Blue-ing this out to get it posted. Sorry for partying!

As the 8 o’clock hour arrived on the broadcast, a similar intro to Raw occurred. A car rolled up in the O2 Arena – a fancy-looking Bentley! Well, we are in England. The camera stayed on it and revealed the driver as they climbed out of the car – Becky Lynch! Just as she promised, Lynch went across the pond and is here tonight for retribution!

Lynch swaggered on, and since she was one-half of the Women’s Tag Team Champions, she could be on this show all that she wanted to…

Friday Night Smackdown: From London!
November 8th 2019 | London, England | O2 Arena

The show then shockingly began with the music of The Phenomenal One!

AJ Styles graced us with his presence! Styles, a loser in last week’s high-stakes WWE Championship Match, didn’t look like he was in a stirring mood at all. He was announced for competition against a local competitor, from London, named Sha Samuels. And… well, poor Sha, is all we can probably say. Because Styles didn’t look happy at ALL as he got into the ring.

1 – Singles Match
AJ Styles vs. Sha Samuels

Once again, poor Sha Samuels. Styles put the boots to him very quickly here as everyone in the building reminded him that he lost last week. How? “KOFI!” chants started up! So did the question of “WHERE’S YOUR TITLE?” from our spirited London crowd. That only seemed to make things worse though for Samuels as AJ was clearly heated that he didn’t win the WWE Title. Even if it was in the fashion that it was, an unbelievable counter, Styles isn’t taking any pleasure in coming up short. Samuels got beat up in and outside of the ring. Styles sent a clear message to the locker room that he was not going to stand on that loss up for very long. Eventually, after playing with his food for a while, Styles slammed him down with the Styles Clash!
WINNER: AJ Styles via pinfall at 3:40.

And after the match, Styles decided he wasn’t finished. AJ grabbed a steel chair from the outside and if there was any doubt that someone would go after him, The Usos then got into the ring! And they started to beat an already defenseless Sha Samuels! AJ got on the mic as he climbed into the ring. “Kofi Kingston… Let the record show… That last week was nothing more than a fluke!” Boos for the sore loser Styles. “You simply got lucky on a move that I hit 99 times out of 100. ALL IT WAS… was one time! And you got LUCKY!” AJ angrily looked around as the crowd jeered him. “So Kofi… Xavier Woods… ha, I can’t say Big E, because we took your boy OUT!” Boos again for that one. “Later tonight, The Usos and I have a challenge for you… and unlike last week… this one, you won’t be so lucky in.”

AJ then violently cracked the chair across Samuels’ back! C’mon! AJ blasted him with the chair a couple of times before shouting out to the crowd. The Usos stood by their new leader, and despite last week’s lack of success, it seems like they’re not planning on going anywhere anytime soon!

~ COMMERCIAL BREAK ~

A sizzle reel for the exciting tag team set to debut on the blue brand, likely in mere moments, Dakota Kai and Tegan Nox!

We came back to the broadcast and Michael Cole and AJ Lee bantered about the foul mood that AJ Styles is in tonight. They wondered what the challenge could be and AJ said that if it was anything like Ruby Riott’s, then it’d be pretty spicy. Cole said that it was interesting that AJ named them, considering who we’re about to see in action. Lee simply said that “everything happens for a reason,” implying she must have ESP.

DAKOTA KAI and TEGAN NOX, aka TEAM KICK made their way to the ring! They received a huge ovation from the in-the-know crowd, as these two certainly made a name for themselves out here as well. Another video package accompanied them to the ring, really introducing them. Dakota was put over as a bulldog, with a tenacious mentality who has a deep willingness to do whatever it takes to make an impact. Tegan, of course, was portrayed as a resilient fighter. Both of them came off like badasses for going through all that they have. And now… they’re here!

2 – Tag Team Match
Team Kick vs. Stevie Turner and Xia Brookside

So NXT UK’s Stevie Turner and Xia Brookside competed in this match against Dakota Kai and Tegan Nox. Kai and Nox made their long-awaited blue-brand in-ring debuts and put on an early show! This one really gets wrapped up just as it starts, really! Stevie and Xia are simply no match for Dakota and Tegan, two members of Toni Storm’s Women’s Survivor Series team in just under three weeks! Lee said that she commended Toni for picking her friends, but said that that’s not often enough. Interesting… she has to run PR for Ruby Riott in any event. Anyways, Tegan and Dakota prove they are VERY worthy of that spot! Late in the matchup, about as ‘late’ as it can get, Xia and Stevie get Dakota set up and look to reverse Flapjack her… SO SHE HITS A REVERSE DOUBLE DDT ON THEM! Dakota then crawls over and tags in Tegan! Nox comes in and then sees Stevie getting up as Dakota traps Xia up! Shining Wizard to Stevie Turner! 1! 2! 3!!!
WINNERS: Team Kick via pinfall at 3:32.

~ COMMERCIAL BREAK ~

The Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn was seen arriving at the building… Finally! Finally Zayn resurfaced after an extended absence for whatever reason… some have speculated that Zayn is ducking his best friend Kevin Owens. If you ask Sami, he’s been held up because he wanted to be “protected.” Who’s telling the truth? Well, we’ll have to see.

A sizzle reel played to the beat of “Girls, Girls, Girls” by Mötley Crüe for who else? Toni Storm!

Speaking of interviews, Kayla Braxton conducted one with… ‘The Man’ Becky Lynch!

Braxton asked if Becky planned to make good on her promise to get revenge on Bayley and Sasha Banks tonight. The Man said that she didn’t come around just to visit London, nice as this lovely city is. She’s here to take care of business, Lynch promised. She said she always made good on promises and suggested that the two dopes, wherever they are, better have eyes in the backs of their heads tonight. Quite the warning! Lynch then went on with the baseball bat she wielded with her tonight. She then just… so happened… to pass an interesting person…

Hey! It’s TONI STORM!

Not the first time these two have encountered each other backstage… Lynch smiled and wished the youngster good luck. Storm smiled and thanked her and wished her good luck on her quest too.

Speaking of Ms. Storm… here she comes!

Greg Hamilton introduced the FIRST-EVER Women’s Intercontinental Champion to a ton of fanfare. Toni Storm was set to make history as she would defend the Women’s Intercontinental Championship for the very first time! Toni came out, dressed in black and blue with a white, black, and blue jacket. Her white boots popped off the screen as she marched down to the ring, all smiles, clearly taking in the moment right now in London. She made England and the UK her home for many years before arriving on the scene this July, so this was a big deal!

Toni got into the ring and took the microphone. Storm then addressed the London crowd. “It’s so nice to see you all again, London!” A huge ovation! “Wow, y’know…” Storm was clearly pretty star-struck of the moment right now. She took a moment to let it breathe before she continued. “Y’know it is such… an honor… it is such a privilege… it is such a pleasure to be the first-ever Women’s Intercontinental Champion.” Cheers again as Storm put the title on her shoulder. “See I might be a newcomer, I might only be 24 years old, but I am not new to this. I know the amount of work that women in this company and in the industry have put in to make this championship possible.” More than plenty of applause for that. “Women like Lita, Trish Stratus, and Chyna…” Well then. There ya go. “And like Mickie James, Beth Phoenix, and the woman who I’ll be seeing at Survivor Series, AJ Lee.”

Well, that was kind of awkward for a moment. Toni waved at AJ, as if to remind her of what her and Ruby have coming to them soon. “Women… like Becky Lynch.” HUGE pop. “I would say two others, and I do acknowledge their contributions, but you will excuse me if I don’t dignify them.” Whew… pretty obvious who she meant there. “So when I say that I’m proud to be the first Women’s Intercontinental Champion, I say that not only for my personal gain, for my self-esteem, for my validation of all the hard work that I have put in over the last 11 years, trying to get to WWE, but I also say it because I’m thankful for everybody who made this championship possible.” Another round of applause for Storm, who is certainly coming off with honor.

“And that includes all my opponents, even my opponent tonight, Candice LeRae.” A mixed response there. “Liv Morgan… I won’t mind if you kick Ruby Riott’s ass a little bit on Monday, all things considered right now, so I’ll be rooting for you. And if you want this championship, come knock on my door.” Well! Pretty straight-forward there. “And Asuka…”

Intrigue! “Asuka I would be honored to face you. But once I’m done with this match, whether I win or whether I lose--”

Toni was, unfortunately, interrupted!

IT’S CANDICE LERAE!

Candice came out by herself notably, without the presence of Mia Yim, who’d been befriending her lately. LeRae seemed to be annoyed by Toni Storm’s presence. That had lately become a feature, not a bug. LeRae obviously believes that she should be the first Women’s Intercontinental Champion, but now she has a chance to prove that she is worthy of that championship!

3 – WOMEN’S INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Toni Storm © defends against Candice LeRae

This proves to be an absolute DANDY. Storm and LeRae tangle in clearly their most in-depth affair of late. They’ve had some good ones, but this one really showed the contrasts with the other. Candice was out to prove she was worthy of being champion and that she was better than Toni, as she kept claiming. And some real hatred started to come out of LeRae as she stuck Toni with some harder strikes. But the bulletproof Storm fought on anyway. She wasn’t concerned about feeling or absorbing pain. Storm knew that was part of the job description and she fought on and swung momentum into her favor. She certainly had the crowd behind her. It was a familiar setting for Toni Storm and for Candice LeRae, well, it was familiar in the sense that she was losing oxygen in this match.

But LeRae stunted Toni’s momentum after she desperately hit the top rope after she climbed up! Storm landed down on the top turnbuckle. LeRae then went along and, perhaps in sending a message, drilled Toni in the face with KAIO KICK! Hey! That’s DAKOTA KAI’s move! Storm was dumped unceremoniously down off the top rope and plunged to the floor. Candice aimed to take advantage of this moment and she did that quite a bit. She beat up Toni pretty good on the outside and got physical with her inside. LeRae dropped her with a Neckbreaker but decided that wasn’t enough! She threw her into the corner, stepped up on the second rope… Swinging Neckbreaker off the second rope! 1! 2! WAS IT ENOUGH? NO!

Storm kicked out!! Storm showed great resilience yet again despite being hit hard with not one, but TWO Neckbreakers. Candice looked incredibly frustrated. Nothing that she was doing could put Toni away. The crowd chanted her name, which visibly irritated LeRae. She kicked at Toni until Storm grabbed her boot! Candice hopped around and Storm pulled her in and headbutted her!! The move put Candice on dream street and then Storm launched her back with a German Suplex! The move wiped both women out which is just what the champion seemed to need. She regathered herself after being beaten up good and swung momentum back into her favor! Candice tried to spar with Storm, but Storm had gathered something fierce together!

She kicked Candice down to one knee. She then PUNCHED HER with her foot with a huge kick to the chest! It didn’t take LeRae all the way down so she went off the ropes, shot back—WHAM! SHINING WIZARD! Just like Tegan Nox! 1! 2!! SHOULDER UP!! Storm then hurriedly pulled LeRae up, showing urgency, as she went to hit Storm Zero! NO!! Candice powered out of it! LeRae then kicked Toni in the gut and hit a Snap DDT!! Candice then picked Toni up and sent her into the corner. She picked her up from behind and put her up on the top rope. Candice got on the middle rope and pummeled Toni with her forearm on her back. LeRae then set her up… and looked to hit a POISONRANA!

BUT TONI HELD ONTO THE TOP ROPE!! LeRae eats it on the mat! Storm stayed level and turned herself around. She then looked down and leapt off! CROSS-BODY to LeRae! She pinned her down! 1! 2!! NO!! LeRae kicked out! Storm then went to kick LeRae, but LeRae grabbed her boot! She spun her around and then hit a Step-Up Enziugiri!! Candice then ran over to the ropes and WENT FOR LA QUEBRADA…

AND SHE HIT IT!! COVER 1! 2!!

KICK OUT FROM STORM!!

At damn-near 2.75!! Candice and the crowd can’t believe it, but even after finally hitting that move on Storm – she kept bringing her legs up every time – but it wasn’t enough! Candice took out some of her last bits of aggression on Storm! It had clearly made her distraught that she wouldn’t go down. She then pulled Storm up and went to send her into the ropes. No! Storm stopped her mid-way and then pulled her in! Butterflied the arms! STORM ZERO!!

1! 2!! 3!!!
WINNER: Toni Storm via pinfall at 10:35. Storm RETAINED the Women’s IC Title.

Got ‘em! Storm got the win!! She battled and took everything that Candice LeRae had. And STILL… the first-ever Women’s Intercontinental Champion maintained her reign. She got up and hoisted the title up high! She went to the outside and straddled the barricade as she celebrated with fans at ringside!

Coming up next… THE NEW DAY!

~ COMMERCIAL BREAK ~
PROGRESSIVE Match Flo: Kofi Kingston retained the WWE Championship in an epic match against AJ Styles!

Bayley and Sasha Banks were seen laughing backstage about Becky’s claims that she’s going to take them out. Sasha said she had to take a phone call elsewhere, so the two split up.

And The New Day arrived here in London afterwards! The crowd was very happy to see them, especially our WWE Champion, STILL, Kofi Kingston! Kingston led Xavier Woods down while Big E remained on the mend. Kofi got into the ring and talked about last week’s title match. Kingston said that he has respect for AJ Styles, but only between the ropes. He praised his ability and how he competed last week, as he had to dig REALLLLLY deep to get that win, but that’s the thing: He got that win! Kingston admitted that he’s very blessed to keep going as WWE Champion and as it’s now been seven months, he just hoped he could keep going to make it seven more!

Just then, EVERYONE’s attention diverted to the stage!

“I HEAR VOICES IN MY HEAD!”

RANDY ORTON was here!!

Well, what a significant sight this was! Orton marched to the ring as Kofi stared his former rival down. The Viper slithered into the ring and sized the WWE Champion up before he congratulated him on his huge win last week. Orton said that the two of them were, obviously, no strangers to each other. Orton joked that there’s a dent in the floor at Madison Square Garden ten years later to prove that. But he said that he thought about it and he was past that. Orton told Kingston that he was past that because he needs the best Survivor Series team that he can have.

The OC came out, AS PROMISED, and they took issue with ALL that! AJ Styles said it’s true that Kingston got him last week, but it was a once-in-a-lifetime kind of counter. Like he said earlier, it was a fluke. He knows that 99 other times, he wouldn’t get that. So the fact that he’s parading around with the WWE Title makes him sick. Kingston retorted by saying that he believed he was on a once-in-a-lifetime title run, so you get what you pay for! Styles partially agreed but REITERATED that 99 other times, he wins that match. Styles said that there wasn’t anything that he could do and that pissed him off.

Styles then directed his anger at Randy Orton! Styles asked Orton what he was doing here and said that he didn’t recall being conferred on this, considering that Smackdown is the house that AJ Styles built! Styles said that Orton might have “negotiated” a stipulation in his contract but Styles, instead, wanted to take action so he made HIMSELF the opposing captain! Wow! Styles then said that Jimmy and Jey Uso would join him at Survivor Series!! AJ grinned and said that they have 3 to his 1 and he’s asked two people who hate his guts!! Woods then decided to step up…

“Whoa, let’s not get this twisted. If it means that we don’t have to team with… you… AJ?” Woods said as the crowd got a rise from that. “And ESPECIALLY if we don’t have to team with you, Jimmy and Jey Uso? Our biggest rivals?” Points were being made… “Randy, consider… ya boy Woods on the prowl… with The Apex Predator.” Wow!! Kofi then put his microphone up. “Yeah, you know, AJ? You have a very, very good point, AJ, you’re absolutely right. It is 3-on-1,” Kingston said, which puzzled The Phenomenal One. “Because I see, let me do it three times… Stupid…

Stupid…

STUPID!!”

How clever! “And ONE WWE Champion who is GOING to team with ‘The Viper’ Randy Orton at Survivor Series!!!

“But you know something?, I think I still have some unfinished business. This one’s for you E!”

Kingston threw the mic at Jey Uso! And then punched AJ Styles! A brawl quickly broke out!! The brawl was quickly deescalated but things are far from done between The OC and The New Day, that’s for sure!!

~ COMMERCIAL BREAK ~

Jamie Hayter made her arrival to Smackdown after that! The crowd was happy as heck to see the England native and Rock ‘N Wrestling Cup winner! She herself looked extremely happy to be here as well! She went down to the ring where her trophy was at ringside. Hayter went over by it and posed by it, which got quite the reception. She then jumped into the ring here and eyed her opponent, and looked ready to rock and roll!.

4 – Singles Match
Jamie Hayter vs. Kayden Carter

Not the longest debut for Jamie Hayter! But that’s kind of the point. We are looking to prove some points here and prove points we do! Kayden Carter was simply no match for the brash and confident youngster Hayter. It’s pointed out on commentary that Jamie Hayter is ONLY 24 years old! And here she is, on national television, kicking ass! Kayden got in a minimal amount of offense, not nearly enough to really ding the youngster up, and only served as a small confidence booster. Hayter served as a reality check. Kayden couldn’t compete up to her level, a level that she was quickly establishing at a very high point! Hayter then slapped her bicep and grabbed Kayden by the hand… POW! INSIDE OUT GOES KAYDEN AFTER A BRUTAL LARIAT! 1! 2!! 3!!!
WINNER: Jamie Hayter via pinfall at 1:17.

Hayter rose up here and got the crowd fired up again. The England crowd gravitated towards their countrywoman, who just put on a heck of a display in her official Smackdown debut. Some big things might be to come for her, that’s for sure!

Backstage, Sasha Banks was seen talking on the phone. Rather obnoxiously at that. She was quite rude to whoever she was talking to, saying that they were late and that if they were again, they’d be fired! As Banks continued to throw a temper-tantrum on the phone, Becky Lynch appeared in the corner of the screen! Hobbling and with taped ribs, Becky then swung a metal bat against the wall! What the hell? Banks, startled, dropped her phone and shrieked! She then went to run away but Becky grabbed her! Lynch then threw her into the wall! Becky then kept punching and striking the Raw Women’s Champion who became defenseless to the sneak attack! And it’s EXTREMELY hard to argue that Banks didn’t deserve it! She then grabbed Banks and threw her into a chest, and shut it! Wow! Lynch then told Banks that she was going to take her for a ride! Oh no!

~ COMMERCIAL BREAK ~

Before the next match, Dolph Ziggler came to ringside! And prior to it, we got a brief recap from last week featuring the interaction between Ziggler and Jason Jordan. Funny how that works…

5 – Singles Match
Jason Jordan vs. Otis

While Otis made his way to the ring, video played of Tucker being found backstage earlier today destroyed! Not ideal. Otis came down alone while Jordan stopped talking trash. It seemed like Jordan looked a little nervous. Dolph joked with him about it but Jordan dismissed it. He got in the ring and challenged Otis. Otis got the crowd going meanwhile which irritated Jordan. Jordan looked at Dolph, who laughed, which pissed Jordan off. Jordan came out and got in Dolph’s face! Dolph could see what he was doing and said that he wasn’t going to get him disqualified! Jordan said to hell with it, he was gonna beat him up anyway! Hey!

Jordan pulled Dolph over and started kicking his ass!! The crowd booed at this as Jordan kept kicking and kicking and kicking. Otis came over while Jordan just kept continuing to absolutely punish Dolph’s ribs. Relentlessly so. Otis came over and grabbed Jordan! But Otis got shoved! Jordan pulled Ziggler in and went to throw him inside. He succeeded, but Otis pulled him away! And he shoved HIM down! Jordan scooted back as Otis then got into the ring. He tended over Ziggler here who struggled. The assault on his ribs did serious damage to him. Otis then proceeded to help him up. Ziggler thanked him for doing so—

HEY!

OTIS GRABBED DOLPH BY THE WAIST AND THEN SLAMMED HIM DOWN HARD!!

HEY! WAIT A MINUTE-WHAT’S GOING ON HERE!?

Jordan looked on wide-eyed and shocked…and then smiled! And then got in the ring and joined in on a beatdown of Dolph Ziggler!

IT WAS A TRAP!
RESULT: No Contest at 0:35.

It then became very clear why Jordan targeted Ziggler’s ribs. Otis chose to attack them! Otis splashed down on Ziggler several times and celebrated with Jason Jordan after, having apparently joined forces. But…

What about Tuck… oh… you don’t think…

~ COMMERCIAL BREAK ~

Backstage, Asuka walked through the building! Asuka said hi to R-Truth, who showed up on screen for the first time in a minute! Truth told her that “Storm from the X-Men” is looking for her! Hey… that’s… you know what? Of course.

Asuka walked away then and continued to look around and then came up on Toni Storm’s locker room! She walked inside and in the room, Toni Storm stood along with Dakota Kai and Tegan Nox. They stood back here as Asuka walked up to Storm, who stood bravely.

“Asuka… as I was saying before someone interrupted me, I respect you. Above all, you’re an incredible competitor and a future Hall of Famer and it would be an honor to have you on my Survivor Series team if you’re willing to accept my invitation.”

WOW!!

Toni extended her hand out as Dakota and Tegan watched on from afar. They felt a bit nervous and I mean, it was a big moment! Asuka sized Toni up and then shook her hand!

OH MAN!!

Asuka has just joined Toni Storm’s Survivor Series team!

Elsewhere now, Becky Lynch is here!

She’s still dragging Sasha Banks around in the crate!

Lynch then comes up on exactly where she wants to be: In front of Bayley’s locker room! She sets the crate outside and takes the bat. She shook her head, pulled her arm down, and simply booted the door open!

Lynch stormed the castle and went right after Bayley! The Smackdown Women’s Champion came under fire as The Man was getting a dose of revenge! Bayley began to fought back though, taking control of her turf. She went to throw Lynch in to the locker but Becky, however, swung Bayley back into it!! She then dragged her over and out of the room. She slammed her face down on the crate, popped it open, and stuffed Bayley in it also!! She slammed and locked it shut again!!

Becky Lynch had commandeered The Boss ‘n Hug Connection! She then laughed and told them that they were going for a ride! Uh oh!

~ COMMERCIAL BREAK ~

The scene after the commercial break began with “CELTIC INVASION” booming through the O2 Arena!!

The crowd got absolutely jacked up as Becky Lynch wheeled the crate out on stage!!

Lynch pumped the crowd up and then began to run down the ramp with the crate! She kept going and then let go of it as it raced down! And crashed into the side of the ring!! My God!!

And what’s more is that the crate popped open! It wasn’t locked anymore!! Bayley and Sasha Banks spilled out!!

The Raw and Smackdown Women’s Champions were on dream street! Becky then came up to Banks and walloped her with a right hand!! She then walloped Bayley with a right hand and then another and a third! Lynch riled the crowd up as she then picked Banks up and threw her into the ring!! Lynch got inside and with Bayley on the outside, started to pick the Raw Women’s Champion apart! Revenge finally for St. Louis!! Lynch got Banks in the corner and stomped her down and out!! She pumped the crowd up once again as Lynch dragged Banks away. She pulled her in for the Manhandle Slam! But Bayley then shot a punch in on Becky’s ribs!!

Bayley targeted the area as Banks then joined in!! The crowd booed as the evil Boss ‘n Hug Connection then began to double-team The Man!! They picked her up and then whipped her into the ropes. Bayley held Sasha’s hand as they went for a double clothesline! NO! Becky ducked it, hit the ropes, and leaped into the air with a double clothesline OF HER OWN! Bayley and Sasha were wiped out after that as Becky got up and pumped herself up! She held the ribs but she seemed good to go! She grabbed Banks and then ran over with her! And she threw her out of the ring! AND BACK DOWN INTO THE OPENED CRATE! Becky then turned her attention to Bayley, who then stumbled right in—

MANHANDLE SLAM TO THE SMACKDOWN WOMEN’S CHAMPION!!

But Becky wasn’t finished yet! Ohhhhh NO! No she was not! She then went and grabbed a microphone and then let it rip. “Bayley… you talk about change? Look in the mirror, for once,” Lynch said. “You came out here l last week, you run your mouth. You have anger-management issues. You’re possibly sick in the head. You talk about frauds? Take that stupid ponytail out and then we’ll talk about frauds!” Oh wow! Lynch glared at Bayley, who Sasha was holding back right now.. “The fact that I look at you right now… Knowing the things that you’re apparently capable of doing… Does it frighten me a little bit? Yeah. But I’ve come from a lot deeper than you ever had to dig out of!”

