Byron Saxton: Ever since then Ricochet has impressed the WWE universe with his athleticism. He shocked the world by defeating Daniel Bryan at Summerslam and came close to defeating Roman Reigns for the WWE title.

Corey Graves: Well as someone who watched Ricochet in NXT he will desperate to be champion again like his NXT days as North American Champion.

Boos ring out from the live crowd as Shelton Benjamin slowly makes his way out as Cedric Alexander wishes him good luck. He still looks angry after Wade Barrett's announcement earlier in the show but he makes his way to the ring, determined to become a four-time Intercontinental Champion.

Byron Saxton: Shelton Benjamin has formed an alliance as such with Cedric Alexander but there will be no help from him tonight.

Corey Graves: Shelton is a veteran of the business and will have a backup plan Byron. He has more experience than anyone in that ring and knows what to do. He said it himself.

Byron Saxton: But a lot of that experience comes from defeats in these kind of matches.

Corey Graves: Every loss is a lesson Byron and Shelton has learned from each one.

A fair few cheers from the crowd as Pete Dunne makes his way out. He stands at the top of the entrance ramp as he mean-mugs the camera. He has his typical scowl as he glares at the fans before walking to the ring. As he climbs over the ropes, he glares at his opponent in tonight's ladder match. Both men stare at Dunne, with Ricochet especially being very familiar with him from their time in NXT.

Byron Saxton: Pete Dunne lost the Intercontinental title a few months ago when he took on Luke Harper. Tonight he has the chance to win the title back.

Corey Graves: And Dunne knows what it takes to make it as a champion in WWE. He held the NXT UK title for six-hundred-and-eighty-five days.

Byron Saxton: And we know he has no problem breaking everyone's fingers if it means he wins this match.

Corey Graves: Dunne is ruthless and everyone in this match needs to be protecting their fingers.

A confused reaction at first until Big E walks out, joined on the entrance ramp by his New Day allies. They fist bump Big E before leaving him alone as he looks at the fans and soaks in his new music. He then walks to the ring after slapping hands with a few kids in the front row.

Byron Saxton: A lot of people forget that Big E is a former Intercontinental Champion and held that title for just over six months when he first appeared on Smackdown.

Corey Graves: That's because Big E has spent too long focusing on the rest of The New Day. If Big E focused on himself and just himself, he would already be a multi-time Intercontinental Champion at the very least.

Byron Saxton: Big E doesn't see it that way.

Corey Graves: Maybe he doesn't but why was he focused on Kofi's moment instead of getting his moment last year? Big E has what it takes to make it to the top but he keeps holding himself back.

A massive mixed reaction from the live crowd as Daniel Bryan makes his way out. Erick Rowan stands behind him, looking a little worse for wear as he holds the planet's title in the air behind Bryan before leaving his leader alone. Bryan walks down the ramp and climbs in the ring as he talks trash to everyone.

Byron Saxton: Well I'm sure Bryan will not be happy at the way he had to get to the arena tonight.

Corey Graves: Bryan shouldn't have had to wrestle on Smackdown. If he got the night off he could have gotten here via boat instead of needing to use a plane.

Byron Saxton: Maybe he could have stayed at home instead.

Corey Graves: And miss out on bringing glory back to the Intercontinental title? The last time Bryan won the Intercontinental title, it was in a match just like this at Wrestlemania thirty-one.

And last but certainly not least, getting the biggest pop out of anyone so far Buddy Murphy makes his way out. He has a confident smile on his face as he sticks his arms out and enjoys the reception from the Aussie crowd. He even makes sure to make his way towards the camera and says “They know the secret!”. He taps his head and smirks once again as he walks to down the ramp, soaking it all in.

Byron Saxton: Would you listen to that ovation from the live crowd?

Corey Graves: As Murphy said, the secret is out!

Byron Saxton: But can lightning strike twice?

Corey Graves: He's won a title in Australia before and I think he can do it again Byron.

Buddy Murphy climbs over the ropes, still getting a great pop from the crowd. Once in the ring though Daniel Bryan gets in his face. Daniel Bryan mocks the Aussie crowd and Murphy responds with a punch to the jaw getting this match off with a bang!

Intercontinental title ladder match: Pete Dunne vs Ricochet vs Daniel Bryan vs Big E vs Buddy Murphy vs Shelton Benjamin​

Murphy lays into Daniel Bryan whilst the rest pair off as Ricochet and Pete Dunne battle each other. Shelton goes after Big E but is soon overwhelmed by the power of Big E as he gets tossed from the ring! Ricochet meanwhile goes for a kick but Dunne catches with a forearm sending him from the ring to the outside. Murphy disposes of Daniel Bryan who rolls to the outside as we see Dunne, Murphy, and Big E alone in the ring. Dunne and Murphy look at the big man before looking at each other as THEY TEAM UP ON BIG E!

Commentary put over the unique alliances these kind of matches can make as Murphy and Dunne lay into Big E with a series of stiff forearms as they send Big E into the corner! Murphy follows it up with a HIGH KNEE before moving out of the way. Pete Dunne follows it up with a CLOTHESLINE! However, as he does this Murphy sneaks out of the ring and grabs A LADDER ON THE OUTSIDE! Dunne sees this and hits a BASEBALL SLIDE INTO THE LADDER sending Murphy crashing back first into the barricade dropping the ladder.

Dunne gets up and turns back around as BIG E wipes him out with a SHOULDERBLOCK! Big E stands over Dunne as he lifts him into the air above his shoulders and GORILLA PRESS TOSSES HIM ONTO MURPHY OUTSIDE THE RING! Big E turns around as SHELTON BENJAMIN SLINGSHOTS OFF THE ROPES HITTING A DDT! Boos from the crowd as the veteran catches him by surprise. Shelton smirks but the smile is wiped off his face as Ricochet hits a SPRINGBOARD MISSILE DROPKICK!

Shelton flies across the ring before stumbling back to his feet, looking a tad pissed off. He rubs his jaw and asks Ricochet if he is the new high-flier on the block. Ricochet thankfully stays silent as he sprints at Shelton looking for a roundhouse kick but Shelton ducks underneath and runs off the ropes connecting with a JUMPING CLOTHESLINE! He plants Ricochet as he smirks to himself and lets him get back to his feet. Both men stare each other down as they walk towards each other... BRYAN TAKES THEM OUT WITH A LADDER!

Boos ring out from the crowd as Ricochet and Shelton Benjamin fall out of the ring. Bryan smirks to himself and places the ladder in the center of the ring tapping the side of his head. He starts to make the climb but he stops after a couple of steps as he sees Buddy Murphy sliding into the ring to stop him! Murphy charges at Bryan but the planet's champion avoids the high knee attempt and rolls underneath grabbing the right leg of Murphy as he locks him in a HEEL HOOK!

Bryan tears at the leg of Murphy as the commentary team talk about how vital the damage Bryan is doing to Murphy's leg could be in winning this match! He wrenches back on the hold but as he does this, on the other side of the ring Pete Dunne starts to climb the ladder! Bryan seeing this lets go of the hold and goes after Dunne pulling him off the ladder. Murphy rolls out of the ring for the moment as Bryan goes for a few stiff strikes but Dunne responds with a series of his own!

Dunne rocks Bryan with several stiff strikes and lays into the planet's champion. Bryan though grabs hold of Dunne's hand and tries to lock him in a submission but Dunne counters as he slams Bryan's head into the ladder! Bryan is rocked as Dunne follows up with a TIGER SUPLEX planting Daniel Bryan! Dunne then looks at the ladder which has fallen on the mat and has an idea! He grabs hold of it and hits Bryan in the back with it a couple of times before placing it on the mat!

He grabs hold of Bryan's right arm and places his hand in between the ladder before SLAMMING THE LADDER DOWN ON HIS FINGERS! Loud cheers from the crowd as Dunne slams it on Drew's hand several times before Bryan tries to roll away so Dunne jumps into the air AND STOMPS ON HIS HAND! Dunne smiles enjoying his handiwork but he soon as gets hoisted into the air as BIG E HITS HIM WITH AN OVERHEAD GERMAN SUPLEX ONTO THE LADDER! Dunne's back bounces off the ladder with a thud before rolling out of the ring clutching his back!

Bryan meanwhile rolls out of the ring selling the pain his right hand is in and leaves Big E all alone in the ring. Big E picks up the ladder and looks like he is about to set up the ladder as we see Ricochet climb onto the ring apron as he gets ready to springboard into the ring so BIG E YEETS THE LADDER CATCHING RICOCHET IN THE MIDSECTION SENDING HIM CRASHING TO THE OUTSIDE! A sickening impact as Ricochet lands with a hard thud!

Murphy though responds by kicking Bryan off, causing Bryan to fall down clutching his right hand! Murphy starts to climb the ladder again as Byran rolls under the ladder and grabs the right leg of Murphy! Bryan then hits a MODIFIED DRAGON SCREW LEG WHIP INSIDE THE LADDER! Murphy is in a lot of pain as Bryan keeps hold of the right leg using his left hand, bringing Murphy down a few rungs before locking him in a MODIFIED ANKLE LOCK WITH THE HELP OF THE LADDER!

Murphy is in a ton of pain as Bryan wrenches back on the leg as commentary put over Bryan trying to break the leg of one of his rivals in this match. Murphy hands from the ladder and even taps out but it is no use as Bryan refuses to let go of the hold! However as Bryan is yanking back on Murphy's ankle, Shelton Benjamin climbs onto the ring apron and hits a SLINGSHOT ELBOW DROP BREAKING THE SUBMISSION! Bryan falls to the mat as we see Buddy Murphy trapped upside down on the ladder with his right leg in agony.

Shelton though turns his attention to Bryan for now. He grabs hold of the planet's champion as he lifts him up and POWERBOMBS HIM ONTO THE LADDER BRIDGE AND IT BREAKS! The broken bits of the ladder are left in the ring as Bryan lies in the wreckage. Shelton smirks as we see Murphy get to his feet using the ropes. Shelton grabs one-half of the broken ladder as he looks at Murphy and clocks him with it to boos from the crowd. Murphy rolls out of the ring leaving Shelton Benjamin alone until Ricochet slides into the ring and joins him inside!

Shelton looks angry as he swings for Ricochet but the young high-flier ducks underneath the ladder shot from Shelton! Ricochet springboards off the ropes and looks for a CROSSBODY BUT SHELTON CLOCKS HIM IN MID-AIR! Ricochet's mid-section is taking a hammering so far this match as Shelton smirks to himself. He looks to do more damage to Ricochet who has rolled over towards the ropes as Ricochet grabs the OTHER HALF OF THE LADDER CRACKING SHELTON IN THE LEG WITH IT!

Shelton stumbles back still holding his piece of the ladder as Ricochet is back on his feet with his piece of the ladder. Both men then meet in the center of the ring as the broken ladder pieces collide as both men try to fend the other one-off. They duel for a little bit but as they do Pete Dunne slides into the ring with a LADDER OF HIS OWN AND RUNS BOTH MEN OVER WITH IT! They both fall to the mat and rolls out of the ring taking the broken piece of the ladder with them!

Dunne then turns around as we see Big E trying to climb back in but Dunne knocks him off the apron with the ladder! Bryan tries to climb in but Dunne knocks him off as well! Dunne is on fire as he drops the ladder to the mat and starts to climb the ladder! However, as he gets about halfway up the ladder Buddy Murphy slides back into the ring! He gets a massive pop from the crowd but he is noticeably limping as he enters the ring and PUSHES THE LADDER OVER STOPPING DUNNE FOR THE MOMENT!

Dunne however lands on his feet as Murphy charges at him but Dunne catches him with a forearm to the jaw. Murphy stumbles back but bounces off the ropes as he connects with a V-TRIGGER! Murphy though clutches his knee which he hurt upon impact with Dunne's jaw. Murphy though grabs hold of Dunne and even looks to go for MURPHY'S LAW... BUT DUNNE RESPONDS BY BITING MURPHY! Loud boos for the dirty tactic by the Bruiserweight but it is all legal as he follows up by hitting an X-PLEX ONTO THE LADDER IN THE RING!

Murphy's back bounces off the ladder as he rolls out of the ring selling the damage from this match so far. However, as he climbs the ladder we see Daniel Bryan climb into the ring on the other side. Both men make it to the top of the ladder and starts trading blows at the top. Dunne though starts to take control as each punch hurts Bryan's right hand and Dunne grabs hold of it as he TEASES THE FINGER SNAP... BIG E IS BACK IN THE RING AND HE GRABS THE UPRIGHT LADDER BEFORE TIPPING IT OUT OF THE RING!

Dunne and Bryan fall to the ground outside the ring with a hard thud as Big E shows off his insane power. Behind him we see Shelton Benjamin climbing onto the ring apron so Big E runs off the ropes and HITS A SPEAR THROUGH THE ROPES TO THE OUTSIDE! Both men lay in the wreckage outside the ring as Shelton clutches his back and Big E clutches his neck. As the wreckage is shown around the ring we see Ricochet back on his feet as he climbs into the ring and sets up the ladder once again!

He climbs up the ladder in the ring and gets halfway to the top... as BIG E SLIDES INTO THE RING! He grabs the ladder and looks to tip it like did to Dunne and Bryan but RICOCHET KEEPS CLIMBING UNTIL HE IS ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE LADDER! A massive pop from the crowd as Ricochet jumps off and CONNECTS WITH A DROPKICK! Big E stumbles backward into the corner as Ricochet follows it up with RECOIL! Big E falls to the mat as Ricochet looks to reposition the ladder but as he does he is joined in the ring by Buddy Murphy!

The crowd once again gets behind their home country hero but he is noticeably struggling to walk. He charges at Ricochet who leapfrogs over Murphy and connects with a BASEMENT DROPKICK TO THE RIGHT LEG! Murphy clutches his leg as Ricochet springboards off the ropes and HITS A MOONSAULT ON MURPHY'S RIGHT LEG! Murphy clutches it in pain as Ricochet gets a mixed reaction from the crowd. The one and only shrugs though as he sets up the ladder ready to make the climb. He gets two rungs from the top but he is stopped by SHELTON BENJAMIN!

Once again Shelton and Ricochet stare each other down as Ricochet asks Shelton if he can still steal the show? Shelton smirks and tells Ricochet to watch this as he goes for DRAGON WHIP BUT RICOCHET DUCKS AND RUNS OFF THE ROPES GOING FOR RECOIL... BUT SHELTON CATCHES HIM AND POWERBOMBS HIM ONTO THE LADDER DOWN IN THE RING! Ricochet's back bounces off the ladder but Shelton isn't done there yet. He grabs hold of Ricochet's leg and looks to place it between the ladder! Shelton goes to slam it shut...

BUT RICOCHET MOVES IN TIME! Ricochet fires off a series of kicks which sends Shelton backward. Both men then charge at each other but Shelton leapfrogs over Ricochet and looks to SPRINGBOARD OFF THE ROPES... PETE DUNNE SLIDES IN AND CATCHES HIM WITH A FOUR-STAR FOREARM! Ricochet looks a bit shocked but gets taken down with a DRAGON SUPLEX BY DANIEL BRYAN! The two submission specialists in this match take the two more athletic competitors down leaving them lying on the mat.

Dunne and Bryan however after this have their eyes locked on each other. Both men grapple in the center of the ring as they look to outwork each other but Dunne takes control thanks to the damage done to Bryan's right hand earlier in the match! Dunne starts to bend Bryan's fingers back causing him a ton of discomfort so BRYAN RESPONDS WITH A LOW BLOW! A desperation move by Bryan who smirks before lining up Dunne. He taunts the crowd and goes for the RUNNING KNEE... BUT DUNNE MOVES IN TIME AND BRYAN COLLIDES WITH THE LADDER!

Bryan clutches his knee which is in a ton of pain after that move and Dunne quickly follows up grabbing Bryan as he lifts him into the air hitting him with the BITTER END! Bryan is down and out in the ring as Dunne looks at the ladder as he starts to make the climb to the top. He gets about halfway up the ladder as he can feel the Intercontinental title within reach. However, as he gets near the top we see BIG E IS BACK IN THE RING!

He charges at Dunne hitting him with a LEAPING BODY AVALANCHE CRUSHING DUNNE BETWEEN THE LADDER! Big E isn't finished though as he pulls Dunne off the ladder lifting him into the air and connects with THE BOOTY DROP (ELEVATED POWERBOMB)! Dunne's back bounces off the mat as Big E is pumped up as we see RICOCHET SPRINGBOARD OFF THE ROPES... BIG E CATCHES HIM AND POWERBOMBS HIM ONTO DUNNE!

Big E is fired up as SHELTON HITS A SUPERKICK! Big E is staggered as Shelton Benjamin looks to follow up with PAYDIRT... BUT BIG E COUNTERS IRISH WHIPPING HIM INTO THE LADDER... BUT SHELTON COUNTERS AND JUMPS UP THE LADDER! Big E though catches him quickly grabbing him by the leg pulling him down and hits him with a CLOTHESLINE! Big E then grabs Shelton Benjamin and lifts him into the air for the BIG ENDING... BRYAN HITS HIM WITH A CHOP BLOCK CUTTING HIM OFF!

Big E lets go of Shelton Benjamin who rolls away for a moment as Bryan follows up by hitting him by firing off on Big E with the YES KICKS! He lays into the powerhouse with a series of kicks as he makes a comment mocking his New Day brothers but all this seems to do is PISS BIG E OFF AS HE STARTS TO RISE TO HIS FEET THROUGH THE KICKS BEFORE GRABBING BRYAN AND GORILLA PRESS TOSSING HIM INTO SHELTON SENDING THEM CRASHING TO THE CORNER!

Big E then charges at the pair connecting with a body avalanche crushing them both in the corner of the ring! Big E moves out of the corner as Murphy hits a BICYCLE KNEE STRIKE TO THE HEAD! Murphy uses his left leg as Big E is staggered so Murphy runs off the ropes but Big E counters as he tosses Murphy up into the air before placing him onto his shoulders and SLAMS HIM DOWN ON THE LADDER ON THE MAT! Big E is on a tear as Ricochet once again looks to come back but before he can even do anything Big E hits him with a SHOULDERBLOCK sending him crashing him to the outside ring floor.

Big E is on a tear as SHELTON BENJAMIN AND DANIEL BRYAN RUN THROUGH HIM WITH A LADDER! Big E falls to the mat as both men lift the ladder into the air and bring it down on Big E slamming it onto him! Both men look at each other and nod as they toss Big E outside the ring! Shelton and Bryan carry on double-teaming Big E as they take him down on the outside and they then look towards the Spanish announce table! Both men nod as Daniel Bryan starts to take the Spanish announce table apart tossing the monitors and the cardboard cover aside.

Shelton and Bryan then both look to grab hold of Big E as they look for a double powerbomb through the table... BUT BIG E FIGHTS THEM BOTH OFF! Both men stumble back as Big E rocks them with a pair of clotheslines! Big E then grabs Shelton Benjamin and tosses him INTO THE TIMEKEEPER'S AREA! Bryan tries to take down Big E but he plants Bryan with a SPINEBUSTER ONTO THE RING APRON! Bryan falls to the floor clutching his back in pain as Big E stands above him... PETE DUNNE DIVES OFF THE TOP ROPE HITTING AN EUROPEAN UPPERCUT!

Big E falls backward as Dunne peppers him with several strikes before grabbing hold of his right hand for the FINGER SNAP... BUT BIG E OVERPOWERS HIM! Dunne is shocked as Big E hoists him into the air and PLANTS HIM WITH A TWO-HANDED CHOKESLAM ONTO THE RINGSIDE BARRICADE! Big E turns around as he looks to head back to the ring... AS RICOCHET FLIES OVER THE RING POST AND WIPES OUT BIG E!

Ricochet gets to his feet as Big E gets to his as well so Ricochet lines him up and connects with a DISCUS LARIAT... BUT IT BARELY FAZES BIG E! Big E grabs Ricochet by the neck and looks for the BOOTY DROP AS RICOCHET COUNTERS WITH RECOIL! Big E falls backward and is left leaning on the announce table as Ricochet sees a ladder nearby and has an idea. He moves Big E onto the announce table and makes the climb! He takes his time as he slowly positions himself on the top of the ladder. He steadies himself before FLYING OFF THE LADDER AND HITS A 630 SENTON SENDING BIG E THROUGH THE ANNOUNCE TABLE!

The crowd let out a holy shit chant for the high-risk offense by Ricochet. Both men are out for the count as the camera focuses on them for the time being. We then cut back to the ring as the crowd goes wild as Buddy Murphy slowly slides into the ring! He struggles to his feet before grabbing the ladder on the ring mat and starts to set it up in the center of the ring. Buddy Murphy is still in a ton of pain as he starts to make the climb up the ladder, wincing after the damage done to his right leg by Daniel Bryan. He gets about halfway up...

AS SHELTON BENJAMIN JOINS HIM ON THE LADDER! Shelton is in a pain but is not as badly weakened as Murphy is so he makes his way to the top of the ladder much quicker than Murphy. Shelton reaches out for the title but Murphy stops him! They battle with each other at the top as they each look to knock the other man off the ladder but neither man can gain the upper hand here. However, as they are battling on top of the ladder Daniel Bryan slides into the ring and tips over the ladder sending both men crashing to the mat!

Bryan has a sick smirk as he turns back around and once again we see Pete Dunne in the ring. Both of the submission specialists stare each other down in the ring as the crowd cheers both on looking to see them face off. Dunne goes to lock up but Bryan looks to avoid it as he fires off a series of strikes. Bryan goes for a few southpaw punches making sure to keep his right hand away from the lethal Pete Dunne and sends Dunne down to the mat with a LEAPING ELBOW STRIKE! Dunne falls down and rolls out of the ring but Bryan isn't done yet following him to the outside.

Bryan sees the ladder Ricochet leaped off and grabs hold of it, making a ladder bridge between the ring apron and the barricade! Bryan makes his way over to Pete Dunne as he grabs hold of him and slams him back first onto the ring apron! Bryan isn't finished yet though as he grabs hold of Dunne bringing him onto the ring apron as well! He lifts Dunne up looking to send him through the ladder but Dunne fights back with several elbow strikes to the head! Both men end up balanced on the ring apron as BUDDY MURPHY ATTACKS THEM BOTH WITH A LADDER KNOCKING THEM OFF THE APRON AND TO THE FLOOR!

Murphy turns back to the ring as he sees Shelton Benjamin has snuck in and swings for him but Shelton Benjamin runs underneath the ladder! Murphy tries to turn around and catch Shelton but he is too slow as the veteran targets his damaged right leg with a basement dropkick! Murphy falls to the mat and is clearly in pain as Shelton smirks before looking in the sky at the Intercontinental title. The crowd reigns down heat on the veteran but he doesn't care as he starts to climb the ladder... but Murphy grabs his leg stopping him!

Murphy is unable to stand at the moment due to the pain in his right leg and this is all he can do to stop Shelton from winning the match! Shelton tries to kick him off but Murphy refuses to let go irritating Shelton. The veteran stops climbing and turns around before jumping off the ladder stomping on Murphy! Shelton grabs Murphy and taunts him, mocking Australia! This leads to a SLAP FROM MURPHY! Shelton gets annoyed and counters with a RUSSIAN LEGSWEEP ONTO THE LADDER!

Both men lay on the ladder for the moment selling the impact as Shelton rolls off the ladder still rubbing his jaw. Shelton shakes his head and mutters it's time to teach him some respect. He grabs the ladder and starts to place it in the corner of the ring between the ropes creating another ladder bridge adding to the one outside the ring. Shelton lays into Buddy with a few strikes before lifting him up looking to POWERBOMB HIM ONTO THE LADDER BUT MURPHY FIGHTS BACK!

Murphy lays into Shelton with a few elbows until Shelton is forced to let go of him and Buddy Murphy follows up with a JUMPING KNEE STRIKE. Shelton is staggered as Murphy lifts him up and plants him with MURPHY'S LAW! A loud pop from the live crowd as Shelton Benjamin rolls out of the ring for a moment. Meanwhile, Buddy Murphy winces in pain as he looks to the ladder and starts to limp towards it but stops as we see a smirking Daniel Bryan enter the ring.

Bryan is like a shark who smells blood in the water as he looks at the bad leg of Buddy Murphy but before he can do anything DUNNE CLOCKS HIM IN THE BACK WITH ANOTHER LADDER. Bryan falls to the mat as Murphy charges at Dunne so the Bruiserweight tosses the ladder at him but Murphy ducks and goes for a KNEE STRIKE... BUT DUNNE COUNTERS LOCKING IN A SINGLE-LEG BOSTON CRAB! Murphy is in a ton of pain as once again his right leg becomes a target.

