Well I know TNA isn't much to brag about, but they saw alot in Christian he was the Champ for a good while.

I know that, but it's a big difference when feuding with the likes of Undertaker and Batista instead of Jeff Jarrett and Sting. and Christian was a main event guy the day he got to TNA, I still think he has to work a couple more feuds to achieve that in the WWE.

It may take time for the WWE Championship, but if they gave it to Edge and Jeff Hardy than why not give it to Christian.

They rarely if ever give both members of a tag team a title run. If you think about it, I don't think they have. I am saying from 2 stars who started out as a tag team, not like the Mega Powers or DX.

Nope. He's a good hand, good worker, can talk, but he has one huge thing against him besides the fact he isn't that over, Vince doesn't like him. He won't be exceeding mid-card title status as long as Vince is breathing.

I'd say he's got Edge beat with in ring skills and is if anything up to par with him on the mic
Doesn't have the facials that Edge has nor has he proven he can change his character, he's still the same guy who had some nice cracks as Edge's sidekick 10 years ago, Edge has added dimensions to his character, he's been a face with the E+C formula, he's been a adulterous bastard with Lita and he's been a title obsessed manipulative borderline psycho. The most Christian's character has evolved is a haircut.

I can't buy into Christian having better ring skills either. I'd take Edge's streak of awesomeness in 08 (where he was the undeniable go-to guy) over anything Christian has done the past five years. There is a reason Edge has the career that he has and Christian is having nice matches with good workers on ECW.

Great post! I cant help but agree that if Christian was WWE Title worthy, they would have evolved his character moreso in his WWE career. When he left for TNA, I didnt expect him to be a mainstay Main eventer but he was. I dont think Vince should ignore Christian's overness and ability to put matches on with Main event status guys both in TNA and WWE. He really is Captain Charisma

It depends on what creative thinks of him, and more importantly, Vince. I'm a huge Christian fan and would definitely support a World or WWE Title run for him. I voted for the WHC Title on the poll because with RAW's main event scene usually set in stone, I don't see them giving Christian a shot there. On Smackdown! however, it seems they're more invested in pushing young/different guys and a Christian World Title run could happen in the next year...I hope

If I hear one more person say Vince doesn't like Christian I'm gonna scream. I'm sure a guy Vince has so little faith in wouldn't be in charge of being the established name on the show meant for grooming the next generation of superstars. Since coming back he's won 90% of his matches and has been the strongest booked champion in the company. Yeah, sounds like Vince really has it in for the guy.

And you talk about character evolution comparing Edge to Christian. If I recall Christian left WWE in 2005. Around the time he left Edge was still mid-carding, same as him. They didn't start to give Edge his major push until shortly after Christian left. You ever think had he stayed the same thing would have eventually happened to him?

WWE isn't stupid. They saw what Christian became in TNA. Although they can't directly transfer his main event standing over to WWE, he's been booked amazingly since his return. I'm sure given a little more time and a brand change we'll see Christian moving his way up the card.

I love him, I really do. But I'm sorry guys... Edge isn't that spectacular in the ring.

Vince doesnt hate Christian. He has said that he sees him only as Mid Card Talent and not a big ME player like Edge, CM Punk or Jericho. He is the face of ECW the C show. Probably just to cover the fact that if he was to move to SD or RAW he would be a contender for either the US or IC titles and more than likely wouldnt get a sniff of WHC or WWE title. I think Christian will prove to Vince he is worthy thus eventually being world champ

So you've talked to Vince and he said that? Alright, that clears everything up.

I am truly confident that should had Christian stayed in WWE and the way he was being portrayed in 2005, he would have been champion sooner or later. And saying Vince won't push Christian or has it for Christian is saying he had it for Kurt Angle, Chris Benoit, Kane, because I mean, they were all sent to ECW.

That's the only thing I disagree with the post made by Enzo Malenko before. On the rest he's spot on. Christian is the same guy he was before and hasn't evolved like Edge, of course, that guy still reeks of awesomeness and it's enough to main event, but Edge still beats him. Edge can play more dimensions than Christian in the mic and on the ring...well, Edge is go to guy. In 2008 and 2009, Edge went through every gimmick match, through every main eventer, the WWE has to offer.

I think the WWE Pushed him to the top of ECW for a reason and see what he could do as teh face of a show imo. They did it with Punk and Morrison, it worked, with Hardy and Swagger it didn't. WIth Christan it has so far.

^You can't compare a failed Matt push to anything because there has been so very many...lol.

Only reason it didnt work for Swagger was because he never got the chance. Fuck you Vince

Christian has pretty much been the best thing in the WWE for a good while now.
