There were better targets for sure, but Ekko only won because he finally claimed his role and town liked it.

Fine I will explain his trick.

Just before getting lynched he claims cop.
So he knows this is a Claimed cop Vs a Vanilla town.
Town will want to protect the Claimed Cop.
He survives.

The only way this is a Pro town move is if the cop checks on ekko tonight.
They will confirm ekko to be town or cop the next day.
If they are town then cop lets him play like nothing.
Mafia will shoot ekko and he will flip Vanilla.
Cop keeps checking.
If ekko is mafia then cop will try and lynch him the next day.

Ekko told me earlier that his role was similar to a town role blocker.
gunsmith is not similar tbh.