Dunne keeps the hold on as he tries to make sure Murphy has no more say in this match. However, as he is doing that we see Daniel Bryan is back on his feet and starts peppering Pete Dunne with YES KICKS! Dunne no-sells them at first but eventually falls to the mat when Bryan hits the roundhouse kick. Murphy meanwhile rolls to the corner clutching his right leg as Bryan hits him with a CORNER DROPKICK! Bryan turns around smirking at the crowd... AS SHELTON BENJAMIN HAS SNUCK INTO THE RING AND IS MAKING THE CLIMB UP THE LADDER!

Bryan sees this and cuts Shelton off by grabbing his foot and locking him in a MODIFIED HEEL HOOK! Just like Murphy, Bryan is trying to take out Shelton Benjamin's ability to climb the ladder. He is tearing away on the hold as Buddy Murphy meanwhile rolls of the corner and grabs the ladder from the mat as he smashes Bryan in it breaking the hold! However, Shelton's foot is stuck! Murphy realizing Shelton is trapped and Bryan is down sets up another ladder next to them and starts to make the climb.

The veteran tries to free himself but Murphy is now halfway up the ladder... AS THE BRUISERWEIGHT PETE DUNNE JOINS HIM ON THE LADDER! Both Dunne and Murphy make it to the top of the ladder at the same time as they start to battle for control. Shelton meanwhile has finally freed his foot and he climbs the ladder he is on as he reaches out for the title... but the other two stop him. All 3 are on ladders now and soon it is 4 people on the ladders as Daniel Bryan reaches the top too!

All 4 men lay into each other with strikes and look to get their fingertips on the title but it is no use as they all stop each other from grabbing the title. As the battle goes on though we hear a loud pop from the crowd as RICOCHET SLIDES BACK INTO THE RING! He makes his way over to the ladder with all 4 men on it and PUSHES THEM BOTH OVER! All of them land with a hard thud on the outside of the ring as Ricochet tosses one of the ladders at DUNNE AND BRYAN OUTSIDE THE RING WIPING THEM OUT!

Ricochet then runs off the ropes and dives over the ropes on the other side of the ring where Shelton and Murphy landed as he wipes out MURPHY WITH A SUCDICE DIVE! A loud pop from the crowd but Ricochet isn't done there as he follows it up with a STANDING SHOOTING STAR PRESS TO MURPHY! Ricochet smiles as he soaks in the cheers from the crowd but is noticeably holding his ribs. He rolls back into the ring as he grabs the ladder he pushed over and sets it up in the ring as SHELTON CLOCKS HIM FROM BEHIND!

The veteran looks angry as he grabs Ricochet by the head and starts slamming his head into one of the steps of the ladder! He keeps slamming Ricochet's head onto the ladder before holding his head as it seems Ricochet has been BUSTED OPEN! Shelton tells him that Ricochet will never be on his level before looking to lift him up for the T-BONE SUPLEX AS RICOCHET ESCAPES AND CLIMBS THE LADDER! Shelton looks shocked as Ricochet is about halfway up the ladder so Shelton runs around and climbs the ladder as well!

Shelton uses all his energy to catch up with Ricochet who is fingers tips away from the Intercontinental title but Shelton punches him in the gut stopping him! Shelton is now on the top of the ladder as well as he looks to knock Ricochet off the ladder but the One and Only holds on. Shelton then slams Ricochet's head onto the top of the ladder before reaching up, trying to get his fingertips on the Intercontinental title but Ricochet hits him in the gut. Ricochet then grabs hold of Shelton Benjamin...

AS HE LEAPS OFF THE LADDER AND HITS A SPANISH FLY FROM THE TOP OF THE LADDER TO THE RING!!!​

A massive holy shit chant starts up once again as Ricochet shows off his insane athleticism. He lays on the mat for a moment as Shelton Benjamin rolls out of the ring clearly out for the count after that move. Ricochet meanwhile uses the ropes to get back to his feet but as he does this... BUDDY MURPHY PULLS HIM OUT OF THE RING! He hoists Ricochet up before POWERBOMBING HIM ONTO THE RING FLOOR! Ricochet clutches his back which is in a ton of pain as Murphy isn't finished as he wants to keep Ricochet down as he lifts him up and sees a ladder on the floor by him! He lifts Ricochet up and runs towards it hitting a BRAINBUSTER ONTO THE LADDER!

A massive pop from the crowd for the high-risk move onto the ladder. Ricochet is down and out cold as Murphy gets to his feet holding his back but also limping as he heads back towards the ring looking to climb. The Aussie crowd is 100% behind him as he slides into the ring and starts to climb the ladder! The crowd will him on through every step as he fights through the pain of his leg as he gets a few rungs from the top... DANIEL BRYAN SLIDES IN GETTING BOOS FROM THE CROWD AND PULLS MURPHY OFF THE LADDER!

Massive heat as Daniel Bryan denies the home country hero from winning the match! Daniel grabs hold of Murphy and IRISH WHIPS HIM INTO THE LADDER BRIDGE IN THE CORNER OF THE RING! Loud boos from the crowd as Bryan smirks and starts to make the climb up the ladder. He is halfway up the ladder, taking his time due to the damage to his leg and right hand. Bryan noticeably is in a ton of pain but is nearly at the top of the ladder... AS PETE DUNNE APPEARS AND PULLS HIM OFF THE LADDER WITH AN ELEVATED GERMAN SUPLEX!

Bryan lands with a hard thud upon impact as Dunne smirks and grabs hold of Daniel Bryan. He tucks his head in and HITS A PEDIGREE! Shades of Bryan's old rival Triple H by Pete Dunne as he looks to the ladder and gets ready to make the climb... as BUDDY MURPHY SLIDES INTO THE RING AND CHARGE AT HIM... BUT HIS LEG GIVES WAY! Murphy is in a lot of pain as Dunne makes his way over Murphy and lays into him with a series of hard strikes stunning him for the moment.

Dunne isn't done there though as he grabs hold of both Murphy's wrists and starts stomping on Murphy! The crowd who were behind Dunne before are now loudly booing him as he lays a beating in on Murphy who struggles to fight back! He eventually lets up and drops Murphy to the mat who is dazed after that beating and Dunne starts to make the climb. He takes it slowly feeling the effects of this 25 minute plus match so far... BUT MURPHY GRABS HIS LEG STOPPING HIM!

Murphy refuses to let his dream die! Dunne tries to kick him off but Murphy holds on and finds enough strength to pull him down. Dunne however responds with a swift kick to the jaw! Dunne looks annoyed and looks to make sure Murphy is unable to stop him. He gives him a few stomps to the head before grabbing his right hand! The crowd starts to chant no but DUNNE SNAPS THE FINGERS OF MURPHY! Murphy cried out in pain as Dunne smirks and gets a ton of heat from the fans.

He then grabs Murphy and looks for the BITTER END BUT MURPHY COUNTERS WITH A KNEE TO THE HEAD! Dunne is rocked as Murphy grabs hold of him and using the last of his energy counters hitting Dunne with MURPHY'S LAW! Dunne falls to the mat and rolls out of the ring as Murphy hops to his feet still limping and his right hand in a ton of pain.

However, Murphy gets to his feet with assistance from the ladder and then looks up at the title and starts to make the climb! He slowly climbs each rung of the ladder as the crowd cheer him on and root for him as he makes each step slowly but surely. He climbs each run of the ladder but he eventually makes it to the top of the ladder! Murphy steadies himself on the top as he reaches for the title!

BUT DANIEL BRYAN APPEARS AND TIPS OVER THE LADDER SENDING MURPHY CRASHING ONTO THE LADDER BRIDGE OUTSIDE THE RING!​

The ladder collapses upon impact as Murphy buckles in the wreckage of the ladder. The fans meanwhile reign down nuclear heat on Daniel Bryan for costing the home country hero but he does not care as he taps his head and mocks the fans making the heat even bigger. He chuckles to himself as he grabs the ladder he tipped over and repositions it back in the center of the ring. He once again taunts the fans before he starts climbing the ladder as weirdly the crowd starts to cheer...

AS BIG E IS BACK IN THE RING!​

Big E still feeling the effects of the 630 senton through the announce table grabs hold of Bryan and hits an OVERHEAD GERMAN SUPLEX! Bryan lands with a hard thud as Big E charges at him squashing him between himself and the ladder bridge in the corner of the ring! Bryan is in a ton of pain as Big E lifts him up and connects with THE BOOTY DROP SENDING BRYAN THROUGH THE LADDER IN THE CORNER! Bryan is down and out as Big E stands over him getting a massive pop.

Big E then makes his way up towards the ladder in the center of the ring and starts to climb the ladder BUT PETE DUNNE CLIMBS UP THE OTHER SIDE! Big E struggles to climb due to the damage done to him earlier in the match and this means Dunne reaches the top of the ladder at the same time! Both men look at the title before looking at each other as they trade punches atop the ladder. Big E is in control of the fight thanks to his superior size and power...

UNTIL DUNNE GRABS HIS HAND! Big E tries to get free but Dunne hits him with a forearm staggering him for a moment. Dunne takes a moment as he goes to snap the fingers of Big E... BUT BIG E FIGHTS HIM OFF! Big E then grabs hold of Dunne and connects with a SUPERPLEX FROM THE TOP OF THE LADDER! Both men land with a hard thud but Big E gets back to his feet and makes his way up the ladder again. He slowly climbs to the top and reaches for the title as BIG E PULLS DOWN THE TITLE AND IS THE NEW INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION!

Winner and new Intercontinental Champion: Big E (28:31)​

Big E lifts the Intercontinental title into the air, soaking in the cheers from the live crowd. He has a big smile on his face but is clearly still in pain after what he went through during this match.

Byron Saxton: Big E has done it and is now a two-time Intercontinental Champion!

Corey Graves: I have to give Big E credit. We saw the serious side of Big E tonight and even after taking a six-thirty senton from Ricochet off a ladder, he still fought back to win the match.

Byron Saxton: And there was so much chaos around the ring during this match.

We then see highlights off the match play showing off the big segments throughout the match.

Corey Graves: You saw during the match how much becoming Intercontinental Champion meant to all six men and the damage they put their bodies through was insane.

Big E is now off the ladder as he carries on celebrating his victory tonight before we cut to the backstage area.

We see Ember Moon is sat backstage as she can be seen playing the latest Tekken game which I'm sure the commentary team in real life would be shilling over and over and over. As she is playing we hear the door open as Alexa Bliss makes her way into the room. Ember Moon pauses her game as she makes her way over to her best friend to greet her.

Ember Moon: Hey Lexi, how you feeling ahead of tonight?

Bliss lets out a slight smile.

Alexa Bliss: You know me Ember. What is an Empress to a goddess?

Bliss smiles but Ember remains serious.

Ember Moon: Bliss, I've stepped into the ring with Asuka before and the way she is acting, this ain't the Asuka of old. This is a totally different Asuka.

Bliss shakes her head before looking back at Ember.

Alexa Bliss: I've faced her too Ember. And I know this is a different Asuka but I'm a different Alexa Bliss.

Bliss is getting fired up as she continues.

Alexa Bliss: It has been over a year since I've held gold. I'm a five-time Women's champion and I'm hungry to make it six! Yeah, I know how good Asuka is but I am a goddess and will show her why blissing me off was a mistake.

Alexa Bliss walks past Ember who looks a little worried. She stays silent for a moment.

Ember Moon: Alexa, I'm just... I'm...

Alexa Bliss: Looking out for me?

Bliss turns back to her friend.

Alexa Bliss: I get it Ember and I appreciate it. But I'm not Carmella. I'm five feet of fury and I can handle myself. Trust me.

Ember doesn't look convinced but she nods as smiles as she fist bumps her friend Alexa.

Ember Moon: Well you better win because I'm winning the Rumble and kicking your ass at Wrestlemania.

Alexa Bliss: You wish. I'll be beating you at Wrestlemania.

Both women share a laugh with each other as we then cut back to the ring for the second match of the show.

Loud boos ring out as The Queens of WWE make their way out. Lacey Evans and Charlotte Flair are even wearing matching gear as they walk down the ramp, taking their time to show off and taunt the crowd on the way to the ring.

Byron Saxton: Corey there was some doubt over whether this match would even take place after the brutal attack by Charlotte Flair on Friday Night.

Corey Graves: The Queen knew what she was doing. Tegan is now going to have to come into this match with a weakened knee. And The Queens of WWE will be able to take advantage.

A pretty decent pop from the live crowd as Team Kick make their way out and Tegan noticeably is struggling to walk as she makes her way towards the ring. She has quite the limp as Kai looks concerned but Tegan is determined to fight tonight.

Byron Saxton: Well credit to Tegan, even with her damaged leg she still wants to fight.

Corey Graves: You can call it brave but I think it is stupid. If she was smart she would pull out of tonight and live to fight another day.

Byron Saxton: Tegan is a fighting champion, Corey.

Corey Graves: And with the damage done to her leg by Charlotte she won't be champion for much longer.

Once in the ring, Tegan Nox wants to start for the team but Kai talks her out of it and instead she steps into the ring looking to start the match. Tegan reluctantly but wisely stands on the apron as a smug Lacey Evans starts for the Queens. The referee then calls for the bell and the match is underway!

WWE Women's tag team titles: Team Kick (c) vs The Queens of WWE​

Kai and Charlotte circle the ring upon the bell ringing as Charlotte mocks and taunts Kai asking how her friend's leg is. This ends up being a mistake as Kai charges at Charlotte and lays into her with a series of kicks. She peppers Charlotte so much that she sends The Queen back into the corner and forces her to tag in Lacey Evans! Lacey charges in but she soon meets the same fate as Kai clobbers her with a series of kicks and sends Lacey into the corner of the ring! She quickly follows up with a KAIO KICK!

Tegan reaches out for a tag as Kai looks a little reluctant due to the damage to Nox's leg but makes the tag bringing her friend into the match. Kai Irish whips Lacey out of the corner and Nox hits Lacey with a FOREARM SMASH! Nox makes the cover 1 2 Evans kicks out! Nox is fired up and she starts laying into Lacey with a series of forearms strikes, hoping to gain a measure of payback for the attack by the Queens of WWE on Smackdown Live. Nox lifts Evans up off the mat before slamming her down to the mat with a GERMAN SUPLEX! Nox makes the cover again 1 2 Evans kicks out!

Tegan is already in control as she peppers Evans with a series of kicks before lifting the first lady up and sends her back into the Team Kick corner as she tags in Kai. The pair charges in at Lacey and hits a DOUBLE BIG BOOT in the corner! Evans falls out of the corner as Kai steps back into the ring and lays into her with several kicks to the chest before going for the roundhouse kick to finish but Evans avoids it and looks to make it to the corner... BUT KAI CUTS CHARLOTTE OFF WITH A DROPKICK KNOCKING HER OFF THE APRON!

Cheers from the crowd as Kai keeps Evans isolated for the moment. Evans charges at Kai looking for a punch but Kai counters with a knee to the gut sending Lacey down to her knees and Kai connects with a SCORPION KICK! Kai makes the cover 1 2 Evans kicks out! Team Kick are in total control of the match so far as Kai lays into Evans once again before sending her back into Team Kick's corner of the ring. Kai lays into Evans in the corner as Tegan reaches out for the tag. Kai is reluctant again but does tag her friend back into the match.

Tegan using her left leg lays into Lacey in the corner with some kicks of her own before tossing her out of the corner. Tegan then climbs to the second rope as he dives off hitting a DIVING CROSSBODY! Tegan holds on as she makes the cover 1 2 Lacey kicks out! Tegan isn't done though as she runs off the ropes looking for the SHINEST WIZARD BUT CHARLOTTE CHOP BLOCKS HER! Loud boos for the cheap shot as Tegan's leg completely buckles. Kai immediately slides into the ring looking to attack Charlotte but the referee stops her.

The referee eventually calms Kai down and Kai heads to the corner of the ring shaking her head as Lacey Evans in the ring smirks as she sees Tegan Nox struggling on the mat in pain and makes the tag bringing Charlotte into the match. Charlotte smirks as she taunts the crowd and mocks Tegan Nox before immediately going after the right leg of the Welsh Wizard! She starts to go after it with a few elbows drops to the right leg before locking her in a submission as she starts to grind Tegan down.

Boos ring out from the crowd as Charlotte is wearing down one-half of the tag team champions. Tegan is in a lot of pain as she looks to crawl towards her corner but as soon as she gets close Charlotte breaks the hold and sends Tegan across the ring with a GERMAN SUPLEX! Charlotte makes the cover pressing on Tegan's right leg. 1 2 Tegan kicks out! You can see though there is a ton of pain on the face of Tegan as she kicks out and that brings a smile to Charlotte's face. She makes her way over to her corner and makes the tag bringing Lacey back in the match!

Lacey makes her way over to Tegan Nox and does a HANDSTAND INTO AN KNEE DROP ONTO HER RIGHT LEG! Tegan cries out in pain as Lacey smirks before following up with a standing body splash! Lacey makes the cover 1 2 Nox kicks out! Tegan tries to roll away upon kicking out but Lacey grabs hold of her connecting with a GATOR ROLL INTO A FACEBUSTER! Lacey makes the cover once again 1 2 Nox kicks out! The Queens of WWE are now in complete control of this match as Evans brings Nox over to the corner of the ring!

Lacey and Charlotte make a series of frequent tags with each other as they pummel Tegan Nox in the corner of the ring. Dakota Kai paces up and down on the ring apron as she looks concerned for her tag team partner. After this beating in the corner goes on for nearly half a minute she tries to naively step into the ring but the referee stops her! And this allows Charlotte/Lacey to choke Tegan Nox in the corner using the tag rope! Loud boos from the crowd but the challengers don't care as they stop choking Nox when the referee turns back around.

Kai is fuming on the apron as the cheap tricks from the heels carry on. Charlotte is now the legal woman as she grabs hold of Tegan Nox's leg and places it in a SINGLE LEG CRAB! She wrenches back on the leg of Tegan who is in an insane amount of pain. Tegan though refuses to tap and looks to make it to the nearest ring ropes which she does! However, it's by the challenger's corner so Lacey gives her a cheap shot to the head! Loud boos again from the crowd and this time the referee warns Lacey. She doesn't really care about what the referee says as Charlotte makes the cover 1 2 Nox kicks out!

Charlotte looks to Lacey and tags her partner in who jumps to the second rope and dives off, once again landing on the right leg of Nox! Nox is clearly in a lot of pain as Lacey drags her out of the corner and locks in a KNEEBAR! The attack on the right leg of Tegan Nox carries on. Lacey tears at the leg of Tegan as we can hear Charlotte shouting some instructions to Lacey as she carries on her mentorship. Kai meanwhile encourages Tegan who tries to find her way out of the hold and crawls towards her corner looking to break the hold and tag out! Tegan is very close to the ropes as she reaches out looking to meet Kai's hand... BUT CHARLOTTE KNOCKS KAI OFF THE APRON WITH A BIG BOOT!

Loud boos from the crowd and once again the referee tells Charlotte off as Tegan sees her friend fall to the apron so instead grabs the bottom rope forcing a break. The referee starts to count with him getting to 4 before Lacey finally lets go of the hold. She then grabs Tegan by the hair and slams her down with a MAT SLAM! The referee tells Lacey off again as she makes a cocky cover 1 2 Nox kicks out! Tegan is in a lot of trouble as Lacey gets to her feet and she signals she is looking to end this! She gets her arm ready as she looks for the WOMEN'S RIGHT... NOX DUCKS AND ROLLS LACEY UP!

Lacey kicks out!​

Nox nearly stunned the Queens of WWE there! She gets to her feet as an angry Lacey Evans charges at her but Tegan Nox counters with a HEADBUTT! Lacey is staggered so Tegan Nox follows it up by hitting her with a CHOKESLAM! Cheers from the crowd as Tegan Nox makes the cover 1 2 Lacey kicks out! Tegan Nox rolls off Lacey Evans as she is still clearly in pain but she slowly gets to her feet as she grabs hold of Lacey Evans and lifts her up as she HITS THE BITTER END ON LACEY EVANS! Commentary reminds us that Tegan was trained by Pete Dunne as she makes the cover again

Lacey kicks out!​

Tegan is starting to get the crowd fired up as she looks to the corner and Dakota Kai is back on the ring apron! Tegan Nox, still limping starts to make her way over to the ring apron as she looks to make the tag... BUT EVANS GETS TO THE CORNER FIRST AND TAGS IN CHARLOTTE FLAIR! She quickly runs across the ring and cuts Tegan off! Kai tries to run into the ring at this point but Charlotte dodges a kick from Kai and sweeps her leg out! Charlotte follows it up by running off the ropes as she connects with a SPEAR! Charlotte gets back to her feet smirking as TEGAN SHOCKS HER WITH A ROLL UP!

Charlotte kicks out!​

Charlotte looks angry as she gets to her feet looking for a big boot but Tegan Nox ducks and scoops Charlotte onto her shoulders as she connects with MISERY BUSINESS (Fireman's carry facebuster)! Tegan makes the cover 1 2 Charlotte kicks out! Tegan looks to the corner again looking to make the tag again but once again Lacey cuts off the tag. She grabs Dakota Kai and Irish whips her into the barricade to boos from the crowd as The Queens of WWE continue to cut off the champions!

In the ring meanwhile, Tegan sees this and connects with a ROUNDHOUSE KICK using her left leg! She however had to put all her weight on her right leg so is in pain. We see Lacey Evans meanwhile slide into the ring as she swings at Tegan looking for the WOMEN'S RIGHT... BUT TEGAN NOX COUNTERS WITH AN X-PLEX! Nox using what her mentor Pete Dunne taught her! Lacey rolls out of the ring as Tegan Nox lines up Charlotte Flair and runs off the ropes looking for the SHINEST WIZARD BUT CHARLOTTE CATCHES THE LEG!

Charlotte holds onto the leg and transitions into the FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK! She has the hold locked in tight in the center of the ring as Tegan Nox screams in pain as Charlotte wrenches back on the right leg of Tegan Nox. She is in a ton of pain as Charlotte leans back and extends to the bridge! Tegan Nox is in agony as she reaches out for the ropes but they are just out of reach! Dakota Kai meanwhile sees Tegan is in trouble and tries to slide in to stop it but once again LACEY CUTS HER OFF WITH A WOMEN'S RIGHT!

Kai drops to the mat and rolls out of the ring as Charlotte carries on wrenching on the hold but Tegan tries to reach the ropes as she desperately tries to find a way to break the hold! She is inches away from the ropes and looks like she is about to break the hold... AS LACEY RUNS TO THE ROPES AND BOUNCES OFF THEM HITTING THE SASSY SAULT ON NOX!

That stops Tegan Nox dead as Charlotte lets go of the hold and brings Tegan towards the center of the ring. Charlotte grabs hold of Tegan's right leg and locks her in the FIGURE EIGHT ONCE AGAIN! Tegan is in a ton of pain and is trapped in the center of the ring as Kai tries to break the hold but Lacey stops Kai. Tegan sees Kai unable to get past Lacey...

AND SHE TAPS OUT!

Winners via pinfall and New WWE Women's tag team champions: The Queens of WWE (10:02)​

Boos ring out from the crowd as Charlotte Flair releases the hold from Tegan Nox and gets to her feet. Lacey lets go of Dakota Kai who immediately runs over to check on Tegan and see if her friend is OK. Tegan is still clutching her right leg which is still in a ton of pain. Charlotte Flair and Lacey Evans meanwhile snatch the WWE Women's tag team title from the referee as they lift them into the air and taunts the fans.

Corey Graves: The Queens of WWE have done it and are the new WWE Women's tag team champions!

Byron Saxton: Albeit thanks to the assault by Charlotte Flair on Smackdown!

Corey Graves: The Queen will do whatever it takes and she just helped herself dethrone the longest-reigning Women's tag team champions in WWE history.

Byron Saxton: You have to give credit for the heart Tegan tried to show to fight through the pain but in the end, she couldn't carry on.

The Queens of WWE are now at the top of the entrance ramp as they once again lift their WWE Women's tag team titles into the air, looking very smug. Meanwhile, Team Kick are sat down in the ring looking upset having come up short tonight as Kai helps Tegan Nox out of the ring.

We then cut backstage as we see Big E walking through the back clearly in pain. However, he has a big smile on his face and the Intercontinental title around his waist. The smile gets even bigger as the rest of the New Day approaches him! Woods and Kofi jump on Big E as they all share a hug.

Big E: Guys, guys I'm still a little sore.

Xavier Woods: Sorry man, we're just so proud of you.

Kofi Kingston: You said you were going to do it and you did man.

Big E smiles.

Big E: And this is just the start because you are going to become WWE Champion tonight.

