Not long, no, but Hunter shows his restraint with Jade. He’s smart.

He’ll send Starks to NXT for like 3-6 months and call him up.
I guess they could do the Dragon Lee approach yeah but I don't really see a world where they sign them properly to the NXT brand and then go from there.

I can see either case. I think it depends on if Hunter or Shawn have a creative plan in place first.

Yep. NWA National Champion.
Definitely would like to see him somewhere promising. Heard lots of good things about him. It’s why I sign him in alot of my TEW games and push him

While I do think this is overall better for WWE and AEW, I have to wonder how it's going to affect the B-promotions: Impact, NWA, MLW, etc.

If WWE/AEW are going all out in bidding wars, that's surely going to affect the ability for those smaller promotions to retain their talent, unless they give up major concessions to their talents.

Pretty much the same thing that happened to ECW during the Monday Night Wars.

WWE and WCW were throwing money at everyone and with Paul E’s bad management style, they lost all their top talent.

Wouldn’t be surprised if it happens to Impact over the next 2 years or so

I mean I don't think it really changes that much in all honesty. It almost feels like the same situation we're at right now, just ramped up even more.

TNA management seemingly is much better than ECW. TNA will be the place people go to get noticed by AEWWE and they'll be fine. They likely won't have guys like AJ stick around for 10 years but they'll get guys like that.

This iteration of TNA’s management is much better, yes.

Because for as good as Paul E is/was when it comes to wrestling, he was never a good businessman.

But yes, Impact is probably going to be a feeder system; especially for younger guys. Talent can come in and get 2-3-4 years experience, then if they’re impressive enough, the big leagues will come calling.

Meltzer noted that Endeavor is used to paying UFC talent a much larger percentage of the company’s revenue, and WWE doesn’t come close to that number. That being said, the idea that Endeavor won’t be offering huge deals is a moot point now.

The fuck outta here, they been lowballing their fighters with BS ppv point deals when you know that platform is washed.

Undercut them on their sponsorship deals, freeze out outside sponsors of fighters.

Not too mention their whole UFC entry plan is through the Dana White contender series where the deals are low end for multiple fights.....the fucj outta here.

Until after Mania season when it's time to cut people because of "budget cuts".