Whew… Lynch continued. “Corporate didn’t pick me. I MADE myself THE ATTRACTION in this company! Just because nobody took to either you or Sasha in the way that they did to me doesn’t mean that you get to sit here, talk down on me, paint a picture of me being a selfish prick, while you stand there talking about me this, me that!!!” Boy, was it clear that Lynch had a lot to say! “‘I didn’t get this!’ ‘I didn’t get that!’ The truth hurts doesn’t it, Bayley!?” Becky yelled at her. “Not everybody’s destined for that… but the people who do they don’t get there by being like you. They don’t get there by being disrespectful. They don’t get there by complaining. By thinking that because they think they’ve earned something that means it should be given on a silver platter for them. You will get your day in the sun, and you may enjoy it, but trust me… it’s a lot of work just to get to the top… … … and it’s THAT much tougher to stay there!!!”

“If the two of you think it’s so damn easy, then why haven’t either of you been able to break through? Why can’t you rise above, Bayley? Why do you have to try and take out the top woman just to succeed? Why do you need to take out Toni Storm? Why does Sasha not have a successful title defense under her belt? All of them-ALL OF THEM have the exact same answer!” Wow. WOW was Becky cutting deep. Sasha looked enraged as it was now Bayley who was holding her back.

“You two want it… … but neither of you two want it bad enough.” Damn… Damn… DAMN. “And at Survivor Series… as I said… the strong is going to survive. And oh yeah. Monday? The Queen is coming around, so you two b*tches better be ready to bow down!”

The Man has finally returned STRAIGHT FIRE to The Boss ‘n Hug Connection!! There was HELL to pay after the betrayal almost two weeks ago and Becky just got herself a taste of it!! But there’s going to be SO much more to come at Survivor Series!

~ COMMERCIAL BREAK ~

DURING THE BREAK… Bayley voiced great displeasure with what just happened. She told Sasha that next week, Becky would pay because she challenged her one-on-one next week here on Smackdown in Philadelphia! HOLY!

Renee Young interviewed Kevin Owens before the main event. Owens said that two months ago at Madison Square Garden, he lost the Intercontinental Championship and it wasn’t even his fault. He threatened Sami Zayn and told him that he could not promise him the same thing tonight. He said that for weeks and weeks, Sami has been ducking and running and hiding. Now, last week, once again Dave Mastiff showed up. Then Damian Priest did. He sent Priest away with a Stunner and said that this is all seeming a bit to convenient. Before KO could get another word out, someone came flying in to try and attack him! WHOA!

It was Dave Mastiff! But this time KO was ready! KO sidestepped him and Mastiff barreled right into the pit! Kevin started attacking him but then Damian Priest suddenly intervened and attacked Owens!! But KO was ready for him too!! Owens connected on some punches and then threw Priest right into Mastiff! Down they went!! Kevin stumbled back and then decided, screw it, and he went out to the arena!!

6 – INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Sami Zayn © defends against Kevin Owens

Owens was clearly ready for Sami Zayn and Sami might not have been ready for Kevin Owens!! KO beat the crap out of Sami around the ring and in the ring after the match began. Sami would eventually get some control in here but it was all KO in the opening minutes. Sami wedged his way out of trouble later and took advantage of a miscue that sent Owens face-first into the ringpost! Sami would nearly put Kevin away and he nearly did so using the dreaded ring apron! A spot on the mat that Zayn and Owens know too well!

But Owens landed on his feet after Sami tried hitting a Blue Thunder Bomb on it!! KO then sent Sami straight into the post! After a few minutes, Owens was put on Jell-O legs later by Sami! He hit him into the corner and went for the HELLUVA KICK! NO! Owens dodged it and Sami didn’t pull his boot up. He went over and went to kick KO. NO! Owens spun him around! STUNNER!! 1! 2!! 3!!! NEW CHAMPION!!!
WINNER: Kevin Owens via pinfall at 10:20. Owens WINS the WWE Intercontinental Title.

And although his newfound enemies in Mastiff and Priest tried to run him down, Owens hopped over the barricade and backed away!! KO grinned and held the championship up!! Owens took the best that the three of them had tonight and, finally, overcame the games! But why are they being played?! This much we still need to know!!

I'm feeling spry. Let's keep it going!!

(I also forgot how spry I was writing this. A bit lengthy show. Redded out, sorry for partying. We're here to get back on the saddle and keep this train moving because there's so much to still do!)

RAW is MANCHESTER

November 11th 2019 | Manchester, England | Manchester Arena

AND WE BEGAN our show tonight in Manchester, England with a well-shot video of a double-decker bus rolling around town. It eventually arrived at the Manchester Arena. After it did, cameras revealed exactly why we were here: Sasha Banks, the new Raw Women’s Champion, sat on the bus with her best pal, Bayley, the Smackdown Women’s Champion. These two, of course, were set to be interviewed by AJ Lee later tonight. But how would they respond to the shocking reveal from former Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch: That The Queen would return!

After the intro, we kicked off with ‘The Inevitable’ Daniel Bryan! Bryan walked to the ring and didn’t do it alone either. In tow with Bryan were Seth Rollins, who held a duffel bag with him, as well as Pete Dunne whose appearance drew BIG cheers from the Manchester faithful. Bryan wore a confident grin on his face as he climbed into the ring. Andrade, Buddy, Dunne, and Rollins soon followed. Bryan took center-stage and addressed the Manchester crowd. He said he thinks that it would be nice to say that he’s in a better country than the United States of America – which unsurprisingly earned cheers – but he can’t, because England is no better. Boos! Bryan said they couldn’t challenge that if they wanted to. Bryan said that over the past few weeks there have been a lot of questions. Well, the good news for the people of Manchester is that Bryan was willing to answer them.

“Why have Seth Rollins and I joined forces? Why have we decided that we are going to stand out from the rest of the pack on Monday Night Raw? Because we realized something. We already do,” said Bryan as Rollins grinned. “Seth Rollins and I have more in common than a lot of people might realize. We are both cut from the exact same cloth. Wherever Seth Rollins has been, I have been. I debuted in NXT, Seth Rollins debuted in NXT, and was the first-ever NXT Champion.” Seth, a popular man in Manchester, eats up some cheers from the audience. “We crossed paths, no stranger to each other when we did. Things were said… fists flew… but I always had a deep respect for Seth. The way he carried himself, the way that he believed that in his mind, when he was on, NOBODY could touch him… that is not only something I believe, that is not only something I have believed, that I will forever believe, but is FACT!”

Seth then took the mic, laughing. “Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha… Daniel. Daniel, you are, as you always are, as you always will be, on the money. You and I are a lot a like. We are both the best at what we do. We have both decorated superstars in WWE. We have both cashed in Money in the Bank contracts SUCCESSFULLY! We have both won at WrestleMania! We are both Grand Slam Champions, future Hall of Famers, married to two badasses, Daniel, you and I might as well be twins the more I think about it!” We sure love this bro-fest going on. “But this is just the beginning. Because nobody has seen the things that we are capable of putting together. And, I mean, if you don’t believe us… why don’t you ask Drew McIntyre?” Laughter from Bryan and Rollins soon followed while the intense Dunne stood behind them. Quite the juxtaposition. Rollins then called Pete over.

“And then… ha, ha, ha, ha, you know ‘em don’t ya Manchester!” Rollins exclaimed. “BRUISERWEIGHT!” chants echoed around the Manchester Arena. Rollins patted Dunne on the shoulder, as did Bryan. “This man… right here, he was directionless and he won the United States Championship on his first night in WWE. He held the NXT UK Championship for SIX-HUNDRED and EIGHTY-FIVE days!” Boastful is Rollins about Dunne. “And he, officially, is our protégé.” Wow! Alright then! “And we will not only seek complete domination of Monday Night Raw, but we are going to prepare the next generation so that we can remain… as The Inevitables!” Quite the bold declaration! Rollins then handed the microphone back to Daniel Bryan.

“Now, let it be known now that Pete Dunne has officially joined The Inevitables for Survivor Series!” Bryan declared. Quite the announcement! And quite the team he was building. “So Drew McIntyre while you sit there with absolutely no friends, no allies, no help… you will find yourself at the mercy of the most lop-sided result in Survivor Series HISTORY!” Seth grinned, as did Bryan, as that was quite a bold statement!

“Now… apparently, Rey Mysterio is here tonight,” Bryan said to huge cheers. “Why? I don’t know, he seems to want to still defend the Television Championship. Against me. A man who has already pinned him once this year and will absolutely do it again. Rey, I have a feeling that by the end of the night, you’re going to wish that you just stayed home with Dominik.” Whew. Well… that’s one way to begin! They flashed a graphic again for Bryan versus Mysterio for the Television Championship, set to be the main event of the night!

Just before the break, the Manchester crowd cheered! Why? Toni Storm, that’s why!

Storm appeared in her dressing room, putting the finishing touches on her attire as she threw a red and white jacket on to match her red and white gear. Dressed for the occasion? You bet’cha! Her second Women’s Intercontinental Championship defense was next!

~ COMMERCIAL BREAK ~

Before the match began, an elongated introduction occurred for none other than…

TRISH STRATUS!

Trish drew enormous cheers from the Manchester crowd despite her status. Not surprisingly. The seven-time WWE Women’s Champion strolled down the entranceway and around the ring as she then joined the commentary team at ringside!

Then, a brief teaser ran for our upcoming match!

1 – WOMEN’S INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Toni Storm © defends against Alexa Bliss

*Trish Stratus on commentary*
Bliss and Storm, two women who you could consider disruptors, square off in this high-stakes encounter. Bliss earned her way here by defeating Naomi two weeks ago. But Trish Stratus does not believe that Bliss earned her victory ta WWE REvolution. That’s why the two are tangoing again at WWE Survivor Series in less than two weeks! Scott Dawson will take on Ricochet in singles action! Plus: Isla Dawn is in action once again! Furthermore, according to a rumor first heard by Renee Young, an unnamed rookie intends to challenge the Raw Women’s Champion, Sasha Banks! Whoa!!

As far as the in ring action goes, Toni has built up a lot of tread on her tires. But her recent string and run of matches doesn’t seem to be tapering her determination off. She is notably heavily taped on her elbow, which Vic Joseph said was the result of an attack by Candice LeRae over the weekend during a live event. But Storm was cleared to compete, so the injury is minor. But Bliss certainly targeted the elbow early on. Byron asked Trish if she was impressed by Bliss’ strategy. Stratus responded by saying anybody could attack a taped-up elbow. So, a no huh? Stratus responded by saying she did earn this, but she did not earn her win over her at REvolution. Stratus protested while Bliss cam close to taking Toni down. But Storm resiliently kicked out after being hit with Bliss’ handspring knees. Bliss kept it going here and her eyes went to Trish. She went on the attack here and Stratus stood up! The crowd reacted but Bliss took her eye off the ball. That was an issue!

Storm brought herself back in the fold. She once again had the crowd behind her, just like Friday night in London. She sent Bliss out of the ring here and then slid outside. She grabbed Alexa by the head, ran up, stepped up on the apron and delivered a Tornado DDT!! Advantageous!! She sent Bliss into the ring and then came off the top rope with a huge Cross Body Block! But a near fall ensued!! Bliss got the shoulder up but Storm tried to stay up. She pulled Bliss in and tried butterflying the arms! But Bliss span around and pulled her down into a Backslide! 1! 2! NO!! Bliss then went for a forearm! NO! Storm ducked!! Storm then dropkicked Bliss into the turnbuckles!! Storm rolled back and watched Alexa come forward. A boot to the mid-section, butterflied arms… STORM ZERO! And it was all but academic from there! 1! 2!! 3!!!

WINNER: Toni Storm via pinfall at 10:10. Storm RETAINS the Women’s Intercontinental Title.

After yet another stirring title defense, Toni Storm climbed out of the ring with her championship! She held onto it tightly here but she certainly felt good. She put herself to the test and she passed it!

Meanwhile, Bliss soured in the ring. And suddenly, Trish left the announce table. As it turned out, these two events were related…

Trish slid into the ring…

CHICK KICK TO ALEXA BLISS!!

Stratus stood and smiled, admiring her work. She beat up a defeated Bliss, and then decided to drop down and cover Bliss!? She counted! 1! 2! 3!!!

Stratus gave herself the “victory,” which in her mind, was about as legitimate as Alexa’s was at WWE REvolution!

~ COMMERCIAL BREAK ~

The show returned but we hurried right to the back!

Toni Storm was hurt! She grabbed her taped-up elbow and shooting into the scene was her pal Tegan Nox!

Tiffany Stratton then arrived and she asked Toni what happened. Storm said that she was ambushed! When she was asked by who – she said it was Carmella that confronted her and Niven who blasted her into the crate and hurt her elbow more!

Well that’s an awfully convenient trap!

And it’s not hard to figure out who it was that probably set it…

We then shot to the ring and inside was MVP! MVP was noticeably not with his Franchise Players inside the ring.

“You know, I wanna give a shoutout to the ladies of WWE really quickly,” MVP said to cheers. “Y’all have been holding it down… but The Franchise Players deserve a piece of the pie too, and tonight, we weren’t waiting around to let somebody take all of it.” Respectful, but fair! “You see, it’s been well-documented over the past few weeks that not only do The Revival and Team Taz fear The Franchise Players, but they also are incredibly and increasingly insecure about our presence on this show.” Strong words. “See this dates back to last month. The Revival were upset that my boys got drafted here on Raw before them. Well let me ask you something Dash, and let me ask you something Dawson, why are you mad that I looked out for my people?” Well… “I’m sorry that YOUR representation didn’t take care of you. I’m sorry that you don’t have someone looking out for you and your best interests. That’s not how MVP does business. When you show me loyalty, I show you loyalty.”

Porter kept looking around and then at the camera. “But that’s why tonight, here in the VIP Lounge, the return of the greatest talk show in WWE history.” Bold claim! “That’s why I have invited the guest for this edition of The VIP Lounge. So without further ado, ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the leader of Team Taz… Taz!”

And out walked Taz to a huge ovation from the Manchester crowd! Taz marched to the ring and seemed appreciative of the reaction he received. He then made his way through here as a large man opened up the way to the lounge. Taz walked inside and then came through here as Porter welcomed him. He encouraged him to sit down and Taz decided to do that and went and poured himself something. He drank it and then grabbed the microphone.

“Taz, thank you for joining me here on the VIP Lounge,” MVP said. Taz nodded his head and brought the microphone up to his mouth. “Y’know MVP, I just wanna point out to everyone watching right now that a little under 15 years ago, I was sittin’ right over at the desk just like those three, when you debuted here in WWE.” This is true! “And at the time, there were a lot of people who weren’t in your corner. You had the people in the crowd, the WWE Universe, chanting ‘Power Ranger’ at you because of your ring attire.” This, also, is true. MVP didn’t seem too pleased bringing that up, but it is a part of his history. “My point is, MVP, I’ve known you for a long time. I understand the type of person that you are. You do help the people that you’re loyal to. That’s a good thing, I respect that. I really do.” MVP nodded his head as Taz continued along.

“However, the thing that I also know about you is that you’re a snake.” Wow! Quite the accusation! MVP responded incredulously, to which Taz cut him off. “No, no, no. MVP, listen, don’t play dumb. Don’t play stupid with me. I’m still from Red Hook, I don’t give a damn if I’m retired, I’m not retired from dishing out an ass-whooping.” Whew! “Don’t play stupid. Who was the person who leaked to Renee before the Draft that The Revival had ‘attitude issues?’ Who told executives that The Revival were difficult to deal with? Who told execs that my kid, my own flesh and blood, was only here because of nepotism and wouldn’t last a day if he wasn’t my kid?!”

Whew… oh man… the lid is being blown off here. MVP brought the mic back up. “Oh… so insecurity runs throughout your team, does it?” Whew… “Because if you’re so accusatory, Taz, let’s not act like Apollo Crews having ‘attitude issues’ was just conveniently pointed out by Charly Caruso.” We are getting spicy here…

“But Taz, Taz. This isn’t about the WWE Draft. This is about respect. Your boys don’t respect mine, and mine sure as hell don’t respect yours. So what do you say that we settle this the old-fashioned way?”

Well that sounds an awful lot like a challenge! “Are you sayin’ you wanna fight? That’s fine. My guys, your guys, you name the time and you name the place. My boys at Team Taz won’t have any problem kicking The Franchise Players’ asses!”

MVP smiled and brought the mic up. “Any time? Any place?” Taz mouthed off and said yeah, basically. MVP kept smiling. “Well… how about this, Taz. We got Survivor Series comin’ up right?” Taz sounded like he knew what was coming. “Well, my boys… are gonna be in the mood for a fight. So how ‘bout you get three of your boys, I’ll get three of our boys, and we’ll take this thing head on.” MVP didn’t mince any words!

Taz nodded his head, seeming to agree to the challenge!

It looks like in addition to plenty of tags of traditional variety, we’ll be mixing it up in other ways as well!

Backstage, Seth Rollins gleefully was seen walking around backstage. He and Pete Dunne walked into Commissioner Regal’s office. They arrived and Regal acknowledged both of them. Regal said he heard everything that they had to say last week. He warned them that the three of them need to be very careful. Rollins claimed there was no reason for them to fear anything or anyone! Regal asked him if he thought that for sure, because he had news for them: Tonight, they would be in tag team action! Rollins and Dunne looked a bit surprised as Regal informed them that their opponents would be Drew McIntyre and a friend of his! Rollins then let out a laugh and claimed that there was no way Drew had any friends! Regal told him that that wasn’t true, and that they better be prepared because they were going to find everything out… NEXT!

A vignette then aired, promoting the ‘SMASHING’ debut of The Sassy Southern Belles in two weeks!

~ COMMERCIAL BREAK ~

We came back from the broadcast and Seth Rollins and Pete Dunne made their introduction. They walked down to the ring together, confidently at that, as they felt there was no way that Drew McIntyre would present a threat to them. He had no friends! Rollins and Dunne got into the ring and then Drew McIntyre made his way out!

Drew received a HUGE ovation from the Manchester crowd! McIntyre looked to be in no mood but, to prove a point, stood and waited… and waited some more…

And then his partner arrived! It’s

CHAD GABLE!

Well that’s a heck of a pick! Drew just picked one of the hottest superstars going today!

2 – Tag Team Match
Chad Gable & Drew McIntyre vs. The Inevitables

As commentary pointed out, Chad Gable had been one of the hottest superstars on the Raw brand since being drafted. He’s collected consecutive victories since he set foot back on the brand in consecutive weeks. Now, he could give Drew Mac the boost he needs to get one over on The Inevitables. They have been a thorn in Drew’s side for a time and now he’s hoping to turn the tide! Commentary does discuss, however, the major problem he faces. Just because Chad Gable is his partner tonight… does it mean it’s going to happen at Survivor Series? Drew’s already down 3-1! But perhaps they’re wrong and perhaps Chad Gable will be part of the group! He’s sure proving to be a great tag team partner for McIntyre. That’s not too surprising of course! Gable has worked well with plenty others including Jason Jordan and Shelton Benjamin.

Gable took on the best from Dunne and Rollins. Commentary did point out, of course, that Gable’s run began with Dunne. It seemed Pete was out for revenge. Unfortunately for The Bruiserweight, Gable had many of his moves scouted and he held the advantage over him! Rollins found himself on par with Gable. That said more about the latter than the former, which visibly irritated Rollins. Gable had an answer for everything the man once dubbed ‘The Architect’ had for him. And eventually, Gable started creating questions for Seth to answer! For a team that was just crafted tonight, Gable and McIntyre worked quite well with each other!

Towards the end of the matchup, Rollins climbed up to the top rope! But Gable was there to meet him eventually! Chad raced up, a move very Kurt Angle-like, and sent Seth flying with a huge throw!! WOW!! Gable then went in and grabbed Rollins as he got up. He hit the corner, rolled back… CHAOS THEORY! NO! Rollins landed on his feet! Superkick to the back of the head! Rollins then ran off the ropes and aimed to hit The Stomp! NO!! Gable moved out of the way!! Gable then sprinted, grabbed Rollins as he hit the ropes, rolled back and into a pinning combination! 1! Gable leaned ALL the way back and trapped Dunne! 2! 3!!!

WINNERS: Chad Gable & Drew McIntyre via pinfall at 11:24

Wow!!

Giddy up!! Chad Gable is going up!! Gable excitedly reacted to the victory as he hugged McIntyre on their way up the ramp! Dunne meanwhile pitched a huge fit while Rollins angrily threw a chair on the outside! Not the greatest look for the losers here, but a huge and much-needed win for Drew McIntyre and his side of the coin!

UP NEXT: AJ Lee would hold court with Bayley and Sasha Banks!

~ COMMERCIAL BREAK ~

Back from break, and a conflicted-looking Dakota Kai could be seen chatting with a concerned Tegan Nox. That’s…interesting…

A video package played to bring us up to speed in this ongoing saga…

AJ Lee appeared in the ring next. Lee commanded the attention of the Manchester crowd, who were happy to see her. Lee first addressed the attack on Toni Storm. Lee, in fact, claimed responsibility for it in behalf of Ruby Riott. Wow! Lee asked what anyone was gonna do about it, it’s been done, and now Toni might be hurt. Lee said that’s exactly what they planned to do and that’s what they did.

Lee then introduced the Raw and Smackdown Women’s Champions! Bayley and Sasha Banks made their way to the ring. Banks was seen in ring gear, perpetuating the rumor from before that someone wished to challenge her! Bay and Banks arrived into the ring and hugged AJ. They were buddy-buddy here. Lee said that they asked for this time with her because Bayley had a challenge in mind.

Bayley quickly responded and said that was true. The Smackdown Women’s Champion got on the microphone and looked out at the crowd. She was annoyed at first though because they wouldn’t shut up, as they doused her with a singsong of ‘HEY BAYLEY!’ Bayley voiced her displeasure, earning some heat from the crowd, as any pro would do.

“Y’know AJ, I know you know a lot about being a voice for the voiceless. And right now I’m gonna take a page out of your book and speak on behalf of me, on behalf of Sasha Banks, and on behalf of a lot of women who have set foot in a WWE ring. Becky Lynch… Charlotte Flair… I don’t like you!” Wow. So rude… and so emphatic…

“I don’t like either of you. I don’t like what either of you represent. I don’t like how both of you get your accomplishments all glossy while Sasha and I have had to actually FIGHT to get to the mountaintop! I don’t like how you’re holding OUR Women’s Tag Team Championships! I don’t think you two are a good team at all! You don’t even like each other!! The only reason that you two are together in the first place was because somebody above us probably laughed and said, ‘You know who would be a good tag team partner for Becky Lynch? DING DONG, HELLO? CHARLOTTE FLAIR! HAHAHA!’ Something like that, and you’ve been walkin’ around with those Tag Team Titles and you HAVEN’T EVEN DEFENDED THEM!!” Bayley shouted. Infuriated was The Hugger…

“So beyond EVERYTHING… you two are holding what we fought for hostage. And we’re not gonna take it anymore. Becky? Charlotte? At Survivor Series, it will BE a fight for the gold because we’re putting ALL of the gold on the line!”

Whoa now… Giddy up…

“The two of you versus the two of us. My Smackdown Women’s Championship, Sasha Banks’ Raw Women’s Championship, OUR Women’s Tag Team Championships. The biggest women’s match of ALL TIME! And once and for all will show who has SUPREMACY in the women’s division!”

Wow!! What a thunderous challenge that is!

…And then everything turned upside down.

An unfamiliar beat played but a familiar name to the UK appeared on the TitanTron!

DAKOTA KAI!

Well… she’s in the building! She is a rookie! And… well, does she have title aspirations? I guess we’re gonna find out! Dakota made her way to the ring, dressed to compete in black attire with neon colors adorned on it. Her short, brown hair with blonde streaks in it flowed as she marched down the aisle. Kai stopped short of the ring and looked like she was approaching a shark tank. But the daring Dakota jumped up at the apron anyway! She climbed into the ring, a bit fired up here, noticeably so!

The crowd looked on and cheered for the gal as Bayley sized her up. “And just what the heck do you think you’re doing here?” Bayley quizzed Kai, looking befuddled by her appearance. “This isn’t Friday Night Smackdown, Dakota Kai. This is Monday Night Raw. Okay? I’m here because I’m the champion and what I say goes. You’re here for some reason but you look like you’re looking for trouble right now.”

Not flinching, Kai grabbed a microphone and pulled it up.

