Watched this today and I really liked it. Feel like it's probably one of those movies that isn't everyone's cup of tea because of the ambiguity factor. It doesn't tell you a lot, just sorta throws you in with these characters without much explanation but it really captivated me. I mostly watched for Colin Farrell being in it, and he didn't let me down. Barry Keoghan was amazing. Acting was super on point across the board. It has a very surreal feeling about it, and makes you feel unnerved right from the start but you don't really know why. It just feels off, best way to put it. I thought the way they did it was just excellent, tbh. I'd definitely recommend giving this a shot. I don't really want to say more because I feel it's best going in blind for the most part.

Thought Doctor Sleep was awesome. It does a good job of capturing what made The Shining so great, and it might even be better in some aspects.

Very well acted film with a good atmosphere and story. Ewan McGregor was incredible, he played a great Danny Torrance.

Quite long though, so strap in is all I can say!

Adore this film. Claudette Colbert has a face that's all eyes and cheeks, easily the most seductive Cleopatra on film. The sets pieces are extravagant, like the scene where she is attempting to charm an unwilling Mark Antony, she has fresh clams fished straight out of the sea. Out of the nets pour out piles of barely dressed women. Since the director, Cecil B. DeMille started in silent film, he focuses on visual spectacle. A style over substance deal but I like it that way. Early sound Hollywood epic done right.

Spree was a very fun movie. Joe Keery does a really stellar job in the lead role of a guy that will do absolutely anything for internet fame and clicks.

I thought the filming style was pretty fitting for this kind of movie and definitely added some more realism to the scenes.

Isn't super long either, and I don't feel it overstayed it's welcome. Just a crazy bloody fun ride with good performances. I'd recommend to all the horror buffs.

Loved that Film as well. I always thought a Series of a grown up Abra could really work expanding on her life, powers, and more people wanting to have what she's got.

That actress was great, I'd definitely enjoy seeing more of her and that character. Probably one of my favourite roles I've seen Rebecca Ferguson in as well. She killed it.

Yeah she was so evil but so charismatic to the point where you kinda want to follow her or should I say I can understand why people would follow her.

So I guess I know where this GIF comes from now..

It seems I've been sleeping on War Dogs for far too long. Such a fun movie, with good chemistry between the cast. Good blend of action and comedy.

Really enjoyed Jonah Hill in this, thought he was pretty fantastic. Him and Miles Teller really go together well.

Realising there's so many good comedy movie duos with Jonah, when he just meshes with someone well it's like magic. Very talented actor. Recommend it.

Man the movie Her. I'm honestly lost for words at how good this was. A movie hasn't moved me like that in quite some time now.

Very unique love story, felt a lot like a Black Mirror episode, tbh. Joaquin Phoenix is incredible in it.

Touching movie with good performances and visuals. Don't let this one pass ya for too long like I did.

I remember when this first came out and I was trying to tell East Texas people it was a good movie and they were just like "you must wanna fuck computers then" :heston

Well Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind made me tear up once again. Seems like no matter how many times I see the film, it still manages to move me. Just such a beautifully made film with amazing performances. Truly one of a kind.

I enjoyed Creed II a lot more than I expected given its scores and reviews. I would say I almost liked it as much as the first one. It could have definitely done without that improvised concert from the wife during Adonis' entrance though.

Just finished watching Stowaway earlier and I enjoyed it quite a bit. Thought Anna was great as she usually is. Pretty likable characters overall and good performances from the cast. Pace felt good, and I didn't find myself getting bored. Which honestly does happen with some space movies, as much as I enjoy the concept. Like I remember being so let down by Cloverfield Paradox. It doesn't do anything super original, but I was entertained until the end. Worth watching for the cast alone imo, and to see Anna Kendrick and Toni Collette together in a movie. I was smiling a lot. :lol

Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2022 (Netflix)

It is better than I expected from the reviews I had seen, like some are saying this is the worst movie of the entire franchise. To be honest, it wasn't that bad, I'd recommend it for die hard fans like me. It's not a great movie and it's not a great reboot like Halloween 2018, but it has lots of violence and gore which is what you should be looking for in a Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie. 5/10

Putting so much emotional emphasis on his opponent really made the final fight a conflicting watch. It is better than the first one in the way it takes that risk that pays off.
