The thing about the stuff Charlton said is that it makes for a great storyline when Okada returns. Other stuff probably didn’t need to be said…but he also wasn’t wrong shitting on the continental classic vs G1. He just wasn’t. Until the G1 is two top guys we didn’t even make top guys in opposite brackets and everyone else is randomly plucked from the no chance in hell but we don’t want to beat our top guys defeating the entire reason the tournament we are copying is amazing part of the roster, at least. Either way…the Okada stuff is all going to pay off one day. He left in a way that has the young workers pissed. Those future matches when they’re all established are going to hit like crack.
Cool but have a wrestler cut that promo. I don't want to listen to random nerd on commentary bitching when trying to watch a PPV. The praising of G1 over C2 is fine but his comments were fucking annoying. Also clearly the comments pissed NJPW off because he has been suspended.

If Gabe Kidd cuts the promo and the other wrestlers sure? Keep it off commentary tho or we have one of the AEW commentator start to bury bad parts of New Japan.