“Well either I’m looking for trouble or trouble was gonna find me.” Hey now! “Bayley I’m here… for two reasons now actually. I had one reason and then another one came up so. AJ Lee?” Dakota looked at AJ in the eyes. “I had respect for you and now all I can think about is how stupid I was for that!” Well damn! “You orchestrated an attack on Toni Storm tonight. You girls got your wish, Toni’s hurt, she’s hurt bad.” Woof… not ideal… “But Toni is damn sure not willing to let someone win over her so she’s not gonna miss a single day in this ring. I can assure you all of that!” Hell yeah!
se
“So your plan, AJ, might have worked for a night but it’s only temporary. Temporary describes my respect for you and for you Bayley and for you, Sasha.” Whoosh… “When I was trying to break through in this industry, I came around NXT the same time as you two. I could tell as an outsider, as someone that had to grind it out, that you two were different. That you two were gamechangers. So I respected you. But to see you two become selfish, needy, whiny, petulant people like you have the last month? I think that I can be a voice of the voiceless because it makes the girls like me sick!”

And we have ourselves a situation here… “Now… my second reason. I didn’t come here just to be a face in the crowd. I want to break through and the only way that I can do that is if I wrestle the very best.” Dakota looked right at Sasha. Gee… I wonder… “Putting aside my personal distaste for you, Sasha Banks…” Whoa now… WHOA NOW… “There’s no one on the planet that I’ve wanted to share a ring with more than you.” Whew. Bold words. Sasha smirks. “So I might be new to Raw, Sasha… but I challenge you anyway right here, right now, for that Raw Women’s Championship!”

Wow!! WOW!! Bayley looks like she’s about to keel over and laugh. However, before she can say anything… Banks steps up…

“Look at you! Look at you… look at you, this is cute, this is funny,” Banks says. “This is so-we’re in England! You, you made a name for yourself here. Right? Don’t you guys love Dakota Kai?” Sasha asked, receiving her answer in the form of cheers. “Yeah. That would be so special wouldn’t it? Yeah… well… you know, I thought about it, Dakota, and… honestly? Yeah? Listen. To be honest with you, normally on any other day, I would say ‘No’ to you.” Well… that’s a statement! “I mean, why would I ever subject myself to sharing a ring with someone like you?” Harsh…

“Like. Dakota, you say you grinded it out? Yeah, you did. So did I, but it’s almost 2020. I don’t get in the ring with someone not far removed from a bingo hall. I am Sasha Banks. Okay?” Banks was earning that heat now. “I am everything that they say I am. I am the best. I am the Standard and the Blueprint of excellence. So I don’t get in the ring with just anybody and I sure as Hell don’t waste my time with a rookie looking to make a name for herself off my million-dollar name.” Ouch. I mean, what a bitch, right?

“But…” Banks cheaply smiled. It was so fake. “You caught me on a great day because I have a point to freaking prove. I am sick and tired of people saying Becky Lynch is better than me. I am sick and tired of people acting like I’m not the best. And I’m sick and tired of going through every day without being recognized as the best. So that is why I am in agreement with my best friend Bayley. We should be the Women’s Tag Team Champions because we are the BEST in the women’s division and always HAVE BEEN!”

Kinda losing the plot here but… that’s Sasha, baby. “So I have to prove that I’m the best. And well, I can’t think of a better way to do that than to successfully defend my title. So for the FIRST TIME since I won this Raw Women’s Championship… I will defend it against you, cute little Dakota Kai, right here and right NOW!”

Whew!!

Kai then split out of the ring just as Bayley went to jump her!

Kai grabbed the mic and pulled it away. “No see, I’m not gonna let anyone take control of the situation like that. Especially not when I’m smart enough to call for backup…”

Hmm???

Backup???

“CELTIC INVASION”

OH!! OH!! Oh my!!

Well there’s no dumb babyface trope here folks! Dakota Kai solicited the help of THE MAN!

Becky Lynch stormed out with a wide grin.

Bayley and Sasha CLEARLY weren’t expecting this and neither was anyone else!! But here we are!!

And here we go!!

~ COMMERCIAL BREAK ~

3 – RAW WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Raw Women’s Champ, Sasha Banks (w/ Bayley) defends against Dakota Kai (w/ Becky Lynch)

*AJ Lee on commentary*
The match officially began after the commercial break but during that break, Bayley and Becky exchanged a war of words that suggested we might see all hell break loose again! But they were quickly calmed down and Becky offered significant encouragement to Dakota Kai. Talk about a stamp! Kai proved to be slippery for the cocky Banks to deal with in the early goings. It looked like Sasha was completely unprepared, because she was, and the exuberant Kai wanted to prove something tonight! As AJ Lee pointed out, she had beaten Naomi before in the Mae Young Classic, so she knows how to win against champions, former or otherwise.

Which is a very fair thing for AJ to say in her current position. This considering Kai is on the opposite end at Survivor Series. Kai kept the momentum going until she made a mistake. Kai overpursued her and flew through the ropes! Kai grabbed the middle rope to stop her from falling. But Banks took her down anyway with a running dropkick to the face! Banks then showboated, as only she can, before she ran up and dove OVER THE TOP ROPE WITH A SOMERSAULT DOWN ON DAKOTA KAI!! “And that’s why Sasha Banks is one of the best in the entire world, whether you like her or not!” we could hear Bayley scream off commentary. Sasha strutted in front of Lynch, which drew some ire, but ultimately nothing physical.

Banks maintained the advantage throughout the commercial break as she bullied Kai a bit and got in control. Becky helped get the crowd behind Dakota, as the faithful English audience knew her quite well to begin with. Now with the former Raw Women’s Champion behind her, that support grew tenfold. Dakota wormed her way out of Sasha’s grasp and then ran her into the corner! She went to pull her back but tumbled away without her! Banks turned around and ran up for a Standing Meteroa! But Dakota countered it into a Sit-Out Powerbomb! OH!! 1! 2! NO!! The incredible counter drew excitement from the ravenous Manchester fans. What a move! Kai pulled herself back and waited as Banks got up and ran over.

Kai then propped herself up and WHAM! SCORPION KICK! Oh what a move! It stunned Sasha enough to put her on skates. Dakota ran over, kicked Sasha in the gut, put her between her legs, and pulled her up! STORM ZERO!?! STORM ZERO!! 1! 2! NO!! Banks kicked out of Toni Storm’s finisher! A nod to her friend, Dakota got up and stayed on the champion. She sent Banks to the outside as she barreled towards the Smackdown Women’s Champion. Bayley helped her friend to her feet but meanwhile, Kai climbed up to the top rope! Kai then launched herself off the top rope!!

Only for BAYLEY to shove Sasha away!! BAYLEY TOOK THE BULLET!!

Banks then looks to surprise Dakota. She sneaks up on her and launches her way!

But Becky pushes Dakota out of the way! And eats it!!

Banks, annoyed, grabs Kai and throws her in the ring. Banks went to work then and looked to finish the match. Dakota rolled her up though!! Near fall!! Dakota stunned Banks again and flattened her on the mat!! Kai went high-risk again, as she launched off the top rope looking for another cross body block! And she hit it! But Banks rolled up with her!! She picked her up horizontally and stood. She threw Kai around and SLAMMED her to the mat! BANK STATEMENT!! DAKOTA KAI TAPPED OUT!!

WINNER: Sasha Banks via submission at 10:02. Banks RETAINED the Raw Women’s Championship.

Banks and Bayley celebrated the title victory in the ring! Kai rolled herself out of the ring but didn’t appear humiliated. Hurt, wounded, for sure. Humiliated? Not so much. Becky told her to keep her chin up and patted her on the back. Lynch then took a look at the two of them in the ring. She didn’t stay for very long!!

The Man went in to pick a fight and she picked one alright!! Lynch attacked both Banks and Bayley in the ring!! She picked at them with right hands but the two of them began to overwhelm her!! Lynch fought on valiantly but the two-on-one from the Raw and Smackdown Women’s Champions became far too much for her to deal with!! At least alone!!

If only someone could help her!!

“RECOGNITION”

OH! THERE SHE IS!! IT’S THE QUEEN! SHE’S BACK!!

CHARLOTTE FLAIR stormed to the ring!! The Queen had a bruised-up face and a bandage over it but that didn’t matter right now!! She dove into the ring and tackled Bayley as she approached her!! Banks focused on Becky but The Queen dismissed The Hugger and then grabbed Sasha by the hair!! She yanked her away from Becky and started to pepper her with strikes!! She stunned Sasha and then ran off to the ropes, shot off and BIG BOOT TO THE RAW WOMEN’S CHAMPION!!

Banks ate it and then Bayley acted in self-preservation as she got the hell out of dodge!! Charlotte was ticked!! She grabbed a mic quickly and brought it up. “Oh really!? REALLY!!? You’re gonna run now, Bayley, huh!?!” Boy, The Queen wasn’t happy. “Why don’t you hit the showers in the back you’ve got a yellow line down your back, you coward!” Whew!! Bayley looked angered as she walked back with Sasha.

“Yeah, that’s just the kind of behavior I’d expect. Especially from two people who attack other people from behind. When they don’t have a chance to defend themselves. When they don’t have the opportunity to even know what hit them.” Well it’s not hard to understand what Charlotte Flair is referring to… “You two could decide to carry yourselves with honor. With respect. With dignity. Common decency, and yet, your egos keep getting in the way of common sense. So if that’s going to keep happening,” she said as Becky got up to her feet.

“Becky? You know as well as I do that I come from the family of the Dirtiest Player in the Game.” WOOOOOs followed out. Becky nodded her head. “I’m sick and tired of decorum, Becky. I’m taking charge right now.” Sheesh! “First of all… on behalf of Becky and I, your challenge for Survivor Series?? We ACCEPT!” Cheers!! “But you know what Becky? If these two wanna keep putting their hands on us? You had the right idea trying to get in here and kick their ass just like you did last week!” Cheers! “But I’m sick and tired of expecting these two to have any sort of respect for us. We’re not going to find it. They’re not interested in it. So you know what Becky? You know what I wanna know? Why the hell are we not playing by their rules?” Wow, alright then! Becky puts her hands on her hips. “These two think that they can stand there and take everything that the two of us have EARNED?” Charlotte gets up to Becky and her grill. Becky stiffens up. “They wanna act like we were chosen? That nothing else is happening around them? Yeah, you know why they chose us Becky? Because we’re that damn GOOD!” Points were made…

“And then we go out there and we inspire a generation every single time we set foot in this ring. Time and time again, we leave the imprints, we make the moments, and we cash the checks!” That last part is super important. “And these two wanna disprove that? These two wanna focus on the negative? Like you two aren’t walking, talking, Hall of Famers?” Charlotte eyed both of them up here from the ring. “You wanna cry that you just haven’t been good enough to beat us? You wanna make this something that it isn’t? Bayley, Sasha, it doesn’t have to be this way. It never had to be this way.”

Flair looked on at the two of them as Bayley held Banks up. “All that the four of us had to keep doing is make history. All that we had to keep doing was inspiring generation after generation after generation. Keep doing what we do best and that’s be the best. But you didn’t want that. Both of you don’t feel validated unless the whole world is about you. Well I never wanted to be the one to tell you this but the world does not revolve around Bayley and Sasha Banks.” Wow-wee!! “It revolves around you two… and it revolves around Charlotte Flair. It revolves around Becky Lynch. And it revolves around Asuka… Alexa Bliss… Toni Storm… Dakota Kai… Tegan Nox… it revolves around us all. You want the world? The two of you want it all? You better start praying every night because that’s the only chance that you have to take all this from us!!”

Charlotte is INSPIRING out here!! “All of this to say… Becks?” Becky looked over at Flair. “What’s say we don’t wait until Survivor Series?” Charlotte smirked as Becky formed a small one also. She reached out and grabbed the mic. “So you’re sayin’… fight fire…” Lynch turned her head at Bayley and Banks on the outside. “With straight fire…?” There’s the line!! Flair nodded her head and Lynch flipped the mic up in the air!

Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair jumped out of the ring and then started brawling with Bayley and Sasha Banks!!!

The brawl broke out but William Regal was quickly on the case! Regal, Robert Stone, and Tiffany Stratton sent a litany of security officers down to break up the fight! The last few weeks between these two have been hellacious, so it’s probably understandable why Regal would want to snuff this out. And snuff it out he did to the dismay of everyone in attendance! But that’s what you gotta do sometimes!

As things settled down, Vic Joseph informed the audience that Bayley and Sasha were sequestered to their bus while Becky and Charlotte were reportedly sent to an undisclosed location on another bus!

4 – Singles Match
Dominik Dijakovic vs. Isaiah ‘Swerve’ Scott

An opportunity presents itself for Dominik Dijakovic and former United States Champion Isaiah ‘Swerve’ Scott. Dijakovic, representing Team Taz, takes on Swerve who could sure use some backup right now. And some direction. Since he fell in Harper’s crosshairs, it’s been nothing but trouble. That doesn’t really stop here either. He gets in some offense on Dijakovic, but Dominik is motivated in a way we haven’t seen yet here! And he takes advantage of his opportunity and drops Swerve! He hits him with the Feast Your Eyes and takes him out, 1-2-3!
WINNER: Dominik Dijakovic via pinfall at 7:39.

After the match, Dominik Dijakovic issued a challenge to Harper for his United States Championship!

Commentary brought us up to speed on the saga between Rey Mysterio and Andrade. Mysterio took off from the overseas tour because of an attack on his son Dominik reportedly by The Expat Express.

That brought us to an interview backstage. Renee Young interviewed Zelina Vega. Vega said that, first of all, Dominik Dijakovic better understand that just because he wants a United States Championship Match doesn’t mean he’s going to just get one like that. Renee focused more on what happened last week with Dominik Mysterio. Zelina said that she had no comment on it, because there was nothing to say. Rey Mysterio is here, but everyone knows that his mind is in a different place. Renee pressured Zelina and asked if she claimed responsibility for what happened to Dominik. She said that Andrade would answer all of the questions… next week in Boston.

UP NEXT: The Universal Champion Finn Balor!

~ COMMERCIAL BREAK ~

The embattled Dakota Kai marched backstage. She entered the locker room here and looked over and across and saw Toni Storm. Dakota asked her if she was alright and she nodded and said she’ll survive. Toni commended Dakota and her performance tonight. Just then, Asuka emerged. The Empress chatted up Dakota, and definitely appeared to offer respect to Dakota too! That’s quite an endorsement!

Manchester kind of erupts for Finn Balor! Finn walks out to his new, bumping entrance music with the United States Champion, Harper, closely following him. Finn takes a spotlight along with him as all eyes are on him. Vic Joseph notes that it has been nine weeks since Balor shocked the world and cashed in Money in the Bank at Madison Square Garden on Seth Rollins. Balor gets into the ring here with Harper and takes center stage.

“Ladies and gentlemen of Manchester… your Universal Champion is in the building,” Balor said to cheers. “It sure is nice to see a crowd that respects its Universal Champion,” he said looking around at the crowd in the arena. “I don’t give a damn about any of you, but I’m glad that you know that I am the most important superstar in the world today!” Someone has a very high opinion of themselves. “Nine weeks ago, I shocked the world and I cashed in Money in the Bank.” A mixed reaction this time from the crowd. “And ever since then, everything has gone right for Finn Balor. I have retaken my spot at the top of this company. I have been undefeated since I made my return. All year long, this has been Finn Balor’s year. I have said it from the very beginning. I won at WrestleMania. I won Money in the Bank. I cashed in Money in the Bank. Finn Balor is the hottest professional wrestler in the world today in probably more ways than one.”

Finn grinned and licked his lips after that one. “They stacked three pins up for me at No Mercy, a Fatal Four-Way Match in my first title defense. They thought they could get back at me for tarnishing the great spirit of Madison Square Garden.” Well, that’s an interesting story… “The traditionalists of this business have never been fans of Finn Balor. Everywhere I go, I break ground, I break rules, I don’t give a damn about what anybody thinks of me. And people are threatened by that. People are threatened by that because it represents power. I have power.”

Finn hoists up his title belt for all to see. “Visible… and invisible. I have power because every time I hold a microphone all your mouths go shut and all your eyes go right to me. I have said it before and I will say it again. Finn Balor doesn’t watch this business, this business watches Finn Balor!! There are great champions on this brand. Daniel Bryan, Rey Mysterio, Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, just to name a few. And yet I am still the most important person on this show.” What you may say is true,

“But speaking of great champions, before I get to a man who isn’t a great champion, allow me to address right now… … … Alexa Bliss.”

!?!?!

“There it is! I told you Vic! There has been Internet chatter about Alexa Bliss and Finn Balor. He shook her hand in the parking lot of a live event! Something had to be offered!” ~ Corey Graves

“Alexa, since these people can’t stop talking about it. Let me tell these people, the WWE Universe, the intrusive WWE Universe… what I told you. The OC… We can make your life a lot better. And by the looks of it tonight… I think you’re gonna need us more than you think. So it was a pleasure talking to you but Alexa… it would be a greater pleasure for you to join The OC.”

Whoa!! A BOMBSHELL!! Finn Balor has invited Alexa Bliss to join The OC!!

“Now, as far as Brock Lesnar goes…” That certainly got a rise out of the crowd! Balor rolled his eyes. “Brock Lesnar made a fuss just because he busted out of a door. Yeah, he’s big, he’s strong, we get it. Alright? We get it with you, Brock, that’s why when I beat you at Survivor Series I’m not just going to retain my Universal Championship. I’m not just going to beat you. I’m not going to just humiliate you, Brock. I am not going to just embarrass you, outwrestle you, outperform you, outdraw you. Make more MONEY than you with the winner’s purse, Brock Lesnar, because I am BETTER than you and everyone in the world knows it!” Whew. Finn is getting rolling. “I don’t see you on this European tour. This is night seven of 11 for Finn Balor in front of these ungrateful scabs.” Ouch! “I am working every single night, defending my Universal Championship every single night in multiple different countries. Brock, you’re living off your name and a reputation that you built around here almost 20 years ago. Once I get done beating you at Survivor Series, nobody’s going to want to see you again.”

Finn cracked a smile, feeling himself right now. “Nobody is going to want to go to the box office to see Brock Lesnar when they could just see Finn Balor. Brock, I’m tougher than you right now. I’m stronger than you, more skillful, sexier, Brock, I’m badder than you. I’m BETTER than you right now. You can’t touch me. NOBODY can touch Finn Balor in the present! NOBODY!” Finn is not lacking confidence tonight. “I’m either the man that everyone either wakes up wishing that they were or the man that everyone wakes up wishing that they were next to.” Finn laughs as he’s really feeling it tonight.

“So Brock? Survivor Series? I don’t give a damn what feats of strength that you pull off. What kind of viral videos you cook up. How many hay bails you push over at your farm in Saskatchewan. The fact of the matter is I’m going into Chicago as the Universal Champion and I’m walkin’ out of Chicago as the Universal Champion!” Balor says emphatically.

“You are not a great champion anymore, Brock. You lost at WrestleMania to a man that Finn Balor’s never had a problem beating. You haven’t been a great champion in years, and you don’t have your instinct anymore. That’s why you couldn’t beat Kofi Kingston, but now because you’re Brock Lesnar, you get a Universal Championship Match because you say so. Well the next thing that you’re gonna get is an ass-kicking because Finn Balor said so!” Balor shouted, once again grabbing everyone’s attention.

And we meant EVERYONE…

“BURN IT DOWNNNN!”

Whoa! Now this is unexpected!! Seth Rollins emerged from backstage. Rollins, with Pete Dunne carried alongside, walked down the aisle with his eyes on Finn Balor. Balor didn’t seem to appreciate being interrupted but seemed to want Rollins in the ring anyway. The former Universal Champion climbed into the ring with Dunne and took a microphone from the side. “Y’know Finn Balor, I support… anybody who tries to beat Brock Lesnar,” Rollins said. “Brock Lesnar is not my friend. Brock Lesnar will never be Seth Rollins’ friend. And Brock Lesnar won’t ever be better than Seth Freakin’ Rollins either,” Rollins emphatically said to a mixed reaction from the Manchester crowd.

“But you know, you rattled off the names of great champions… without including my name, Finn,” Rollins said, drawing ooohs and ahhhs from the crowd! Finn was quick with a pointed response.

“No, I didn’t,” Balor said, drawing more oooh’s from the crowd. Seth looked like he wanted to rip Balor’s head off right there! “Seth, if you’re such a great champion…why do you fall apart every time I come around when the Universal Championship is on the line?” Whew… WHEW we are getting spicy! “2016, I beat you with one shoulder dangling on a thread. Nine weeks ago, I snuck up on you and I beat you at Madison Square Garden. No Mercy, you still couldn’t get it done.” This did not seem to have a great effect on Rollins… something Finn wanted to egg on.

“You’re not a great champion, Seth. You never have been. You’re all bark and no bite. That’s why, when you were the first NXT Champion, I stole your thunder and became the greatest NXT Champion. Why I beat you and became the first Universal Champion. Why I will be the greatest Universal Champion. Seth, you may have me beat at WrestleMania when you cashed in Money in the Bank… but the beginning of the greatness that is Finn Balor, Universal Champion, will always go back to when I cashed in on YOU!” Boy, did Finn Balor cut in deep there… Rollins stood there, stewing with anger, and brought the mic back up as he got near his face.

“Let me tell you something, Finn,” Rollins said. “I don’t give a damn about your enforcer over there cause I’ve got me a badass behind me as well.” Dunne got some camerawork, which drew a pop from the itk Manchester crowd! “You don’t think I’m a great champion? Nobody would be talking about you if you beat some schmo off the street, Finn Balor. You made a name for yourself off my name, baby,” Rollins said, cracking a smile. “Yeah. You made a name off me, you’ve been making a name off me. One of these days, I’m gonna get in this ring and I’m gonna get my revenge from The Garden, Finn,” Rollins promised. “You’re going to regret what you started and I don’t mean just you and me, baby. Your whole little gang? Yeah. Remember, I don’t just come around by myself anymore. So your boys better understand that if you walk out of Survivor Series as the Universal Champion then Seth Rollins and The Inevitables are gonna be knocking, no, BUSTING through your damn door.”

Wow! WOW! Tensions are flaring up between two of the biggest stars on the show! Rollins and Balor stare at each other angrily for a moment. Seth backs off but threatens him again as he exits the ring with The Bruiserweight. So if Finn Balor is able to conquer Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series, he might have to deal with Seth Rollins immediately!

~ COMMERCIAL BREAK ~

Ruby Riott was set to be interviewed by Renee Young. Just after Young asked her question, Liv Morgan invaded the interview!!

Morgan pounced on Ms. Money in the Bank!! Morgan finally got her opportunity at Riott and she wasn’t waiting until the bell rang!! She beat up Ruby in the back here and ferociously attacked her. She threw her into the wall and sent her flying and stumbling down the entranceway here!! Morgan was fed up with all the crap over the last few months and it was clear that she was getting her revenge here and now!

5 – Singles Match
Ruby Riott vs. Liv Morgan

Morgan and Riott did the dance in the ring. It was obvious to everyone that these two hated each other right now because they were laying it in. Their strikes were chaotic and hard. The movement in the match was disjointed but and rumbly. But these two were not the most choreographed. They didn’t need to be either here at all!! This was a fight!! Morgan looked around later and sensed a trap: Carmella and Niven stalked down to the ring! Pretty good reason why she should sense a trap! Instead of keeping an eye on Ruby, Morgan thought better to try and stamp out the problem. So she climbed up to the top rope and dove off the top rope and crashed down on Niven and ‘Mella! Oh my God!!

Morgan was fired up and she got back into the ring and put Riott on her heels. She drilled her with a Codebreaker, but only got two! Because Ruby’s foot was on the rope! Maybe not coincidentally, Morgan turned around to find AJ Lee skulking around ringside now! The odds were clearly against Liv here and she knew it. So she got out of the ring and with Ruby despondent she got in AJ’s face! Lee smirked as she looked incredulous to Morgan getting in her face. But Liv told her to stay out of the way or she’d take her down! AJ glared back at Morgan as she climbed up to the top rope. Liv then delivered a missile dropkick to Ruby!! Morgan got up to her feet as Ruby stumbled back into the ropes. Perfect position for Morgan to hit OBLIVION!! 1! 2!!

CARMELLA AND NIVEN ATTACK LIV!!

WINNER: Liv Morgan via disqualification at 7:17.