All three men smile and share another hug as we cut back to the commentary team at ringside.

Byron Saxton: The New Day are halfway to having the perfect night.

Corey Graves: This is what I warned Big E against. He is too focused on Kofi's success instead of celebrating himself.

Byron Saxton: Or maybe he is supporting his friend? Y'know being a good friend.

Corey Graves: Since when did you have friends Byron? How would you know how to be a good friend?

Byron rolls his eyes and chooses not to argue with Corey Graves as we look to get to the third match on the card.

Boos ring out as Jinder Mahal makes his way to the ring. The former WWE Champion has an angry scowl and he knows he has a point to prove tonight against his former teammate Drew McIntyre.

Byron Saxton: Jinder Mahal tonight looks to prove a point and defeat his former teammate Drew McIntyre.

Corey Graves: I haven't seen him this motivated since he was the WWE Champion. And Jinder is right, Drew has never won the WWE title.

An angry Drew McIntyre slowly makes his way out. The fans go wild as the sinister Scotsman slowly walks out and heads to the ring. He glares at Jinder Mahal in the ring whilst Jinder glares back at him.

Byron Saxton: You are right, Drew has never won the WWE title but he is my pick to win the Royal Rumble.

Corey Graves: Orton may have something to say about that.

Byron Saxton: Well Drew will be desperate to get his hands on Orton and get some revenge against the Viper.

Corey Graves: If Drew doesn't have his focused on Jinder, he could lose this match Byron.

Drew McIntyre is about to climb into the ring and Jinder uses this to CHEAP SHOT HIM! Boos ring out as Jinder knocks Drew off the apron and he falls to the floor. Jinder isn't done though as he climbs out of the ring and attacks Drew outside the ring! Jinder Mahal lays into Drew McIntyre hitting him with several clubbing blows before grabbing him and sending him SHOULDER FIRST INTO THE STEEL STEPS! Drew clutches his shoulder which is in pain as Jinder follows up with a boot squashing Drew between his foot and the steel steps.

The referee climbs out of the ring and tells Jinder off for his actions but Jinder doesn't give a damn. Meanwhile, the commentary team reminds us that the bell hasn't been called for yet! Jinder makes his way over to the timekeeper's table and argues with them before grabbing a steel chair from them! Jinder shouts abuse at the fans lifting the steel chair into the air and turning around holding it in place... CLAYMORE INTO THE STEEL CHAIR!

A massive pop from the crowd as Jinder Mahal falls to the floor and drops the steel chair. Drew grabs hold of his shoulder which is still in pain after being sent into the steel steps. Meanwhile, Jinder Mahal is out for the count as Drew snarls at him before walking over to him as he drags the dead weight towards the ring apron. He then rolls Jinder Mahal into the ring who is still out of it after the claymore. Drew rolls into the ring as well and tells the referee to ring the bell which he does!

Jinder Mahal vs Drew McIntyre​

Drew doesn't waste any time as he signals to the crowd and they start to count down as Jinder Mahal is staggering to his feet 1 2 CLAY... JINDER DUCKS ROLLS OUT OF THE RING COLLAPSING TO THE RING FLOOR! Loud boos from the crowd as Jinder narrowly avoids another claymore from Drew McIntyre. Jinder is stumbling around the ringside area so Drew slides out of the ring and clobbers Jinder from behind! And it is now Drew's turn to send Jinder into the steel steps!

Jinder's back slams off the steel steps as the fans enjoy the pain he is suffering. Drew isn't done though as he scoops Jinder up and hits an OVERHEAD BELLY TO BACK SUPLEX ON THE RING FLOOR! Jinder flies across the ring floor as the referee in the ring gets to a 4 count. Jinder tries to get to his feet but Drew turns back around and takes off Jinder's head with a LARIAT! Jinder falls to the floor but Drew isn't done as he rolls Jinder back into the ring as he looks to carry on the beating.

Drew grabs hold of Jinder but the former WWE Champion fights back and RAKES DREW'S EYES! Loud boos from the crowd for the blatant cheating by Jinder as the referee tells him off but Jinder doesn't care as he uses this to send Drew into the corner of the ring! Jinder follows up by charging at Drew and lays into him with a few CORNER CLOTHESLINES! He gets 3 or 4 off before laying into Drew McIntyre in the corner before he brings Drew out of the corner and connects with a BELLY TO BACK SUPLEX! Jinder makes the cover 1 Drew powers out!

Jinder looks shocked at how quickly Drew kicked out but goes right back on the attack. Jinder grabs Drew and locks him in a headlock to boos from the crowd and a fair few fans roll their eyes at this. Jinder tries to bring Drew up off the mat and transition into another move but Drew overpowers him and stuns Jinder. Jinder doubles over as DREW HITS THE GLASGOW KISS! Jinder drops to the upon impact as Drew glares at him.

Jinder is clearly still feeling the effects of the claymore outside the ring before the match as Drew grabs hold of him and PLANTS HIM WITH THE FUTURESHOCK DDT! Jinder is down for the count but Drew isn't done. He signals to the crowd and heads to the corner of the ring as the fans start up the count! 1 2 CLAYMORE! Drew drops Jinder Mahal and makes the cover

A decisive win for Drew McIntyre!

Winner via pinfall: Drew McIntyre (3:53)​

Loud cheers ring out from the live crowd as Drew gets to his feet having picked up a decisive win over his former tag team partner and a former WWE Champion to boot. Jinder meanwhile lays down and out on the mat still feeling the effects of two claymores including one with a steel chair to boot.

Byron Saxton: A dominant win for Drew McIntyre tonight and he proves Survivor Series was no fluke.

Corey Graves: Jinder was robbed! Drew hit him with a steel chair before the bell!

Byron Saxton: Jinder attacked Drew and he defended himself. Hell, the only reason Jinder got hit with the steel chair is because he tried to use it on Drew before the bell!

Corey Graves: It's a tainted victory Byron and I hope Drew knows that won't get the attention of Randy Orton.

Byron Saxton: Whether he has the attention of Randy or not, Drew has to be one of the favorites for the Royal Rumble itself.

Corey Graves: That I agree with Byron.

We get one final image of Drew celebrating his victory tonight and we then see Jinder only just coming to after the match and he looks furious as we cut elsewhere backstage.

We see Cathy Kelly walking through the backstage area as she approaches a locker room door with a sign on it saying: ASUKA. She knocks on the door and waits for a response because Cathy is polite. The door opens and we see an angry Asuka poke her head out of the door.

Asuka: What do you want?

Cathy Kelly: Um I was just looking to get your thoughts ahead of your title match later on tonight?

Asuka doesn't say a word as she glares at Cathy who looks to fill the dead space.

Cathy Kelly: I mean you step in the ring with Alexa Bliss, a five-time Women's champion so I just wanted to know where your mind is...

Asuka: Sore wa mondaide wa arimasen. Kanojo wa dare demo kamaimasenga, watashi wa kanojo o hakai shimasu. Watashi wa enbāmūn o funsai shi, sugu ni daremoga sore o shitte irudeshou...

Asuka pauses for dramatic effect and for the first time during this promo she smiles.

Asuka: Nobody is ready for Asuka!

Asuka smiles for a few moments before shutting the door on Cathy Kelly bringing the interview to an end as we cut back to the commentary team at ringside.

Byron Saxton: Well it seems Asuka is fired up ahead of her title match tonight.

Corey Graves: The Goddess may soon learn why people fear the Empress.

A pop from the live crowd as they hear the theme music for The Miz and John Morrison. However, neither man comes out to the confusion of the live crowd.

Byron Saxton: Well we are meant to be getting the number one contender's falls count anywhere match between as The Miz and John Morrison take on The War Raiders.

Corey Graves: Byron I'm getting word in my headset that there may be a situation backstage!

The camera does cut backstage and we see a hallway as The Miz is fighting Rowe and John Morrison is brawling with Hanson! We then see a referee approaching them as The War Raiders due to their superior size have taken control of the fight and slam Miz and Morrison into the walls! We then cut back to the commentary team as Corey nods and looks at the camera.

Corey Graves: Byron I'm getting word from our commissioner Wade Barrett, since this is a Falls count anywhere match, it will start right now!

We hear a bell ring in the arena for the live crowd as we then cut backstage and the falls count anywhere match is officially underway!

Number one contender's falls count anywhere match: The Miz and John Morrison vs The War Raiders​

We cut back to the match as Hanson and Rowe both lift Miz and Morrison into the air as they slam them once again into the walls backstage. The War Raiders follow up by hitting both men with clubbing blows before sending them flying down the hallway and into another brick wall! The War Raiders are far from done as they charge down the hallway and squash the A-Listers against the wall! The War Raiders are in total control early on due to their size as they lift each man up for a POWERBOMB... BUT MORRISON HITS A HURRICARANA ON HANSON WHILST ROWE POWERBOMBS MIZ!

Rowe turns around but gets taken by surprise with a JUMPING KNEE! John Morrison quickly follows it up by JUMPING OFF THE WALL AND HITTING A MOONSAULT! Morrison stays on for the cover 1 Hanson breaks it up! Hanson grabs Morrison and looks to lift him into the air BUT MIZ TAKES OUT HANSON'S LEGS FROM BEHIND! Miz using his brain to bring Hanson down to the floor. Miz and Morrison then see Rowe getting to his feet so clobber him with a pair of knees and then hit a DOUBLE SUPLEX! Miz makes the cover 1 Rowe powers out!

Miz and Morrison nod both knowing they will have to a lot more to keep these two men down! Hanson gets back to his feet but Miz and Morrison boot him in the gut before hitting a DOUBLE SPINEBUSTER! Morrison and Miz look to make the cover but Rowe comes alive hitting both men with a DOUBLE CLOTHESLINE! The power of the War Raiders is providing an edge one more time. Rowe then grabs Miz by the head and LAUNCHES HIM INTO THE CAMERA AND THE EQUIPMENT RUINING THE SHOT!

We get a shot of the ceiling for a few seconds until we cut to a different camera as Rowe YEETS MORRISON THROUGH A DOOR INTO A STORAGE ROOM! The door flies open as Rowe taps Hanson on the shoulder as they head into the room looking to go after Morrison. Both men look to go through the door but get met with THE FOAM FROM A FIRE EXTINGUISHER! Both men stumble backward as The Miz trips BOTH MEN UP FROM BEHIND! They fall over the bent-over Miz and Morrison follows up by leaping off Miz's back and HITS A TWISTING CORKSCREW CROSSBODY AS THEY GET UP!

Morrison and Miz once again use their surroundings to their advantage. Miz picks up the fire extinguisher as he smashes Hanson with it and then follows it up with a shot to the head of Rowe as well! Miz tosses the fire extinguisher away as he makes the cover on Rowe 1 2 Rowe kicks out! Morrison follows it up with a cover on Hanson 1 2 Hanson kicks out! Morrison and Miz shake their heads as they think about what to do next. They head back through the door and start to look around the room they have entered into for a weapon.

They toss out a bucket and a few other items before Miz walks out with a broomstick in his hand. Rowe starts to get to his feet so Miz smashes him with the broomstick and IT JUST BREAKS IN HALF! Morrison kicks out!​

The War Raiders look angry that Morrison kicked out as they give him a few clubbing strikes to the back. They beat him down a bit more before lifting him off the floor and LAWN DARTING HIM INTO THE STORAGE ROOM! Morrison is showing in the wreckage inside the room as The War Raiders smirk to themselves happy with the damage done. They turn around AS MIZ CLOBBERS HANSON WITH THE BROKEN CAMERA! Hanson falls to the floor as Miz swings at him but Rowe scoops him up and slams him down on the hard floor as he makes the cover 1 2 Miz kicks out!

Rowe looks annoyed as Hanson is still nursing his head after being walloped with the camera. Rowe hoists the Miz off the floor and lifts him into the air AS HE LAUNCHES HIM DOWN THE HALLWAY! Miz lands with a hard thud out of view of the camera as The War Raiders talk to each other and nod as they look to go after The Miz! The camera cut to Miz who is struggling to get to his feet by a fire door as ROWE SLAMS HIM WITH A SHOULDERBLOCK SENDING THEM THROUGH THE DOOR! Rowe makes the cover 1 2 Miz kicks out!

The camera then cuts to inside what looks like the entrance to the arena as we can see a balcony-like area around them. Hanson and Rowe stand over The Miz as they taunt the A-Lister! Miz is struggling to stand up, selling the impact of the damage done by The War Raiders so far but tries to fight back 2 on 1 against the giants! He gets a few punches off but The War Raiders soon overpower Miz and lay a beating on him! They clobber Miz with several strikes before grabbing him by the neck each and HIT A DOUBLE CHOKESLAM! Hanson makes the cover

The Miz kicks out!​

The Miz refuses to give in here and that pisses off the War Raiders even more! Hanson and Rowe nod to each other as Hanson picks Rowe up as he looks to POWERBOMB HIM ONTO THE MIZ... BUT MIZ LOW BLOWS HIM! Desperate times call for desperate measures from the A-Lister but he allows himself to survive for the time being as Hanson falls to the floor and drops Rowe as well! Miz crawls away from the pair looking to get some breathing room and starts to look around the area for a weapon.

He ends up by a pool table and he reaches underneath it grabbing a POOL CUE! We see Rowe charging at him as he whacks one-half of the War Raiders with the stick sending him onto the pool table. We then hear “HEADS UP” as The Miz and the camera look up to see JOHN MORRISON HANGING ONTO THE RAILING! He lines up Rowe AS HE JUMPS OFF AND HITS STARSHIP PAIN ONTO ROWE BREAKING THE POOL TABLE! Morrison makes the cover

HANSON BARGES PAST MIZ AND BREAKS THE COVER!​

Hanson saves the match and his tag team partner. He grabs hold of Morrison and looks to send him into the wall BUT MORRISON AGAIN USES IT TO BOUNCE OFF... BUT HANSON CATCHES HIM IN THE AIR AND POWERSLAMS HIM TO THE FLOOR! Hanson makes the cover 1 2 Miz breaks it up! Miz saves the match for his team. He gives Hanson a few strikes but once again Hanson overpowers him and hurls him into the brick wall... Miz counters with a SPIKE DDT!

Hanson's head bounces off the floor and Miz follows it up by hitting Hanson with the IT KICKS! He peppers Hanson with the kicks before hitting him with the ROUNDHOUSE KICK! Miz isn't done though as grabs the leg of Hanson and locks him in a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK! Hanson is in a ton of pain as Miz tears away at his right leg! Rowe meanwhile gets back to his feet and looks to attack The Miz... LOW BLOW FROM JOHN MORRISON AS WELL! Miz and Morrison may be good guys but they will still do whatever it takes to win a no DQ match! Hanson meanwhile lifts his arm into the air...

AND GRABS THE POOL CUE WHACKING THE MIZ TILL HE LETS GO!​

Miz rolls away as Hanson rolls over and struggles to his feet using the pool cue as a walking stick. However, as he gets to a vertical position John Morrison SMASHES HANSON WITH A BEER BOTTLE! Hanson falls to the floor upon impact as Morrison returns to the bar. He climbs on top of the bar as he looks to dive off it but ROWE GETS TO HIS FEET! Rowe swings for Morrison but he uses his agility to avoid Rowe! He hangs from a light Rowe can't reach him on so Rowe climbs onto the bar looking to grab Morrison...

BUT MIZ APPEARS AS HE TRIPS ROWE UP ! Rowe falls over the bar and we hear a CRASH AS ROWE LANDS IN THE BAR AREA BELOW. Miz climbs onto the bar as he grabs a METAL TRAY AND JUMPS OFF THE BAR SLAMMING IT INTO ROWE'S HEAD! Morrison meanwhile returns to the bar as Hanson staggers to his feet so Morrison hits A DIVING KNEE STRIKE! Morrison isn't done as he climbs back onto the bar and hits STARSHIP PAIN OFF THE BAR! Morrison hooks the leg

Miz and Morrison pick up the win!

Winners via pinfall: The Miz and John Morrison (9:35)​

Miz climbs out from behind the bar as he smiles. John Morrison meanwhile gets to his feet and celebrates the win, as Miz and Morrison are now one match away from becoming tag team champions once again. The War Raiders meanwhile lay down and out in the wreckage of the bar and pool area as we cut back to the commentary team at ringside.

Corey Graves: A hard-fought match but I have to give credit to The Miz and John Morrison. They went into this match in the War Raiders environment and they picked up the win.

Byron Saxton: Miz and Morrison are crafty veterans who know how to pull out a victory in tough circumstances.

Corey Graves: And now they will go onto the Royal Rumble to fight either The Revival or Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.

Byron Saxton: And we will find out who will walk into the Rumble as WWE Tag team champions later on tonight but right now...

Byron Saxton gets cut off as we cut to the titantron and we see the logo for the Firefly Funhouse appear on the screen confusing the commentary team. The crowd seems a tad confused as well as the theme song plays. The music comes to an end as we then see what looks like a children's TV show set. Once again the crowd looks confused and unsure what to make of all of this. The door then swings open as Bray Wyatt walks onto the set. He is in a red jumper and beige slacks. He also has a pair of black gloves on as he starts to wave at the camera. We hearing fake applause and cheers like you would hear on a sitcom as Bray has a big smile on his face.

Bray Wyatt: Did you guys miss me? Cause I missed you people.

An awww plays as Bray smiles.

Bray Wyatt: I missed each and every one of you. My fireflies.

He lingers on that line for a moment before smiling once again.

Bray Wyatt: But I knew I would come back to you. I knew I would be in front of you people. I saw it in my dreams. I know how crazy it is sounds...

Bray pauses as his smile gets even wider.

Bray Wyatt: But I always knew I would bring the Firefly Funhouse to you people.

We hear the kids in the crowd cheer and Bray is feeling hyped up.

Bray Wyatt: Yowie wowie. We're going to have so much fun here!

He stretches his arms out, like he used to in the past.

Bray Wyatt: This is going to a special place. A place where all my fireflies and their friends can be kept safe. Where my family can come home to me. Where old friends and enemies...

Bray's face for a moment turns to a scowl as ominous music plays in the background before Bray starts to smile.

Bray Wyatt: Can come together and we can play in peace.

Bray smiles once again.

Bray Wyatt: But in my time away, I've met some very special friends. And they have taught me so much.

Bray even does a little jump of joy he is so happy. The camera then cuts to a cardboard box with “Mercy the buzzard” drawn on it in a black pen. The box opens up and we see a buzzard puppet with a colorful scarf on it. The “kids” go oooh and aww as he pokes his head around.

Mercy the Buzzard: Hello I'm Mercy. The Buzzard.

We then cut to a window with some bland curtains and we see a female puppet dressed in all black with purple eyes.

???: Hello, I'm Abby the Witch.

Abby speaks in a very dour and bland voice with a bit of an echo. We then cut to a table as a rabbit puppet hops out and appears.

???: Hey guys, I'm rambling rabbit. And it is so cool to finally be in the Firefly funhouse! I'm so happ...

Rambling Rabbit goes flying as Bray Wyatt knocks him over and leans on the table.

Bray Wyatt: It feels so good to be here and with friends.

We cut Rambling Rabbit who has the standard cartoon birds over his head before we cut back to Bray whose smiles turn to sadness.

Bray Wyatt: I used to be a really bad man.

Boos from the children at the Firefly Funhouse as Bray nods.

Bray Wyatt: I deserve that. But I've been punished for everything I did wrong.

Bray is now smiling as he looks at his “heal” glove.

Bray Wyatt: And the old Bray is dead. Long gone. But I like to keep a reminder, so I know what not to become again.

The camera then pans over to a cardboard cut-out of Bray Wyatt. We then cut back as Bray stops for a moment and puts his “hurt” hand over his ear and nods. He then turns back to the camera with a devilish smirk as he pulls out a box of matches.

Bray Wyatt: Sometimes though, you need to burn the bridges behind you so there is no way back kids!

Bray then sets fire to the cardboard cut-out. We see the cut out burn and start to fall apart as Bray cackles like a maniac whilst the children cheer this on. He is still cackling as he stands next to the burning cut-out figure.

Bray Wyatt: We are going to have so much fun. But I have one more friend to introduce to the world and he is...

Bray pauses for a moment as he puts the “Hurt” glove over his ear. He nods and lets out a sinister smirk.

Bray Wyatt: But he isn't ready to make himself known just yet.

The kids in the funhouse sound disappointed as Bray puts his hands out, apologetic and tilts his head.

Bray Wyatt: I know, I know. He will be here real soon but kids good things come to those who wait.

Bray smiles.

Bray Wyatt: And I promise we're going to have some real fun here over the coming week. But if you lose the way my fireflies I will always be here to guide you.

Bray lifts his “heal” hand up and shows it to the camera.

Bray Wyatt: All you have to do is let me in.

Bray gets serious for a spilt second before getting goofy again as he waves to the camera.

Bray Wyatt: Bye for now.

The kids in the funhouse cheers and say bye to Bray as the Firefly Funhouse segment comes to a close and we cut back to the commentary team at ringside, both men unsure how to react at first.

Corey Graves: I don't know what to make of it Byron. Bray Wyatt seems like a whole new man. Maybe he really is out for forgiveness?

Byron Saxton: Maybe but I don't know Corey. Something felt really off about the whole thing.

A decent pop from the live crowd as Liv Morgan makes her way out and she is joined by her allies over the last month Carmella and R-Truth. Truth looks to hype the crowd up and get them excited to see Liv in action whilst Carmella supports her friend who climbs into the ring ready for her long-awaited rematch with Ruby Riott.

Corey Graves: Liv Morgan has complained about Ruby Riott using the numbers game to stop her from getting her hands on her but Liv is a hypocrite. Why are Carmella and R-Truth out here?

Byron Saxton: Because they know Sarah Logan will try to get involved so they are out here to support their friend.

Corey Graves: Two wrongs don't make a right Byron.

Boos from the crowd as Ruby Riott makes her way out and she is joined by her tag team partner and fellow Riott Squad member Sarah Logan. Ruby climbs into the ring and she has a staredown with Liv Morgan.

Byron Saxton: Well both women know how big a win tonight could be. Win tonight and you might be in line for a future WWE Women's title shot.

Corey Graves: Ruby Riott was this close to becoming WWE Women's champion when she faced Asuka at Halloween Havoc. If she gets a second title shot, she might actually become champion.

Byron Saxton: Liv Morgan meanwhile has never had a title shot for the WWE Women's title match. We don't know how she would perform facing Bliss or Asuka for the title!

Sarah Logan and Carmella outside the ring exchange words before the referee calls for the bell to get this match underway!

Liv Morgan w/Carmella and R-Truth vs Ruby Riott w/Sarah Logan​

Once the bell rings, both Liv Morgan and Ruby Riott circle the ring at first as they stare each other down. Ruby Riott mocks Liv but she doesn't rise to it. Ruby goes in looking for a lock-up but Liv counters with a boot to the gut before grabbing Ruby by the head and slamming her down to the mat! Liv follows up and jumps onto Ruby Riott as she lays into her with several punches. A loud pop from the live crowd as Liv Morgan unloads on her former best friend.

Liv Morgan gets to her feet and runs off the ropes as she hits Ruby with a BASEMENT DROPKICK! Liv makes the cover 1 2 Ruby kicks out! Liv grabs Ruby Riott and locks her in a chinlock as she works over her on the mat. Ruby gets to her feet though and elbows Liv Morgan in the gut until she breaks the hold! Ruby follows it up as she looks to go for a knee strike BUT LIV DOES A MATRIX EVASION! Ruby is thrown off as Liv follows it up by SLAMMING RUBY TO THE MAT! Liv makes the cover 1 2 Ruby kicks out!

Liv is in control and lays into Ruby with a few kicks and strikes as Ruby looks to get some breathing room, so LIV STOMPS ON HER BACK! Liv makes the cover 1 2 Ruby kicks out! Liv is in total control as she once again lays in a few blows on Ruby Riott before Irish whipping her into the corner of the ring! Liv hits a clothesline smashing Ruby in the corner. She follows up with a variety of kicks, peppering Ruby Riott with blows. She then heads back to the opposite corner before doing a CARTWHEEL HANDSPRING FOLLOWED BY A BACK ELBOW!

A loud pop from the crowd for the move by Liv who then grabs Ruby by the head as she connects with a ONE-HANDED BULLDOG! Liv follows it up by KIPPING-UP as she signals to the crowd which gets another pop. She grabs hold of Ruby Riott using her legs and locks in THE CODE OF SILENCE! Carmella nods on the outside Truth can be heard quipping “did you teach her that?” as the crowd cheer on Liv Morgan. Ruby Riott is in a lot of pain but she maneuvers her body until she gets her foot on the bottom rope breaking the hold!

