Okay now this is the second time you've done something like this, using past game experience to try and shape the narrative in a current game. I called you out when you mentioned the Miller claim potentially being fake, now you're saying that Poyser could be wolf because you had to share a vote when you were wolf once. Why do you keep doing that? Why do you keep implying these abilities could potentially be wolf? I don't like your excuse saying "we'll just take care of them down the road if they're still alive". It feels like to me you're having trouble legitimately wolf hunting right now.

I don't really agree here but I do think your very last line could be something if it keeps up bc he would feel pressure to post bc he's super active as town usually so forcing content that isn't exactly hunting wouldn't be a good look. But it's still early and I don't have any red flags at all for bringing up past games when people are town clearing others essentially for role reasons that we've 100% been burned on before (the miller one)

Nah, I was doing the opposite. I was clearly defending Poyser. Read my other posts saying to leave him around.

Also, that's good detective work. Knowing people's metas and how the host operates.

It doesn't matter if you were defending Poyser earlier, it's that you keep leaving the back door open on some of these people for no reason. For example, I caught Lethal in their first post last game because they gave a strong Town read on someone (I think Jeff?) but then also said that they could be scum as well, for literally no reason. I really don't care how much you defend someone the fact that you still said at the end of it all that they could still be wolf is sketchy.

And it's not good detective work. Any speculation on hosting or set-up is angle shooting at best and should be NAI. And while meta is great, any player worth their salt should be able to change their game play up or be aware of how they play if they rand a certain way. Focusing on meta, hosting, or set-ups scream to me fake content and has nothing to do with actual wolf hunting as far as I'm concerned.

I mean I don't dislike Smark exploring all possibilities here. Letting people skate by on claims (or lack of) attributes to defeats.

Yeah that's fine to call out claims but the way they're doing it seems like they're just trying to leave a back door open to go through later, especially with Phenom. I just don't love the line "if they're alive in a few days we kill them" kind of attitude.

Is this strike three? This is more soft pushing from you and pretty bad. Do you believe the Miller claim or not? Do you believe he should get a few days grace before calling his claim fake or not? Because now it seems like you're ready to go after Phenom despite saying that if they were alive for a few more phases then they would be worthy of going after.

For me past game talk is just a way to look active and productive without being able to say anything about the current game. You're free to determine that as you'd like, but to me there isn't a lot of merit about talking about past games, unless it's maybe a quick reference.

I agree on general principle that this is true a lot but I think in this situation it was more of a quick reference but then he was questioned on it and it's in his nature to respond to everything directed at him so here we are still going and it's a whole talk lol

That wasn't my point, though. It's the fact that you supposedly defended and thought Poyser was Town, only to then say "hey, I had a similar role as scum before so just maybe...". Those kind of open-ended answers ping me because it feels like you don't want to fully commit or you want to hedge your bets a bit.