Not that Ruby Riott probably needed any help… but Carmella and Niven took it upon themselves to start to attack Liv!! Riott looked over as Carmella and Niven picked Liv apart!!

But the tides began to shift!!

ASUKA AND TEGAN NOX scurried down the ramp to come to Liv Morgan’s aid!! Niven tossed Liv down and the two came to blows with the babyfaces!! The two pairs exchanged blows here as they went back and forth with each other!!

And then a rise from the crowd!!!

TONI STORM bolted down the ramp!! Her shoulder and arm heavily taped and all, Storm dove into the ring and joined the fight with her mates!! By this time, the camera picked up Ruby Riott and AJ Lee leaving the scene! WHOA!

Storm, Asuka, and Nox picked Carmella and Niven off and sent them over the top rope and to the floor!! Storm rallied up the troops here and then went to check on Liv Morgan! Storm pulled her up to her feet and hugged her. Shoulder injury be damned, Toni Storm is gonna do what’s right!

~ COMMERCIAL BREAK ~

Backstage, TONI STORM was once again seen. Storm aided LIV MORGAN backstage here as her mates looked on.

“Hey, listen,” Storm said. “I know there’s no way in Hell that you’re considering being on Ruby Riott’s team at Survivor Series.”

Morgan looked Storm in the face and shook her head. “No freaking chance,” said Liv.

“Well, we’re all on Smackdown, and I find Candice LeRae absolutely detestable. And she was suggested, but as captain, I have the final say. Liv Morgan, welcome to my team,” Storm announced! She smiled and shook Liv’s hand and Liv seemed extremely excited about the opportunity!

Elsewhere backstage… FINN BALOR is on his way out of the building, seemingly. He walks by CHARLOTTE FLAIR who gives him a look. Finn stops and looks and sees BECKY LYNCH walk through the door. Lynch looks at Balor and sizes him up as Charlotte gives her a look. Becky keeps eying Finn.

“Alexa, huh? That’s where you’re looking, huh?” Becky asked. Wow… A response to that?

“What? Is The Man jealous?” Finn asked, smiling like an asshole. He laughed and walked away. Becky stared…

“BOOYAKA (619)” blasted over the airwaves! The TV Champion had arrived! Rey Mysterio made his way out and didn’t look happy. Nor should he be under these circumstances. Mysterio will surely be fighting for his son Dominik, who is laid up apparently after an attack that The Expat Express may be responsible for!

~ COMMERCIAL BREAK ~

DREW MCINTYRE led CHAD GABLE along backstage here. The two superstars came across two other budding superstars around here: The Street Profits! McIntyre eyed them and told them they looked hungry for an opportunity. Tez refuted his claim and told Drew that they were starving for an opportunity. Drew said that if that’s the case, he’s the captain, and he has the final say, so he wants them on his team at Survivor Series… IF! They can win a match next week. Dawkins asked him if that’s all they really had to do and Drew responded,

“I wanna make sure that the guys I pick for my team not only look the part but play the part too. You guys are young, hungry, and competitive. I can say that for Chad too, and that’s why he’s on the team now. So you two? Next week in Boston, you win, you’re in. It’s that simple.” The Profits seemed to have no problem with this! Drew said that he’d ensure that Commissioner Regal gives them a fair opponent.

6 – WWE TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Rey Mysterio defends against ‘The Inevitable’ Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan and Rey Mysterio put on their working boots tonight. These two wrestled earlier in the year at Backlash but it’s clear that this match superseded that. They were allotted a lot of time and they made the most of it with hell of a match that kept the Manchester fans on their feet! Such a feat isn’t surprising considering the participants, but it proved to be nothing short of great.

The two men fought on the outside late in the matchup, both digging deep to try and prove they were the better man. Mysterio ducked a right hand from Bryan and then went to shove him into the ringpost! But Bryan quickly turned around and careened his elbow into Rey’s head!! With him woozy, Bryan grabbed Mysterio and sent him into the ringpost instead!!

Bryan then preye don him and as Rey was crawling away, ran up and kneed him in the head! Bryan grabbed him and threw him inside the ring. He went for the cover on him, but Rey kicked out!! Bryan was beside himself, and then further got angered when he saw CHAD GABLE and DREW MCINTYRE make their way out!!

Gable and McIntyre took a seat down at ringside here. They were obviously not on Bryan’s side and it clearly annoyed him that they were around. But what about Mysterio? They speculated that Rey could be the 5th member of the team Drew is captaining at Survivor Series. Certainly, that would be a huge prospect and there has been some intersection of enemies here, so it would chalk!

Late in the matchup, as SETH ROLLINS and PETE DUNNE have joined the ringside area too, Bryan and Mysterio have engaged in a strike-fest! Bryan is chopping the hell out of Mysterio’s chest, but Mysterio won’t go down and keeps forearming Bryan!! Bryan elbows Rey in the head and then lifts him up for a German Suplex! NO! Rey lands on his feet! He bounces back against the ropes and hits a dropkick on Bryan! He sets him up for the 619! But Rey then gets distracted! Because he sees ANDRADE at ringside! Oh shit!!

Rey’s eyes light up as he loudly shouts at Andrade. Andrade smirks and laughs at him and taunts him. But then Rey finaly refocuses! He runs in and goes for the 619 with Bryan still prone!

NO!! BRYAN GETS OUT OF THE WAY!! Bryan then pulls himself up and runs in. BANG!! FLYING KNEE TO THE FACE!! 1! 2!! AND DANIEL BRYAN IS THE NEW TV CHAMPION!!

WINNER: Daniel Bryan via pinfall at 18:17. Bryan WINS the TV Title.

Ballgame!! Bryan needed an inch and he got it and he made the most of it!! Because now he’s the new TV Champion!!

Rollins gets in after a BUSY night and celebrates with his guy! Dunne joins in also. Andrade, meanwhile, laughs at Rey from ringside. He climbs over the barricade here and laughs at him some more. Rey has plenty of reason to have been pissed off at Andrade, but he was in a tight jam there!

And it’s Bryan who emerged victorious from it!!

A sign of things to come for the bad guys on Monday Night Raw??

END OF SHOW

WWE NXT Quick Fire Report || November 13th, 2019

The Road to the NXT Chi-Town Rumble carries on tonight. The Iron Survivor Challenge's continue to take place, gold is on the line, and a bitter rivalry comes to an end.

1. Kyle O’Reilly versus Flash Morgan Webster || NXT Cruiserweight Championship
Straight into action, NXT kicked off with the Cruiserweight Championship on the line. Flash Morgan Webster’s win over Joaquin Wilde caught the eyes of O’Reilly looking for contenders. The contest in itself saw Webster fighting from underneath the entire time. That put the crowd solidly behind Flash gicing him momentum to carry on throughout the contest. Webster rallied offense with a hurt leg - right hand and left hand on repeat until O’Reilly cheaply kicked the knee of Webster. The damaged knee spelt disaster for Webster as he tapped to the Kneebar.
Kyle O’Reilly retains the NXT Cruiserweight Championship via Kneebar (13:43)

Kyle O’Reilly’s appearances of the night did not end following his defense. He is flanked by Bobby Fish as the NXT Tag Team Champions speak on their current feud with KUSHIDA and Alex Shelley. O'Reilly puts into fact that Shelley has no place on this show nor in NXT in any capacity. While they respect Shelley, people who get into their business is what bothers them. Fish calls the matters personal, and it will be settled in the ring. The challenge is set - The Undisputed Era versus The Time Splitters at Chi-Town Rumble!

We hear from Keith Lee whose win over Bronson Reed secures a chance to become NXT Champion. Lee says his issues with The Undisputed Era - especially Adam Cole - has motivated him every week. That motivation will not end until Keith Lee is the NXT Champion. Lee does mention he still wants Adam Cole one on one, but he can get that match when he is giving Adam his rematch opportunity.

Ember Moon versus Kris Statlander || Iron Survivor Challenge Qualifier
Ember Moon kicked off the night in action going one on one with the newest NXT superstar Kris Statlander. Statlander was quick to match with speed and veteran instinct of Moon, which impressed the former NXT Women’s Champion. Most of their ten minute affair was Kris reversing against Moon as well as kicking out of multiple near falls. Statlander and Moon fought on the top rope with the latter falling to the mat. That allowed a 450 Splash from Statlander which secured the victory. Statlander shocked Full Sail, Ember Moon, and all of WWE moving into the Iron Survivor Challenge.
Kris Statlander Advances to the Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge via 450 Splash (11:10)

NXT North American Champion Roderick Strong versus Dexter Lumis || Iron Survivor Challenge Qualifier

One Iron Survivor Challenge Qualifier to the next as Dexter Lumis put his bizarre mind games to the test versus the NXT North American Champion Roderick Strong. Lumis spent the early parts of the match crawling around and dodging the champion. However, his strange behavior does not change the fight put up versus Strong. The Silencer almost gave Dexter the win until Strong reached the ropes. Despite Full Sail hoping for another surprise victor it just was not in the cards tonight. Strong took down Lumis with the End of Heartache for an NXT Championship opportunity.
Roderick Strong Advances to the Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge via End of Heartache (07:32)

Cameras caught Ember Moon backstage as she threw pipes and a cart of chairs across the area. The War Goddess caught sight of the cameras while calling them to be closer. Moon tells anyone watching that this isn’t who Ember Moon is, and she is not someone who’s always coming up second. Moon does send congratulations out to Kris Statlander, but she wants a rematch with the new NXT superstar in two weeks.

Tyler Bate versus Drew Gulak || Iron Survivor Challenge Qualifier
This match completes the NXT Champion Iron Survivor Challenge. Bate and Gulak put an even fight to each other trading holds in an even lock up exchange. The rest of the battle was based on mutual respect. The Gu-Lock seemed it would end the action, but Bate maneuvered out into a quick roll up. After the kick out, Bate quickly brought Gulak up to connect with a quick Tyler Driver '97 to win.
Tyler Bate Advances to the Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge via Tyler Driver ‘97 (06:02)

Cameras caught up with The Time Splitters as Alex Shelley accepted The Undisputed Era’s challenge to meet at The Chi-Town Rumble. KUSHIDA wants more than just a tag team match, and they already have it approved by the powers that be. The Time Splitters will meet The Undisputed Era in a Chicago Street Fight!

Kay Lee Ray versus “Hot Mess” Chelsea Green with Rachael Evers || Iron Survivor Challenge Qualifier

Kay Lee Ray has been craving gold since losing to Bianca Belair, but VXT’s hot mess Chelsea Green stood in her way. Ray showed off her young veteran status by controlling offense early on forcing Green to avoid action by strategizing with Evers. Kay Lee Ray's high risk desire for victory is what would cost her the win. Chelsea Green pulled Ray off the top rope into an immediate pinfall to secure the victory - without the assist Evers holding Green's feet on the ropes.
Chelsea Green Advances to the Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge via Roll-Up (06:43)

Jordan Myles
spoke with Cathy Kelley regarding the NXT Champion’s attack last week. He did not get a word in however as Adam Cole interrupted. Cole says last week's attack on Myles was a statement and a warning. The statement that Cole is the NXT Champion, and the warning that no man is going to take away his championship. Adam Cole tries to carry on words while Myles interrupts the champion. Jordan Myles understood the attack, but he sees his opportunity for a statement and a warning. The warning comes now that Myles will be leaving Chicago as NXT Champion. The statement comes next week when he beats Adam Cole one on one.

Drew Gulak is recovering backstage alongside Danny Garcia. Gulak tells Garcia how his loss to Bate came to be, and it will be something in their tapes to be studied. Santana and Ortiz enter the scene making fun of Gulak’s loss - calling him a bad excuse of a wrestler and a teacher. Garcia challenges Santa and Ortiz to a tag team match and it is accepted.

Bronson Reed with Shane Thorne and Brendan Vink versus Jeet Rama

WWE Performance Center standout Jeet Rama had the opportunity to impress on NXT this week, but it is not easy with The Mighty Don't Kneel's Bronson Reed across the corner. Bronson Reed dominated Jeet Rama with multiple slams and throwing his weight onto Jeet with any given opportunity. Bronson's Second Rope Splash put away Jeet Rama in mere minutes.
Bronson Reed via Second Rope Splash (02:53)

Shane Thorne reminded the NXT fans the monster that is Bronson Reed and the dominance which comes with The Mighty Don’t Kneel. He is not necessarily calling Keith Lee’s victory a fluke, but he does know Bronson Reed should be the next NXT Champion. The Mighty Don’t Kneel will be in Chicago, watching and waiting for whoever comes out as the winner.

Mia Yim versus “The Virtuosa” Deonna Purrazzo || Two Out of Three Falls Match
The main event is the third and final encounter between The HBIC Mia Yim and The Virtuosa Deonna Purrazzo. Mia Yim is searching for momentum into her upcoming Smackdown career, but Deonna wants to continue her own as the third Mae Young Classic winner. It seems The Virtuosa had a plan all along to make that true. The first fall was awarded to Mia Yim within the first four minutes as Purrazzo assaulted The HBIC with a steel chair. A fair part of the match was based on Deonna dominating her rival, but it was when Mia showed resilience is when VXT made their appearance. It turns out that Chelsea Green would be the reason for the second fall of the match, but it was just not to Deonna's favor. Purrazzo was close to accidentally knocking Green off the apron, which allowed Mia Yim to connect Eat Defeat to her distracted rival.

With the score one to one is where the action fully came to life. Yim and Purrazzo fought with all they had with near falls going into the last minute. Nothing seemed to end the contest, which inspired The HBIC to go to the top rope. Even then she was met once again by Deonna. Purrazzo brought Yim down with the latter's arm crashing into the mat. Deonna locked in Yim with the Fujiwara Armbar to win the final battle.
Deonna Purrazzo via Fujiwara Armbar (2-1) (16:08)

Deonna Purrazzo stands tall to end NXT as the Mae Young Classic winner, The Virtuosa defeats Mia Yim for the final time.

Friday Night Smackdown – November 15, 2019; Philadelphia

Bayley began the show with Sasha Banks beside her. The Raw and Smackdown Women's Champions walked to the ring, hoping to get more gold very soon. Banks started off by saying Charlotte and Becky better be warming their titles up for them because they're coming back home in nine days. Banks said that it was only a matter of time until she and Bayley proved they were the most dominant of this era. Banks once again promised the end of that era on Sunday and that after Survivor Series, nothing would ever be the same. Bayley got on the mic and said that they were going to show the difference between them at Survivor Series. Bayley said that everything that she and Sasha have ever done has been earned. She said that you can't say that about Charlotte, and while Becky worked hard to get up the ladder, in Bayley's eyes, she was going to become another victim of corporate nonsense, just like Charlotte. Bayley said that everyone knew it was true, no matter how many times they wanted to boo them.

Bayley then presented a video for the crowd to see. That video highlighted the greatness of Bayley and Sasha Banks. It was obviously decided upon by the two of them, but it was a terrific video nonetheless that made the two look like the trailblazers they are. Bayley said that video will speak for itself, but she said that in nine days, actions will speak louder than words because they are going to leave no doubt who the dominant champions of this era are. Speaking of that, Bayley moved on to her next topic. The Role Model said that she plans to defend her Smackdown Women’s Title after Survivor Series and said she’s scheduled herself to defend in Brooklyn, in the house that she built - Barclays Center, on December 20th!

Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair then interrupted Bayley and Sasha Banks. The Women's Tag Team Champions marched to the ring and seemed to desire the titles on their adversaries' shoulders. Lynch said that it was here in Philly that Bayley tried to take her out for good. Bayley smiled as she recalled what Lynch reminded everybody of: That Bayley ran a car into hers and nearly put her on the shelf for good. Becky said that she regretted letting her get off scot-free earlier this year and has regretted letting her become the monster she’s become. Becky claimed Bayley was living a lie and she was going to bring reality to her front and center at Survivor Series. That reality? That she and Charlotte Flair are the most dominant women in WWE history!

The two got in a fistfight before the match could even begin! The promo went deep into the quarter-hour, so after we returned, we’d start anew there!

Booker’s Note: Promo went long; had to re-write and re-arrange this show!

1
Singles Match
Bayley
vs. Becky Lynch

The referee let a lot go in this match as these two titans fought around the crowd. They clearly hated each other and seemed to stop at nothing to show exactly that!! Late in the match, Raw Women’s Champion Sasha Banks tried to meddle in the match. Hey!! Banks was supposed to be in Boston!! But what Banks didn’t anticipate was seeing what came barreling at her! It was her rival Charlotte Flair!! Flair's blown up a plan!

Bayley and Becky fought and Lynch nearly caught Bayley napping. But The Role Model kicked out of an inside cradle and then nearly sent Lynch out of the ring. The Man landed on the apron and Banks then tried to swipe at her! But Lynch jumped up and missed her! And Lynch then kicked Banks right in the face!! Bayley then went after her but Becky dropped her with a Hangman’s! Lynch then climbed inside but Bayley CLOBBERED her with a forearm! She went for the Bayley-to-Belly! No! Manhandle Slam! And that was that!

Becky Lynch def. Bayley via pinfall, 12:25.

An unhappy Sasha Banks absolutely unloaded a chair shot across Becky Lynch’s back after the match ended, however! Charlotte Flair could then be seen coming in but Banks sidestepped her and she clobbered The Queen with the chair in the mid-section! And then across the back as well!!

Bayley then eventually made her way up and saw Banks plotting on the outside! The Role Model went out and convened with The Legit Boss. They looked at Charlotte as she clawed her way into the ring. They allowed her to get up and Bayley and Sasha then grabbed a table and slid it in! Bayley then reached for something under the ring and Banks then got up on the apron!

Banks lured Charlotte in as she jumped off and Bayley swung a kendo stick at her! She teed off on her and Bayley then came in and swung it again and slammed it across her back! Bayley then moved on and swung it on Becky!! The defenseless Man got peppered over and over again with the kendo stick!

Bayley laughed as she twirled the stick and nodded her head. If only she knew how it felt two years prior! She disposed of Lynch and then focused her attention on The Queen. Banks then took this opportunity to go in—WHAM! Raw Women’s Championship to the back of Lynch!! Banks stood proudly over Becky with her championship as she cackled.

Bayley, meanwhile, set Charlotte up on the ropes! She tied her up!! SHADES OF AUSTIN AND MICHAELS ON THE ROAD TO MANIA XIV! Bayley mocked Charlotte, strutting in her face, WOO-ing in her face, as she kicked and flailed at her. Banks, meanwhile, dragged Lynch to her feet, and threw her into the ring. Sasha climbed inside as Bayley then grabbed the table and set it up. As Banks got in the ring, The Man began to fight back!!

But the resiliency from Lynch was short-lived as Bayley snuffed it out from behind. Bayley and Sasha mugged Becky while Charlotte was being forced to watch while she was tied up in the ropes!! Officials then began to pour out! But Bayley grabbed her kendo stick and called them off!! She shouted at them to back off. She backed Commissioner Regal off with words that hit quite a chord – “You wouldn’t be my Commissioner without me in Brooklyn four years ago!”

Bayley and her sense of worth climbed into the ring and Banks pulled the lifeless Lynch up as Bayley grabbed the kendo stick again. She pointed at Becky’s damaged ribs with the stick. She then wound up and Bayley swung with her all her might at the ribs!! BAM!! Bayley connected with the stick and broke it!

She then instructed something to Sasha, who grabbed Becky off the mat. Bayley then told Charlotte to ‘watch this,’ as Sasha sent Becky to the ropes. Lynch hits them, wobbles forward as Banks bends down as Bayley runs down—

AND BAYLEY AND SASHA

DELIVER A 3-D TO BECKY LYNCH

THROUGH THE TABLE!!!

Welp, if you’re gonna do it, Philadelphia’s certainly the place! Bayley and Sasha stood tall over Becky and Charlotte tonight. But would they do the same a week from Sunday at Survivor Series!?

Booker’s Note: Long again! Re-writing and re-arranging as we go along.

{Commercial Break}

A replay aired of the wild events that took place right before the break! We then saw Becky Lynch being stretchered up the ramp to the back and then being loaded into an ambulance as Charlotte joined her best friend inside.

Backstage, Bayley and Sasha licked their chops from what they did tonight. Before they appeared to go for the exits, Bayley told Banks that she had something she wanted to take care of. Sasha nodded her head and walked away.

Bayley then went down the hallway. The Smackdown Women’s Champion lumbered over and then found someone that she appeared to have been looking for from a distance: The Rock ‘N Wrestling Cup holder Jamie Hayter! Whoa now…

Bayley talked to Jamie about the fact that she hasn’t met her yet, but she wanted to make sure she got to. Hayter responded mum but respectfully, as Bayley said that she grabbed everybody’s attention. But, The Role Model said that as a leader, she wanted to warn Hayter of something. And that’s that there are going to be a lot of people who want her to play a lot of games, and the Smackdown Women’s Champion advised her not to get caught playing the wrong ones.

We had an entrance before our next match…

{Commercial Break}

2
Singles Match
Dakota Kai (w/ Asuka, Liv Morgan, Tegan Nox, and Toni Storm)
vs.
Ruby Riott (w/ AJ Lee, Carmella, and Piper Niven)

Booker’s Note: Originally a tag match… Need time to fill now. Let’s let two workers work.

Dakota and Ruby have plenty of chemistry dating back a few years, so it’s no surprise that they gel really well together here tonight in Philly. Kai and Riott are given a pretty empty canvas, as Ms. Money in the Bank attempts to stay in control of everything. But Dakota has been feeling spry lately, as she challenged Sasha Banks for the Raw Women’s Championship last Monday in Manchester, England. And four days later, she’s right back in action.

Late in the match, AJ stirs up trouble by confronting Tegan Nox. Nox stands her ground and Storm comes over and gets in AJ’s face. Lee and Toni bicker with each other as the referee gets their attention. Meanwhile, Dakota leaps and scores with the KAI-RO-PRACTOR on Riott!! But the referee is distracted and Kai is downed because of her knee! She crawls slowly but she’s then WHACKED in the back of the head with a 2x4! That breaks! From Candice LeRae! Hey! Riott crawls over now and then covers the downed Dakota Kai! The referee returned back and… counted to three!

WINNER: Ruby Riott via pinfall at 12:20.

A video played, highlighting the epic feud and rivalry between The New Day and The Usos, who will collide once more tonight in the main event!

{Commercial Break}

Backstage, Ruby Riott explained that she had found the final member of her Survivor Series team – Candice LeRae! When Kayla Braxton challenged that, saying Candice was the fourth one, Riott told her and everyone else to read between the lines, and they skedaddled…

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn traded barbs while Renee Young attempted to hold court in the ring. Zayn repeatedly called Owens a thief and a fraud. Owens once again stated that all Sami had to do was ask for a rematch, but instead he’s made this personal, which leads him to believe that he’s had this planned for some time. And if that’s the case, then Owens no longer gives a damn. He has made good on his promise not to be a callous individual, but he doesn’t have to be callous to kick someone’s ass who deserves it, and he believes Sami Zayn deserves it at this point. Sami then challenges KO for his Intercontinental Title, and Owens accepts for next week in Chicago!

We got entrances for the next match…

{Commercial Break}

Before the next match, while his buddies The Usos got ready, AJ Styles appeared to take an interest in this next match as he studied his TV screen…

3 Singles Match
Dolph Ziggler
vs. Jason Jordan (w/ Otis)

Stemming from our quarrel the last few weeks, Jason Jordan tangles with Dolph Ziggler in our next contest. Ziggler proves to be a worthy opponent for Jordan as he looks to make good on his recent promise to take over Smackdown and go to the top. But he was smacked around a bit by Ziggler early on who taught him a few early lessons in the beginning of the matchup. But the tide eventually shifted in Jordan’s hands. Once Jordan got to it, he never relinquished it! Otis would get involved in the match when Jordan had the referee distracted. Ziggler would hang tough a bit, but Jordan ultimately SLAMMED him down with the Olympic Slam! 1! 2! 3!!

WINNER: Jason Jordan via pinfall at 2:26.

A recap again of what happened earlier tonight between the fractured Four Horsewomen!

{Commercial Break}

AJ Styles and The Usos went out to cut a promo before our main event. Styles said that while he isn’t the WWE Champion, he’s going to take pride like he won that championship tonight when he sees Kofi Kingston get what he deserves and loses the Tag Team Titles to The Usos! Kind of rude but nevertheless. Styles kept on talking until Randy Orton interrupted.

