i just feel like what u do over the course of a whole year is a lot more important/should hold more meaning than what u do in 1 week. like u said it rarely ever happens so not not a big deal, and i can see how it's debatable, but i vote yes on rule change.

Well I'm bored. What can we do to entertain ourselves for the next 2 weeks?

Have serious intense arguments about minor procedural quirks in the rules?

GA's 2012-13 PG POWER RANKINGS
1. Chris Paul
2. Russell Westbrook
3. Stephen Curry
4. Kyrie Irving
5. Ty Lawson
6. Deron Williams
7. John Wall
8. Kyle Lowry
9. Mike Conley
10. Goran Dragic

------------ TOP TIER PG
1. Self explanatory
2. Self explanatory
3. I'd be willing to take a risk on glass ankles if he drops far enough (which he will) or his Yahoo! ranking is in the 50's or something stupid.
4. Barring injuries Irving is an awesome pick. His % are scary good.
5. Lawson = safe pick and a worthy #1 PG on a team.
------------- MAJOR DROP OFF
6. Deron was trash last year, but probably going to be decent this year with the move to Brooklyn and all eyes on him. Lawson still >>>>>>>>>> Him, imo.
7. % can kill a team, but the assists/PPG/FTM/FGM might be worth it? Ben couldn't make it work.
8. idk, new system? Toronto seems to be behind him though.
9. GOAT multi-cat stat stuffer. No good on the PPG tho.
10. Dragic sneaks in above Jennings (%'s), Parker (Age), Nash (?) and RONDOOOOOOOO (11 or 12). Expect great.

pls rate.

Also PSYCH isn't mod anymore. Everyone laugh.

No way Steph Curry should be that high until he shows he can not get a ankle injury every 5 minutes. Guy is talented as fuck so I could see why you would want to rank him high but going into the year I just would have to drop him lower on the list. Also and I know Sal will obviously agree with this where is Rondo? The older that team is the more they're gonna lean on him guy is a triple double waiting to happen. Lin has top 10 consideration considering he's in a similar situation that he was in when NY had Melo and Amare down thus he has free reign to be the guy meaning he should be a easy 20 plus point scorer and do decent in assist. He'll rape your to's but that's the most irrelevant stat to worry about. I'd put Tony Parker on the list before I would put Conley on it. And I was gonna say Isaiah Thomas could be a sleeper but forgot they got Aaron Brooks behind him.

Which is why I said Steph Curry is probably gonna fall in our draft and hopefully I can swoop in at the right time and get him late. 1 year of injury trouble aint worth writing him off yet, especially with Monta Ellis out of the picture now.

Rondo 11 or 12 like I said. Close to Conley I suppose. More assists/rebounds for the trade off of worse FT%, 3PTM, STL and substantially more TO. You're right he's got more of an offensive load this year though. Maybe 15/11/5 is possible which definitely would make him top 10. But he hurts you in a lot of ways too.

Jeremy Lin was a cute storyline but I never bought it. He's mediocre. I have him below Darren Collison (starting in Dallas) and Mo Williams (starting in Utah) on my PG list for sure.

Pop kinda burned me last year (but not really) so you kinda have to be careful with Spurs. That moves TP down slightly even though he's phenomenal statistically.

I like George Hill (starting in IND) and Jarrett Jack (backing up Steph Curry, contract year) above Isiah Thomas. Kinda early to tell on him.

I just think Lin is in a situation where he can fill up stat sheets just cause that team pretty much has nobody so at least I could see him putting up some good scoring numbers. Solid point about the fantasy killer factor in Pop but out of that trio of stars they got he's the one who plays the most. Far as Rondo goes yeah the FT% sucks but he can carry you in assist gets you steals, one of the better rebounding PG's in t he league and can go off scoring wise sometimes so he's definite top 10 to me.

Forgot to address Nash which he def falls out of top 10 as he'll get his assist but I'm expecting career low scoring numbers across the board and his health will have to be more monitored than ever.

You undervalue TOs too. The worse team is supposed to win that category, but it's a cat that can easily be won if you avoid the dangerous guys. I think I won it most every week last season, and I had a lot of guys that had the ball in their hands quite a bit. The only guy that I had that was a TO threat was fucking David Lee. That boy can turn the ball over, I tell you.

(still drafting him in the first round if that's what it takes to get him, i love you david)

Yeah I totally ignore that stat which is why I guess our ranking of players is different. You pretty much have to say fuck point guards to try and ensure you win that stat anyways and even then you never know.

Deron Williams at 7...lol. no way he was that low last year in fantasy nor will he be that bad this year with a better team.
