There's tons of shitty sequels to movies. Most have to do with new directors or bad scripts. Transformers 2 and 3 are shitty but that's expected. If you're talking about a bad sequel in comparison to a classic I'd say Matrix Revolutions. Reloaded wasn't really great either but Revolutions just took a giant dump over one of the greatest Sci Fi films. The original Matrix was a huge deal when it came out and was probably the most original thing at the time. Of course there's many others like Alien Resurection that could have been good as opposed to the countless bad horror sequels or movies that everyone expects to be bad.