The Viper said that it was funny to him that he was doing all of this talking. Not just because he believes that The New Day are going to beat The Usos tonight to retain the Smackdown Tag Team Titles, no, but because of a phone call he received earlier tonight. Orton says that he heard that some people might have seen him and that they might have seen him smile.

The Viper admits he didn’t just do that for no reason. He says that what he heard made him smile and that it might make this arena smell as well. A confused crowd listened to Orton, who said that what he means by that, is that if he told them what he heard tonight, then The Usos and The Phenomenal One would soil themselves and make this entire arena stink!

Styles demands an answer out of Orton, but before The Viper can give one, The New Day arrive. Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods get huge pops from the Philly crowd. Kingston and Woods ponder aloud ‘WHO?’ the phone call could have come from. Orton tells each of them he’ll say it them but only if they keep it a secret. Woods says it would be a ‘scout’s honor’ to keep this secret, and Orton tells them both and the two of them each have similarly animated reactions. The Viper decides to… keep it a secret! But down go Woods and Kingston to the ring!

Smackdown Tag Team Championships Match
The New Day © defend against
The Usos

During the break, we learned, AJ Styles went to the back for an undisclosed reason. Whatever the reason, The Phenomenal One missed a banger in front of him. Unsurprisingly, The New Day and The Usos did the dance and danced it well. The chemistry on both ends was on display, as was the fact that Xavier and Kofi were fighting for their fallen friend Big E, so there was a lot of animosity on display. And before an ad break, Bobby Lashley arrived to ringside. An intrigued Lashley appeared to ask Orton the same question that Kofi and Woods asked, and The Viper let The All Mighty in on the secret! Who was the man he heard from!?

After the commercial break, AJ Styles reappeared…with two new allies! Jason Jordan and Otis, who apparently caught AJ’s attention earlier in the show while he was watching. The Phenomenal One gleefully brought them onto the stage here and stayed up there, showing respect towards The Usos and The New Day’s longstanding rivalry.

Things get contentious and a bit chaotic late in the match. Jey and Kofi were fighting on the outside near the likes of Randy Orton. The Viper saw that Jey was going to kick Kofi in the head. So, instead, Orton pushed Kingston away and took the bullet for him! A surprising move, but a move by the captain at Survivor Series nonetheless! That’s what being a leader looks like to some. Kofi pounced back on Jey and on they fought.

Later in the match though, things got a bit rougher. Jimmy was now fighting with Woods and Kofi. He disposed of Woods, the legal man, and fought with the WWE Champion. Kingston kicked Jimmy, but Jimmy responded with a huge forearm! Kingston was rocked to the outside and while that happened, Jey went over and started bickering with Randy Orton! The Viper bickered right back and then meanwhile, Jimmy ran over and barreled into Kingston!! Kofi fell off the apron and crashed into Orton who hit the announce table!! Oh no!!

The Usos’ plan worked!! The WWE Champion was indisposed and Jey slid in with Jimmy. They targeted Woods… DOUBLE SUPERKICKS!!

DOUBLE SPLASHES!!

1! 2!! 3!!!

WINNERS: The Usos via pinfall at 14:00. The Usos WIN the Smackdown Tag Team Titles.

When it seemed like The OC was going to conclude Smackdown, someone disagreed with that!

Quite loudly at that too!

BECKY LYNCH returned to huge fanfare from the Philadelphia crowd! The Man said that the war wasn’t over until The Man said it was over!! Charlotte Flair came out and didn’t bother to try and rationalize with her. Flair got on the mic and said that she wasn’t going to let her fight alone! Becky said that she didn’t give a damn if she had to fight with someone or fight alone; she wanted to fight!! So she challenged Bayley and Sasha to come out to pick up from where they left off because they didn’t finish the job!

And then Sasha’s music hit!! The crowd became electrified as Banks and Bayley came back out!! The Raw and Smackdown Women’s Champions trash-talked Becky and Charlotte. Lynch and Flair said game on and did the very same. The Man grew tired of waiting around and standing on ceremony though!!

Lynch ran up without Charlotte!! The Man threw fists at Bayley and the fight resumed!! Flair eventually got in the mix and started throwing haymakers at Banks!! Bayley and Becky started brawling on the stage and kept throwing BOMBS at each other!

Referees came out to try and break everything up!! No other wrestlers seemed interested in helping out and after the last few months, why would they!?

Our last image of the night was a back-and-forth tussle, which will soon describe what happens when these four go at it in nine days!

Smackdown superstar reportedly injured, Survivor Series match taken off

Fans may have noticed last night during Smackdown that there was no mention of Johnny Gargano and Shinsuke Nakamura. While the show dealt with re-writing issues due to segments going long, another issue surfaced before the show.

Gargano wrestled in the dark match Friday night against Shelton Benjamin. During the match, Gargano landed awkwardly on his ankle off the top rope. We're told he suffered a Grade 1 fracture, and he will be out for multiple weeks. As a result, he and Nakamura will now no longer wrestle at Survivor Series.

Gargano's injury wasn't learned until late into the show. We're told it's highly possible that Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens' Intercontinental Championship Match gets moved to the card, despite being announced for next Friday night on Smackdown last night.

CM Punk-WWE Update

While we were told that CM Punk appeared at a recent episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, there's no expected deal between the two parties coming anytime soon. Punk reportedly was invited to the show by Paul 'Triple H' Levesque in an attempt to "clear the air," from what we're told, as Levesque has taken over WWE over the last few months following Vince McMahon's departure from the company.

CM Punk is also rumored to be a candidate to appear on FS1's newest WWE talk show, WWE Backstage.

Haven't commented much in here (or anywhere) in awhile but want to give you props on the Survivor Series card. Love the fact we are getting more traditional elimination matches, as opposed to just the generic/easy to put together brand vs. brand ones. This is kind of a throwback to what SS should look like which I'm all for. Helps that the matches rounding out the card, Bliss/Trish (highly anticipated in its own right), and the four horsewomen tag (do I even need to talk more about how good this angle has been?) are going to be great.

I like the idea of the slight twist on reality here, with Triple H taking over early and inviting Punk back to clear the air. I'm also more than happy if this update is accurate and Punk doesn't make an appearance in here. Roster is loaded as it is, not sure Punk is required.

I'll be following a little regularly again so looking forward to the last week of shows before the big PPV.

Monday Night Raw – November 18th 2019; Boston, Massachusetts

1693600122796.png

A Cut Above

Brock Lesnar kicked off this episode of Monday Night Raw! The Beast showed up at the top of the 8 o’clock hour, unsurprisingly, and made his way to the ring with Paul Heyman at his side. While The Advocate stood and watched, Lesnar boldly proclaimed himself the greatest combat sports athlete of all time. He said that if anybody, like Finn Balor, disagreed with that statement then he had evidence to prove it. Lesnar cut to a brilliant video package on Brock’s illustrious multi-sport career.

Heyman then took the stage and warned Finn Balor and the rest of The OC that bad things were about to happen to them. Heyman teased that he didn’t just mean to Finn this Sunday at WWE Survivor Series either. But as it turned out, the WWE Universal Champion wasn’t content with sitting in the back! Balor’s music hit to a big pop from the Boston crowd. The Champ then walked out with the title proudly on his shoulder. What’s more, there were no OC members in sight. The champ was here all by himself.

Balor walked to the ring and got inside. He didn’t back down an inch and Lesnar cracked a smile and looked down at him. Finn got on the mic and then began to speak to Brock and Heyman. Finn said that ten months ago, an unrecognizable Finn Balor stood in the ring and spouted “a bunch of nonsense” about making people believe that he could beat Brock Lesnar.

Ten months later, Finn says, he thinks that’s a bunch of bullcrap. Not because he thinks he can’t beat Brock Lesnar, no, but because he doesn’t concern himself on whether the WWE Universe thinks that he can beat Brock Lesnar or not. Finn quipped that one day they could think he will, and the next day they would think he isn’t, because they’re fickle! Finn said that he knows that he can beat Brock and he knows that because his track record this year says that.

Balor boasted about his big wins of the year. He said that anytime he’s been knocked off, he’s come back stronger. Finn said he did lose to Brock, but then he won the Intercontinental Championship. Then after he lost, he won it back at WrestleMania, an event that Lesnar LOST at, Finn reminds. Finn said he lost the title at SummerSlam, but then won back the Universal Championship against Seth Rollins at Madison Square Garden when he cashed in Money in the Bank.

Finn said that he’s passed every test this year and that Survivor Series will just be another notch in his belt. He said he’s not out here to prove that he can beat Brock Lesnar. Finn said that on Sunday, he’s going to prove that he is the greatest champion in WWE and the entire industry. Finn then GUARANTEES victory Sunday, which gets a rise out of Lesnar.

The Beast then launches himself and then puts Finn up on his shoulders! Oh no!!

But Lesnar then tosses Finn down! He laughs at Finn, who looks out of sort and pissed off. Brock then told him that he can get him “just like that” while he snapped his fingers. An irate Balor looked on from the ring as Lesnar and Heyman backed away.

Footage from earlier today was shown next: Candice LeRae went to walk into the arena. She was, however, greeted by Smackdown’s Tegan Nox! Nox took issue with LeRae attacking her tag team partner last week with a kendo stick! LeRae didn’t seem to mind, so Nox told her something she MIGHT mind: She went to Commissioner Regal and begged for a match with her tonight! Candice seemed annoyed and went into the building!

1
Singles Match
Andrade
vs. Drew McIntyre

A very fun back-and-forth match to start the night. Andrade and Drew throw it back to their NXT collisions of two years ago and compete in a hard-hitting affair. Buddy Murphy attempted to get involved, but Chad Gable snuffed those plans out with a tackle to the mat!! That rivalry only seemed to begin, and meanwhile, after the referee went out to help corral Gable and Murphy and get them out, Andrade pulled off the top turnbuckle pad. He then lured Drew in who came at him full-speed. But Andrade side-stepped him and clipped McIntyre into the exposed steel! McIntyre went out like a light and Andrade made the cover for the win.

WINNER: Andrade via pinfall at 8:50.

A video played, focusing on the Women’s Intercontinental Champion Toni Storm! That’s right, she’s so powerful that she’s got ad time on Raw despite being a Smackdown wrestler! But when you can show up on either show because of the title that you have, business decisions are made. The video puts Storm over as her confident self as she and her teammates go into Survivor Series with a lot on their minds to prove!

{Commercials}

To the surprise of no one after that video, Toni Storm then graced us with her presence! The hotshot first-ever Women’s IC Champion made her entrance and had some friends alongside her! She brought her team for Survivor Series down the ramp with her. Toni made it to the ring with everyone and said hello to the Boston crowd. The Women’s IC Champ talked about Sunday at Survivor Series, when she and the others in the ring take on Ruby Riott and her team.

Toni said that they didn’t see what happened last Friday night coming. Admittedly, Storm says, the last person on her mind was Candice LeRae because she already took care of her in London in her successful title defense. Storm addressed Candice and called her a gnat that she hopes she and her team get rid of her for good this Sunday. Such a remark, however, drew out LeRae and the rest of her new friends!

‘Ms. MITB’ Ruby Riott led the charge with the mic in her hand. Ruby said that she couldn’t wait until Survivor Series this Sunday. Riott said that she couldn’t stand any of the women in the ring right now. She said that none of them had what she had, and that was the Money in the Bank briefcase! Riott said she had the golden ticket that everybody wanted. But she doesn’t get a fraction of the attention that all of them get!

But of course, Riott and her ego can’t be pleased at any turn. Ruby then decided to hand the microphone off. She did so to Carmella, who got a chance to speak her mind. Mella said that she has a lot on her mind, but she’d much rather let her work do the taking. She directed herself, though, right at the Women’s Intercontinental Champion! Carmella told Toni that she didn’t forget that she took her down a few months ago, and since then, she’s been struggling for consistency. Carmella then blamed Storm for her status being affected here, and blasted her for being “overhyped.” Mella then challenged Storm for her Women’s Intercontinental Title next week!

Storm quickly accepted that challenge and warned Carmella that everybody who’s questioned her hype before has suffered the same result. Storm then issued another interesting warning, telling Ruby Riott that she does have something that everybody wants and that she better not take it for granted either…

Apollo Crews and Ricochet cut a promo backstage from outside their locker room. The Franchise Players issued a challenge of their own. They called out The Revival and told them that they want the Raw Tag Team Titles and they want them TONIGHT!

2 WWE United States Championship Match
Harper defends against Dominik Dijakovic

This match was originally scheduled for next week in Chicago. However, these two were involved in multiple pull-apart brawls at the WWE Performance Center over the weekend. The broadcast revealed one in particular where the two men fought and busted through a door. The intensity was on display in this match as both men brought the intensity. They took the crowd for a bit of a ride here as they weren’t all the way in at first, but Harper and Dijakovic fought hard with each other. They scrapped and battled in and out of the ring. Harper tackled Dijakovic onto and over the announce table. They barreled over the barricade. Eventually, the referee lost control of the two men and had to count both men out!

RESULT: Double Countout at 13:00.

{Commercials}

Harper and Dijakovic were seen brawling still in the back as referees and wrestlers broke them up. Tiffany Stratton then came through and demanded everyone’s attention. She said she came from Commissioner Regal’s office and said in two weeks, Harper and Dijakovic will wrestle in a rematch for the United States Title!

An in-depth look at the long, storied history of The Four Horsewomen was then shown.

Robert Stone, Commissioner Regal’s other advisor, had both The Revival and The Franchise Players in a hallway. Stone commanded their attention, as MVP advised his guys to stay cool. Stone told them that this is the Monday Night Raw before Survivor Series, in the interest of appeasing the network, Stone said that he believes there SHOULD be a title match here in Boston tonight! So The Revival WILL defend the Raw Tag Team Titles against The Franchise Players this evening! The Revival? They looked annoyed. The Franchise Players? The boys looked ready to pounce.

{Commercials}

Toni Storm could be seen talking to Dakota Kai and Tegan Nox, who then told her that they had to go speak to Commissioner Regal. The two of them left, and Storm was by herself. Swimming like sharks in the water in the background? None other than Bayley and Boston’s own Sasha Banks!

Bayley and Banks approached Storm, who was ready. Toni clenched her fist but Bayley told her to back down. Bayley issued the same warning to her that she did to Jamie Hayter on Friday: Don’t play the wrong game. Storm said that she wasn’t interested in playing games at all. But what she was interested in, however, was getting in the ring.

Bayley said that she heard Toni was getting in the ring next week with her BFF, Carmella. She said she was rooting for Carmella to become the next Women’s Intercontinental Champion. Storm said she wasn’t talking about next week. She wasn’t even talking about this Sunday at Survivor Series. Storm told Bayley that she meant tonight.

Bayley laughed and said that she had the night off and she wasn’t competing. Toni said that was fine, because she’ll take care of her someday. Storm looked in The Standard’s eyes, and told Sasha Banks that she wanted her tonight, Champion versus Champion! Wow!! Banks looked ready to laugh off that suggestion, but Bayley then spoke up.

The Role Model said that Sasha would mop the floor off her just like she was going to do a few months ago before they got interrupted. But now there are no interruptions. Storm said she wanted to hear from Sasha, not Bayley, which irritated The Role Model. Banks asked Storm if that’s what she wanted. Storm once again locked eyes and told her, “Yes.” Banks told her that tonight would be a once-in-a-lifetime experience for Toni Storm, because after tonight, she’ll realize that there are WWE superstars and then there’s Sasha Banks!

3 – Singles Match

Ali vs. Buddy Murphy

Ali and Buddy rekindle their rivalry from 205 Live on Monday Night Raw. While the Chicagoan isn’t set for Survivor Series, Ali is hoping to disrupt things a bit and put Murphy and the suddenly rising Inevitables on their heels a bit. For a little while he does play pretty well against Murphy, who is cocky as all hell in this match.

But Murphy’s abilities are why he’s that cocky, and he shows those off in spades in this match. The two deliver an exciting and athletically-assisted match that’s very high on energy. Late in the match, Ali goes for a huge Hurricanrana off the top rope. But Murphy holds onto the top rope! Ali lands on his feet and Murphy boots him away! Murphy then dives down on him!

Late in the match, the TV Champion Daniel Bryan makes his way to the ringside area!! Murphy, meanwhile, is hit hard with a kick to the knee! Murphy grabs it and favors it. Buddy gets the referee’s attention off this as things have gotten kinda awkward… and then Ali then runs over and sees Bryan on the apron!

The TV Champ ducks Ali! Bryan then runs in—BAM!! TV Title to the back!! And then suddenly, Murphy is up! Oh what a coincidence! Bryan is off on the ringside area now and Murphy runs and hits a Double Knee into the corner!! Murphy then grabs Ali… and hits him with Murphy’s Law! It’s academic from there.

WINNER: Buddy Murphy via pinfall at 10:58.

An irate Candice LeRae was seen walking backstage. LeRae entered Commissioner Regal’s office but found Tiffany Stratton in there instead. LeRae was furious and she told Stratton that she wanted to know why she was in a match with Tegan Nox tonight. She told Stratton that she wanted the match off.

But Stratton told her that the match WOULD proceed. And, what’s more, Tiffany told Candice that not only would the match proceed, but there would be a special stipulation. Since Candice used a kendo stick on Friday, Stratton informs her that if she uses that weapon, or ANY weapon, then she will not be disqualified… instead, she will FORFEIT the match! Well that’s quite the deterrent!

Oh, and, it’s NEXT! Oh my!

A Tegan Nox vignette aired, a bit less focused on her tag team partner, and more solo-focused. Gotta love getting ad time when it’s not even your show!

Daniel Bryan and Buddy Murphy were seen walking through the hallways, delighted with what just happened. Robert Stone, however? Not so thrilled. Stone confronted both men and after they didn’t take him seriously at first, Stone commanded their attention by invoking Commissioner Regal’s name. Stone said that if the two men thought tonight was funny, then maybe, per request of the Commissioner who’s “very busy” right now, then next week, Daniel Bryan will defend the TV Title against… Buddy Murphy!

4 Singles Match
Candice LeRae
vs. Tegan Nox

The name of the game was retribution. Not the ill-fated faction, but for Tegan Nox, who recorded a vengeful performance in the name of her friend Dakota Kai. LeRae walloped Kai with a kendo stick last week, costing her the match against Ruby Riott. No such interference occurred here tonight, as Ruby’s team was shown in the back, and so was Toni’s team, with the captain suddenly involved in a major match later tonight. Nevertheless, in the ring, Candice slammed Nox down and went for La Quebrada, but Nox put her knees up! She then slammed LeRae down with a Russian Leg Sweep, rolled up, ran off, and BOOM! Shining Wizard! And that was that.

WINNER: Tegan Nox via pinfall at 4:31.

Toni Storm was seen quite happy over Nox’s performance. She rallied the troops a bit here with Asuka and Liv Morgan nearby. She told the two of them that that’s what she wants to see from them on Sunday, that tenacity and the hunger, to which Liv claimed she was starving. Toni liked hearing that and Liv got a little fixated on Storm’s IC Title, but nothing enough for Storm to notice.

{Commercials}

A despondent Drew McIntyre sat in the locker room as the rest of his team members sat around looking for answers. It was a difficult night for the boys, but then Montez Ford emerged. Ford rallied everyone up and got everyone fired up for Survivor Series on Sunday and boldly guaranteed that he would become the sole survivor! Drew admired his guts and gave him a firm handshake in return!

A video then aired, highlighting the rivalry between Alexa Bliss and Trish Stratus. Alexa and Trish are, of course, scheduled to wrestle against each other at Survivor Series! It was a pretty lengthy video that showed their training process, with Trish seen getting in the ring with Mickie James while Alexa worked with one of Trish’s arch nemeses, Victoria. Alexa was out to prove that REvolution wasn’t a fluke, while Stratus was poised to show she could hang with the stars of today.

Sasha Banks could be seen watching that video package. Banks talked to Bayley after it ended, pointing out that she’s beaten BOTH Alexa Bliss and Trish Stratus. So she’s not sweating who wins that match because even if they’re the proverbial No. 1 contender, they stand no chance against The Standard. Bayley agreed and said that tonight she was going to send a message to Toni Storm and to everybody else that they are the standard in this industry and that it’s their show and their era.

5 Raw Tag Team Championships Match
The Revival © defend against The Franchise Players

And so, these two teams tango for the Raw Tag Team Titles in Boston who plays well to this surprise title match. Apollo and Ricochet wrestle inspired without MVP cin their corner, as we see the leader of TFP Enterprises behind the curtain right now. The two teams continue to wrestle and Dawson is cut off from Dash for much of the match. When Wilder thinks he has the situation figured out, Apollo or Ricochet do something crazy to snuff them out. And they just kept coming and coming. When you didn’t think it would continue, it just did. Dash finally got tagged in but Ricochet kicked out of a mighty Tornado DDT. Dash and Dawson then went for the Shatter Machine. Apollo Crews, however, chop-blocked Dawson who went down in a heap. Ricochet countered and then delivered the BOOM with the 630°!! Apollo kept them off as the referee counted – and this was over!! New CHAMPIONS!!

WINNERS: The Franchise Players via pinfall at 9:16. The Franchise Players are the NEW Raw Tag Team Champions.

Renee Young gets in a word with The Franchise Players in the back after their epic win. But MVP also is around and it turns into a party. MVP douses both in champagne and boasts that he picked the two up and brought them to the top. He said he can do that for anybody and he said he can keep them at the top as well, because he knows it’s not just about getting to the top but maintaining your spot. But he said it was time to stop talking and to start partying. But he said they were going to go to a REAL city and party: Miami!

We got a recap video of the confrontation that’s led us to our epic main event tonight in Boston! Sasha Banks will take on Toni Storm in a ‘Champion vs. Champion’ encounter, as Toni’s determination is going to be tested like never before!

Seth Rollins
then made his way to the ring with Pete Dunne behind him. Rollins and Dunne didn’t get their hands dirty in any of the proceedings that The Inevitables had dealt with this evening. Rollins started by talking some trash about what he and his Survivor Series team have accomplished tonight. He said the ‘rah-rah’ speech by Ford was going to lead to nothing but failure this Sunday and the inexperienced Street Profits will become just another footnote in Seth Rollins’ career! He said the two of them have accomplished a lot in NXT, but this is Monday Night Raw, Rollins said. Seth proclaimed that Montez Ford would be the sole survivor ‘over his dead body!’

Rollins then turned his attention to Drew McIntyre and called him a phony captain who can’t even corral his own team together. He said they needed a rookie to inspire them, which drew out someone that wasn’t Drew Mac. Instead it was Rey Mysterio! Rey got in the ring and defended McIntyre and said that he’s been a good leader behind closed doors, doing things that will benefit them on Sunday that they aren’t seeing.

Seth said that it’s easy to tell a lie but he said he had ‘no respect’ for a man telling a lie when nobody could see their face! Wow! Rollins said he had a lot more respect for Mysterio before this but he said he was disgusted by him now. Seth said that he was also joking with Buddy Murphy in the back like Daniel Bryan was, and Rollins said he joked that he should have beaten his son up further! UH OH! BIG MISTAKE!! Then Mysterio hit Rollins between the eyes with the microphone!

Rey then hit Dunne with the mic as well and then started attacking Rollins!! Rey OBVIOUSLY felt disrespected by what Rollins had to say about him and wasn’t willing to let this fly!! But then the rest of Rollins’ Survivor Series started to flood the scene!! Buddy and Bryan jumped in the ring and then jumped Rey from behind!! They beat him up as Andrade then ran into the ring and it became 5-on-1 very quickly!!

But then the cavalry came on down!! In the form of Drew McIntyre and Chad Gable!! And then later The Street Profits jumped out from the crowd and went after Andrade and Buddy!! It quickly became a huge brawl as these two teams weren’t waiting for Survivor Series!!

Robert Stone and Tiffany Stratton attempted to extinguish the fire as they have all night. Referees and other Raw roster members rushed to the ringside area to break up the fight. They eventually did, but boy, oh BOY, did things escalate!

{Commercials}

Renee Young gave an update after the melee we just witnessed. In the background, one might have noticed MVP emerging out of a locker room. That’s interesting considering he said he was going to party. Anyways, since it was never discussed on air, it obviously never happened. That’s how this works, right?

(Wrong. Stay tuned…)

As for the update: Young said that everyone has been sent home and told not to come to Chicago until Saturday. Young also says that next week on Raw, no matter what happens on Sunday night, Seth Rollins will face Rey Mysterio!