Liv lets go of the hold after the referee gets to the count of 3. She backs away from Ruby for a moment as she signals to the crowd she is about to go for obLIVion! Liv Morgan charges in and GRABS RUBY RIOTT... LOGAN GRABS LIV'S LEGS STOPPING HER! Boos from the crowd as Liv falls backward to the mat after being tripped by Logan. Carmella though upon seeing this sprints around the ring as she attacks Sarah Logan! Carmella and Sarah Logan start to brawl up the ramp as the two women disappear backstage and R-Truth follows his friend backstage!

Back in the ring, Liv Morgan gets to her feet having shaken off falling on her back and looks to line up Ruby Riott for the JERSEY CODEBREAKER... BUT RUBY COUNTERS WITH A SUPERKICK! Ruby takes a moment to rest and smirks having turned the tides after Liv controlled the opening few moments. She looks to the outside and realizes though she is now on her own. She shakes her head before going back after Liv Morgan as attacks her on the mat, working over Liv Morgan.

Liv Morgan is in pain on the mat as Ruby carries on working over her. Ruby transitions the hold grabbing her arm and locks Liv in an ARMBAR! She starts to wrench back on the left arm of Liv Morgan as she has her trapped in the center of the ring as Ruby looks to get Liv Morgan to tap out! Liv is in a ton of pain as she looks to stretch her other arm out and scrambles to the bottom rope forcing a break! Ruby though keeps the hold on till the count of 4 before finally letting go!

Liv Morgan clutches her left arm which is in pain after being locked in the armbar for a while. And Ruby smirks as she boots Liv Morgan in the arm causing her even more pain. Liv Morgan clutches her arm once again and Ruby grabs the arm twisting it behind the back of Liv Morgan before booting it one more time! Ruby then runs off the ropes and connects with a PENALTY KICK! Liv falls to the mat as Ruby makes the cover 1 2 Liv kicks out! Ruby smirks as she grabs hold of Liv and tells her to stay down... BUT LIV SLAPS RUBY RIOTT SENDING HER BACKWARD!

Liv Morgan runs off the ropes and looks for another bulldog but RUBY COUNTERS WITH AN ARM-DRAG! Ruby slams Liv's left arm down on the mat but holds on to Liv as she hits her with another one! She ain't done there however as she lands near the ropes so hits a SPRINGBOARD CORKSCREW ARM-DRAG! Boos from most of the crowd but some pop for the cool move by Ruby Riott who stands over Liv who is still clutching her left arm. Ruby then lifts Liv Morgan up off the mat and plants her with a SNAP SUPLEX! Ruby makes the cover 1 2 Liv kicks out!

Ruby is smirking to herself as she gives the left arm of Liv Morgan on the mat another STOMP! Liv clutches it again as Ruby just smirks to herself and heads over to the corner of the ring. She makes the climb as she sizes Liv Morgan up and dives off the top rope hitting a DOUBLE KNEE DROP ON THE LEFT ARM OF LIV! Liv is in a ton of pain as Ruby smirks and looks to go for the ARMBAR AGAIN... BUT LIV FIGHTS OFF WITH SEVERAL PUNCHES! Liv lays into Ruby and rocks her with several strikes... BUT RUBY COUNTERS WITH A HEADBUTT!

Boos once again as Ruby Riott keeps cutting Liv off at every opportunity! Liv Morgan falls to the mat as Ruby makes the cover 1 2 Liv kicks out! Ruby Riott grabs hold of Liv Morgan and locks her in a body-scissors before she transitions into a FUJIWARA ARMBAR! She yanks back on the left arm of Liv Morgan who is struggling to cope with the pain as she grits her teeth and looks for a way to escape. She pushes on the mat and tries to crawl to the ropes... SO RUBY YANKS THE HOLD BACK FURTHER! Ruby leans back even more as Liv lifts her right arm into the air and pushes on the mat using Ruby's momentum to reverse into a pin!

Liv Morgan goes right back to clutching her left arm whilst Ruby looks pissed off! She knows she nearly lost the match and charges at Liv looking for another PENALTY KICK... LIV AVOIDS IT AND ROLLS RUBY UP IN AN INSIDE CRADLE!

Liv falls back down to the mat as Ruby looks angry. Ruby shakes her head but signals she is looking to end this! She lines up Liv as she gets ready to go for the RIOT KICK! She charges at Liv Morgan... BUT LIV COUNTERS WITH A SINGLE-LEG DROPKICK! Liv cuts off Ruby dropping her former friend. Liv gets to her feet and she looks angry as she clutches her left arm.She follows it up by running off the ropes and hits Ruby with another one!

Liv isn't done as she runs off the ropes and catches Ruby as she rises with a THIRD SINGLE LEG DROPKICK! Liv makes the cover 1 2 Ruby kicks out! Liv is getting fired up now as heads to the corner of the ring and climbs to the top rope. She steadies herself on the top rope turning away from Ruby Riott before flying off as she CONNECTS WITH A DIVING MOONSAULT! Liv makes the cover

Ruby kicks out!​

Liv gets to her feet as she clutches her mid-section and looks to the referee surprised she was able to kick out as she looks to end this. She grabs hold of Ruby Riott and pulls her off the mat... BUT RUBY COUNTERS BY SLAMMING LIV'S ARM ONTO HER SHOULDER! Liv is forced to break the hold as Ruby jumps into the air as she hits DEADLY NIGHTSHADE (Head-scissors driver into the turnbuckle)! Liv slumps down in the corner as Ruby drags Liv out of the corner and brings her back towards the center of the ring. Ruby then climbs to the top rope and flies off hitting WE RIOT! Ruby follows up as she makes a lax and cocky cover

Liv Morgan kicks out at 2.99!​

Ruby Riott gets to her feet and argues with the referee furious that the referee did not count to 3. The referee tells Ruby his decision is final as Ruby tares at her hair as she looks at Liv Morgan down on the mat and looks to end this. She drags Liv Morgan off the mat hitting her with a couple of headbutts keeping Liv staggered on the mat before lifting her up hitting her with a DDT! Ruby makes the cover

Liv kicks out again!​

Liv keeps on fighting and refuses to lose to Ruby Riott tonight! Ruby is furious as she grabs hold of Liv and clobbers her with several strikes on the mat as she asks why won't just stay down! She shakes her head before grabbing the left arm of Liv Morgan as she grabs hold of her locking in an ARMBAR ONE MORE TIME! Liv is in a ton of pain as Ruby gets it locked in tight but Liv thinking quickly scrambles to the ropes grabbing it with her right arm! Ruby though doesn't let go straight away as so LIV STARTS STOMPING ON HER TILL SHE LETS GO!

Ruby rolls away from Liv who is left struggling still, clutching her left arm which is now in a ton of pain. Ruby gets to her feet as she charges in at Liv Morgan going for THE RIOTT KICK... BUT LIV MOVES JUST IN TIME! Ruby gets trapped on the ropes as Liv sees this and jumps to her feet as she hits Ruby with obLIVion! Liv plants her rival but landing on her left arm causes her some pain so she can't make the cover straight away!

Liv grits her teeth as she gets back to her feet as she looks at her former friend whose struggling on the mat and bends over her saying “This is for turning your back on me! Now I'm bringing the old me back”. She lines Ruby up lifting her off the before running off the ropes and connects with the JERSEY CODEBREAKER! Ruby falls to the mat as Liv makes the cover

Liv Morgan wins and finally overcomes her former best friend!

Cheers from the crowd as Liv Morgan gets to her feet as she celebrates her victory over Ruby Riott tonight. Liv grabs her left arm before having her right arm raised by the referee.

Byron Saxton: Liv Morgan finally did it! She proved to Ruby Riott she is no weak link.

Corey Graves: I'll give Liv Morgan credit. She proved herself tonight and some would say she may have put herself in line for a shot at the WWE Women's title!

As Liv carries on celebrating in the ring, we hear a pop from the live crowd as Carmella and R-Truth come out. They head to the ring and join Liv Morgan in the ring helping her celebrate her victory. We then cut to an angry Ruby Riott outside the ring who shakes her head upon seeing her former best friend celebrating with her new friends.

Byron Saxton: And Liv has even made a few new friends after being ditched by Ruby. This shows that sometimes losing bad friends can lead to making better ones along the way.

Corey Graves: Well our next match will be between two men who certainly won't be friends any time soon.

Byron Saxton: Karrion Kross has been unbeaten ever since he arrived in WWE and no one has come close to beating him.

Corey Graves: But only one man has been able to stop the Demon King Finn Balor. Will Kross be able to do that tonight? Let's see how we got here.

As the video package comes to an end we hear the theme music start to play as the anticipation in the crowd builds up. The lines go out and when they come back on red light fills the arena as Finn Balor makes his way out in full demon king attire! The crowd goes wild as he slowly starts to make his way down the ramp and to the ring.

Byron Saxton: The Demon King is something Finn only brings out when he is pushed to breaking point. When someone has made him so angry he needs something else to beat them.

Corey Graves: But it's worth noting Kross wanted to face the Demon King. He wanted the best or worst so to speak of Finn Balor just so he could tear him down!

Boos ring out as there is now an ominous atmosphere as Karrion Kross and Scarlett Bordeaux make their way. The siren leads the way as she sings the theme music for Kross (OK she is lip-syncing). In the ring, the Demon King is sat on the top rope as he glares at Kross who is glaring right back at Finn.

Byron Saxton: Kross has been on a tear ever since coming to Friday Night Smackdown.

Corey Graves: He has been damn near unstoppable Byron. But tonight might be his biggest test since coming to Smackdown.

Byron Saxton: Will Kross wish become a nightmare?

Corey Graves: Or will he slay the Demon King tonight?

Karrion Kross is now in the ring as the smoke around the ring starts to disappear. Balor hops over the top rope as he stares down Kross. Kross meanwhile has a slight smirk as the referee calls for the bell and this match is underway!

Once the bell rings, the smirk on Kross's face gets even bigger but Finn remains stoic as ever. Kross walks forward as he looks to go after Finn but the demon comes alive as he LEAPFROGS OVER KROSS AND CONNECTS WITH A DROPKICK ON THE REBOUND! Kross falls backward into the ring ropes so Balor hits him with a CLOTHESLINE SENDING HIM TO THE RING FLOOR! Kross lands on his feet but Balor runs off the ropes and connects with a SUICIDE DIVE!

Kross falls backward having been taken off his feet by Balor but the Demon King is not done there! He slides back into the ring and connects with a SECOND SUICIDE DIVE! Kross is staggered as Balor slides back into the ring and hits a THIRD SUICIDE DIVE! Kross falls to the floor as Balor gets back to his feet as he glares at Kross. Balor lifts Kross up and Irish whips Kross into the ringside barricade! Kross's back bounces off the barricade and gets hit with a HESITATION DROPKICK!

Balor is in total control as the referee tells him to bring this back into the ring but the Demon ignores him as he lays into Kross with several knife-edge chops! The referee gets to a 5 count so Balor wisely heads back to the ring sliding in and out breaking the count. Balor goes back on the attack laying into Kross again with several chops but after several get fired off Kross catches Balor's arm stopping him! He glares at Balor before lifting him up and SLAMS HIM TO THE FLOOR WITH A SPINEBUSTER!

Balor's back bounces off the ring floor as Kross grabs his mid-section and scowls, looking angry that Balor dared do any damage to him. Kross makes his way over to Finn Balor as he grabs hold of him and BIEL TOSSES HIM INTO THE BARRICADE! Balor once again winces in pain after being sent into the barricade. Kross meanwhile slides into the ring and back out himself as he looks to keep the punishment going. He clobbers Balor with a few clotheslines as he is on the barricade before Irish whipping Balor back first into the ring apron!

Balor winces in pain but Kross isn't done as he lifts him up into the air as HE LOOKS TO POWERBOMB HIM ON THE APRON... BALOR DESPERATELY PUNCHES HIM BEFORE HITTING A FACEBUSTER TO THE FLOOR! Balor rolls away for a moment saving himself from the deadly powerbomb! Balor is soon back on his feet as he hears the referee once again counting so rolls in and out once again breaking the count. Kross slowly gets back to his feet as BALOR RUNS ALONG THE APRON AND CONNECTS WITH A SOCCER KICK THE CHEST!

Kross falls back down to the ring floor as Balor follows up with a DIVING FOOT STOMP ON KROSS'S CHEST! Cheers from the crowd as he lands his finisher on the chest of Kross outside the ring! Balor gets to his feet as he glares at Kross before slowly lifting him up and rolling him back into the ring. Balor then makes his way to the corner as he signals for the end... THE COUP DE GRACE! BALOR FLIES OFF THE TOP ROPE... BUT KROSS ROLLS OUT OF THE WAY IN TIME!

Balor lands on his feet but Kross swipes his legs out from under him sending Balor onto his back with a hard thud! Kross isn't done though as he jumps onto Balor and lays into him with a series of hard strikes grounding and pounding the Demon King! Kross follows up by hoisting Balor up and tosses him across the ring with an OVERHEAD BELLY TO BACK SUPLEX! Kross doesn't follow up straight away as he clutches his mid-section and snarls at Balor before weirdly smiling as he tilts his head.

Scarlett on the outside smiles and says something in Latin as Kross charges at Balor looking for a CLOTHESLINE BUT BALOR MOVES IN TIME! Kross collides with the turnbuckle in the corner of the ring stunning him. Kross turns around and gets a DROPKICK TO THE MID-SECTION! Kross doubles over as Balor leaps over the ropes and climbs to the top turnbuckle as he dives off and hits a DIVING DOUBLE FOOT STOMP TO THE BACK OF KROSS'S HEAD! Balor pulls Kross out of the corner of the ring and makes the first cover of the match

Kross kicks out!​

Balor doesn't react as he keeps the same demon scowl on his face and responds to the kick-out by laying into Kross with a series of hard kicks to the chest. Kross is getting peppered with kicks as Balor lays into him but after about 8-10 of them, KROSS GRABS BALOR'S LEG AND LOCKS IN A KNEEBAR! Kross wrenches back on the leg of Balor as he cuts the Demon King's momentum off! Balor though with his left leg starts to kick furiously until he gets free from Kross's grip!

Balor tries to get some breathing room, struggling to his feet after the kneebar but Kross isn't looking to let up as he charges across the ring and flattens Balor with a BIG BOOT! Balor falls to the mat as Kross bends down and stands over him as he lays into him with several clubbing strikes! Kross then lifts Balor up and tosses him across the ring with an EXPLODER SUPLEX! Balor's back bounces off the mat as Kross follows up with a CLOTHESLINE TAKING BALOR'S HEAD OFF!

Kross's power is overwhelming here and he grabs hold of Finn Balor as he looks to take complete control now. He hoists Balor up and plants him with a GERMAN SUPLEX BUT HOLDS ON! Kross lifts Balor up and SLAMS HIM DOWN AGAIN! He refuses to let go of Balor though and yanks him up once again slamming him down with a THIRD SUPLEX! Kross though still doesn't let go as he hoists Balor up and connects with a FOURTH SUPLEX! Kross finally let's go as Balor falls to the mat and is clearly in a ton of pain as Kross rises to his feet and signals this is the end!

He stalks Balor from behind as he grabs hold of him and looks to lock in the KROSS JACKET! He gets the hold locked in tight as he looks to choke the life out of theDemon King who is starting to fade as Kross wraps his arms around the neck of Balor! Balor though using the last of his strength digs deep and forces them both to a standing position as he backs Kross up into the corner of the ring! He slams Kross back first into the turnbuckle several times but KROSS REFUSES TO BUDGE! Kross yanks Balor away from the corner... SO BALOR USES THE RING ROPES TO PUSH OFF AND GETS KROSS INTO A PINNING PREDICAMENT!

Kross kicks out and breaks the hold!​

Balor rolls away from Karrion Kross as he holds his neck coughing and spluttering as Kross sits there for a moment and looks furious. He makes his way towards Balor but the Demon King rolls out of the ring for the moment to recover so KROSS FOLLOWS AFTER HIM! Balor leans on the barricade but Kross doesn't give him the chance to recover as he clobbers him from behind with a LARIAT! Balor falls down leaning on the barricade as Kross yanks him up and hits a GUTWRENCH POWERBOMB ONTO THE BARRICADE!

Balor's back bounces off the barricade as Kross smiles happy to be inflicting a ton of pain to Balor who he grabs by the neck and tosses him into the steel steps back first! Balor is in real trouble here as Kross batters the Demon King in a way we have yet to see in his time within the WWE. Kross then makes his way onto the steel steps and climbs to the top of them as he towers over Finn. He starts once again hitting Balor with several clubbing blows before hoisting him up over his head! He lifts him over the ring post and hits a CRUCIFIX POWERBOMB INTO THE RING AND OVER THE RING POST!

An impressive feat of strength from Kross who lets out an evil smirk before climbing into the ring. Balor is even with the Demon make-up on his face is clearly in a ton of pain as Kross stalks him like a lion stalking his prey. Kross grabs hold of Finn Balor as he gets back to his feet and connects with a NORTHERN LIGHTS SUPLEX! Finn looks like he is down for the count as Kross looks to grab hold of him looking for the KROSS JACKET! Kross wraps his arms around the neck of Balor but the Demon King fights back with a series of elbows to the gut until Kross finally releases letting go of the hold!

Balor doesn't waste any time as he sprints off the ropes and connects with a DROPKICK TO THE GUT OF KROSS! Kross is staggered but stays on his feet! Balor sees this and runs off the ropes as he leaps into the air bringing down Kross with a SLINGBLADE! Balor carries on running and bounces off the ropes again hitting a SECOND SLINGBLADE! Kross stays down this time and Balor after running off the ropes connects with a STANDING DOUBLE FOOT STOMP! Balor then grabs hold of Kross as he looks to lift him up but struggles at first! He gives Kross a couple of kicks to the gut before lifting him up and hits 1916! Balor makes the cover

Balor looks shocked that Kross kicked out. He looks over to Kross and the referee before shaking his head as he looks to get down to business. He grabs hold of Kross as he once again looks to lift him up as he gets him into the air AND PLANTS HIM WITH A POWERBOMB! Insane strength from Balor who makes the cover

Kross kicks out again!​

Scarlett on the outside of the ring just smiles as she looks at Balor who cannot believe Kross has managed to kick out again! Balor looks furious that Kross kicked out as he shakes his head. He clutches his stomach and heads to the corner of the ring... HE IS GOING FOR THE COUP DE GRACE! He starts to climb to the top rope, struggling slightly due to the damage done to his back so far this match. However, as he is climbing to the top rope he sees Scarlett Bordeaux walking towards him! Balor glares at her ready for her to do something but Scarlett just smiles. Finn shakes his head and finishes the climb as he turns around...

KROSS SMASHES HIM WITH A FOREARM! Balor is stunned on the top rope as Kross climbs onto the top rope joining him as he lays into Balor several times before grabbing hold of him as he hits an AVALANCHE DOOMSDAY SAITO! Balor lands with a hard thud and is clearly down for the count. Kross could make the cover but he doesn't want to end it this way. He yanks Balor up off the mat and locks him in the KROSS JACKET! Kross yanks on Balor's neck and he swings Balor around like a rag doll. The referee checks on the Demon King... AND CALLS FOR THE BELL!

Winner via submission: Karrion Kross (11:22)​

Boos from the crowd as Kross keeps the hold on for a few extra seconds before dropping Balor's lifeless body to the mat. Scarlett has a smug smirk on her face as she joins her partner in the ring and raises his head celebrating his victory tonight.

Byron Saxton: These two men gave it their all and Finn even used the power of the Demon King but it was not enough to stop Karrion Kross tonight.

Corey Graves: Kross looks damn near unstoppable and I would hate to be whoever is next in his path.

Byron Saxton: Do you think he would be one of the favorites if he entered the royal rumble?

Corey Graves: I would think so Byron. Only Samoa Joe has managed to beat the Demon King before tonight and Samoa Joe has spent most of the year holding the United States title!

Kross and Bordeaux head up the entrance ramp as they celebrate Kross's victory tonight over Finn Balor. Back in the ring, we see Finn Balor choking and gets to a seated position. He looks off into the distance and clearly is deep in thought as he shakes his head. He even slams the mat selling his frustration with this defeat tonight.

Byron Saxton: A tough loss for Finn Balor tonight.

Corey Graves: It was but up next we are going to see the WWE tag team titles on the line as The Revival defends them against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn! Let's see how we got here.

Loud cheers from the crowd as the popular duo of Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn make their way out. Kevin Owens still looks to be pissed off as Sami can be heard saying a few words to him as the duo look to regain the WWE tag team titles tonight!

Byron Saxton: At Summerslam, we saw the two eternal frenemies work together to win the tag team titles against the War Raiders. However they lost those tag team titles thanks to the Corporation and tonight they look to get those belts back.

Corey Graves: Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn can blame the Corporation all they want but in the end, it wouldn't have mattered. The top guys would have beaten them. The Revival would have walked out of that four-way elimination match as tag team champions with or without the Corporation getting involved.

And now we get loud boos (though a few of the smarks in the crowd let out loud cheers) as The Revival make their way out to the ring. Both men lift their WWE tag team titles into the air showing them off proudly. Owens in the ring has a frown on his face as he glares at the champions as they walk down the entrance ramp.

Byron Saxton: The Revival are one of the best teams in the world...

Corey Graves: Um they are the best team in the world.

Byron rolls his eyes but carries on.

Byron Saxton: But if any two men on the planet know each other better than The Revival know each other it is Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.

Corey Graves: Yeah but as the top guys said, it is as enemies not as tag team partners. And we could see these two combust at any moment!

Now they are in the ring, we can see Kevin Owens has stepped inside ready to start for his team. The tag team champions meanwhile talk to each other in the ring as Scott Dawson nods looking to start for the champions. The referee then calls for the bell to get the WWE tag team titles match underway!

WWE tag team titles match: The Revival (c) vs Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn​

Kevin Owens starts the match off by charging at Scott Dawson but Dawson slides under the bottom rope avoiding Owens! Owens already does not look in the mood for these antics and tells Dawson to get back into the ring but the champion shakes his head. Owens though decides he will bring the fight to Dawson and slides out of the ring. Dawson though runs around the ring as he looks to avoid Owens! He slides back into the ring and turns around looking to catch Owens with a few stomps as he slides back in BUT OWENS KNOWS IT'S COMING AND INSTEAD GRABS DAWSON'S FEET BRINGING HIM OUT OF THE RING!

Owens then slams Dawson down on the hard floor as he asks Dawson if he looks stupid. As this is going on we see Dash Wilder going for a cheap shot but before he can SAMI DIVES OVER KO AND WIPES HIM OUT WITH A CROSSBODY! Owens and Zayn's teamwork is on show already. Owens meanwhile slides Dawson back into the ring and grabs hold of him locking him in a headlock. He yanks Dawson up off the mat and Irish whips him into his corner before following up with several clotheslines as he crushes Dawson! Owens backs up a little bit before hitting Dawson with a CANNONBALL SENTON! Owens pulls him out of the corner and makes the first cover of the match 1 2 Dawson kicks out!

Sami Zayn climbs back onto the apron and Owens seeing his friend makes the tag bringing him into the match. Owens grabs hold of Dawson as he Irish whips him into a CALF KICK! Dawson falls to the mat as Sami makes the cover 1 2 Dawson kicks out! Sami follows up the kick-out by catching Dawson as he gets back to his feet with a DROPKICK! Zayn makes the cover again 1 2 Dawson kicks out! Sami then runs off the ropes but as he does DASH PULLS THE ROPES DOWN SENDING SAMI OVER THEM TO THE RING FLOOR!

Boos from the crowd for the cheap tactic by The Revival and it pisses Owens off as well. Owens tries to get into the ring to confront Dash but the referee stops him and tells him to return to the corner of the ring. Owens shakes his head as outside the ring Dash rolls Sami back inside. Dawson meanwhile makes his way over to The Revival's corner and tags Dash Wilder back into the match. Dawson grabs hold of Sami from behind as he hits a GERMAN SUPLEX INTO AN EUROPEAN UPPERCUT!

Dawson heads back to the ring apron as Wilder makes the cover 1 2 Zayn kicks out! Wilder grabs hold of Sami as he looks to keep him on the mat and locks him in a headlock but as he looks to transition SAMI FIGHTS BACK! He gets a few elbows in before hitting a LEG LARIAT taking Dash down. Sami then grabs Dash and Irish whips him into the corner of the ring before tagging in Kevin Owens! Owens lays into Dash in the corner with several hard punches really before sending him out of the corner with an EXPLODER SUPLEX! Owens makes the cover 1 2 Wilder kicks out!

