I got bored of Triple H telling Shawn to end it, made him sound a bit desperate in the end. A few times would have worked better, less is more and what not. But overall it was a fantastic match. Both men put themselves through more than last year, and the end product made Taker look stronger than last year, which was what was intended. Great job, candidate for match of the year, but actually had competition this year with Jericho Punk.

Even with Rock/Cena on the card this match was overhyped. I'm still upset that DX didn't screw Taker as well. They had the opportunity at one point to do something special but it just never happened. The match had some of the same exact flaws as last year despite SAIYANS constant reminder of Taker's rotator cuff. It was just two old men trying to do what they used of could have done. They exhausted themselves early and we got rest holds just so they can take breaks to recover. Same damn shit as last year at least last year's match they started off with maybe the hottest 5 minutes of action ever before tiring themselves out.

I think only out of both them that Trips with a younger opponent can still put on a classic but Taker looks done. I remember last time I was on here reading a thread where someone wanted him to face Ted Dibiase Jr. at Wrestlemania 33. It didn't make sense when I read and it still doesn't. 25-0 huh? Yeah let's keep pushing this dinosaur out the gate to get to that. This Wrestlemania streak is already the biggest thing in wrestling. The chances of anyone getting close to the current mark are ridiculous but if someone does get up there in the next 15-20 years it will mean a lot. Lets just let this Outlaw have his last sunset already.

I agree with you defiant it pretty much was No Holds Barred part two. They didnt even go on top of the cell or anything, which I understand cause I don't think either one of them could take a fall from such height anymore.

Oh I wasn't expecting them to go on top of the Cell, or even outside it. And like Saiyans said thats more Foley's thing. I just thought the Cell's potential for an instrument of the brutality they were going for wasn't utilized. Both buys took a lot of impressive bumps but the Cell's unique nature was mosty ignored.

Yes, it was definitely better; however I did not see the point of the match being in a cage. They hardly used the cage to hurt each other. It seemed that they added it simply to intensify the match since Triple H has so much positive experience with steel cage matches.

I thought that it easily lived up to the hype, it was an excellent match and a completely different style to last year so it is difficult to compare it. I would say that it was at least on par with what they did last year. One thing that I was impressed with was that they managed to fit in one moment where it looked like Taker would lose, it was when Shawn gave him the Sweet Chin Music, then HHH hit the pedigree and HBK then went for the fast count. Everyone knows that Taker will win at WM so to be able to create a moment that made it look like it wouldn't happen is impressive.

I want to know what happens from here. We didn't see them on RAW this week so when we will hear from any of the three?

I thought it was insane! I marked out quite a bit. It went a lot longer than I had expected, and it lived up to more than what I hoped it would be. I think we'll see Taker at the next Mania.