Toni Storm then could be seen walking through the hallway, in gear, ready to go into battle. She then walked into… Becky Lynch!

The Women’s Intercontinental Champion respectfully nodded at the former Raw Women’s Champion. Becky told her that she was glad she ran into her, because she said she wanted to make sure that Bayley or anyone else wouldn’t meddle with her match.

Toni said she didn’t even need an excuse, because her friends left for the night out of respect for her and the main event. So, she appreciates the backup, especially because she doesn’t know what Bayley or Sasha could be capable of. Becky told her that Charlotte would be here soon as well, just as insurance, to which we’re all wondering the same thing: Doesn’t Charlotte know what a call time is!?

6 Champion vs. Champion Match
Raw Women’s Champ, Sasha Banks (w/ Bayley)
vs. Women’s IC Champ, Toni Storm (w/ Becky Lynch)

The present met the future in a first-time-ever encounter in the main event here in Boston. The hometown girl Sasha Banks battled with Toni Storm in a special attraction main event as Bayley and Becky Lynch looked on from their respective corners.

Sasha aimed to overwhelm the youngster Toni. The 27-year-old Banks had been in Storm’s shoes before. So she knew the ways she could craftily put her down. But the 24-year-old Storm proved why she couldn’t be underestimated. For every time that Banks outsmarted her, Toni was right there to outsmart her and put her on her heels.

Banks grew frustrated that Storm kept finding a way to be resilient. She disrespected her by taunting her, telling her that she wasn’t as good as Banks was, and so on and so forth. Toni kept toiling on though, which visibly irritated both Banks and Bayley.

Storm then turned the heat up on Sasha as she showed her fighting spirit. She clobbered her in the middle of the ring with a headbutt that sent both rocking back. But Toni stood firm and took that time to gather up momentum. Banks tried to skate free and Storm got her in a backslide! She put her shoulders to the mat… but it didn’t matter, because Bayley had distracted the referee!! She backed off once she saw Becky Lynch glaring and walking over, but she did enough to turn the tide!

Banks hung in there though and started to really kick it into high gear. Storm’s tricks started not working and The Standard was proving why she was The Standard. But Toni kept kicking out, which frustrated Banks. So Sasha put her in the Bank Statement! A move that had put away so many before! Toni had been trapped in the center, but she resiliently made it to the ropes to break it after toiling for over 30 seconds!!

Bayley attempted to get involved again, but Lynch was there to back her off again! The Smackdown Women’s Champ backed up on Becky here, but what Bayley didn’t realize was someone was behind her – Charlotte Flair!!

Bayley soon realized this and was caught right in the middle! Flair made a move on her and Bayley ducked away and laughed… until she realized both Becky and Charlotte were going to make a break for her! Sasha begged them off from inside the ring. But Storm was getting respite and then drilled Banks with a sudden Spinout Slam!! Shades of John Cena! A near fall ensued after the move and it nearly put things to bed!

Storm kept rattling on and drilled Banks with her running hip attack. Sasha kicked out at every turn though and finessed her way out of the Storm Zero a few times. So Storm could never hit her with it. But at one point, after Sasha broke out, Toni jumped over and hit a Sunset Flip! A near fall followed, but the savviness showed why Storm was here to stay.

Banks eventually lured Storm in and dropped her on the middle turnbuckle!! As the referee attended to Storm, Sasha could be seen slipping something on her hand! Storm fought the referee away as she wanted to keep fighting and keep going. Banks then could be seen adjusting her trunks and then swung wildly at Toni! With something on her hand!

Storm ducked the shot and the referee noticed something flying in the air! It was one of Sasha’s BO$$ rings! The referee turned his back to them, as Banks could be seen adjusting her trunks again. Storm once again went for Storm Zero, but Banks yet again countered out of it and with the referee still looking away, Sasha then CLOBBERED TONI IN THE FACE AND DOWN SHE WENT! BANKS HAD ANOTHER SET OF RINGS!

Banks flopped down and hid the rings as the referee counted! She got away with it and picked up the victory!!

WINNER: Sasha Banks via pinfall at 12:12.

Banks survived a serious effort by the Women’s Intercontinental Champion, who needed a shot with an illegal object to the face to finally be downed! And Storm couldn’t even hit her finisher in the match, AND she broke out of the Bank Statement. A stunningly great performance even in defeat.

For Banks? She rolled out of the ring and had the wherewithal to go help her friend!! Boy did Bayley need help because Becky and Charlotte were lighting her ass up in the back!! Becky and Charlotte took turns whooping Bayley’s ass as it was hard to argue that she didn’t totally deserve it!

Banks then eventually joined the fray and even at less than 100 percent was ready to rip Charlotte Flair’s hair off!! She tackled Charlotte to the ground as the two fought like hell with each other. Bayley then eventually cheapshotted Becky and then drove her into a vending machine!!

They kept fighting as security eventually broke the fights up!! But in less than six days there won’t be ANYTHING breaking this up! It’s the end of an era after all!

NXT

November 20, 2019 | Winter Park, Florida

Adam Cole then came out to thunderous applause from the NXT audience. Despite playing the villain, the popularity of Cole can’t be denied. ALL of Undisputed ERA followed him, draped in gold of course, as they owned every championship in the brand. The most dominant faction in NXT history climbed into the ring and posed with the gold, earning cheers from the crowd anyway.

The NXT Champion had walked to the ring with a sense of confidence in his step. Cole said that this weekend at Chi-Town Rumble, he’d be tested like no other NXT Champion had ever been before. He said that in the past, NXT Champions have competed in 1-on-1 matches, in Triple Threat matches, and Fatal Four-Ways. But never before had someone been in an ‘Iron Survivor’ match.

Cole said that he feels honored to be involved in the first-ever Iron Survivor match but said that he wouldn’t want to be involved in any other ones after this… because the performance he’s going to put on is going to be UNRIVALED. Hey we kinda see what you did there. Cole ran down his list of challengers. He keyed in on Keith Lee and said that he talked to Roderick Strong, who he walked over to. He put his arm around Roddy, and Cole explained that Roddy agreed that keeping the championship in the Undisputed ERA is Priority #1. Strong nodded his head. Cole said that he’s the greatest NXT Champion; it’s just that nobody knows it yet. Strong talked up his buddy. Cole said that there is nobody who can say or suggest otherwise. Strong seemed to not really take issue with that one, although it was the least animated he was.

Cole then addressed his scheduled match with Jordan Myles. Adam said that he was not cleared for competition tonight, which draws the ire of the crowd. But, fear not, Cole says, because he does things for everyone in the NXT Universe, and he worked out a deal to have Jordan Myles wrestle… Roderick Strong! Oh… oh because that isn’t convenient. Well, we have our main event scheduled!

Of course, Adam Cole said the magic words. You can’t expect to say that no one can say something in wrestling, because someone will then be at your front door ready to say it. Turns out, that’s exactly what happened. Enter: Finn Balor!! We weren’t done with the surprises tonight, boys and girls. Balor walked back into Full Sail to an absolutely mental reaction from the fans in attendance. Cole sold the shock of it well, and I mean, who could have predicted this?

Finn got into the ring and brought the coveted Universal Championship with him. Balor studied up Cole and then started chatting with him. Finn said that he reminded him a lot of him when he was NXT Champion. That he felt unbreakable, that he felt on top of the world, and that he could beat anybody. Finn says that some people advised him not to think that way and to be humble. Balor said that people suggested he keep himself level because when reality hits, it won’t hurt too much.

Balor’s response to all that? He doesn’t have to be concerned about it because he’s just that damn good. And in Balor’s eyes, he can see a lot of himself in Adam Cole. But he warns him that Finn Balor is 1 of 1, and until Cole proves otherwise, then maybe the jury’s out. Finn tells Cole that he’ll be watching on Saturday before he goes and beats Brock Lesnar. Whew! That was quite the segment.

And then we get a quick shot outside Full Sail Live. A black BMW pulls up! That’s awfully fancy. Climbing out of the Beamer is none other than your Women’s Intercontinental Champion! What is Toni Storm doing here?!

‘THE NIGHTMARE’ RHEA RIPLEY

COMING SOON TO NXT

1 Singles Match
Cameron Grimes
vs.
Tyler Breeze
The in-ring chunk of the show begins with a bang as Cameron Grimes takes on Tyler Breeze. The former North American Champion has a chance to start pivoting ahead despite missing out on the Iron Survivor Match this weekend. But Breeze finds himself challenged by Grimes. These two were both in the NXT North American Championship Tournament earlier this summer, but commentary notes that the two did NOT clash against each other on the way there. So there might still be something unresolved here.
WINNER: Cameron Grimes via pinfall at 9:20.

We went to the back and found Storm again as she was talking to Triple H! Storm said that she felt motivated after losing to Sasha Banks on Monday night. She said that while her partners advised her against it, she wants to defend the Women’s Intercontinental Championship tonight! Hunter said that her friends have her best interests in mind and he respects that. And he does say that she has been working a lot lately. Storm confessed to knowing that, but Toni pledged to be a fighting champion. She said that honor still means something to her and her word is her bond. So she wants to fight and defend her championship. Hunter said that that was okay, and that Toni Storm would defend her title!

McKenzie Mitchell interviewed Danny Garcia. Garcia said that tonight he and Drew Gulak were going to prove a point to Santana and Ortiz. He says that they’ve noticed how quickly they’ve made an impact around here. But according to Garcia, they weren’t the only ones interested in making an impact! And so, tonight, Garcia pledged to make an impact against Santana and Ortiz!

2
Singles Match
‘Hot Mess’ Chelsea Green (w/ Deonna Purrazzo)
vs.
Brandi Lauren
Deonna Purrazzo took a break from in-ring competition this week as she is on the heels of defeating Mia Yim in the 2 out of 3 Falls main event last week. Purrazzo played the role of spectator as Chelsea Green looked to gain momentum heading into Chi-Town Rumble on Saturday. Her opponent, Brandi Lauren, was overmatched by Green’s stylings. Lauren seemed to be intimidated also by Purrazzo’s presence, as Deonna and Chelsea’s meddling ways were no secret. While Deonna didn’t invite herself to her best pal’s match, being at ringside proved to be a difference maker. Green eventually blasted Brandi with I’m Prettier! And got the 1-2-3.
WINNER: Chelsea Green via pin fall at 3:45.

Following the match, Purrazzo got in the ring and cut a promo. She took a swipe at Toni Storm and suggested the Women’s Intercontinental Champion knew to come this week because she knew Deonna had the night off. Thus, Deonna accused Toni of ducking her. QUITE the accusation to make! But Purrazzo was feeling high and mighty, so that wasn’t a surprise. Deonna said that this Saturday she would be rooting her best friend Chelsea on in the Iron Survivor Match. She told Io that she better not underestimate Green, because she’s going to make her pay for it if she doesn’t. Deonna said Chelsea was motivated to shock the world on Saturday and that she would also compete on Saturday. Deonna announced the first-ever Virtuosa Challenge, which we’ll likely find out more about soon.

A vignette aired for Mercedes Martinez, as the veteran got some shine and hype going into the Iron Survivor Match.

3 Tag Team Match
The Time Splitters vs. Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan
Toni Storm wasn’t the only main roster member to appear in NXT. Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan resurfaced after not appearing on Raw for a few weeks! Burch and Lorcan were, however, no match for Alex Shelley and Kushida. Rolling into their Chicago Street Fight this weekend, Shelley and Kushida succeeded in clearing out the pins. Shelley pinned Lorcan after hitting him with the SHELLSHOCK!
WINNERS: The Time Splitters at 5:56.

The Undisputed ERA appeared on the big tron on the stage. Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish challenged Shelley and Kushida to meet them in the parking lot later tonight!

Deonna Purrazzo and Chelsea Green were seen laughing and yucking it up backstage. But their laughs and good times soon ended. Why? Toni Storm emerged, that’s why. Purrazzo was clearly caught off guard, despite talking a lot of shit earlier. Storm seemed to indicate she heard that and told Deonna, “You better not think that I haven’t been keeping track of who I haven’t beaten around here.” Whew. Obviously referencing the MYC defeat. Storm told Deonna that she might have been off tomorrow, but, maybe soon that won’t be the case.

A video aired, recapping the feud between Sheamus and WALTER.

‘The Celtic Warrior’ then made his way out onto the NXT stage. Sheamus marched down to the ring and then welcomed his best friend Cesaro in! ‘The Swiss Superman’ walked down to the ring then to a huge pop. Cesaro was no stranger to Full Sail. No sirree. Sheamus and Cesaro would yuck it up for a bit before they were interrupted!

Imperium walked out in full force, with the big man WALTER around. Marcel Barthel got on the mic and told Sheamus and Cesaro that the two of them appeared surprised that they were here tonight. Barthel said that just when you think you’re ahead of them, they’re always right there to be on their tail. He then passed the microphone off to WALTER.

The big man said that Sheamus’ passion was admirable. He said that Sheamus has been a great champion in his career, rattling off the titles that he’s earned. WALTER said Sheamus has beaten Hall of Famers and icons and competed at WrestleMania. All of that, he says, will only make his victory on Saturday that much sweeter. He said that they are going to be talking about him as one of the greatest alive today after he defeats Sheamus to retain his championship. He said that he could become the longest-reigning champion in NXT on Saturday and he does not plan to relinquish the championship ANYTIME soon!

After losing to Chelsea Green earlier, Brandi Lauren appeared talking to Shotzi Blackheart. Interesting.

Io Shirai
emerges from backstage. The NXT Women’s Champion comes down to the ring with Kairi Sane tagging alongside. Io gets in the ring and, immediately, cuts to the chase. She calls out Toni Storm by name! Io says that she is the ONLY women’s champion in NXT. Shirai said that Bayley and Sasha Banks better know that too! Shirai said that she heard Toni wants to defend her title. Well, she boldly told the champ that if she wants to defend her title then she can come out now, because this is HER NXT!

Well, it didn’t take too long to spur that one! And we’ve got ourselves a rematch of the 2018 Mae Young Classic Final!

4 NXT Women’s Intercontinental Championship Match
Toni Storm defends against Io Shirai (w/ Kairi Sane)
These two ladies went and had a barnburner. Storm did the do-si-do with Shirai and looked to put a different number on the board this time than her previous outing on Monday night. But Io was a tough nut to crack, even for someone who’s recorded a pinfall loss on her in the last 13 months in Storm. The two had an answer for everything, and why wouldn’t they? Shirai is the NXT Women’s Champion and has been since April. Storm has two blemishes on her record since June. These are two of the very best and they’re proving why.

During the match, Tom Phillips interrupts the match to show a tweet from Bayley, which is put on the lower-third of the screen, in which the Smackdown Women’s Champion dares the NXT Women’s Champion to say what she did to her to her face… next week on NXT! Wow!! Bayley is coming to NXT next week, and it’s likely she won’t be alone either! A fascinating situation developing underneath here. Meanwhile, the match enters its next phase, in which both ladies are starting to pull out all the stops.

Toni goes for the Storm Zero, at least it would appear, but instead she looks to go for the Pedigree!! But Io powers out of it and sends Storm up. Storm goes down for a back drop but lands on her feet. She turns around, however, right into a running dropkick by the NXT Women’s Champion! Shirai gets up and grabs Toni and sets her up in the corner. She runs in but Storm boots her! She then grabs her and throws her into the ringpost! Storm watches as Io slumps down and then Toni goes in and blasts her with her Running Hip Attack!

Toni goes for the cover but the ref doesn’t make the count. Kairi is why! Sane has the referee distracted! It appears that friendship runs pretty deep! Storm then goes over but Kairi drops down! Storm asks her what her deal is, and then she turns into a HUGE shotei from Shirai! Io then puts Toni between the legs, butterflies the arms, and hits her with her OWN Storm Zero! 1! 2! Shirai is the new champion! NO!! Storm kicks out!! Ioi plants Storm moments later and then goes for the Moonsault… Storm pulls her legs up!! Toni gets up and then hits Io with Storm Zero!! 1! 2! KAIRI interferes and disrupts the match!!
WINNER: Toni Storm via disqualification at 9:45. Storm retains the Women’s Intercontinental Title.

Kairi and Io start picking Toni apart! The Women’s Intercontinental Champion appears to be without an ally right now! Not so fast – here comes one down the way! And causing the NXT universe to erupt is none other than one of the greatest NXT champions of all time: Asuka!! Asuka goes down and jumps into the ring but the NXT Women’s Champion and her best friend are in retreat!! Asuka goes over and helps Toni up to her feet. They’ll be partners this weekend at Survivor Series, and The Empress certainly pledged her loyalty to Toni tonight!

A replay of the chaotic events that just took place! Afterward, Triple H speaks to McKenzie Mitchell. He tells her that it’s true that Bayley AND her best friend Sasha Banks plan to be at NXT next week! Also next week? Hunter announces that Io and Kairi will wrestle the team of Toni Storm… and Asuka!! Hunter also said that there’s going to be a #1 Contender’s Match on Saturday at Chi-Town Rumble for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship!

5
Tag Team Match
Santana and Ortiz vs. Danny Garcia and Drew Gulak
Unfortunately for Garcia and Gulak, this one doesn’t really go the way they want it to. Santana and Ortiz overwhelm Garcia and Gulak in such a way that makes the new kids on the block look pretty damn good. Garcia puts up a pretty valiant effort, for what it’s worth. He kicks out of quite a few high-impact moves, which Phillips notes is showing a lot of courage and heart. Barrett, meanwhile, thinks it’s a lot of hogwash and that he should just stay down. He keeps getting hit hard here and eventually, Santana and Ortiz blank him with a double-team move and get the victory!
WINNERS: Santana and Ortiz via pinfall at 4:55.

After the match, Gulak picks up the pieces here. As he does, he looks over and stares over at somebody… though the crowd can’t quite make out who it is that he’s staring at!

A Keith Lee video package airs! The Limitless One is ready to take it to the next level this weekend when he hopes to win the Iron Survivor Match!

Jordan Myles spoke to Triple H backstage. He said he’d been trying to wait and saw he was busy but he said he does not have a problem with facing Roderick Strong tonight. He said that over the summer, he beat him to advance to the North American Championship final. Myles said that Undisputed ERA has been in his way and if he can get a leg up tonight on them, he’ll take it. Tyler Bate then emerged and told Myles that he knows the kind of tricks Adam Cole can pull too often, so he volunteered to have his back tonight! Myles said that was fine as long as he understood that after tonight that was over. Bate agreed and we’ve got a makeshift alliance!

A rather intense video package aired, featuring a man working out vigorously. It concluded with the words:

6 Non-Title Singles Match
Jordan Myles (w/ Tyler Bate)
vs.
Roderick Strong (w/ Adam Cole)
With Tyler Bate and NXT Champion Adam Cole at ringside, Jordan Myles and Roderick Strong bring us home on this epic episode of NXT. Myles has revenge on his mind after losing to Strong earlier this year in the North American Championship Tournament. And, of course, for being at The Undisputed ERA’s mercy for quite some time now. He looks energetic and on point against Strong who wrestles this one a bit cockily. Cole sets him straight eventually and he kicks it into overdrive. The two trade big move for big move late in the match as they’re trying to end it without too extensive damage going into the show this weekend. Cole tries to slip something to Strong, but Bate catches him! He gets his attention and walks him away. Cole seems to be in control as he calms Bate down. But Cole soon realizes he’s trapped between Bate and… Keith Lee!

Cole tries to fight his way out of this one but he isn’t able to!! Keith and Bate beat Cole up here as the NXT Champion is on the receiving end of a deserved ass whooping!! Despite not being cleared to compete tonight it seems that’s not stopping Lee and Bate from getting on him! Lee then hoists Cole up over his shoulders! Oh my God! Bate hoists his hands up as Lee walks over AND THROWS COLE RIGHT INTO THE CROWD! WHAT!! What an impressive feat of strength!! It grabbed the attention of Strong in the ring but that proved to be costly. Myles got on track and delivered a spectacular Spike Tornado DDT off a springboard!! Myles then went up to the top rope and bam! 450! 1! 2! 3!!!
WINNER Jordan Myles via pinfall at 10:22.

Things got intense on the outside, as we got our promised parking lot fight between The Undisputed ERA and The Time Splitters!! Things got chaotic in the ring as well as Strong, Myles, Bate, and Lee all started fighting each other!! Cole was lucky to skate away, and eventually, we went back to the parking lot.

The battle continued on, and then ADAM COLE appeared!! He went and blasted KUSHIDA with a 2x4 to the back!! He then helped O’Reilly and Fish get away!! My goodness!!

I'm not gonna waste anybody's time. The road to Survivor Series weekend is officially... OVER.

Friday Night Smackdown – November 22, 2019; Chicago, Illinois

Smackdown opened with footage from earlier today. Randy Orton arrived to the building with his teammates – WWE Champion Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, and Bobby Lashley. As they walked down the ramp at Allstate Arena, Kayla Braxton caught up with Orton. Kayla pondered about the 5th member of Team Orton. The Viper said that all the questions were going to be answered, because according to Orton, his fifth team member for Survivor Series will be here TONIGHT!

Randy Orton vs. Jason Jordan:
Jordan volunteered his services earlier today to take on the captain of the Survivor Series team. AJ Styles originally wanted the match, but Jordan pledged that he would defeat Randy Orton. To Jordan’s credit, he really brought it in his hometown. He won the Smackdown Tag Team Championships here a few years ago, so he knows what it takes. He dug deep and put together a really strong showing against the veteran Orton. But Orton, wise beyond his years, picked up on one mistake Jordan made and BOOM! RKO!!

~ BEST OF THE FOUR HORSEWOMEN ERA: Sasha Banks wins the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT TakeOver: Rival on February 11, 2015. To date, it’s the only time that the Four Horsewomen have all wrestled against each other.

A frustrated AJ Styles chewed into Jason Jordan after his loss. He then went and found Commissioner Regal and demanded a match later tonight here in Chicago. Styles said he wanted his team to be on top going into Survivor Series and to show that it didn’t matter who they had as their partner because they were going to lose. Regal said that was fine and, in fact, he thinks he has a splendid idea. Tonight, here in Chicago, since this is Survivor Series weekend, he has a grand thought and he has to go run off to get it approved. Well then, what does the commish have in mind?

Michael Cole updates us on the status of Johnny Gargano. Cole says that Gargano suffered an injury that will keep him out of action for a significant period of time, they wish him well. Cole said that as a result of what happened, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn will instead do battle for the Intercontinental Championship this Sunday at Survivor Series in the place of Gargano’s previously scheduled match.

Sami Zayn came out to gloat over not having to compete against ‘that liar’ Kevin Owens. Zayn continued to drag Owens’ name through the mud. He called him one of the worst people he’s had the “displeasure” of knowing. Zayn then pointed to numerous examples in a video package that showed a lot of Owens’ lowlights. KO then eventually had enough and came out to the ring. But it was going to be 3-on-1, so Owens stayed on the stage. Owens called Zayn ridiculous and said that this whole thing started because he kept weaseling out of defending the Intercontinental Championship! Owens says he can understand why after winning it back from him two weeks ago in London! KO said that all he wanted was a one-on-one shot. He got it. Now, Zayn is making it personal. He’s not giving him many options, and one of them is kicking his ass all over the city of Chicago!!

“Actually, we’re in the suburbs,” Zayn obnoxiously points out. It’s true, but it’s still obnoxious. KO doesn’t seem to give a damn and he says that he didn’t just come out here to shut Zayn up. Owens revealed that he went to Commissioner Regal’s office before this and learned that he would defend the championship against Zayn at Survivor Series. But KO said he insisted to Regal that he wanted to kick Sami’s ass so bad that he couldn’t wait until Sunday! Zayn looked on, bracing for whatever came next. Owens said that he secured a six-man tag against Zayn and his two new buddies! Damian Priest and Dave Mastiff looked over as Owens said he ran into two guys at the airport who shared a few things in common with him, and one of them was wanting to kick Sami’s ass! Enter… The Bar! They’re back! Sheamus and Cesaro are on Friday Night Smackdown!

~ BEST OF THE FOUR HORSEWOMEN ERA:
Charlotte Flair wins the WWE Women’s Championship Triple Threat Match at WrestleMania 32 over Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks in April 2016.