Owens and Zayn in the early going have the Revival's tricks mostly scouted as Owens gives Dash Wilder a few kicks after the kick-out before grabbing hold of him and sending back towards their corner with a GERMAN SUPLEX! Dash Wilder lands on his back as Owens charges in but Dash Wilder catches him with a SUPERKICK! Zayn looks to hit Wilder but Wilder elbows him in the chest staggering him on the apron! He then catches Owens with a LARIAT! Dash makes the cover on Owens 1 2 Owens kicks out!

Dash gets back to his feet and looks over to the corner of the ring as he makes the tag bringing Dawson back into the match. With both members of The Revival legal, they grab Kevin Owens and Irish whip him into the Revival's corner! Once Owens is in their corner the pair start to go CLUBBIN! The pair lay into Kevin Owens with several boots as they beat him down in the corner of the ring. They lay a beating on Owens for about a minute, making several rapid tags with each other as they isolate one-half of the challengers here.

Once the rapid tags finish Dawson brings Kevin Owens out of the corner and slams him down with a SPINEBUSTER! Dawson makes the cover 1 2 Owens kicks out! Dawson though nods to the booing crowd and locks Owens in a headlock as he once again looks to keep Owens from making a tag. Owens though starts to fights back and looks to elbow Dawson off him... BUT DAWSON GRABS OWENS ARM AND HITS AN ARM DRAG BRINGING HIM BACK TO THEIR CORNER! Dawson charges in looking for a LARIAT BUT OWENS DUCKS UNDERNEATH AND HITS A SUPERKICK!

Owens heads back to his corner of the ring and tags in Sami Zayn whilst Dawson tags in Wilder once again! Both teams meet in the middle of the ring as they start exchanging punches with each other, making full use of the referee's count but Owens and Zayn take control of the brawl thanks to their experience as singles competitors! Owens and Sami then grab hold of Dash Wilder as they hit him with a DOUBLE SUPLEX! Sami makes the cover 1 2 Wilder kicks out!

Sami gives Dash a few kicks to the chest before running off the ropes and connects with a BASEMENT DROPKICK! Sami makes another cover 1 2 Dash kicks out! Sami doesn't stop there as he looks to keep up the pressure with a STANDING MOONSAULT... DASH GETS HIS KNEES UP! Zayn is forced to roll away clutching his mid-section as he reaches over for the tag... DAWSON PULLS OWENS OFF THE APRON AND SENDS HIM INTO THE STEEL STEPS! Loud boos as once again The Revival push the rules to the limit as they look to keep their tag team titles.

Back in the ring, Sami turns around as Dash takes him down with a EUROPEAN UPPERCUT sending Sami into his own turnbuckle! Dash then gives Sami a knee strike in the corner before hitting a BELLY TO BACK SUPLEX ACROSS THE RING! Dash makes the cover 1 2 Sami kicks out! The Revival now look to do what they do best as Dash lifts Sami up and hits a T-BONE SUPLEX INTO THE TURNBUCKLE! Sami's back bounces off the turnbuckle as Dash Wilder tags in Scott Dawson!

Wilder hops over Sami Zayn and climbs to the second rope as Dawson grabs hold of Sami locking him in a BACKBREAKER HOLD AS WILDER DIVES OFF BRET'S ROPE HITTING AN ELBOW DROP! Wilder slides out of the ring as Dawson makes the cover 1 2 Zayn kicks out! Dawson grabs hold of Sami after the kick out and starts to wear down Sami as he stretches his back over his knee as he looks to grind Sami Zayn down on the mat. Owens is now back on the ring apron and he does not look happy. However, he tries to will Sami on to make the tag.

Sami though can't break free of the grip of Dawson who is wearing him down and just when it looks like he might break free, he gets slammed to the mat with a RUSSIAN LEGSWEEP! Dawson brings Sami back over to the corner and tags in Dash Wilder bringing him back to the match. Dash this time grabs hold of Sami as he works over back by locking him in a bearhug as DAWSON RUNS OFF THE ROPES AND HITS A LARIAT! Dash lets go of the hold and makes the cover pressing down on Zayn's back! 1 2 Zayn kicks out!

Dash now works over Sami Zayn as he once again grinds him down looking to put more pressure on his back. Sami is in a lot of pain but gets to his feet on the ropes forcing a break. Dash makes full use of the 5 count and this prompts Owens to storm into the ring! The referee once again has to warn Owens and this allows Dawson to clobber Sami with a cheap shot out of the view of the referee. Owens shakes his head as he knows he should know better and climbs onto the ring apron. Dash meanwhile yanks Sami off the mat and slams him down with BRIDING DRAGON SUPLEX! 1 2 Zayn kicks out!

Sami grabs his neck after kicking out as once again Wilder makes a rapid tag bringing Dawson back into the match! Dawson and Wilder both stay in the ring as Dawson runs off the ropes and Wilder hits a drop toe hold and Dawson hits a RUNNING ELBOW DROP! Dawson makes another cover 1 2 Zayn kicks out! Dawson once again grinds Sami down on the mat and makes sure to keep targeting his lower back, causing Sami a ton of pain in the center of the ring.

He lifts Sami up and uses the ring ropes to hit a SLINGSHOT SUPLEX! Dawson then tags in Wilder who jumps off the top rope and connects with a DIVING ELBOW DROP TO THE BACK OF ZAYN! Wilder rolls him over and makes the cover 1 2 Zayn kicks out! The rapid tags by The Revival serve to further frustrate KO in his corner who paces up and down on the ring apron, desperate to get back into the match! Wilder meanwhile gives Zayn a stomp to the back before grabbing him by the neck and locking him in a CAMEL CLUTCH!

He wrenches back on the hold as he causes Zayn a ton of pain! Sami grits his teeth as Wilder carries on pressing on his back. On the ring apron, we can see Owens reach out as he wills Sami on. Dawson meanwhile gets ready to stop Owens if he tries to get in the ring and break the hold! Sami though refuses to tap and looks to make it to the ring ropes! He wills himself on and reaches the bottom rope breaking the hold! Wilder keeps it on till 2 before breaking the hold! Sami meanwhile struggles to get to his feet due to the pain his back is in!

Wilder though chooses to give Sami a SUPERKICK TO THE BACK SENDING SAMI COLLAPSING TO THE RING FLOOR THROUGH THE RING ROPES! Boos from the live crowd for the cheap shot as The Revival are happy to take the win via count out. However, Kevin Owens seeing Sami on the ring floor has an idea! He grabs hold of his tag team partner and gets him back into the ring! The Revival soon realize what is going on however and goes after Kevin Owens as Dawson clotheslines him from behind! Owens though soon fights back and sends him into the barricade in the corner!

Dawson's back bounces off it as WILDER TAKES DOWN OWENS WITH A CHOP BLOCK TO THE LEG! Owens's leg buckles as Wilder smirks and lays into him with a series of uppercuts! He grabs hold of Kevin Owens by the neck and teases a DDT ONTO THE RING FLOOR! Owens though fights back and lays into Wilder with several punches to the head as they battle by the ring apron before hitting Wilder with a NECKBREAKER ON THE RING FLOOR! Owens isn't done though as the referee in the ring gets to a 5 count as Owens looks at Wilder and the ring apron as he has an idea!

He grabs Wilder and lifts him into the air as he looks to go for a POP-UP POWERBOMB ONTO THE RING APRON! He lifts Wilder up but Wilder fights out of it and hits an ARM DDT ONTO THE RING APRON! Owens grabs his right arm which is in pain as Wilder looks to scramble into the ring, breaking the count BUT OWENS GRABS WILDER WITH HIS LEFT ARM! He drags him back out of the ring and looks to go for the STUNNER... BUT DAWSON HITS A LARIAT TO THE BACK!

The Revival lay into Owens with a few punches to the back before they lift him up as they hit BIG RIG (Shatter machine) ONTO KEVIN OWENS OUTSIDE THE RING! Boos ring out as The Revival smirk and stand over Owens... SAMI ZAYN WIPES OUT THE REVIVAL WITH A SUICIDE DIVE! Cheers from the live crowd as Sami Zayn grabs Dash Wilder and rolls him back into the ring. Zayn does pause for a moment clutching his back. He checks on KO but sees he is out for the moment.

Zayn then rolls into the ring charging at Wilder who goes for a SUPERKICK BUT SAMI DUCKS AND RUNS UNDERNEATH AND BOUNCES BACK OFF THE ROPES HITTING A LEG LARIAT! Zayn gets to his feet but once again clutches his back before catching Wilder as he rises with a PUSH-OFF DROPKICK FOLLOWED BY A BLUE THUNDER BOMB! Sami again ends up clutching his back before making the cover 1 2 Wilder kicks out!

Sami gets back to his feet as we see SCOTT DAWSON RUN INTO THE RING SO ZAYN CATCHES HIM WITH A SCOOP SLAM! A pop from the crowd as Wilder gets back to his feet so Zayn catches him with a kick to the gut! Dawson gets to his feet too so ZAYN HITS A FLATLINER/DDT COMBO TO THE PAIR PLANTING DAWSON SKULL TO THE MAT! Dawson rolls out of the ring selling the impact as Wilder stumbles to his feet. Sami spins him around and hits an STO! ZAYN THOUGH FOLLOWS UP BY LOCKING IN THE KOJI CLUTCH!

Sami yanks back on the neck of Wilder as he tries to get him to tap out as Wilder is trapped in the center of the ring! Wilder though grits his teeth as he is quite clearly in a ton of pain! He lifts his arm into the air teasing he is about to tap out... as SCOTT DAWSON SLIDES INTO THE RING BUT OWENS TAKES HIM DOWN WITH A CLOTHESLINE! Owens doesn't stop there as he grabs hold of Dawson's leg and LOCKS HIM IN A SHARPSHOOTER! A loud pop from the crowd as he uses Bret Hart's signature move against him!

Both members of the Revival are in a lot of pain in the center of the ring as they both lift their arms into the air... AND GRAB HOLD OF EACH OTHER STOPPING DASH FROM TAPPING OUT! Owens as he is wrenching back sees this as he breaks the hold and tosses Dawson out of the ring! HE STRUGGLES DUE TO THE DAMAGE DONE TO HIS RIGHT ARM AND THIS ALLOWS DAWSON TO COUNTER WITH A DDT!

Owens falls to the mat as Dawson looks over to his tag team partner who is still just coming to and they head to the corner as Dawson climbs over the ropes so Wilder can tag him in! Wilder then grabs hold of Kevin Owens as he lifts him off the mat as Dawson runs off the ropes and THEY HIT A HART ATTACK! A massive pop from the crowd as Owens stays alive! The Revival though do not look happy as they wonder what they are going to need to do to keep a hold of their tag team titles in this match! Dawson grabs hold of Owens's right leg and he locks him in the FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK! We then see Dash Wilder heading to the top rope and the commentary team reminds us this is what The Revival did to break the leg of Tucker Knight! Wilder gets ready to dive off the top rope... SAMI ZAYN APPEARS AND HITS AN AVALANCHE HURRICARANA TO THE OUTSIDE SAVING HIS PARTNER!

Both Dash Wilder and Sami Zayn land outside the ring with a hard thud but Owens is still trapped in the FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK! Dawson yanks on the right leg of Owens as he tries to force a tap out from KO who reaches for the ropes due to the pain of the hold and he gets a fingertip on it forcing a break! Dawson keeps it on for a few more seconds before letting go of the hold as Owens gets to his feet. Dawson charges in grabbing Owens as he looks for the DDT BUT OWENS COUNTERS AND LOOKS FOR THE POP-UP POWERBOMB BUT HIS LEG GIVES WAY!

Owens falls to the mat as the damage done by the figure four leglock forces him to drop Dawson! Dawson meanwhile smirks as he sees a target as he grabs hold of Owens's leg and connects with a DRAGON SCREW LEG WHIP! We see Wilder is climbing back onto the apron as he looks for the tag and Dawson brings him back into the match! Both men approach Kevin Owens as they stalk him, looking for the second BIG RIG of the match! Dawson looks to send Owens up BUT GETS A STUNNER FOR HIS TROUBLES! He is in a ton of pain as Wilder tries to get him to tap but Owens instead crawls to the ropes! He keeps on crawling as he refuses to tap and reaches out... BUT HE DOESN'T REACH OUT FOR THE ROPES AND REACHES OUT FOR THE TAG BRINGING SAMI INTO THE MATCH! Sami springboards off the ropes and HITS DASH WILDER WITH A MOONSAULT! Sami rolls Dash Wilder over and makes the cover

Sami Zayn holds his head as he wonders what he is going to have to do to end this! He gets back to his feet struggling due to his back as he lifts Dash up and sends him towards his corner of the ring but Dash counters sending Zayn into The Revival's corner instead! Dash charges in but Sami catches him with a SUPERKICK! He sends Wilder into the corner of the ring as he charges in looking for the HULLEVA KICK... DAWSON PULLS WILDER OUT OF THE RING JUST IN TIME!

Sami collides with the corner as The Revival smirk to themselves and slides back into the ring surrounding Sami two on one! Boos ring out as Dawson and Wilder get to their feet, clearly tired after going through a war for the tag team titles tonight. Sami Zayn is still down whilst Kevin Owens crawls over to his partner, wincing in pain due to the damage done to his leg and arm throughout this match.

Byron Saxton: Well I have to give The Revival credit. They found a way to hold onto the tag team titles and they did it fair and square as well.

Corey Graves: Because they are the top guys Byron. They are the best tag team in this division and their opponents as good as they are could not overcome them tonight.

The Revival head up the entrance ramp as they celebrate their victory tonight as they lift their WWE Tag team titles into the air having picked up a big win. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn meanwhile sit in the ring. Both men chat to each other as they share a hug before getting to their feet. Owens is noticeably limping as Sami helps support him as they leave the ring getting a decent reaction from the live crowd.

Byron Saxton: Well you have to wonder what is next for Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn after this defeat tonight.

Corey Graves: You have to think they go to the back of the line when it comes to the tag team titles and the pair might have to go back to focusing on singles glory at this point.

We see Owens and Zayn carry on walking up the ramp, with Owens still in a ton of pain as they mirror Kevin Owens's first night in NXT as some of the crowd expect KO to turn on Sami but he doesn't and they head to the back as we cut elsewhere backstage.

We see Baron Corbin in his black waiter shirt as he has a big smug smirk on his face. He seems to be in what looks like a dark room as the crowd in the arena lets Baron Corbin know what they think of him but I doubt Corbin cares.

Baron Corbin: Twenty-nineteen has been a year where I have looked after other people rather than myself.

He shakes his head as he says that.

Baron Corbin: Whether it was running Kurt Angle’s show for him before putting him out of his misery.

Corbin lets out a smirk as he says that and then has a great big smile on his face.

Baron Corbin: That's right. I ended his career!

Loud boos from the crowd as Corbin soaks in the heat almost feeding off it.

Baron Corbin: Just like I ended Elias's career after my time in the Corporation came to an end!

That gets fewer boos as Corbin smirks before carrying on.

Baron Corbin: But twenty-twenty will be my year. I don't intend to spend the next year focusing on helping others.

He smirks and shakes his head.

Baron Corbin: No twenty-twenty is going to be the year of Baron Corbin.

He stretches his arms out and mocks the crowd as he smirks to himself once again.

Baron Corbin: And it starts at the Royal Rumble!

He smirks as he nods his head.

Baron Corbin: That's right. For the one percent of you with a brain, I will be entering the Royal Rumble and I will be walking into the Wrestlemania main event where I belong.

Corbin then smirks.

Baron Corbin: I'll be seeing you real soon Roman.

Corbin brings the promo to an end as we cut back the commentary team at ringside.

Corey Graves: The WWE Universe might not respect Baron Corbin but the twenty-nine other men in the match are going to have to. Corbin could easily be a dark horse and win the match.

Corey Graves: And he is a former United States Champion and a Money in the Bank winner as well.

A loud pop as Alexa Bliss makes her way out for the penultimate match of the night. She has a smirk on his face and she has that signature Freddie Kruger-inspired metal glove as she walks to the ring ahead of her title match with the Empress. She climbs inside and stares at the ramp, showing no fear when it comes to facing Empress.

Byron Saxton: Alexa Bliss is a five-time Women's Champion and tonight she looks to make it six times.

Corey Graves: The Goddess will go into the hall of fame one day but tonight she faces the Empress who is unlike any other woman in the world Byron and it will be a tough task stopping her. In Asuka's mind, no one is ready for her.

A massive mixed reaction as the Empress Asuka makes her way out. She lifts her WWE Women's title into the air before taking off her usual ring attire and walks down the entrance ramp as she climbs into the ring, ready to face off against Alexa Bliss. The goddess meanwhile looks fired up and ready for a fight tonight. The referee then calls for the bell and this match is underway!

WWE women's title match: Asuka (c) vs Alexa Bliss​

Asuka has a smirk on her face as Bliss takes her time before approaching Asuka as she looks to lock up with the Empress. Asuka grinds Bliss down and locks her in a headlock! Asuka though has a cocky smirk as she brings Bliss down to the mat BEFORE PATTING HER ON THE HEAD AND LETTING GO! Boos from the crowd for the arrogance of Asuka as the Empress back off. Bliss meanwhile gets back to her feet and looks BLISSED OFF! She charges at Asuka looking to lay into her but Asuka dodges her and catches Bliss with a HIP ATTACK!

Asuka isn't just done there as she clobbers her in the corner and lays into Bliss with several clotheslines! Corey on commentary comments that Asuka lured Bliss into making a mistake and now she is going to pay for it! The referee gets to a 4 count before Asuka finally backs away. Bliss doubles over in the corner but Asuka isn't done as she charges in and connects with a SEVERAL HARD KICKS! Asuka is battering Bliss in the corner and giving her a beating before grabbing her by the hair and SENDS HER ACROSS THE RING!

Bliss lands with a hard thud as the referee once again tells Asuka off but she doesn't care as she charges at Bliss hits her with a HIP ATTACK! Asuka then makes a lackadaisical cover 1 2 Bliss kicks out! Asuka isn't done though as she starts peppering Bliss with a series of kicks before going for the SPINNING ROUNDHOUSE KICK... BLISS DUCKS AND TRIPS ASUKA UP! Bliss takes a moment to wince due to the damage she has already taken before jumping on Asuka and wails on her with a series of wild punches!

She lays into Asuka, clearly angry as she gets to get to her feet, and starts laying into her with SEVERAL STOMPS TO THE HEAD! Asuka is now on the ending of a vicious attack and her only defense from the fury is to roll under the bottom rope for the moment! Bliss though isn't done with her as she runs off the ropes and a SUCICDE DIVE WIPING ASUKA! Cheers from the crowd as Bliss gets back to her feet and starts booting Asuka whilst she is on the ring floor. She then grabs hold of Asuka and looks to roll her back inside but ASUKA COUNTERS WITH A SPINNING BACK FIST!

Bliss is staggered by the back fist and Asuka follows it up with a series of kicks peppering Bliss with several of them before sending her into the barricade where she carries on the assault! The referee gets to a 5 count before Asuka rolls in and out of the ring breaking the count as she wants to inflict even more punishment on Bliss. Asuka follows it up with several knee strikes to the gut as she carries on inflicting a ton of pain on Bliss. Alexa fights back and gets a punch off sending Asuka back but the champion responds with a SPIN KICK TO THE HEAD!

Asuka is in total control as she once again grabs Bliss by the hair and sends her back first into the LED APRON! Bliss's back bounces off it as the crowd boo the dominant Asuka who grabs hold of Bliss and rolls her back into the ring. Asuka slides back into the ring stalking Bliss as she lays into her with a series of kicks again really giving Bliss a beating in the ring. Asuka yanks Bliss up off the mat and slams her down with a GERMAN SUPLEX! Asuka though instead of going for a bridge transitions into a CROSS ARMBREAKER! Asuka starts yanking away on the arm as she tries to make the goddess tap out!

Bliss though scrambles to the ropes and grabs hold of it forcing a break! Asuka lets go on the count of 3 as Bliss grabs her arm and winces in pain, as Asuka has dominated this match so far. The champ though is far from done and she starts laying into Bliss by the ropes once again with a series of kicks! The referee has to warn Asuka about her behavior here as he backs her away from Bliss. Alexa gets back to her feet and is struggling as ASUKA GOES FOR THE SPIN KICK BUT BLISS DUCKS AND CATCHES ASUKA WITH A DROPKICK!

Asuka falls to the mat as Bliss gets back to her feet and she looks fired up! She leaps into the air and hits INSULT TO INJURY! Bliss follows up by making the cover 1 ASUKA POWERS OUT! Bliss looks shocked by how quickly Asuka kicked out but follows it up with a PENALTY KICK! Asuka falls back down to the mat and Bliss signals she is going up top! She climbs to the top rope and signals for TWISTED BLISS! She dives off the top rope BUT ASUKA MOVES JUST IN TIME! Boos from the crowd as Bliss lands with a hard thud! Asuka quickly follows it up by locking her in the ASUKA LOCK!

Asuka gets the hold on tight as she wrenches back on the neck of Bliss who is trapped in the hold but Bliss desperately reaches her feet out as she gets her left foot on the bottom rope breaking the hold! Asuka keeps it on till the referee gets to the count of 4 and breaks the hold, dropping Bliss to the mat. Asuka doesn't look happy though as she gets back to her feet and stalks Bliss. Asuka once again lays into Bliss with a series of kicks as she peppers her smaller opponent here before dragging her away from the ropes and hits a HAMMERLOCK DDT! Asuka makes the cover

Bliss kicks out... BUT ASUKA GRABS HOLD OF THE ARM AND LOCKS IN A CROSS ARMBREAKER!​

Even when kicking out, Asuka finds a way to take control again as she wraps her arms tight around the right arm of Alexa Bliss! Asuka is bending the arm behind Bliss's back as Alexa is clearly in a lot of pain! She lifts her arm into the air but SHE STILL REFUSES TO TAP! Bliss looks to crawl to the ropes which prompts Asuka to break the hold and lift Bliss back up off the mat hitting her WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX!

Asuka quickly transitions back into the CROSS ARMBREAKER IN THE CENTRE OF THE RING TWISTING BACK BLISS'S ARM AT AN UNHOLY ANGLE! Bliss is in a ton of pain as she tries to make it to the ropes but she is trapped in the center of the ring! She tries to reach out with her other arm looking for some way out BUT ASUKA WON'T LET GO OF THE HOLD AS WE SEE BLISS'S ELBOW BEND BACKWARDS! Bliss has been in the hold for over a minute now... AND FINALLY SHE TAPS OUT!

Winner via submission and still WWE Women's title: Asuka (8:47)​

Asuka keeps the hold on for a few extra seconds after the bell before finally letting go! The Empress gets to her feet and smugly celebrates her victory tonight as the camera focuses on Alexa Bliss and we can see HER ARM IS BENT COMPLETELY OUT OF SHAPE! Bliss is in a ton of pain as a member of the medical team slides into the ring and looks to check on her.

Byron Saxton: Alexa Bliss gave it her best shot but Asuka was just too dominant tonight and too much for her to overcome!

Corey Graves: Asuka has been on another level these last few months and it's crazy to think about because even before the last couple of months, she has been damn near unbeatable!

Byron Saxton: And look at Bliss's arm!

Corey Graves: I'd call it brave of her not to tap sooner but that might have been a big mistake, Byron.

As the medics check on Alexa Bliss we can see Asuka looking at Bliss and she has evil intentions in mind as she pushes the medics aside! Asuka stands over Bliss who gets her other arm ready to fight back but is clearly in no condition to fight as...

Ember Moon runs out with a kendo stick in hand and Asuka sees her coming, sliding out of the ring immediately! Ember Moon dares Asuka to come back into the ring and try her but Asuka shakes her head as she taps her Women's title. Meanwhile, Moon checks on her tag team partner who thanks her as the medical team go back to work.

Byron Saxton: Well thank god Ember Moon was here or we might have had a repeat of what happened at Survivor Series.

Corey Graves: Asuka is no longer taking any prisoners.

Byron Saxton: It's like something has snapped within her these last couple of months.

Corey Graves: Heavy is the head who wears the crown.

Byron Saxton: Be that as it may we have one match left on tonight's card and it is a big one. Kofi Kingston gets his rematch for the WWE title he was screwed out of.

Corey Graves: But can he beat the WWE Champion Roman Reigns? Let's see how we got here!

Byron Saxton: The New Day wishing Kofi good luck as they look to go two for two tonight. Corey how great would it be to see Big E and Kofi Kingston holding both titles to end tonight's show?

Corey Graves: Big E shouldn't be focusing on Kofi's success. He should be focusing on his own. The New Day needs to learn you can't always rely on the strength of your friends to get through things.

Byron Saxton: Kofi has said himself he wouldn't be here without his friends Corey.

