WWE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
SHINSUKE NAKAMURA(C) VS AJ STYLES

The “King of Strong Style” Shinsuke Nakamura kicked off 2019 in a big way by winning a five way match to earn a shot at the WWE WHC. Come the Royal Rumble ppv event, Nakamura faced off with the then WWE World Heavyweight Champion, the “American Dragon” Bryan Danielson.

Nakamura would defeat Danielson in an instant classic to become the new WWE WHC. At No Way Out, Nakamura was able to defeat Danielson again to remain the holder of the title. After the match he was confronted by AJ Styles the man who defeated him at WrestleMania 34 and the rematch was set.