Damian Priest, Dave Mastiff, and Sami Zayn vs. The Bar and Kevin Owens: Bet you didn’t have this match on your BINGO cards. The match plays pretty strong in front of the Chicago crowd and the two newcomers appear to have no problems fitting in. Priest, especially, comes out looking good against a lot of the competition. He has a couple of really hard-hitting moments with Sheamus in particular that jump off the mat. But this one ends just as you might think. Owens drills Dave Mastiff with a Stunner and gets the 1-2-3! It sends Zayn and his boys retreating and an angry look comes over Zayn’s face.

Kayla Braxton caught up with Dakota Kai outside her locker room. Kayla asked Dakota what the mood was like in the locker room after a rocky few days. Kai said that it has been a little rocky but they’ve admired Toni’s leadership. She said that her and Tegan both were proud of her efforts against both Sasha Banks and Io Shirai on Wednesday. Kai said she didn’t have to compete against Io, and it was pretty obvious that she was walking into a 2-on-1 situation but even knowing that, she did it anyway and fought on and almost won if Kairi didn’t get involved. Kai said that it was obvious to her like it was everybody else that Toni was the next big star on Smackdown and it would be a matter of time before she holds the Smackdown Women’s Championship. Bold words! Kai followed up and said that morale is good and that they are confident that they can get a win, however, they’re paying close attention to who Ruby Riott is picking for her fifth team member.

“Ding… DONG…” rang off around Kai, startling her a little bit. She could be seen gulping as Bayley approached her. The Smackdown Women’s Champion sized Dakota up as Kayla scurried away. Bayley said she overheard her say something about her championship. She just wanted to set the record straight. Kai said that she said it would be a matter of time until Toni Storm held the Women’s Championship… but that she didn’t mean she’d beat Bayley. Interesting admission. Bayley softened her stance a bit and said that she thought that’s what she meant, but she just wanted to clarify. Bayley said that she would have been disappointed because she actually likes Dakota Kai a lot. Bayley said that they don’t have to pretend like they don’t know each other and Bayley said she doesn’t have to pretend like she doesn’t respect her and the road that she’s taken to get here to Friday Night Smackdown. She told Dakota that this Sunday night, her and Sasha Banks were going to take over the entire WWE women’s division. Bayley said that she wants to makes sure that she’s not forgetting to protect someone who she has a deep respect for. Well, that sure was interesting.

~ BEST OF THE FOUR HORSEWOMEN ERA: Bayley retains the Raw Women’s Championship in a massive Fatal 4-Way featuring Charlotte Flair and Sasha Banks. Bayley, to date, is the only Raw Women’s Champion to successfully defend their title at WrestleMania.

Bayley was seen once again walking down the hallway. She approached her locker room but then got confronted. By… Jamie Hayter… Interesting. Bayley asked her what she thought she was doing getting in her way. Hayter told her that she thought about what she said last week. She said that she was right. But Hayter said that she wants to know once and for all and she wants to prove it in the ring. Bayley questioned what she meant. Hayter made it clear: Next week, she wanted Bayley 1-on-1. If she beat her, then she wouldn’t be on her side. However, if Bayley beat her? Then clearly she has a lot to learn. Bayley smiled and nodded and walked on. Well then.

We got a look out at the parking lot where we awaited Randy Orton’s fifth team member. Then we saw Kevin Owens emerge into the screenshot as he was heading to his car. But he wasn’t the only one in the area as the camera discovered! Damian Priest had been hidden behind a car, and then he raced over and jumped Owens!! The bigger Priest beat up a defenseless Owens while we heard the annoying voice of Sami Zayn start descending in. Zayn then arrived in screenshot as we saw Priest hold Owens up against a car. Dave Mastiff came over and started picking Owens apart as Zayn taunted the Intercontinental Champion. The question was: Where were Cesaro and Sheamus?! It didn’t matter now though as KO, defenseless, was then put into the car about halfway. Priest held Owens up by his legs as Zayn backed away. He taunted Owens again and then raced over… and hit a HELLUVA KICK into the door—SLAMMING INTO OWENS’ RIBS! The trio then skedaddles after we hear noise but the damage has been done to our IC Champion.

Asuka, Dakota Kai, and Liv Morgan vs. Candice LeRae, Piper Niven, and Ruby Riott: It’s Six-Woman Tag action here as the line moves along. Everyone present for Survivor Series is at ringside for this one. This is a hard-fought matchup with a few women that are yearning for an opportunity. They make the most of it and make their presence felt. Liv Morgan among them as she brings her A-game and it’s noticed on commentary by Michael Cole. Not AJ, who’s at ringside for this one. Morgan spars with Riott late in the match while things get a bit chaotic on the outside. But Dakota Kai jumps off the second rope in the corner down on Carmella and Niven!! Asuka battles with Candice but swiftly kicks her over the barricade! Liv, meanwhile, is stunned by Riott. Ruby then goes for the Riott Kick, but Morgan has it scouted! And why wouldn’t she?! If anyone knows her better! She then put Riott into a cradle and picked up the HUGE victory for her team.

An embarrassed Riott lit her team up at ringside while Toni’s team celebrated up at the top of the ramp.

The Miz entered Commissioner Regal’s office. Miz said that he saw what happened to Kevin Owens before and he said that he extends his sympathies to him. However, Miz says he has a separate point if he doesn’t mind broaching Regal about it. He said that after Sunday, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn will have wrestled all fall. Miz claimed that the people were craving something new and something exciting in the Intercontinental Championship scene. Miz pondered aloud what that might look like, saying that it should include the greatest active Intercontinental Champion in WWE… himself, of course! Regal says that Miz gave an inspiring speech and he said that there’s no denying his pedigree with the Intercontinental Title. Regal also agrees that he thinks that, especially after what happened tonight, it’s time to move on after Sunday. Regal says that Miz will be one of “a few contenders” for the IC Title that he will decide on. Miz said that while he thinks he is the most qualified, he’s glad to at least be in the pool. He shakes Regal’s hand and goes on his way.

{Commercials}

~ BEST OF THE FOUR HORSEWOMEN ERA: Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair compete in the first-ever women’s main event at WrestleMania earlier this year. The bout was won by The Man who walked away with the Raw and Smackdown Women’s Championships.

Jason Jordan was seen furious with himself after what happened earlier tonight. He got angry over losing to Randy Orton in the first match of the show. Jey Uso then approached Jordan and told him to cool off. Jordan got incredulous with Jey and said that if anybody needs to “cool off” it’s The OC. Jey told him to calm down but Jordan retorted by saying that he sees what’s been happening and that Brock Lesnar could take the Universal Title this weekend from Finn Balor. And Jordan says that if the rumor that he heard earlier today is true? Then Jey and his brother are gonna have a fun time in Chicago. Jey asked Jordan what the hell he meant by that. Jordan smirked because he knew what he meant, and Jey threw a punch at Jordan! Jordan threw one right back at him and shoved him and then Jimmy swooped in and broke Jey away as Otis then got involved! Jordan asked Jey what his problem was. Jey told him that if he wanted to be a wise-ass then he’s gonna meet him next week in the ring! Jordan said that he’s got no problem with that and said that he said being a 2-time Smackdown Tag Team Champion could be GREAT!

Commissioner Regal then came out to applause from the Chicago crowd. Regal was here to make ‘a few’ announcements. He said that first, Bayley proposed defending her championship match in Brooklyn next month. So next week, Regal says there will be two matches, and then the winners will go on to face each other the following week for the right to face Bayley on December 20th for her Smackdown Women’s Title. Fair enough! Regal says those matches will be announced later tonight.

Regal then moves on and says that Kevin Owens sustained a rib injury but right now insists he’ll be good to go on Sunday. Regal says that if the match goes on, he will be barring ALL outside interference, and there must be a winner.

Regal also announces that tonight’s main event will be a rematch from three weeks ago. In a non-title match this time around, WWE Champion Kofi Kingston will go one on one with AJ Styles!

Then, Regal concludes by announcing that in two weeks, there will be a Fatal Four-Way Match to determine the next #1 Contender for the Intercontinental Championship! It will feature, Regal says, The Miz, Shinsuke Nakamura, Cesaro, and the newest member to the Smackdown roster, Regal says…

Ali!

Ali vs. Cedric Alexander:
Ali and Cedric get it done quickly here in a full-fledged sprint that doesn’t last a whole lot of time. But we’re here for a good time not a long time and Ali and Cedric bust out a match not unlike their 205 Live encounters from the past. Ali is invigorated by the hometown Chicago crowd and drills Cedric with a Shooting Star Press to pull off the victory.

BEST OF THE FOUR HORSEWOMEN ERA: The Four Horsewomen win the first-ever Women’s War Games match on the WWE main roster.

Humberto Carrillo approached Commissioner Regal after his speech. Carrillo said that he and Raul Mendoza are craving an opportunity. Regal asked what they wanted to do. Carrillo told Regal that they want to take on ‘the best tag team on the planet’ and Carrillo said that was The New Day! Quite an interesting statement to make! Regal said that he can’t obviously do that this week, but next week sounds like a ripe opportunity. Carrillo agreed and walked away.

Another live shot of the parking lot, while another view emerged of Randy Orton talking with his teammates. His 5th teammate has yet to arrive.

Dakota Kai emerged from the trainer’s room. Kai walked across the hallway into the locker room where Tegan Nox and Toni Storm were. They were gathering their things and Storm told Nox she’d see her a bit but she had to get something. Nox left and Dakota grabbed her things. Toni stopped her momentarily and talked with her. She asked Dakota if she talked to Bayley earlier. Kai said that, yes, she did. Storm asked her what she talked about with her. Dakota said Bayley tried to intimidate her but it didn’t work. Toni appeared pleased by that answer and asked Kai if she was going to be loyal to her on Sunday. Dakota said “of course” and pledged her loyalty to Toni.

An epic Four Horsewomen video package played, highlighting the long road we’ve gone on to get here.

Before the main event it appears that a massive brawl has broken out backstage!! The OC appears to be beating the hell out of Xavier Woods!! We then see a few Smackdown superstars try to get involved from the babyface side. They are dismissed by The OC and Jordan and Otis. Woods keeps getting hit hard until Bobby Lashley then comes in!! Lashley chases them all off but Woods is hurt bad!

{Commercials}

AJ Styles vs. Kofi Kingston: The Phenomenal One and the WWE Champion got it on in a rematch of their epic encounter from earlier this month. Styles and Kingston tangoed in a much faster-paced match as the show was nearing its end. Kingston really fought aggressively with Styles after The OC went after another one of his New Day brothers. Late in the match, the referee was hit hard by Styles incidentally. Kingston drilled him with Trouble in Paradise but the referee was out of commission. Kingston kept at it here but Styles hit him with a Low Blow. Styles then eventually went for the Styles Clash but Kofi rolled out of it. He then went for Trouble in Paradise again but Styles ducked and connected with a Pele Kick. Styles then went to put the Calf Crusher on Kingston with the referee still out of it. Kingston pushed Styles away and The Phenomenal One hit the referee AGAIN. Kingston went to go up as Styles got himself up. The referee was out of the ring. Kofi went in but then got blindsided by Finn Balor! Balor blasted Kofi with the Universal Championship. Styles smiled and the two then started beating him down! There was no referee and Finn then motioned to someone on the crowd. It quickly became apparent that it was Karl Anderson, Harper, and Luke Gallows! The entire OC from Raw made its way to ringside. And then The Usos joined them!

Kofi started fighting a 7-on-1 attack on his own. A valiant effort but one that eventually resulted in him being taken out. It damn near looked like the close of Monday Nitro in the fall of 1996! But then the cavalry came! A hobbled Xavier Woods came around first! Woods got into the ring and started going at The OC in defense of Kingston! He got in a few shots as Kingston, the WWE Champion, started fighting back also! The crowd cheered them on and then intensity picked up again as Bobby Lashley motored to the ring! Lashley dove in and started turning the tide back in the babyfaces’ favor!! His strength was a huge asset in the war but then—CRACK!! STEEL CHAIR BY FINN BALOR!! The Universal Champion gets one in again on one of the big boulders!

The match has long been thrown out and The OC starts to mug the wounded Lashley. Woods and Kingston are snuffed out by Styles and The Usos. Woods is beaten up on the outside by Jey and Jimmy and Styles is seen throwing Kingston on the outside. Just then, the mood changes again! Randy Orton raced down to the ring!

The Viper’s music charged the crowd up as he sprinted to the ring! Orton ducked a right from Karl Anderson—RKO! Luke Gallows then came in for a Big Boot. Ducked under! RKO! Down goes Gallows! Orton’s presence stops everyone in their tracks! Styles commands everyone’s attention, as does Balor. The OC retreats but only to ringside.

Just then the camera jerks backstage to the parking lot. A car is violently rolling in. Is this the partner!?! Renee Young appears ready to go talk to whoever. She goes toward the car after it parks. Climbing out of it is…

Oh shit.

IT’S BROCK LESNAR!

Well, that ain’t the partner!! But it’s sure somebody who wants a piece of The OC right now!! Balor and Styles caught that on the TitanTron as the crowd goes bonkers! Lesnar is seen walking briskly in towards Gorilla. He gets there and the crowd loses it after his theme hits. Brock comes out and gets the crowd going BANANAS again! Lesnar goes over and looks out at The OC as they’ve gotten up on the apron, side-by-side. Lesnar reaches out and picks Kingston up and pats him on the head. He then does the same for Woods. A gentle giant Brock Lesnar? Go figure! But Brock looks ready to fight too!! He leaps up on the apron and looks out at all seven other men. He looks like he could fight everybody himself! He hops into the ring and looks like he’s gonna do that anyway! And then Kofi gets into the ring with him!

So does Woods!

Then Bobby Lashley!

And then Randy Orton!

Well it’s 7-on-5 right now! Orton looks around and he sees Lesnar, but he only holds up four fingers… but then holds up his fifth.

Welp!

Chicago goes INSANE as someone pulls up to the venue.

IT’S ROMAN REIGNS!

Woooooooooo boy! It appears the rumors were true!! If you could see the looks on The Usos’ face. Or Styles. Or Balor! They are in TROUBLE NOW!!

Reigns came out and things went off the wall! A HUGE brawl broke out, but the babyfaces wound up standing tall!!

And it appeared that Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns, longtime rivals, were… on the same side?! Imagine…

But as Cole pointed out, the OC still has the numbers game advantage, and that might pay dividends on Sunday at Survivor Series when Brock challenges Finn for the Universal Title.

But payback is a bitch, and The Usos might be about to find that out in a big, BIG way this Sunday!

BREAKING NEWS: ONE OF THE FOUR HORSEWOMEN WILL LEAVE WWE

The pursuit of the big name set to leave WWE this Fall has nearly come to a close. It has been confirmed to us that one of the Four Horsewomen - Bayley, Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, or Sasha Banks - will exit the company after this weekend.

Earlier this Fall, we reported that a major name opted not to re-sign with the company. They informed WWE at the Madison Square Garden episodes of television in mid-September. Since then, they have remained a true professional backstage and have done nothing but honor their contracts.

Obviously, the impact of this superstar's exit, whoever it is, will be immense. The Four Horsewomen are credited with blazing a trail that led to the Women's Revolution in WWE. Since the four rose to fame, women's wrestling has grown exponentially more powerful and prominent in the company and the wrestling world. They will also exit the company as one of the biggest stars in the wrestling world. And, arguably, at insurmountable heights. The 4HW arc this year has been one of the most acclaimed storylines in modern WWE history.

So Sunday won't just be the 'end of an era' on TV. It turns out that it will mean so much more. Following Survivor Series, there will only be three Horsewomen in the company. The other likely will go to the blooming All Elite Wrestling, which could be a fascinating move in the current wrestling marketplace. Needless to say, whatever happens next will be shocking and signify the end of an era.

---

So if you've been keeping up with this thread for longer than its lifespan on this site, you'll know that we've been building to this. And it is true: One of the Four Horsewomen will no longer be in this Universe after Survivor Series is over.

In many ways, throughout this thread's history, I have pushed myself to do a lot. I've been ambitious and have written multiple brands. I've done a complete soap opera style storyline that lasted from the beginning of the thread until this very moment. The next post or two in this thread will be hugely consequential, as one of the biggest stars in the thread and the world today will no longer be used. They will be going to AEW. What happens with AEW around here? WIll they be the only one? Who's to say, pals.

Let's predict some stuff.

NXT Chi-Town Rumble Kickoff Show
November 23rd 2019 | Chicago, Illinois

Hosts Cathy Kelley and Sam Roberts welcomed us to NXT Chi-Town Rumble. Kelley and Roberts were joined by former 2-time NXT Champion Samoa Joe as well as Taz, which created a fun and unique panel unlike the monotonous ones that you see monthly. Seriously, not to get to out of character here, but how many times does the same exact show have to happen? They’re so banal.

Anyhow, the crew dished first on the NXT Tag Team Championships Match for tonight, a Chicago Street Fight between The Undisputed ERA and The Time Splitters. Joe said he’s excited for this one because he loves violence. Joe said that he expects that both teams will bring the violence because he also expects a sense of urgency. Joe promotes the big weekend that WWE has here and that there’s a buzz that he hasn’t felt in a very long time. Taz agreed with Joe about that and said that Chicago always brings it but the intensity is on another level. The Human Supolex Machine said he’s also looking forward to all the physicality that this match is going to have. He said that the one thing that he learned in ECW is that violence shows the kind of man you are and the kind of man that you’re willing to become to stay successful. So he’s going to be looking at how far these four guys are gonna go to either win or retain the NXT Tag Team Titles.

Deonna Purrazzo burst into Triple H’s office backstage while he was talking to Taynara Conti. Purrazzo apologized for intruding but pled her case to be involved in the #1 Contender’s Match tonight. Purrazzo said that she is the ONLY NXT superstar to defeat Toni Storm this year. She said that should mean something, because she did it in the highest stakes imaginable: The Mae Young Classic semifinals. She said she was much more deserving than ‘some people,’ glaring right at Taynara. Uncalled for. Triple H sighed but said that he does agree with that. He said that Deonna makes as fair a point as she can make and she did win the 2 out of 3 Falls Match against Smackdown’s Mia Yim. So, tonight’s match WILL be a Fatal Four-Way. Conti spoke up and said that she doesn’t mind the extra company because that’s just another box of Kleenexes that’ll be used for Deonna when she’s busy crying after Tay wins the match tonight!

Danny Garcia had a conversation with Drew Gulak backstage. Gulak said that he admired Garcia’s heart and determination last week. They didn’t get the victory, but it’s coming, he said, especially if he remains that determined. Santana and Ortiz then walked by and mocked the two of them for losing last week. Garcia got right in Ortiz’s face after that! Ortiz asked him what he thought he was doing and Garcia told him that if he wanted to talk trash then he should be prepared to back it up. Ortiz laughed in his face but Garcia then challenged him to a match here and now!! Ortiz laughed again and told him he was clueless to his face and accepted the challenge!

This week on NXT…

REY MYSTERIO lands in NXT!

Alongside wrestling ICON JUSHIN ‘THUNDER’ LIGER!

Shotzi Blackheart (w/ Brandi Lauren) vs. Peyton Royce (w/ Billie Kay):
Shotzi Blackheart got her feet wet again this evening against Peyton Royce. The two had a solid match in front of an arriving crowd that got themselves into the match. Shotzi had yet another strong performance, with Lauren evening the odds to keep Billie at bay. Royce attempted to steal a victory by holding onto Billie’s hands, but Shotzi broke up the pin. Brandi then eventually struck Billie as she got down off the apron. Then ducked a clothesline from Royce, blasted her with a Spinebuster, and then brought herself up… for a Ballsy Bomb (Senton Bomb)! Shotzi and Brandi bowed out after embarrassing The IIconics by herself here, and they looked like they wanted revenge on her!

While the panel discussed the antics of Cameron Grimes, who promised to hold the first-ever ‘Star Maker Invitational’ on this evening’s show, the panel got disrupted. Bronson Reed and Shane Thorne arrived and got kind of annoying as they are to do. Reed kept staring at Joe, and Joe eventually noticed this and got in his face! Taz calmed the Samoan Submission Machine down, but Joe told Reed that he can take a picture, because it’ll last longer.

After an ad break, Kris Statlander got interviewed before her big match tonight. But, frustrated from earlier, The IIconics took their anger out on Kris! Looking like a bunch of sore losers, Peyton and Billie beat Statlander into the wall. But then they were thwarted off after officials started to intervene!! Shotzi Blackheart and Brandi Lauren each got shots in on them and got the annoying duo away! Quite the scene developing!

The panel talked about the NXT UK Championship Match set for tonight, which they were completely even on picking. Taz and Joe each picked Sheamus, while Roberts and Kelley both picked WALTER. Then they discussed both Iron Survivor Matches. The panel agreed that Adam Cole would retain, but questioned what Roderick Strong would be doing in the match. Cole said keeping the title in UE was Priority #1, but Strong IS a member. The same questions emerged about Kairi Sane and Io Shirai. Taz said that he hopes Io has her mind right because she’s been focused on a lot of things and all the women in the Iron Survivor Match could take her championship from them. In fact, Taz picks Kairi to do it!

Before the last Kickoff match, an interesting confrontation went down in the back. A wounded Kris Statlander was deemed good to go for tonight’s Iron Survivor Match. Stat went to make her way out of the room. Then, Kay Lee Ray emerged. KLR appeared annoyed by Statlander’s presence, which Kris picked up and so she asked her if she had a problem. KLR pled no, but said that if she isn’t careful she won’t find it hard to find one. Kris said she wasn’t fearful of anybody, but she had more important business to worry about. Like winning the NXT Women’s Championship tonight and becoming the fastest-rising star in the cosmos. Ray then definitely appeared annoyed as Statlander left the room.

Drew Gulak then had Danny Garcia ready backstage to face Ortiz. But Gulak had a surprise for Garcia: He wasn’t planning to go to the ring. Instead, Gulak said he hired a new coach that he was going to show him next week. But since he went and got himself a match, he figured he’d introduce him early. Gulak then did just that… and it was Shelton Benjamin who Gulak had hired! Wow! That’s… quite the pull! Garcia immediately appeared impressed as Shelton shook his hand and off they went.

Danny Garcia (w/ Shelton Benjamin) vs. Ortiz (w/ Santana): So Danny Garcia is feeling a bit exuberant here and is invigorated by the presence of his new coach. Shelton Benjamin, of course, was a former multi-time Intercontinental Champion and a former United States Champion. If Garcia were to achieve that someday, that would be a hell of an accomplishment. For now a determined Garcia fights with Ortiz who has the lumbering advantage over him. He’s more physical than him as well but Garcia and his grappling puts him in a good spot anyway. Garcia nearly puts Ortiz away after getting in a good spot, but tries to show off to Benjamin with an attempted T-Bone Suplex! Ortiz counters out of it, sensing it coming and then DRILLED him with a huge Lariat. A 3 count later and Ortiz defeated Garcia.

Toni Storm then was seen arriving to the arena in a black Escalade. Storm, looking good, walked and looked like a star with the Intercontinental Title on her shoulder and she was likely heading to ringside to see who her next contender will be!

NXT Tag Team Championships Match – Chicago Street Fight
The Undisputed ERA © vs. The Time Splitters

This one gets feisty right away as the two teams convene near the stage and engage in a brawl. The fight extends around the arena and through the rabid Allstate Arena crowd. Then the action gets back over to ringside where the battle continues. Shelley and KUSHIDA put the champions on their heels early. Fish and O’Reilly are veterans though and they weather the early storm before turning it around. Fish and O’Reilly isolate KUSHIDA and crush his arm with a double kick into the steel steps, with KUSHIDA’s arm trapped by the ringpost!! He received attention from the referees and while that happened, Shelley had to fight 2-on-1. Kyle and Bobby decimated Shelley and used weapons to their advantage. But the Michigan native Shelley is resilient. He kicked out of each attempted pinfall by O’Reilly or Fish. But then the duo continued to brutalize him. After O’Reilly landed a few hard kicks on him, Fish slammed a chair into his back! Shelley fell to his knees and then got up, but then he got HI-LO’D! O’Reilly went for the cover, but then from outta nowhere, KUSHIDA emerged to break up the pin! A gutty KUSHIDA fended O’Reilly and Fish off to storm back into favor! His energy was contagious as Shelley gathered himself up too and they turned up the heat on the champions! They ripped off the top of the Spanish announce table and went to work on Fish. KUSHIDA isolated O’Reilly with a big kick and sent him over the barricade! He then held Fish down while Shelley got up on the barricade! Shelley then tiptoed along it and DROPPED AN ELBOW INTO HIS CHEST, PLOWING THROUGH THE TABLE!! They went for the cover – this is a street fight, we can pin wherever! But Fish somehow kicked out!! Fish eventually gets back into the swing of things here as he goes after KUSHIDA. They start fighting in the ring and Fish subdues him. But KUSHIDA counters a running strike and puts Bobby on his heels. It’s now Fish who is resilient as he kicks out of a Shellshock from Shelley! Surely the titles were going to change hands, but Fish kicked out in the nick of time. KUSHIDA then decides to put Fish into the Hoverboard Lock! Fish held on for dear life while we see Kyle try to get up to get involved. Shelley though takes a big-time risk as he goes up to the top rope. He looks down at O’Reilly who catches his attention. And it’s not too late as Shelley splashes down on O’Reilly!! KUSHIDA tightens the grip and Fish TAPS OUT and we have new Tag Team Champions!!
WINNERS: The Time Splitters (via submission, 18:35). The Time Splitters are the NEW NXT Tag Team Champions.