Corey Graves: But they are not going to win him this match are they Byron? Their support will give him the motivation to get the job done but they can't get him the win tonight!

And the loudest boos of the night happen as Roman Reigns slowly makes his way out with the WWE title over his shoulder. He looks at the fans with disgust as he walks down the ramp, staring down his opponent Kofi Kingston ahead of this WWE title match.

Byron Saxton: Roman Reigns won the title with the help of the Corporation at Summerslam. Tonight there will be no help from the Corporation and he will have to do it on his own.

Corey Graves: Roman doesn't care about doing it on his own. He is the head of the table when it comes to his family and tonight he will prove to the WWE Universe why he doesn't care about them.

Byron Saxton: I mean if he didn't care about them, why is he bad-mouthing them all the time?

Corey Graves: Because turnabouts fair play. They booed him for years whilst he did everything to please them. Now? Roman is out for number one from this point onwards.

Roman Reigns steps into the ring as he lifts his WWE title into the air as he stares down his challenger. The referee lifts the WWE title into the air as the usual title match announcements are done and the referee then calls for the bell to get the match underway!

WWE title match: Roman Reigns (c) vs Kofi Kingston​

Once the bell rings Roman goes straight for a lock-up but Kofi avoids it and runs off the ropes as he hits a DROPKICK! Kofi sends Roman back into the ropes and follows it up with a CLOTHESLINE sending Roman to the outside of the ring! Kofi is starting this match with a bang as he runs off the ropes and looks for a SUICIDE DIVE... BUT ROMAN ROLLS AROUND THE RING OUT OF THE WAY! Kofi though sees him do this so climbs to the top rope and hits a VAULTING PLANCHA!

Loud cheers from the crowd as Kofi grabs hold of Roman on the outside and rolls him straight back into the ring. Kofi follows it up with a SPRINGBOARD LEAPING CLOTHESLINE! Kofi makes the cover 1 Roman powers out! Kofi nods his head as he knows he will have to do a lot more to put the champ away. Kofi follows it up with a couple of kicks before running off the ropes... AS ROMAN COUNTERS WITH A SPINEBUSTER! Roman plants Kofi to the mat and makes the cover 1 2 Kofi kicks out!

Roman shows how quickly he can turn a match on its head and now he has a smirk on his face as Kofi grabs his back. Roman picks Kofi off the mat and sends him into the corner of the ring back first! Roman charges in looking for a CLOTHESLINE IN THE CORNER BUT KOFI COUNTERS WITH A PENDULUM PELE KICK OUT OF THE CORNER! Roman staggers back as Kofi does a double jump to the top rope before flying off as he connects with a CROSSBODY AS KOFI HOLDS ON FOR THE COVER! 1 Roman powers out!

Roman once again showing his power but Kofi runs off the ropes and connects with a RUNNING DOUBLE AXE HANDLE! He knocks Roman down before running off the ropes again and goes for a second one... ROMAN CUTS HIM OFF A LEAPING CLOTHESLINE! Sheer power from Roman as he once again takes back control of the match. Roman shakes his head and trash-talks Kofi asking him if the fans are going to help with the pain. He grabs hold of Kofi on the mat and works over him in a nerve hold as he grinds him down on the mat!

Roman looks to take the pace out of the match and slow Kofi down which gets loud boos from the crowd. He then lifts Kofi up off the mat putting him in a full nelson hold before hitting Kofi with an uppercut! Kofi is staggered as Roman follows it up with a NECKBREAKER! Roman makes the cover 1 2 Kofi kicks out! Roman grabs hold of Kofi as he once again taunts the crowd but this time Kofi fires off a series of punches sending Roman backward before hitting a JUMPING CLOTHESLINE!

Roman falls to the mat for a moment as Kofi runs the ropes and hits Roman with a BASEMENT DROPKICK! Kofi makes the cover 1 Roman powers out again! Kofi though doesn't let that affect him as he gives Roman a few chops before leaping into the air and sends Roman into the corner with a HURRICARANA! Roman's back bounces off the turnbuckle as Kofi leaps through the air and hits a STINGER SPLASH! Kofi doesn't stop there though as he lays into Roman with a series of MOUNTED PUNCHES!

Kofi pummels Roman in the corner of the ring as the crowd count along with the punches getting to 10 before they lose count! The referee warns Kofi who jumps off of Roman before charging in and hits him with a series of knee strikes! He fires off 4-5 knee strikes before tossing Roman out of the corner back towards the center of the ring whilst Kofi climbs to the top rope and dives off hitting a DIVING SPLASH! Kofi hooks the legs 1 2 Roman kicks out!

The crowd are starting to get really behind Kofi as he starts to make Roman sweat. Kofi heads to the ropes and hops over as he looks slingshots off them BUT ROMAN CATCHES HIM WITH A SHOULDERBLOCK! Kofi is staggered as Roman follows it up with a HANGMAN'S UPPERCUT causing Kofi to falls down on the ring apron. Roman isn't done as he slides out of the ring and charges around the ring as he hits the DRIVE-BY! Boos from the crowd as Kofi slumps to the floor but Roman has a cocky smirk on his face.

Roman grabs hold of Kofi and slams him back first into the barricade at ringside! Kofi winces in pain as he slides down the barricade as Roman talks some trash to the fans at ringside. The referee meanwhile is on the count of 4 so Roman slides in and out of the ring to break the count. He makes his way back over to Kofi who is trying to get to his feet and knocks him back down to the floor! Roman stands over Kofi and gives him a boot to the stomach as Kofi tries to get some breathing room!

More boos ring out from the live crowd but Roman does not give a damn as he grabs Kofi by the hair and tosses him back into the barricade! Kofi is in a lot of pain as Roman follows up with a CLOTHESLINE AGAINST THE RINGSIDE BARRICADE! Roman gives Kofi a couple of them before picking Kofi up and SLAMMING HIM ONTO THE BARRICADE! Kofi winces in pain as the crowd lays into Roman who enjoys their boos as he lifts Kofi off the barricade and CHARGES INTO THE RINGPOST SLAMMING KOFI'S BACK INTO IT!

Kofi slides down the ring post in a ton of pain as Roman smirks to himself, proud of his handiwork. Roman once again rolls in and out of the ring breaking the count as he hoists Kofi into the air looking to SLAM HIM DOWN ON THE RING APRON... BUT KOFI FIGHTS BACK! He lays into Roman with several mounted punches until Roman lets go! Kofi lands on the ring apron feet first and DIVES OFF CHOPPING ROMAN AS HE LANDS!

Cheers from the crowd as Kofi does his best to fight back but he is noticeably clutching his back which is giving him a ton of pain here. He tries to grab hold of Roman rolls him back into the ring but struggles due to his back. Kofi hearing the referee getting to an 8 count slides in and out of the ring breaking the count! He once again lifts Roman but Roman counters and hits A BELLY TO BACK SLAM ONTO THE RING FLOOR! Kofi's back bounces off the floor as Roman smirks to himself.

Roman yanks Kofi up off the ring floor and rolls him back into the ring whilst mouthing off to the fans in attendance. He rolls back into the ring as well as he presses down on Kofi and makes the cover 1 2 Kofi kicks out! Corey on commentary says every time Kofi kicks out from now on it will be doing even more damage to his back which is what Roman will want. Roman once again kills the pace of the match as he grabs hold of Kofi's shoulder and presses down on him with a NERVE HOLD as he wears down the challenger.

As he is wearing down Kofi, the challenger starts to fight back and looks to break out of the hold but Roman cuts it off with a LARIAT! Kofi does a full flip in the air landing face-first as Roman smirks. The champion grabs hold of Kofi and grabs him by the throat as he taunts his challenger before slamming him down with a FRONT SUPLEX! Roman makes the cover 1 2 Kofi kicks out! Pain is etched on Kofi's face but he refuses to give in that easily to Roman here.

Roman though shakes his head as he tells Kofi it will be easier if he just stays down. Roman looks to lift Kofi off the mat but the challenger fires back with a series of punches as he tries to fend Roman off but once again ROMAN CUTS HIM OFF WITH A LARIAT! Roman is just overpowering Kofi here as he grabs Kofi and slams him onto HIS KNEE WITH A BACKBREAKER! Kofi is once again in a lot of pain as Roman makes the cover pushing his arm onto Kofi's face! 1 2 Kofi kicks out!

Roman though follows it up by making another cover by pressing on his face! 1 2 Kofi kicks out again! Roman smirks almost happen he gets to inflict even more pain to Kofi as he lifts him off the mat and gets him in a CRAVATE POSITION AND STARTS BATTERING HIM IN THE GUT WITH A SERIES OF KNEE STRIKES! He peppers the mid-section of Kofi before transitioning and giving Kofi a knee to the back as well! Kofi is in a ton of pain and Roman is loving every minute of it.

The crowd are laying into Roman and giving him a ton of heat as he lifts Kofi off the mat and locks him in a BEARHUG squashing Kofi's back and ribs! Kofi is in a lot of pain as Roman keeps squeezing the life out of him. Kofi tries to escape from the hold so ROMAN TRANSITIONS INTO A SWINGING GUTWRENCH SLAM! Kofi's back lands with a hard thud as Roman makes the cover again 1 2 Kofi kicks out! The kick-out was a weak one as the damage been done by Roman starts to take its toll.

Roman grabs hold of Kofi and once again starts to stretch his back, yanking him over his knee as he looks to cause Kofi as much pain as possible. Kofi is in a ton of pain as Roman tries to get him to tap out but Kofi refuses to give up! Kofi fires off a few punches as he breaks free of Roman! Kofi gets to his feet as he runs off the ropes and looks for a RUNNING CROSSBODY... BUT ROMAN CATCHES HIM AND SLAMS HIM DOWN WITH A SAMOAN DROP! Roman makes the cover 1 2 Kofi kicks out!

Kofi winces in pain once again as Roman has a cocky smirk and signals he is looking to end this! Roman heads to the corner of the ring, lining up Kofi for the SPEAR... BUT KOFI ROLLS UNDER THE BOTTOM ROPE TO RECOVER! Roman smirks and slowly slides out of the ring as happy to inflict further punishment on Kofi. Kofi stumbles to his feet outside the ring, as ROMAN GOES FOR A BIG BOOT... KOFI DUCKS AND JUMPS OFF THE RING ROPES HITTING A TORNADO DDT TO THE RING FLOOR!

Loud cheers as Kofi fights back! However, he is still in a lot of pain after the beating given to him by the champion during this match. Both men lay on the ring floor as the referee gets to a 4 count. Kofi though gets back to his feet first using the barricade for help before sliding back into the ring. Roman is still down on the outside and this gives Kofi an idea. He climbs to the top rope steadying himself before DIVING OFF AND HITTING A DIVING BOOM DROP TO ROMAN OUTSIDE THE RING!

The crowd goes wild as Kofi is going high risk in his attempt to win back the WWE title! Kofi gets back to his feet and slowly rolls Roman back into the ring, feeding off the cheers from the crowd before following after Roman as he makes the cover 1 2 Roman kicks out! Kofi though is fired up as he looks to keep the pressure up as he gives Roman a few kicks on the mat keeping him down. Kofi runs off the ropes and slides in connecting with a LOW FOREARM SMASH! Kofi hooks the leg 1 2 Roman kicks out!

Kofi doesn't stop there though as he follows up with a STANDING DOUBLE FOOT STOMP! Roman clutches his mid-section as Kofi makes another cover 1 2 Roman kicks out again! Kofi shakes his head knowing he has to do more as he climbs to the top rope taking longer than normal. He waits for Roman to gets back to his feet before connecting with a MISSILE DROPKICK! Kofi though lands on his back and winces in pain before making the cover 1 2 Roman kicks out again!

Kofi gets back to his feet after the kick out and nods to himself as he heads to the corner and now he looks to end this! He starts to clap and the crowd claps along as well as Kofi lines Roman up for TROUBLE IN PARADISE! Roman staggers to his feet as Kofi charges in and GOES FOR TROUBLE IN PARADISE... ROMAN COUNTERS WITH A SPINNING SPINEBUSTER! Loud boos from the crowd as Roman cuts the challenger off and he makes the cover 1 2 Kofi kicks out!

Roman showing just how quickly he can take back control as he gets back to his feet but he is clutching his midsection. He grabs Kofi by the hair, YANKING ON IT getting loud boos from the crowd. The referee warns Roman but the champ doesn't care as he tosses Kofi across the ring with an OVERHEAD BELLY TO BACK SUPLEX! Kofi lands by the ring ropes and tries to get to his feet so Roman hits a BIG BOOT SENDING KOFI OVER THE ROPES TO THE RING FLOOR! Kofi's back lands with a hard thud on the floor as he winces in pain! Roman in the ring meanwhile tells the referee to start counting happy to retain his title via count out!

There is no rest for Kofi however as Roman pounces on him as soon as he slides back into the ring and stomps on his back several times, laying a beating on the challenger! Roman then scoops Kofi up into the air... KOFI COUNTERS WITH A HURRICARANA SENDING ROMAN INTO THE RING ROPES! Roman bounces back off the ropes as Kofi catches him with a LEAPING EUROPEAN UPPERCUT! Roman falls to the mat as Kofi feeds off the crowd and starts to run the ropes hitting Roman with several RUNNING DOUBLE AXE HANDLES!

Kofi gets off 5 of them as he keeps sending Roman back down to the mat as the crowd gets more fired up for each one! Kofi finishes off the sequence as he hits Roman with a ONE-HANDED BULLDOG! Kofi makes the cover 1 2 Roman kicks out! Kofi then gets to his feet as he starts to clap to the delight of the crowd as he gets ready for another BOOM DROP! He runs off the ropes... SUPERMAN PUNCH! Roman catches Kofi on the rebound and drops the challenger! Roman hooks the leg and makes the cover 1 2 Kofi kicks out!

Roman smirks to himself and shakes his head thinking that might have been enough to keep the challenger down (or was he hoping?). Roman however is now in total control as Kofi was rocked by the Superman punch as he grabs hold of Kofi and locks him in a CROSSFACE! Roman is applying as much pressure as possible to the back of Kofi here who he has trapped in the center of the ring! Kofi is in a lot of pain as Roman carries on his trash-talking telling Kofi to let the pain end and give up!

Kofi though refuses to listen to him as he grits his teeth and looks for a way out of the hold! Kofi starts to attempt to crawl to the ropes and he gets about halfway there so Roman pulls back on the hold even harder as he stops Kofi's momentum here. Kofi though finds the strength to carry on crawling to the ropes and nearly makes it to them... SO ROMAN BREAKS IT AND STOMPS ON KOFI'S BACK! Roman grabs Kofi by the legs and drags him back to the center of the ring as he locks the hold in one more time!

Roman is wrenching back not only on the back of Kofi but also on his neck causing the challenger an immense amount of pain. Kofi still though refuses to give up and once again looks to crawl to the bottom rope but Roman has the hold on too tight this time trapping him in the middle of the ring! Roman is yanking back on Kofi as the challenger looks like he might be about to fade... BUT HE PUSHES OFF THE MAT AND PUTS ROMAN IN A PINNING PREDICAMENT!

Roman breaks the hold and kicks out!​

Kofi rolls away upon the kick out, struggling after being in the hold for over a minute. Roman meanwhile gets to his feet and cranks his neck, ready to bring this match to an end. Roman makes his way over to Kofi as he yanks him off the mat and slams him down with a TEARDROP SUPLEX! Roman makes the cover 1 2 Kofi kicks out again! Roman shakes his head as he grabs hold of Kofi and places him onto his shoulders as he looks for a POWERBOMB... BUT KOFI COUNTERS AND HITS A NECKBREAKER!

Both men fall to the mat as Kofi once again has to clutch his back when he lands on it, clearly in a ton of pain. Roman meanwhile slowly gets back to his feet after the neckbreaker as Kofi leaps into the air and SENDS HIM INTO THE CORNER WITH A DROPKICK! Roman's back bounces off the turnbuckle as Kofi runs to the corner and hits him with a EUROPEAN UPPERCUT! He gives Roman a couple more before hitting him with a MONKEY FLIP SENDING HIM BACK ACROSS THE RING!

Kofi then signals to the crowd and they start to chant along as he claps his hands! BOOM BOOM Kofi runs off the ropes and hits the BOOM DROP! Loud cheers from the crowd as Kofi gets back to his feet as he grabs his lower back which is in a ton of pain still but he fights through the pain as he lines the champion up! Roman stumbles back to his feet as Kofi goes for TROUBLE IN PARA... ROMAN CATCHES HIM WITH A THROAT THRUST! Kofi is staggered as Roman scoops him up and HITS A SIT-OUT CRUCIFIX POWERBOMB! Roman holds onto Kofi as he taunts the crowd

Kofi refuses to stay down and Roman looks furious! Kofi meanwhile stays down on the mat with his back in agony at this point as Roman gives him a few kicks to the back on the mat before heading to the corner of the ring! He waits for Kofi to get to his feet as he lines him up for a SPEAR! He charges in BUT KOFI LEAPFROGS OVER HIM! Roman turns back around... TROUBLE IN PARADISE! Kofi drops Roman but he has to clutch his back due to the damage done to it so far for a few seconds before making the cover

Roman upon the kick out just starts pounding on Kofi, furious again that he will not just stay down! The crowd though gets behind Kofi and even starts up a “Kofimania” chant! Roman gets back to his feet though and looks to calm down as he heads to the corner one more time! He lines Kofi up and charges in for the SPEAR... KOFI MOVES JUST IN TIME AS ROMAN COLLIDES WITH THE RING POST! Roman stumbles backward clutching his shoulder... KOFI ROLLS HIM UP!

Roman gets back to his feet and looks angry as he charges at Kofi who leaps over him and turns back around catching him with a JAWBREAKER! Roman is staggered as Kofi jumps off the ropes and hits a SPRINGBOARD TORNADO DDT! Kofi makes the cover 1 2 Roman kicks out! Kofi though thinks for a moment and heads to the ropes. He slowly makes the climb to the top rope as he steadies himself. He then STARTS TO WALK THE ROPES AND DIVES OFF HITTING AN ELBOW DROP! Byron on commentary tells us that is Woods's signature move Limit break! Kofi makes the cover

Roman kicks out at 2.99!​

Kofi is shocked as he thought that would be enough but he will need even more to finish Roman off. Kofi though heads to the corner of the ring once again as he climbs to the top rope as he lines Roman up. Roman staggers to his feet as Kofi dives off LOOKING FOR A FROG SPLASH... BUT ROMAN CATCHES HIM IN MID-AIR WITH A SPEAR! Roman sends Kofi flying across the ring upon impact but quickly hooks the leg desperate to end this as he makes the cover!

KOFI GETS HIS FOOT ON THE ROPES!​

KOFI REFUSES TO DIE! Roman looks legit stunned as the referee points to Kofi's foot on the bottom rope and the champ looks ready to snap. He sits there for a moment as Kofi still hasn't moved. Roman shakes his head and then rolls out of the ring? Roman heads over to the timekeeper's area as he tells the timekeeper and the ring announcer to move as he grabs his WWE title and heads back into the ring! The referee tells Roman to stop but Roman doesn't give a damn!

He lines Kofi up as he gets ready to clock him with the WWE TITLE... BUT THE REFEREE SNATCHES THE TITLE OFF HIM! Roman glares at the referee and thinks about clocking him but thinks better of it as the referee disposes of the title... ALLOWING ROMAN TO PULL SOME BRASS KNUCKLES OUT OF HIS TRUNKS! This was Roman's plan all along! Kofi stumbles to his feet as ROMAN LOOKS FOR A SUPERMAN PUNCH... KOFI COUNTERS AND HITS SOS!!!

ROMAN KICKS OUT!​

Kofi was this close to picking up the win! Both men get to their feet as Roman looks for another SUPERMAN PUNCH BUT KOFI AVOIDS IT AND CONNECTS WITH TROUBLE IN PARADISE! Roman falls backward and ROLLS OUT OF THE RING BEFORE KOFI CAN GRAB HIM! Corey says it was smart of the champion to roll out of the ring but Byron wonders if Reigns was even aware enough to know what he is doing. Kofi rolls out of the ring at this point and looks to bring Roman back into the ring! Kofi struggles to get the deadweight of Roman back into the ring, with his back still in agony but he gets him back inside before dragging him back to the center of the ring and he makes the cover

Roman kicks out again!​

Roman won't die either! Kofi takes a moment to sit on the mat as he wonders what he will need to do to get his WWE title back. He looks to the corner and heads to the top rope one more time as he steadies himself on the top and DIVES OFF... BUT ROMAN MOVES! Kofi though adjusts mid-jump and lands on his feet as he goes for TROUBLE IN PARADISE...

ROMAN DUCKS AND GRABS HOLD OF KOFI LOCKING HIM IN A STANDING GULLITONE CHOKE! Kofi is trapped as Roman holds onto it with all of his might as he looks to choke the life out of his challenger. Kofi tries to fight back and get out of the hold but Roman will not let go! Kofi even gets a kick off but ROMAN REFUSES TO BREAK! Kofi starts to fade as the referee checks on him... AND HIS EYES HAVE GONE SHUT SO THE REFEREE CALLS FOR THE BELL!

Winner via submission and still WWE Champion: Roman Reigns (27:22)​

Roman keeps the choke on for a few extra seconds before dropping the unconscious Kofi to the mat. Roman drops to the mat as the crowd reign down heat on the champion but by hook or by crook, he has held onto his WWE title tonight. Kofi meanwhile is still down and unconscious in the middle of the ring as the referee grabs Roman's title from outside the ring as he passed it to the champion. Roman lifts the title into the air and smirks but it is a small one as he knows how close he came to losing the WWE title tonight.

Corey Graves: You may not like him but he is our WWE champion.

Byron Saxton: Kofi pushed him to the limit tonight and was this close to becoming WWE champion for a second time.

Corey Graves: He nearly repeated the miracle Byron. He was this close to becoming WWE Champion. His heart never gave up but his body did.

Byron Saxton: He has nothing to be ashamed of but once again Roman Reigns stands tall.

Roman Reigns has now left the ring as he stands at the top of the ramp one more time and lifts the WWE title into the air as he gloats to the fans saying “None of your heroes can stop me”. He then heads backstage and behind the curtain as we see Kofi is still down on the mat. He is slowly starting to come to as Kofi looks up at the crowd and realizes what happened.

As this Kofi gets to his feet looking sad we hear a “Thank you Kofi” chant starts up. He has a smile on his face and it gets even bigger as... THE NEW DAY MAKE THEIR WAY OUT! Big E and Xavier Woods join Kofi in the ring and all three men share a hug in the center of the ring getting a loud pop from the crowd. Both men then lift Kofi onto their shoulders as the cheers carry on as the show fades to black.

Not every story has a happy ending but sometimes that's OK...

Paige goes to Rehab!​

Paige has gone to rehab for her cocaine addiction. WWE has sent her to rehab for help regarding this and she will be off TV for the time being. Whilst Paige is off TV Adam Pearce will cover on TV and act as the temporary Raw Commissioner for the time being.

One title match on the Smackdown side of the card has been made official as Liv Morgan vs Asuka for the WWE Women title has been confirmed for the Royal Rumble. Liv Morgan has been in the form of her career these last few months picking up big wins over the Riott Squad members whilst Asuka has been even more dominant than usual. Who will walk out of the Royal Rumble as WWE Women's champion?

Intercontinental and United States title design to be changed soon​

WWE officials are looking to change the design of both belts in the next few months. With the United States title belt being under its current design for the last few years, WWE feels it is time for the title to be updated with a new look. The Intercontinental title meanwhile WWE are looking to update due to the current title being introduced by AEW star Cody Rhodes. WWE feels having the belt associated with one of their rival's top stars is a bad idea and will be updating the title belt in the coming months.

We start Monday Night Raw with Taynara Conti making her way to the ring and she is joined by her tag team partner Xia Li. Both women slap hands with the fans on the way to the ring before they each climb inside as Conti gets ready to face the Women's Universal champion.

Michael Cole: It's Monday Night and you know what that means. Welcome to Monday Night Raw and we are starting the show off with a bang.

Big Show: That's right Michael. We are going to see our Women's Universal champion Ronda Rousey going one on one with Taynara Conti!

Michael Cole: But that's not all on tonight's show. We have three number one contender's matches tonight!

Big Show: We will see a triple threat match as The Usos take on The Good Brothers and The Ungoveables!

Michael Cole: We find out who will face Mustafa Ali at the Royal Rumble for the Cruiserweight title as Tyler Breeze, Lio Rush, Kalisto and Ilja Dragunov face off in a fatal four-way match.

Big Show: And in our main event, we will see Sasha Banks take on Bayley in a steel cage with the winner facing Ronda Rousey at the Royal Rumble for the Women's Universal title!

