^^oh no idea, but I think the WWE might really be considering the Triple H idea because they may feel this is the one story the fans wouldn't be able to predict since Triple H has always said he doesn't want his real life marriage to Stephanie to be used in a story. (for XBA)

i don't know if the fans would really want to see another HHH vs. Orton, but that could be the revenge match for HHH injuring him at ONS last year. Makes sense on that end kind of.

The last time Steph and HHH were face to face they made a joke out of it.

well when you think about it too, the fued between Triple H & Orton never really ended because of the injury to Orton. But then again neither did the Orton vs. Cena fued for the same reasons.

There was one other idea I heard. Using the same scenario as above leading to Orton vs. Triple H for the WWE Title, have Stephanie announce that its not just a one on one match but a Triple Threat. Orton vs. Triple H vs. Cena for the WWE & World Titles. Its a unification match where there is One main champion for both Raw & Smackdown...kinda like how it was when they first did the roster slit....however I think that one is a little more far fetched and would also give us the exact same main event as last years Wrestlemania.

It's a decent rumor, but I doubt it.
Firstly, he has a wm title shot. I doubt he loses it, and wwe wouldn't be stupid enough to have Vince strip him of it, because that would make him look bad.
The only other way to lose it would be to cash in early, which I also doubt. There's only one PPV, which is No Way out, and he already has a match. Therefore, he can only cash in on Raw, which would never happen. Espeially with Orton being a heel.
Thirdly, with Austin being inducted, I highly doubt he would wrestle a match with anyone, nevermind Orton. If it's anyone, it would be like Hogan or something.

And that would leave Legacy....where?

what about legacy? In both versions involving Triple H its still Orton in the title match. I still think the 2nd version making it a triple threat unification match is a joke. But the 1st version I think has high chance of happening.

So you're proposing that a)Wins and leaves Dibiase and Rhoades behind after all this build to go to Smackdown(where there is already a top heel in Edge)?
b)Loses and crushes his momentum?

who says he has to leave Raw? First off this is the WWE. Despite suposedly having 3 rosters it doesn't stop everyone from fighting on every fucking show anyways. (Miz & Morrison spring to mind) WWE would and could come with every and any excuse to either move Rhodes & Dibiase over to Smackdown or Orton moving to Raw with the WWE Title. They may choose to break up legacy prior to Mania, or maybe to continue the Legacy some how Dibiase & Rhodes will some how get a WWE Tag Team Title shot against the Colon brothers at Wrestlemania and Legacy goes home with all the gold. Vickie is the heel GM she could pull some strings no doubt. Edge could then maybe goto Raw, after all if Jeff is fueding with Matt & Triple H with Orton who's left for Edge? Might as well goto Raw.

I didn't say I had the answers what I said was I heard the idea, and with what happened on Raw I feel that may be a reality...the details I can't tell you.

I was actually thinking that what This Guy said about Triple H could work until that what noumenon said. You have a point, if Orton wins against Triple H, he goes to SD and all that build-up on Legacy, on the McMahon feud, would be gone. Dibiase and Rhodes aren't ready to go alone. And if that was to happen, who would face Cena? The only one on the RAW side who has any momemtem, any type of actual challenge toward Cena's belt right now, is Orton.

The only way I could see Triple H being the one Orton challenges would be ifthere were somebody else on the RAW roster to challenge Cena, and look like they have a chance in winning, and that's nobody but Orton right now

Actually now that you make me thing about it, why not move Legacy to Smackdown? Why not Turn Wrestlemania into a Raw vs. Smackdown event? After all Vickie has her issues with Triple H as well. So when Orton chooses to face Triple H at Mania for the WWE Title. Vickie thrilled with Triple H being out of her hair and more focused with Orton decides to give Orton whatever he wants to help with his quest. Orton asks for Rhodes & Dibiase to come to Smackdown.

Now all of Legacy is on Smackdown. Meantime Edge frustrated that he is not in the title picture at Wrestlemania convinces Vickie that they need to show Stephanie who the most powerful couple in the WWE is. Vickie & Edge challenge Stephanie to allow Edge to face Cena for the World Title at Wrestlemania. Stephanie agrees. And now you've got your two title matches. Edge in the meantime uses this as a chance to escape from Vickie and Smackdown. Legacy also gets the WWE Tag Team Title shot against Carlito & Primo. And well who knows where they go from there.

I'm going to break this down....one last time.

-Orton has been built like crazy for the past few months as the top heel on RAW.
-Cena has been built to monumental proportions...beating just about everyone on the roster including HBK, Jericho and JBL over the past 2 months.
-If not Orton who would face Cena at WM? One of the aformentioned 3 that he's between in the last two months already?
-Cena/Orton go into Mania untouched by each other....neither one has gone over the other yet. Two guys on warpaths. The build would be fucking incredible. There isn't even a need for a backing storyline.
-Triple H challenges Orton..the top heel on RAW, when he hasn't even faced the top heel on his own brand in Edge!?
-Triple H wins..............there goes months of Ortons momentum
-Orton wins..........heads over to Smackdown and leaves Legacy on RAW? A stable that took MONTHS of building.
-Now we've got the two biggest heels in the company on one show...Orton and Edge....WHAT!?

-Why the hell would Vicky help Orton come to Smackdown instead of helping our her husband?
-Why would she send Edge to RAW????

if stone cold faces someone at mania, it will be Chris Jericho, that would make sense with the current storyline involving the canadian

doesn't make much sense seeing as how he said he will sue if he doesn't get the word title shot @ Mania.

(...and get an injunction to see that WM doesn't happen; period.)

...Listen to this man. :y:

The only way they get out of that scenario now is to turn the show from warring wrestlers to warring lawyers which would be one fat knife in the heart of the wrestling industry cos regardles of the success of courtroom drama TV shows, not one damn person is gonna watch a wrestling for a comic-book version of that shit.

Besides, they do all this with Legacy, The McMahons, The Rumble for months only to job him to a near-cripple????

No the time is now. Cena vs Orton will be good, but its predictable. Where else can you have Orton vs austin? At judgment day? I do not think so.

It sounds like some shitty Cyber Sunday match to me.

And so, unsuprisingly, the desperation e-booking begins (a al Cristian & Taker/HBK on IWF in recent weeks)....

Vince/Linda McMahon announce during a Randy Orton promo that they cannot strip him of the title opportunity @ WMXXV, but nothing in the contract says he cannot defend that title shot.

Deserving of a second chance to earn that title when the odds were unfairly stacked against him previously, the match is Randy Orton vs. Triple H.

Regardless of who it would be against, why the hell would Orton agree to sign a contract for a match where his title-shot is up for grabs?

Same as the match against Shane being for the title shot... Orton simply wouldn't sign the match contract.

have you actually read the Royal Rumble - WreslteMania contract? No, i doubt it. It could be just some random letter that someone had lying around and they added a sheet to the back of it. Its a kayfabe contract

Your attempt at being a smart ass FAILED miserably... (Just thought I'd point that out.)
