Yeah I definitely knew Bret would be the last inductee. He was number one on my final list so I’m glad 4/5 of my final list made it. What can you say about Bret that hasn’t been said. Guy was arguably the finest in ring performer to ever do it. After an era where matches featured over the top performers having the same five moves, Bret brought legitimacy to the WWF Champion actually having great matches. He had a huge impact on smaller guys getting over with their athleticism and charisma. Perfect guy to finish off this year’s HoF class.
My fifth pick and the only one who didn’t get in was John Cena. It was really a no brainer to put him on my list. He was my number 2 after Bret. The guy was the face of WWE in the PG era and was one of the hardest working professional wrestlers of all time. He made the top 10 so at least guys are including him to some degree lol. I hope he gets in next year.