*BAD REPUTATION*​

Loud boos from the fans as Ronda Rousey makes her way out and she is flanked by the rest of the Real Horsewomen. Ronda has a smug look on her face as she walks to the ring before passing her title to Duke and Shafir saying she won't be long to the pair.

Michael Cole: Well Ronda is feeling confident tonight.

Big Show: Can you blame her? Only one person in the WWE has managed to pin her so far and that's Becky Lynch.

Michael Cole: Conti is no slouch in the ring and also is a judo expert just like Ronda.

Big Show: Whilst she is a judo expert herself, no one is an expert to the level Ronda Rousey is.

Ronda is still acting cocky as she smirks at her opponent. Conti though has her game face on and after some words from her tag team partner Xia Li, she is ready to go. The referee calls for the bell and we are underway!

Match 1: Ronda Rousey w/The Real Horsewomen vs Taynara Conti w/Xia Li​

Match summary: Ronda starts the match off by locking up with Conti and quickly takes her down with a judo throw as Ronda taunts not only the crowd but Conti. This proves to be a big mistake though as Conti uses Ronda's cockiness against her and slams her down with a SERIES OF JUDO THROWS! The crowd goes wild, happy to see the Brazilian rookie show up Ronda Rousey and Conti even manages to get an ARMBAR LOCKED IN! Ronda though is forced to make it to the ropes forcing a break from Conti.

Ronda looks shocked that Conti was able to take her by surprise and that stunned look soon turns to anger. Ronda lays into Conti with a series of hard strikes and at this point starts really laying into Conti. The referee has to warn Ronda on several occasions and nearly disqualifies her for not breaking the count in the corner. Conti though refuses to stay down and starts to fight back hitting Ronda with a variety of judo throws as she continues to surprise Ronda and the fans!

The fans even think Conti might be about to win the match as she hits Ronda with the BRAZILIAN KICK (Wristlock Bicycle kick to a seated opponent)! Ronda kicks out at 2 so Conti grabs hold of Ronda and looks to go for TAYOGOSHI but Ronda escapes and transitions into an ARMBAR! Ronda gets the hold locked on tight as she yanks on Conti's arm! Conti is trapped in the middle of the ring and in the end, she is forced to tap out giving Ronda the hard-fought win!

Winner via submission: Ronda Rousey (9:28)​

Ronda Rousey gets to her feet and lifts her arms into the air, celebrating what was a much tougher victory than she expected tonight. The rest of the Real Horsewomen enter the ring and join their leader whilst Xia Li slides into the ring to check on her friend Conti.

Michael Cole: Ronda picks up the win but Conti gave our Women's Universal Champion one hell of a fight.

Big Show: Conti will have impressed a lot of people tonight but I don't think the Real Horsewomen are done!

Big Show is right as Shayna, Duke and Shafir start to surround Xia Li! Xia Li gets to her feet and knows what is about to happen so attempts to fight back getting a series of kicks off but they soon take her down! Ronda gets to her feet and shouts instructions as Conti tries to help as well but RONDA HITS HER WITH A PIPER'S PIT! Duke and Shafir meanwhile lift Xia Li up and connect with a DOUBLE POWERBOMB PLANTING XIA LI! Loud boos from the crowd as Xia Li and Conti roll out of the ring as Ronda asks for a microphone from someone at ringside.

Ronda Rousey: Bayley and Sasha Banks, I hope you were watching!

The crowd at this point tries to start a “what?” chant which pisses the champion off.

Ronda Rousey: I'm not going to repeat myself for you morons so if you don't hear what I have to say, tough!

When we return from the commercial break, we can see PAUL HEYMAN sat at the head of a table as he looks at the camera. There is no Brock Lesnar with him as the advocate for the Beast gets ready to speak.

Heyman leans forward as he lifts on arm into the air.

Paul Heyman: Most people would have seen you taking down the beast, doing the impossible and making Brock feel human for just a moment... and thought you gained some momentum ahead of the Royal Rumble.

Heyman shakes his head and clearly disagrees.

Paul Heyman: What you did AJ, was play your hand far too early.

Paul now has a sinister smirk on his face as he looks dead ahead at the camera.

Paul Heyman: See a smart man would have gone to each and every person who is entering the rumble match to tell them to team up on Brock. That as soon as Brock Lesnar hits the ring, it's all on one.

Heyman once again shakes his head.

Paul Heyman: At least then your plan would have had a chance of working.

Both women have microphones in their hands as Lacey dabs herself with a handkerchief before tossing it onto the entrance ramp.

Charlotte Flair: Being a Flair it just feels right to have gold around my waist.

Boos from the crowd as Charlotte looks as smug as ever as Lacey looks to gloat too.

Lacey Evans: And being a lady, well it was about time I got some jewelry to match my beauty.

The Queens of WWE pose and get very loud boos from the crowd but neither woman cares as they both climb into the ring and each lift their title belt into the air.

Charlotte Flair: And with this title, I have become the first woman to ever be an NXT, Universal, WWE, and Tag team champion in this company! WOO!

Lacey Evans: I am truly learning from the best.

Audible boos for Lacey kissing Charlotte's ass as the Queen looks to carry on.

Charlotte Flair: And that's why I formed this team with Lacey. The only gold I hadn't won before last night was these titles.

Loud cheers for that line which causes The Queens to roll their eyes as Charlotte carries on.

Charlotte Flair: But with these titles I can appear on Raw, NXT and NXT UK meaning I can challenge for the NXT UK Women's title!

Charlotte Flair: Or maybe I go back to NXT and become a two-time NXT Women's champion.

A massive mixed reaction from the crowd with some wanting the title off Ronda so badly they will accept Charlotte as champion whilst others detest the idea.

Fire and Desire climb into the ring joining the Queens of WWE inside it. Sonya and Mandy both eye up the Women's tag team titles which Charlotte and Lacey clutch a tiny bit tighter.

Sonya Deville: I know you two have been on Smackdown and haven't been around here for a while...

Mandy Rose: But this is our brand and we want our tag team titles back.

Straight and to the point Mandy. Charlotte smirks so Sonya steps forward.

Sonya Deville: And unlike you, we ain't hiding from Ronda.

That touches a nerve as Charlotte is no longer smiling.

Charlotte Flair: The Queen ducks no one.

Sonya Deville: How about you pull your hair up and square up then?

Michael Cole: Well I'm getting word from our stand-in commissioner Adam Pearce that it is official and we will see Sonya Deville take on Lacey Evans next week!

Big Show: Charlotte and Lacey may have the power to turn up on any brand but they will soon learn if you turn up to issue a challenge, someone else can issue you with one as well.

Michael Cole: Agreed Big Show but it remains to be seen if the Queens of WWE can gain all the gold.

When we return from the commercial break, we see Fire and Desire walking through the backstage area when they are stopped as Renee Young looks for an interview.

Renee Young: Sonya, Mandy we heard you issue a challenge to the new tag team champions. We also heard them announce they are entering the royal rumble. Will you two also be entering the match?

Sonya nods as Mandy steps forward to speak.

Mandy Rose: We will be Renee. We have been tag team champions before but neither of us has held the Universal or WWE Women's title before.

Sonya Deville: And getting the chance to get my hands on Ronda Rousey, well that's too good to turn down.

???: Oh really?

The camera pans over as we see The Real Horsewomen all stood there. Sonya Deville gets ready for a fight but Ronda smirks.

Ronda Rousey: You ain't worth my time.

Ronda walks off and leads the Real Horsewomen away. Sonya looks like she is going to lunge for them but Mandy grabs hold of her as she keeps her calm as we cut back to the commentary team at ringside.

Boos from the live crowd as the cocky former Cruiserweight Champion Noam Dar makes his way out. He taunts the crowd and has his usual swagger back as he heads down the entrance ramp and climbs into the ring, even winking at a few of the girls in the front row.

Michael Cole: Noam Dam is a young man and is a former Cruiserweight champion. A win tonight over Drew Gulak might put him back into contention for that title. Hell might even impress Adam Pearce enough to give him a Rumble spot!

Big Show: Dar hasn't appeared since losing the two out of three falls match to Mustafa Ali. It clearly hit the kid hard but tonight he can fight his way back into contention.

*FOR THE BETTER*​

A decent pop from the crowd as Drew Gulak walks to the ring and he looks focused tonight. He steps into the ring as he looks at Noam Dar offering a handshake but the cocky kid refuses.

Michael Cole: Gulak will also be looking to recover after a recent loss having come up short against Lio Rush two weeks ago on the Starrcade pre-show.

Big Show: Well we know Brian Kendrick is in the building. Will he play a factor in this match?

Drew shakes his head and the referee calls for the bell to get the match underway.

Match 2: Drew Gulak vs Noam Dar​

Match summary: Early on in the match, both men grapple with each other. Neither man can gain an edge as they both target the leg of one another but are evenly matched. Dar gets frustrated and that proves to be his undoing as he allows Gulak to grab hold of his arm, as he starts to work over the arm. This makes it harder for Dar to lock on his submissions and in the end, it allows Gulak to lock him in the GU-LOCK! Dar tries to fight out of it but in the end, he is forced to tap out giving Drew the win!

Drew Gulak releases the hold and drops Dar to the mat, who immediately rolls away as Gulak gets his arm raised by the referee and politely nods to the crowd after a job well done here tonight.

Gulak nods to the crowds but the atmosphere soon changes as Brian Kendrick slides into the ring and attacks Gulak from behind! He yanks back on the neck of Drew Gulak as a bunch of referees come out and pulls Brian Kendrick off of Drew Gulak as they try to get things back under control.

When we return from the commercial break, we see Chad Gable the United States Champion marching to the ring and he does not look happy.

Big Show: Well after what Samoa Joe did to Kurt Angle last week, I can't blame him.

Chad snatches a microphone from someone at ringside and turns back around.

Chad Gable: Cut my music. I have something to say.

The people in the back do what Gable requests as the champion climbs into the ring and starts to pace up and down.

Chad Gable: Samoa Joe, you crossed the line last week!

Gable is struggling to keep himself composed and is clearly wound up.

Chad Gable: What you did to my mentor, my friend last week was sickening but that's normal behavior for you isn't it Joe?

Gable stops for a moment and stares right at the camera.

Chad Gable: When you can't get the job done, you resort to attacking people's friends and family!

Gable is 100% correct here but that doesn't make him feel any better.

Gable tosses the microphone down as he paces around the ring and waits for Samoa Joe. As Gable turns around we hear a laugh and a sarcastic clap coming from the titantron as we see Samoa Joe in a t-shirt as he smirks at the camera.

Samoa Joe: Chad I applaud you for finding the ability to stand on your own two feet but what happened to Kurt is your fault!

Joe points towards Gable in the ring as he carries on.

Samoa Joe: You put him in harm's way when you stole what was mine!

Gable shakes his head as he bends down and picks up the microphone.

Chad Gable: Cut the crap Joe and come to this ring right now or I'll come back there and...

Samoa Joe: You are not in a position to make demands Chad! Plus I'm not even in the building tonight.

Loud boos from the crowd who wanted to see these two men go one on one once again.

Samoa Joe: I'm doing what you should be doing and preparing for the Royal Rumble.

Samoa Joe: But I also spoke to Adam Pearce and he knows to give me what I want.

Joe smiles as Gable glares at him.

Samoa Joe: I plan on walking into the Royal Rumble match as United States Champion and I want you to spend the next few weeks thinking about what I did to your hero.

Samoa Joe: Because what I did to him, is just a taste of what I plan to do to you to get my title back!

Joe walks off as we cut back to Chad Gable in the ring who looks furious and storms off elsewhere, knowing he has to wait three weeks to get his hand on Samoa Joe after what he did to his hero.

Michael Cole: Well some big announcements were made just now.

Big Show: That's right Michael. Not only are Samoa Joe and Chad Gable entering the Royal Rumble but we will see the United States title on the line in a Starrcade rematch in three weeks!

Michael Cole: And we saw what Joe did to Angle after his loss at Starrcade, will he carry through with his threat doing whatever it takes to become United States champion again?

Big Show: Speaking of people coming off a big loss, Charly Caruso tried to get a word with Seth Rollins after a big loss to Andrade last week. And well, you can see for yourself.

Seth composes himself before walking off as he kicks a chair over and storms off elsewhere backstage leaving Charly stood there as we cut back to the commentary team in the present.

The camera then cuts backstage as we see the Universal Champion ANDRADE CIEN ALMAS walking down a hallway towards the ring. He is also noticeably flanked by Zelina Vega and Dominik Dijakovic as Zelina and Andrade have massive smirks on their face. Dijakovic meanwhile stays stoic.

Big Show: However up next we are going to hear from our Universal Champion Andrade Cien Almas. Don't go anywhere!

When we return from the commercial break, there are a lot of boos but there is a decent amount of cheers as Andrade Cien Almas makes his way out in a crisp suit. Dominik Dijakovic is also dressed to impress and as always Zelina Vega is in a stunning dress as she walks to the ring leading two of her clients down the ramp.

Michael Cole: Last week Andrade Cien Almas faced arguably his biggest test as Universal Champion when he took on Seth Rollins and he passed it with flying colors.

Big Show: Zelina Vega knew her client could do the job and you have to wonder if Aleister Black can defeat Andrade Cien Almas.

Michael Cole: He has done it before, ending Andrade's title reign in NXT and Zelina will certainly remember that.

Big Show: She did try everything she could to stop Black from getting a shot, putting Dijakovic in his way but Black refuses to be denied.

Zelina Vega now has a microphone as Andrade stands by her side with Dijakovic stood behind the pair of them as Zelina gets ready to address the crowd.

Zelina Vega: I told the world that Andrade would beat Seth Rollins. And look what he did.

Andrade lifts his Universal title into the air getting a mixed reaction due to how people feel about Seth Rollins.

Zelina Vega: When he won this title, people said he didn't deserve it and only won because he pounced on a weakened Rey Mysterio.

Andrade nods as Zelina smirks.

Zelina Vega: Since then Andrade has pinned AJ Styles, pinned Rey Mysterio and he has pinned Seth Rollins!

A mixed reaction from the live crowd as Zelina is telling the truth.

Zelina Vega: Andrade with my guidance became the king of NXT and now he is the king of Monday Night Raw!

Andrade gestures for the mic for a moment which Zelina gives him.

Andrade Cien Almas: You can start to call me Rey Andrade.

Loud boos from the crowd as Andrade grins whilst Dijakovic in the background rolls his eyes. Andrade passes the microphone back to Zelina who looks to carry on.

Zelina Vega: And Andrade will prove himself as the king of Raw when he beats Aleister Black at the Royal Rumble.

Boos from the crowd as Andrade nods and shouts off-mic in Spanish he will beat him. Zelina though carries on.

Zelina Vega: Some of you might be wondering where the rest of the Ungoveables are. Well, they are getting ready to carry on our domination.

Zelina has a smirk.

Zelina Vega: Ilja Dragunov will become the number one contender for the Cruiserweight title and make up for what happened at Starrcade whilst Cesaro and Nakamura will become number one contender's for the tag team titles.

Zelina noticeably looked a little annoyed with Ilja coming up short against Ali at Starrcade.

Zelina Vega: And that brings me to the Royal Rumble.

Dijakovic perks up at this point as he punches his other hand. Andrade gives him a slightly worried side-eye as Zelina carries on.

Zelina Vega: Where one of Cesaro, Ilja Dragunov, or Dominik Dijakovic will win and go on to Wrestlemania to fight whoever holds the WWE title.

Dijakovic leans over and asks for the microphone which Vega gives him.

Dominik Dijiakovic: I'll be seeing you real soon Roman.

The crowd are unsure how to react to that as they hate both Dijakovic and Roman as Zelina takes the microphone back and looks to carry on when...

*ROOT OF ALL EVIL*​

A loud pop from the live crowd as Aleister Black walks out. None of the usual entrance tonight as he takes a seat at the top of the entrance ramp cross-legged as he looks at Andrade, Dijakovic, and Zelina in the ring.

Aleister Black: Andrade, I just want to congratulate you on your victory last week.

Andrade looks wary as Black puts his hand up.

Aleister Black: I know it might sound a bit weird but I wanted to fight whoever was the better man and last week it was you.

Andrade meanwhile has taken the microphone from Zelina and points at Black at the top of the entrance ramp.

Andrade Cien Almas: Of course I was the better man. You should have been praying for Rollins to win.

Black smirks which is rare for him.

Aleister Black: Andrade we've done this before. I was the one who ended your run in NXT. I was the one who took the title from you back then.

Andrade looks furious as Black gets cheers from the crowd. Zelina at this point steps forward taking the microphone.

Zelina Vega: The past is the past Aleister...

Aleister Black: And those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

Vega looks angry having been cut off but carries on anyway.

Zelina Vega: Andrade has learned. He has the best wrestlers in the world around him, learning from them and using their skills to get better. Which you learned first-hand at Backlash.

Andrade smirks as Black now looks annoyed shaking his head.

Aleister Black: You're right. He did beat me at Backlash but that's because I let my anger distract me. I let my vendetta towards Brock get the better of me. I won't make the same mistake twice.

Black gets to his feet and gets ready to leave. Zelina smirks.

Zelina Vega: Where you going Aleister? We ain't done here.

Aleister shakes his head.

Aleister Black: You may not be done but I am. However, I have one last thing to say to Andrade.

Andrade pays attention as Black looks at him dead in the eyes.

Aleister Black: You will never be a king if you constantly rely on your queen and her pawns.

Black makes his exit as Andrade looks angry and so does Dijakovic who looks to follow after Black but Zelina convinces him otherwise. Andrade meanwhile shakes his head and mutters something in Spanish.

Michael Cole: Strong words from the champion and the challenger here.

Big Show: Both men have a rivalry dating back to their time in NXT and neither man will want to lose to the other at the Rumble.

Michael Cole: It's a battle of the future at the Royal Rumble with the Universal title on the line.

Big Show: But the show must go on. Up next after the commercial break, we will see Mia Yim go one on one with Natalya. Don't go anywhere!

Big Show: A win tonight will give them momentum ahead of the Rumble which could prove vital.

A polite pop from the live crowd the Divas of Doom make their way out to the ring. Only Natalya is dressed to compete as she climbs into the ring as she smiles at the crowd. Mia meanwhile looks at her dismissively as the referee calls for the bell to get the match underway!

Match 3: Mia Yim vs Natalya w/Beth Phoenix​

Match summary: Both women lock up in the center of the ring to start the match with both of them being fairly evenly matched. Natalya though starts to take control of the encounter early on as she starts to work over Mia Yim. Mia Yim is struggling and needs to reach for the ropes on a few occasions to survive the assault from Natalya. Natalya breaks early being a good sport as Mia Yim clutches her leg. The referee comes over to check on her as does Nattie... BUT MIA IS FAKING AND CHEAP SHOTS NATALYA BEFORE SHE ROLLS HER UP! Mia hooks the tights too and steals the win!

Mia Yim as soon as the bell rings lets go of the tights and slides out of the ring as she flees up the entrance ramp before Beth Phoenix can get her hands on her. Mia Yim smirks to herself as she heads up the entrance ramp whilst the Divas of Doom argue with the referee but his decision is final.

Michael Cole: Mia Yim steals the victory!

Big Show: And I doubt the Divas of Doom will be happy. We know what Beth's temper is like.

In the ring the Divas of Doom both point at Mia Yim who smirks at the top of the ramp happy with her win tonight as we cut elsewhere backstage.

And we see the stand-in commissioner Adam Pearce backstage working on his computer. He seems to be confused by something on the screen as we suddenly hear a knock on the door.

Adam Pearce: Come in.

The door opens and we see The Street Profits walk into the room in their signature red tracksuits. Neither man looks happy as they walk towards Adam.

Adam Pearce: What can I do for you two?

Angelo Dawkins: We came here for one thing only.

Montez Ford: We want the smoke.

Adam looks confused as he looks at the pair.

Adam Pearce: I mean I don't smoke but I get someone to get you some...

Montez Ford: Whoa whoa whoa.

Angelo Dawkins: We don't do that. C'mon Adam.

Montez Ford: There's kids watching.

Angelo Dawkins: C'mon Adam.

Montez Ford: If you're going to replace Paige, you need to understand us. You need to know what makes the Street Profits work.

Adam seems a little confused but nods going along with Montez. Angelo lightly taps him in the arm.

Montez Ford: We want to fight EC3 and his sidekick Drake Maverick.

Adam Pearce: OK. Consider it done guys. Next week you two will take on EC3 and Drake Maverick.

Adam Pearce offers the pair a handshake as they go to fist bump him leading to an awkward moment where Adam shakes their fists. Montez and Angelo laugh as Angelo puts an arm around Adam.

Angelo Dawkins: You'll get it soon Adam, don't worry about it.

The Street Profits then leave the office as Adam smiles and shakes his head as he looks to get back to business as we cut to a commercial break.

When we return from the commercial break, we can see Ariya Davari stood in the ring ready for action. The crowd are giving him a few boos but most of them don't care as they wait for the person who will be wrestling him.

Loud cheers from the live crowd Rey Mysterio makes his way out and as has been the tradition for the last few weeks, he is joined by his son Dominik! Both men walk to the ring with Rey touching masks with a few of the kids on the way to the ring.

Michael Cole: Big Show, your good friend Rey looks to pick up a win and get back in form ahead of the Royal Rumble.

Big Show: Rey Mysterio has done it before. Hell, he has done it from the very beginning of the match before and won. He has to be one of the favorites.

Rey Mysterio steps into the ring as Ariya Davari looks at him dismissively whilst the referee calls for the bell to get the match underway!

Match 4: Rey Mysterio w/Dominik Mysterio vs Ariya Davari​

Match summary: I ain't going to waste your time here. Rey picks up the win in quick fashion as he puts away Ariya Davari with the 619!

Rey Mysterio gets to his feet and he is soon joined inside the ring by his son Dominik Mysterio. Dominik lifts his arm into the air as he celebrates the win tonight.

Michael Cole: Well it looks like he has shaken off the cobwebs after losing to Andrade.

Big Show: No one has more heart than Rey Mysterio. No matter how many times you knock him down, he keeps getting back up and Andrade better watch his back cause I can see Rey winning the Rumble!

The Mysterios carry on their celebrations in the ring as we cut elsewhere backstage.

And we see Rusev stood next to the Ravishing Russian Lana. Rusev looks focused as Lana smiles as she looks at the camera.

Lana: My husband last week showed everyone why he will crush anyone who gets in his way.

Rusev nods as his wife does the crush motion to the camera.

Lana: Dolph Ziggler is good but Rusev is great. And my husband has spent too long with another person when he could be winning gold by himself.

Rusev steps forward as he looks at the camera.

Rusev: I don't have a problem with you Dolph but the only partner I want is my hot flexible wife.

Rusev and Lana give each other a knowing look before carrying on.

Rusev: When I step into the ring, I want to crush people.

Lana: And that's why my husband is entering the Royal Rumble!

To quote DJ Khalid: Another one!

Rusev: See it's been a long year but twenty-twenty is going to be my year. My new year resolution is to win the Royal Rumble.

Lana: And it's going to happen on Rusev day!

We hear the fans in the arena start to chant Rusev day as we cut to a commercial break.

When we return from the commercial break, we see EC3 is relaxing backstage as Drake Maverick can be seen on his phone taking care of business for him. We then see Charly Caruso walk over to the pair looking for an interview.

Charly Caruso: EC3, Drake Maverick. I just wanted to get your thoughts on Adam Pearce's announcement earlier tonight.

EC3 takes out his AirPods and looks at Charly confused before turning to Drake.

EC3: Announcement? What is she on about Drake?

Drake puts away his laptop as he turns to EC3.

Drake Maverick: Oh yes EC3. He has made a match for us against the Street Profits.

EC3 looks perplexed and annoyed.

EC3: When were you planning on telling me that Drake?

Drake Maverick: Well um um you said you didn't want to be disturbed whilst relaxing so I...

EC3: Just shut up and go get the yacht ready.

He tosses some keys to Drake who heads off elsewhere as EC3 turns to Charly.

EC3: My thoughts on facing The Street Profits?

EC3 smirks a little bit.

EC3: It's time for me to get victory after victory after victory after victory. I started it when I beat Angelo Dawkins two weeks ago and we will beat the Street Profits putting ourselves in line for the tag team titles.

EC3 walks off bringing the interview to an end as we cut back to the commentary team at ringside.

Michael Cole: Well another win for EC3 would put him and Drake Maverick in contention for a tag team title shot but The Street Profits are not an easy team to beat.

Big Show: The Street Profits will be smarting still after their loss to the Authors of Pain but a win over EC3 and Drake Maverick could get their tag team titles pursuit back on track.