Bianca Belair, the NXT UK Women’s Champion
is shown at ringside alongside Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins, The Street Profits! The former Tag Team Champions appear quite enthused with the previous result.

Footage from earlier in the Kickoff Show played of Kris Statlander being pummeled by The IIconics. We learned that Triple H sent Billie and Peyton back home to Florida in response to the incident. Additionally, while Statlander received contusions on her elbow, she is ‘good to go’ for tonight’s Iron Survivor Match. But she will be playing with a heavy deck.

WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship #1 Contender’s Fatal Four Way Match
Deonna Purrazzo vs. Ember Moon vs. Kay Lee Ray vs. Taynara Conti

With champion Toni Storm sitting in the front row, she watched while four hungry competitors did battle for the right to face her. NXT wasn’t excluded from Women’s IC Championship shots, so Toni Storm will be appearing in Florida a few more times it seems. As for the match, a lot of talent on display. And a high sense of urgency. Each woman wants to prove a point. Deonna, especially, comes off as a brash woman who wants to make sure everyone knows that SHE is the uncrowned champion of WWE. Ember Moon might be among the most talented wrestlers, gender irrelevant, without a championship. Kay Lee Ray went deep in the Mae Young Classic but lost to Tegan Nox. Then there is Taynara Conti, the underdog of the matchup. Conti fights with a ton of energy that gets the crowd to rally behind her a bit. She wreaks havoc on the other combatants and their attempts to win the match by being a thorn in their side. Things get furious toward the end as the sense of urgency ramps up. Moon had Conti ready for the Eclipse… but Purrazzo came over and blasted her! Deonna then got into the ring and then after a brief tussle, drilled Moon with a beautiful, picture-perfect Superplex! And then Ray, from outta NOWHERE, blasted Moon with a Swanton Bomb! Then we saw Conti grab Kay Lee and throw her out of the ring!! Conti then scrambled and covered Moon and nearly stole the win! But Purrazzo broke it up!! She then grabbed Moon and ditched her too and then blasted Tay with a huge forearm to the face! She knocked her clean out nearly and then grabbed her arm and put her in the Fujiwara Armbar!! She then got Tay to tap out moments later!!
WINNER: Deonna Purrazzo via submission at 9:09. Purrazzo is the NEW #1 Contender for the Women’s Intercontinental Title.

Following the match, Storm and Purrazzo nearly got into it at ringside! Deonna told Toni that she had what belonged to her but Storm, confident as ever, didn’t back down one bit.

Cathy Kelley interviewed a very confident Cameron Grimes, who said he was about to make the BIGGEST star he’s ever made!

The injured Johnny Gargano appeared to massive cheers from the Chicago audience! Gargano, alongside his wife Candice LeRae, were at ringside. Hm. That’s an interesting time for that.

Cameron Grimes walked to the ring and while he cut a promo on Chicago, he noticed that Gargano and LeRae were at ringside. So naturally, they became the subject of Grimes’ promo. Cameron ran Gargano down for being hobbled, and said that he can’t be “Johnny TakeOver” tonight and he knows it’s eating him up inside. He can’t even be Johnny Survivor Series because he’s too broken down now! Grimes said that he needed to sit back and watch how it was done now. That brought out a man we hadn’t seen since before the thread even began!

TOMMASO CIAMPA re-entered the NXT Universe!! Ciampa got an electric reaction from the fans in Chicago. The crowd roared while he walked to the ring and Grimes looked like he soiled himself!

‘Star-Maker’ Invitational
Cameron Grimes vs. Tommaso Ciampa

This was a certified ass-kicking. Cameron Grimes, through hell or high water, has been talking a lot of trash. So naturally, the returning babyface is going to get his licks in! Ciampa beats Grimes up from pillar to post in and around the ring. He is sure to jump on the apron and clap, drawing a massive reaction again from the Chi-Town crowd. Ciampa eventually puts this one to bed. There wasn’t any doubt once “NO ONE WILL SURVIVE” blared over the PA system at Allstate Arena. But Ciampa left no doubt about this one after drilling Grimes with the Fairy Tale Ending!
WINNER: Tommaso Ciampa via pinfall at 4:34.

Ciampa posed with Gargano and LeRae on the outside after the match concluded. A distraught Grimes threw a Christian-like temper tantrum circa 2002.

STARRCADE

DECEMBER 18th | ATLANTA, GEORGIA

Seth Rollins, Daniel Bryan, and Pete Dunne
were shown off at ringside to a huge reaction the Chicago crowd.

NXT UK Championship
WALTER © vs. Sheamus

Boy, is this a donnybrook. It is years before their epic clashes in real life in 2022 at Clash at the Castle and their second go at it. But this is a stirring affair to say the least. Sheamus comes out heavy and hits hard. He’s not as favorable to the crowd as WALTER is, but the Celtic Warrior is able to rally fan support his way throughout the match by being a hard-hitting MFer. WALTER is as well, as he lays it in on Sheamus as the two just get physical with each other. There’s a ton of physicality in this match. Each hit comes off harder than the other. There isn’t hate in the air. This hasn’t gotten personal. This has just been a war over the NXT UK Championship and for supremacy. WALTER would earn the biggest win of his career tonight, beating a man in Sheamus who has won everything there is to win in WWE except the Intercontinental Championship. And, well, including the UK Title that he’s fighting for tonight. But WALTER doesn’t make it easy on him. No, no, no. Towards the end of this match, an exhausted Sheamus gets WALTER on his heels for a moment! He keeps going and WALTER is reeling! Sheamus then goes in for the kill! The Brogue Kick! NO! WALTER moves out of the way and absolutely BLASTS him with a Clothesline! WALTER then picks Sheamus up… and POWERBOMBS him to the mat! A three count later and WALTER was victorious. But not after leaving it all in the ring with The Celtic Warrior. In a rare sign of respect, WALTER acknowledged Sheamus before he left the ring with Imperium. Sheamus nodded his head, as perhaps the two would meet again someday…
WINNER: WALTER via pinfall at 15:45. WALTER retained the NXT UK Title.

Former NXT Women’s Champion Asuka then appeared at ringside to the surprise of the Chicago crowd. Asuka got them all riled up here and hey, why the hell not?

NXT Women’s Championship Iron Survivor Match
Io Shirai © vs. Chelsea Green vs. Kairi Sane vs. Kris Statlander vs. Mercedes Martinez

This one was intense, hotly-contested, and dramatic. The 15 minutes these women had were full-throttle from the start. Io Shirai flexed her muscles over everybody and picked up the first fall on Chelsea Green. Shirai Moonsaulted on Green in just 3 minutes, asserting her dominance. But Kairi Sane wasn’t too far behind her. While she was Io’s ally, Kairi picked up an early pinfall about 90 seconds later. The two were tied at one apiece, but then Kris Statlander joined the party. Stat was put in a 2-on-1 predicament by Shirai and Sane, picked up as a threat early on by the tag team. But Statlander eventually reversed a double Suplex attempt into a double DDT! Stat then went up to the top rope and went for AREA 451… but Shirai moved out of the way to preserve herself! Statlander landed clean on Sane and pinned her!

So at one point here, we were knotted up at 1 fall apiece between Sane, Shirai, and Statlander. Kairi eventually, perhaps shockingly, picked up the lead later in the matchup. Kairi blasted Mercedes Martinez with her In-SANE Elbow and got the 3 count! Kairi held the lead, which drew shock from her tag team partner and friend. That caused Shirai to ramp her intensity up while Sane tried to keep her lead maintained. But Kairi was on the wrong side of a pump kick by Statlander that LOOKED like it was going for Io! But Io tucked and rolled and stood in there while Sane got blasted. Chelsea would attempt to sneak in there, but her efforts proved futile.

Shirai eventually got on the board again after Statlander missed her Area 451! Shirai rolled out of the way and then, giftedly as ever, planted Stat with the Moonsault to tie things up at 2! With only a few minutes remaining, things got tight. The action got more ramped up but Shirai and Kairi would clear the ring… and then found themselves opposing each other! Io appeared to seem like it was going to be easy, but Kairi wouldn’t budge when Shirai expected her to just give her the win! Kairi, in fact, lit Io up with an elbow to the crowd’s delight as the two women started scrapping! It became a battle to see who would do what it took to win. But noteworthy perhaps is that Kairi’s lower leg had been damaged throughout the match after Mercedes Martinez slammed the steel steps into it with her boot! As Io saw Kairi walking towards the corner to look for the In-SANE Elbow, and put a potential end to her title run… She CHOP-BLOCKED Kairi!! A completely legal maneuver in pro wrestling, but a cheap shot nonetheless! Io shook her head at Kairi, as if to say she was disappointed in her that she’d try it on her, and then QUICKLY slammed her down to the mat. With anxious seconds remaining, Io went to the top again.

AND HIT THE MOONSAULT AGAIN ON KAIRI!

1! 2! 3!!

***BUZZER***

BUZZER-BEATER! IO RETAINS!!

WINNER: Io Shirai. Shirai RETAINS the NXT Women’s Title at 20:00.

SCOREBOARD:

Shirai: 3
Sane: 2
Statlander: 1
Martinez: 0

Green: 0

Things got incredibly tense afterwards, with Io watching Kairi get herself up. Shirai got in her face and told her something as Sane stood there and listened. Io then stood in the center of the ring and demanded Kairi put the title around her waist again. It’s the same sequence we’ve now seen twice! At TakeOver: Toronto, Sane helped Shirai defeat Candice LeRae and did the thing. At REvolution, Io defeated Kairi and the same thing happened again.

And, well, despite a moment of wondering… Sane strapped the title around Io’s waist. She raised Io’s hand in victory. It felt like maybe the tides would rise…but it was not to be.

THIS JANUARY…

NXT Championship Iron Survivor Match
Adam Cole © vs. Jordan Myles vs. Keith Lee vs. Roderick Strong vs. Tyler Bate

This proves to be a firecracker. A melee, if you will, as all five collide for this high-stakes main event. Cole and Strong work together in the early bit to try and keep everybody else down. But Lee, Myles, and Bate are all too energetic and too resilient to be taken down right away. Cole and Strong’s double team does work for a while to get Myles and Bate away, but Lee proves to be too big and too strong to immediately take down.

As the match wears on, nobody can get one over on the other. That’s the biggest storyline that emerges here. It’s a race for the first fall, and the race just seems to continue! 5 minutes in there’s nobody on the board. Then after 10 minutes, there’s also no one on the board! That kind of intensity should only lead to even more energy towards the end. And a whole lot more urgency as someone is going to go for the big blow. Things keep getting more intense as it not only becomes a race for the first fall but also a race to break up the attempts at falls too!! Adam Cole frenetically does this, but then finds an awkward spot. He jumps in the ring after seeing the ref go down to make the count, but he stops short just as he sees it’s Roddy who’s pinning Bate!! Strong looked up at Cole as he was coming over, and actually accidentally broke up the count himself! An awkward moment to be sure.

Cole and Strong kept things clear but Strong’s fight with Myles took him outside! Cole was left to fend for himself against Bate and Bate put him up in an Airplane Spin! He then saw Roddy coming his way as he went up for a Flying Knee! But Bate moved Cole’s head right in the way! Oh man!! Bate threw Roddy out and then went for the cover! Cole however, put his foot on the ropes in the nick of time! The score remained zeros across the board as Cole somehow averted falling behind after appearing knocked out! But he still had the wherewithal to continue on. Strong then got back in the ring and put a beating on Bate. But Tyler then took him out with a clothesline! He then went for the Tyler Driver ’97, as Cole looked like he was going to get up! Bate hit it! Cole was up in the corner! 1! Cole … DROPPED DOWN! 2! NO!!! Roddy kicked out at the VERY last minute! But Adam Cole was about to let him get pinned!

At least that’s what some might argue! Cole looked spent, but he almost just saw a huge disadvantage ahead of him and he did nothing to stop it!! Meanwhile, outside the ring, Shane Thorne suddenly appeared and grabbed Jordan Myles from behind! Hey! Myles had made an enemy out of TMDK but Thorne just provoked him!! Myles punched him but then Bronson Reed came in and knocked Myles down!! Bronson then started to beat Myles up and put him up against the barricade. Reed appeared to want to drive him through it! Reed ran over but then suddenly Keith Lee ran through Reed and POUNCED HIM THROUGH THE BARRICADE INSTEAD!! HOLY CRAP!!

Meanwhile, in the ring as time was ticking down, a three way dance of sort broke out!! Cole and Strong weren’t fighting each other but they were clearly trying to get on the board!! Bate sent Cole away with a huge forearm to the jaw! Strong then picked him up and … END OF HEARTACHE!! But THEN—ADAM COLE WITH THE LAST SHOT TO STRONG!! OH GOD!! COLE PINS BATE!! 1! 2!! 3!!! COLE ON THE BOARD!!

3…

**BUZZER**

WINNER: Adam Cole. Cole RETAINS the NXT Title at 25:00.

SCOREBOARD:

Cole: 1
Strong: 0
Bate: 0
Lee: 0

Myles: 0

MY GOODNESS!! Adam Cole survives a thrilling Iron Survivor Match and retains the championship!! But there’s absolutely no doubt that he took Roddy out with the Last Shot!! Roddy could have gotten the pin on Bate, who was OUT either way, and that’s why Cole won! There’s no mistake!

But nevertheless…

Adam Cole and The Undisputed ERA remain on top!

Sorry for partying. We've got ground to pick up and I haven't finished Survivor Series yet.

WWE Survivor Series Kickoff Show
November 24th 2019 | Chicago, Illinois

The Survivor Series Kickoff Show kicked off with a melee in the ring! The show began with Sami Zayn, Damian Priest, and Dave Mastiff all in the ring. Zayn was busy insulting the Chicago fans and then Kevin Owens interrupted the festivities! The Intercontinental Champion dove into the ring and went after all three men!! That turned into a triple-team, but much like on Friday night, Cesaro and Sheamus were ready to make the save! The Bar evened up the odds and the melee erupted! It spilled out into the ringside area and even into the crowd! Zayn and Owens wound up fighting near the Kickoff Show panel. The panel dispersed as the two fought on the top of the desk!! Security eventually separated champion from challenger while the other four continued to fight tooth and nail!

Things finally settled down after a few moments. After we regathered ourselves we attempted to go down with the proceedings. Later on, staying on beat, Commissioner William Regal made a couple announcements. First of all, Regal said that during tonight’s Intercontinental Championship bout all outside parties were going to be BARRED from ringside! Regal then said that if the other four superstars want to fight so bad, then tonight here on the Kickoff Show, we’re going to have a tag team match between the teams of Damian Priest and Dave Mastiff and The Bar!!

Speaking of tag teams, Fire and Desire then approached Commissioner Regal. Mandy and Sonya each complained that not only were the two of them not elected to either team – something that they as professionals, can understand – but there is not a single offering for any of the other hard-working women on the program tonight. Commissioner Regal grants them their request, to their shock. He said that he will find a team for them to face here tonight on the Kickoff Show! Well that is very, very interesting.

Robert Stone was found backstage near the half-hour mark of the two-hour Kickoff Show. Stone appeared by the top of the ramp leading to the entrance/exit of Allstate Arena. Walking through the door then was R-Truth! Truth got Stone’s attention immediately. While he looked around over his shoulder, Truth told Stone that he had heard a HUGE rumor about tonight’s show. Stone was intrigued. Truth then whispered it into his ear, and Stone’s eyes widened. “No,” Stone said. “There’s no way.” Truth told him that it was what he heard. He said he got done talking to somebody who said that this person was on their way to the show! Stone’s eyes widened again and then he asked him if he could go looking for them too. Truth told him yeah, but they had to be stealthy. Stone nodded and the duo left! What in the world?!

Before she would compete in a match against Mia Yim, Jamie Hayter stood for an interview with Renee Young. Hayter talked about her confidence and the fact that she isn’t going to let anybody push her around. That’s why she made sure to tell Bayley what she did on Friday night. Then, suddenly, Toni Storm entered the picture. She politely asked Renee to leave, telling her she wanted to handle some “business.” Storm looked Hayter in the eyes. She said that she heard her challenge to Bayley on Friday and then advised her about what she was getting into. Storm said that she was big-eyed looking at Bayley a few months ago but she’s one of the most cunning, dangerous, deceitful, and powerful women in WWE today. She didn’t want Hayter to walk into a trap.

Hayter said that she didn’t need Storm to feel concerned for her. She said that might have happened to Toni, but the last time that she checked the two of them weren’t the same. That caused some friction. Hayter said that she didn’t need Toni taking an interest in her decision-making. In her mind, Bayley is at the top of the food chain, and she needs to know right now where she stands. So if she falls, she simply has a lot to learn. Storm sounded disconcerted as she watched Hayter walk away towards Gorilla.

Jamie Hayter vs. Mia Yim: Hayter came into this match motivated. Yim was on the receiving end of a pretty intense attack from the youngster. The commentary team talked about the tense exchange Jamie had with Toni Storm before the match and the potential trickle-down. In the ring though, Hayter continued to lay into Yim with a physical brand of offense. When Yim did deliver, she appeared less impactful. In a quick amount of time, Jamie unleashed a lot of physicality on Mia. That eventually led to her demise! Hayter sent Yim into the ropes and then came off like Prime JBL with a WALLOPING Clothesline! She got the 3 count and the rest was history. Jamie Hayter def. Mia Yim via pinfall at 5:46.

After the match ended, we cut backstage to find Toni Storm again. Storm shook her head after watching Hayter win and then walked into her locker room. Inside she found Asuka, Dakota Kai, and Tegan Nox. She addressed them and said that she was more confident than ever that they were going to get the job done. Dakota echoed that and once again pledged that she would fight for Toni tonight. Tegan also pledged to do the same and Asuka appeared to do the same. But wait a minute: Where was Liv Morgan?

Suddenly there was a loud shriek. Storm and the girls broke out of the room and there we saw Liv and she was going after Ruby Riott!! The two appeared to meet in the narrow hallway and Morgan was beating on Ms. Money in the Bank!! Storm charged over to pull her away to restrain her. Morgan definitely wanted more though but she got a lick in on Ruby, that’s for sure!

Drew McIntyre held court for an interview with Renee Young. McIntyre said that he was confident in his boys tonight even after a rocky past few weeks. He said the situation with Rey Mysterio appeared to bring them all together. Before McIntyre left the scene, Tiffany Stratton arrived. Stratton had an envelope for McIntyre and handed him it. Drew looked at it and it was addressed to him, but no sender. Drew opened it and there was a letter. McIntyre examined it… … … and then shook his head and just flipped it in the air. Renee picked it up after as the camera turned around and saw, written in dark gold ink: “We’re watching you, Drew, always.”

Commissioner Regal
was in his office and arriving inside was Nikki Cross! Cross said that she heard that there was going to be a tag team match tonight. Regal confirmed that and said he was looking for a team to face Mandy and Sonya. Nikki said that she had an interest, but also had someone in mind. The camera widened to reveal… newcomer Isla Dawn! How interesting… Nikki said that she found ‘another friend’ in Isla, who she has a history with, being they’re both from Scotland. Isla smiled innocently and said she would be delighted to have an opportunity. Regal nodded and then made the match!

Mickie James was seen earlier today doing a meet-and-greet at the WWE Superstore location. Trish Stratus crashed the party, however. Stratus eyed up Mickie and said she was “surprised” that there was such a long line, she didn’t realize Mickie still worked there. Ouch. Mickie asked Trish what she wanted. Stratus responded by saying that tonight she was going to compete in a match here in Chicago, a town the two knew quite well. She said that she has a little ‘problem’ with an emphasis on little. James said she was aware that she was feuding with Alexa Bliss, but Mickie said that she considered Bliss a friend. Trish asked her if she’s considered if Alexa has ever reciprocated anything. James said she wasn’t looking for anything transactional, but Trish emphasized that she wasn’t either, but she’s just telling it like it is. James said that Trish could be around someone who she broke barriers with or be somebody’s lapdog. Ouch. James restrained herself, but that was a venomous statement.

MVP led a promo with the new Raw Tag Team Champions, the Franchise Players. MVP said that they’ve been celebrating with the biggest stars in the world for the last week but they're happy to be here in Chicago. As a bonus treat for everybody, MVP said that the 'One and Only' Ricochet was going to be in action. Before the end of the promo, the confident Ricochet alluded to the fact that he might want some more gold!

Fire and Desire vs. Isla Dawn and Nikki Cross: Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville were itching for competition. They got a bit more than they bargained for with the energetic Nikki Cross and the mysterious Isla Dawn. Dawn did a lot of traffic-directing in this match as Nikki worked almost at her demands most of the time. But at other times, Nikki was a bit of a wrecking ball. A new side of Cross was unleashed after a short stint as Toni Storm’s tag team partner. Isla was able to pick up some of the scraps after Nikki did most of the work. Dawn grabbed Deville and dropped her with a Widow’s Peak! Shades of Victoria! And the three count was made! Isla Dawn and Nikki Cross def. Fire and Desire via pinfall at 7:07.

R-Truth and Robert Stone
ran into The Street Profits backstage. The two asked the Profits if they heard any “rumors” like the ones they hear. Ford, a Chicago native, said that he knows what they mean and that it’s “always on everyone’s mind” every time they’re here so he hasn’t even thought about it. Tez went to leave but Dawkins stuck around and then told Truth he apparently saw something. What did he see?! Dawkins said that he was with Rey Mysterio at the time and his son Dominik. Interesting…

Alexa Bliss had an awkward encounter with Mickie James following James’ run-in with Trish Stratus earlier today. James claimed that Trish didn’t and does not influence her decisions. So she said that she won’t interrupt her match tonight because of anything that Trish said. Alexa said she knew Mickie was “always a friend” and hugged her.

Ricochet vs. Cedric Alexander: Cedric Alexander of Smackdown took up Ricochet on an open challenge that The One and Only’s manager MVP sent out after The Franchise Players went to the ring. Alexander gave Ricochet some fits in this battle of cruiserweights. This was a bit random, but the energy was the important factor here. It stirred the Chicago crowd up and the two pulled off some stunning feats of athleticism. After Alexander put Ricochet on his heels, Apollo Crews distracted the official. MVP slid his boot to Ricochet, and Ricochet smacked it across Cedric’s face! Ricochet then went over and hit the 630 en route to a 1-2-3 victory!

Randy Orton approached Roman Reigns backstage before the end of the Kickoff Show. Orton wanted to get a sense of where Roman’s head was at. Reigns said that over the last few weeks, he’s felt a lot of feelings. Betrayed, confused, hurt, upset. But now he’s just been angry. He told Orton that he’s been able to control that anger, but that tonight, he plans on channeling it into an ass-whooping on his family! Reigns said that he didn’t want to fight his own blood, but after a phone call with someone that he’s always looked up to, he is out for revenge tonight!

Brock Lesnar was seen walking towards Gorilla! It looks like that’s how we’re beginning the night!

"What?!"

"Who was that?! What just happened?!"

"I can't believe what we're seeing here!!"

"He's out for much more than a win tonight!"

"She's everything they said she was!"

"The next generation of WWE is before our very eyes!"

...

"Oh my God. She--"

"I can't believe what I'm seeing."

...

"It never had to be this way..."

"But it was, Michael."

"All these years spent... just for it to end this way."

"Tragic."

"That's life...when you fight for gold."
