I mean I ran the last game. There was a mod kill - there was no day phase ended because of it.

No it wasn't and I don't believe the modkill even ended the phase. Again, what's your point?

Simply that there is a much greater motivation for town to reiterate the rules, and much less motivation for scum to do so, if modkills end a phase (particularly a day phase). Therefore, you can't exactly call Jeff null by comparing it to a previous game where modkills didn't end a phase.

I imagine scum Juice wouldn't be motivated to start arguments over nothing unless she were really confident that she could have the heat off her.

That isn't necessarily saying she's coming from a town point of view though - I don't know if I've ever played with Juice but from what's been said about me in certain channels I think one who hadn't played with me before would expect an easy target