A massive mixed reaction from the live crowd as AJ Styles makes his way out and he is flanked by The Good Brothers as the Club walk to the ring. They tease too sweeting the crowd but pull away mocking the fans for even thinking they would too sweet them as they head into the ring.

Michael Cole: It looks like we are going to hear from AJ Styles and the rest of the Club ahead of their tag team titles number one contender's match tonight.

Big Show: You would think AJ would be in hiding after Paul Heyman's warning earlier tonight but it looks like he ain't afraid.

Michael Cole: Is he brave or stupid Big Show?

Big Show: Probably both.

AJ and the Good Brothers are all in the ring now with microphones in hand as AJ steps forward looking to speak.

AJ Styles: I've had people telling me backstage that I'm a marked man. That I should be in hiding because of what Paul Heyman said earlier tonight.

AJ shakes his head and laughs.

AJ Styles: I think the funniest part of that is people still take Paul Heyman seriously.

AJ is shooting here.

AJ Styles: Brock, I ain't scared of you. I've faced you in this ring before and I know if we met again I'd beat you!

AJ sending out the challenge to Brock Lesnar.

AJ Styles: But as I said, as soon as you step into that ring at the Rumble everyone is going to focus on taking you out!

AJ smirks and carries on.

AJ Styles: The funny is Brock, even if they didn't team up to stop you I would stop you by myself because no one is stopping me from winning the Royal Rumble!

A massive mixed reaction with some into AJ winning the rumble whilst others boo the leader of the Club.

AJ Styles: And unlike Seth Rollins, when I say I'm going to win I do without cheating!

AJ couldn't resist a dig at Seth Rollins as once again he gets a mixed reaction.

AJ Styles: I mean who in the Rumble match is going to stop me.

Good Brothers behind AJ mouth no one as AJ carries on.

AJ Styles: Braun Strowman, Samoa Joe, Rusev, Randy Orton, Baron Corbin I've beaten them all before!

Once again the Good Brothers back AJ up and mouth that he has beaten all of them!

AJ Styles: Drew McIntyre? Just remember that the brand you are on is the house that AJ Styles built!

A massive pop from the crowd for the mention of Drew and a few fans even chant along with AJ's former catchphrase.

AJ Styles: Chad Gable? You may be a champion but I would suggest sticking to your battle with Joe rather than battling the Phenomenal one!

Once again a pretty decent reaction from the crowd for the United States Champion as AJ carries on his tirade.

AJ Styles: Rey Mysterio. I suggest you get your son to turn away from the ring whilst I'm kicking your ass.

And that line gets loud boos from the crowd but AJ doesn't care.

AJ Styles: And that brings me to the Ungoveables who are about to get their ass kicked by my brothers Karl and Luke. Ya see...

A mixed reaction once again as The Ungoveables members Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura make their way out lead by Zelina Vega and Dominik Dijakovic! Zelina has a microphone in her hand as she leads her men to the ring.

Zelina Vega: AJ, AJ, when are you going to learn that you don't measure up to my clients. I would have thought you learned your place when Andrade pinned you at Survivor Series but clearly someone needs to knock some sense into you.

A mixed reaction once again as The Ungoveables are stood in the ring ready for a fight with The Club.

AJ Styles: It was a fatal four-way. One on one I'd beat Andrade as I did at Armageddon!

Cesaro asks Zelina for a microphone which she gives him.

Cesaro: AJ, you talk all this trash but how about I give myself a warm-up before beating these two up!

The Good Brothers at this point step forward ready for a fight but Dijakovic and Nakamura step forward too. There is a lot of tension between the groups once again as...

A loud pop as The Uso make their way out and heads down the ramp as both groups turn to face the duo as they head to the ring and we see a referee making his way out as well.

Michael Cole: Well I'm getting word from Adam Pearce that the tag team titles number one contender's match will take place after the commercial break. Don't go anywhere!

Match 5: Number one contender's triple threat match: The Usos vs The Ungovenables (Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura) vs The Good Brothers​

Match summary: When we return from the commercial break the match is already underway with AJ Styles and Zelina Vega sat on commentary. Dominik Dijakovic meanwhile is stood next to Zelina acting as sort of a bodyguard for her. The commentary team also confirm the title shot will be in two weeks. In the ring, each team has a man legal with all 3 teams exchanging moves and going after each other. There is a lot of aggression especially between the Ungoveables and The Good Brothers after their rivalry a few months ago. The Usos almost kind of get forgotten by the two groups and this in the end proves to be the downfall of the two teams.

Whilst Cesaro and Luke Gallows are battling, Jimmy Uso who got knocked out of the ring slides into the corner and tags in Jey. Cesaro attempts to get Gallows up for the NEUTRALISER but struggles. Karl Anderson climbs in looking to stop him but Nakamura takes him out as they fall out of the ring. Cesaro ends up hitting it but the Usos catch him as he gets up with a DOUBLE SUPERKICK TO THE BACK OF HIS HEAD! Cesaro rolls out of the ring as Jey makes the cover and Jimmy dives out of the ring stopping Karl and Shinsuke from breaking it up giving the Usos the win!

Winner via pinfall: The Usos (10:26)​

Loud cheers from the crowd as Jimmy slides back into the ring and joins his tag team partner as they celebrate a big victory tonight and are now one match from taking back the tag team titles.

Michael Cole: And it looks like it will be The Usos vs The Authors of Pain in two weeks.

Zelina Vega: This is your boy's fault!

AJ Styles: My boys? Why didn't Cesaro, Shinsuke or that lummox there break it up!

Dijakovic at this point glares at AJ who puts his hands up but carries on bickering with Zelina on commentary as we cut to a commercial break with The Usos still celebrating their win in the ring.

When we return from the commercial break we get treated to a video that hypes up Braun Strowman ahead of the Royal Rumble. We get to see his amazing feats of strength through the years with him crushing Roman, flipping cars, pulling down shit with grappling hooks, him getting dogpiled by tons of people and pushing them off him, eliminating six men in an elimination chamber match before we see the Monster Among Men stood facing the camera looking angry.

Braun Strowman: The Royal Rumble, twenty-nine men are going to get these hands!

We then get a few clips of Braun versus Bobby Lashley and some other moments of destruction caused by Braun throughout the years before the package coming to an end as we see Braun Strowman stood towering over the camera.

We then cut to the interview area backstage as Renee Young is stood ready for an interview.

Renee Young: It's been an exciting edition of Monday Night Raw and earlier tonight we found the new number one contender's for the World tag team titles: The Usos.

Jimmy and Jey walk into the shot with both men smiling and in a good mood.

Renee Young: It's not been the easiest year for you two with Jimmy having to spend months on the shelf due to injury.

Jey Uso: That's right Renee. I've had to spend most of my year wrestling on my own. Something I've never done before but it has made me stronger and therefore has made us stronger.

Jimmy Uso: My brother is right. Whilst I was locked up in my own Uso penitentiary, he's been out here fighting on his own or fighting with people who ain't his brother. But now? We're ready to take out spot at the top of the tag team division back.

Jey Uso: Authors of Pain. I know you can feel the hairs on the back of your neck.

Jimmy Uso: It's not paranoia it's the U-

THE AUTHORS OF PAIN APPEAR AND CLOBBER THE USOS FROM BEHIND! The tag team champions start giving the Usos a beating and the challengers to the tag team titles struggle to fight back having already gone through one match tonight. Akam and Rezar pick both of the Usos up as they send them into the walls backstage with a hard thud! The Usos' backs bounce off the walls before Akam grabs Jimmy and LAWN DARTS HIM INTO THE WALL! Jimmy is dazed as Rezar looks to lift Jey up but he slips out and hits a SUPERKICK rocking Rezar! Jey goes for one on Akam but he ducks and wipes him out with a CLOTHESLINE!

Jey falls to the floor as Akam checks on Rezar and they then eye up a production crate. Each man grabs a Uso each as they give them a few hard strikes before lining them up with the crate. They lift them into the air and clink them together as they hit the SUPER COLLIDER ONTO THE PRODUCTION CRATE! At this point we finally see a swarm of referees lead by Adam Pearce as they look to restore some order. The Authors of Pain at this point finally back off, happy with the damage they have done as a bunch of medics appear to check on the Usos as we cut to a commercial break.

When we return from the commercial break we cut to the commentary team who are sat at their usual spot at the top of the entrance ramp.

Michael Cole: As you saw before the commercial break, The Usos who had just become the number one contender's for the World tag team titles were attacked by the current champions The Authors of Pain.

Big Show: The good news we are getting from the medical team backstage is the Usos will still be able to compete in two weeks but there is no way they'll be one hundred percent going into that match.

*GO HARD*​

A loud pop as we hear the music for the Cruiserweight Champion Mustafa Ali who makes his way out as he lifts his title into the air before heading to the commentary desk. He takes a seat next to Michael Cole and Big Show grabbing a headset as well.

Michael Cole: Hello Ali, thank you for joining us tonight.

Mustafa Ali: It's my pleasure, Michael.

Big Show: It looks like you want to see who you will face for the Cruiserweight title first hand.

Mustafa Ali: That's right Big Show. I want to see who will be my next challenger is. The Cruiserweight division is full of great talent and whilst my dream match is against Rey Mysterio, I still want to see what the rest of the division offers.

*MMMGORGEOUS*​

Tyler Breeze makes his way out first and he is joined by his tag team partner Fandango who has his selfie stick in hand. Breeze poses on the ramp and even goes over to a few of the fans as they post with Tyler Breeze.

Michael Cole: Breeze is yet to hold gold in his long tenure in WWE but he has cut some weight to make himself eligible for the Cruiserweight division.

Big Show: And from personal experience cutting weight ain't easier.

Mustafa Ali: Agreed Big Show. Tyler Breeze may not look like someone who works hard but he constantly puts work in trying to get better at everything he does. He would be a tough challenge if I had to fight him for this title.

*I CAME TO COLLECT*​

Boos from the crowd as the cocky Lio Rush makes his way out to the ring as he starts mouthing off to the fans. He walks down the ramp and can be heard shouting “Bobby you better be watching. I'm about to prove myself”. Outside the ring, we can see Breezeango talking and they are clearly unimpressed with Lio Rush's attitude.

Michael Cole: Lio Rush is out to prove himself Ali and some would say that makes him dangerous.

Mustafa Ali: Being Cruiserweight Champion isn't about proving you’re worthy to be someone's manager. It's about being the best wrestler under two hundred and five pounds. It's about being a champion people can look up to, not someone's lap dog.

Big Show: Strong words Ali.

Mustafa Ali: I think Lio is talented but this title isn't a prop that he can show off to Lashley like a gucci belt. This is earned in that ring by being the best Cruiserweight wrestler in the world.

*FEARLESS WARRIOR*​

A decent reaction from the live crowd and he even manages to get a fewLucha chants from the live crowd here. He slaps hands with the kids in the front row including the ones in Rey Mysterio masks and jumps into the ring joining his fellow Cruiserweights inside.

Michael Cole: Kalisto is the only former Cruiserweight champion in this match. How would feel facing Kalisto?

Mustafa Ali: Kalisto is a guy in WWE who is often slept on. A two-time United States champion as well as being a former Cruiserweight Champion.

Big Show: How would you counter his Lucha skills, Ali?

Mustafa Ali: C'mon Big Show, I need to keep some secrets.

Loud boos from the crowd as once again Zelina Vega makes her way out and she is joined by the last man in this match, Ilja Dragunov. The Mad Russian has a wild smirk on his face before sprinting down the entrance ramp and jumps over the ropes stepping into the ring ready for this match.

Michael Cole: Ilja Dragunov gave you a tough challenge at Starrcade. How would you feel about facing him again?

Mustafa Ali: I'd welcome it. Ilja Dragunov may be under Zelina's thumb but he is one of the best Cruiserweights in the world and someone I'd enjoy fighting in this ring again.

Ilja Dragunov climbs into the ring ready as Zelina Vega this time chooses to stay at ringside as the referee calls for the bell to get this match underway!

Match 6: Number one contender's fatal 4-way challenge match: Tyler Breeze w/Fandango vs Lio Rush vs Kalisto vs Ilja Dragunov w/Zelina Vega​

Match summary: This ends up being a frantic affair with all 4 men showing off what they can do in the ring. Kalisto and Lio Rush fly about the ring like only those two can whilst Ilja looks to grind people down with a series of hard chops and strikes. Tyler Breeze meanwhile holds his own and tries to keep things grounded using his size advantage over the rest of the Cruiserweights to overpower them and take control of the match. During the match, we can hear Ali putting over all 4 men though he still criticizes Lio Rush's reasons for going for the Cruiserweight title. As the match gets towards the closing stages Lio Rush gets wiped out with a TORPEDO MOSCOW by Ilja Dragunov.

Ilja looks to go for the cover but Tyler Breeze slides into the ring as he clocks Ilja with a SUPERMODEL KICK! Ilja falls to the mat whilst Lio rolls out of the ring. Breeze makes the cover but Ilja kicks out! Zelina breathes a sigh of relief having made her way over to break the cover and Fandango notices this too. Breeze shakes his head and grabs Ilja getting ready for the UNPREITTIER... BUT ILJA COUNTERS AND HITS A SIT-OUT POWERBOMB! Ilja makes the cover but Kalisto breaks it! Kalisto saves the match in the nick of time as Breeze rolls of the ring.

He starts to pepper the Mad Russian with a few strikes but Ilja fires back a few punches sending Kalisto into the ropes BUT HE BOUNCES OFF THEM AND HITS THE SALIDA DEL SOL! Kalisto has to take a few seconds to recover and that gives Zelina time to pull ILJA OUT OF THE RING! Loud boos from the crowd as Zelina checks on her client and Kalisto goes to confront them. Meanwhile, Breeze and Rush slide back into the ring and start to tussle. Outside the ring, Zelina goes to slap Kalisto but FANDANGO STOPS HER! They argue outside which distracts Breeze for a moment as Rush SPRINGBOARDS OFF THE BOTTOM ROPE AND HITS A STUNNER! Rush makes the cover as Kalisto sees it too late and Lio Rush picks up the shock win!

Winner via pinfall: Lio Rush (9:02)​

Boos from the crowd as Lio Rush gets to his feet and we see Kalisto slide into the ring, falling just short of breaking the cover. Outside the ring, we can see Fandango realize what happened and Zelina shakes her head looking at Fandango with disgust.

Michael Cole: Well he may not be your personal choice of opponent but Lio Rush picked up the win tonight!

Mustafa Ali: Well looks like I'm going to have to prove to him it takes more than looking to prove a point to someone to be a champion.

Lio Rush starts to head up the entrance ramp and quickly looks at his opponent at the Royal Rumble Mustafa Ali. He makes the belt motion and talks a bunch of trash as Mustafa remains unimpressed as he lifts the title belt into the air. Meanwhile back at ringside, we can see Zelina Vega and the now back on his feet Ilja Dragunov still arguing with Kalisto and Fandango as we cut to a commercial break.

When we return from the commercial break, we see Mojo Rawley is stood backstage as he paces up and down in a dark room. He then turns to the camera and looks pretty wound up.

Mojo Rawley: Bo, you had no right to get involved in my match against Axel!

He shakes his head and looks to be in total disbelief at what happened.

Mojo Rawley: That was my chance to get back on track. To get back to where I belong!

Mojo slams the table and looks at the camera.

Mojo Rawley: Bo, I want you in a match. I want you to “bo-lieve” you have a chance so I can kill any hype that you have.

Mojo looks to walk off but stops and looks at the camera.

Mojo Rawley: Hell you can bring your friend too, I'll make sure I kill his hype too.

Mojo at this point is happy to walk off, clearly in an angry mood as we cut elsewhere backstage.

We see Charly Caruso stood backstage as she is ready for an interview.

Charly Caruso: Tonight has been an action-packed edition of Monday Night Raw but right now we have a man who has been one of the top stars in WWE throughout the last decade. Please welcome my guest at this time Dolph Ziggler.

Ziggler walks onto the interview set and looks kind of down/upset as he approaches Charly Caruso ready for the interview.

Charly Caruso: A tough loss to Rusev last week, someone you had been teaming with due to your issues with The Ungoveables. How are you feeling?

Ziggler sighs before answering the question.

Dolph Ziggler: Yeah I came up short against Rusev. But I've kind of gotten used to that the last years.

Ziggler shakes his head.

Dolph Ziggler: Charly, I really thought I hit a turning point when I went to NXT and won the North American title. But I lost within a month to Roderick Strong. I just can't seem to break this rut my career has been in the last few years.

Ziggler runs his hands through his hair as he looks unsure what else to do.

Charly Caruso: Can I ask what's next for Dolph Ziggler?

Dolph looks to answer the question but before he can say another word we see an angry Danny Burch walk into the shot!

Danny Burch: Why are you interviewing him when you should be asking me about my pal Oney?

Charly gives him an annoyed look as Ziggler shakes his head but Danny Burch carries on his rant.

Danny Burch: Oney Lorcan is in the hospital thanks to The Usos committing a cheap shot on him.

Ziggler rolls his eyes and looks done with this but Danny Burch carries on.

Danny Burch: And I promise that there will be swift justice on The Usos. Where I come from, on the streets of London if you put one of our guys in the hospital I will put you in the...

Dolph Ziggler: Are you done yet?

Ziggler looks completely bored by this as Danny Burch gives him a death glare. Ziggler though doesn't back down and instead signals for Danny Burch to scram.

Dolph Ziggler: Kid why don't you get your own mic time?

Danny Burch looks like Ziggler just spat in his face and gets right in his face. Ziggler though doesn't seem to care and stands his ground.

Danny Burch: You want to run your mouth and big-league me? I'll see you in the ring next week.

Danny shoulder checks Ziggler and walks off as Ziggler shakes his head and leaves as well clearly not feeling it after his recent loss to Rusev as we cut back to the commentary team at the top of the entrance ramp.

Michael Cole: I've just gotten word from Adam Pearce that next week we will see Dolph Ziggler and Danny Burch go one on one.

Big Show: Ziggler seems to be going through some confidence issues and I could see Danny Burch pulling off a massive upset next week.

The camera then cuts to the ring as the steel cage starts to be lowered!

Michael Cole: Well it looks like it is time for our main event. When we return from the commercial break, we will see Sasha Banks take on Bayley to see who will fight Ronda Rousey at the Royal Rumble for the Women's Universal title! Don't go anywhere!

Loud boos from the crowd as we return from the commercial break and we see The Boss Sasha Banks making her way out. She has the shutter shades on as she looks at the crowd with total disgust before making her way towards the cage door. She takes a moment to look at the cage before stepping inside.

Michael Cole: This rivalry between these two women dates all the way back to NXT where they became friends after a thirty-minute Ironwoman match. However, Sasha turned her back on Bayley attacking her at Money in the Bank and taking her spot in the match.

Big Show: Sasha used Bayley to get to the Women's Universal title and Bayley has spent months trying to beat Sasha but Sasha found a way to survive each time.

Michael Cole: Well tonight there is no escape. Both women hate each other so much they have agreed that the only way to win this match is via pinfall or submission.

Big Show: So no one is going to crawl under the ring and sneak out this time?

A loud pop from the live crowd as Bayley makes her way out! There are no inflatable tube men tonight for Bayley as this is all about giving a beating to the woman who took months off her career. Who stabbed her in the back and left her in a pool of her own blood twice this year. Bayley climbs into the ring and doesn't even wait for the bell as she charges at Banks and the two women are battering the hell out of each other as the referee calls for the bell to get this match underway!

Main event: Number one contender's steel cage match: Sasha Banks vs Bayley​

Match summary: The first couple of minutes of this match is just a straight-up brawl with both women battering each other. Bayley ends up taking control of the match and starts sending Sasha into the cage wall! She makes full use of the cage using sending Sasha into it several times and also trapping the Boss against it. Sasha is only able to turn the tide by using Bayley sending her into the cage wall to grab hold of it and climbing up the cage. Commentary reminds us that you can't win by escaping but Banks uses the cage wall to leap off and hits Bayley with a DIVING METEORA!

Most of the crowd boo this but a few can't help popping for the high-risk offense from The Boss. At this point, Sasha takes control as she tries to pick Bayley apart! Like Bayley, she uses the cage to hurt her but finds a much more evil way to use it! She grabs one of Bayley's pigtails and uses it to tie her hair to the cage wall! Nuclear heat from the crowd but the Boss doesn't give a damn. She starts battering Bayley who tries to fight back but soon the Boss wears her down even hitting her with a TRIO OF METEORAS!

Banks smirks to herself before untying Bayley's hair and making the cover BUT BAYLEY KICKS OUT! Banks looks stunned and angry but she shakes her head as she grabs Bayley by the neck and locks her in the BANK STATEMENT! Banks has the hold locked on tight as Bayley is in quite a bit of pain! She then starts to crawl towards the ropes and reaches them!Commentary seems confused and wonders why Bayley is going for the ropes but we soon see why as she uses the wall to get to a STANDING POSITION BEFORE DIVING BACKWARDS ONTO HER BACK BREAKING THE HOLD!

Bayley rolls away as Sasha looks annoyed she couldn't put Bayley away but is ready to end this. She charges at Bayley and looks to go for the BACKSTABBER BUT BAYLEY HOLDS ONTO THE CAGE WALL! Banks falls back to the mat as Bayley grabs hold of her and connects with a BAYLEY TO BELLY! Bayley makes the cover 1 2 Banks kicks out! Bayley looks to the corner wonders what to do next to take Sasha down. She grabs Sasha before sending her into the cage wall as Bayley runs off the ropes and hits a series of ELBOWS SLAMMING BANKS HEAD INTO THE CAGE WALL!

Bayley hammers Banks several times and we soon see how hard she is hitting her as her nose starts to POUR BLOOD. Bayley then looks to scoop Banks up for a SECOND BAYLEY TO BELLY... BUT SASHA RAKES THE EYES! Bayley lets go and Sasha... SHE LOOKS TO FLEE AS SHE STARTS TO SCRAMBLE UP THE CAGE WALL! Banks is looking to get some breathing room from Bayley as she climbs up the cage wall but BAYLEY FOLLOWS AFTER HER! She tries to kick Bayley off but the Hugger follows her up to the top of the cage, fighting off whatever Sasha throws at her.

They both get to the top of the cage as the two women sit on the top and trade blows with each other as they teeter on the top! Banks looks like she might be about to knock BAYLEY OFF THE TOP OF THE CAGE... BUT BAYLEY HANGS ON WITH ONE HAND! Sasha Banks has an evil smirk as she stands over Bayley looking down on her Lion King style! She taunts Bayley and goes to stamp on her hand... BUT BAYLEY SWINGS ON THE CAGE TOP AND TRIPS BANKS UP!

Banks falls on the top of the cage back first as Bayley climbs back to the top of the cage wall. She gets to her feet as Banks struggles to her feet as BAYLEY GRABS HER AND FLIES OFF THE CAGE WALL HITTING AN AVALANCHE BAYLEY TO BELLY! Both women land with a thud as Banks is out cold. Bayley gets to a seated position as she looks at Banks and SHE WANTS TO DO MORE DAMAGE! Bayley scales the cage as she lines up the bloody Sasha Banks and flies off the top of the cage hitting the BAYLEY ELBOW DROP! Bayley then hooks the leg 1 2 3 Bayley is going to the Royal Rumble!

Winner via pinfall: Bayley (17:40)​

A massive pop from the live crowd as Bayley gets to her feet and celebrates the win finally overcoming her arch-rival and former best friend Sasha Banks. Banks meanwhile hasn't moved as she sells the impact of coming off the cage wall tonight.

Michael Cole: Bayley has done it and has finally gotten revenge on Sasha Banks.

Big Show: She has been through hell this year thanks to her former best friend but tonight she beaten her and now has the chance to try to take the Universal Women's title from Ronda Rousey.

The cage wall lowers as we see a stretcher come out and it loads Sasha Banks onto it as she is still out cold after being slammed off the cell by Bayley. Bayley outside the ring can be seen celebrating her win as her friend and ally in the last couple of months Kairi Sane hugs her. Kairi raises Bayley's hand into the air as we see Bayley look at her former friend and smiles as the show starts to fade to black with Bayley celebrating a big win bringing the year to a close on a positive note.

News update:​

Ariya Davari and Fabian Aichner checked into rehab​

Both men have been sent to rehab for personal problems as people outside the company speculate if there is a serious problem with the WWE locker especially with the high numbers going to rehab lately. Aichner was going to take part in the TLC match at NXT UK Takeover Blackpool but he will be replaced by Alexander Wolfe in that match.

Mod note: Fabian Aichner has now gone to rehab twice in this universe. Also, three people are now in rehab in a week in-universe. Wow.
